We had recently taken a two year AMC for our washing machine. A person who came for regular service said the bearing needs to be replaced. This person had asked to show the AMC receipt. He checked n left saying a complaint needs to be made. After waiting for a few days a man turned up with the bearing and opened up the body of the machine to fix it. He left the body of the machine open and said a shaft of the drum is worn out and needs replacement. He promised to return after the weekend and has not yet turned up.

We are constantly in touch with the IFB local service guys in Chennai, but the response we get from them is very bad. Each day they promise to send someone and nobody turns up. Also I got to know from the all India helpline that my earlier ticket was cancelled on a wrong allegation that no AMC bill was made available.

We are struggling without the machine even after taking an AMC with the company. Very sorry to say that the service of the company is extremely disappointing. My complaint numbers are[protected]old) and 11530412.
I have lodged complain to IFB Care (Ticket #[protected] since last nearly 3 weeks but still the complaint is not attended. They have to replace part but the customer care executive bluntly told that we will not call/;order one part for you. Will order when we have more parts to be ordered and till that time we have to wait. Every time we call Customer care they say it will take more time.


Is this what IFB Care support system. Please let me know what Service Standards are followed at IFB for Customer Satisfaction.

I have a washing machine Senator . It had a complain of water drainage occasionally otherwise working smoothly which I had lodged a complain on 02 Aug 2014. Cut Id 1894714 and complain no 13485734. On 06 Aug one technician came and gave a huge estimate to my wife and I was not available at home. Suspecting some foul play she had requested the technician to come the next day.After the technical left the machine refuse to work at all. The next day despite several reminder to the servicing station[protected] and promised again and again that the technician is on his way, nobody turned up even on 08 Aug 2014. On 09 Aug again I went through the same complain procedure and I was give a call back by Mr Kumar identified himself as Senior manager that Technician is on his way, he also gave me contact no of servicing station no of Mr Vijay. He also confirmed me that the technician is on his way . But after that neither the technician came nor the servicing centre or the technician picked the phone.Today 11 Aug after contacting both customer care as well as servicing center I got repeated same statement " I AM SORRY FOR THE INCONVENEANCE WE WILL DEFINETLY ATTEND TO YOUR PROBLEM TODAY "

Now you are requested that necessary action may please be initiated at the earliest to protect the already spoiled reputation as per after sale service is concern.I have also complain through customer care email on 07 aug but no response either.

I had put up a complaint first on 18th august about my washing machine which is under annual maintenance. For good about 10 days no one called and nothing was done. I gave a call again and again I was given a ticket number. After that also nothing was done. Today is 30th august and I must have called at least 5 times to remind about my complaint. But till date nothing has been done. my complaint numbers given to me were as mentioned below.

I have never ever been so disappointed in ifb services as now.

Dirt particles on clothes after washing which have damaged a lot of clothes and caused skin allergies.
Even after repetitive complaints no effective action has been taken and the person coming in just tries to sell IFB products and even after using that product no results are seen.

I bought one washing machine from Bajaj electronics, Washing Machine name is ifb w m senorita aqua s x 6.5 kg from ifb, i have place a order on[protected] of this month, after 2 weeks the delivered has come to my home I was not present at home my sister received the items. While delivering they told her that installation guy will come and install the product and give demo. so she didn't opened the packings. After 2 th weeks washing machine person has not came to my home, After ward one install person has came and open the washing he saw some washing machine spare part has broken when i ask the person to change, first he told that we has a spare part, then afterward he is tell that i have no spare part, the guys was shouting on us with big voice all in my apts people came running to us there ask me what happen i have explain then, all spare part has damage, we have call the company person there is no respond from them, then i have call for customer care to take the complaint, but there are not taking sir pls help us, my name is mahender my number is [protected]
My IFB Elena washing machine which is under AMC stopped working. My customer code is 2238158 I complained on [protected] on 26/09/2014 and complaint no. 13296641 was issued but the technician, one Mr. Dinesh visited after a whole 2 weeks. He said that the motor needed to be replaced and that he would come later with the required part. since then he has not returned. I again complained on 18/10/2014 and again compaint no. 14050782 was issued with the assurance of escalating the complaint but nothing happened. I spoke a third time recently but customer care seems helpless.
Worst service ever. I was looking to buy a microwave oven but after seeing IFB service i stopped considering them at all.
PLEASE attend to my complaint no. 14289635 dated 18/11/2014. This is the second complaint for the last 70 days even after having AMC for Rs 2697/- my first complaint was 13796649 in September, which was cancelled without repair.
My consumer ID no is 1103817. I have paid Rs. 2697/- towards A M C dated 20/09/2014. I have registered my complaint several times. No one has repaired my washing machine and now they are not accepting my complaint also. I do not know the reason. Even from this consumer Forum I am not getting proper reply. After collecting the AMC amount, you are not accepting the complaint and do not solve the problem. Please give proper reply in this regard. At present my washing machine is under repair. Or can you refund the money which I have paid, so that I can go for new washing machine. Or you can exchange the machine after deducting Rs 2697/-. I. Hope that you will consider any one of them.

