My ifb washing machine started having technical problem - leaking water from bottom of machine

In regards to this, contacted ifb customer care multiple times however not only my problem is solved but also received very poor customer service
First contacted ifb over phone on 11/3/16 then contacted multiple times since over phone was given other numbers to contact each time but received poor response and sometimes no response.

The issue right now is the warranty is ceasing tomorrow on 24/04/2016.
My concern is that ifb would decline to solve this problem after tomorrow

I would like my compliant to be appropriately responded immediately and solved as soon as possible

    I complained on 19/4 about Fridge display not working and cooling gone down. Ticket no. given: [protected]. No one has yet called or come to see my fridge. 5 days now. Every email I write, I get the standard reply, "We have also escalated the concern to our branch office to have it attended. Again regret the delay and inconvenience caused." IFB has no good service in Goa.

    I also have 2 A/Cs from IFB. Bought at the same time as the Fridge. I had to be after them for one year to get my 3 free services. Only managed to get one. My Fridge had no problem till now, but response to the complaint is still pending for the last 5 days.
    Dear IFB team, for the last six days I am getting emails telling me the same thing you are saying. I need action, not words.

      I purchased an automatic front loading washing machine senorita aqua sx 6.5 one year back. since few days, a foul smell is emanating fromthe machine .I agvve a complaint TKT NO: [protected] .after twodays a technician by name Vinay came to my house today at 5.00pm . He simply opened a small shutter located at the bottom cleaned with a tooth brush and then put a packet full of Descal Powder in tothe shelf meant for detergent powder . HE switched ON the machine ( kept the machine in express mode) and set the timer For 15mnts. I was busy with some guests at that time . the technician advised my wife taht the machine will automatically switch off and also not to put any clothes for washing for one day .the technician took my wife's signature without my knowledge and left the place . After some time my opened the door, she was shocked to note that the door was literally hanging. In this connection i wish to informyou that the technician mishandled the product and the company should take serious note of this and replace the door immediately free of cost else the matter will be taken seriously and will be taken to the consumer forum and the print media

        My wife salveena has lodged a complaint(Registration number[protected]
        regarding the drum of washing machine model elena vx on 8/3/2016 . They have promised to replace the drum with in 15 days.Now 44 days have passed and whenever we make a call to the the service centre their answer is " We will come tomorrow".Now we are fed up by hearing this answer.Among the ifb service centres in india the kozhikode service centre is the worst.Now we have decided to move to consumer court for a quick solution.

          I bought IFB WASHING MACHINE SENORITA SX @ 08:08:2012. And I jus hate the customer care people who make me to feel very irritating. If the service person was not available, they can jus say the truth, past 2 months I have been suffering that my machine was not working and every day I m jus calling to the care, and the people will say by that day the executive ll be at doorsteps but none of them present till the date is this the way they treat the customer, and do they think that we bought the product free of cost jus HATE it. And every day different person ll attend the call and I jus need to inform all the information from the first don't u have any database to store theses kind of information, and am I a radio to say the problem each and every day to each person o[censored]r CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES.

              I have registered a complaint about the ifb washing maching senorita model which is making an awfully loud noise when spinning and rincing. The complaint registered on 08.04.2016 and still not rectified. I got an id 1244145 from your customer service. Whenever i contacted the local ifb care office at kadavanthara, kochi, i am getting the reply that the technician will definitely come today itself. The same reply is continuing for the last two weeks till now it is not rectified. Please do the needful at the earliest.

                Ifb washing machine top load on amc for rubber n plastic parts is troubling since last seven months .given many complaints to customer service number[protected] till date no resolution provided and the problem is still worsening .already paid 2129.00/- in cash receipt number 2965 on 12/July/2015 but till date the problem is not solved.when enquired wit customer care they said the employee who serviced the machine is a fraud guy and he sacked, but the service man has broke the top load door of the machine, till date we hav not received any positive response from them please contact on my mobile number [protected] for further queries

                  We have purchased an IFB wasing machine before several years. When its warranty got over, company suggested me to purchase AMC for quick service.

