During second week of april 2106, when we noticed a light smoke with a burnt smell inside the drum at the end of washing found tiny pieces aside the rubber. Immediately called customer care (Ticket. [protected]) and they also attended next day itself. Then the problem started. The technician said, there was no problem but the drum seems to be slipped or some thing related to drum and advised to continue to use with very light load. It was fine for next wash and again we faced the same issue, then registered a complaint ([protected]), no one turned for a couple of weeks. Then again we raised a complaint and got the local service center number (Chennai). The person attended the call replied that they will look into it. Then next day a sr. Technician by name sebastian came and told that the drum to be replaced. Since the machine is under warranty, he said no charges applicable. We agreed. He did not turn for few more weeks. I kept on calling the service center for update and the reply was drum has been ordered, not yet received it or delay is supplying spares etc.. After a long war with them, he came a drum which did not fit into the machine. Then he said that the rubber has to changed along with the drum which would cost around rs. 1200 to 1300. We agreed, he dismantled the doors of the machine and left leaving few parts as it is (I have pictures of the same.)
He did not turn up for next couple of weeks! Then again the war started and i got the same reply from the service center. Meanwhile we found it very difficult in washing our clothes.. Pathetic : (.
Again many times spoke to the manager and customer care... (Ticket numbers : [protected], [protected]) we had a conference call with the technician and they assured that the issue will be resolved in the same day (14.07.2016) still the issue not resolved. We are struggling and facing difficult.
We are really worrying for chosen ifb as a trouble free brand.
I expect the company to look into this and take necessary action immediately.
I also gave a request for replacement of the machine, in case if there is nor spares available). Why should i suffer for more than three months?
Now, it is the companies responsibility to solve this issue.
