My microwave oven is under AMC and its not functioning... I registered a complaint on 12th Dec 2014 and my ticket number is 14446051. After repeated complaints and reminders the engineer visited on sometime in Dec The engineer came checked and told he needs to replace the faulty part. Till date the issues is not fixed and no one is visiting. I am following up regularly but no progress. I am not sure whom to contact. I guess I have to go to consumer court.

If you can't fix the problem than what about the 2 year AMC which I have bought. What I am suppose to do with that.

Could you please help and refund the AMC charges if you can't fix the problem.
Consumers buy AMC on hope that company will provide regular services and fix the problems if any.


Its very disappointing to know that IFB is not fixing the problem nor refunding the AMC money.

    My washing machine is under warrnty and its door lock had fused due to which it was giving error message and stopped functioning... I registered a complaint on[protected] and my ticket number is [protected]. after repeated complaints and reminders the engineer visited on 19th .The engineer came checked and took the faulty spare part with him . During this the manager of chennai region was in touch and he promised that it will be replaced by 21st . Till date every morning he says the engineer will come by 4.pm then by 8 p.m and after that puts his phone on hold or off mode It is not that the spare part is not there with them as in their conversation which was on concall with me they said the spare part is with them. The manager is mr. Ravi Ganesh and his mobilenumber is[protected] hope some action soon

      Sir. It is intimated that I have purchase ifb top loaded washing machine on 31 dec 14 from paradip odisha. Model - AW6501RB. I am facing a lot of problems from the time of installation. And 3 to 4 times I have complained and ur serrice provider told me it has to change. And u talk to our office for change the machine. I talk to bhubneshwar main branch they are also not taking interest. So I request u sir pls replace this machine or rectify the problem. i will be very thankfull to you

        I got new washing machine yesterday, and I paid Rs.27250 for señorita side open model, and they said its 4 years warranty and for demo, company person will come. the person who came for demo from IFB said, only if we purchase stabiliser and filter the product will cover under warranty, without stabiliser it will not cover under warranty, I immediately contact the company but they didn't pick up. So we were forced to buy filter and stabiliser for Rs 3300. Today I went to the company to enquire about the stabiliser but they replied it's not like that and without stabiliser the warranty will be climbed. It's totally cheating kinda thing, that we were forced to buy stabiliser and filter threatening us that it will doesn't cover under warranty. It totally abuse. I need immediate action.

          I HAVE A MICROWAVE-17' CAPACITY AMC OF WHICH FAS BEEN RENEWED ON[protected].WHEN PREVIOUS AMC PERIOD DID NOT EXPIRE AND ALREADY RENEWED UPTO DEC2016, INSPITE OF SEVERAL FOLLOW-UP YOUR MECHANIC CAME BEFORE 3 WEEKS AND TOLD THAT CERTAIN SPARE PARTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE CHANGED COST OF WHICH I HAVE TO PAY. AFTER 3 WEEKS JUST TODAY YOUR MECHANIC CAME AND OPINED THAT THE ESTIMATION OF PREVIOUS MECHANIC WAS WRONG AND THE SPARE PARTS WHICH HE BROUGHT WILL NOT BE IN USE. HE ALSO SUGGESTED TO BUY A NEW ONE AND OPINED- THAT NEAR ABOUT RS.1500/-BEING AMC RENEWAL FEE WILL BE FORFEITED IF A NEW ONE IS PURCHASED. INSPITE OF RENEWAL OF AMC I AM NOT GETTING ANY SUFFICIENT SUPPORT FROM YOUR END AND MY MICROWAVE REMAINS USELESS FOR MORE THAN ONE MONTH.WOULD YOU MAKE ARRANGEMENT FOR EARLY REPAIRING.             I have purchased IFB Serena fully automatic washing machine in Oct 2011 From mahajan electronics Raja garden . After one year the machine started leaking from below but when I complained regarding the issue the representative come and can't detect the actual problem . Many of representative came and befooled me quoting different statement to purchase IFB detergents to solve this prioblem .I even purchased them but the problem existed ...But when I strongly opposed the company sent another representative who understood the problem but didn't told me ...He made some JUGAAD and somehow leakage stopped.. Again after 2-3 days the same problem started and when I called the same representative, he said some part has to be changed and he is already aware of that ... Representative came today and unscrewed the machine and I found that there was a big hole in rear drum which was taped with ifb sticker all round . There is lot of leakage due to this and my machine from inside has been corroded n parts are damaged to do this blunder done by the ifb company .He changed the particular part but I need a reason why a faulty machine is SOLD AS A NEW MACHINE by IFB... I want my complete money back as I have been harrassed by I F B

