20SC2 — MICROWAVE NOT WORKING

I have lodged a complaint with IFB customer care to attend my microwave oven 20SC2 on 29.07.2009 (ticket no[protected]& made several follow-ups there after with customer care,Local Dealer(TS Vision,Vapi),IFB Service Manager Mr Brijesh Nair(Mobile No.-[protected]) & Authorised Service Centre Mr.Pravin Patel([protected]) & .But till date nobody has attended my oven even after passage of two months.

      Drain system not working, water remain logged in tub or container.. even after repeated contcts and calls problem not resoved and remain unattended even after almost 1 month.....no one takes responsibility in solving....citing the excuse that spare part or whatever may be that is not available wit them and telling that it has been ordered at depot.. And the fact is that the depot is only...only 35 kms from bhilai....yet the part has not come till date....
      dont know when it will b solved and we will be able to use the machine again...

        We have ifb sonareta washing machine.

        I have also subscibed for amc as my machine is not under warrantee.

        1) the customer service is very poor over phone they will not provide proper info
        2) service personal does not attend call simply talks over phone and tells no spares available i will come after 1 or 2 weeks.

          My name is Vikrant Agarwal, i am located in Mumbai and i had purchased an IFB Toploader Washing Machine 6501RB 6.2. After few months later from purchase the internal drainage pipe leaked. I registered the complaint and few days later the representatives appear from your service provider name "Global". These guys comes with the hands shaking as they were on holidays, they ask for screw driver from us to open the washing machine. Can you believe that.

          Now when they diagnosed the problem they did a cheap job on it... they had us buy the 5 Rs wala FeviQuick and just bonded the drainage pipe. I had asked them to replace and they started giving me absurd reasons that it was not covered in warranty which when i confronted with person incharge in the office named "Manjunath" told me that it will be replaced but it will take time. I was okay with it.

          Now since that time, In OCTOBER 2012 and this time December 2012 it has not been replaced and the pipe has already started to leak. When i log the complaint... it is marked attended and closed by the same guy Manjunath.

          I tried calling some guys who looks after service providers but they don't respond to phone calls - some one with name Shashank and Sono - numbers - [protected] and 30491825

          This is last request and final warning. if my drainage pipe is not replaced within a weeks time i am going to formal complaint in Consumer Forum with all the above information and evidence.

          I have contacted your service point at coimbatore, Star Engineering, Several times, but very very very poor service.. I feel very bad that i have purchased your washing machine. My friends, who every it may, please do not purchase this particular washing machine. Very poor service.

          I am fAcing a lot of problems with thi service provider...five technicians have come so far and solved the problem..one says something has to be changed..when the next one comes he says its alright and returns ..the next one comes and says something else must be chAnged...when the next person comes he says it's fine and goes back...ultimately the problem is not solved.
          I am not able to reach any top managers..left only to deal with the junior staff who quote sorry innumerable times...I am not looking for a sorry...but to have my machine repaired.I have been with IFB for 25 yrs...but will never ever buy an IFB product again ....first pls change the service provider and ask seniors like Mr.Manoj...to answer the phone when customers call .allow customers to talk to top managers...service provider is happy as long as we are not able to reach top managers and we are left only with your juniors ....who happens to be a different person each time and half the time goes explaining g to each one the problems faced by us....looking for immediate action.

            I am really fed up with the pathetic service of IFB. Despite lodging the complaint for over twelve days, my washing machine is still not rectified. Filmsy reasons are provided by the area customer manager and keeps promising to get the machine repaired, which are not kept once the call is completed. I have called umpteen number of times to IFB call centre and the customer care manager. This is putting me through lot of agony and distress despite spending more than Rs. 32000/-.

            In the end, I am helpless and at the mercy of IFB India. I hope IFB is reading all these complaints and understand how much reputational damage it is incurring for its products.

                  I have an ifb microwave oven. It is damaged for about 4 months. I have submit complant on ifb site once and their worker comed and opened my oven and said that its machine is damaged, you should replace it. I paid him money and he said that he will return in 10 days. But he again never sees. Ifrom then i submit complaints again and again but they are not responding. There customer care is not responding.

                  IFB — Not responding

                  Hi did but IFB serena Sx model 3 months ago on the name of 'Surendranath Reddy' with the mobile number [protected].

