RESPEDCTED SIR,

The control panel of the machine is not functioning especially the PROGRAMME SELECTOR KNOB is not rotating.
I purchased the Elena Aqua 6KG 800 RPM washing Machine from RANA ELECTRICALS, VASAI on 27/10/2012 . The machine had been malfunctioning ever since at quarterly intervals .

A fortnight ago, the technician replaced a valve for the water inflow, however the machine was still not working.
Even after having contacted the Customer Care Division of IFB, no technician from IFB has contacted me .Customer ID 10057995, complaint No 15784099

I am grossly inconvenienced, deeply disappointed with the inefficiency of IFB & feel cheated .

I seek immediate action from IFB

    I own a ifb digital drive 7kg model and it is not working now. I have raised complaint with your customer care[protected] on nov 21st. After multiple escalations and calling the service person directly multiple times, i had one visit from the local service person and he claimed that the drum has to be replaced. I had asked him to replace it, but no response from him. After multiple calls, he still claims that the part is not in. I call up customercare and they say the complaint has been escalated and will be addressed the same day.in fact. I get false promises and commitments from the customer care reps on the date this issue will be fixed. It is pathetic to know that i am not able to talk to someone who has the authority to call the shots Since the day i registered the complaint, i have been throttled between customer care and the local service dealer to understand the status. Very frustrated with this experience with ifb. There was a reason for me to a ifb customer, but now that reason is fading very soon. I have called up the following service persons multiple times and no response. No body even has the courtesy to pick up calls. [protected] - priya (Ifb area manager) [protected] - ravi ganesh (Ifb manager) [protected] - rajasekhar (Ifb service manager) [protected] - suresh (Ifb service) I know the original cost for hte machine included the warranty cost as well. So ifb has taken up my money upfront and provides no service. This is a pure violation of consumer protection act and falls into cheating fraud. I am very alarmed at the rate of the denial of service by ifb after eating away the consumer's money in the name of warranty. Complaint raised on : nov 21st 2014

      Brand new machine purchased in oct-14. After 4 washes machine is malfunctioning. We have already compliant on 10/11/14 but till date the problem is not resolved. Our compliant no. 14229268 dtd 10/11/14. I kindly request you please free replace the brand new one or else refund back our actual money. We don't want to experiments on my machines. Your service engineer who visited many times taken many parts from the machines & supplied wrong spares this shows capability of ifb. Warm rgds Srinivas [protected]

      even after 8 days of on line complaint problem not resolved it shows the IFB poor competency, twice send the wrong timer & again ordering new timer, i dont want trail & error method, there safty issue to allow service engineer for every time, with two months washing machine main componete failed i dont the washing machine please refund my amount & take back the washing machine, or replace the washing machine with brand new.

        Since from last week i was trying to get service person for my ifb washing machine and i register through the call also but till now no one came to my home for the service washing machine. when i speak with customer care they simply cut the calls. worst customer care service is going by ifb. send me the person for service as soon as possible.

            My IFB customer ID is 2945767. I had registered a complaint with the IFB regarding improper functioning of a washing machine which in within the warranty period long ago. The token number was 11910104. After a lapse of nearly two week a technician came and attended the repair works and I had signed in a paper in the evening. A message was received in my phone saying to deliver a message to certain number if I was satisfied with the repair works done to the washing machine which i didn't comply As I was not satisfied. The matter that the complaint was not rectified by the technician was reported to the IFB franchise at Trivandrum over phone. No one turned up and they won't attend the calls from my phone after that. So on 4th December I had again made a complaint to the IFB over the phone number[protected] and the token no. received is 11977627. Now one week has elapsed since then. No one had attended till date[protected]. This is the second similar instance, I am facing from the IFB, just for the purchase of a washing machine. I request that if the complaint can be rectified it should be done at the earliest. No phone calls will rectify the complaint and so avoid unwanted soothing phone calls as far as possible in this case and action is that necessitate.

