Dear Sir

I am IFB washing machine customer purchased IFB Elite Dx 5.5 Kg on 03.11.2010 in BEA,Coimbatore. As the washing machine had a problem and its not in running state which was seen by the service engineers on 21.05.2013 and they told that the motor coil has to be replaced and promised to replace within a couple of days. But regularly I am calling for the past 1 week and the response from the service center is pathetic and they are told earlier that its out of stock and after a long struggle they came and fitted a new motor, but it was not in running state a week before and still they have not responded properly .If this is the case it should be replaced immediately or proper response to be given to customers . Mr. Shanmugam (Mob. No. [protected]),Manager, Service division is neither not responding to the call or to the SMS which was sent nearly 10-15 times. Followed by that I have taken this issue to the Coimbatore Divisional manger Mr.Nandha,Manager,IFB Point - [protected]. I feel that both of them are not responsible to their job or to the customer. If this is the case how I will recommend IFB Product to my known persons ? I am struggling to get serviced . Kindly take necessary action on the same .I thought of filing a case in consumer court. Kindly do the needful. Thanks.

Came for service Mr Vasim,SE ( [protected]) on 10.06.13 @ 2.30pm. After service machine was not in running state and called t Mgr. Shanmugam and his mobile was switched off between ( 3.30pm - 5.30pm) continuously tried to his mobile and connect to him by 5.07pm. He promised to get bac to me and not called and called him on 11.06.13 @ 2.31pm and he promised to call me today @ 5.30pm.

IFB WASHING MACHINE — complaints not attended- poor response

i had lodge complain for leakage of water which was attended after 3 days.my machine is under contract.for repair i spent Rs 1375/- NO SOONER they repaired the machine, it started making loud cranking noise during tumble dry. for the same my complaint no. is 2530330 dt 11/12/08, which was attended after 3 days but only name sake. i am unsatisfied customer, not expecting this unproffesionalism from a reputed company like IFB.

I am from ludhiana. Punjab. having a IFB wm 7.0 KG Digital washing machine. purchased on[protected] from Bedi Electronics. Ludhiana. I had been calling for last 15 days to service centre of IFB ludhiana. for repairing my washing machine. I had made complaint to ludhina head office too . my complaint no. is 3528064. last year i take amc then ther is no response for service. the engg. promised before amc we service this machine two times in one year but no body come for service.

i think your sevice is very very poor in india compare to other.in future id not suggest to purchase the ifb products.

IFB /ELITE DX WASHER — NON INSTALLATION

Dear Sir;
I purchased a washing machine of IFB on 3rd Nov from Aditya Vision, Bailey Road Patna vide
memo no AMA/Nov/59. The sales man Anuj assured me that the engineer will install it by 4th Nov.
But even after 3 days the concerned peerson has failed to turn up.
Every time I talk to the sales man he again promises that he is just sending the concerned fellow. Please

IFB Supremo 5.5 KG — Not attended for 2 Weeks

I have a IFB Supremo 5.5 KG under AMC
made compalint on Dec 15 2010 for heater has not been solved only once engineer visited for this( Complaint No 5567726)

then another compaint lodged for no spin on Jan 24 2011 under complaint no 5792697
no one has turned up till today we talk to cordinator Ms. Gitanjili on daily basis
she commits that sone-one will come tomorrow but tomorrow never comes.
dont know what to do please help.

IFB — non attending the service

Sir,
I purchased IFB Senator 6kg front load washing machine in 2008 with 2 year warranty.
Recently, the spin function of machine stopped working
Given complaint with toll free number.
some body from Nellore service center came and asked for AMC for one year.
I got in to AMC.
subsequently, he told that with in a weeks time, after getting the spares, servicing will be done.
Even after 6 weeks, no body turned up.

    Complaint no. 10896964 logged on 5th June - It is 7 days since I raised a complaint regarding the mal-function of my washing machine (Digital 6 kgs - front load) till date no action has been taken on this. The customer service of IFB is so pathetic that even speaking to the customer care manager (Mr. Vignesh) has no effect, In the last 3 calls that I have made to him he has just been making false promises of immediate action but no technician has turned up.

