Raised the ticket on 17th june.

After multiple followup phone calls, a service guy came on 20th june. He said that pcb needs to be replaced.

There is no estimated date given by when the pcb will be replaced. I have to call up everytime to find more information. The lady on the phone is very rude, does not give specific anwers. Says the pcb can be replaced may be after 3-4 days.

The 'may be' answer does not help me. I need a definitive answer by when i will have my machine up and running.

Have heard of stories of horrible service from ifb from many people, experiencing it now.

Your service guys who answer the phone defintely need training on how to talk to customers

Will hesitate to go for any ifb products in the future.

    This is the second time I am facing an issue with your franchisee GRS Solutions, located at No: 392, 14th B Cross, 1st Main Road, Pai Layout, Bengaluru - 560016. Every time I raise a request, they quote an initial price and when they come for servicing and install a spare or an accessory, the price they charge is different from what they quoted initially. And when you point out that their initial quote was lesser, they simply behave rudely and straight away deny their original quote.

    Now this complaint is with reference to Ticket Number [protected], which was with reference to installation of a new washing machine. We had requested them to bring a stand and cover when coming for installation. They had quoted a price of INR 1550 for the stand and INR 640 for the cover when they had initially called. Now when they come for installation, they prepare an invoice (Invoice number:356) of INR 1740 for the stand and INR 800 for the cover. By the way, I checked on IFB appliances website also and the price quoted on your website also is INR 1550 and INR 640 only.

    Therefore, I guess your service franchisee is simply looting customers and additionally they are also behaving rudely. Please give us a choice of choosing the franchisee from whom we want service rather than leaving us to the whims of this devilish franchisee of yours.

    worst customer service. i wonder if they have any customer service at all
    I had a bad experience too with GRS solutions, Pai layout, Bangalore. They are authorised service centre for IFB. Their Technicians are highly incompetent & damaging appliance working parts while coming for service.

    My IFB washing machine was purchased in 2008, it was working perfectly without any techincal help or servicing until 2018. In 2018 techinican visited for service & henceforth I took up AMC, replaced some pipes, timer, etc. Now currently having taken 2 yrs comprehensive AMC which will expire in 2021.
    Few days back, I registered an issue with IFB customer care for water leaking while machine is in operation. At first a technician from GRS solutions, Pai layout,   Bangalore visited, he changed the suspension which was covered under AMC, he told to replace 2 rubber fittings which costed Rs.750 (not covered under AMC). After reassembling machine, found that water leaking problem is not solved! He opened machine again and found inside outlet pipe is leaking.
    Later he brought a replacement pipe from office, but it was not of correct size. So he put thread & tape & fixed the existing leaking pipe. When he assembled back the machine, WE found that the Start button has been damaged by him. The On/ off function had stopped functioning, & light always glowing. This button was working perfectly before he came to check the appliance! When we asked him to look into it, he never bothered & left & marked the ticket as Resolved!
    I raised the issue once again with customer care. A new technician visited & he pulled the machine out with lot of force, which caused the pipe connected to water supply at the back to dismantle & all water gushing out.
    He replaced the faulty outlet pipe with a new pipe, but never informed me that it is chargeable, i.e not covered under AMC. Next he tried to fix back the pipe that had opened at back & he was unable to fix it. He removed the Filter (aqua softener or so they call it), & informed that both pipe & filter needs to be changed as its threading is all gone!
    This issue was never there previously, he had pulled out the machine so roughly and caused this damage! And now we have to pay for his errors! We had already replaced this Filter back in Jan-2019. Not even 10 months over & now he is making us to purchase new filter again for Rs. 1850 just because he spoilt it and he is not able to fix it back. We would have easily managed with the existing filter another 5 years if not for his MISHANDLING!!!
    When I i telephoned the GRS solutions service manager, he guaranteed that filter functions for 2 yrs & definitely 1 yr+. He assured me that the unnecessary filter sale amount will be refunded back. However, when technician visited, he suggested to keep the new replaced filter, so in effect no refund of my Rs. 1850.