              I have IFB washing machine having AMC Valid till March, 2015. I resides at Haldia, Dist, Purba Medinipur, West Bengal-721607. My Washing Machine is not working since the last two weeks or more. I called the local authorised agent two weeks back for same. The technician came and visited but did nothing. He appraised that he will visit again 2/3 day later. After 5/6 days letter, the same fellow came and did nothing. After that technician lost his touch and never attended the problem. I also called to service centre, kolkata and was assured of immediate action. But till date no action is being taken so far. At last getting fed up, I am lodging the complain. Pl advise the service agent to attend the the case immediately and resolve the issue.                   Dear sir, I am using IFB Senator washing Machine for the past four years. From 7 Oct 2014 I have got problems in my washing machine. I have complaint many times. The h no are [protected], 12045727, 12045727, 11997592, 11947419, 11923106,[protected], 11808174. But each time the serviceman comes they are unable to solve the problem. They have changed the small circuit board once but still the problem is persisting. Today a service man came and demanded Rs 3700 for repairing since the warranty period is over. But I have been asking to clear the problem since October 2014. But now they have found the mistake and charging huge amount for repair. This is unsatisfactory as the serviceman was dragging till my warranty expires. Please take necessary action.                     Dear Sir, Unfortunately I decided to buy the IFB Direct Drive 7Kg Front Loading SS Drum washing unit about 2 years from now. The decision for purchase of IFB was influenced on its use during my overseas stay. However, since installation it has heavy vibration especially during spinning cycle which make the machine to move in any direction abnormally/aggressively. The IFB Service Engineers did continue justifying and sold as well the accessories such as Wheeled Platform. Can IFB suggest the right action as machine can not be kept tied with belt to keep positioned? Also, cloths get perforated during wash for some unknown reasons while the complete cycle gets automatically selected. Again the reasoning justified by visiting IFB Service Engineers/Technicians is never satisfactory and in the name of solution they try/sell the De-scaling Powders. Could the no use or sparingly use of De-scaling Powder be the reason for perforation? Obviously, above remedial measures suggested by visiting service engineers are profiting the product seller/shop but tarnishing IFB's credentials. As it is Indian market, such unsatisfactory explanations continue and I am still not convinced if the same works in Germany (the parent country). Possibly, the service support is dependent on poorly trained/educated/low paid people whose aim always remain focussing the shop/seller profit and so his share of profit at IFB's image.                     SO FAR I HAD BEEN CALLING THE SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE THROUGH SELLER SHOP AND THIS IS MY COMPLAIN IN WRITING AIMING TO REACH DIRECTLY TO IFB. MY MAIL ID AND CELL NOS ARE WELL IN WORKING BUT WHAT ELSE YOU ARE LOOKING FOR IS NOT WELL UNDERSTOOD. PLEASE CLARIFY. COMPLAIN IS REPRODUCED BELOW AGAIN.

                      Registered a complaint with IFB Service Center on 9th January, 2014. Since then we have called them atleast 5 times. But the none of the service guys have turned up at the house for repair. We are not on the 10th day after raising the complaint. Ticket number: 14663004. In tha past also IFB service center's response has been very poor an inefficient. They always press for taking AMC, but with this kind of response its not worth it.

                        Dear Customer Executive, Greetings to the day! My permanent customer number: 10514063 on the name of : S K Varshney. I had bought the convection microwave oven at 28 12 2012 from IFB authorized dealer. After completing one year, the major part of oven which is known as "Magnetron" was disordered. They have taken the service charges around 200rs after having warranty of 3 years. Its been hardly 11 months passed, the magnetron was disordered again. I have concern with the product. This magnetron confirmation was given by technician. Name: Mr. Sanjeev (PhnNo:[protected]). They are asking some service charges again. I dnt have any issue for money. I am having concern after expiry of the warranty, if something wrong who will be taken care of this faulty oven. Which is been giving bugs time to time. Meanwhile, once I ordered the product. The product was not providing heat initial days, after raising a complaint to shop keeper, they came and repair the minor fault of the product. Every time, the product is giving issue.                           I have called the sercice centre in ernakulam and they said that they will send the technician. With many calls finally the technician came and told that transformer is complaint. We requested him to change it and after that waiting for more than one and half month for the technician to come and repair. He is not responding and the service centre is not picking up the phone. Our ifb oven purchase date is 26.08.2011. Name is sanal p c Bought from nandilath g mart ernakulam. Could you please suggest a service centre in ernakulam who respond to our complaint.

