I have generated 3 complaints ticket numbers with IFB so far: 1) Ticket no. [protected] dt. 12-12-15: We informed him it was flooded during chennai floods. He replied, then it wont be covered under warranty. It comes under customer not taking care of the product. Then he checked machine and said, you can run the machine for 6 more months but it will be noisy is it ok? We replied"its all right". Then he said "due to water your display has been damaged and it must be changed". We answered, " ok, change it". Then he said "he dosn't have anything now, so he will return and change the display". We waited a week no news from him. so, we called "IFB" to track the status of the complaint. They said it has been closed, then generated 2nd complaint. 2) Ticket no. [protected] dt. 27-12-15: Service engineer came, opened the top lid and took photograph. Then he switched on the machine, and used the display from 00:00 to 00:04 and took photographs of it. Then he switched off the machine and again took photographs of the display. Then he opened the rear panel, took photographs, and left. Then again we called "IFB" to track the status of the complaint. They gave us number of the service centre assigned to our area. A lady attended the call and said, she won't send anyone unless, we agree to change both motor and display. Hence, we called "IFB" again to track our complaints status.They said it has been closed and no reason was given, then generated 3rd complaint. 3) [protected] dt.[protected]: He din't call and just came to our home, there were no gents at home so, was asked to come later after calling for appointment. Again called "IFB", they said they will escalate the issue and gave the number of manager. I called them, someone else picked the call and said they will get back to me before 05:30 pm,[protected]. Our machine has 4 years 100% warranty and 10 years spare parts warranty. Our LG refrigerator was flooded, we had repaired with their customer service. Its does not even have warranty. It only costed us around 500rs for the engineer visit. Our IFB washing machine has 4 years 100% warranty and 10 years spare parts warranty. Whatever repair they do, can be claimed from state govt. for the machines that got damaged due to floods. Its really frustrating service provided by IFB. It looks like a scam. And during first visit service engineer said motor and display will cost around 8000rs. I demand an explanation from "IFB" for their attitude towards customers and provide the service for the machine we bought from them.

    Our Customer ID is 813123 Based in Chennai we have top of the line IFB washing m/c and dishwasher. Their Chennai franchisee STAR Airconditioning cheated us and sold us 2 year AMC. Ever since the AMC their service response has become terrible and even after several weeks they do not send their technicians to attend to problems.Their logic seems to be- we have the customers money - now NO NEED to give them any service!! We have tried to speak to several senior Servce officials in STAR as well as in IFB, only to be given promises of "within 24 hours Sir!". This has gone on for several weeks now. I would request IFB, if they have any sense of shame left in them to refund our AMC contract amount of Rs 10, 830 immediately.

      My washing machine and microwave were some complaint . so i gave intimation to service station through tole free number and they gave ticket no 16881901 for washing machine and 16881907 for microwave on 16.11.2015. But one month passed no one is attend for complaint. After calling number of time technician came and inspected and washing machine door complaint and microwave touch board complaint. He said he will come within 2 days with spare parts.But no one is attended till today. I contacted to vjy branch phone no. [protected].They also not responding. I paid anual maintanance to washing maching on 13.04.2015 vide amc no.333 for Rs. 2124 to IFB industries ltd vijayawada branch. kindly pursue the matter sir.

        From six months machine z not repaired.we called hundred times, but no one is coming nd fixing tge problem. The machine is in amc.plz help me, i stay in chennai.i hve small 8month old child and i.dnt have any servant maid, it is.very diffucult to.wash clothes with hand. The service centre doesnt responds.they daily say today technician will.come but no one comes.

          I have Senorita Plus VX purchased last month Dec 05, 3015 . Such a latest model and 4D washing advanced feature etc. While purchasing shop guy suggested this is very good model. I spent almost 34k. Not even a month . Since beginning washing machine has problem. Door is not at working properly. "Door works whenever it wants". It wont get locked so easily and wont get opened easily. After washing clothes, I had to wait depending on door mercy when it gets opened. After that i have to use clothes. I raised complaint before 2 days back. No one called yet. Not even communicated atleast message like complaint number to mobile. Almost called customer care 6 times.           Issue is been resolved and happy that an expert from IFb visited and resolved . Also gave very good suggestions on usage.
          My request to IFB management is please kindly notify the customers regarding complaint details and date of Technician visit. Just simply registering complaint and routing to your service centres is not sufficient. Please update the customers with message regarding complaint number and when the technician going to visit etc.