    We are very very disappointed with this type of service & causing a hole in customer pocket with technician MISHANDLING,   LACK OF KNOWLEDGE & SHEER LACK OF EXPERIENCE.
     
    What upsets me the most is that from when I bought the appliance in 2008 until 2018, machine worked perfectly without any issues. Even the filter worked 10 yrs for me without causing any issue.  Now they made me to change filter 2 times in span of 10 months!!!

    Ever since GRS solutions came to our service, we have ended up spending almost same amount as cost of appliance which we had paid Rs. 20, 000 (from 2018 to 2019- last 2 years time- GRS solutions charged us towards servicing, replacing parts, AMC, etc amounting to Rs. 18, 000).

    KIND ATTENTION TO OTHER CUSTOMERS::  if you happen to read this complaint, pls dont take up their AMC, its total waste of money and cheating customers.
    When they visit for service, they will damage perfectly working parts, ask us and infact convince us to change parts which are not covered under AMC. Total total waste of money!

      My complaint is now open for ~4 weeks now with ifb for a cloth dryer that is not working. I have repeatedly called the call center they tell me the agent have closed the complaint citing no response on mobile from our end. After reopening the complaint, everyday, they say someone will call me to address my issues, but till now there is not even a single call from them.

      I have follwoung numbers with me:

      They keep saying me that the part is yet to be received from h. O and most of the while they do not pick up the calls.

      I am very frustrated with their service and seems they do not maintain spares for their less running products. I will move to the authorities to please take penal actions them and claim damages if i continue to be deprived of the product i have paid for.

        I have raised my two complaints to ifb care via toll-free number on june 7th, 2016. They sent service person to visit my home & charged rs.300 for visiting charge & to be resolve within 7 working days. I have tried service person & customer care many times but still now (June 20th, 2016) didn't resolved my complaints.

          No response to my complaint of my Elite M/C under AMC inspite of registering Complaint&5 followups...Have been assured that some higher up in the Co would call&inform me about the status regarding the parts to be arranged to bring the machine to work at its optimum capacity...Lack of service has put paid the said Machine to its current 'sorry state of affairs.

            I'm really disappointed with the service offered by IFB care. Never ever expected this from a reputed brand. I'm damn sure that you guys will loose all your customers if you continue to do so.
            I have raised my complaint with respect to the oven that I brought from Unilet a year back stating it is not heating up. The issue is there with you guys from almost 2 months now and I have been calling up every time looking for someone to resolve this. But no proper response from any of your executives and every time they keep on repeating the same old thing... asking for 2 days time.
            I fed up of waiting. I request to get me connected with some senior person who really can do something in resolving my issue instead of asking for more time again.

Some door switch is required to be changed and that is not available in andhra pradesh. Microwave still non ops. Total unprofessional approach. Not expected from ifb.

                I am located at koperkhairne, navi mumbai

                I have been your washing macine user since 1993.
                In january 16 i had complained, to which your service agent delight services sent us enginner who opened the timer, the pump. The drum and few other things. Ultimately he reached to a decision that the machine 's pump had gone bad and so it had to be changed. So the next day and second hand pump was brought for the price of a new which i refuse to accept it. I, then had a talk with your area manager ms mayuri. After almost 7 days a new pump was brought and fixed. The next day when the machine was switched on the timer would not move beyond d. But as i left for official tour. I could only complain the same in april. Thereafter the endgineer from delight services came. And following parts were changed - the timer, the gaskette, the door. But the machine is not working. It doesn't go beyond d and now with weiard noises. This took place iaround second week of may. Therafter i have been comlaining to delight services. 3 enginneers have come to my place. The first one came, a novice fellow hhe could do nothing. Thereafter another engineer came after 7 days he also failed saying that a senior engineer will come. After 4-5 days another senior (I suppose) engineer visited. He said he will visit us again. Thereafter i have been calling delight services everyday for the past 5 days and each day i am promised that the engineer will come that day, but the same has failed.
                And i am sure that the timer that my timer was perfectly alright which the novice engineer has changed and taken money from me. I have spent 9500 till now
                To summarise the complain is for
                1 novice engineer
                2 repaired parts replaced and billed for new ones
                3 no timely service