This is to inform you that I registered a complain (complain no.[protected] on 17.1.2015 but no one has attended it till today. The sequence of events that have transpired after lodging the complaint and the passage of about 35 days are both depressing and distressing.
I reminded IFB customer care, they gave me Shikha’s no.[protected] .She told me on 23rd or 24th Jan that a technician will attend on 27th Jan. Nobody has come .Again I remind IFB customer care they gave me Tarun’s no.([protected]).He replied arrogantly. Again I called up IFB, they gave me Chanchal’s no.([protected]).He told me that Tarun has cancelled my complain, without giving any reason. But Chanchal assured me on 11th or12th Feb that he will send a technician very soon.Till today nobody has come.
May I request you to please take note of the complaint and do something if the concept of customer service still exists in your esteemed organization. In this context I would like to point out that I have been a customer of IFB for about ten years now and there has not been a single complaint that has been addressed in time.

We, World Renewal Spiritual Trust had purchased an IFB fully Automatic Top Loading Washing machine, Model No. IFB W/M 7233, Sr. No. 00264 wide bill no.A-3101 on[protected] from M/S Sahu Agency Pvt. Ltd., Sahu Theatre Building, Hazratganj, Lucknow through Cheque no. 509387/[protected].

Since the time of Purchase this particular model had created a lot of problem and got repaired several times (You may kindly check your records).We are facing a lot of trouble due to this repeated repairing of W/M.

We being an international Spiritual Organisation, maintain a high standard of cleaning which is being hankered because of non-repairing of our washing m/c.

We would also like to inform you that our Mr. Sanjeev Kapoor and Mr. Sanjay Tandon visited your service centre at Hazratganj, Lucknow several times and talked with your service centre in-charge Mr. Siddiqui and service engineer Mr. Arun Kumar ( Mob. No. [protected]). But it had all gone in vain. It looks our trouble is not being given proper attention and we are being misguided.
Because you are having an international Brand name in the field of W/M products, we are shocked and ashamed that you have authorised such a careless engineer/ service centre which are damaging your brand reputation.

We strongly demand to replace this machine at the earliest otherwise we will be having no other option to take this matter legally.

Hi Team, Please note I am having an IFB washing machine and which is still under warranty.(Customer id[protected] Currently this is having an issue and raised a complaint with the customer care. Compliant number:10727508. I have the logged the complaint on 11 May 2014 still no response.The product is under warranty and we may to take it legally if the response still remains the same...
we purchased a washing machine through e bay. on 31/12/2014
after arrival we called for technician for erection and demonstration but in vain due to defective piece.
supplier says ifb has to take care, and ifb says seller has to take care .
but even after four months no body cares to attend the problem.