            Hi. Ifb service is very poor. I have opted forAMC for dish washer service in the month of Aug 2015. My dish washer had a problem in the month of Sep 2015. After repeated follow up and complaint to service head of chennai, the problem was solved in the month of Nov 2015. Again the problem occurred in end of Nov 15, but due to rain the complaint was registered only on 9th Dec 2015. Still now the problem is not solved... And even after contacting the service head the issue is not solved... The complaint no is [protected]. Service person name is Santosh giving many excuses...not able to replace a small cable...

              We wish to inform you that we have an AMC with IFB for two years. We had made a payment of Rs.4900/- towards AMC. We had a problem with the on o ff switch in the washing m9achine and we had made a complaint to the customer care division, , Hyderabad during the beginning of December 2015 that the on/off switch in the washing machine was not working. After 10 days a technician, Mr. Rajesh from your Korattur Franchise office came but he was not knowledgeable to rectify the problem. He brought a wrong switch and so he informed that he would bring the correct switch the next day. He brought he correct switch after two days and charged us Rs.250/-. But he was not able to rectify the problem because he was not aware of how to connect the wires. He called some other technician over the phone and somehow connected the wires. But the next day when we tried to washthe ckithes, the machine stopped and the door got jammed.After week another technician, Mr. Munuswamy came and informed that the plus point was not working. /we called our electrician and checked, he informed that the washing machine line had tripped, due to the fact that the wires had been wrongly connected. We once again called your Hyderabad Office on 26th of December 2015 and informed of our situation and told them that our clothes were caught inside the machine since the door was jammed. We spoke to one Mr. Satish who informed that the problem would be rectified within 24 hours and gave the telephone number of Mr. Pandian, Branch Manager, but in vain since he never responded toany of our calls.. The next ay again we called up your Hyderabad Office and spoke to Mr. Suresh, who gave the number of Mr.Imaya varamban, /area Manager, but he also never responded to our numerous calls. Finally we spoke to Mr.Santosh of your Hyderabad Office today evening who has informed that the problem would be rectified within 24hours and informed that he would call us by 11 tomorrow morning. Sir, I would like to inform you that I have not seen any office treating customers in such a way as you hour customer service people and the franchisee office has treated us. It is more than 15 days since my clothes are caught inside the machine and no action has been taken by your franchisee office. You have put us into a lot of mental agony and we have nearly 40 to 50 calls. If this is going to continue we will be left with no alternative but to take legal action against your office and the franchise office. Please ensure that the problem is rectified immediately.

                Dear Team, I have taken AMC for 2 years. Already 11/2 years over. Till now I did not get any general service person attended.                   Dear Customer service I am writing this mail with great disappointment and frustration because of the difficulties my parents had to face after buying a dishwasher from Ifb As my parents are elderly with many medical problums, I bought a dishwasher from IFB, the latest model at that time, to help them with their daily living. This was way back in August 2014 when I was on my holiday from UK. Machine was promptly delivered and new plumbing was done from a 1000 litre tank as suggested and apparently a demo also was done and claimed that everything was working and fine .However when I visited my parents again in the beginning of 2015, I found that the machine was not working properly and infact the washing cycle stops in the middle every time and as my parents were not familiar with dishwashers they left it as such without using it as it was not serving the purpose. I have promptly contacted customer care for help to sort it out .An engineer came and checked everything and found that water pressure is not enough and suggested direct pipeline from the water tank . Plumbing work was done again with no difference to the outcome. I contacted IFB again .This time the engineer suggested to have an additional motor fitted to create enough water pressure, which could cost another[protected] rupees. He also promised to discuss this matter with his senior engineer in office as these machines are something not familiar to them As my leave had finished, I contacted the senior engineer over the phone, who had promised to sort this issue as soon as possible and sited motor problum as the possible cause .As the machine wasn't working right from the beginning, I had requested to take the machine back and refund my money or to replace with a working machine As the engineer failed to resolve the issue, I contacted the engineers of the IFB, over the phone from UK, several times with no solution to the problum .This is in addition to the contacts made by my parents Now I am visiting Trivandrum again from 17th of January 3016 to 4th of February. I would like clarify the following before considering taking this matter to next level 1. If the issues is not having enough water pressure for the dishwasher to work, then how come the engineer who installed and done the demo did not pick it up- then we could have return this machine straight away 2.Does this machine normally work with water tank connection?( in my case 1000 litres tank at the second floor) 3.why a pressure checking wasn't not done?                     I have purchased Senorita VX model Washing Machine with Customer ID No: 10188082 .The washing machine was worked successfully till 26th October-2015. It was suddenly stopped on 27, October, 2015 with the indication of’” TACO” on display panel and generated high vibrations. The same was intimated to Customer Care for which A technician attended and not solved the problem. I long awaited and reported the same thing to the Customer Care on 5th Dec 2015 with Complaint No:17015405. Then, another Technician attended the complaint and Tacho Motor was replaced. But, same problem was recurred during the trial run in presence of him. The problem is not resolved till now. I invested huge money on the washing machine as is reputed one and spent more time to contact your service personnel to get the problem resolved. In addition that Non availability of washing machine caused inconvenience and wasted my valuable time for its pursuance. It is regret to inform that the inability to resolve the problem in stipulated time and poor response degrade the reputation of your firm.

