I own a ifb washig machine senorit in chennai [ bought in 2009]
During nov 2015 (ticket no :[protected] and [protected]) it got stopped and they told the complete board has gone down and switch burned. asked me to put amc so that they can replace.
I put an amc for around 4500.

Now during may again the machine stopped working (ticket no : [protected])
Initially the guy came and did something but it did not work.
Later i had put another complaint and he told board need to be changed (ticket no [protected])
But there was no response more than a week and saw my original complaint got closed.
The raised another one and another all closed in 1 or 2 days without no information (ticket nos [protected], [protected], [protected])

Then customer service gave service number and asked me to call ([protected])
They assured they will send a person with a new board. the person came installed board and ask me to check and call back.
But it was not working and was in same state.

Tried calling the service guy, he told he will bring another board. i wasn't satisfied with it as they are not finding the problem instead just changing the board
Called service center again they told will send a new person with new board. still they haven't sent. tried calling the service center today[protected] many times no one is picking the call.


Tried to book a new complaint, the customer service says "application is down and asked me to call after 4 hours" asked for any higher official number, nobody knows about it.


It have been around 2 months i have used the washing machine which is under amc. i might go to consumer forum and raise another compliant with these details.


Worst customer service. they don't know why a ticket is closed and without a reason. they don't know what the problem is.

In between these my registered number was not appearing in their application, every time i call they say we have updated but again its not there. what kind of application they are using.

Instead of regretting, can you provide your higher official numbers. I can deal directly with them.
Till to date my problem is not addressed.
Looks the issue is finally resolved. A new technician came 2 days back did a 5 min job and it works fine now. We will keep monitor of this.

    Perfect elena washing machine till the date i ventured into amc. The local franchise appointed by ifb has scraped by elena. Past 7 years was working properly, but after amc twice the motor and other parts were changed. Now past 2 days i am still waiting for the technician to call me/ attend to my complaint ticket number [protected]. I had literally called up 4 executives from ifb (Including area service manager, but did not attended) and also called upon 2-3 franchise technicians. My sincere request to ifb is to search a good local franchise. The present guys have just killed our machine.
    I still leave it to ifb management, but see that my machine starts working.

      During second week of april 2106, when we noticed a light smoke with a burnt smell inside the drum at the end of washing found tiny pieces aside the rubber. Immediately called customer care (Ticket. [protected]) and they also attended next day itself. Then the problem started. The technician said, there was no problem but the drum seems to be slipped or some thing related to drum and advised to continue to use with very light load. It was fine for next wash and again we faced the same issue, then registered a complaint ([protected]), no one turned for a couple of weeks. Then again we raised a complaint and got the local service center number (Chennai). The person attended the call replied that they will look into it. Then next day a sr. Technician by name sebastian came and told that the drum to be replaced. Since the machine is under warranty, he said no charges applicable. We agreed. He did not turn for few more weeks. I kept on calling the service center for update and the reply was drum has been ordered, not yet received it or delay is supplying spares etc.. After a long war with them, he came a drum which did not fit into the machine. Then he said that the rubber has to changed along with the drum which would cost around rs. 1200 to 1300. We agreed, he dismantled the doors of the machine and left leaving few parts as it is (I have pictures of the same.)
      He did not turn up for next couple of weeks! Then again the war started and i got the same reply from the service center. Meanwhile we found it very difficult in washing our clothes.. Pathetic : (.
      Again many times spoke to the manager and customer care... (Ticket numbers : [protected], [protected]) we had a conference call with the technician and they assured that the issue will be resolved in the same day (14.07.2016) still the issue not resolved. We are struggling and facing difficult.

      We are really worrying for chosen ifb as a trouble free brand.


      I expect the company to look into this and take necessary action immediately.
      I also gave a request for replacement of the machine, in case if there is nor spares available). Why should i suffer for more than three months?

      Now, it is the companies responsibility to solve this issue.