                  The machine started well and all of sudden it's not working. the clothes are inside the machine. It's been 5 days. I must have called atleast 10 times during these 5 days. they say "We will update the complaint and will make sure the issue get resolved today itself." And it never happened, And I am sure they are not going to fix this.

                  I am not sure how to and whom to complaint about these. we already paid the amount, and what can we do if they do not fix this.

                  they just robbed the money like this? Can we get justice for this. we paid 22000 Rupess for this machine.
                  And the clothes are inside the machine with surf water, I do not think they are useful anymore.

                  can I get the justice for this?

                  I already in frustation that they didn't respond. I hope atleast you guys respond to me.

                    I purchased a microoven on 10 Nov 2012, which was delivered by M/s EValue, Opposite Gymkhana, Pinto Arcade, Campal, Panaji, Goa which was delivered on 11 Nov 2012. It was installed by engineer on 12 Nov 2012 and he notice that base wheel is missing. Same day evening I complaint to dealer and he promised me to procure same and to call me. After 03 days the microoven starting giving a harsh sound. I complaint to dealer on No [protected], he gave me service centre No [protected] which I called for last one week but no one came to repair it I also told same to dealer again. I also lodge complaint in customer care, the intimated me vide email from [protected]@ifbglobal on 04 Dec that my complaint No is 10276710 and will be solve by two days but not solved till date

                      AMC service, response & resolution time is very very poor.

                      Every time i call the IFB customer care related to a service, they will humbly take up our complaint and will provide us a complaint no. They committ us saying that engineer will respond and attend the issue in 48 hours.

                      But no one will respond till we call back after few days. After our continuos calls, they will say that our issue has been assigned to the local franchise at chennai for service. They will also say that this call will be escalated to the higher levels from customer care and they will convince us somehow. The moment you believe them and keep the phone down thats it. You are again fooled.

                      There will be no response for few days.The franchise no will be busy always or no response. Finally after few weeks some engineer will visit and resolve the problem. If we quarrel at the engineer, he will say that the call has been assigned to him yesterday only and he dont know anything about the issue and bla bla bla....

                      I had registered 2 problems in the last 6 months, the first issue was resolved after a months time and the 2nd issue is yet to be resolved after a week form the date of complaint.

                      Beware of AMC services from IFB who will promise to give moon but nothing will be provided in reality.

                      Only tensions, loss of time and money for customers like us. I hope this forum will help others to be aware of such issues and provide me justice.

                      IFB WASHING MACHINE — AMC service

                      I live in navi mumbai & have an amc for my ifb machine. After several complaints the person visited us & said some parts need to be replaced. After waiting for several days no one turned up to correct the machine. I exchanged the same with a new ifb machine. As my machine was under amc & due to no service i was forced to buy a new machine.                       I have purchased IFB washing machine and it is giving frequent problems under warrnty period. lodged a complaint no. 7155749 on 14.09.2011 and closed the complaint without attending. Lodged followup complaint on 23.09.2011. Visitd the representative and left without attending the problem. Very irresponsible service by IFB. No proper reply by Ahmedabad service center.

                        My IFB Microwave was not working and I called IFB support line for Repair. They sent one Agent to repair that. The person (Md. Bashir) came and went back with a story that he will check the parts at office and comes back. After releatative calls he came back after 7 days and he took the microwave and till today he didnot came back with repaired microwave.

                        Each day my family is calling the IFB call center and the Agency DA Associates ( Phone num :(91 40 [protected] and every day they are telling new stories . But for last 20 days, I am not getting the microwave back.

                        I have the 1 year service warrant from IFB and I am falling under that. My latest complaint number is : 10291587 on 6/12/12. And I have made several complains for this negligence.

                        This is a clear negligence of Service & Support.though I have paid for that. This is breach of contract where this kind of service is not expected.

                        Most funny thing : I have sent the mail to [protected]@ifbglobal.com and that is giving failure notice.

                          IFB / Microwave Oven — not heating anything

                          IFB microwave we have purchase in 2005. modle no is 23SL1R. since last two days it is not heating anything.
                          I am facing the problem with 23 SL 1R IFB Microwave, It is working in reverse order.

                            Pls dont buy IFB Microwave. Service is Pathetic. There is a service centre for Thiruvanmiyur area. they dont attend the call half the time.

                            The incharge name is Saravanan and Madhivannan . When we call Madhivannan, he says he wont respond calls after 6 pm.

                            They canvas to pay amount for AMCs to show their performance. But once we give the cheque, they abscond. Also the technicians say that all parts are replacable. But when we speak to Customer care , they say only few parts are replacable.

