I bought IFB top-loader Washing Machine on 18th May 2012 (from Noida) and we found it not working very next day, on[protected]. We lodged complaint on[protected] but the customer care is daily making just one statement since[protected]: "we are forwarding your complaint to the relevant department". No movement on my problem even after 10 days. I bought this machine from Rythm House, sector 18, Noida; when I contacted the dealer, I didn't get any kind of help.

After repeated follow ups, their sales-manager (not part of call center) has started saying that they'll replace the machine as the unit sold to me was "known to be faulty". And since they have sold me a faulty and phased-out machine, they'll give me a new model and I'll have to bear the extra cost of that new model. I am surprised how such a big MNC is making its customer fool.

Can someone let me know if I have a solid case to bring IFB and the dealer Rythm House to consumer court and get jsutice?

    Complaint no. 8879115 resulted in arrival of technician to inspect the problem. The technician did nothing but promised to return next day with required components. NEVER returned despite of regular calls.
    ADVICE to people planning to but IFB products - first learn to repair the machines and then buy them.
    HOPELESS after sales service.

      Complaint No 8756640 client id NO1706377ated 30-4-'12. replacement of drum not complied with so far despite several calls made during the last 27 days. Five technicians visited and checked on 7th,15th,21st and 25th. No unanimity of opinion among service technicians with the result rectification is prolonged. The local Executive Manager
      is not exercising his responsibilities properly even after instructions from Madras region. Simply dancing to the tunes of the local contractor and supporting the illogical attitude. Do instruct to settle the issue at once failing which the the horrible behaviour and the irresponsible attitude of the officials will aired through the local vernacular dailies or remedy will be sought for through consumer council with damage claim.

      IFB WASHING MACHINE — Im proper Service

      I have purchased IFB washing machine 3yrs ago and since then we are not happy with the functioning.

      There are complaints in some form or other.

      There is always water leaking at regular intervals and also the clothes are not being washed.

      The sevrcice technicians are also not to the expected level of servicing. They will provide some temporary service show that the washing machine is running and they will go. After couple of months again the problem is surfacing again.
      I have purchased IFB washing machine 7yrs ago and since then we are not happy with the functioning.
      in every one year give some type of problems.

      IFB WASHING MACHINE — Improper Service

      I dont know how what is IFB's policy on after sales support or maintenance. I dont think there is any policy at all, or the policy is only to cheat the customer. My washing machine is under AMC, but it is down for 24 days. If there is one Executive in the company who is worth his salt, he will respond to customer complaint. Everytime there is a new maint person, which indicates that trained persons dont stick on to the company. It must be their attitude! If customers dont get preference, how would employees/franchisees get support?

      Is there a customer Service manager, who check the status of complaints? There is none. Please be very careful in dealing with IFB.

      IFB WASHING MACHINE — POST SALES SUPPORT

      The worst service technicians at STAR AGENCIES in Ernakulum. Also the response time is very poor. The technicians are not having knowledge of how to diagnostics the trouble shooting. My suggestion is to look for some other companies to have an expertise..

        i have purchased ifb washing machine model:AW7233.When its packing was removed by the technician ,he found 2 connectors and 1 hot pipe missing(a rare case in brand new washing machine). I registered complaint with the customer care on that day itseif(18.05.20132)ticket number8862351.Next day its lid came out and machine started showing E3 error.it works till washing option and when it comes to rinse option it starts showing E3 ERROR.Again i register complaint with the customer care (ticket number8862351) .technician visited our house on monday morning and was not able to fix the problem. Now idon't want to keep this faulty washing machine and want either replacement or my money back.itis under warranty.

          Kindly help me regarding the issues that I have been facing with a faulty washing machine since I purchased this machine. The problem with this faulty machine has started within a month from date of Purchase. Below are the complaint details.

          I was patient enough to see if the issues would be resolved. But the issue remained and so we have approached the Service centre senior Engineer Mr.Steven at Tadbund,Secunderabad. He confirmed that it was a faulty machine and it will continue to have problems. SO we escalated the issue to his manager Mr.Ramakrishna who is incharge of sales & Service for Andhra Region.

          After looking at all our above complaints and having series of discussions with his engineers. He agreed to change all parts of the machine and promised us to exchange the machine, if at all same issue’s happen again. He also suggested us to pay 1,143 /- Rs towards extended warranty on 15/4/2009. The extended warranty would commence from 23/8/2010 to 22/8/2012.

