I bought IFB Convection Microwave Oven 20SC2 on 24.2.13. from Vijay Sales. When the timer suddenly stopped working in 5 months, I complained to the Customer service of IFB. the person came home and said that there is a spark coming in the oven and we should not use it at all. A new part will be installed for FREE as this is an absolutely new machine and well within warranty. From then till date, I have been continuously in touch with each and every service person from IFB namely Ms.Hemlata, etc...They all are mentioning that the part is coming specially for my machine from Germany and now she says that I need to pay for the part. Imagine such a big brand has pathetic ovens and a more pathetic customer service. Looks like someone is swimming through the 7 seas for this part to reach me. This is a complaint against the company and also Vijay Sales, Opera House branch who did not help me a bit even though I kept in touch with them continuously. This happens only in India ; I know for sure if I was abroad, I could do much more than this. Friends, never buy an IFB from Vijay Sales...they would only loot you.

      Within 2 Months Of Buying IFB 20PG3S Microwave Oven While Cooking there was a flash inside. Some small portion of the cavity was burnt. IFB Customer service Person Visited & unable to find out the cause. As I have a small kid in my home, I requested them a written confirmation that there is no problem and the same will not be happening further else they should replace the oven. After several interaction and visit they confirmed for replacement and the Collected Bill copy. After that there was no response from their side. I called the customer care or their directed persons in Chennai at least 50 times in vein. They redirect each other. Sometimes directed person don't pick the call. Almost 6 months after the incident I still don't have any response from the company. The company it seems trying to cheat the customer by escaping and not addressing the issue.

        i have got a i.f.b. washing machine namely serena 5.5 kg in june 2010 and it is under warranty for 4 years. however it is not working properly.appr. 10-12 days its gate refused tom open. after complaint lodging , technician said motar will be replaced. however repeated contacts on phone only gives empty promises and no work. machine model is serena sx 5.5 kg front load washing machine serial no is 017450 purchased from kashipur , uttarakhand

        i have got a i.f.b. washing machine namely serena 5.5

        however it is not working properly. Appr. 15 days back its gate refused to open and machine stopped working.

        after complaint lodging, technician said motar and gate will have to be changed .Further the technician said that we will have to pay for gate replacement, because plastic parts are not under warranty.
        however I may say that company advertises and has a printd sticker on its machine that it has a 4 year warranty which is 100 %. Now if it it does not cover plastic parts then how is it 100 % warranty. Is it not a case of misleading advertising and cheating.
        Noew 15 days have elapsed and repeated contacts on phone only gives empty promises and no replacement of motar / gate is done.

        For last 10 DAYS ONE MR.DEEPAK FROM COMPANY CONTINUE TO SAY THAT IT WILL RESOLVE ON THIS OR THAT DATE BUT NOTHING HAS HAPPENED

          Sub: Continuous F5 error since the day the dish washer machine was bought viz. 18.06.2012 Customer ID - 3438594 I had purchased a IFB dishwasher machine model Neptune DX on 18.06.2012 from Viveks, Adyar and since the date of purchase till today ie 04.08.2013, the machine is constantly not working flashing a F5 error. The convenience o[censored]sing a dishwasher is close to NIL for me as the dishes are being washed manually. I have raised several complaints till date through your call centre which is forwarded by them to a service franchisee, “M/s True Care”, no – 2/500, AGS Colony, 3rd Main Road, Kottivakkam, Chennai – 600041, who have provided extremely unsatisfactory service. The service engineer/personnel is always sent after a minimum of 10 days everytime a service compliant is raised, after several follow up calls from my side, though the call centre executive promises that the compliant will be attended in a maximum of 2 working days. Ms. Priya, the Tamilnadu Service Head of IFB gives different reasons like service engineers are not available/ service engineer have gone for attending training, the latest being “we are short of Service Engineers”. The service engineers who have turned up are under trained and have very poor knowledge asking me for suggestions on how to service the machine except on one occasion where executive seemed to be knowledgeable The following are some of the reference numbers of Complaints raised by me : 9927577, 10005652, 10299260, 10308633, 10463032, 10562624, 10799754. The complaint raised on 05.06.2013 with reference number – 10562624 has not been attended till date(even after 2 months time) and status of the complaint as mentioned by the customer care executive today is “CANCELLED – WITHOUT ATTENDING” . All the above complaints pertain to the same issue viz F5 error which renders the machine completely useless and unable to clean any dishes. My dish washer machine is clearly a faulty piece which needs to be replaced immediately and this has been communicated several times over the phone to the customer care centre as well as Ms. Priya for which we have not received any satisfactory response or assistance in resolving this issue. I hope it is now very apparent that the service and customer care of IFB is completely below par and on most times non-existent, there is no process to track and close customer complaints on time, there is no acknowledgement that the machine is defective and not once has the service engineer provided us a copy of the Job Sheet. I request you to consider this complaint immediately and resolve my complaint by replacing the machine at the earliest. In case the issue is not resolved to my satisfaction within the next few days I will be taking legal assistance for the mental agony I have undergone and financial loss I have suffered.