                  Our washing machine is under amc. I have registered a compliant on may 27, the engineer visited mentioned they need to replace part to arrest the noise.
                  When called to customer care again on june 3, shocked to hear the ticket is closed without our consent. Again registered complaint, escalated to manager and they shared the techinician no. S in chennai - anand & suresh, both of them dont even respond to the calls made.

                  When called to customer care again on june 18, i was told that previous ticket is closed on june16. And asked to raise complaint again and the ticket no-[protected] is shared.

                  Will there be any professional ethics followed in ifb?. If yes, i expect someone from your company to take action against the technicians and resolve the complaint at the earliest.

                    We had called IFB service for a washing machine problem on April 25th. The service personnel (chennai local) came and said that the control board needs to be replaced. As per his suggestion we too AMC so that board can be replaced in 2-3 days. We started calling and enquiring after a week or so. After tens of attempts we were able to get across to them, but they only said that board will come in a couple of days and that they will call back. This went for weeks. Then we escalted to IFB through two mail ids and at two of their sites (ifbglobal and ifbappliances). One person called on Monday and after that no communication! For the last week now we are trying to reach to someone in IFB who can look at this. With such a brand name, it is utterly shameful to haev this kind of service.

                      I am in Trivandrum, kerala
                      For the last one month I have been trying to get my micro wave
                      repaired by IFB. 3 weeks back one person has come and checked.
                      He told he has to check about spares and gone. No response.
                      Local agency does not respond. No one gives status of
                      getting a spare if repair has to be done. In between they
                      thought it is for washing machine.

                      My online ticket numbers are

                      [protected] (6th June), [protected] (7th June)

                      IFB trivandrum is famous for short closing the complaint
                      without repairing. I had the experience many times, since
                      i struggle to get my washing machine repaired (on warrranty)
                      whenever problem comes. I decided to never buy any
                      IFB product in future.

                        I have purchased an amc worth rs 3920/- having the address anil, krishna bhavan, vallickavu clappana po karunagappally through your authourised service centre tmr systems, rana complex, madanada kollam. But i have not recieved the amc document yet. I contacted the ifb authorised service centre kollam over phone, but they say that they have not recieved the document yet.                           However after transfer from bathinda to hyderabad in may'2016, ifb hyderabad is not providing support for replacing defective motor of ifb machine citing that amc does not exist.

                          The following icr codes assigned for my id: 10311603, 4426169 and [protected]. I am not sure how to proceed. Despite getting into amc support, ifb is not providing support for defective washing machine for past 1 month. This is harrassment for the customer who is following up for support but not getting it. Bathinda service support is not providing amc papers to hyderabad office for providing support. The document provided me by ifb bathinda is not accepted as amc support document by ifb hyderabad.

                          I have been following up with ifb, hyderabad mr sampath [protected] and [protected] and bathinda ifb office[protected].

                          Kindly look into on priority.

                            I registered my complaint on June 10. The technician visited on June 11. He was in such a hurry that he did not explain what the problem was in detail neither did he give any estimate. I had to call customer care the next day and find out from the local service center about the problem. The PCB needed to be changed. This was on June 11 evening. the local service center person told that the part would be needed to order from the company and would take a couple of days and he would call to let me know the progress on Monday.

                            I gave a call on Monday and the replay was that the part has been ordered and we will do the work by June 15 Wednesday. Today when i again call up he says that since part comes from Goa its taking time and job cannot be done till Friday, June 17 2016.. I called up IFB customer care but they had no idea about the job progress...