          Upon delivery of the machine with all spare parts changed the issue has become worst. Below are the complaint No’s with dates after changing all the spare parts.

          We have updated the issues with Mr.Ramakrishna and suggested us a solution, but he never bothered to help us out and was further trying to postpone the issue rather than guiding us with appropriate solution. He is perhaps waiting for the warranty to get expired and delay things until then.


          We have further escalated the issue reaching head office. Spoke to the Senior Engineers Mr.Lohit, Mrs.Rajeshwari and Mr.Mustafa. They suggested that they are working on the issue and have escalated the issue to senior most officials “Mr. chakravarthy” at IFB and we should get a response within 24hrs. Some suggested they will take the machine to head office and get it fixed, just be patient. But no one has reverted back to us until now we have been waiting for past 3 months.

          Whenever we try to follow up the case calling the head office at toll free No. [protected], the customer support are either suggesting us that the Senior Engineers Mr. Lohit, Rajeshwari and Mustafa are either busy or left for the day and will get back to us. Actually they never called us back at.all.

            IFB top loading — not working

            I have purchased an IFB top loading washing machine from chennai, Jainsons, Mylapore, during 2007 and it was working and given two years warranty,. Even after warranty, no body has come for renewal. Unfortunately the machine was not functioning. When I made a call to call centrie, t hey told that they will send the people within 24 hours. Two days has passed nobody has attnded. After my perisiting contacts through your various offices, like area manger, Sales manager, nothing has come out. Lastly one of the person came and told that the same cannot be repaired. It take 45 days to rectify that too evenafter doing AMC. Even if go for an exchange deal I can purchase new machine.
            EVEN I KNOW THIS LETTER WILL NOT TAKE ANY RESULTS,
            THE NAME YOU GOT HAS SPOILED YOUR FACE.

              Sir,
              Due to frequent issues, we put AMC for IFB Executive plus. Initially we had water leakage issue. The technical person from M/sKGS Enterprises Pvt Ltd., Chennai (AMC) attended the fault. In next week itself, the machine was not worked. Again we had made complaint#8742298. Numerous follow up calls were done from our side. But, the issue was not resolved. Whenever we called Customer CAre, they are not able to solve the issue rather than saying, " WE ARE EXPECTING THE SPARE PARTS. The issue will be resolved tomorrow" . We are not happy with the service.

              Please try to resolve this issue.

              IFB executive plus — programme working not properly

              Since purchasing Machine we could not use the machine properly due to so many complaint. Inefficient technician came and open the door and doing some thing and gone away. During the time he could not find the fault now a day itself. Till the date now i was complaint to service office and also Head office, (last ticket number 2397232 and 2428244) but But not yet come any efficient technician. What can i do. If you not send efficient technician finally i go to Consumer court. No other way.
              The technician also broken my machine door also. I was report so many times, but not Responsible

              Since 10 days the our washing machine is out of order. We have given complaint on 07.10.10. No response. Again telephoned on 11.10.10. On 13.10.10 one Techn attended but due to power failure not rectified. Till date not rectified. Our machine is under AMC for Rs.2,057/-. Machine No.010652.

              It is very unfortunate to say that your maintenance service is very poor. Due to fully automatic we are unable to do anything with the machine. This is not first time. Every time your technicians are taking minimum 10 days to rectify the problem. It is very bad for your biggest company.

              Kindly advise the concerned to attend the problem immediately to keep your promise as "service within 24 hours" .

              IFB Executive Plus — Outlet pump not working

              Sir,

              Our IFB washing machine No.010652 is not working since 15 days. Complaint lodged vide No.5239687. Our machine is under AMC contract for Rs.2,057/-. After several reminders one Techn has identified the problem and not rectified due to power failure. Till date not attended / rectified.

              It is regret to say that this is not first time, every time your maintenance personnel taking 15-20 days to rectify the problem. This is very bad for your big brand company. Kindly look into the matter and do needful immediately. Kindly keep the promise as "service within 24 hours"

                IFB — No Post sale service

                Hi,

                I am very disappointed with IFB customer service. We bought IFB microwave 4-5 months back. There was some problem with it and it was out of order.

                I complaint on IFB customer care on in NOV 2008 (Almost 2 months back) . They provided ticket no 2479241. No person came for service.

                I followed up for at least 20 times but every time I got only assurance. No person has come for service so far.

