Hi Team,

I have been using IFB product and never faced this issue earlier in any other city except AGRA. I am using IFB microwave oven (30SC2) which is under AMC and recently stopped working. we have raised an complaint on IFB portal on 28 Oct which was closed abruptly without resolving the issue. now IFB team has closed the recent ticket i.e. [protected] couple of times again without any contact and visit of technician to resolve the issue. AGRA lead is so unprofessional and rude. no phone calls has been made by IFB team or the service center and they have closed this service request again on 17th Nov 2021. Team please resolve this issue ASAP otherwise i will have to take action under consumer forum. i am really disappointed this time by IFB.

Thanks for the help and getting this issue fixed for now. We have done a sanity check and didnt see any issue as if now. We shall update or come back just in case of any issue seen.     Dear Sir / Madam,

    This is regarding ticket number [protected].. I have bought this IFB Washing machine executive plus 8.5kg from IFB on 18/12/2017 from IFB Industries limited. The product is not even 4 years old, but I had two issues already with that control board (Where the start / stop buttons reside). The first problem happened two years ago and the service engineer said we have to replace the control board and after sometime he tried cleaning it and the washing machine started to work again. Again now over the last month or so, the start/stop switches stopped to work intermittently and wash times used increase as machine would pause automatically and run again. I called the IFB customer care for support again. The engineer visited our place and said the control board has to be changed .. Overall I am happy with the washing machine wash quality, but how come in just 4 years, there will be problem with that control board area, we don’t touch with water and operate softly.

    Is this a product defect, where the control buttons keep giving problems ?? and every time I had to spend some 3000 rupees towards replacing the control boards (on top of paying 40, 000 for washing machine), as I was told that plastics are not covered under warranty. How fair is this ?? I have bought IFB for its quality and durability, if this the durability that we are talking up, I am really thinking whether I made wrong decision to go for IFB washing machine. If the company says the product has 4 years warranty and it has bold stickers stating that on washing machine, how come only some parts are covered /while others we end up paying!!! Is this way of ripping of customers in unethical way ??

    Paying is one part, but is this quality of IFB product, where the product cannot withstand 4 years (in this 4 years, two times we had issues already) . Would appreciate if customer care team escalate this appropriate product/quality teams inside . To be honest, I am one really unhappy customer

        I purchased a IFB washing machine 3 years before and myself submitted a service complaint on 18.10.2021 regarding some smoke appear. No respect from service centre. Once again I remember my complaint on 22.10.2021. After that on 23.10.2021 a service person attended and reported that charge the drum and give me 15 days time to order drum also change the rubber and that’s CD. Rs. 2300/- should after service. But no response more than 40 days. I got more stressed about your service. Thank u

          I had requested to purchase AMC with rubber ...technician visited my home after month of request ..he checked machine and I paid ₹ 3780 for amc and he given sum simple slip ...after almost 7 days of payment I recieved and mail of Amc but that amc was without rubber when I asked manager he told we can't give amc with rubber but he had taken payment for with rubber amc ...manger is sayiny u wil get refund for balance amount ...and then I called customer care they saying with rubber amc is not applicable in Karnataka ...I don't understand when amc with rubber is showing on their website ...why this different rules with Karnataka...I felt ifb playing with its customer ... regret for buying ifb machine. I feel ifb cheated me ...when ur taking amount for with rubber amc why u giving without rubber .don't u need to explain customer before taking amount etc...feeling cheated worst service ...never ever purchase again ...

            Hello,

            I have IFB microwave 30frc2 latest model, in reference to this is my 3rd Ticket# [protected] which still unresolved from last 4 to 5 month. Whenever i am use steam cleaning functioning to clean my oven after the function gets complete and than after 10-15 min when i again use my oven our Main switch of electric board tripp immediately and this keep happening till 1-2 day i cannot use it.

            In referencing below i have attached 2 short video to explain my complaint, everytime i raise a complaint your agent visit after 3-4 day and till the time issue get automatically resolved and i never get this problem resolved till date.

            If the steam cleaning functioning is what problem occurred than why this functionality is being provided in a latest model. Also i am using IFB microclean appliances cleaner spray.

            Very poor service, worst experience with IFB I will not gonna recommend anyone else to go for IFB product in future. Even after waited for long no resolution for more than 7 days when you live in metro city like Ahemdabad.

            This is not my first complaint with your product, initially when i recieved product it feels a company faulty product. There are more 4-5 tickets raised till date no resolution and your technician are not even identify the problems and always keep switching complaint to 1 person to other and customer keep waiting with response or call back for the next Acton.

            Without any resolution request has been cancelled from your end this is fraud, I will add this all conversation and screenshot to social media and will do what i can, I have received faulty piece and no one care for customers complaint simple rejecting customer complaint.

            I hope this can resolve my issue.

                Warranty issue

                I had purchased ifb washing machine 3 years ago. The washing machine has 4 years super warranty and 10 years spares support. Every year ifb is providing maintenance service to the machine. But every year they are billing me rs.1800 to rs.2200 for water softener unit and drum cleaning power.
                Whereas washing machine was supplied to me with water softener and as such water softener is part and parcel of machine and same falls under warranty...

                Our washing machine's door lock has been compromised. For a replacement, we've contacted local IFB Authorised service center which is SRI TIRUMALA SERVICES. The breakdown of the charge is as below
                DOOR LOCK - 1250/-
                SERVICE CHARGE - 590/-
                I tried to contact the customer care numbers available on the official website "ifbappliances.com" but it resulted out that those numbers didn't exist. I would really like to know why door lock costs 1250rs when it is available for 520rs on an e-commerce website. I would also like to know why the service charge is 590rs and not any less, since the work has been done is very very minimal. I request to know why it costs so much to replace a spare part?

