I have already submitted this complaint but there is no response till date.
I am in Jammu. In spite of the repeated request, service persons are not attending the machine, They keep on postponing the visit. The drum is not moving. They saw once and never turned up. I bought Elena DX in March 2010 from vasanth & Co, chennai.

The machine started to give problem from 20th May . To bring the service person to my house literally i need to make 5-6 call, when first service person came he change some parts and said machine will work, likewise IFB service persons came 6-8 visit in one month span (after 50 -60 phone calls totally in that month) still...

M/C Serial no-45736 date of Installation-17/06/2008. I have complained on Toll free no[protected] several times from my land line number-[protected]. My father had invested Rs 5,000/- on 1st June 1998 with M/s IFB Finance Limited, Kolkata vide FDR No. LC/C/98/90980, which matured on 21/05/2000.

He had since sent various reminders but with no results. In the meantime, he also sent letters to the Company Law Board, Kolkata and The Official Liquidator, High Court, Kolkata but till date there is no response even from them.

My complaint pertains to IFB Elite fully automatic washing machine bought in August 2006. Last year the washing machine was under Annual maintenance contract (AMC).

In May 2009, I faced a problem “Water would not drain out completely from machine after the washing cycle and some foul smell like wires burning came from the machine”.

we have been your customer for many many years. we take our AMC every year with the company through your representative. on 03/05/2010 we called your toll free number[protected] regarding a complaint. we were given the USER ID 803738 and complaint No. 4464149 stating that they will send a service engineer towards that. promptly nexd day an engineer came - diagnosed the problem - assured to come with some spares...

I lodged complaint on or around 10-5-10, regarding washing machine hardware is burst causing drum punctured, concrete blocks broken and causing loud noise and clothes getting soiled, so the machine is not in use since then. Experienced ridiculous response from franchisee as well as authorised dealer, I complained on customer [protected]@ifbglobal.com but no concrete action taken.

Difficult to fathom that within 3 years of purchase...