    To IFB Washing Machine Division Gujarat, India Subj : Complaint for Service of IFB Washing Machine Customer ID[protected] Dear Sir, I have IFB Washing Machine registered on the name of Ms. Praveena Ghiya. My customer ID is[protected]. I bought this machine, with immense trust on IFB Brand but today looking at your service standards, I regret my decision. On[protected] I took Annual Maintenance Contract paying Rs. 4000. Enclosed is the copy of the same. I was assured that except for the physical body if any part in the machine needs to be changed, including the rubber, it will be done free of cost. You may refer to my numerous complaints made in last 4 months. Every time my complaint is about the digital panel which shows washing time and the miss functioning of the program play and pause button. Every time an engineer comes, solves the problem and it reoccurs within a week. My last complaint was booked on 27th April 2014 and complaint no. is 12845130. As per your practice every time the complaint gets diverted to your Authorized Service Center, M/s Young Engineers, Paldi, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. And we are then left to their mercy. They send unskilled engineers who are always confused and give illogical explanation for the persisting problem. Upon much persuasion, the engineer informed that the complete digital panel needed to be changed. He confirmed that M/s Young Engineers have it in stock and he will return with the panel on the next day. He also assured that since it is an internal part of the machine, it will be covered within the contract and no extra amount will be charged. As perceived, he never returned. When we called up M/s Young Engineers, Ms. Neelam said that the panel is not in stock and it may take few weeks to get it. She also informed about various charges which will be applicable knowing fully well that we have enrolled for AMC. She was not interested in listening to problem and was very rude, arrogant and much like her employer (M/s Young Engineers) her attitude also spelt shrugging off with her responsibilities. It seems no one is interested in solving customer problem after the contract money is received. Inspite of being in service driven market, it amazes me to see how you handle your clients. This is the most pathetic experience of my life. I am still awestruck with the service standards of a brand like IFB. A strict quality check on the service part needs to be implemented with immediate effect. Let me also clarify, that if I don’t receive proper and immediate response to this complaint. I shall not only send a legal notice, but also take up to social networking sites and local newspapers to raise this issue. And believe me, I will spend the time, energy and money to raise this issue on all the necessary platforms. I now leave the decision upto you and shall wait for your response till evening. Inspite of repeated requests and reminders, as assured, no one attended. I am very saddened with the approach on behalf of IFB, a renowned and reputed firm, that even after several reminders and assurance by the people who are attending the call on toll free number, no positive action has been taken and I am facing a lot of problem. In the absence of proper working of the Machine and no positive action from your end despite various efforts, I am mentally upset.         I have raised the problem regarding the ifb washing machine. There is no solution/response/call from the engineers, my machine is under amc.they are concentrating only with sales not with the services. Please don't suggest this brand for others. They cant survive in market with is kind of services.

            The technical team in Bhubaneswar adviced us to dry the clothes again once it is out from the industrial dryer. If that was how the purpose had to be solved, then why buy an industrial dryer.We don't understand if this is the kind of assistance that you have guided your local teams to provide their customers.

              Machine Make and Model - IFB DIVA Complaint - Washing Machine dead 1st service call raised - 13th March[protected] Here starts my ongoing efforts to get a dead Washing machine back to working by IFB service team. I happily raised the request and was at peace assuming my complaint will be closed in a weeks’ time as it happened few times earlier. The technician made a visit after a couple of days and claimed the wire harness needs a replacement. I agreed it at a cost of 2300/- (approx.) I followed up a few days later as and got to know the ticket was closed!!! 2nd service call raised for the same issue - 2nd April[protected] The call center executive was kind enough to raise another request and on my requested he claimed it was escalated. 23rd day today after the second call and I am waiting for a technician to fix my WM! The individuals I came across during my follow up during the last 44 days 1. 16 call center agents - Don't remember all the names 2. Susmitha - Local service center franchise[protected] 3.A guy on[protected] he is either the franchise owner or the technician 4.Mr Santhosh - Should be the Area service manager ([protected]) 5.Nirmala / Venkatesh[protected]/62) - Seems to be from IFB Regional office, Both never bothered to pick up the call 6.Mr. Bharath Area service manager ([protected]) who claimed the part was sent thrice for an incorrect model 7. [protected]@ifbglobal.com - I attempted sending a mail, for which I got a reply after 2 days in Chinese. Google failed to translate it! PS: All the above contacts were provided by Call center, The list is incomplete as I don't remember all the names (44 days and still calling) Please take my complaint to the right team in IFB who can fix the WM Thanks in Advance Renil M Joseph

              With in 24 hours of posting the complaint, I got a call from IFB. Sounded very positive, Assured things will be taken care and I don't have to do any more follow up. I have a good feeling that the right team is involved here.
              No Progress, except the calls from IFB factory on 26, 28 & 29th. It seems the factory team is also surprised by the casual approach from the local service franchise. I have politely requested to assign this case to another franchise; and..this is the 48th day since the first call.

                  I have been a loyal customer of IFB for almost past 15 years. Recently, 2 years back, I had bought a new IFB machine. I didnt have any problem with it until one day I got a call from IFB that my machine's service is due. It was my biggest mistake to agree to get it serviced.From the day the IFB engineer had serviced it, my machine is not working properly. It starts automatically and when I operate it, it stops in between. I had been calling IFB officials for past 2 weeks now. First, they dont send the engineer, and when they do, the engineer just comes and spends 5 mins and say it will be fine now. But again the problem crops up. I am highly disappointed with your service. Never had such a bad experience with any company.

