My IFB Elena Model Washing Machine is under AMC and on 29.7.2016 I lodged a complaint on IFB call centre and without sorting out the problem, they sent me a message showing that the complaint is closed. I, therefore, again lodged a complaint (complaint No. is[protected] and told them that without sorting out the problem how they have sent the message that the problem has been sorted out. Since nobody attended the machine again on dates I contacted over phone at customer care:
1) 1.8.2016
2) 3.8.2016
3) 5.8.2016
4) 2.9.2016
5) 8.9.2016
But till today nobody attended. This is a serious lapse on the part of IFB. In the past also when such a problem arose, I lodged a complaint with the Consumer Forum and somehow they sorted out the problem. Despite several requests through telephonic calls and my IFB Washing Machine is under AMC, no action is being taken on my repeated requests. The mental agony caused to me due to apathetic attitude of the supplier/manufacturer is not repairable. I, therefore, request you to please look into the matter and take appropriate action.

    Our IFB washing machine got repaired four months back and we jus had an annual maintenance renewed a week before. The Complaint is raised and the Executive came home and said he will have to change some spares and will get back soon.
    Its been four complete months. Tired of calling again and again. They cut the calls blank and don't even care to call back.

      I have been calling IFB service centers and call centers for 3 weeks about a complaint (Complaint No: [protected]) that I have raised for replacement of LED display in my washing machine, as the machine is under AMC. I was told that by one person that they have ordered the LED display and it will be fixed in 2 days time. But its been more than 3 weeks and no response from the service center. I never thought I will get such a poor response from the leading washing machine manufacturer. I will strongly recommend my relatives and friends not to purchase IFB products because of this service. I will also register these complaints in all social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter mentioning this poor response. At least after doing all these, let me see if I will get a better response from IFB. The Chennai service center is very bad and especially when I called a person named Pavithra, she mentioned she is on leave, but she is not providing the number of the other person who is responsible in her absence. This is basic corporate ethics, that if a person is on leave, his / her replacement should be accessible for business to progress. I am still waiting for a call from the service center as to when they will fix this issue.

        I ordered two products, an IFB Maxi Dry 550, & IFB Nepture Dishwasher from TataCliq, by making full payments of both on 17th Aug. 2016.

        Both the products were delivered to my parents in BROKEN and DAMAGED condition.And no proper replacement/compensatory action was taken either by TataCliq or IFB.
        It is a harassment for old people.

          I called IFB to get the fully automatic washing machine serviced. It was working fine but I was getting regular calls that the service is overdue and it may get damaged. I called the center and they said that the charges would be rs 250 for visit and general service and if any part is replaced, it would be extra. The serviceman came and did not do anything... he just opened a packet and pour into the machine. He said that that's all they do for general service. When I asked for amount, he said 750. I asked how come it's 750, he said that 250 visiting charges, 170 for the powder that he used (170 was the MRP) and 330 for putting the power into the machine. When I argued, he said talk to the company... These guys are not doing anything except cheating customers... very disappointed and would never recommend anyone to purchase IFB again... 3rd class service and unnecessary charges for nothing...

            As I purchased a ifb product(washing machine) 8.5 kg top loading. Pieces was faulty and I raise the complaint ifb call back to me on 23rd and said that you got new piece on Wednesday. But it's approx 3 weeks or more no piece I recivedd and no updation and today when I visit the retailer shop it's vijay sales. He said I m sending the technician. Them after we process . It's already takes 1 months

              Worst after sales service and support
              Its very sad writing this at the end when i seek no support from such a popular brand. Even after multiple calls to the service center and the gaining commitment from various employees with in IFB, I got no solution of just a simple issue of the microwave.

              I sometime wonders about the fame of this company with such a bad after sales services.

              I purchased 25Sc4 last year in May and since then.i have registered 5 complaints for the same reason but now i conclude that company doesnt even have a good support after selling the product no matter how many times you wake up to fix the issue.

              I have a complaint opened on 29 of july which was cancelled without getting concent from me, moreover i opened up sice 3rd of aug and so far after many a calls and commitment no engineer come to visit and fix the issue.

              I beleive now its better to either get a new micro from some reputed brand and forget about getting any issue fix from these fake commited people on board in various potions of IFB.

              Just to add up if i still dont get a quick response then perhaps i got no chocie to get new micro and to file a complaint against such an irresponsible behaviour towards customer.

                Dear Sir/Madam,

                This is regarding one of my IFB product (Dishwasher) issue. I have registered a complain on 29th of Aug 2016. The complaint number is [protected]. As per the SMS the service should be provided within 24 hours of time. since then I have called several times to the customer care. Each time getting similar answers from them “sir your things has been escalated to the higher management” it will be resolved soon. I do not know what do you mean by soon? As a customer we do not have much time to keep calling you. Each time I called customer care I spent a minimum of 20 mins because of waiting time. Do not know how you guys are going to resolve the issue. every time I called your customer care they are providing me the service manager number Mr. Jyothibabu’s number [protected]. I have never seen such an irresponsible person. Who is neither lifting the phone nor calling me back.

                Everyday morning, I have only one home work to call customer care once and call the stupid person 10 times. I am so frustrated with the IFB customer care service. Please take necessary action as soon as possible, or let me know if you want me to reach the consumer court.

                Can you please answer my question? if the guaranty/warrantee of my product expires, can you extend the same no days that I am waiting to get the service?

                For ex: incase guaranty/warrantee is for 2 yrs. And you delayed 10 days, can you extend the guaranty period the same 10 days?