                IFB — post sales service

                i have purchased an ifb microwace 30SC2 in december 2008. I have complained to rectify some problem in the microwave in july 2009 and keep complaining the call centre since then. but, nobody came to rectify the problem till now.
                I have place my complaint on 31st aug 2010. my customer id no. 1730099 and my complaint no. 5026002.
                they say problem will be rectified in 24hrs. there executive did came the next day checked and went telling will be back with the parts. i hv been calling there every day. being raingy season it has become so much difficult clothes not getting dried up.
                IFB after sale service has been always poor. once ifb executive sold me duplicate products and after complaing they said nothing can be done.

                IFB — After Sale Service

                We purchased a IFB Senator 6kg on 16th November 2008 and within one month the motor got spoiled. We kept calling the delhi office and the Goa IFB office for a replacement, however all in vain.

                Atleast 30 times the machine has got spoiled ever since we have bought it, we have hardly witness a month without a break down.

                Now, since July 27th, 2010 complaint no : 4844655, my machine is not functioning. they came to check it and said some issue card is not working and will have to be replaced. however the part was unavailable for all these days. Im feed up and will never recommend IFB to any one.

                I had an IFB previous to this machine, was satisfied with the service and the machine. i changed because i wanted a bigger one and again bought IFB . But im really regretting.

                I have made several complaints , but now one is giving it any attention.Request you to look into it

                  I have bought a IFB 20SC2 model of microwave oven with convection cooking on 24 march 2012 in Sadana Store, Alambagh, Lucknow where Shailendra singh tomar manages, His mobile no is [protected] which he picks up only once and since then he never pick it up. When a company person named Bimlesh came to give us Demo for the product, he declared it Dead as that product was not even heating water. We filed a complain in Service Center of IFB in Lucknow with Complaint No. 8526216. But there was no response to our complain, as same dead product was lying in our kitchen for 15 days and when we tried to track the complain the concerned personnel of service center and showroom were not even picking phone after talking to us first time. After tracking again and again they replace it with so called new oven but when we tried to run it, it too turn out Dead as it didnt even start. And this time none of them concerned personnels are not responding or listening in any way harsh or soft. It is so painful and frustrating as we have just bought it and not even run or use our product for a single day for they gave us a Dead product. Now our money is not in ur hands also and we dont have microwave to use either. And concerned persons of store are not listening or paying heed to our call and problem. Some of them i remember are Anil from service center on Number [protected] and preeti, Alambagh store who talk very rudely and absurd and hang up call everytime we do. They are not ready to give any IFB manager details of our region. And we are not able to find or reach IFB company manager or head office. We dont even know how they operate. It seems like a fraud to us . Solution is not yet done and we are kind of looted and nobody is listening. Please help us !! We are really suffering, they are making fool o[censored]s with my hard earned money... Pls somebody tell what to do or help in this matter !!

                    Hello,

                    I have a IFB digital 6K washing machine. IFB support the customer on call basis for out of warranty machines. I am shifting the house from one area to other area. IFB has the procedure that they use to lock the washing machine before we shipping.
                    I have raised a ticket on 24th April 2012 (Ticket Number: 8717045) with IFB and clearly requested that I need the service on 28th April (Locking the Washing machine) as shipping scheduled on 29th to New address. The service technisian called me the next day and I have explained the same to him that I am need this locking service on 28th April. He requested me to raise one more ticket on friday to take this ticket.
                    I have called IFB customer care on Friday night and registerd my request. I was keep following up with customer care number, they have provided me the service center land line number and contact person (Raghavendra). I spoke to him twice, second time when I was speaking with him he was asking for the warranty details I have told him that it is out of warranty, he said that they will charge either Rs. 331 or Rs. 351, I said I am fine with that. Finally he confirmed me that that the technisian visit my home between 4:00 and 4:30 and do the needful. I was waiting, waiting for the person, since no one is turned till 6:00 PM, I have called IFB again, the response from customer care is good and they have provided me the point of contact number, I have called his number but it was responding with busy, I was waiting for his response but he did not responded back. Finally, I dont have any option and I am from technical background, gone through the manual and locked the machine. As planned my packers came on 29th April 2012, and safely moved to my new house.
                    I got a call @ around 12:30 PM on sunday from the service provider which is of no use for me. I conveyed my message that I have done my self for the movement.
                    Without providing the service they have closed the ticket. I have not requested them to close the ticket.

                    Is this the way of service does IFB provide the customer?
                    All are know that IFB washing machines are costly and this is digital 6KG. and we trust that IFB take care on the service, but if they have such service providers they the customer is in trouble and I dont want to recommend the product to any of my friends and relatives.

