I bought a IFB W/M EVA AQUA VX washing machine on 26th Aug 2016 from RENU & COMPANY, Greater Noida, Invoice no. 178. Despite repeated reminders the machine has not been installed yet. One cursory visit was made by the engineer who insisted I get a tap installed before he would do the job. Despite my explaining to him that I had got i elbow bib cock installed, he refused to relent. I have been calling the shop and the engineer twice everyday without any results. I am a retired Armed Forces officer and Senior Citizen seeking your help. Such a response from IFB was totally unexpected!

    I have IFB Front load Eva DX 5 kg and it has some technical issue since last 5 months, Ref: Tickat No.[protected] and 18326820. I must have complain more than 50 times to IFB toll free no., authorized representatives but no. response at all.. Irony they have already taken the money of damage product above the actual price but not giving the Bill...

    If we talk to local service center, his behavior and way of talking is really ridiculous and arrogant. I demanded for bill he denied and when I threat to complain, he porously challenged to complain any where. and he was rite, even he is not listening IFB official person and IFB company is at all not taking action against him.

    I would strongly recommend public to not buying IFB product at all even they are giving u free u cost..

      We have ifb washing machine front load. We took amc for rs5500 and we are told all mechanical parts are covered in that accept plastic bordy parts for 2 years. Now we are facing the problem in the machine water filter is not working technican came to check and told us we have to pay rs1800 for this part because this part is not covered in amc.

      This is the way how theses reputed companies make fool of their customers. And make money.

        Dear ifb,

        Myself d. Thanikavel prabhu from chennai-117. I bought ifb washing machine model ifb tl-rds on may 2016. The probelms i faced was detailed below.
        Very very worst useless machine.. It wont wash and not removing light stains from cloths...
        Washing quality is very poor. It is not cleaning tough stains. After rinsing also some detergents traces are there in cloths. Totally waste of money and waste machine. I bought this machine 3 months back. I feel i lost the money in the very worst product. Another big problem is often machine get off when it get shift from washing cycle to rinsing cycle or rinsing cycle to spin cycle.
        I ask ifb, to stop selling this type of worst product...
        You are cheating the peoples, by selling poor products.
        I have posted an complaint in facebook.. But as usual they given smooth answer. No use of having this ifb tl-rds machine in my house. Kindly take back the machine, so that i can go for ifb front loading machine or else payback my money. Because the washing quality of ifb tl-rds is very poor and worst. I need solution for this issue.
        Pls stop selling this useless model. May be many people in india may lose money by buying this worst machine. Main purpose of washing machine is to wash and clean the cloths in good manner. But this ifb tl-rds machine is like a wet grinder, just soak, wash the cloths for 45 mins and final cloth washing quality is zero. All the stains and dirty will remains in cloths. Useless machine. Pls take back the machine.

        I need prompt action from you... Proceed to consumer court to complaint against your quality of ifb product.

        Kindly take emergency action on this issue...

        Note: pls don’t give smooth answers or computer generated answers...

        ear IFB, yesterday[protected] your technician arraived by 5 pm and checked the machine.as per his suggestion one jeans and T-shirt was put for washing.all the machine settings required for washing was done by him.after complete washing i checked the cloths and observed same white traces of washing powder .it clearly shows that washing machine poor quality of washing.it work as a wet grinder, not as a washing machine.i attached pictures for your reference.take immediate action for replacement or pay back my money.because daily i cant waste my time, by explaining the same probelm to you.i bought this washing machine for my house hold purpose, not for doing research in quality of machine.that is IFB work to do all kind of testing and research work on their product in thier workshop.iam not able to wash cloths for past 10 days...so dont take more time to replace or pay back my money.this useless machine...ideal in my house.

        Dont keep on sending technician to solve the issue.This probelm is machine quality of washing.how the technician will solve????.i need an clear answer from you...when you are going to replace the machine or give back my money...

        Pls dont simply send smooth answered mails.i want the existing machine to be replaced or pay back my money...

