First guy from the service station said that my pcb of my washing machine need to be replaced he said it's for 4850 rs I need you guys to check if it's the right price or not

    I had my washing machine services on April 28/29 2022. The Technician _ Vinod Kumar - Mobile Number [protected] came for the service and said he had replace following parts

    (a) Drum
    (b) Dampers
    (c) Outer Rubber lining

    He said initially Drum is only covered in AMC and other two parts are not covered in AMC. I had an argument with him and ultimately he charged me for Outer Rubber Lining for Rs 3850 for which he asked me to Google pay. Initially I reused to pay and he promised that he will send the receipt next day. I had also called the local IFB Service Centre through which it was organized - Number- [protected] - I am yet to receive any response

    Kindly let me know whether the amount was charged rightly and why the amount was asked to be paid to his account?
    After many follow up I received a cash memo which appears to be fake

      I raised a complaint on washing machine not working. Technician came and said pcb not working. He didn't gave any information on where to buy. Please help me on buying a pcb and send a Technician to repair. We prefer to solve this issue by ifb.

        I have ordered the Serena WXS front load washing machine from the official website https://www.ifbappliances.com on 25/04/2022 the product was expected to get delivered by 01/05/2022 but the product didn't reached. So i called so many times to ifb customer care every time i call they will say that our marketing team is handle all this query we can't help in this but we will arrange you callback, but that marketing team never called back. As many times i call they took me each and every details and say the same dialouge that marketing team will call back. i even mailed to them regarding my product to get deliverd but in mail i also get same responsse that the concerned team will reach you soon but that concernced team never called back. IFB applilances totally doing fraud i can say as they are not having any proper team to handle the issue. After taking the full payment of 35k then also they are not delivering product. so its my humble request that strict action should be taken against ifb industry for doing such fraud work.

        I've ordered IFB Senator WSS Frontload washing machine from Ifb official website on 15/02/2023 order id [protected].

        washing machine estimated delivery date was 19/02/2023 but still my order is not shipped yet.

        That's very urgent for me to have washing machine as soon as possible because we don't have any backup washing machine. Please provide me my machine as soon as possible.

            Hi, This is Yugantar and I purchased IFB split AC on 25th April from local dealer in Gurugram. On the next day, engineer came for the installation and there I got to know that AC was defective as It was not cooling and showing P1 error on indoor unit.
            When I talked to dealer about the defective AC delivered, They said that please speak to IFB customer care. I raised a complain on the same day through customer care and they marked it as resolve after 3 days without any action. Then I got area sales Manager number (Nitin) after many calls on customer care and then raised IFB AC Replacement request [protected] through Nitin. But I still waiting response on this request from last 8 days to replace my AC.

              Hello IFB team.

              Am Yogaraj. Am using IFB products washing machine, Microwave, absolutely your products good.

              And i recommended your IFB products to my known circles till date.

              But definitely I'll stop recommending IFB products anymore.
              Because I experienced now the Worst Customer service & Behaviour from your IFB employee from IFB point, Cuddalore.

              I am need of fix my issues in IFB Microwave. One of person came. And told us to take AMC for 2 Years. Then in next 45 Days. We will get fix your machine.

              We paid it on 10/02/2022.
              79 days crossed from the date.

              "The Highlight here is Service charge is also paid which is gona do service in future"

              But still we not get fixed even a screw on machine.

              While we calling the same person. He not even remember about the complaint. I have annexed my proof of payment reciept along with this mail.After clarify about my complaint. He told apology and then we will fix it by next day. No one responded commited day. Then called again. " He told there is no stock on your spare. Then he raising his voice on us. What you want us to do. Wait till Monday. If not we will return your money" is this the customer support speech?

              My questions are...

              Is this the method of following consumer complaints?

              Where the customer support here?

              How i can consider & trust those Local Agencies as IFB points?

              Are you guys verifying that they have enough stuff to handle customers before giving Frachecies to Locations?