                    IFB having the failure in identifying the service provider.

                    Finally, I am totally disappointed the way the Serivce provider spoke to me. He said that you do want ever you want it. Is this the way does the person speak with the customer?

                    Technician comes on 1st September checks the machine says the digital circuit should be replaced and then he calls me on one working day I ask him to come on Saturday as I am working and that's it ,he didn't turn up from that time no call again .

                    It is really unfortunate that being a customer of IFB for more than a decade and regularly renewing the AMC is of no effect. Its sheer wastage of money !!

                    My IFB washing machine is not working for the past 12 days. After lot of deliberations I could reach out to the service folks of IFB on Aug 26th. They assured of sending a service engineer within 48 hours but astonishingly nobody turned up with a solution. The complaint no. is 7026061.

                    Today agin I tried reaching to the cell nos. provided by IFB people - [protected] and [protected]. While, there is no response on the first cell no., the 2nd no. was reachable and the lady attending to my call assured that she will get back to me within 30 minutes. To my utter despair, its been more than 2 hours now and I am yet to receive any call !!


                    Such casual and non - professional approach of a reputed company is beyond understanding. And this has been a regular affair with IFB. Need to see some action taken such that consumer does not suffer the way I am suffering.
                    1)I have purchased IFB Elena Machine directly from your jaipur office supplied here in Kota by your IFB representative Mr Deshraj the machine has following serial no 009277 and Bar code 1EL050011IW1294436.
                    Payment was handed over to Sh DeshRaj for further transmission to Jaipur office
                    2)Mr Desh Raj himself commissioned the machine .Afer showing its satisfactory performance handed over company warranty for period of 2 years , He gave us the further offer of company warranty for period of 2 more year against certain payment . I have opted it made payment and took 2 years extended warranty also i.e full period for 4 years . During the period Mrs Desh Raj has never come on its own self to ensure any preventive maintenance .

                    3) In september 2011 beginning I observed that machine Rotation has altogether stopped working while the programme running up to the end , I repoted the matter to Mr Desh Raj After 3 4 days of the repeated phone call he informed some other gentleman will reach and attend the fault.
                    4) Next day a gentleman came reported some failure of part , he asked of the warranty papers . I cheaked but I could not trace he my own paper i.I told him to check the machine service record and its Job card you will find all entry's there . As company record is reliable data , we can go ahead with it . He told me to contact Mr Desh Raj also.
                    5) I contacted Mr Desh Raj and told him that you have installed the Machine and given the warranty and taken money for extended period .All the entries must be maintained in some register or job card . He did not gave any definite reply .On further follow up he told me the requied part for repair is being arranged from jaipur . I hve to wait some next 5- 6 days he did not devulge the job card status when I asked him on telephone .
                    6) On 14/09/2011 Instead of himself he again send same earlier gentleman to repair and replace PCB Card . Machine started performing missing cycle . But handling of equipment by this man was unprofessional
                    7) He told me that in company does not maintain any record of sold machines . and customer has to produce his own document for caim of warranty .Repair is done on payment and billed to me with Rs 1832 , Every thing was to my surprise.
                    8) I am sure the company like your dealing with home appliance cannot afford to have unrecorded system in this completive market , there must be record of every machine sold or supplied .It is clear that warranty period is not over as its clear IFB bill of jaipur office and payment recived my Mr Deshraj on 25/10/07 (copy of the Bill is attached and copy of pass book of bank is also attached )
                    9) The entry of Pass book has entry for payment made for extended warranty ( as shown in next cheque ) this can be seen your records in jaipur / Kota office ..
                    10) Warranty Services are provided for machine at least upto 25 oct 2011 free of charge by right profession men . This is required to ensured .

                    12) In oct 2007 , I was told by your jaipur office that Mr Deshraj is IFB representative for servicing . Now in Sept 2011 when I realy need the company help Mr Desh Raj behavioured in irresponsible manner .

                    We requested to carry out a service in our Microwave oven which was purchased four years before.
                    After a couple of reminders one technician came to our home and he did not know even to open the service cover of the oven. He made a mess of the oven and our kitchen.
                    Finally he came up with the verdict that the power supply board is complaint and need to be replaced. They did not have the board and will take several weeks. The price would be around 2500 rupees plus service charges and no guarantee for the same.
                    I enquired in just dial for IFB service centre and got a reply of some other service centre that is functioning on behalf of IFB.
                    I asked the person about the matter and he replied that IFB service centre replies only to those people whose machines are under warranty.