                  As per the suggestion from the company, we had purchased AMC pack continuously year after year. In 2015, we missed its renewal & unfortunately machine got some technical problem. When we contacted company, service centre charged Rs. 1870 for rectifying it and again sold an AMC pack on 26/09/2015 on payment of Rs. 2394.

                  But in March 16, again my machine got some technical problem. I called up service centre, customer care but nobody responded. We also e-mailed a compalint on 3rd April. After several complaints on phone and mail, a technician came to us and suggested us to take 50% of the contract amount (Rs. 1197) back as company has discontined the model and unable to provide service of this model. This is funny like an insurance company is saying to take the premium back to its claimant as company is not able to provide the insured amount.

                  Its already more than one month, we are facing service issues after paying the amount of AMC.

                    We bought a brand new ifb washing machine on the 26th dec 2015. Trusting the brand ifb . But with in 3 months the machine stopped working.

                    I am not able to get it working even with in the warranty on it. I called the call center and they sent a mechanic who opened every thing and could not understand the problem and went away stating that he will come back.

                    Now we call the call center and they say some one will come but no one turns up. It is more than 10 days and we are not able to use the machine.

                    Now the only thing left for me to do is sell it as scrap... And share the experience on every blog available.

                    You may want to replace the machine as i trust it is the best brand available and should also have the best service.

                      I'm using senorita dx 5.5 for past 5 years. I raised a ticket (#[protected]) for the service on april 10th. And i've been assigned to a service man (Ph: +91 [protected]). In past 2 years of my booking for the service, first time i got a service man assigned for my ticket.
                      I'm working woman, i waited in my home for a week for the service by hearing the false confirmation provided by him.
                      Till date no one has turned up for the service. I need the serivice to be done this time !!! Provide a solution please.

                        I have purchased digital elite vx 7kg modal on 19 feb 2013. When machine was installed at my house, the water supply was not at proper height but your representative has claimed that it will work properly . But when your representative washed clothes for first time to test the machine it cuts one of our cloth.Then they changes the machine . But the problem persists. It keeps on cutting our clothes. But we ignored as we feel its just our assumption. As in starting it was cutting only some delicate clothes. But the problem keep on increasing. It starts cutting our other clothes also. During the visits of your representative we show them our cutted clothes also. But their response was not satisfactory. So time passes by as we were also busy in our routines. But now the problem become major. It torn our every second clothes. We have lost more than gains from this machine. So now please take some immediate steps. As we have learnt that ur company is good at after sale service . But we didnt find such. We have purchased this machine from garg electronics from patiala, punjab.Now we want please change our machine to mannual model . As it will work with the water height properly. Please do the necesssary steps. As we have allready suffered a lot.As your representative always suggest us to repair the machine . I dont have that much time to entertain all these problems again and again and suffer more losses. One more thing your representative was telling me on phone the that i have used the machine for 3 years and giving me idea about the cost of machine or what. But keep in mind my losses and suffering. I am frustated now.
                        Please take the action as soon as possible.. I hope you will solve my problem and change the machine.

                          The microwave's light bulb got fused. So i called and logged a complaint for it's replacement. I was having an amc. Even after 4 days there was no response from their side. So i called at their call centre and asked for the status. They said that the technician has called you several times and due to no response from our side, he din't come for the repair. I told them that i dint receive any call or message from the technician. So they said that they have accelerated the request and it would be resolved asap. I waited for 3 more days after that and called again. The status was same that they have called us but their was no response from our side. So i took the direct contact number of the technician and called him, but their was no response from his side. I called him continuously for 2 more days. After 2 days he finally picked the call and said that they have not received any complaint regarding this. Even on sharing the complaint number he was not able to track it. But he said that he will come and get the work done. I waited for him, but he dint show up and i kept on calling him and he dint receive the call. Call centre is still providing the same status. I don't know what to do. I paid about 3000 inr for amc and there is no response from them. They are so eager that their costumers get an amc but after that they provide no service. If their will not be any response from them within one more week, i have to approach for the consumer cell and fight for this legally.