              My IFB washing machine is under AMC It is under repair from 15.8.2013. I logged a complaint on 16. 8 .2013.at helpline and the complaint No is10751039 They assured me that a technician will attend the complaint with in 24 hours.Nobody has attended the complaint till 28.8.2013 .I again made a complaint on 28.8.2013 and its complaint NO is 10783776 .At the time of making second complaint I came to know my previous complaint was closed stating that there was no response from the customer concerned. This is a fraudulant statement of your technician.I am a retired joint secretary to Govt and my wife is also a retired teacher .Both of us are always in the house to lookafter my grand son . On 29.8 2013 Mr. ANAND one of your technician has contacted me overphone that he will attend the repair work today.But nobody has turned up till 1.9.2013. IFB technicians became very fraud .They violated the terms and conditions of the AMC The IFB customers have also lost there hope In view of the above position I request you to take appropriate action against the fraud technician and to take nesessary steps to comply with the AMC or there is no other way except to approach the consumer court and the press media for wide publicity in the matter.

                purchased washing machine ELENA DX 5.5Kg at jhansi u.p. on 27/12/2008 with a warranty of 5 years. It was not working properly since purchase. many complaints regarding poor quality of wash of white n other clothes were made with the local dealer and customer complaint call centre of company but of no satisfactory response.Iam now going to file a case at consumer forum jhansi.

                  I am residing at No.70/54, 6th street, Kamaraj nagar , Avadi , Chennai.71 I am owning a Front loading washing machine IFB make model Senorita with serial number 42621 and the customer code for AMC/matrix is 1950998. My washing machine is faulty now having some sounds while operation and I have complained in customer care the no[protected] today morning at 10 ' A.M [20/8/13]. My complaint number is 10760756.AMC doneby MATRIX on 21/11/11. on 21st a technician K.Ramadoss, [protected] came and told board has to be changed. from 22 nd to till date I am talking through phone customer care .[protected], [protected]repeatedly for more than a week. daily they are telling tomorrow they will come. but no one has turned up.A company having such a branded name and it seems to have such a poor service. I kindly request your goodself to attend the fault as early as possible.

Microwave oven some parts should to be change but company has refusing to provide free of services and refusing to change parts which was damage due to technical problem.                       I purchased an IFB washing machine in August 2012 with 4 yr extended warranty and during the annual service time on 3rd August, some problem was detected due to which the washing machine was not spinning. The washing machine is still not working and after many calls to the servicing guy as well as the customer care, after 3 weeks, no one has come to repair it. I have never seen such lack of customer centricity. Product is good but if the servicing is so pathetic, I don't think I will recommend IFB to anyone.

                        The last time I have raised a complaint for regarding issue in IFB washing machine was in April 22 2013 and after continuous follow up and complaint,a technician came and resolved the issue.Its not even 3 months ,again have the same problem.Not sure of kind of technicians they send.Now again I have same problem with my IFB washing machine and same problem with IFB customer care.I have registered a complaint last Saturday that is on 10-AUg and was said it would be resolved in 48hrs. But as usual no one responded after that.Even after continuous call to customer care they provide a number of Bangalore service,first of all no one picks the call on that number,by luck after continuous call if someone picks the call they redirect the call to other person and its the same process where you go on calling with no one taking responsibility, just redirecting with our money been wasted on call and our issue been not resolved.