                    I bought a washing machine on 06/05/2008, IFB 5 KG/Elena from Next Retial shop ASRAO nagar.
                    Product has 2 years warranty.

                    In between whenever there was a problem i had to pay huge amount for the machine to work so on 25/07/2016 i had taken AMC for the period from 25/07/2016 to 24/07/2017.

                    On 11/08/2016 washing machine stopped while working. I made a complaint for service on 11/08/2016, registered complaint number is [protected], when the complaint was made i was told by customer care executive that it will be attended within 24 hours, but none came for service next day. I again contacted their toll free number and their local number on 13/08/ 2016 one of their service person Mr. Jagapati[protected] came and checked and told door lock is not working and since it is under AMC we need to pay Rs.120 for outer lock and he left saying will come back with the part.

                    Till today i made more than 10 calls to either Mr. Jagapati[protected] customer care number ([protected]) and service engineer ([protected]) but none came to rectify it.

                    when i called up customer care number ([protected]) they intimated me that the complaint is cancelled because of me not picking up the phone and that they again registered complaint number is [protected]

                    almost 13 days are over after registering the complaint and still no response from them. Not even a phone call stating how is the problem?????? Only when i contacted they are responding saying engineer will come and rectify.

                    I never knew ifb has such a bad service back up. And they dont care what ever happens. I am not understanding if they cant give proper service to the customer then whats the point on taking AMC ???????

                    Now almost 15 days have passed, engineer named ram had come on 24th august replaced inner door lock and left saying mcb has to be replaced. Today 27th august nobody turned up to even look after what happened
                    to the machine.

                    Strange but true. Ridiculous and improper service. Really hectic with IFB people.
                    
                    In fact i say that IFB has mentally tortured me for last 3 months.

                    22/10/16 - it is almost 3 months and the issue is they have replaced motor and timer. Ystrdy when the engineer came he said to change the outer body of the machine. I have clearly stated that if the machine is atleast running i would hv changed it. Now they are not bothered at all."

                    In the end i request you to take away the parts replaced in the machine and give back my AMC amount.

                    Please look into the matter at the earliest or else i will proceed to consumer court.

                      I have purchased a IFB automatic washing machine from Dawar Electronic Gurgaon on 13th Jan 12 in the name of Alka kaushal, on 13th March the machine stopped working and I have complaint in the IFB call centre,

                      I have called 11 times to the call centre and but still there is no response from the company,

                      i HAVE ALSO CONTACTED THERE SERVICE MANAGER MOHIT BAJAJ - PHONE NO [protected] but he picked the phone once and assured me action but no action taken. after that he has stopped picking phones.


                      IT IS REALLY PAIN FULL TO SEE HOW COMPANY'S MAKE FOOL OF THE COMMON PEOPLE AND MAKE BIG - BIG FALSE CLAIMS

                      Can somebody suggest how to get this faulty machine replaced,

                      or

                      How can I file a case on the IFB industries for cheating customers.

                      The IFB washing machine, which is around 1 year old is not working. The drums inside the washing machine is not rotating. Sometime some sounds are also given by the machine.

                      IFB - Washing Machine — Not responding to the complaint

                      We have IFB washing machine, and which is under AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract). Now since past two months we are facing the problem in the machine as there internal wiring is cut within the machine and as result of this current is being passed on the external body. Moreover due to the water contact this current is also experienced in various areas in our resisdence. We have complained several times and all the time persons come and go without resolving the problem. Now they are not even responding to our complains and as AMC shall be completing within short time so they donot want to change the internal wiring which is part of the contract. Once the contract expires they would charge us for the same. We even agreed to pay the additional money for the wiring if needed but only after the problem is completely resolved not in advance.

                      i bought the model Elena Dx on 15th of Feb 2010 from mumbai.When the machine was brought to my home it did not had any cover which sealed the machine. i mean to say that there was a cover which was kept on the machine just for the sake that the machine was to be transported.the delivery was through a courier agency.When the IFB technician was been called for we came to know that he was through ifb franchisee.
                      we told him about he cover been absent on the machine plus when the drain pipe was kept on the floor hanging one side been attached to the respective possition it drained about a liter of water. he technician said the cover is not there responsibility and the water draining from the machine without been used may be due to the company tests been conducted in the name of quality testing.
                      the technician just gave us a verbal demo as he said the machine is not been installed. we used the machine only once after that it was working fine.
                      But today after a week of first time been used when we put the cloths on, switched on the machine, set the wash criteria.the machine was not accepting the water.we waited for half an hour, but the machine is not working.
                      i request for a qualified technician to go through the issue plus i would like to have a detailed demo for the machine.

