Complaint ID 848267 The above reference complaint was registered on 5th Jan 2015, after a week time the call was attended on 12th Jan 2015, but the call was kept pending for last 15 days due to non-availability of spares or xyz reason.. The response from service provider is not satisfied, hence we would advise you to intervene in this matter. The machine model is ELENA, it is under service contract since 19-Nov-2014 for next two years.     I P.John Babu-[protected] purchase IFB 23SC3 23 L Convection Microwave on Saturday 24.01.2015 received though Flip cart.On before day only installation registered i got SMS also. Till now means 30.01.2015 nearly one week the demo has not happened.Every time IFB taking complaint only... but no result. We would like to inform you that we have scheduled your Installation and Demo for the following item in your Order OD[protected] Above sentence received mail on -Jan-24.1.15 May be IFB testing customer's patience... very BAD service ... With out demo&installation how can we use this product For any feedback send to mail ID- [protected]@gmail.com

      Fabulous revert ever received.IFB company representative called me up today Morning and told that they are reversing back the transaction made on FlipCart for my Microwave and they will Take Back The Product . Hopping IFB don't have Demo Team for their products. Awaiting a revert or Demo Appointment for Tomorrow. Actual Complaint Date : 29-Jan-2015 Hi, I have purchase "IFB 25SC4 25 L Convection Microwave Oven" on 23-Jan-2015. As per after delivery of product demo and installation are provide within 48 hours, but not any guy are coming from my location. This is very poor service and customer dissaticfaction.         Please refer my complaint No. 14640024 dated 6/1/2015 and 14648451 dt. 7/1/15 Please read below mentioned points carefully. IFB technician Mr. Suraj Singh Phone no. [protected] visted side on 13/1/15 and 17/1/15. Rectified problem but still machines are defective 1) IFB technicians are not qualified. 2) After sale service is pathetic 3) IFB technician give quotation of the good parts and not of defective parts 4) After changing the part he accepted mistake and says that part which is replaced is not defective but some other part is defective. 5) Again he sends the correct quotation 6) This process took too much time. 7) The cheque was ready of wrong parts as per quotation. Now we cancelled the the cheque make the new cheque and sent for signature to corporate office Bengalore. 8) Now IFB technician says I will remove the parts if you not give payment on the spot. 9) After 4 to 5 days he calls and say I am coming to remove the parts. 10) I requested him that do not worry about payment The delay hapend because of your wrong quotation and wrong service 11) He says next time I will see how you get our service.. 12) Corrected cheque of Enigma is ready on 27/1/2015 But he did not pick up the phone I want to inform them to collect the cheque . 13) Now the repaired machines are not working to whom should I complaint this matter. Kindly Guide

        What kind of service IFB is providing. Only collecting payments, Ridicules

          The company person gave a filter for 2500 and gave warranty for five years . But it did not work for three months when gave a complaint again the service person told to change the filter because it is not ifb company rectified filter but that machine filter was given by ur service person .This company has no care after they sell there things very bad company .

          I saw an error in my machine. Water was locked. Therefore I called the technician.

          Technician told us to fix a new filter without
          even checking the problem in the machine. He fixed the new filter and took the old one with him. He said, it's mandatory to change the filter every 1 1/2 years. He got the money too. I regret why I ever bought this Ifb washing machine. Service is very poor.

          Though, I have a warranty, nothing has been covered in warranty.
          Their motive is only to sell whatever they have. Technician visited after 2 1/2 years in spite of calling them so many times. Very
          upset.

          That to installation guy is black mailing us like you don't get 100% warranty, if you don't buy these products. he is a salesman or installation guy. asking me to buy double filter with 3 years warranty. if you don't buy descale we don't give warranty to drum. if you don't buy stabilizer we don't give warranty to electric short circuits. then what you'll cover for warranty. where voltage protection. remove voltage protection etc from product information page.
          i bought total 3 IFB washing machines least month very bad support.

            r/s i am an ardent customer of IFB. I have bought a microwave oven (30SC3)on 22nd sept 2014 from your dealer IFB Point bhilai (C.G) .It bears Sr. No.[protected] & Mf.Yr.2011. We had problems with your appl. regularly as (01) on 09/12 /14 the M/C stopped working. Tkt.# 14435096 . It was repaired on 24/12/14. i.e after 15 days. (02) on 01/01/15 again the M/C stopped working.Tkt.#14604263. It was repaired on 20/01/15, (i.e after 20 days) and i was again assured firmly that it will work perfectly now..but... (03) on 28/01/15 .Tkt# 14795606, it again started malfunctioning in a new way i.e it has started restarting itself even after its set time is complete occasionally, and its not been attended till dt. sir, i am very sorry to infer that firstly i have only used the m/c for only for 2 months of 4 months i had bought it. secondly, i am starting to believe that i have been sold an old faulty M/C manufactured 4 yrs. earlier deliberately. otherwise why a brand like IFB would not replace a M/c that has been having problems repeatedly expecting your early interception BHUDEB DAS Ad. 5/a, str.04 sec .02 Bhilai (C.G) 490001.