                      Ifb has by far the most pathetic customer service team. These people are not just unprofessional but manner less and completely insensitive as well. They promise to resolve your problem in 48 hours but its been 16 days today that i have lodged a complaint and they have all the excuses in the world to not do their job. Today i spoke to ms preeti who is supposedly the service center head for my area and to my disappointment she also gave me 48 hours tat to resolve my complaint. Really!!! 48 hours more after having wait for 16 days. And by the way this not the first time that i facing this kind of problem with ifb customer care team. This has been a consistent experience with them every time i had raised a complaint with them. For anyone who is even thinking of buying a ifb product, think again.. Buy any other brand but not ifb. Please learn from my experience. I do not want to get harnessed at the hands of ifb any more so it is my humble request kindly refund my money that i have spent on purchasing the product plus the amount ifb has charged me for amc.

                        I am owing the ifb señorita plus washing machine from August 2007. After the guaranty period I went for AMC and iam maintains the washing machine.. So far I have replaced door, tube, door clip, pump hose, and I have paid for it.. But today I was literally harassed by your technician, inorder to go for AMC... Which I felt. Was not necessary because for 2 yrs he asked me to pay RS.3933 plus RS 1800 for sensor and RS 485 for hose... He wanted me to pay for the sensor as he said this will help to des ale the machine and filter the water... This is not part of the machine... I came to know this from my husband later. I did not accept for his advice I asked him to change the defected pipe alone... He failed in convincing me so he threatened this machine will stop working as you have to replace the mother board which will cost 2800 and so go for AMC or your machine will not work... Saying this he called his manager and told him that the customer is not going for AMC, but they will surely come back within a week's time...he also told I am not responsible if the machine does not work.. And left... Pl note I called ifb to service my machine as I was facing water leakage.. The faulty hose has to be replaced... But instead the motive of the service team is to put preasure on the customer to go for AMC...( I do not wish name the company, ) XYZ washing machine has their own service team, they do not give AMC which 5 yrs old, please look into the matter... Now my machine is not spinng to dry.. PLease send a responsible technician... I paid for the hose and service charge, Looking forward. For a speedy action mobile no. [protected]

                            I lodged complaint(no[protected] on 15 march 14 with customer care IFB for washing machine model supremo for change of rubber gasket.Acoordingly technician visited and replaced the same, the person also informed that shocker/
                            dumping of machine require change.I agreed to as technicians are better judge.The dumping was changed by IFB, technician.After changing the dumping we noticed leaking of water from machine, which was notified to technician, who tried almost for three days to resolve the issue but with out any result.He asked me to again lodge the complaint with IFB, which was lodged on 03 apr14vide no 12695170.In this case no one from IFB came to attend the same till i approached higher ups.On 09 Apr technician came and told us the drum /tub of the machine is damaged and needs replacement.I asked him to show me the place of damage, to my surprise it was the place next to dumping which was changed by the technician. It was during replacing dumping the person had damaged the drum and tried to conceal the same.I tried on number of times to resolve issue with service head Pune Mr Shiva MOB NO [protected] but of no use.I want IFB officials to look into the matter or I will take legal course of action

                              We are facing issues with the service provided by IFB and its franchise Trinity enterprise which is very worst. From November 2013 we have raised many complaints (Complaint no: 12047557, 11867607, 12700453 .Don’t have details of some other complaints number) with IFB regarding the same issue and the issue is not yet fixed. Whenever service agent comes he tells something and fix something else and collects the service chargers. Though the warranty is for 1 month for each complaint IFB Service agents never came back and fixed the issue even after repeated calls and complaints. Every time service agent visited Insisted to take insurance (Worth 2584/-) and bluffed that it will replace the parts within two days of Insurance which never happened. After we took insurance that service agent never came back instead some other person stating it will take time to get the parts. The latest complaint (No :[protected] which we have raised on the same issue is on 04-APR-2013. As per the customer case they have told that it will resolved in 24 hrs and till today (12-APR-2013) which is more than a week none of the service agent has come and fixed issue. I am calling daily to customer care and routine answer what I am getting they will escalate to higher authorities and get it done in 24hrs which never happened. It became part of our daily work to call IFB and request them to get it repaired and getting frustrated. My wife being pregnant and very weak had to wash clothes from past three months adding pressure to her and health is getting impacted which IFB is responsible.