                      Within a day of your complaint the complaint would have been closed in their system although they would not have attended. This is their usual pratice. You can once again call their toll free No and check the status of this complaint No. and hear that this complaint has been closed.
                      Start stop button not working. There is no response for the customer care dial numbers for the past two days in three languages. Poor costomer service.
                      I have brought IFB washing Machine about 2 Years back and from that time the performance of the washing machine is poor and always had some problem - like water leak - machine not starting. Now the Fornt Panel burnt and IFB service person came and asked us change it to new one for the cost of Rs.3500/-. This is really bad becuase of poor quality only the front panel got burnt - or as a end user i would like to understand the root cause of failure whether it is becuase of machine performance or by the user ( Self).

                      We bought ifb washmine on 7th April 2008. Nearly one and half years there is no mistakes taken place. After that one day while washing mishine didnot go to the next programme.
                      Water from the mechine overflow through soap box. we inform to ifb service center nearby. They have changed a part in mymechine. Six months there is no problme. Now we tackle same probleme.

                      The IFB (Senator) Washing Machine has been purchased around one year before. The machine is now installed at the following address.C/o G Annamalai, 1/35, Road street, Manampathy, Kanchipuram District between Vandavasi & Utirametrur route. The machine is presently not working due to the reason that the cables (Wire Kit) has totally been destroyed by rats since there was no protection for entry of rats in to it. I do not know whether this is coming under warranty or otherwise. Whatever the case may be, please send your representative for servicing the same by replacing the wire kit with new one and please make the machine to work properly. In future, We will take care for recurrence of such defects for which we are going to attach a rat protective mesh made from Sheet metal. For any spares spoiled by rat and not under warranty, the payment will be made on the spot.

                      I further request you to include in your future design the rat protective mesh made of steel particularly to reduce such type of service since your machine can serve or survive in a better way even in villages constructed with old houses / thatched houses.

                        ifb washing machine 7 kgs digital — received in damaged condition

                        I have bought the washing machine from Gupta Electric Co. sco-1117 sec-22-b, chandigarh on 27-02-08. They sent the machine in sealed condition. After strong follow up their service person came and opened machine and found the machine damaged from front and rear side. After following up the matter with dealer he is lingring on the issue with false promises.

                        IFB Digital 7 Kg — Complaint of over two months still not attended to

                        Complaint #3895510 lodged around Dec 16, 2009 not attended to as of today (Feb 19 2010).

                        Washing machine is under AMC and Start/Pause button not working on this all digital machine. After making dozens of calls to several people and two months later the machine is still not working. No one from the service even calls me to update me on the status. Whenver I call they say tomorrow, day after, next week, part is not in stock and that they ordered - once it arrives they will fix immediately.....I am sick and tired of these innurebable amount of excuses. They are now saying that they would need to replace the casing where the issue is with an electonic board. After a little probing, I am horrified to notice that they don't even know what the complaint was for.

                        I am spending lot of money for getting clothes washed and worse id many of clothes are streatched as a result of hand hashing. IFB appears to be least bothered about providing customer care. It is appalling that I do not see even a basic intent to help customer.

                        I fully agree to your problem. I am also facing problems in my 5 kg digital.
                        Within 4 days, I phoned to many staff of IFB - to CC, local service people, etc. Finaly, one came opened the machine and said some parts broken and went away.Then another staff came, he opened and inspected and went away, saying that he will come tomorrow - which tomorrow is anybody's guss. Why so much confusion and fuss among the service staff. Is it only in Tamilnadu area or whole of India???

                        I think this IFB management is sooooooo poor that they could not manage the complaints and the service staff properly. Whenever we register a complaint through their call center, they give some complaint no. but the HO service dept. never follow this number to find out the status of the complaint - whether it is rectified to the saisfaction of the customer or not.

                        Finally, I want to start a service - "IFB Cementry Service". It is free and it is for all religion, caste and creed. One condition is that you own a stupid IFB appliances.Any takers????!!!
                        IFB DIGITAL 7 KG - Very poor after sale service even after contacting Mr. Manish/Sales Manager on mobile no. [protected]. Our complaints not attanded satisfactorily since more than one year. Initially the service was very good in 2006, we got our defective piece replaced immediately, but after that it become a curse. We purchased extended warranty but all the money seems to be in dustbin.