          I booked my complaints vide ticket no's. 18296023 dated 24/08/2016 and 18313650 dated 27/08/2016 and yesterday vide 18322460. Till date no one from the company visited my house to repair. Although i twice have received sms that the problem is resolved from the company end.
          I believe that company is cheating on its customers.
          My washing machine is under warranty.
          Now, people (Mob. No. [protected]) from the company has started threatening on my phone for not complaining on public platform.

              I am an IFB washing machine customer-ID No 2511295 from Thrissur, Kerala.My SENORITA PLUS machine's belt to connect motor and drum damaged due to usage.when I am personally go to your service center at west fort, NP COMPLEX and asked the belt with sample piece, they denied the same and reluctant to book complaint and asked to go for toll free number.This is a rediculas procedure. only your technicians will do the work even though I can do the same myself with in 5 minutes I have to wait in Que for two days. The manager there is not considering me as your customer.this is utter rubbish procedure . once anybody purchased a product spare must be available to anybody

                I had complained about my ifb washing machine display not working. (Your ticket no. Is 18308133. Ifb care will get in touch with you shortly. Please call[protected]/ [protected] for updates, quoting ticket no.)

                3 days later one person came, his mobile number ([protected]) and he said he is discuss with company and let me know but he after that he never came back.

                He even had not open or did anything for that display just saw it and said that need to change the panel. Why they need to change the panel when we can fix it? And before buy your team told me that anything gets bad within warranty period it is free of coast and we will fix it. But now they are demanding more then 5, 000/- for that.

                I need to know why your team cant just fix it but not replace with new one. There is a solution for this as well.

                Ome time display does not work but most of the time it is working. And when this guy came it was also was working well and was showing display then how he is saying that need to change the panel when he had not open or did anything but just came and see and telling us.

                Please look into this mater serious or otherwise i need to take stick action in this.

                  My customer ID 10477938. I had service request for inlet pipe 2m and trolley for my IFB Sanorita 6.5 kg front load washing machine. It is more than a week now but no technician contacted till now. Spoke repeatedly with customer care and IFB Assam branch for no fruitful result. Whereas when directly contacted the IFB authorised dealer Tezpur Assam, he is charging more money for the service and the spare. If this service continues then after a waiting period of two to three days further, I will forced to complain through consumer grievance cell. Please do the needful...

                  Electric Heater not working rest is operational
                  pl send any one to attain it
                  I have micro wave oven, which is not in working. I made complaint to you toll free number and your technician came, checked the product and told me its PCB has to be replaced. And today after approximately more than 4 months call came saying that my unit in non serviceable as my micro wave is more than 10 years old. PCB is not available.

                    My dishwasher started malfunctioning 20 days ago .I have complained twice by tollfree number. No one has come to resolve my complain till date . What is the use of complain centre. I had a similar experience in April. No one came to resolve my complain even then .                       I had register complaints many times from the shop which i bought the washing machine from. Until now IFB hasn't contacted me or attended my problem. I suggested IFB for many people from now onwards i won't suggest it. Whirpool is much better than IFB service. If you don't resolve this issue ASAP i am going to change to Whirpool. The brand value is going down due to this worst service. My new ticket number is [protected]

                        I bought a ifb washing machine one year back but till now it can't be put to use due to improper installation of the machine. ...the company made a shoddy tap conjunction which get lose and resulted into inadequate supply of water therefore not running of machine. Company should be responsible for the first installation at least. How a consumer adjust tap size according to the company.company should provide an adjustable fitting to the consumer's tap. I want a compensation for not able to use the machine for one year as well as the cost of the fitting afford by me for making the machine put to use however the company send his technician promptly but they are unequipped and unprofessional.
                        The resentment I am feeling due to this company is not only causes physical work load but also mental pressure of a guilt that I have invested my money in wrong place.

                          Hello,

                          IFB Washing machine - Mumbai - NOT responding properly, Machine parts are broken.

