Sub: Non delivery of Neptune dishwasher inspite of making a FULL payment of Rs.26500/- on 20/05/2011
Dear Sir,
I made a payment of Rs.26500 on 20/5/2011 to purchase a IFB Neptune dishwasher. The payment was made at IFB POINT, 18 D, Jawaharlal Nehru Salai (100 Feet Road), 1st Floor, Koyambedu, Chennai - 600107. Tel. 2479 2363, 3242 9235. I was given a stamped collection detail slip with no. 3802. Till date, the dishwasher has not been delivered!! The response that I get from the director Sharma S[protected] and his agent Ramesh (to whom I made the payment) is appalling!! They keep telling lies and give false promises. I was told that there was no stock and that it'll take 2 days, 3 days...etc by Ramesh. Today its 04 Jun 2011..When I call they just get me off the phone telling some lie and giving some false hope that they'd call back. They never do! The director even tried telling me once that it was the wrong no. when I called and finally gave his phone to the agent to get rid of me! I have been cheated to the tune of Rs.26500! My hard earned money and I'm given the run around. All this started when one girl Lakshmi [protected] kept calling me again and again and again for over a month(A MONTH) kept routinely calling me at odd hours disturbing my sleep(I work in night shift). I was woken up by the persistent phone calls many times. Finally I consented to buy the dishwasher and took great effort to go to Nungambakkam as directed by her only to find that the lady there quoted a different pricing and didn't have the payment option that I wanted. I was disappointed and gave up. But still the constant inflow of calls continued and finally I again consented and travelled all the way to IFB point Koyambedu to make the payment only to complain to you now :( This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I've always had a high reputation for your company. The customer service is horrible. We get to talk to irresponsible, pathological liars. I do understand out of stock issues but why was it not conveyed to me before I made the payment? Why didn't they call when they promised they'd call regarding the delivery? Why is taking more than 10 days to deliver a product? I have lost faith! I have a microwave and a washing machine from your company. I'd appreciate any compensation for all the inconveniences that I had to undergo..my sleep getting disturbed inspite of telling the call center girl not to call when I was sleeping, the time spent, the false promises made, the consistent lies, the payment hassles, the mental torture and the long eternal wait after making the payment. If nothing can be done please refund my HARD EARNED money of Rs.26500/-. Kindly redress my grievance at the earliest.

1. As COMMITTED while lodging the compliant was that the compliant ll be resolved WITHIN 48 HOURS so it means that for the IFB service centre 10 DAYS= 48 HOURS and in case they were finding it difficult due to some damn reason then the same should had been COMMUNICATED BACK TO ME.
2. Service Engg came and REPLACED FUSE WITH COPPER WIRE which we were able to trace and when we asked to replace it by a fuse the service engg told tht in case of fuse blow off ONLY THRU COPPER WIRE WE REPLACE THE SAME which is a TECHNICAL DISASTER.
3. Quality of service engg at the service centre is very pathetic. This is a sincere request to IFB to stop having TIE-UPS with any 3rd party as the people recruited and working there seems to be under graduates as per my interaction during the compliant handling.
4. Service centre people don’t have the decency to speak to the customer. The actually reason behind my lodging this compliant is that this service centre engg challenged that go and compliant were ever you feel like so i ll try MY LEVEL BEST TO MAKE IFB REALIZE THAT THEY ARE VERY SOON GOING TO BE OUT OF THIS COMPETITIVE MARKET.
5. I LL NOT BE RECOMMENDING IFB TO ANY OF THE FRIENDS/ FAMILY RELATIVES AND EVEN THE COMMON MAN.
HOPE THAT U LL UNDERSTAND WHERE EXACTLY IFB STAND TODAY.