                        My Complain No-[protected] dated11/14/15 was cancelled without informing me and than 2nd Complain # [protected] 9 days before every day I am making 5-6 call ... Salvi . Santhel and Nathen ... everytime they gave false promises …. Technician will visit today by 1:00pm or 3:00 pm or 5:00pm or tomorrow or Past is not available, Staff is in meeting ... there is communication gap among the staff there is no common register where they can tell or check the status of any complain ... Whenever I called Nathan he handed over the phone to his junior … With this experience ... it is difficult to recommend anyone IFB Products.

                          I bought this IFB machine AW6501SB. We are facing issues from past 3 months with this machines . It keeps on putting additional stain on clothes . We called in IFB customer cars several times.Every time we called in they give us new ticket number they provide us new ticket number. If we ask about old ticket status there service center cancel tickets without intimating us. Apart from this all this started after IFB engineer came to service the Washing Machine. Now last time engineer visited 3 months back suggested change of drum however after that every time i raised a new request it gets canceled automatically without even informing us. the Complaint id i mentioned below was raised on 3rd Jan & i was told that it will be handled on priority basis but no one contacted us till now. client id :10673074 complaint id:17193439 I would like to know if there is any email address where i can escalate this issue.                             Till today no response is received from any IFB service center. The complaint was made on[protected] for repair of IFB SENATOR 6 Kg fully Automatic washing machine . Even after 20 days, no response is received and it is very much regretted. Kindly try to service the washing machine at the earliest, since we are finding very difficult to wash all cloths manually for the past 20 days. I hope the problem will be solved on priority.                             This is the third complaint i am registering with IFB. Till today no response is received from any IFB service center. The complaint was made on[protected] for repair of IFB SENATOR 6 Kg fully Automatic washing machine . Even after 26 days, no response is received and it is very much regretted. Kindly try to service the washing machine at the earliest, since we are finding very diff.cult to wash all cloths manually for the past 26 days. I hope the problem will be solved on priority. Though my machine is under AMC, I am ready to pay the charges if service is done immediately. For delay there must be some reasonable time limit, Not 26 days of delay in my case. IFB has lost its Trust on customer like me. Try to solve on priority, since delay is abnormal.

IFB Service person asking to either spent around Rs 9000 or give to him at scrap value…… Perhaps buying such a costly machine was a historical blunter ….                               Dear Sir,

                              Above machine was brought just 4 years back. It is used by a small family having just two members only. Right now it is in scrap condition. IFB Service person is telling either to give to him at scrap value or spend 75% of the cost of a new machine to repair!!!

                              Now there is a huge question mark regarding the quality of the washing machine produced, marketed and sold to me by IFB Industries Ltd.

                              Require either replacement or complete repair at manufacturers cost else I reserve the right to take this as a shameful matter of cheating by IFB Appliances.

                              If I do not get a positive response immediately, all available ways and means will be used to give wide publicity of this shameful cheating by IFB Industries Ltd…

                              I have been asked to spend Rs 9000 on a 4 year old rarely used washing machine…And nobody in IFB is prepared to advise me whether this machine is worth of spending that much amount….

                              There is serious concern regarding the quality of the machine sold by IFB. If, IFB, claiming to be the world leader in washing machine, is going to sell machines becoming scrap in 4 years…I feel creation of consumer awareness is essential on that count….

                              If IFB is not prepared to take responsibility of repairing a defective machine sold to me I reserve the right to have a massive campaign on all available Social Medias as Under with relevant documents….
                              IFB Washing Machines Will Become Scrap in years….

                                Dishwasher not working

Complaint was lodged on telephone and the service technician came after one week and after checking he told that the water pump is faulty and he will bring a new pump. So fa r he has not come and I don’t know whom to contact next....