                I bought an AMC contract for IFB Elena DX machine on 14/10/13 till 13/10/15 for Rs.3539/-. And recently I started facing my house fuse going off when the washing machine runs. I opened a Ticket 14418084 with customer care on 6/12/2014. The technician visited and said the motor needs to be replaced. When I asked him if this covered in the AMC, after thinking long he said Yes. After changing the motor he said, the motor got water splashed over while washing the floor which is a condition not covered in the AMC. So I need to pay Rs.4750/- for it. This was surprising me because, the washing machine is placed in unused 3rd bathroom of my 3BHK flat which was not requiring any floor wash for past one year. Even if water splash is the case for motor failure, Is that not a design fault from IFB? The bottom of washing machine is designed open and you also sold me a stand to place the machine over and allow all circumstances for a water splash on motor. Then on top to this, You sell AMC(and enjoy it like sweet money for no service) contracts and deny service on flimsy grounds for which customers can't be held responsible? The technician said I need to talk with branch head for queries. The Service head([protected]@[protected]) is an intelligent woman, who said I used the machine in unsubscribed conditions(!!!) and so the AMC is not going to cover. Atlast I ended up paying Rs.4750/- for the motor inspite of having AMC and using the machine in normal & regular conditions any customer will use. The IFB machine was working fine for the past 6years which made me think they're a decent company. This ugly face of IFB is making me think they are one more in the stinky lot. |

                  I bought a dish washer on December 2013 and the machine was delivered to my home after one week. When the machine was delivered there was no powder delivered together with the machine so i have ordered the powdered and it took another three months to delivered to my home and i started using the machine on may 2013 and the machine was spoiled on june and i called the service center in nagercoil.After one week one person from nagercoil service center came to my home and take a look at the machine and he told there is a rat bite in the main wire which is getting connected to the board and we will replace that and we will keep a filter so that the rat wont enter the machine again. He told us in order to get it changed you need to bring the machine to our office. And we bring the machine to the service station and one week there is no response from them and when we called them they told us there is some issue in some of the other parts as well which we have ordered in Madurai which will take some time and we waited few more days and few days later the agent called us and told us we need to pay around 6000 rs in order to take back our machine. When i checked with him why we have to pay 6000 rs give me the breakdown for that. He told me that rat bite is there even inside the machine and we have replaced those parts also which we ordered from Madurai. I asked him to send me the pictures of the parts which has rat bite and the bill copy for the spare parts which he has ordered.I waited for two days and i didn't receive any documents, Hence i told him i cannot pay any amount. First thing is if he is changing any other parts he should have consulted with me first and second thing is how can he get spare parts from outside when he is a authorized service center for IFB.IFB should provide the spare parts which need to be replaced. He tried to cheat me using his best tactics and at last he told me he cannot give the machine unless we pay 2000 rs. I agreed to pay that and he told me he will send back the machine as it is already repaired and he took 5 days to send back the machine to my house. When he delivered the machine i asked him to check whether it is Working or not. The machine was send back with the same condition as it was taken from my home.He didn't do any repair and he simply bring back the machine and i called him again and after 2 days one person came to my home and he fixed the issue.He said there is a rate bite in the main wire and i will replace it and he said one nastle is open that why the rate is entering into the machine and he fixed that and he said here after there should not be any problem. Now again the machine is not working. I called the service station again and one person came to my house and he checked and he told again there is a rat bite and you need to pay the repair cost if you want to do Service and we need to order the parts from Madurai. I have never encountered such a issue with any of the company. I have other products from other brands where they i have seen good response from the service center. IFB service center is the worst i have seen ever and even i have raised the complaint to the IFB sales manager and there is no good response from him as well.

                  Every day the service center they say they are waiting for spare parts and until today nothing is moving i am not sure what king of responsibility IFB is taking to get the customer issue resolved.

                  can you please arrange for the refund of my money. i dont need the machine.until today nobody came for repair and no action has been taken. its totally useless to keep such kind of machine. please arrange to take back the machine and refund my money.                   There is no action taken either from service centre or from IFB sales area manager. They keep on saying will resolve it in another 10 days. What kind of seervice is provided for IFB devices? This shows that no body should buy IFB products.