                After exhausting my energy in following up with the head of AMC services at Madurai daily, this is the 2nd time, I am lodging the compliant in Web, to capture the attention of the senior officials of this company. I have entered into AMC with IFB- (for Micro Oven) for 2 years(AMC No 4180 dated 30 05 2014—Madurai Division). Ever since, I had entered into the AMC with IFB, the my Micro Oven is under frequent break down. I am residing at Madurai- Chokkikulam. My complaint number is 12014801 dated 16.12.14. During the last complaint made by me, the technicians attended the same after continuous follow up. After repair, the machine worked for just few hours alone. Once again, the follow up has started. There are 3 point contact references given. One is Madurai, another is Coimbatore and final authority is Chennai. Total confusion prevails, as to who is really responsible for carrying out the repair relating to Madurai Jurisdiction. I am fed up, the way in which, the service complaints are handled. IFB(Micro Oven) –AMC SERVICES ARE TOTALLY DEAD AT MADURAI. Request the higher officials of this company to intervene at least by now and resolve it. Needless to mention, each and every customer, who had entered into AMC contract with Madurai service branch is facing the similar problem. Only few customers, like me, are representing this, on behalf of entire Madurai Region. The AMC services are extremely worst & highly deplorable at Madurai. Can the top officials of this company furnish their direct contact numbers in Web, for the consumers to represent their grievances?. Thanks, S. Ramaswamy

                    Sir/madam, Since I am a customer of IFB washing machine from last 38 years, Your customer service is the worst and a pathetic service which you are providing and for what reason you people have a "CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER" which do not help the customer and repeatedly asking again and again the same question in spite of mentioning the specific problem, if the line gets connected to the customer care those people will give a list of their Technician numbers CHIRANJEEVI and SUNIL(both who took the money unncessarily from us and has been absconding), MOHAN, SRIDHAR, HARISH, UMESH, PRASHANTH, all these technicians which you have kept in your company are of waste who are cheating us these people are not suitable for your company . If this continues we will be taking a severe action which may spoil your company's name . Please take severe action on all your technicians who are ready to cheat many of your other IFB customers . It is declared that your's is the worst customer service which i have been faced and i suggest anybody who want to buy IFB product please don't go coz the customer care is the worst you may face in future.I want you to take a severe action on CHIRANJEEVI and SUNIL both who took the money and has been misused absconding and has been till now, if this continues with other customer, think of your company's future and the name.

                      Respected Sir, I have purchased two products of IFB on 20.01.2015. One is Washing Machine (6.5 kg.), bearing Invoice No. 12/SA/1415/19258 and the other is Micro Oven (30 litres) bearing Invoice No. 12/SA/1415/19256 from Great Eastern Trading Co., Garia Branch, 433, Garia Main Road, Kolkata-700084, W.B. I have contacted IFB Customer Care Services over phone number of times and as per their advice Kolkata based service centres also. I have requested Great Eastern, Garia Branch also. But all are in vain. Till date no IFB representative has attended for demonstration. I would, therefore, earnestly request your personal intervention towards the following : 1. Pl. help me and take needful action so that IFB representative attends for demonstration/installation immediately. 2. Take this matter to the notice of the highest authority of IFB. 3. Great Eastern Trading Co., Garia Branch should be banned to sell any IFB Product as they are not taking any initiative. Your necessary action in this matter shall be highly appreciated.                         We have taken 2 years AMC for IFB Senator Front Loading washing machine with the hope that IFB will attend to the service complaints on a timely basis. We have logged a complaint on Dec 23, 2014 and it is over 1 month since the complaint and there has been no progress. We have been following up with the company who kept promising repair on several dates but nothing happened. Lastly we spoke with Mr. Suraj, who is the Zonal Manager, Bangalore the senior most person in the services chain, who promised that the part was available and that they would replace it on Jan 23, 2015. Now Mr. Suraj himself does not attend to our calls. I have never seen any company with callous attitude towards a customer complaint and with the senior most person at IFB himself is demonstrating such attitude, we don't know who else to approach now.

                          I have lodged a complaint as the microwave is not working on 7th jan 2015 complain number 14647230. Technician came to check and said need to change parts but after that they said parts are not available and now its almost 20 days they have left my microwave open in the kitchen. Now every day i am calling and they are saying will get back to you in the evening but no way. Every day I am speaking to new new managers I am tired of explaining my problem.                             Gentlemen, I am having IFB Executive Plus washing machine. Of late unbearable sound is emanating from the machine when it is washing the clothes especially between cycle D-F-G. I filed my complaint to customer care number[protected] on 17.1.2015. They gave my complaint No. as [protected]. But till date nobody turned up to fix the problem and correct it. When I contacted them over Phone No.[protected] they informed that the work is allotted to one of the technician and he will come and attend the same. Till date no body turned up. Within a period of one year I have changed the drum, outer cover, tub and shock absorber. But still the sound is emanating while the machine performs its function. When the technician visited on previous occasion he told that since bearing is changed the sound will come and it will subside after one week. But there is no improvement. Please take necessary action to rectify the problem or let them say the problem is not rectifiable.

