I have purchased a Senator 6 kg washing machine from Vasanth and Co, Mylapore, Chennai on 19/6/2009 and have a 2 year warranty on the product which expires on 18/6/2011.Within 3 months of purchase I have faced numerous problems.I have filed a minimum of seven complaints to date.The machine stalled with the programme knob coming to the end of the cycle, but the rinse cycle had not been completed and the water had not drained out. This problem ocurred on atleast 3 occasions. This was attraibuted to a fluctuation in voltage and we were advised by the service technicians to install a voltage regulator costing Rs1800.Inspite of installing the device problems continued to occur.The machine also failed to dry the clotheson 2 ocassions .The latest problem is that the water inlet does not drain into the drum but out through the base of the machine. A technician came 2 days after the complaint and claimed to have rectified the problem , but the same problem occurred the next time I used the machine.After 5 days the technician vame to chesk the machine and says the drum has to be replaced!!the machine less tha two years old and already the drum needs replacement! We have been told this will take a minimum of 2 weeks! It is clear that we have been supplied a faulty machine. I have relatives who have IFB machines who are using them for more tham 8-10 years without any problems. I request you to replace the machine with a new unit as we have followed all the instructions given by the service personnel and have even fitted a voltage regular but still continue to have major problems with the machine.

    I purchased a fully automatic washing machine of your company, IFB last december. the warranty period has not expired. the machine is not working for the last three months. I had registered my complaint through your customer care service centre on october 20th and my complaint number is 2104763. I had been making calls to your customer care service centre almost on a daily basis and they too assure me that they will be attending to the problem in 48 hours. till now nobody has attended. they gave me a mobile number to contact a person called Rajesh. He is not attending the calls.I have purchased the machine from FOMRA, chennai. I contacted them too, and they also responded the same way as your customer care service centre. If this problem is not attended immediately, I will be forced to go to consumer Court. I will not leave you at this stage. You will be made to pay the full amount back through the court.

    purchased a washing machine model Elite.From the date of installation on 28th SEP 08 the machine is out of order.I find it very difficult to get their technician from the kerala service centre.Everytime I have to route the complaint through their call centre and follow with local service centre. With frequent attempts I could manage to get the technician three times during the last 16 days, still they could not identify the defect and the machine is not usable.
    My complaints to local marketing person is not useful and he is trying avoid the complaint calls.
    The local service provider is not at all attending the phone calls. They have some trainees technicians to attend service calls, still i am waiting there service.There is no response to my complaint through e mail also.
    I have purchaged IFB Washing mision two years Back. Frequently it is giving troubles. In the middle of the washing time it is stopping.

      Dear Sir,

      I am writing to bring to your notice the extreme harrassment, distress and lack of service by technicians from Laxmi Service Centre, Noida.

      I own a washing machine from IFB - IFB Elena, bought about 8 years ago. Recently, the power in my house was tripping and we were not sure if the machine could be a problem. I filed a service complaint which was attended the next day by Mr Kiran Pal from the service centre. He told me that my machine motor was short. My machine was working fine and able to complete full loads, but he insisted that the motor was at fault. He got a senior technician with him, and they told me that the motor cost somewhere close to Rs 7000 if I got it done through IFB, but if I get it done through them on a personal basis, he will charge me Rs 3500. He also said that the company store will take a long time, he had some spares and he can change the motor on a personal basis. I got it done on a personal basis and requested them to provide me an AMC, but they assured me that they would help me for 3 months. After a while, the tripping problem resurfaced, and I called Mr Pal to check the motor. This time he and Mr Manjeet told me that the timer was not working. In the meantime, our electrician was able to find a faulty switch, and our problem resolved. My machine was working fine so far, and I could not believe that the timer had an issue. But they told me it would not last long, and that it will cost about 3000 Rs to do it on a personal basis. I suspected some tampering, and requested an AMC, but I was told that I will have to go on a personal basis, else my machine would never be repaired. Fearing foul play, I did not get it repaired through them. For a while, I started washing clothes myself, and this dragged on for two weeks. I have two small children, I am a working woman and it was getting very difficult. I called up the service centre and complaied to them about the technician. Mr Rajesh who attended my call told me that the timer cost Rs 1500 and he will send some other technician. Another five six days passed, I kept calling Mr Rajesh and he said he would get it fixed. Later, he told me that my machine would never be fixed, as I had tried to get an AMC. I eventually went back to the customer care number to request an AMC and repair of machine. This complaint was made with complaint number 158131. Since then, Mr Pal has been calling me and harassing me saying that my machine would never be repaired. I also talked to Mr Vikas whose number was provided to me by the customer care[protected]/2854791). He told me that my problem would be attended very soon, and nothing happened.