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — No response to complaint

    Hi there,

    We contacted the customer helpline number for IFB washing machines and contacted the customer care executive for our washing machine on 12/9/2008. The complaint number provided by the executive is 2173755. Since then we have been following up with the company everyday but till date no one has come to attend our complaint. The service engineer or technician have not checked our machine even once.

    We put in a complaint for the machine as the drier and the drums are not functioning properly. There is lot of noise and vibration taking place. Also the machine lock has become very tight.

    This is very upsetting and cannot be expected from a company of IFB level.

    You are requested to look into the matter on an urgent basis and please do revert.

    IFB WASHING M/C — No Response from IFB Service Care

    I have two complaints for IFB washing machine since last 15 days and there is not any result come out from the IFB Technician Faridabad division.Whenever I asked for the complaints they said there is not any Complain log in by there Cutomer care executives and when I call back to the executives they replied they have already forwarded my complaints to the concern person of my locality i.e Faridabad.
    Still we are awaiting and log in complaints on daily basis to the IFB Customer Care and IFB Technician.Please help us out.

    IFB WASHING M/C — Not washing properly/wrinkles more

    Hi, i have given 2to 3 complaints to customer care, instead of solving my problem, their service engg. sold some anti scaling products to us and went. Till now our problem of wrinkle after wash and cloths are not washing properly. Please let us know some senior people from the company who can answers our problem and solve the issue.

    I dont know, what is the use of complaining. Anyway i complained tht my washing machine is not workin, my complaint number is 3256701, complained before 5 days, stupid service of IFB, i will surely recommend my friend and family member not to buy IFB anymore.     Washing Machine — NO RESPONSE 3 OVER COMPLAINT

    IFB WASHING MACHINE — NO response in customer care

    I am a resident of coimbatore, there is a problem in my washing machine for the past four days, since then i am trying to call customer care of IFB, a personnel directed me to this customer care number, but nobody is attending the call and the call is costing, , if they cant respond to calls made to this number why is it still active? poor service.. i hope the concerned authorities take some action else they`ll lose their reputation.

      They are cheaters. I will not leave them.

        IFB — Worst Customer Service

        Hi,
        I own IFB washing machine Diva. My uncle he had made payment to IFB dealer at his town, Satara (Maharashtra), and wanted to get delivered it in Ahmadabad (Gujarat) at my place as it was gift. Since then I am facing no. of problems with IFB services, which are really horrible.

        1. After payment it took more than 2 months and number of follow-ups to get this machine delivered to me in Ahmedabad. I think you IFB guys talk about multiple shipping option. Atleast IFB web sites says so!!

        2. After some days when I am trying to get it installed from IFB service agent they are charging me Rs. 300. He is saying it is against some products, detergent & some other poweder, which IFB is selling. Is IFB going for bankruptcy so they are finding new ways to accumulate money?

        3. IFB service guy is also saying that if I don’t pay Rs. 300 for these products my machine will not come under warranty. Are IFB machines so bad in quality?

        4. Today again I got call from IFB service guy saying that if I want to install my machine on stand, stand has to be purchased from them only otherwise machine will not come under warranty. I understand if some problem arises due to my mistake or bad stand used by me then it’s my responsibly but how can you guys dare to sell these products by threatening about warranty. I had already asked for your stand in Sales India & Next stores, they do not keep these stands. You shall make these stands/trolleys available everywhere.

        5. Machine’s water inlet hose’s connection to normal water tab is not easily possible. Have you stopped thinking about ergonomics & customer’s ease? Over and above you do not provide other fittings required for connection along with machine. Is there severe cost cutting going on?

        Earlier I was going thinking of purchasing IFB dish washer but after such horrible experiences, I have decided not to purchase any IFB product & make my friends aware of these problems.

        Thanks for contacting me. Service engineer visited at my place on Tuesday 5th June (after 4 days from purchase date).

        I have following suggestion to improve your customer service.