                          I given a complaint on May 2016 by calling to IFB customer care, they sent a person to took photos (he used a android mobile phone to took photos) and he said engineer will visit and solve the problem. Till August 24th 2016 no one called me.

                          Again on 24th August I called IFB customer care and ask for status they said ticket is closed. And she ask me to for creating a new complaint ticket, new ticket number is Complaint # [protected]

                          Even though given complaint, customer care person told me to call Nearest customer service center and given below details : Meenakshi (co-ordination and provide service center services) & Mr.Harshad[protected] / 28835997 / 28881391 / 92

                          I called them they said call to our engineer Engineer number : [protected]...Ritesh

                          I called him, he said you have to pay for service (Even though it have 10 years Waranty, and machine taken just 1 year before), He is saying you broken other wise how it will break parts? He just seen photos and said I broken them, not sure on which based they decided, thank god I have Video when those are little bit broken in May 2016 and after 3 months it become 2 parts.

                          When I call them they wont pick up phone for free services / warranty.

                          Again I called customer care this time they given one more manager number her name is Priti. I called her discussed with her, she said her manager will call me in 15 min, never happen.

                          I can say IFB is WORST COMPANY, Service is WORST (actually it is not WORST, they have NOT GIVEN ANY SERVICE)

                          IFB WARRANTY is a CHEATING. They ask for money other wise no service.

                            Microwave oven not responding. It gets switched on and the regulatory buttons are working fine but the food is not at all getting hot. The oven was bought 4 years back. we tried rotating the buttons several times but of no use. Even the glass plate and light inside the oven are operating fine. it was not functioning since 24.08.16 evening. requesting to send a technical person from IFB, Goa to resolve the issue as we are situated at vasco, Goa at a distance of 15-20 kms from IFB, Goa.

                            I have bought washing machine in (24-june-2016) from Pittappillil agencies Ettumanoor
                            .After 20 days the machine got complaint and reported in customer care and agencies.
                            And no one has came to repair the washing machine .According as it has the worst customer service. Please repair the machine as quick as possible

                              Despite writing the below email to CEO bijon_nag, I have neither received any reply nor received any acknowledgement.

                              Dear Sir,

                              IFB has traditionally maintained its market standing on Washing Machine since ages and I do have found memories of my relatives and friends proudly owning and displaying an IFB washing machine. Even the service quality and the persons attending to the same were very thorough and professional. Based on inputs from many I had purchased a Senorita DX 5.5 Kg Washing Machine and have been using it for the past 8 years without any problems which did show the robustness and the service life of the machine.Very recently i.e. in June 2016 we first complained about our clothes getting permanently stained with black colour after each and every wash. June 9, 2016 complaint ticket number was [protected]. The person who attended said that it was because of high Iron content and he installed a iron filter and we paid somewhere Rs 4000 to that person which included installation charges because we moved to a different house. He also sold an IFB detergent liquid too and said to use the same. Despite IFB detergent and Iron filter, our problems were not resolved. Almost all the clothes (including expensive one's) which we washed since then had permanent black stains. We probably thought that the machine might have lived its life and were fully prepared to purchase a new washing machine on exchange offers and we had decided to purchase IFB 6.5 kg Fully Automatic Front Load Washing Machine (Senorita Aqua SX - 6.5 KG) either through flipkart or from Reliance Digital store which we had already seen depending upon the cheapest cost. But my husband advised me to complain once again to IFB and if it was unserviceable then we can go or the new one. Accordingly a complaint ticket No 11032106 was registered for the same problem. We were assured that a Senior technician would come and solve our problem since in the last complaint the technician fooled us about iron content, iron filter without resolving our problem. On August 19, 2016 a technician named Suraj came to our residence, checked the WM and said that drum needs replacement.We agreed and said go ahead. He later asked Rs 3200 for drum replacement & Rs 345 as service charge. We politely told him that he can bring the new drum and replace the same and later he can demand all the money which was eligible including service charge. Be he bent upon that we should pay him Rs 345 for service charge and if we want drum we should additionally pay him Rs 3200. We again requested him to bring the drum, replace and then take all the money. But he didn't agree and demanded Rs 345 as service charge first. Sir, please tell me why should I pay the money when he has not resolved our complaint. Should we pay him just because he said the drum needs replacement (We registered a complaint because we knew there was some problem. We wanted solution as we don't wanted to get fooled again just like the iron content and iron filter). Was it not his duty to bring a new drum and replace the same and then demand all the money. Despite several requests he didn't budge and later threatened us that he is the only technician in this area and come what may because of the monopoly which he holds and commands here, we would not be getting any service from IFB. He also threatened that even if we go for new machine too, we wont get any service and he will ensure the same. We had seen such an unprofessional attitude for the first time from an IFB person. Till date there was never a problem either in New Delhi or in Mumbai. We are really scared now that we wont be able to purchase a new IFB washing machine nor get the earlier serviced because of the threatening made by Suraj on monopolistic service. Thought to bring the matter to your knowledge because of such person, the reputation of your company may be at stake.