                        I am really very unhappy and regret for buying IFB product.I repent for not taking advice of my friend who was already IFB customer and had warned me of IFB customer care and service..I think if there was any award like the NDTV worst customer service award,I am sure IFB would win with no competitors.
                        Last time I registered a complaint for bad customer service I was called continuously for taking back the complaint,But this time I would not be doing so.
                        The worst customer service and every time they have only one answer Regret the inconvenience and it would be not be repeated ,but next time again its same problem...call customer care continuously and they redirecting to different people and no one responding......Its better to shutdown the customer care centre then having one like this.Bangalore,Whitefield IFB service is the worst......I have never seen such pathetic service with any of my other products with other customer.....I strongly recommend "NO" to any of IFB products

                          Dear readers,

                          AS a consumer, I don't suggest IFB washing machine for India. Please don't buy it. my experience is horrible and frustrating. I have been calling the service mechanic every alternative months for last 2 years. From the day, when we purchased, it was not working properly. I have always calling the Service personnel every alternative months.

                          IFB marketing technique worse than meter interest. The personnel who used to come will fix a target to collect atleast 3000 to 4000 Rs on each visit. he will always say, to solve the problem, you have to put filter, additional power supply card etc. the filter and power supply card will last only for 3 months. again you will have to call them and this time he will tell some other story. This is inspite of taking AMC and AMC charges is also very high. The frustrating part is , I have spent more than the cost of washing machine in last 2 years. but even then it is not working properly.

                          Just thinking of throwing the IFB washing machine in the dustbin and planning to buy a new one.

                          In a simple word, IFB washing machine is a "USELESS CRAP"

                            This is regarding IFB SENORITA DX 5.5 KG washing machine , i am owning this machine from past 4 years. I dont have any complaint with IFB company or the product.
                            I have an issue with the service providers for maintence of the machine.
                            The service provided by the IFB franchise person in the Bellary city, Karnataka is very BAD . I hope the service person is monopoly in the Bellary city.
                            He missguide the Customers not to call the service center insted to call him directly on his cell and he attend and resolve the issues.
                            Till Today from 5 years no Job card, service report or customer copy is given to Customer.
                            They dont maintine any records regarding the service provided to the machine or take the feed back from the customer .
                            During the time of AMC renewal, He will never give the AMC Bill or recepit immidetly to the Customer .
                            will take more than 3 or 4 months to give that Bill after repetedly following up.
                            I have recomanded almost 10 persons to go for IFB washing machines in Bellary , but due to this service person i am really loosing my Good will in the people and even the IFB company is loosing it .
                            Please concentrate on this issue as soon as possible so that IFB should not loose the valuble customers and their trust due to the IFB franchise persons .

                              I have given the complaint on 25.07.2013 and complaint no. 11177561 for the changing of conveyer belt of IFB Washing Machine (Model Name Digital Ex 6 Kg). After 5 days, one person has visited house and he told, your machine not working condition. it may be big problem in the machine. Before, 7 days machine was working properly. Suddenly, he told some part may be demand from our HO.

                              Afterward, Nobody has visited till date.

                              IFB not taken care of Customers and post sales service is also very poor.

                              Still, my problem not solved till date

                                IFB MOCROWAVE OVEN — Non-working of IFB Oven

                                I had purchased a microwave oven (IFB brand) from CROMA, Link Road, Malad (West) in March 2008. However, since 26th December 2008, the same is showing problems and not working properly. I have lodged several complaints with CROMA and IFB, but in vain. CROMA person Mr. Vikas (Mob.: [protected]) always promises but no one attends the call. Several complaints have also been lodged with the IFB call centres but in vain.

                                Microwave Oven — oven not working

                                this is in reference to complaint No. 816414.
                                Engineer visited on 06th August'2009. He just came to visit. And was very keen to have the visiting
                                charges.
                                The fault according to engineer in motor has to be replaced. But without solving the problem he took the visiting charges of Rs. 350.
                                But till today, no feedback. on calling on 12th, they say that it will take one week to replace the
                                motor.
                                It is a pity that such a comapny having a good brandname take such a long time

                                  DEAR MR NEGI

                                  I HAD DONE MY AMC WITH IFB WASHING MACHINE AFTER THE LAPSE OF WARRANTY IN DECEMBER. FROM FEBRUARY TILL DATE THEIR HAS BEEN ATLEAST 6 COMPLAINTS BEING MADE AND ATTENDED FOR THE SAME ISSUE IE NOISE IN WASHING MACHINE WHICH IS TOTALLY UNBEARABLE.