              Is IFB having Complaint policies for consumers as per Indian cvc Act?cvc.gov.in

              Upon checking to raise the complain about your IFB employee / Customer suport team & IFB point. There is no way to raise our complaint.

              Can please take nessesary action to educate your Customer suport team Service Persons / IFB Points. About customer complaints handling. If possible send the your Complaint Handling policy to them to how to handle & behave to the customers.

              I can't see IFB consumer "Complaint policy " can pls forward me to gothrough and take up this complaint further.

                Dear Sir/Madam,
                I raised my complain regarding working of AC installed in my home on 14/04/22 at your customer care no. and they allotted me a ticket no [protected].
                Next day, IFB technician (Mr. Saddam) visited home and inspected our AC and told us Compressor of AC is to be replaced. As it was under warrantee (AC was purchased in year 2019), service technician told us that he is sending request to IFB for compressor replacement.
                Till now, we are following your Local service center ( Bokaro Steel City) and customer care repeatedly but no further action has been taken.
                Even on 25/04/22, a Message was received from TK-IFBCRM that my ticket has been resolved. I couldn't understand how this message has been sent when my AC problem remains unattended till now.
                I have contacted several times to customer care and local center and they are saying that we send such massage for soft closure and we will change your compressor soon and making AC working.

                IFB is a very reputed brand and it doesn't seem good for IFB for their such action/activity for taking up customer complain.

                I humbly request to your good office for kindly resolve this issue as early as possible and don't make us realize that purchasing IFB AC was our major mistake.

                  I called the above Helpline taken from Internet search. I was answered by a Support Associate who promised me a home visit by a technician within 24 hours, The Technician (Cell No. +[protected]Cell No. +[protected] visited my residence and inspected our washing machine. The solution offered by the technician was to get the mother board repaired which would cost Rs.Six thousand Six Hundred with a 1 year warranty and a visit charge of Rs.Three hundred & Fifty. I paid the visit charge and the technician took away the mother board. Next day the technician came with the so called repaired mother board and replaced it in the washing machine. I was asked to pay Rs.Six thousand Six Hundred. I asked for the receipt and I was told to give my details and the receipt would be sent to me by WA in ten minutes. Believing these words, I gave Rs.Six thousand Six Hundred and the technician left. I did not receive the receipt. Within three days the washing machine again developed problem. When I called the above numbers I was given evasive answers regarding the receipt and further service. I have not received receipt or the follow up service even after a month. I was given another number of a Manager (Cell No. +[protected] who has been consistently evasive. I am posting this so that others would not end up being cheated in a similar way and by the people whose phone numbers are mentioned above. Now the Associate at the Helpline number[protected] just disconnects my call. Kindly contact using numbers mentioned in the website only.

                    Hi,

                    I am having the IFB Serena aqua SX LDT 6KG 1000 rpm which was brought on[protected].

                    Issue is that during 4 years of warranty, no one from service team has contacted us for even the general service. I tried to contact the IFB Point chengalpet but no response from them. They contacted us via the registered mobile number at the month of January 2022 which was 2 months after the warranty period is over.

                    They visited our address & told that AMC needs to be opted for any service from here after since the warranty period is over. I have questioned them why didn't you have visited is for the warranty period of 4 years even for the general service, they just diverted my questions and asked to pay for AMC for the services. I refused that due to incredebality from them.Because they usually don't reach us after for the company warranty of 4 years.

                    Inaddition, I have addressed them that the machine is not getting started and Start/Pause button is not working. Technician who visited asked to replace the whole PCB at a very huge cost which he coated around 6500rs for PCB board and 650rs for service charge. I'm much afraid that it might be repaired by replacing the faulty fused register or diode or a capacitor in the PCB with a cost of couple of hundred of Rupees.