                            This relates to a IFB washing machine ( 6kg Digital ) I bought 3 years back. It started making banging sounds during the spinning cycle. The local dealers here, Jumbo Electronics said they were helpless as the company no longer sends spares from India & have stopped their dealership. This is a case of extreme negligence towards the customer by IFB & they must be taken to task about their after sales service & spares availibility.

                              In February'08, I had purchased a microwave model number(20PG2S). On Apr 2012 I found that the "Start" button in the button panel was not working. So on 14 th Apr 2012 I launched a complain[protected]. After calling customer care center for 4 to 5 times finally the technician came. The person who came was more eager in selling products of IFB like micro-oven cleaner and voltage stabilizer. Finally he replaced the panel and forced us to buy one cleaner. During his presence while I was re-checking the machine I found that sound like burning firecrackers are coming from the machine along with burning smell. Then the technician told us that the line was not ok and need to be checked. From the discussion with the technician I found that he was not at all confident what he was saying and also he was in a hurry to leave. Then while giving us the bill he told us that the bill was not currently available so he is not giving the bill and he will give it on the next day. After this incident we called the electrical technician and he checked the line and the electrician told us that the line is ok and currently we are using another electrical appliance using the same line. On 23rd Apr 2012 when I called back the technician for the bill he stared shouting over phone . The technician had charged Rs. 866 and he had given us the bill of Rs. 225 amount.

                              This is the second time I am facing the bitter experience with the after sales service. I have never faced such a horrible experience with my other products.I was thinking to replace my SAMSUNG washing machine with the IFB machine. But after this incident I think I need to change my decision and also not recommend anyone to buy IFB products in near future. For your reference I am providing the name and the contact number of the technician. Please take immediate action.

                                sir i have done a complaint for ifb machine and executive has come and they suggested of doing itsurifing protection with their own surf but after some time the inside drum become black i have approched ifb so many times but none of them has been responding and once thier senior srikant has called and promised me to help but of no waste i have a job sheet of executive in which he has written drum will be change but later on they sya it will not be done so please look into the matter and help me for the same

                                  the worst ever service providers. I hv got an ifb washing machine n it has got sm problem. I called the dealer who gave me the service providers number, now even after six months my complaints,calls are nt being entertained. I hv lost all hope as the service centre is always assuring me of a new date. I hv stopped calling them. But i seriously suggest everybody to please think hundred times before you buy an ifb appliance.

                                    IFB customer service in Bangalore (South Area - Jayanagar/J P nagar) is PATHETIC.

                                    I raised a complaint ticket on 26th March 2012 & as on date (12th April 2012) my issue is still unresolved. It appears the service franchise is least bothered on resolving this issue & also looks like IFB India-Bangalore cares a damn on what's happening!!!

                                    Amazing brand with POOREST OR POOR service.

                                    God alone knows how we are managing for 3 weeks now without our washing machine working...................hope some one from IFB sees this complaint & does something to solve our issue.

                                      I am THAMBIRAJAN an Ex-service man residing at No.2 Raja Rao street, East Tambaram, Chennai 600059. I bought a IFB washing Machine model ‘Senator 6kg front loading’ from my Airforce canteen vide invoice No.OR[protected] dated 20th March 2006. The machine was under continuous AMC with IFB service centre at Old No.37, New No.6 Arcor road, Vadapalani, Chennai 600026. The present AMC No.0059547 expires on 28th June 2013.
                                      I am briefing the experience with IFB customer care as below:
                                      1. 9th Sept.2011 complaint lodged that the machine is not spinning automatically and unusual noise, the complaint registered as C.No.7020426
                                      2. 22nd Nov.2011 reminded to Mr.Praveen.
                                      3. 15th Dec.2011 reminded to a lady customer care officer who asked me to make a fresh complaint as the previous complaint is not valid now(The pre.complaint was not attended). Fresh complaint No.7875340.
                                      4. 17th Dec.2011 complained to Mr.Udayaraj, Manager on his mobile [protected].
                                      5. 20th Dec.2011 reminded to Mr.Udayaraj as above.
                                      1. 23rd Dec.2011 again remided to Mr.Udayaraj and Mr.Sudhakar came and inspected the machine. The problem not attended. No answer when I make call to his mobile:[protected]
                                      I would like to remind the people of IFB that AMC is not a money grabbing way for their business and it is for the consumer’s trouble free operations of the appliance. I am facing trouble everyday because of their failure. I would like to make a claim that the warranty is meant extended as the company itself is having the contract agreement with me for maintenance of the appliance. I am not satisfied with the machine. I want it to be replaced with a trouble free model. If not possible by them, the money shall be refunded.

