Since I bought my automatic ifb front load washing machine every week I have been complaining and complaining. Even after asking for a replacement they are not replacing the defective machine. I have sent numerous mails but no response

My complaint ticket number is [protected]. The Washing machine due to high vibration problem fell and the PCB of the machine in turn got damaged. The machine is under warranty up to August 2022, yet the service executive is claiming that it will not be covered and the cost of replacing the board will be 7650/- rupees and an additional 500/- rupees for the broken pipe.

Issue with this complaint:

The machine fell due to high vibration which was a problem of the machine itself and hence should be covered under the warranty since the damage was due to the issue of the machine itself. Also the falling of the machine could have been a safety issue had there been any person around the machine.

I have an IFB washing Machine of Model SERENA AQUA SX LDT. I have raised a service request on 10.01.22 with ticket no. [protected] and IFB technician came on 11.01.22 and told that PCB and door lock needs to be changed. Since I am an AMC holder with AMC No.61430165 he told that the said spares will be replaced free of cost and told that it will be replaced in 2-3 days time but he has neither turned up nor responded to my calls or messages later on and to my surprise he simply closed the ticket on 19.01.22. Aggrieved by the same I contacted customer care of IFB the same day and they gave me the mobile number of the ifb service incharge of my area and told that he will assist me. I called the service engineer on 20.01.22 and he told me that he will ensure the issue gets resolved in 2-3 days time. I waited and contacted him again on 23.01.21 & 24.01.21 and to my surprise, he was also not responding to my calls or messages. Aggrieved again i contacted customer care for escalation of the issue and another ticket no.[protected] was given to me stating that the technician would visit my house immediately. However even without contacting or visiting me, an update from ifb came that they are rescheduling the ticket to 29.01.22 as confirmed with me. IFB People and technicians are simply creating drama wasting our time and money without attending to the issue. I am raising this issue as a last attempt for resolution before approaching consumer forum of Ministry of Consumer Affairs to sue IFB for cheating customers by giving false assurances and looting customers money in the guise of AMC without acting on complaints. I deeply regret purchasing IFB product.

My IFB product is a top load washing machine, it is under warranty. The complaint is that spin is not working.

I have done multiple calls to the customer care for the last one month, only once an engineer visited and said he would come back when the part is available. There is no response after that.

We get sms confirmation on service requests but none visit the home for service. They call to know if the machine is under warranty and after knowing that it is covered, there is no further response.

I have registered a ticket - [protected] for my IFB washing machine - AW6501SB. The first complaint was registered on 11th January and there has been no action so far. I have escalated via the App and by calling the Help Desk as well, but other than registering new tickets for the same there is no follow up.

The washing machine - pulsator is spinning loose and requires a replacement. Please escalate this! This is very poor customer service by IFB.

My Machine is under AMC. I have raised a complain on 31st Dec Ticket Number [protected] which was closed from back end then again a Ticket Number [protected] was assigned on 5 Jan and daily I am calling to customer care for status they don't have status and don't give any resolution except that escalation will be raised and then they don't have status of earlier escalation every time new person will pick the phone and no body bother about customer grief or complain. Even they are not able to tell the date when it will be resolved and neither able to tell if I can get my AMC cancelled and get my machine repaired from outside.

It have 20 days machine has been shut down neither they are able to provide a alternate machine not able to get my machine repaired not able to cancel my AMC.

I feel cheated and harassed and thinking to buy a new machine and get the matter to consumer court.

Further I am calling to Mohit engineer and Rameshwar his supervisor but now they stopped picking phone.

Just got this forum and think of posting this. Don't buy any AMC which is expensive and worst service.

We bought Senator VXS 8 kg Front washing machine in October 2021 and in January 2022 it started giving burning smell from back of the machine and all shocks on the machine body.

With service technicians come inn he said the motor is faulty and cannot take the load and needs to be replaced.

I was really surprise, I bought IFB brand with great confidence as it will work more than 10 years with out any trouble...

I have purchased IFB Eva Aqua VX 5years back. Few days back machine made big noise and stopped. Registered a complaint with IFB customer care support they sent a service engineer. He said the drum needs to be replaced and it costs Rs.11000/-. This looks too expensive for replacing the drum. Request you to let me know if this is the approved cost of replacing the part by ifb?...

I have ordered a washing machine (Model TL-SDGH top loader) on 8th January 2022 and payment made through SBI credit card. My order was placed under order no. [protected] and the expected delivery date was 17 Jan 22. I have called your customer care twice but no satisfactory response from their end.
Kindly let me know the reason for the delayed shipment and also confirm the date of delivery of the product.

It was now cross to 17 days i have raised complain twice to IFB customer care but they are just giving me assurance and no service engineer visited in last 17 days. This is really pathetic client handing process of IFB post to sale.

Finally they have given me local service manager (ROHIT GUPTA) but he is not attending call and extend dates.

Finally i am fed up with ifb and it was my fault to trust on IFB company.

My service request [protected] is not attended still.
1. Reached customer support 3 times. Every time I get the same answer.
2. Address change given 2 times. Still not updated properly. Every time I call the support executive giving me old address and again I need to ask them to update it.
3. My IFB updates also not working. 3 times attempted even before calling support. Not getting updated.

Is IFB losing its credibility towards customer satisfaction? Is there any SLA followed or quality check done on the service network performance? I'm sorry to say I lost faith in IFB and going to stop recommending it to friends.

Authoritied service center not rectifying the issue of washing machine.

My washing machine is under repair I have booked for the IFB service person he came and checked and told drum and gasket are damaged, for replacement it would cost 7000rs, but he told us to go for AMC rs 3000rs after 45 days the same will be replaced for free of cost.
Just to tell all this he charged 590rs.. how fare is this. This is complete fraud how can you charge without doing any service.

We had purchased an IFB TL-RDW 6.5 KG AQUA washing machine back in 2018. Suddenly, in December of 2021, the machine started showcasing multiple problems. We have several issue regarding the carbon brush in the washing machine. The service center is not able to replace it saying that parts are not coming since one year now. This is really sad. A spare part which is costing around 150-300 Rs is not present and your team is asking to change the whole motor. This is so bad for the environment. The whole motor being discarded since of this spare part which is so common and also does not take so much of inventory or space!
Why is this done at IFB?

I bought a ifb automatic top load washing machine before 4-5 months. Machine didn't washed clothes properly. All dirt was found on clothes after wash. Plz resolve this solution.

Our IFB front load washing machine suddenly caught fire while it was operational.
Luckily we put out the fire before it could spread to other parts of the home. This is a really serious issue and one can think of the consequences if we had left the machine running and went out for a while.
The electronics and the front panel were completely burnt and the machine is clearly beyond repair.

I have IFB Dishwasher which is under AMC. On 22.12.21 the dishwasher stopped working and was giving shock when touched. I registered complaint on toll free number for service call. Two times technician visited but could not solve the problem he handled the dishwasher very shabbily and informed that power card has failed and needs replacement. He brought one card fitted it but machine didn't work. Then he informed that card has to come from Goa unit. But till today nothing has happened and my dish washer is not working. Please take up with IFB and resolve the issue.