                        Vanakkam/Namaskar, Authorized service provider found inexperinced with constantly chekcing over phone with some else as what the problem could be. Infact making incorrect diagnosis of motor not functioning or unable to bear load, etc.

                        1) Complaint Booked: 7 Mar '22 at IFB toll Free;
                        2) Complaint: IFB Executive front load machine starts its first soap and water intake timer cycle completely and moves to next wash cycle -but does not start that wash cycle of clock and anti clock wash cycles.

                        3) 8 or 9th Mar '22 its Authorized Service Provider "Tharshini Enterprises" attended ICR no 63 dtd 9/3/22 .

                        4) Person unable to figure problem; Found inexperienced and states its Agency just sarted few days back. He keeps contacting others over phone for guidance. Comes next day -but without any back up spares to check which and what are at faults and with no solutions. Starts giving advice of buy back replacement to new model than repair solutions.

                        This is even when Timer, Pressure, Drum and Motor working with PC board to working till reaching Wash cycle and even drain and spinning when manually moving timer.

                        5) Recorded our displeasure - had to pay sevice fee just for nothing done by them and no solution except facing their marketing new washing models! PLEADED FOR THEM TO CHECK AND FIGURE SOLUTIONS, SPARES -OLD REWORKED ONES TOO IF NEW ONE UNAVAILABLE FOR NOW, ETC.
                        6) NEVER CONTACTED US BACK.
                        7) NO FEEDBACK COLLECTED; NO SIGN TAKEN ON RECEIPT; NO COMPLAINT ESCALATION OPTIONS.

                        First - thanks to this forum for evoking prompt response from IFB, who, I also thank, for calling in offering to redress by investigating.

                        Service call accepted knowing its is old machine but provide repair that are possible without new spare as they are no longer mfg. Complaint here itself is that ambiguos, incompetent, incomplete, negligent, callous service was provided with no specific problem identified by person who attended. Had lengthy back and forth debate on each problem that he tried to be reason with my factual counters. In short - IFB response is escaping and absolving their duty and service obligation to provide unambigous specific identified problem - esspecially when IFB proceeded to declare my machine 'dead' and started pusing me to opt for 'Exchage offer'.

                        IMPORTANT NOTE: No one was willing to record what was actual problem identified - only oral statements...which is:
                        1) Before complaint: Field person of agency stating ambiguous, incomplete, conflicting, non static reasons
                        2) Post this complaint:
                        a) Agency incharge stating Timer
                        b) IFB Area Customer Head claiming Timer, Motor, Drum (probably if I heard right).
                        c) After complaining and expressing frusstratin on conflicting problems and change fo goal post of proble, IFB Customer Head retorts back to back track and restate Timer being heart and when that does not function, it is impossible to figure if rest of parts are functioning or not!

                        Again, 'best "special" offer' was attempted to offer with no specific amount ever mentioned and I insisted to first have written record of what eactly was part or process identified as the problem or what prevented them from any further possible repair or replacement.

                        REPEAT: NO ONE IS WILLING TO STATE EITHER OF THESE VERSION ON RECORD.

                        INSTEAD, NEGLIGENT, CALLOUS SERVICE AND FARCIAL REDRESSAL ORCHASTRATED THAT MACHINE WAS NOT SERVICABLE SO OFFERED EXCHANGE OFFER.

                        Does IFB dare to record what problem/part was recorded as failed from their onsite visit for which Rs 590 was charged? At that time itself I objected as only 'Service charge' was mention when no service was rendered complete or problem identified explictly as to declare my machine dead and require new life... at my expesne!

                        IS THIS SUSTAIANBLE PRACTIVE? Not to specify what part failed and allow such part to require entire machine with its motor, drum, sensors, timer, pc board, wiring, body, door, etc., to be dumbed in wastefill?