                                Dear Sirs It is again with great disappointment that i am posting this. My first service request was lodged on 23rd Dec'15 vide Ticket # [protected] dated 23rd Dec'15. After repeatedly connecting with the provided franchisee and technician contacts, someone came home to check my washing machine after 5 days, but after a casual glance simply said that the tube connecting to the water source tap needs to be fixed so that the actual problem can then be identified once water supply was enabled. But he also said that he did not have that tube spare part and would get it from the franchisee office and return by evening. Nothing happened after that. Again we called next day, but no response. After repeated tries, the franchisee office finally responded saying they did not have spare part and will come once they have it. Again a long period of inactivity So i used the Online Web option to register my complaint/feedback on the 29th Dec'15. Again nothing happened. So after chasing the franchisee for some days again, finally a plumber technician was sent to our house who replaced the tube spare part charging Rs 150/=. He then said that the original washing machine problem needed to be looked into and that he was not the right technician for that. Again we had to call the franchisee to inform these updates and request for the original or any other technician to come and get our washing machine repaired. But again they said they will send some one and also inform us in next hour But till date no one has come. Y'day, i called the[protected] number and they informed that the ticket has been closed/canceled. When i informed that even after 2 weeks the problem has not been solved, he raised a new ticket # [protected] dated 4th Jan'15 and also escalated the problem at our insistence. Again we called the franchisee to get some technician to repair our problem. They said they will call back within an hour and arrange for repair. Now it is more than 24 hours since that call and NO ONE HAS TURNED UP. As i write this email, it is almost 15 days since the original complaint and my problem is still pending - I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THE WASHING MACHINE FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS. What kind of customer service is this - when will i be able to use my washing machine after repair. or will i be able to use it at all. Can someone look into this and ensure speedy redressal. I am now trying to find if there is any grievance committee or ombudsman to whom i can complain at this total lack of empathy and service mindedness.                                   I have a washing model mentioned above. I have been using this machine from past 8 yrs. Now there was a problem and raise a complaint with customer care and they have sent the technician he came saw and repaired it but in course of repairing he disturbed the door and needs to be replaced, i told ok do it he charged me some 450/- rupees and again within 10 days there was a problem with the door i called the customer-care and this time he told the inside rim is gone, he replaced and charged me Rs. 350/ and again the machine was not fine i called he charged me service charge Rs. 480. All these technicians were from M/s HARI SUSHMA SERVICES ( AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE FOR IFB) Here i want to mention that iam really fedup calling your customer care centre My machine is still not working and nobody is attending to it inspite of reminders over phone to Hari sushma services several times. This kind of service is not expected or accepted from company like IFB. Hence i request you to address my problem on priority.

                                    Bought IFB Washing machine (Senorita DX) from Vasanth & Co Tambaram, in 2010. Within three months of time had to replace the Circuit board under warranty which really lost the impression I had on IFB. Post replacement of the PCB had no issues until Dec'15. Issue Started on 17th Of Dec'15 wherein the machine starts and hauls within 5 minutes and thereon nothing will progress... The clothes inside the drum fully soaked in water to be cleared manually, with all the water left inside to be cleaned after. Complaints logged immediately and service tech reached a day after and replaced the PCB for Rs. 5150/- and promised that the PCB will be covered under warranty for 6 months. The very next day the same problem started with the machine. Again a complaint has been logged in and it took 5 days for the service tech to attend the call and during investigation he has damaged the drain plug, also added 3 packets of descaling powder for Rs. 430/- which is not relevant to the fault (The initial service tech has told that the drum is clean and doesn't require any descale agent) which is controversial. Again it took another 4 days for him to confirm that it is the problem with PCB and post his Manager's confirmation it will be getting replaced which made us to wait for another 3 days, but remains unattended. Again the service tech 1 attended the fault after we get into their office in person. But still the issue is not resolved... Really very pathetic situation... Very much dissatisfied with the customer service that IFB is providing...

                                      For the complaint no.[protected] of 19/11/2015, though rectified only on 8/1/2016, after a lapse of 50 days, no service compliance report was issued. When demanded the personal Sri E. Mani, who attended the service refused to issue. Hence, I may be provided with the service compliance report for my submission before Honble Consumer Court as demanded since complaint filed.

                                      Treat the matter ad most urgent. If not complied with my request, I may be forced to summon your Chennai top executive to appear before the court.
                                      When asked service compliance report for the complaint no.[protected], I was refused. Kindly arrange to issue me with the same as I need it for record.