                            I have a problem in my micro-oven which is no more heating properly.So I called customer care number provided by them on 20/3/16.They responded and said that our micro-oven's AMC is expired, so the customer care person told they will be sending some technician to solve the problem and will renew the AMC also.On 22/3/16, the technician Satish came to our house but only renewed the AMC without repairing the micro-oven.He told that he will be coming the next day to repair but didnt turned out.Then after 3-4 days I called the customer care and narrated the same problem of the Micro-oven not heating properly, they assured that they will be immediately sending the technician but didn't do any anything. Then I called after 2-3 days but the same result.And now its been a month the problem is not resolved.I want to return the product if after sales service is so very poor and unsatisfactory.

                              Sir/madame i called to the toll free no.[protected] on[protected] with complain no.[protected] for my problem that the machine is making noise and not cleaning properly, they said that they will send there mechanics within 24 hours.but they didn't came .then i called them twice on[protected] for the same reason but they said they send them soon. i call again for the third time they gave me another no. to call.my work was waited and i need to cure it soon .they said to talk to service manager of raipur mr.rashid -[protected] he didn't receive my call.i again call him he said to give the information and complain no. till[protected] no one came to repair the machine.after one week mechanic came to repair it but he said the machine parts are not available .

                              i have earlier done the EMC of the machine but it is it maintained .i request you to please have a check on it and make my machine back to work.

                                I have purchased ifb top load washing machine, model - tl65rcg on 02 august 2015.
                                Ifb with its fine engineering has installed level indicator in this model but right from the first day of installation ifb service engineer is not able to make a good level.
                                Following has been tried out by s.E :-
                                1) when level indicator brings to center the machine tilted to one side which can be seen with naked eye.
                                2) at present machine is levelled by s.E as per his experience and on starting the intial cycle when water enters tub the noise comes which could lead to breakage in future.
                                Conclusion :- as per my observation and even a verbal statement by s.E their is a manufacturing fault in this machine.As liquid level indicator should be at center and should coincidence with center of tub.
                                I suspect this problem can lead to abnormal wear and tear of parts or possibly breakage.
                                I have complained many times on ifb cust.Care number but of no use.
                                As machine is in warranty i request to exchange it with new machine.
                                Please note this defect is in knowledge of dealer from whom i have purchased.

                                  The Neptune DX machine was not working and was showing F5 error from 2.4.2016. Immediately i spoke to helpline people and they booked the complaint vide ticket No, [protected] on 2.4.2016

                                  But to my surprise upto 5.4.2016 nobody turned up to attend the fault or no calls.Again I have contacted the customer care number and as per suggestion i contacted the franchisee service centre MSK Associated Pondicherry in their land line no [protected].Since I have not received proper responsible reply, as suggested by your customer care executives i was trying to contact Mr.Shankar and also Mr.Praveen the Pondicherry area representative of IFB and my calls went unattended.Hence, on the same, i went to franchisee owner and informed him about the complaint. He said he will technicians on 6.4.2016. After my repeated calls, the two technicians came to my residence and opened the machine and closed it and started moving.
                                  When I asked about the problem, they replied, you contact our Manager.
                                  The same day(6.4.2016) I went to the franchaisee office and met the person in charge.He said, since his accountant gone on leave for his marriage, he could not do anything till 25th April.I pleaded to him. it is difficult to wait upto 25th.Then he said, I have to spend more than Rs.6000 and after my agreeing, he will try to close the issue as early as possible.
                                  From the day onwards, i am running pillar to post, contacting customercare, your Area reps and also visited the franchisee office but all my efforts went in air and no body is bothered to respond. Even I have sent two mails to your customer e mail ID.
                                  But, upto today(17.4.2016) nobody bothered to attend the defect and now i am wondering what to do further. I am very sorry to record here, i never come across such irresponsible attitude of your customer care.
                                  Again when I contacted your customer care on 16th April 2016, the person attended assured me he will escalate the issue and took up the matter to the senior level and issue will be closed and issued another complaint booking ticket number [protected]
                                  But after that also, nobody contacted us and the issue is pending.

                                  Hope, at least you will take suitable action, to attend the problem in the dish washer by deputing proper technicians.