                  This is with reference to the IFB Washing Machine DIVA AQUA SX purchased by me on June 22, 2021. This machine has not been working since November 13, 2021 as water was not being let in to the machine at the start of the wash cycles and I had registered the complaint through IFB customer care number (IFB Ticket No. [protected]). The machine was first attended by the technician from Neo Agencies, Mumbai on November 15, 2021. The technician said there is no issue with the machine and reset the machine and left. The machine ran one cycle on that day and from November 16, 2021 it stopped working. On my reporting another technician visited from Neo Agency and said that water inlet valve/feed valve is damaged and has to be replaced and placed order for the replacement of the valve. On November 20, 2021 a third technician visited from Neo Agency and replaced the valve. Still the machine did not work and he has advised that the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) of the machine is faulty and has to be replaced. On being asked about the differing reasons for the fault identified by the different technicians, he said that we should not worry about the replacement of the parts as the machine is under warranty.

                  I am terribly shocked with the quality of IFB Washing Machine DIVA AQUA SX sold to me by IFB and the quality of service rendered by IFB technicians at Neo Agencies, Mumbai. As serious issues with the working of the washing machine has developed in the fifth month of the purchase itself, I demand that IFB do the needful to replace the washing machine with a new one immediately and remove this faulty washing machine from my premises, at the earliest. I am not willing to settle for anything less than the replacement of the faulty washing machine with a new one by IFB.

                  Today i.e. IFB deputed technician from Neo Agencies, Mumbai and replaced the PCB of the machine. The machine commenced one was cycle in the technician’s presence. Before his leaving the cycle was aborted by him and a drain cycle was started, which ended after he left. After few fours we tried to wash clothes in the machine using mixed fabrics cycle and the machine did not commence the cycle at all. Thus the fault with the machine still continues after the visit of the fourth technician and replacement of three parts including the PCB.IFB was requested by me over mail for the full refund of the price I paid for this machine and removal of this faulty machine from my premises as I lost trust in the brand and their assurances. No response has been received from IFB. I guess this is the preference IFB places to the customer’s perspectives and needs. For me, a full-time working professional, with no domestic help in this pandemic situation, the additional chore of manual washing of a family’s daily clothes is a grave concern that hampers my daily schedule. I don’t have any inclination to prolong this agony of having a faulty machine and dealing with a company like IFB which seems to be least bothered about customer service.

                  Today i.e. November 26, 2021 a fifth technician came and did repair the machine. Thereafter one cycle was started which stopped after around 30 minutes of operation without completing the cycle. The machine is not working thereafter.
                  I reiterate my request to IFB to refund the amount I paid for this machine and to remove this faulty machine from my house by tomorrow. The act of IFB in prolonging this matter has led to great inconvenience to me as well as exposing my family and me to the risk of catching an infection in this pandemic situation by allowing entry to the technicians repeatedly for hours together into the house.

                    Hi Team,

                    It is really disappointing to report that am having a terrible experience with the service delay.

                    Service engineer attended a service on 17 Sep 2021 recommended drum and rubber change. I paid Rs. 2850 for rubber change as it is not covered in AMC.

                    Engineer gave a tentative schedule of one week time to change drum and rubber but i did not receive any update.

                    I reached out to the services (Emerald Services, Nesapakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu) several times but every time the answer is "we have logged the request" but no progress with so many excuses every time. In one instance, they gave a reason saying that the drum received was damaged and requested be raised again.

                    Finally, they gave a schedule for last Wednesday but nothing happened and no update was received until now.

                        IFB Washing Front loaded Machine Industries do not have technician of their own but hire services from venders who cheat us with replacement of its parts which are not original at high price Rs 8450/- of which I have the bill. Tried calling them again within few months for the same fault but are not ready to rectify their own fault, at their own cost, asking for more money. Kindly look into it the earliest.

                          Service request no. [protected] made on 11.11.2021 is still pending to be resolved. Service engineer visited on the same day and said he will be placing order for gear box in the top loading washing machine which is to be changed.                             Have registered a complaint and technician visited and he said had to replace the Door interlock needs to replaced and It would be costing 2450 and there won't be any MRP on the item and it is already used one somewhere. Same item I can found in Amazon with around 700 to 800 INR. On top of it, technician wouldn't share the Bill as well. He didn't even checked the machine but he is scolding and demanding money. On top of fit, his manager also called and started using abusive languages. I'd to block his number as it was very embarrassing to listen to such mails.

                              I registered one complaint on July 2021 for my microwave oven. After continuous follow-up and phone calls, they managed to fix the issue by end of Oct. It took around 4 months, now it's again the same complaint. The service center people are not attending to my request. I paid around 5334 Rs for the service. And I got a handwritten bill (attached). The bill they provided doesn't have any MRP, tax or GST.

                              I fed up calling the service center on a daily basis and I would like to refund the service cost they charged me.

                                  we have purchased IFB VX ID washing machine around 2018. Till now technician visited my home 5 times only. My washing is not working since 2 months . I tried to contact with customer care so many times @[protected] and they given Franchises number of Mrs Mansi .. Till no no service provided. Really I can say that worst service from IFB. Now I m going all this information on social media don’t buy Ifb Product and also filling case in consumer court

                                    I brought a microwave oven from IFB with 1 year warranty and the touchpad was not working after the 2nd day after warranty period I registered for service and everything was done now the service agent isn't providing necessary bill or MRP label for the accessory and demanding money saying it was the price of 2840/- how can we know what was the original cost of accessories?

                                    And when it comes to service cost even when just agent comes and sees whether the appliance is working or not is it worth 390/- when we already told touchpad was not working? It happened to me earlier.