                                      IFB SENATOR 6Kg Washing machine — Washing machine complaint not attended to

                                      washing machine not working past 1 week. Complaint attended spares not available. Not rectified nor replaced. no temporary solution. IFB people are lethargic, no means to contact higher officials, complaint rectification not monitored. Why then you provide AMC. Should IFB not make alternative arrangements if spares will not be available in time. Poor customer care. Should we switch over from IFB for better customer care. The so called boss is ever not available for any grievences. Should these things warrant consumer forum intervention. If need be we would not mind.

                                        I, Jagjit Singh, of Plot No-5, Gyan Complex, Landeke-Dosanjh Rd, Landeke, Distt-Mga, Punjab, PIN-142001, am having IFB fully automatic 6 kg digital model washing machine, which is under AMC from 17 Dec 2010 to 16 Dec 2012. I have paid Rs 5073/- for the AMC for two years. I had registered a complaint at the IFB customer care call center (tele:[protected] vide complaint no 8141762 dated 24 Jan 2012, that the machine is getting overheated and its door lock is also not working. Thereafter I have made numerous calls to the call center as well as IFB service centers at Moga and Ludhiana, however NO action has been taken by them to get the machine repaired.

                                        IFB WASHING MACHINE — NON COMPLIANCE TO SPECIFICATION

                                        We have purchased the machine on 15 aug 2008 from a NEXT Lajpatnagar outlet.The machine is rated for 5kg load. but donot perform at rated load. when comlained the service engineer come and advice us to load it uoto 3.5 kg only. the company should deliver us a machine with rated capacity.

                                        I am retaired bank officer from Audhyanagar vijayawada. My IFB washing mechine is under AMC till 19/01/2010. The mechine is under repair and same has been informed to service center. they have taken it to service center and informed that it will be repaired with in 3 days, After 3 days when we telephoned he said that he is not having perticuler part it will take 15 days. I am 65 years old and my wife is 60 years old and we are fully dependent on the mechine. At this age we have no energy to go to sevice center oftenly. Please do justice and get it repaired as early as possible.

                                        I totally agree that the service personnel in coimbatore is very reluctant towards their service and the company IFB does not have any alternate nor taking any serious about it.
                                        I am having IFB fully auotomatic 6 kg digital model, washing machine, which is under AMC for two years from 17 Dec 2010 to 16 Dec 2012 and I have paid Rs 5073/- for AMC.                                         IFB WASHING MACHINE ^ KG DIGITAL — NON REPAIR

                                        My washing machine developed noise in the rinse and spin cycles. I lodged a complaint with customer care complaint No 8680857 on 18 Apr 2012. The mechanic came and took a look on 19 Apr 2012 and said a part was to be replaced. Today is 30 Apr the part has not been repaired. The service franchise Mr Hari said the part is coming from GOA. After a week it didn't reach there was no communication from IFB so I called again. This time A Ms Deepika spoke and promised action in four days. Today is the fourth day and I was directed to Ms geetanjali who says the part is not available in the factory. I have not heard anything more absurd. Is it that the machine is off the production line because part is not available. If the production line is on then why can't the part be made available even after 11 days. IF there is a problem at the factory end they should give me a machine to use till they can repair the one I have. Or remove the part ofrom a new machine in stock and repair my machine and let the company equipment suffer the downtime. Having bought the costliest machine in the market this is not the kind of services I expected. Please help
                                        I have IFB washing machine, which is under AMC till 2015. My customer Id is 1394063. My complain no is 11325691.I have always had AMC since I bought my machine & never was charged for any parts that were replaced. All of a sudden the company has started to ask for money even it is under AMC !! How is this possible by a company to change its conditions in the middle of any contract?? Is this not breach of trust? I cannot get out of the AMC contract till 2015 and my machine is not getting repaired !! I surely do not feel like paying on top of the AMC charges, which I have already paid. I was never informed anything by the company about this change of condition at the time of renewing my AMC.
                                        How can the company change the coditions before the tenure of the AMC finishes ?? I am thinking of taking this to the COnsumer Affairs department !!

                                        VERY-VERY POOR SERVICE AND PRODUCT