                                After spending close to 50, 000 rupees on a combo washer/dryer unit i have faced tremendous issues in the last six months. Everytime a board needs to be replaced and because these units are sold low in numbers in this region parts are hard to get. Therefore, the customer suffers by waiting for parts to be sent from panaji for three weeks minimum. This is a four year warranty unit and i have already replaced the side board, front panel board, and the lock switch. Now it is showing an error e8. Here is the latest ticket number:12055719

                                The local technician came and advised that the front lint collector is leaking and the motor is sparking. Another four more weeks the washing machine will be unusable. If there is anyone reading this please reconsider buying IFB front loading washing machines. My unit is 3.5 years old and is under warranty; however, each replacement takes 3-4 weeks for parts to reach an important city like Trivandrum being the capital of Kerala. So if I add up the five component malfunctions over the last year I have lost almost 16-20 weeks of my washing machine's full functionality. This is close to half a year. Case numbers as far as I have kept my personal records can be provided to demonstrate the integrity of my claim.
                                This is the poorest support i have received from a reputed organization such as ifb. My ticket was closed one day prior to the actual date of delivery of the repaired machine. Upon delivery i was asked to unload the machine from the auto-tempo due to lack of manpower at the regional franchise that was servicing the machine. When i refused the delivery was moved to the next day. At the time of pickup the franchise complained that due to low margin on warranty servicing and asked if i could pay for the washing machine pickup for overhauling at their facility.

                                Latest status is that it has been running but upon delivery a hose was missing and when asked they mentioned that the hose should have remained connected within the machine to capture bubble formation and it was due to unknown reason it was disconnected (Maybe poor installation) that dripped the water onto the motor causing it to be completely replaced.

                                Please never buy ifb. This is a 3.8 year unit and now they are encouraging me to take amc. I plead with others reading this never buy their units especially their units that sell less in number. I am sorry to write this but we as a family suffered a lot. If you look at the washing machine it looks like an aged machine.

                                The only person i would like to give some credit is to the local ifb manager who helped me push component replacements and service pickups.
                                I am also writing this for the benefit of any families returning from abroad with more than two children and settling in India that the experience I had was beyond belief and acceptance compared to most Western countries. Remember I am not talking about a small unit but a Rs.50000/- unit with failed sensor board, failed control panel board, failed lock sensor, leaking lint collector, and most important a corroded motor emitting electrical sparks.
                                Ifb is fraud company, I bought IFB 9 KG washer 7 KG Dryer 4 years back for Rs. 65000 and it became faulty. Ifb commitment was to provide 10 years spare support(big sticker pasted on machine claiming 10 years spare support, photo attached) but they refused to repair the washin machine saying company is not manufacturing spares and will not support. I logged complains three four times. I got area manager Santosh who committed to me that he will arrange 50% discount on new machine if I buy. Now after one week, either his number is always busy or he doesn't pick up the call. I file case in consumer court, they are fraud and cheater

                                  sir, we are kerala state and thrissur district.we have brought a ifb washing machine and we a complaint of leakage of water first the service men and came and said that its a compliant of rubber pipe after 5 days they replaced the pipe it was not that complaint then we called again said the complaint after 3 days the come and said that its complaint of drum then we brougt the drum we called them for replacing they are saying they will come tomarrow its a month over they are not come for replacing. for washing with the hands why should we buy the washing machine. we have gurantee up to august 2015. we called the service center of thrissur. so please take necessary action. i am giving my details below T.G.                                       Dear Sir, I am having IFB Washing machine since long time but from last 2 year its maintenance cost too much .Just 2 months back i was replace Motor & now again your service person telling us to change motor. So, now i am tired from this machine .Please do us need full. Other wise i have to go to consumer forum.

                                        Team IFB, THis is a SERIOUS CONCERN about your service. I picked up ...a IFB convection microwave (23BC4) on 17 Dec 2014 (Inv. [protected]) . The door handle got dislocated on 24 Dec 2014. I registered a complaint[protected] on the same day. All the service engineer did was on 27 Dec that he checked and told me that I will have to pay for the handle. I said i will pay but i need in writing that Handles are NOT covered under warranty. As soon as I told this, the service guy told me that he will get back. Nothing happened till first week of Jan 2015. Posted a SoS message on FB. Got a PROMPT reply to help on 12 Jan. I am in touch with Rahul from Bangalore Office ([protected]) on a daily basis. Reason given is that the handle from Goa is on the way. Surprised!! I logged a call on 19 Jan[protected]. I asked for another person in the escalation chain. No one is ready is ready to help. I just want to share my 'wonderful' experience with my IFB microwave without a handle for more than 3 weeks.