                            Hi, I am having an IFB washing machine and it is not working since the past two months. There is no proper customer service despite of having an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contact) on that machine. The problem with the machine is that, the digital display of the machine is not working and so the machine is not running. This problem erased two months back and there was a replacement of the display board with a lot of delay. But the part which was replaced by a brand new one gave up just after 10 days of working. And again on january 2 2015 i registered a complaint with the customer service center of IFB. Till date 15 days have passed since then but nothing has been done. I have been contacting the customer service center regularly only to receive apologies but no actual service. Fed up with all this i asked the customer service center to give me the contact numbers of the people responsible for servicing the machines, who are IFB area mangers and service heads. i have got the numbers but none of them were least bothered to pick up the call or look into this matter. The numbers of those people are given below, Name contact number Mr. Sunil [protected] Mr. subhash [protected] Mr. Ramakrishna [protected] Mr. Madhusudhan Reddy [protected] I hope at least this complaint would resolve the issue at the earliest.

                              Hello, ifbi kolkata is fraud institutions center.All the fraudulence happen under the supervision of Center head Mr SOUVIKE SEN and well executed by the counselor department(Devjit and Rituparna) and the faculty members to increase the duration of the coures.My course is PGDB+ 4 month duration which consists 4 term examination it means according to them after 1 month term 1 will conducted but in kolkata center take 2 months to compliant term 1 paper and each month they send mail us to deposit the fees in this way they take 76, 000 from me now i am in term 2.Now the faculty member did not give any proper information about course and they did not give any proper guidance about the subject and the online exam pattern so that 50% student failed in 1 attempt, and 2 and 3 attempt few pass few failed including me, i failed in term 1 in FMA subject after 3 attempts.They are not enough good in their domain knowledge to teach the students, the reason behind it they are all retired or they take voluntary retirement from bank.They don't know the teaching method.Now i decided to leave the course and demanded for refund of money 40%.. Please help me out .

                                    IFB Washing machine Serena VX 7kg purchased on 23.10.2011 from Geroge Enterprises, Marthandam. This washing machine is not working from November 2014and booked a complaint at Geroge Enterprises, Marthandam and they said the IFB Service Agency is changing so the complaint booking may be delayed. On December they said the complaint has been booked and the number is 4001926 dated 6.12.14. I was asked to contact phone number [protected] and I did so. After so many times phone contact one service person came and he said door lock complaint. The door lock will be changed with in few days. On 23rd December one service staff came with a spare door lock and after doing service the machine without cloths worked. Next day when I put cloths for washing the machine not worked. Again the same complaint. I called the service centre contact number [protected] and said the problem. On 27th December 2014 again service staff came he said the door lock complaint. When I saw the spare door lock manufacturing date mentioned in it was November 2008 which they replaced. The date of manufacturing of the spare fitted was two years older the my washing machine. Again I complaint to phone number [protected] and IFB customer care [protected]. I got the message thanks for contacting IFB. We will be acting on your feedback on 10.01.15. No further action. By this during warranty I could not use the machine for two months. Please take immediate action. I have no other option than consumer court if this problem unnoticed.

                                      I have ordered front loading eva 5.5 washing machine on 28th dec 2014, after conforming with customer care centre as to how much time it will take to deliver it at my home and what further i will have to do to get it installed. The person said within 5-6 days delivery and just one call to cust. Care centre for within 24 hrs installestion. It was delievered on 9th jan and till today no technician has arrived to install it... Inspite of many many repeated calls everyday to these people on[protected] and repeated e-mails. I am being harassed by putting my call on hold everytime by saying we connect to higher manager... They are asking me to call and request their technician to come... Its most pathetic experience i had and in future i donot want to deal with ifb. Please help me to return their machine and get my money refunded. This company's service is hopeless... It donot value its customers at all.

                                        I have ordered a 20 litre microwave oven (20SC2 Convection - 20 litre ) on 1st September 2015. After placing the order I haven't received any confirmation call or SMS from IFB. When I contacted the customer care they have been telling the delivery would be done on 4th Sep, then they said on 5th Sep but no delivery has been done as on 06th September 2015. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way IFB treating its customers. If I have ordered through Flipkart or Amazon, the product would have delivered in 3 days. After multiple follow up and false promises, I haven't received any confirmation call or SMS from IFB.