        1. Currently the online mechanism for contacting IFB is not working. Link "http://www.ifbappliances.com/get-in-touch.html" should be properly tested before available to customer.
        2. Always provide reference no for complaints logged irrespective of complaints lodged by online or by phone.
        3. I do agree, some delay may occurs to visit customer place but it should be properly communicated to customer in advance. Your service representative told me to visit on 1st Jun then he committed to visit on 3rd Jun and finally he arrived on 4th Jun. It ruins my weekend as well as my working day.
        4. Service engineer should be properly trained in customer handling. I also purchased a IFB washing m/c along with refrigerator, both service engineers, visited to my place were in extremely hurry. They even didn’t go through all advance features available on both goods. Now I am reading the manual for proper understanding.
        5. If some parts need to purchase like extension inlet pipe for washing m/c, it should be delivered to customer along with bill. Here in my case no bill is provided by service engineer for inlet pipe.
        6. There is no way for online product registration so please remove it in your manual and stickers pasted on goods.

        I appreciate your response and taking personal attention on this complain. I received call from customer service within a day and they apologies for inconvenience due to some unavoidable circumstances. Service engineer visited again for re-demo and his cordial behavior is very impressive. It boosts again my loyalty on IFB appliances and their customer service.

              We had purchased IFB washing machine model Elena DX 5.5 kg on 20/01/2009. The warranty period for the same was till 19/01/2013. Our experience for this product has been extremely painful. Below are the series of times this machine had to be repaired.
              During the warranty period itself the machine broke down abd was repaired twice or thrice. Since it was i the guarantee period we were not charged.
              Later on 2nd Jan 2013 again the machine stopped working and we made a complaint (machine was in warranty period). After repeated calls for several days the technician came and changed the rubber, sleeve and V-belt and charged us Rs. 1900/-. Also he didn't return the faulty parts. This has created an impression that may be those parts are repaired and used again.
              Again on 15th March 2013, the washing machine got spoilt. The engineer after examining the machine gave an estimate of Rs. 7,150/-. Since the Tub, V belt, shock absorber, MSO card had to be replaced. Thinking that since almost everything in the machine has been changed we paid the amount expecting it to work fine. However again we were wrong.
              On 1st week of May again, the machine started giving problems. I gave in a complain but was said by Mr.Manjunath that the technician was going to his native place and he will be coming only after two weeks. No other technician was sent so our complaint remained unattended. Till last week no one came to have a look. Then after repeated calls on Tuesday 21st May 2013, the technician came and said that the V-belt needs to be replaced again.
              We are really angry, upset that a reputed company like IFB is giving such product and service.
              Before IFB machine, we had Whirlpool washing machine and it worked without any complaints for 10 years. We regret going in for IFB brand and will never recommend to anyone henceforth.

              I have an annual maintenance contract with IFB. But since the last three weeks, the company has been giving false promises that the machine will be set right. Every time I call, they give a new date, and when I call on the date they promised to come, they give a new date saying that the motor part is not in stock.
              Imagine having a machine at home that is not working. Could you please take up this issue strongly with the company. Like me there are many customers who are made to dance. Without a proper service back up and spare parts

              The technician came in and repaired the washing machine after I lodging this complaint, however again since 2-3 days the machine has started giving problems. All this is such a torture/harassment for Senior Citizens. My parents stay alone and they had taken this machine for their convenience but this is actually a nuisance for them. They didn't keep a maid for clothes since they had the machine, however my Mom now who is above 60 years, has to wash it herself.
              My dad received a call from IFB company and the lady just asked if the machine was working fine now. However it was too early for him to comment if the machine was working fine since it was only a day or two since it was repaired. And he said the same thing to her. However after that there was no follow up from their end.
              Now its just 10 days and again the machine has gone for a toss. They have been trying to call the company technician, however there is no response from their end.
              I think some one Senior person from the company should look into this matter. I think the reputation of the company is at stake with the number of complaints that are being reported regarding IFB washing machines and some serious action needs to be taken to save the repo of the company.

              I hope to get some good response and some action done regarding this complaint.

                  Purchased ifb water purifier, model xiro, in thee monthe of february 2012.
                  It was confirmed theat theey shall be giving 4 services during thee first year as free and latter on as on call withe minimal charges.

                  I received only 3 services. Thee fourthe was due in jan 2013 which never was given. For thee paid service, a request was filed on 11the of march and nobody has attended to it after weekly reminders. Every time thee call centre employee says" we are sorry, we are not sure why thee complain is not taken up, we have passed your complaints to our managers and it shall be taken care in a weeks time"...