        I have compland 8 day before for my washer machine and still no action has been take is that you company gives services then dont sell your product u thing i am fool...           I registered my complain with ifb customer on 26th june. some part of my washing machine was spoil and the part was suppose to come from goa. today is the 12th july and still the part hasn't come. i spoke to mr ritesh mehra who happens to be the manager of ifb and he promised me that on 12th july the part will be available but when i called him today he says now it will come on monday.. he wasn't bothered to solve my problem and spoke to me with a lot of arrogance and full of attitude.. had he taken up my case on priority i am sure this delay wouldn't have had happened.. every time i call the customer care and keep saying in 2 days it will come but that 2 days never comes only.. on asking his office address he disconnected my call and never called back. on asking his senior colleagues no. he refused to give it to me. such is the service of ifb. i would spread this word that no one should ever purchase ifb products. even after promising they don't keep their words and speaks as if they doing a favour on us. there was apology from his side but kept arguing with me. if possible i would like to complain about his attitude to his boss. even they should know that their so called manager is actually not for to be a manager..

            मैंने दिनांक २८.०६.२०१२ को एक आई एफ बी की फ्रंट लोड वाशिग मशीन खरीदी थी जिसकी ४ साल की वारंटी थी जोकि 28 .06 2016 तक थी जनवरी २०१६ में मशीन में रगड़ने की आवाज आने लगी जिसकी शिकायत मैंने आई एफ बी के सर्विस सेंटर पर दर्ज कराइ सम्बंधित मैकेनिक आया और एक पावडर डालने हेतु देकर चला गया समस्या में राहत न मिलने पर मैंने पुनः शिकायत दर्ज दिनांक २७.०६ २०१६ को दर्ज कराई इस तिथि तक मशीन वारंटी में थी दिनांक ११.०७.२०१६ को सर्विस सेंटर से मैकेनिक आया और मशीन के कई पार्ट ख़राब होने की बात बताई तथा पार्ट बदलने पर भुगतान करना पड़ेगा इस तरह कहा बदलने वाले पार्ट में ड्रम, बियरिग, रबर सेट आदि. महोदय जब-जब मैंने पहले शिकायत दर्ज कराईं थी तब मशीन वारंटी अवधि में थी अब प्रार्थी अपने को ठगा महसूस कर रहा है इस सम्बन्ध में उचित कार्यवाही करने का कष्ट करे प्रार्थी से सम्बंधित विवरण निम्न है-

              My IFB washing machine is not working properly. Raised a complaint with IFB customer care vide complaint number [protected] on 06th July 2016.

              At the first place the CC has not recorded my complaint properly and also not informed the service center concerned with all the necessary details. The service center started calling me up since 09.07 but no body turned up till not at the appointed time. They say we are coming and I wait hours together but no one turns us.

              It is disgraceful on the part of IFB to have such a service agent at a prime locality in Hyderabad. SIMPLY LOUSY SERVICE FROM IFB.

                    Ifb not paying proper salaries to their demo executives due to that they stted threatening ladies about defaults of the machine... there main focus on cross sell products not on customer satisfaction and service things... they are allocating customer cases to very rash executives they dont know how to behave with ladies.. being such big brand in the world these sort issues will damage there prestige in the market
                    I purchased washing machine in jan'16 at the time demo executive cross selled almost for 3500/- again after 4 months machine got struckked i raised a complaint one executive by name thirupathi reddy from hyderabad came to solve the issue but is more focus on cross selling his company products not on customer satisfaction
                    Better i suggest all to avoid these sort non sense company products

                      I have raised a complaint thru customers. Care for washing machine which is not working.. Even it's only 6 months old..2 time service person came and saying different reasons.. Finally they said it's board problem.. But they didn't give proper solution.. For the past 1 n half months i am daily following up with customer care and service office [protected].. Totally my time is waring n my mac is idol.. Really i fed up with ifb product and services.. No response

                        I raised a complaint on the 07/06/2016 regarding my Microwave oven not functioning properly a week after which the service technician came to my place and took the defective piece saying he will bring a new part in a few days and fix it. A month repeated complaints to the customer care and calls to the service manager and branch manager the technician has not come bck nor has to issue been fixed.

                        I keep getting an excuse as the part is not available, and they it would arrive today and they will come tomorrow and fix it. My Microwave is still under warranty and is around 7 months old maybe a month or 2 more.

                        the customer care is not even ware as to which center is handling my issue and keep transferring it to other service centers inspite of me explaining to them that a part has been taken away by a technician from HARINIDHI ENTERPRISES from Wilson Garden in bangalore.