                            lots of question now...
                            1. Does the IFB not care about the complaints that they get.. i.e. whether they are resolved or not? because i found it very dumb that the customer care executive was again going to escalate my query and provide me with local service center number again. Are these people really trained this bad?( forget that the person on the line was rude too)
                            2. If the service center technician put in a request fro the PCB part.. would it really take 4 days to get a part from GOA? these days we order from e- service and things come from as far as Bangalore within two days..

                            I am really frustrated with the service from IFB...

                              I have purchased IFB AC just 20 days back. The delivery received on time but the installation person came one day late. The installation was improper which lead to heavy water leakage in bedroom. Then complain process started. The man came after 3 days, make certain alignment but the leakage is not completely stopped. Then cooling effect reduced after 2/3 days. the AC started giving some noise. Complaints are registered but only promises are given from call center and nobody visits.

                              Service is very bad & quality of product is very poor.

                              Need help for further process.

                                I purchsed ifb neptune vx dishwasher just three week ago. When i pugged it in, the unit was giving shocks. The tifb echnician advised me to check the earthing and call him back. I paid 1500 inr to get the earth pits reconditioned and ensured earth resistance is less than 1 ohm. When i plugged it in again, it is still giving shocks. This is an electrocution hazard, so i decided not to use and place a call with ifb call center.

                                Now the fun begins. After repeated followups they finally sent a technician today. Lo and behold, i placed a complaint for dishwasher and they sent a washing machine technician. The call center advised me to contact ifb local support in hyd and gave me the numbers. The numbers are 100% always busy and simply can't be reached. I'm so frustrated i am thinking of legal recourse finally.

                                Is this a reputed appliance maker like ifb addresses the customer complaints? At this time, i really don't have any hope of ifb rising up to customer service needs. What will be my next step? I spent 50, 000 inr on buying the unit, stabilizer, stand, dish washing fluids and now i'm madder than hell that i got swindled. Ifb do you have any shame or sense of customer service?

                                  This is with regard to the service request that I placed on 31st May for my washing machine. The technician who contacted me had made an appointment but never turned up in-spite of repeated calls from my end and taking permission after agreeing to come upon a fixed time. I am tired of calling customer service since their response is the same every time without any effect! Yesterday out of the blue the representative had informed me that the request was closed and will be open again, which I was not aware of!!
                                  The only ticket number that i have pertaining to this complaint is [protected] and E126234 is the escalation number. The machine seems to be running away every time from the stand and gives a feel as though it would topple during spin cycle. It is physically difficult for me to hold on to it every time.
                                  If some action can be taken at the earliest, it would be very helpful.

                                    I never expected that Ifb products would be so useless. It's my biggest mistake to purchase IFB air conditioner. It's juz been 2months that I purchased this SplitAC n I m facing problems. And above this the customer care of IFB is useless actually they are so slow for follow up. It's been 5days that I did complaint but they didn't send any technician "Your ticket No. is 17942786. IFB CARE will get in touch with you shortly.                                       I bought ifb machine one month back. Demo guy didn't come in 15 days. When he came, there was not electricity point. I got ready electricity point installed.
                                      He came after 12 days on daily chase .He lied that he is coming but didn't come with in time committed by him. He reported to my are supervisor.
                                      The supervisor called me and misbehaved that he don't care if i have bought this machine 1 month back. He also threatened me that 'dikh mat jana jb mera banda demo dene aaega'.
                                      Is this the way ifb works and behave with customers. I really got frustrated.

                                        Problem: we have amc for the washing machine. May 20 it stopped spinning on may 22 we complained for the problem, after so many follow ups few people came they could not fix it and told some part is needed and after few days and again continuous follow up, few other people came 4-5 days later with new parts, still it was not fixed. Again another people came and same happened. Each day i am calling minimum 20 times a days for follow up, most of the time no one takes call and every time they come and not able to fix. We are very very frustrated almost a month it is not working. Worst part is when i call for 20 times, call is getting picked up only once or twice. I am wasting 2 -3 hours daily for just following up. Today when i called again came to know my request was already cancelled. Without fixing the problem how and why request is cancelled. If it is not fixed with in 2 days, i am going to escalate this problem.