                  But notheing has been taken care till date.
                  It shows how poor the after sale service is of thee company.

                  But i am still stuckup withe theeir product and have to live withe it (Its quite costly...)

I complaint to replace the machine, But they said its small problem.

                      After nine months again under repair this time timer repair the machine program is not moving. So, requested them to please replace the machine.
                      But Mr. Naga Sai an executive his way of speaking is not good with the customer & his reply is the last time itself you could have replaced the machine.

                      Because of IFB machine I suffered a lot, like damage of cloths, waste of electric charges.
                      But now I am pretending why I have not taken Sumsuag.

                          I have palace a compliant vide ticket no 2388434 on 5.11.2008 the mechnaic who attended said the timer is not in order and promised to attend in a couple of days. my repeated request gets only wait for 2 more days reply. I am under amc and this clearly shows that machines under amc only get step motherly treatment and i cannot understand when a company like IFB does this

                          This is to inform you that I purchase a washing machine model no Sonoreta Dx from one of your dealer Ashoka Trading Co, Faridabad dated 11-01-09. It has been assured me from the dealer that with in 24 Hrs representative from IFB will come and conduct demo about the machine. Next day[protected] around 2:07 I received a call from [protected] about his visit for demo at 6:30 pm., but after 1 hrs waiting say about 7;30 pm when I call in the same no I got reply he has some problem with his vehicle.
                          Next day 13-01-09 I made call more than 50 times to your above said dealer and your service center Mr.Pradeep ([protected]) Mr.paras ([protected]) and Miss –([protected]) but no action taken by none.
                          I spend Rs.18, 500 to purchase this machine just not for keep as show piece, and second thing I am working with a privet concern in project department as Sr. Engineer project and I suppose to be at site by today evening[protected]. Due to your service I have to postponed my trip for another one week which will effect in my carrier in the coming future as well I lose money Rs.1000 per day. Who will compensate these all loss?.

                          has not been attended to despite daily follow-up with the helpline of ifb and the contact persons as suggested by the helpline executives. My AMC is due to expire on[protected]. Is the delay intentional

                            I have an IFB washing machine front loader which is purchased from IFB six year back. Since Decemeber 2012, the machine has been tearing my clothes and has caused damaged to me in thousands. I have a complete warranty cover with them. Despite constant complaints to the company, they have not been able to fix the issue and their service provider GR power in South Delhi has provided the worst customer service with no solution to the issue. They have been arrogant and unhelpful with no solution to offer to the issue and I have had to spend another Rs. 30,000 to buy a new washing machine.

                            IFB should not only refund me the amount for this new purchase but also refund me money for the clothes that this IFB machine has damaged.

                            I recently had a very bad experience with IFB's dealer G. R. Power (East of Kailash, New Delhi). Their service executive, Manoj, is extremely arrogant and unprofessional. I request IFB to take serious note of it as it leaves a bad impression of IFB.

                            Firstly we were given false promises and then ill treated by the customer executive.

                            Look forward to positive response from IFB and hope such incidents will not take place in future.

                                I called your IFB care number close to 5 times. And made around 8 unsuccessful calls to franshisees, who neither picked nor responded. I had to call one frnachisee for 4 times, when finally hte guy admitted he is a security guard, cant do much. Your executives don't know anything apart from fwding the ticket to some franchisee on the basis of PIN code. And that franchisee never cares to inform anyone or customer that the area doesn't come under it's purview. I keep making calls to IFB care, they keep do the fwd job to same franchisee. After a good shout on my 4th call it has been escalated to a wrong franchisee again. Thanks god, i had the number of the guy who had installed it. On contacting him, he took 2 days to come and see my m/c. As per him the ticket never reached him, but he is attending it on Courtsey. Appreciated

                                First technician visit on: 12.04.13. He fixes it. After he left within 15 mins i realized it has stopped rotating again. Calling him helped, he says - "it needs a belt change"

                                Events of 13.04.13:

                                Morning your same technician calls me to raise a ticket so that he can get the spare belt and asks me to generate the ticket to BTF franchisee Whitefield. When i call the IFB care and asked again and again to put the ticket to BTF only, he showed his helplessness - "Sir, i cant do much. System chooses the franchisee. You dont worry, mechanic aayega na." Then he hung up.