                                  THE DIAGNOSIS BEING MADE IS ISSUE WITH GEAR ASSEMBLY AND ALL I GET IS ATTENDENCE OF THE TECHNICIAN AND THAT'S IT. EITHER THEY ARE HERE JUST TO GIVE ATTENDENCE OR MAKE FUN O[censored]S IS SOMETHING TO THINK OVER.

                                  TO MENTION FEW COMPLAINT NO. BEING 2644638, 11070464, 11167735 AND INTERESTINGLY EACH AND EVERY COMPLAINT IS CLOSED WHILE THE ISSUE IS STILL THEIR.

                                  IS THIS JUST A FORMALITY THAT YOU ARE DOING BY SETTING UP YOUR SERVICE NETWORK, SINCE I AM MADE TO BELIEVE IT.

                                  I THINK OF JUST SCRAPPING THE PRODUCT IN A GUTTER OR LOADING THE VIDEO OF THE EXCELLENT NOISE THAT IFB WASHING MACHINE IS DOING IN YOUTUBE OR MAYBE EVEN GO LEGAL BECAUSE THIS IS CERTAINLY NOT THE WAY A COMPLAINT OR CUSTOMER PLIGHT NEEDS TO BE HANDLED.

                                  MY CURRENT COMPLAINT NO BEING 11251137 WHICH HAS BEEN GIVEN TO ME AFTER I CAME TO KNOW THAT MY PREVIOUS COMPLAINT HAS BEEN CLOSED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE AND CORRECTION AND THE SAME COMPLAINT CAN'T BE OPEN,,,,,,,,

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — Untrained Technicians

                                  For last two months i am having trouble with IFB washing m/c. But technicians are not able to resolve it.
                                  i have purchased WM-senoritaDix IFB Washing machine serial no56299 on dt[protected] from direct IFB ahmedabad Mkt 07-08office.invoice no srt/retail/43/09-10.from begining machine having high vibration, huge noise like machine gun firring, reported to consumer care, send untrained technician, does not competend to attend the fault, and more pity surat does not have any service centre by company own, and given such contract to handle the sevice centre by untrained man. by purchasing ifb washing machine i throw my money in to drain.

                                    CUSTOMER CARE TOOK THE COMPLAINT ON 18TH MAY
                                    VISITING SERVICE GUYS COULD NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM
                                    THEY COLLECTED A SPARE PART AND CLOSED THE COMPLAINT WITHOUT INTIMATING US
                                    THEY COLLECTED THE MACHINE ON 6 JUNE FOR COMPANY SUPPORT
                                    NEVER CALL US TO UPDATE THE STATUS. WHEN WE CALL THEY SAY FEW DAYS
                                    ITS UNDER AMC TOO
                                    SERIOUS CRIME IS CLOSING THE STATUS OF COMPLAINT BEFORE DELIVERING THE MACHINE
                                    WHO WILL PAY OUR STRAIN WITHOUT THE SERVICE AND DELAY

                                        Dear Customer Care,

                                        We have been using couple of IFB appliance for past few years. Recently we got a huge problem with our Microwave oven. Unfortunately it has happened just after the warranty period is over. The Microwave got rust all over the outside wall we have no clue of the root cause of the problem. We asked for the servicing and the service man informed us that they can not do anything with his problem and the only solution is to change the body.

                                        But even with the rust the microwave was working properly, but few days back the microwave started sounding horribly and there was smoke all over. We again booked a call, the service man came and replaced the motor which cost me. During this time, to our surprise we had identified that there is rust even inside also. I am pretty sure that this microwave is going to die in few days.

                                        I was wondering whether a product from a renowned company like IFB has a life of only 2 years. Anyway, if you can suggest something to linger the life of this microwave that would be very helpful.