                    Please note that, i was having trouble with my front load Senetor washing machine for last 2 months. I registered my complaint and a technician came, and went without resolving the issue fully. I then got a message from IFB that my complaint has been resolved. I again made a complaint, and then again the technician came and same thing happened. This has been happening for last 2 months. Finally, the technician told me that, there is a problem with the timer and that he will come and change the timer. Again, I got a message from IFB that my complaint has been resolved. I am still waiting for the timer to be changed. I am really dissapointed with the after sales service of IFB.

                        I purchased a washing machine from IFB. The service center is very nearby, about 3km far. I contacted them for about 3 days to come to solve an issue. They told have to change one part of the equipment. They have given 4 years service warranty and 10 years warranty for parts. They didnt even come after 2 days and told have to pay an amount for the part. Their service is very bad and the technician is misbehaving. Now they are also telling have pay for service also. Till now I didn't get my washing machine repaired. The service center is FREEZE INDIA ENGINEERS. Please take this complaint into serious issue. They are cheating us. Till now they didnt respond.

                            Dear sir, this is joy from palani in 2008 i bought ifb washing machine in between 6 years i spend lot of amount in service, in everyservice different employes came and give different ideas . in between 6 years i change machine board 2 times . 3 months one time some problem made in my washing machine. If anybody ask idea of to buy washingmachine surely i will not support ifb company . Now a days customer satisfaction is important . please do the needful as soon as possible.

                              Have been waiting for Tap Adaptor since 28 Nov, 2014: Have sent several emailer's. Have made calls to customer care almost every-day since then. Have also called several people refereed by these customer care executives: 1. Mr. Manjanna on his mobile :[protected]. Does not not pick the call. 2. Shree Nidhi Services who were the service providers for the last 6 years in our area => They responded by saying they are no more the service providers for this area. 3. Mr Hemanth Kumar - area co-ordinator Despite several emailer's, and several calls still no sight of the item being delivered... Is this what the so called 24/7 customer service one can expect from IFB?

                                Hi, I.have registered a complaint on 22nd nov regarding my washing machine having HUGE sound while spinning. Complaint no 14318737. The machine is under amc.One technician has visited my house on 24th nov and he said he cannot fix the issue, some senior technincan will come and fix it . After that I have been calling their customer care, area manager, franchisee on every day .They dont even care about the issue . My neighbours in the apartment is complaining about the noise and hence its shut as of now . I live with a family of 2 small kids and find extremely difficult to live without washing machine . I regret the decision of buying IFB product. Anup Bangalore

                                    I am highly disappointed of your services I went to trade Fair On 22-Nov-2014 and visit to IFB Stall and I met with the sale person Named Yunis who told about the Micro wave and he offered RS 5900 for a grill microwave and charged 500 Rs in advance and told me that I’ll rest amount of Rs 5400 on delivery and He never told me any hidden charges like sales tax, services tax and Shipping. now when the courier service boy came he is asking me $6200. However I was told that I only need to pay 5400.Then they return the product and I never receive my money back this is a kind of fooling Customers and he is fraud guy(Yunis).He took Rs 500 from me and I received no refund. This is highly unethical. Pls process me refund of Rs 500 and his phone no. is [protected].I never trust a company like this I have attached the proof of receipt . please lunch a complaint and if you need to contact me pls call me at [protected].

                                      1. "Programme Selector" knob of my washing machine Elena SX 6 damaged/broken due to domestic reason. I have been pursuing the case with IFB customer care since 1st week of Nov 2014 for the replacement of the same on purchase basis. They never even picked up the phone. 2. . We the customers make purchase of branded item from the market with a view that in case of service/repair required it is available at a call. If this is the service IFB provides to its customers where we poor customers go ????????.

Despite availing extended warranty services, there has been no attention paid to the problem.