                                Now the trauma begins.

                                Calling the same technician again and again to know what next, whom to call. That morning i got exposed to lot of dirty area politics -"thats not my area, you call this number", "Sir, you call this guy and blast then only your ticket would move from them to us"; God! you guys call yourself an international brand. After 7-8 calls to the same technician he agreed that finally the ticket reached his franchisee but there is no belt in stock. He would be updated by his manager by 16th on the status.

                                Promised, something will be updated not resolved by : 16.04.13

                                I immediately demanded a m/c replacement. If a major component of a brand new m/c conks off within 2 months and the waiting period could touch 15 days for repair. I couldn't risk it for future such breakdowns or neither anyone would want his family go through the trauma of chasing.

                                Again after making 2 calls, i finally got the number of the guy Mr Prasad who was supposed to be the area in-charge for me. He was such a joker. He didnt have any idea of whats wrong with the customer and starts off with "One second, one second.. blah blah!!" I demanded a m/c replacement and asked him to tell me who is the guy in authority to be spoken to. After several attempts of evading to hear whats the problem and why i am disgusted, he agreed he is the guy who can take a call for replacement but he won't. He wanted his same technician to have a look at it and confirm.

                                It was disgusting a proposal, as the engineer had already visited and he had agreed that i could demand a replacement if a new m/c goes down this way. This Prasad guy had no knowledge of hearing and consoling a customer. I was not up for more time wasting for engineer visits and useless phone talks, but certainly i was at the pick of my frustration to shout dumbass to this guy, and hung up.

                                Next he calls me after 15 mins to pick up a fight - "You cant talk to me like that with vulgar words." I simply asked get me the numbe rof the guy who listens and have the authority to change mym/c. He was in no mood to listen, rather i had to clarify its not a vulgar word, it means stupid. Had to explain why! after 12 days of waiting and 25 calls he couldn't understand why someone should call him stupid.

                                Not only that, he dared to threaten me afterwards- "where is your house boss? Indiranagar? I'm coming". And he hung up.

                                Assume that was the end of the trauma that you get exposed pathetic customer response and GOONs!

                                A customer would need a lot of guts to buy IFB product and face all the painful scenarios to survive the clientship.

                                I've asked your engineer to not to come with the belt. I cant risk going through the same issues again in future, and hence PLEASE REPLACE.

                                A little literacy for your area in-charge Mr Prasad on humility would be welcome.

                                IFB senorita — IFB washing Machine - Service technicians don't visit

                                I took an AMC for my IFB washing machine in Feb 2010. The Machine was making sounds & i complained on 9th july. The service centre & the customer care did not resposn to this for over one & half months. Every time i would call, they promise to visit the next day but never come.
                                Finally on 18th august they came & replaced the motor. After replacing the motor, the machine has almost stopped working. Again, the customer care is indifferent and the technicians dont come despite repeated calls. Now they disconnect the minute they see my number.
                                I am struggling to get the machine fixed & i have already taken a 2 year AMC. So its 5000 rs down the drain.

                                  I had purchased IFB washing Machine Model: DIGITAL 5.5, SR. NO. WT DIG5.5KG B 005572 on 03/06/2009.
                                  From installation, this machine is series of troubles. Almost every major item has been replaced methodically, but in vain. The service personnel are not so friendly and they always see how to charge the customer, even though he is in warranty or AMC. The incharge personnel also not suggestive but quarrelsome and in no time they can make customer go mad.
                                  Since, the problem is not solved even after a month, one can imagine the troubles and problems that may arise in a family.
                                  Now I can understand why every other new company is improving it sales year by year and why the good old IFB is looking its ground slowly. May god save this IFB in India.

                                    I have Lodged the complaint on 03/4/13 for Door lock problem to customer care and the complaint Number is 10421132. I was told it will be resolved in 48 hrs. But no body responded from the service side. Again I called on 05.04 and I was told they will come next day but there was no response.And It continued on 06th and 07th. But today I was told the complaint is cancelled. I did not get proper response from them about the cancellation and they are not aware why it is cancelled and who has cancelled, I want immediate response from IFB home appliances.