                                    I Purchased IFB MICROWAVE OVEN Model 20PG3S
                                    in the year 2012. Later I made a
                                    Annual Maintenance contract with
                                    IFB INDUSTRIES LTD 37 ARCOT ROAD, VADAPALANI, CHENNAI-600026the AMC amount
                                    was Rs 1, 760/- and the period of AMC
                                    is 2014 to 2015( Invoice cum Receipt SL No:40615)

                                    As my Microwave oven became repair 25 days back, I made a
                                    complaint to IFB through phone number[protected] annd they gave me complaint no 11329856 on 04/04/14. For this
                                    complaint one person came but not repair he said within in a weak we will
                                    repair but no one came after that for repairing. So again on[protected] I Called
                                    to customer care, but to much of my shock and surprise they told we received
                                    status to your complaint number 11329856
                                    starting that your Microwave oven is already repaired and the complaint is
                                    closed. Then I made complaint and
                                    complaint no 11352221.

                                    I’m very worried about
                                    ifb services very bad behaviour.
                                    I have paid the required amount for AMC(Rs 1, 760/-) inspite of getting my money from me your concern is not setting
                                    right my oven which is gross violation of the CONSUMER PROTECTION ACT1986, So as
                                    a final chance Iam giving this complaint
                                    to you for due action, Iwant my microwave oven to be repaired within 48 hours,
                                    failing to set right the issue i have no other option other than to take this
                                    matter to the Thiruvallur District Court/Consumer Forum.

                                      Sir We had made our AMC for IFB Elite 5kg machine on 22/1/2014. We registered the complaint about our repair of our machine (cable-repair, non-rotation of the drum) on 3/2/2014 with the complaint no.1191217. IFB Serviceman Mr.Bhasha attended the complaint and he covered the cable wires with the insulation tapes only. At that time, machine worked, rotated but without clothes, later we loaded with clothes and tried, but the drum didn’t rotate. Again we registered the complaint in the month of March with the complaint no.12589015 Mr.Prasanth IFB Serviceman attended the complaint; he said that the cable wires must be replaced. We have followed the Bangalore IFB service Centre where Mr.Peter, Miss Sangeetha and Miss Mary have informed us every day with the false statement that technician will be send on that day itself but still now, no one came for servicing. Later we approached Mr.Vignesh senior officer he made the conference call with Mr.Peter, Miss Sangeetha and Miss Mary, where they have given the same false statement still now but nothing is put into action. We trusted more on IFB Company and its services but, now, we are getting a worst service where the customers are put in trouble some situation. Kindly take immediate steps for the repair of our machine or else if it could not be done, return back our AMC amount and we will purchase another machine from another company.                                       I Had some voltage issue in my washing machine and it was rotating very slowly so i raised the complain and then the guy from the service center came and checked something and took the front panel with him saying there is some circuit issue and then he brought it back and spoiled it and nothing is working no lights coming and my machine is full waste now from past 1.5 months am waiting for it to get repaired . Its still in warranty period and the IFB guys are not taking any action really i would suggest you all never go from any IFB products i have never found such case in any other brands.

At the time of installation and demo the product is working fine. But after a week the product is started sounding. I have made complaint directly to IFB and their service representative from Home Tech Serviced, Purumbavoor checked and found complaint in the Transformer. After one week they taken the product to their service centre and repaired it and returned. The time taken is 15 days. At the time of demo after the service the we have notice the problem, not solved, I have made complaint to IFB again and also to Customer Care of LULU Connect. It is already one week gone and we are waiting for the service executive to replace the transformer. The Product cost is Rs, 13, 000/- It very bad service from IFB as per our experience. As it is a new product and it is a big issue, IFB can replace the complaint product with new product.

                                        I had purchased IFB microwave oven on Oct 2013.
                                        It worked well for the first 3 months. After that, each time it switch on the oven, there is load shedding and the power goes off. It doesn't work.

                                        i purchased a microwave oven of ifb on 22nd december 2014 and it started making noise when in use. i launched a complaint on 6th january 2015 but even after 2days not a single person from the service centre has contacted me.continously i have been reminding the customer care centre but they told me to contact the service centre numbers. the numbers given to me are not reachable, which is causing lot of problems as i am not able to use the microwave. it is really a harrasment for the customers for such negligence. i think i made a very big mistake by purchasing ifb product.

                                        This is pertaining to my IFB micro wave oven, i have registered complaint pertaining to my IFB micro wave oven but no technician is turning up to attend the same because AMC got expired. The statement is if you buy AMC we shall come & repair.

                                        During AMC coverage none of the technician came for service at the end of AMC they are calling for RENEWAL. I also have a washing machine which is under warrany but no body is turning for service.

A complaint letter was sent by registered post to Ammini traders, Thripunithura, Kochi from where we purchased the product on 18.04.2015. The customer executives had come here took photos of the product and promised that they will be back and replace the product or the rusted part free of cost.