                          I am really frustrated with ifb customer service. I own a ifb microwave owen. Their representative was back o[censored]s to take annual maintenance contract and assured that any repairs in future will be taken care by ifb. However when the oven was not hearing anything i complained to them many times. Everytime they assure us that within 24 hrs own complain will be addressed. However each time a new technician visits own home looks at the oven and goes off. Putting us at high risk exposing to so many strangers. Then again i complain the same cycle continues without any action. I want my amc amount to be returned. Really very bad service of ifb.

                              My ifb washing machine ([protected]@700rpm) is under 2-years amc.inspite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine, the machine is totally out of order and as per engineer that part is out of stock. i contacted through tool free number. approx. 40 -45 time but it is vain. the manager at puducherry is not even attending the calls. i am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude. no higher officials. after undertaking the 2years-amc, ifb service manager (mr. praveen of puduchery branch)/service provider says machine is a old model for which no spare is available. if it is the case what is wrong in refunding the amc amount collected?. i have spent rs:2700/ with a local mechanic to make the machine ready.in fact ifb has to repay the amc amount+rs:2700 and a suitable amount which can not be defined/figured for the mental agony/torture for more than 1 month.

                                My ifb washing machine model elena dx is not working and i've booked a complaint with ifb and my complaint number is [protected]. A technician from adrija solution donnant, 34, ramtanu lahiri sarani, kolkata 700 053 visited my home on 30.06.2016 and said that the drum bearing of the machine and took rs. 345/- as service charge and went back promising to come on the very next day. Since then, their technicians have visited my home on two more days just to look at the machine. I have to say that the only thing they have done till date is just open the back cover and suggest that the drum bearing has to be changed. But they are yet to do anything about it. We are at our wit's end and hope that this complaint will help in solving the problem.

                                  I have purchased ifb ton inverter ac unit from vasant & co coimbatore on 23rd march 2016. Ever since installation the unit is not functioning properly and the service people are unable to diagnose and rectify the problem. This has become a real head ache for me in having gone for a worthless product. A dead investment for rs.40000/=. Umpteen number of calls to their toll free no for service has not yielded positive rectification. Last on june 5th 2016 the service peolpe have taken the pc circuit board of the unit and the same has not been replace till now. Enquiries to the service centre or the area manager are not answered. I am in a very helpless situation after having invested my hard earned savings. Please help me.

                                    I raised a complaint on 17-jul-2016 regarding damage in the drum and electric shock for my washing machine. the complaint number given to me was "[protected]".
                                    The service engineer visited my house, examined the machine and said that the drum has to be replaced. he asked that are we having amc done for this machine,
                                    I replied yes. the service engineer said that the drum will be replaced in two - three days, make sure that the amc document is ready while the drum is available.
                                    After that the service engineer left and he didn't return.

                                    On 30-jul-2016 i called ifb customer service regarding the complaint, they said its closed. i was surprised to hear that the complaint is closed without the issue
                                    Being resolved. then they took another complaint on same day and gave me new complaint number "[protected]". after raising the complaint no service engineer visited
                                    My house. the machine is still under electric shock and drum damaged condition. it's nearly 20-25 days since the complaint is registered.

                                    I request you to help as soon as possible, please.

                                    Replace the drum as promised. resolve the electric shock.inspect the machine thoroughly and replace the items which are under amc and about to get damaged.

                                    Today 11-Jul-2016 I called IFB customer care again. Again the previous complaint ([protected]) was cancelled saying that the customer has said the service engineer to visit on Friday. But I have never received any call from any service engineer of IFB. How cheap are the service engineers of IFB. I do not know why IFB is maintaining such franchise for providing the services to customers.

                                    A new complaint ([protected]) was registered by Mahesh from IFB customer care saying that the complaint is on emergency state. I do not know how long IFB will be playing with me.

                                      I am facing a problem more than 10 days but there is no solution till date.
                                      I lodge the complain on dated 27.06.2016 my complain no. 18016861 the service centre guys visit on next day and told the machine PCB is not working its need to replace till the time parts was not provided by the company to the service centre because the part will come from Goa it will take time. the company services after sales is very poor and worst. I never recommend to other buy IFB product.