                                        Complaints Not Attended. Washing Machine is under AMC
                                        I own an IFB fully automatic washing machine, executive elite 5 Kg customer no.912736. I registered for Annual Maintenance Contract vide the Invoice No.663,[protected] dated[protected]. The contract is valid up to[protected]. I made a complaint on 19 feb 2013 stating that the Washing Machine is vibrating. The complaint number is[protected]. IFB service personnel who came and inspected the Machine said dampinger needs to be changed. After repeated calling on 23 March 2013 the personnel changed the dampinger but after fitting water stated to leak from all sides- then he said motherboard and valve needs to be changed and again I am calling and calling....

                                        I regret to state that there was absolutely no response from the IFB side. I have made so many phone calls to your service centers in Chennai and every time they use to say that the Mechanic will come and rectify. As there was no action, I contacted the Toll Free Number at Bangalore and also the Customer Care at Chennai. They, on their part, assured that they will contact and inform the Mechanic and that the fault will be attended immediately.

                                        I think the AMC period will just pass like this. There is no action despite so many repeated calls to the customer service centers at Chennai and Bangalore. Only wastage of money through so many phone calls. I am totally disappointed by their customer care. There is no responsible answer to my calls and they were so rude that even my calls were not attended to.

                                        In spite of buying the machine and also paying for the AMC, I am not able to use it for the past so many days. In addition to that I am spending my time and money on my calls to the customer care centers.

                                        If a Customer of IFB Washing Machine, particularly with an AMC is made to suffer like this for months together, What is the use of purchasing the IFB washing machine and what is the use of paying Rs.4812/- towards AMC? What is the use of having a Customer Care wing without any action or use?

                                        I am residing in mumbai, I have booked a complaint on 8 sep 08 Engineer call up on 13 sep 08, we were not at home so he agreed to come on monday 15 sep 08 but he didn't arrived. So we again called the IFB support the engineer had closed the call without attending. So again we had booked but still no response. What is the use of AMC when such a good product IFB is producing, should keep the After sales and AMC services in upto mark. My Ticket no :2157963

                                        I M.Sitharaman,Hyderabad(Customer Code#699121) had raised a complaint on 3rd of June,2010(actually raised on 27th of may,but as per the customer care the complaint was only registered on 3rd of June) regarding the functionality of timer of my washing machine.I was un attended on my complaint for about a week and after lot many calls to customer care about 10days after the date of booking complaint a person from the company came to have a look at the machine.After that no care was taken about the machine and when made a call to the certain Reena and Pradeep of Hyderbad service centre,they respond with a casual "will be done by this week sir"!!!.This has been my worst experience with a service department and would like the company concerned authorities to take care of the service they provide else the name of the company will be spoilt as now.

                                        I F B Washing Machine ( Executive ) — Complaint not being attended on AMC

                                        We have been getting AMC for the subject machine on regular basis and the latest AMC No: 199989 valid upto 31st March 2012. We have observed that from last 2 years the service have been detoriatiing and the level is now beyond the level that its difficult to cope up with the same. The complaint was made on 29th Sept'10 complaint No: 5187442 . We came to understand from the call centre that the same has been closed by Mr Manoj but would like to inform that no one visited to attend the same.After that we have been talking to most of the officials but all in vain. Today we have even talked to Mr Parahar ( [protected]) whos has assured to attend the same but it looks like that shall also not be fruitful as the attitude developed by I F B industries is not to provide the service. There is no check on the franchise whether they are providing service or not but the company is only interested in getting profit out of AMC.

                                        Due to defficiency of the services provided by I F B, i would request you to kindly arrange for the refund of AMC amount i.e. Rs 4170/- plus one month wage paid to maid for washing closther and Rs 20000/- as harasment charges.

                                        The same should be passed on to I F B wiothout any notice but as a fine to ensure that other customers donot suffer in the same manner. Also kindly note that since the companies are aware that getting panalised shall take long time as such they are not even scared of consumer forum.

                                        In view of above we would suggest to penalise I F B on the basis of thsi complaint which becomes a lesson for I F B and other companies also so that they start providing proper service.