                          I relocated within Bangalore and called the tollfree number[protected] for de-installation and re-installation of my IFB Washing machine.
                          I was charged Rs650/- for de-installation on 1st April 2022 and no invoice was given.
                          The re-installation was done on 6 April 2022 and I was charged Rs 6550/- for the following:
                          1. Re-installation - Rs 1000/-
                          2. General servive ( wiping the outside with soap, small cleaning at back) - Rs 1450/-
                          3. Stand with wheels - Rs 3250/-
                          4. Pipe - Rs 850/-
                          THE ENTIRE AMOUNT WAS TAKEN IN CASH AND NO BILL WAS PROVIDED DESPITE REQUESTING MULTIPLE TIMES ON PHONE AND WHATSAPP.
                          The machine was shaking and moving as the stand was not properly fixed. On calling multiple times the same 2 technicians came and adjusted it.
                          I HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED AND INCORRECTLY SO THEY ARE RELUCTANT TO PROVIDE A BILL. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED
                          AND FEEL CHEATED BY THIS SERVICE. IT IS A SHAME THAT A GOOD COMPANY LIKE IFB ALLOWS THEIR CUSTOMERS TO BE TREATED LIKE THIS.

                          I do not agree with the response. The tollfree number takes me to the same website Ifbappliances.com which has the same tollfree number listed. If a fake third party is using this number to dupe your customers you need to take action.

                            I have been using IFB front load machine for 2 years and there was a defect in the drum and because of this the rubber behind the door torn.
                            So now the drum will be repaired for no cost as I have warranty for 4 years but I have to pay 2500 bucks for the rubber which was torn because of the internal fault of the machine in the first place. This is so not right first I buy a expensive machine and now a whole lot of expense within just 2 years they are literally stealing my hard earned money and I don't know what to do about it

                              Hi, I had ordered Executive ZXS on IFB portal https://www.ifbappliances.com/
                              on April 6th. It's been 8 days i did not receive product nor i received order status from customer service. I am sending emails on [protected]@ifbglobal.com but they don't respond on my order status.
                              And when i call customer care they ask me to wait for call but no one enquired on the order. And IFB website doesn't display my order status. either. Please check attachment for reference.

                              Please address this issue. i have been waiting for long and it is tiring to go on so many emails for pre-paid product.

                                I have IFB washing machine having issue with drum noise on high RPM and more shaking,
                                I contacted local service center in mysore, they told they need to complete drum service and exchange of few parts. They said it will cost 7000rs. Kindly help if this price is accurate.

                                  I contacted local IFB service Mysore and they said it will cost 7000rs for complete servicing drum.

                                    I raised a complaint to the IFB service engineer in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh.
                                    The service Engineer attended the complaint after four days. The service engineer opened the front pannel of the machine without unscrewing a screw-on left side, causing the breakage of plastic body at the screw location. Also, resulted in a crack on the motherboard of the control pannel plastic outerbody. After four days ie 04/04/2022, I got a call from the service engineer mentioning that I need to pay for the motherboard due to the crack on the panel body (physical damage).

                                    The crack on the motherboard body might have resulted due to the same installation team or service engineer while hardly opening the body without unscrewing one screw.

                                    The machine is under four year warranty, purchased 20.12.2019.

                                    So, Please replace the motherboard for free of cost.

                                      We have an IFB automatic washing machine. The authorized IFB representative asked us to renew Annual maintenance contract. they took the money. Since then isn't visiting to repair the machine. After repeated requests, they are not scheduling a repair visit....

                                      I hv put complaint of My IFB d/w Neptune VX not working in Nov 2021. the service center sent people several times but each time they leftwithout resolving saying an internal board to be replaced. Also every 2 weeks they close the unresolved complaint and i am asked to open a fresh complaint. The agency head said the part is difficult to source...Last week they again sent a person who again said the problem requires some internal board to be changed.
                                      If I go to IFB point online for my area and look for same model new d/w it says delivery in 5 days. So why can't they just bring the part from there and replace in mine. After all i am still in AMC and my d/w is 2019 Apr only.
