It is again with great disappointment that i am posting this. My first service request was lodged on 23rd Dec'15 vide Ticket # [protected] dated 23rd Dec'15. After repeatedly connecting with the provided franchisee and technician contacts, someone came home to check my washing machine after 5 days, but after a casual glance simply said that the tube connecting to the water source tap needs to be fixed so that the actual problem can then be identified once water supply was enabled. But he also said that he did not have that tube spare part and would get it from the franchisee office and return by evening. Nothing happened after that. Again we called next day, but no response. After repeated tries, the franchisee office finally responded saying they did not have spare part and will come once they have it. Again a long period of inactivity
So i used the Online Web option to register my complaint/feedback on the 29th Dec'15. Again nothing happened. So after chasing the franchisee for some days again, finally a plumber technician was sent to our house who replaced the tube spare part charging Rs 150/=. He then said that the original washing machine problem needed to be looked into and that he was not the right technician for that. Again we had to call the franchisee to inform these updates and request for the original or any other technician to come and get our washing machine repaired. But again they said they will send some one and also inform us in next hour
But till date no one has come. Y'day, i called the[protected] number and they informed that the ticket has been closed/canceled. When i informed that even after 2 weeks the problem has not been solved, he raised a new ticket # [protected] dated 4th Jan'15 and also escalated the problem at our insistence. Again we called the franchisee to get some technician to repair our problem. They said they will call back within an hour and arrange for repair. Now it is more than 24 hours since that call and NO ONE HAS TURNED UP.
As i write this email, it is almost 15 days since the original complaint and my problem is still pending - I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO USE THE WASHING MACHINE FOR THE LAST 2 WEEKS. What kind of customer service is this - when will i be able to use my washing machine after repair. or will i be able to use it at all.
Can someone look into this and ensure speedy redressal. I am now trying to find if there is any grievance committee or ombudsman to whom i can complain at this total lack of empathy and service mindedness. Please help

Dear Sir,
Above machine was brought just 4 years back. It is used by a small family having just two members only. Right now it is in scrap condition. IFB Service person is telling either to give to him at scrap value or spend 75% of the cost of a new machine to repair!!!
Now there is a huge question mark regarding the quality of the washing machine produced, marketed and sold to me by IFB Industries Ltd.
Require either replacement or complete repair at manufacturers cost else I reserve the right to take this as a shameful matter of cheating by IFB Appliances.
If I do not get a positive response immediately, all available ways and means will be used to give wide publicity of this shameful cheating by IFB Industries Ltd…