      Tired of multiple days of washing clothes, I was forced to buy a new machine. I am a fan of IFB products, and I realize that my machine never had a problem in the first place, it was the faulty switch. I owned and loved my Elena for 8 years, and also own a zephyr with no complaints. So I have bought a new IFB Serena last sunday. The dealer Rythm House made a prompt delivery to ease our pain, but it seems that even after far more than 48 hours have passed since the machine was bought, it hasnt been installed. My dealer has told me that they have passed installation instructions to the company, but I am not sure whats up. I suspect the technicians are at game again.

      I request you to kindly take note of this matter and have:
      1. My new machine installed.
      2. Get the service centre to pay me for the damages incurred.
      3. Take action against Mr Pal, Mr Manjeet, Mr Rajesh and Mr Vikas.

        This is to inform you my washing machine was purchased last 7 months back and i have bean facing the problem frequently when ever i call am not getting good response and also the service engineers are coming and tell lots of reasons to replace the part, when i approached the franchise manager him self he says the parts are not available in the H.O it self what we can do in this this case were i should go and complain regards this. can you pls look in to this and give me a solution ASAP.

          Though I have registered a complaint with the customer care at Hyderabad on[protected] and subsequently reminded on 29th and 30th so far they did not respond to my complaint. Even I personally talked to the Manager concerned and he promised me that the service person would attend it immediately. I am so sorry to complaint that within 5 months of purchasing the machine I am facing the trouble with it. At the time of selection of the product the company reps are assuring satisfactory service within 24 hours. But in practice the customers are subjected to undergo pain and trauma.
          Kindly see that my problem is solved.

            PATHETIC Service.
            I bought this machine 3 weeks back and still have not been able to use it. Moreover, Installation guys are not knowledgeable about their own product. I was asked to change the tap just because they are not able to install the machine water inlet pipe. Then I had to buy a extension pipe and pay EXTRA 350/-. Installation guy came to my place on the 25th and today is 29th. From last four days I have been chasing your team in vain. Today a person named Rahul was supposed to come and install the washing machine; we had decided 1pm today. When tried to contact him, he kept disconnecting my call and switch off his phone [[protected]]. I haven’t heard anything from anybody.
            This is waste of my time. I am tired of waiting for IFB personnel. This is the most disgusting after sale service I have ever received. I should have bought a WHIRPOOL washing machine instead.
            I want this escalated to a higher department and get the machine working OR I WANT TO RETURN THIS MACHINE. THANK YOU.

              I have placed a complaint on the company website and a service man came and left saying something needs to replaced. everytime they ask me for transportation charges, and this is 3 times. This time I can clearly see that the WM got severely damanged. So, I am asking for a replacement for the some defects which I don't they can fix after 3rd time sending for service.
              We bought this washing machine in march 2010. Within first 4 months we noted the issue (sound from inside the drum) and sent for service. after the service we used for 3 or 4 washes and noticed that the problem was not solved. Sent for service again within 3 months. Now we see a big problem again. This time many screws have got unscrewed, and washing machine shifted a lot even tough it is on a tight rubber fixed stand. even the rubbers of the stand have worn a lot. Last time itself I requested to take back the washine machine. This time I beg to take back this washing machine and refund my amount.

                Sir/Madam,

                I bought a IFB Microwave oven. After the first year's warranty period expired, I went in for AMC for 2 years. The customer ID given by IFB is 836469.

                The oven did not work during the first year of AMC and I gave a complaint to IFB on 26.10.2010. The service is handled by a franchisee Co. who have no expertise to repair the oven. After the complaint on 26.10.2010, I had to remind the service Co. of the pending service call, every now and then & the response was poor. Though the technicians came several times, the oven could not be set right. Finally after persistent reminders, one technician took the entire unit of oven on 21.12.2010 stating that they would do the repair in their workshop.

                Since no call-logs were maintained by them, acknowledgement in a plain paper was taken while taking away the whole assembly to their workshop. Thats all. There was total silence afterwards. I had to repeatedly remind through IFB website, call centre and the chennai franchisee Co.all in vain.

                At last, on 7.3.2011, the oven without glass plate was brought home for delivery. On seeing the oven in rusted condition, we refused to accept the oven stating that it was not rusted at the time they took it to workshop from home. I asked for replacement with a new one besides extension of AMC period proportionate to the delay, owing to the inordinate delay in service.

                Still there is no response in spite of making complaints through all means, the latest complaint number being 6234869 dt.21.4.2011 (for replacement).

                I have the purchase bill, the valid AMC and the acknowledgement in a plain paper given by the technician while taking away the full oven to their workshop.