                                I have been a customer of ifb since 1994 and currently own an ifb washer dryer 9kg/7kg and a dishwasher.


                                My appliances gave me satisfactory service barring regular small issues which were satisfactorily taken care of by service centre.


                                However, recent events are making me rethink my loyalty to ifb.


                                I had registered complaint number 1818907 on 31 july, but got no response until 3rd aug and i called the toll free numbers at least 15 times after multiple waiting times and disconnections. I was given the numbers of the service centre manager in delhi - raman, branch manager bharat bhushan and also another manager sidhahrth as the first wto numbers were switched off.


                                Finally an engineer visited my house on 3rd and said that the door lock was to be repaired. This would cost rs 1500+ taxes.


                                Engineer came on 8th and then informed that the pcb was also spoit and it would cost another rs 7, 500 plus taxes.


                                I questioned the engineers competency in not having checked everything at one time and after 2 days and nearly 35 phone calls later to the area manager etc, another engineer came and confirmed that these two parts were to be replaced.

                                As the amount was huge i requested that i will get back in a couple of days with my decision.


                                The customer care then unilaterally opened another ticket[protected] without my earlier ticket being closed and with the same complaint. I got to know through an sms only.


                                Since 14th august, i made at least 50 attempts to contact the service centre on 17th aug and spoke to the customer care supervisor, rana who assured me that the engineer would come and replace the parts on 19th.


                                Since no action was taken and i could not contact the service centre as the phone was not reachable, i spoke to srikant, the floor supervisor at customer care on 19th aug and he assured me that the issue would be resolved. The service centre manager, sunny, immediately called me on friday evening and promised to have the repairs done in 2 days. I spoke with him again on 22nd and he assured me the same.


                                It is 24th aug today and i am unable to contact the service center as their phone is always engaged or the call does not go through.


                                Is this the type of serve given to customers of 28 years. Is there a timeline for your complaints closure.


                                I should have written this complaint several weeks ago, but was always assured by the customer care of immediate attention.

                                  I was purchase IFB washing machin from your dearer at Godhra (389001) as per company guide every six month from decard powder wash the machine . I was call your service person four time but not attended. pl send your person for gide.

Every 2days once we regularly visiting ifb point kanchipuram telling that service person will come today but they are lying. We have already got ticket for servicing but why they are delaying still no service person visited? I want to know wheather from your side compliant was not resolved yet ifb assistance need to question that particular dealer to resolve the issue. No one has responded yet.

                                        Complaint token no. 18259607 dt 16-8-16. Technician visitted on 17-8-16 and said that it will be repaired on 19-8-16. But no one turned up and no information had been given by the service centre lucknow. Finally after approaching the call center[protected]/[protected] several times it is repaired today 23-8-16. What a poor service. I could not contact any local repairer because i have a valid amc.