                            Our kind advice is not to go for any IFB products in chennai area especially in Thiruvanmiyur.

                              My microwave is not working properly. Ihave put up a complaint an executive came and put some new heating element. But when he left it started making noise. I called him back ,in his visit he said that micrwave is old. But its not even 4 years I have this microwave also the micrwave was not making noise earlier.                               My IFB Microwave's Convection mode is not working.
                              When we call the IFB Toll Free either its busy or they say right now we cannot take the complain
                              please call after some time.
                              So tell me how will problem be rectified.
                              IFB is a brand but the after service of the product is horrible.
                              If you compare price wise also from LG or Samsung its expensive then why is the lacuna in service?

                                IFB front loading washing machine — no visits being made as per AMC

                                Pls note that inspite of an active AMC no one ever visits for any service what so ever. Pls advise concerned to attend

                                I have purchased front lad washing machine from M/s Darshana Agencies, KP Road, Kayamkulam, Alleppey dist, KErala, on 24th August 2008 [bill name Rajesh, Thekkaputhezhathu, Govindamuttom, Kayakulam] as a wedding gift.

                                IFB Front Loading Washing Machine — No heating taking place!!

                                Dear Sir,
                                i have a fully automatic front loading 5.5 Kg IFB washing machine purchased in the year 2000.My AMC No. is 162859.Inspite of repeated reminders no one is coming to attend the complaint.                                 It is in sheer disgustion that I am having to lodge this complaint with your company, in the hope that we would finally have a solution to our problem. My washing machine IFB Senator has not been working since Jan 19, 2011 . The washing machine is under AMC and as per normal procedure,we registered for the same to be repaired. However IFB has of late become very callous with their clients and are not bothered about customers once their product has been sold. Sad to say it is today a month since my washing machine stopped working, and there has been no postive response from the service personnel.

                                My machine AMC is under Perfect Cool who is Franchise of IFB. They have been visiting my home for the past one month. Everytime a new tecnician comes and they find new issue with the machine which is different from what wa diagnosed by earlier Technician.

                                Every time we call them, we are either given an appointment that they don’t keep or with a flimsy excuse that the spare parts are not available. It is appalling to see that a company manufactures machines without ensuring continuous supply of spare parts. If there is no action taken immediately, I am afraid I would have to escalate the matter with the press and the consumer court! IFB service really sucks!

                                  I have been using ifb fully automatic washing machine from eight years, i had just purchased because of the brand name, but service engineers in himachal are spoiling the brand name.
                                  I mean if i m buying one product of ifb that will be my first and last product of ifb. Why

                                  The reason is poor/poorer/poorest after sales service by ifb people.

                                  My compliant wss regarding loud sound by washing machine while washing which seems like washing machine can blast any time. So i had registerd a complaint two months back complaint number was 9675464.

                                  After a weeks time service engineer comes and says the drum has to be replaced and the drum is out of stock. Know the time has passed away we had a word with the engineer his name is arvind. He says their is no drum with the company but i will change on my own rather registing complaint with ifb.
                                  Wich means that he will steal the part and he will ask payment and he will change when he has time. Till know nothing has been done kindly see it

                                      On 22-OCT-2012, I raised a complaint for the washing machine that it gives huge sound when the drum rotates. The machine itself moves from the actual place due to the drum rotation as it hits on the sides. A customer care person took the complaint, provided a complaint number[protected] and said that a service engineer will come the see the washing machine within 24 hrs. I was also said that the machine is still under warranty. The next day a service engineer just called to us but didn't reach the house to see the machine.

                                      Then on 25-OCT-2012, I again called the customer care. A person named Muthu picked up the call. I said that I raised a complaint on 22-OCT-2012 and provided him the complaint number. Muthu said that because of pooja holidays, the engineer was unable to visit and provided a new complaint number 9659401. He also said the same "Service engineer will come the see the washing machine within 24 hrs". I also asked Muthu about the warranty of the machine. He said its still under warranty. But this time no one called and no one visited my house to look at the washing machine.

                                      Then on 29-OCT-2012, I again called the customer care. A person named Mahesh picked up the call. I said him the same reason and provided the above two complaint numbers. He said Sorry, and said that he will mark this complaint with high importance and send to the higher officials also. He also said that the problem will be cleared today i.e. 29-OCT-2012. I also asked Mahesh about the warranty of the machine. He said its still under warranty. No one turned up.