                The service quality of all products of IFB are very very bad. They have appointed as their franchisees some small companies who have no knowledge at all about the product. They experiment by trial and error, after coming across problems with no solutions.
                It is surprising that a company like IFB has gone into contract with such non-performing companies.

                I have dropped my plans of buying IFB dish-washer and front-loading washing machines after knowing about IFB's worst service quality.

                  I live in kanpur and buyied a Dishawsher of IFB (MODEL-Neptune) on 29 March 2011.But i have not recieved the manual and Guarranty Card from seller,when i asked him he said that my slip will act as the Guarranty card and the manual might not be there because as you have requested a sealed pack and we haven't opened it to check it.Then he said that i will give you within 3 days but he has given me after 2 weeks but that was photocopied and at its back the whitner has been putted in front of address and buyer's name.And on first day the water spots were there in dishwasher.
                  Sir please take some action againts it.

                    My IFB washing machine 6 ltrs front loading is leaking at the out side water connection site for last 2 years.
                    Many IFB reps and plumbers tried and failed due to non availability of IFB connection pipe. Please addrss this problem from your side or guide me how to get this part from IFB agencies which is presently not available in any of their agencies.

                      IFB — companies negligence

                      i have purchased one IFB microwave machine(17PG2S) on August 2010. since then i am suffering with my machine. the company first heard the complaints but didn't resolve my issue. now they are denying any service and delaying so that my warranty period is over.the higher authorities are neglecting my calls and stopped responding to my problem.

                        I have purchased a washing machine for IFB in the year 2008 and model name of my machine is Senorita DX 5.5 kg.My machine is now in extended warranty period. My machine is not working since one month. I have filed a complaint against my machine to the service number [protected] & my complaint number is 6204038 and made a complaint on 15.04.2011 and i was informed that a technician would come and attend the fault but no one turned up. When the technicians are contacted over the phone, no response was there.I have never seen this type of worst service from an organisation.

                          IFB Washing Machine - Elena Model — Water Leackage

                          I mr. Laxman Naga Patil residing at Navi Numabi have purchase a IFB Washing Machine (Elina Model) and same machine is under Annual Maintenance Contract with IFB for the period 16.07.2008 to 15.07.2010. Due to water Leackage Problem I have give the complaint on toll free no. as on 25.07.2009. My complaint No. is 3281897. But till date not any engineer visit to repair the machine. From 25.07.2009 I have contact so many times to the Authorised Service Centre of IFB M/s Delight Services, Vashi, Navi Mumbai regading above said problem. But no one engineers yet come to repair the machine. In the AMC period of machine IFB Ltd. not proving their services to customer then how customer suggest to anybody to purchase IFB washing machine.

                            1. I AM AN ARMY OFFICER POSTED AT WELLINGTON, COONOOR NEAR OOTY.
                            2. I HAVE AN IFB WASHING MACHINE, MODEL ELENE DX WHICH IS A FRONT LOADING WASHING MACHINE BOUGHT IN 2009 & IS STILL UNDER 2 YRS WARRANTY PERIOD.
                            3. ALL MY PHONE CALLS TO THE CUSTOMER CARE HAVE BEEN A SHEER WASTAGE OF MY EFFORTS & TIME & I HAVE BEEN PROMISED OF A PROMPT RESPONSE BUT TILL NOW NEITHER I HAVEN'T GOT ANY CALL FROM THE SERVICE AGENTS NOR HAS SOMEBODY COME TO ADDRESS MY PROBLEM.
                            4. MY PROBLEM IS THAT I AM MOVING OUT TO MY NEW DUTY STATION IN A WEEK SO I HAVE TO REPAIR MY MACHINE BEFORE I SEND MY LUGGAGE TO MY NEW PLACE OF POSTING WHICH IS A REMOTE PLACE IN INDIA & DOESN'T HAVE ANY IFB SET UP.
                            5. I THEREFORE REQUEST SOME URGENT ACTION TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM. NO EFFORTS FROM THE MANUFACTURER SIDE TO RESOLVE MY PROBLEM HAS LED ME TO RESORT TO THIS ACTION.

                              Hi,
                              I have purchases a washing machine of IFB Company on 25th Jan'10, Few days back I have noticed cracks on the upper side of the washing machine, these cracks are seems very old. I have logged in the complaint with IFB but they are saying that I have to pay the cost of this but the machine is under 4 years of warranty and crcks are also very old. please help me out in this. Sanps for the same is also attached.