                                  still the issue is not solved. instead they closed the complaint booked on 2.4.2016 vide their ticket no 1102071240.When i contacted their customer support, over phone, they allotted another number saying that first complaint was closed based on the false information given by the Franchisee MSK Associates, Lawspet, Pondicherry. This is the way IFB is functioning and when i Informed IFB to their customer care by E Mail, they are yet to reply.To day is the 18th day of my dishwahser went out of order. I am running pillar to post to solve this issue. Nobody from the IFB side, to inform me what exactly is the problem and why it is delayed. Is it not the duty of seller of a product to co ordinate properly with the customer. IFB is not following good practices to deal with the customers . Ultimately, as customer we are the sufferers .Hope, i will get solution for this problem through Indian consumer complaints forum. Please help us to get a remedy.I sincerely hope, your forum only last resort for me to solve this. I request your active interference and instruct IFB to take suitable action immediately.

                                  First i would like to thank india consumer complaint forum and also IFB senior officials at corporate office.
                                  The corporate people sent a technician on 22.4.2016 after 20 days.The technician came and attended the fault.He found it is only a minor issue and made machine to run without changing any of the parts, as was talking by the franchaisee MSK Associates, Lawspet.

                                  The ifb franchisee Mr.Krishnan, Shankar all along told us the parts electric kit and another part to be changef andvthe total cost will be around Rs
                                  10000.even though i agree to this, they dragged the matter for 20 days.You can very well undetstand they delayed the matter with ulterior motive.This is very much evident, when another technician from IFB, sent by corporate done the job without changing any parts.The Area Manager Mr.Praveen also, I apprehend, joined with the franchisee MSK Associates.This is evident, since he has not attended any of my phone calls except the one on 22.4.2016 after IFB corporate people interfered. This, the franchisee MSK Associates has done since i have not agreed for AMC

                                  I sincerely hope, you will understand the mental agony and waste of our time and money because of the fraudlant approach of this franchisee MSK Associates Lawspet, Pondicherry 605008(phone no [protected].)

                                  Even though my problem in my machine is solved now, i expect and hope, the senior officials at corporate IFB will look into this matter seriously or otherwise the franchisee MSK Assiciates will put other customers also into difficulties and thereby the immage of IFB will be spoiled.

                                  Especially for the Dish washer they do the same.


                                  Same problem is there in Bangalore also with the Franchise.

                                  Though they have changed the Franchise to a new one, the franchise is employing the old service people from the old Franchise and old habits of cheating does not change.

                                  Unless the new Franchise employs new people with integrity and moral this issue is going to continue.

                                  The Area manager also tries to down play until it is escalated.

                                    We have ordered a replacement of our faulty product on 09/04/2016. We were told the same will be done is 2-3 days. On tuesday, they sent a replacement, but the product was not the same but a different one. We were again promised replacement within 1-2 days but nothing happened. Nobody turned after that till day before yester. Yesterday morning i again called to make sure it gets delivered yesterday, as that was our last holiday for the week. I was promised that it will be delivered by evening along with demo but nothing happedned. I called in the evening and was given a number of the franchisee who didn't bother picking up the call. I called customer service again and i was assured delivery by 630 pm. I asked the customer service girl to call back to confirm after talking to so called technical team, she said she was not authorised and assured me to stay at home till 630 as it will be delivered by then and i will make sure that you don't have to call back for the same again. I postponed all my work to stay at home but to no avail. No one seems to be bothered to sort the issue. Pathetic customer service. We can't stay at home forever to see if IFB guys will come today and tomorrow and day after. But i guess your people don't care at all. First you sell faulty products and then the customer suffer forever for replacement. My cust id is 11378756. Complaint number is 17648294.                                         The technician repaired my washing machine and charged me for spare parts. He charged rs. 95 each for one kind of screw and rs. 65 each for another kind. When contacted customer care, they gave the contact number of some service manager who can confirm the actual price. Finally, i came to know that that i was charged 3 times the actual mrp.

                                        When i contacted the franchise who sent me the technician initially, they said that the screws are not from ifb, and so they charged that amount. When i got serious about putting in third party spare parts without giving me information, they said that they are ifb screws.

                                        The customer care isn't registering a complaint on call. I sent a mail, there's no response. I couldn't find any other escalation channel in their website.

                                        I'm attaching the bill given by the ifb authorized franchise.