                  This is ramesh m from coimbatore. I am using ifb washing machine and ifb microwave oven, today i recieved a message related complaint ticket number. This is unexpected, because i have not raised any complaint today. The complain number i received is [protected]. And i called customer care representative, and they confirmed that the complaint raised today. This is not first time. And this is not trust worthy from ifb industries.                       I have complained about the non working of my ifb machine. It took more than 7 days to resolve and finally guy came and replaced some part may be pcb, and changed the door lock (In a earlier complaint)
                      Now it is not drying the cloths. Door can be opened while machine is running.

                      No one is listening to door problem and they are not sending professional trained manpower to repair the machine,

                      We are sufferring from last 20 days and spent some 4000 rs just on cloth wash and there is no alternative.

                          I had made 3 time call to customer care in last week to service my Washing machine. Also, I told them to repair it because it started with "error".
                          The care told me, company engineer will visit shortly. But engineer not come for single visit in 3 calls.
                          Also, machine was not yet serviced from purchased date to till.
                          In last visit the person told to buy stabilizer of Rs 4000/-
                          Why stabilizer?
                          That machine I purchased for Rs.- 23000/-
                          Instead of other company with low price about 8000/- to 10000/-

                            We have bought this above mentioned washing machine 20 days back and now facing problem with some water pipe is crack and also not available at your service centre in patiala ..online complaint already logged with compliant number 18321426 on 29.8.2016 but till date no action has been taken, its a exchange offer machine so we dont have any other washing machine now.its very difficult to wash clothes.so kindly reslove my issue

                              I purchased washing machine tl-rdw 6.5 KG aqua in the month of may-2016. due to some problem it stopped working on 24th August, 2016. I lodged a complaint at toll free no. on 25.08.16 and compliant was registered on ticket no.18300669 allotted. But to my surprise no service agent came to check the machine. I repeatedly call at toll free no for nearly four times, last today on 04.09.2016 and each time there is response it will be attended today, but to my surprise no one has checked the machine till date.
                              It is very shocking a world level company has such type of after sale service and there service centers didn't attend the compliant after lodging compliant after 12 days. You are requested to look into it and resolve it immediately. my phone no. is [protected]

                              The mechine was working during morning. Suddenly it shopped. We are not able to identify the reson for the same. Some mechnic needs to visit and inspect the reasons and take necessary action. It is very urget since the mechine is filled withs and we are not able to take away.

                                Hello,

                                My IFB washing machine developed some strange sound few days back and resulted in some critical damage on the inter side of the lid of the machine. A hole is also there due to this. I had registered three complaints of this purpose;
                                (complaint no 18268157, 16858612,[protected] but of no avail. People would call but no action to fix the issue. Somebody visited went back with the promise tom come back but never returned. It is a deep disappointment and unbelievable to see a company like IFB providing such pathetic customer service. Looks like, since my guarantee is about to expire therefore, IFB is trying to delay the whole process to pass the cost to me.

                                No response on email as well. Toll free numbers works on will and are unavailable mostly.

                                  I am Swetha, I logged a complaint for my oven repair, On repeated calls and reminders they have attended on 19th May 2016 and said the problem is related to the capacitor and it costs more than Rs.1000/-, so suggested to register AMC warranty so that capacitor will be covered under warranty which gets activated after 45 days and made us pay 1500 + Service charge 300 for home visit = Rs.1800/-.

                                  Later, waited for the AMC to activate and i have registered complaint again and given the ticket number as 10859056 on 8th July 2016 and the person has attended on 14th July and said as it was some fuse problem and nothing more and need to be replaced which cost 500/- and is not covered under warranty. But, left saying parts to replace are not available.

                                  Now, the second visit person has been cancelled my request without any reason. And again request has been raised [protected] on 6th August and not even response i got from them now.

                                  First a reputed company like IFB should have better qualified people to handle simple matters.Now I feel that it has been made a big mistake that we bought an ifb product because ifb’s sevice has proved to be the worst till now. we are using so many products but haven’t had such kind of experience.

                                    I taken the company service for IFB Microwave oven grilled 20PG3S model against complaint # 14536733 dated 23/12/14.
                                    Company has arranged the service via their authorized service center Sri Ram.
                                    To fix the issue, their service representative removed key pad and replaced with non-grilled one. This made my microwave oven as non-grilled without my knowledge. I raised the complaint to fix it and get me back the grilled one as earlier, but they are not responding now.

                                      Very poor service..had a breakdown 2 months back..just need to replace a part but even after regular repeated complaints..the service people have not yet resolved my complaint. My product is in warranty. The service people always have excuses for delay in service. I am reminding them from the 8th of July! The head office in raipur here nearest to me..there the people give excuses like the part is not available or the part came for replacement was faulty or they don't have any technician available. They always tell us the next day next day..but here I am still waiting for a descent response.

                                        I have taken AMC for IFB washing machine. My machine is having problem and I made a complaint one and half months back. 1 technician came and he said I will come tomorrow and repair your washing machine. Since last 1 1/2 months I am chasing to repair my washing machine but no one is coming to repair washing machine. IFB employee Mr Surender Sharma ([protected]) he does not know how to talk to a person. I requested him and told my problem that no technician is coming to repair my machine. He misbehaved with me. This is such a serious issue. Now after this problem I will never suggest anyone to buy IFB PRoduct or taking AMC from IFB because of the response of IFB Employees.
                                        Again I Called Customer care and got number of MR das. I spoke to him and he gave me assurance to repair my washing machine. He was trying and gave instructions to MR Surender SHarma but evertime he was making me fool. Is it my duty to remind everyday to repair my washing machine. I have taken AMC for 1 year and last 11/2 months machine is not working, so why anyone will take AMC from IFB.