                                I wont recommend anyone in my life to buy any IFB product as its after sales service is too pathetic.I am the resident of faridabad everytime i call up the center they say the engineer will reach u today..we keep on waiting for the engineer...but nobody turns up.We feel we are helpless as once we have bought their product we r there slave.I can name one engineer Ravinder he gave his number to contact him in case of any complaint with the complaint number and when we call him up he says i'll come at 4:00 and when we call him at 4:00 he says "madam i'll come tomorrow..PLs help..

                                IFB — persons are not attending our complaint

                                we have the washing machine of IFB of model elenaDX of 5.5 kg we have done complaint 9 ;10 times from 17th aug till 23 rd but there is no action among it. we r facing many problems. so take the strich action about it i[censored] will not take action. we have to send u notice from the court

                                We are facing a similar problem.

                                I bought IFB washing machine on 5th May 2013. Next day IFB person came and told us that some plumbing needs to be done. After we completed the plumbing work, we called back the same service person. But till date no one has come.

                                Then we lodged complaint with IFB customer care, and they gave us compl. No. 10808153 dtd.17/5/13. They also gave me mob.no.of the Faridabad franchise. The franchise, Mr.Deepak, never picks up his mob. and land line no. is either always busy or no-reply !!

                                Today somehow i got through to some Deepika yadav. She is also rude, and told that complaint was closed already since they could not reach me on telephone ... Maam, you were supposed to reach my house not phone !!

                                I do not recommend anyone to buy IFB.

                                  I have an IFB Top Load Washing machine which is under 4 years extended warranty. I purchased the same in 2008 and within 2.5 years, I have had to raise complaints for servicing numerous times. The machine though of quite high price is of very poor quality and the after sales customer service is equally bad. On 23rd March, 2011 my machine stopped working completely. I logged a complaint with IFB Customer Care[protected]. The complaint number provided was 6095101. Technician from IFB visited my house on 24th March,2011 and confirmed that some parts need to be replaced and the same would take 1 week. When I did not hear anything till 1st April,2011, I decided to call up IFB Customer Care to follow up. Accordingly, I was told to call up on the numbers([protected](Mr. Bappa)/[protected] - nildeep/[protected]). When I called on these numbers, they were either switched off or I was told that the spare parts had not been delivered to them yet(from Taratala in Kolkata itself). I called back on 4th April,2011 and was again given the same response. 2 weeks had passed in the meantime. When I threatened them with consequences, the person from IFB simply said "Do whatever you want to". Such is the arrogance of their staff.

                                  IFB provides a complaint logging facility on their website which does not work. Being a software engineer I do know that the website has been configured to throw an error whenever a user submits a complaint. I then mailed to [protected]@ifbglobal.com which was undelivered. However, next day technician again visited my house to repair but realised he did not have the correct spare parts and has again asked for 4-5 days to get the same.

                                  IFB does not care about customers. They are duping people of their money by providing worthless appliances, customer care executives who do not have basic etiquettes/manners and false promises.

                                  Requesting you to please take this matter up in the best interests of the consumers who are being duped with catchy advertisements and "excellent" customer care offers.

                                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — Disgusting Customer Care

                                  I have IFB Washing Machine (Model Elena). I have registered complaint with the local Service Centre at
                                  Jammu (J&K). The job has been registered by the Centre at S.No.26. For last 3 months I have been requesting them repeatedly but they are totally deaf. Only once they said a person who said he will turn up again within 2 days. Month has again elapsed but they are not doing anything.

                                  I should not have purchased an IFB product. I will never recommend the product to any prospective customer in future.

                                  My cmplain was regesterd on 23rd march 2009, till todays date my complain have not been attended.
                                  I have called many a times after regester my complain, but i have not got proper response. Problem is not solved and none of your person have contacted us regarding our issues.
                                  Now i have decided that i will take legal action regarding this matter and i want complanciate of mental and time period harresment.
                                  Please look in this matter and take fast legal action.

                                    Hi,

                                    This is a complaint against an employee (Arbi chatterjee) who is working at IFBI (Borivili branch). I have been following up to get a confirmation on the valadity of the receipt provided by this institue to one of my employee in my company.

                                    Arbi chatterjee has not been replying to my mails and have marked it as SPAM (I came to know this thing that she has marked my mail as SPAM through the mailer demon from yahoo, since my mail was rejected).

                                    I also tried to call her few times, however, I got a message from someone (snehal I guess ) stating "Arbi" would call back which did not happen.

                                    This gets me to the conclusion that the institue provides fake receipt to people who then take advantage of it. I request to take strict action against such activites. -- Thankyou

                                        The WM is not claning the cloths properly. As stated by the man of service centre the machine is made for cleaning of mild dirty cloths not for cleaning of dirty cloths.
                                        Kindly intervine into the matter.