                                      On 20-Nov-2012, a engineer from IFB visited the machine. He said that the machine's warranty has been completed. Some parts got damaged in the machine which has to be replaced. It would cost around Rs. 4600, paying which the parts will be replace within a week. He said that he will provide his mobile number. After this I asked, Why should I pay for the damaged parts if the complaint raised was at the time of warranty and you people have visited the house after the warranty is completed. I asked him that, have you planned for this that the machine will be visited only after the warranty gets completed. He said that the for the previous complaint number "9659401" engineer have visited the machine and closed the complaint, I said no one have visited the machine. He said that mistaken has been committed from your side, we apologise for this. Then I said why should I pay for your mistake. I said him to replace the parts as per warranty, then I will avail a AMC. He said no you have to pay for the damaged parts. At last he said that he will confirm with the office people and get back to us. I asked his phone number he did not provide saying he will confirm with the office and then he will provide the phone number.

                                      On 30-Nov-2012, I called the care again. The engineer said the call will be escalated to the seniors and a callback will be made.

                                      I request for clearing this issue.

                                      IFB — Washing Machine - Service Not Provided

                                      I am using IFB washing machine from last 2 years. My washing machine is covered under extended warranty which is valid upto 10/05/2010.

                                      My washing machine is not working from last 2 week/. I complained on Oct 20, 08 to the call centre with complaint ID 2320580.

                                      Since then I have made number of calls & also lodged the complaint on net but there is no response from IFB side.

                                      IFB — Machine not returned from service

                                      We bought an IFB Dishwasher Zephyr EX model no:06.[protected] on 13/7/2008 from Girias
                                      Electronics, Coimbatore. The service technicians here took the machine for service 15th June 2009. Its still not been returned.

                                      Further, we've been having trouble with the machine from the start. The programs dont work properly and the cleaning is not good. The drier also does not work.

                                      IFB — SERVICE NOT PROVIDED PROPERLY.

                                      The washing functions were not properly working.The machine used to get hang at 23 min.The engineer of your company did not do a satisfactory job.The lower panel of the machine was broken by your engineer.I even tried to contact to AHMEDABAD branch, but they too dint reply.I kindly request you to pay attention to this and provide the required service.

                                      After the call from IFB, engineers came to my house and tried to clear the defects. But they were unsuccessful. On 15-DEC-2012, the engineer called his senior. The senior person called me and said that this issue will be cleared by Tuesday (18-DEC-2012). After 15-Dec-2012, no engineer has visited my house. Please clear this issue or replace the machine.
                                      Dear Sir/Ma'am,

                                      Another engineer came to my house on 25-DEC-2012 and inspected the machine. He said the parts which have replaced are not for this machine. Wrong parts are replaced. He said he will return with the correct parts on 25-DEC-2021 evening and replace those with the actual parts. Till today 31-DEC-2012 he has not returned. We are being fooled by saying these mentioned words and being waiting for nearly 2 months. Yet the problem is not resolved and we are still waiting.

                                      I request you to replace the actual parts. We are been waiting for a long time.

                                        Basic fact is that.... such institutions can not provide 100% placement to every student who joins it.
                                        even after getting placed you will be under probation period.. like public banks do when they recruit for PO, n when your term gets end you are out with your bag,still looking for career. its very difficult to get placed in a company like icici. for eg. there would be 100s of student who will be learning or completing such course from ifbi institute, so think now, is it possible that all 100s will get placed with icici, answer is no.
                                        may be top scoring student will get an opportunity to work with icici, rest of all could only dream about it....
                                        if you think you are the topper..and have the potential to be among the top 5 then such courses and such institutions are always worthy of money.

                                        As an acquaintance of someone who has done PGDBO program from 2 different centers, I can confirm that someone who clears IFBI program as per guideline mention (mentioned in offer letter), do join ICICI program.
                                        Since I have my real sister who wanted to do this program, I was following this religiously and collected feedback. They say after IFBI PGDBO program, candidates do join ICICI and infact when asked for some placed candidates details, some numbers and locations were shared with us. And we got in touch with them to know the exact story. Also I did visit some IFBI branch in Punjab where IFBI candidates were placed which cleared by doubts. I feel IFBI is genuine as they have shared some newsletter and hall of fame on their website. DO visit. Also you can do a check on ifbi/[protected]@niit.com
