we live in mumbai and have IFB digital 6kg machine which is in warranty, I have registered my complaint for the machine displays E-4 during the wash and the machine stops .After frequent follow up with the complaint ,the technician mr augistine pandey from ANTEK SERVICES,nalanda niketan ,flat no101,ground floor, datta mandir road ,malad(e),mumbai-400065-telephone 28839823 comes to my residence his first visit and says the error was due to some mistake water inlet pipe he rectified the work, but the problem was not solved the machine was still showing E-4 and again my wife shobha lodged the complaint and after frequent follow up of 10 days mr augistine pandey came and dismantled the complete machine and told us that mice had eaten up the wire of the machine and hence showing E-4. Till today the machine is not fixed and we are again following up with Mr Technician.
It is very pathetic the way IFB customer service works, I am a IFB customer from last 12 to 13 yrs and never I had to faced this kind of problem--------and as per your technican I did a big mistake by buying this new IFB digital as this machine is prone to faults and the faults are very costly to be repaired as compared to the old IFB non digital washing machine.

this is with terrible pain i would like to pen down my trauma i am facing from service station of IFB Thane Branch (Maharashtra) .(dhandeep services)

disenchantment came almost after 15years after using 3 machines of ifb and after suggesting all our friends and relative for the same product we use.
there is a water leakage issue in our ifb machine T-2900 DX other than that machine running all right, we called service support and they sent engineer, he inspected and gave the quotation., , and now to our utter surprise when we called them to change water Ceil and gasket they are telling that we will have to send our machine to service station cause they do not have engineer,
this is the first such experience, we were getting good and professional support earlier but this time it was horrible and one of the guy called santosh he talked to us as if we are defaulter of credit card/very poor .
i hope company may take all suitable action to solve our problem and improve service support for better time ahead.

    I purchased a new washing machine, IFB SENATOR DX, from JAYAM&CO,ANNA NAGAR, CHENNAI, on[protected] but not working. My I.D. NO. is 2149694. Though I complained in complaint no 3992464, the defect has not been completely rectified by stating that spare parts for the above new model washing machine are to be ordered for rectification. AS A RESULT, I COULD NOT USE THE MACHINE even after paying an amount of RS.30000/= HENCE I am now at loss and suffering from mental agonies by purchasing IFB WASHING MACHINE. I , therefore request immediate attention in the matter and take necessary action either to repair the macchine or to replace it with a new machine.

    IFB Senator — new maching not working

    i bought a IFB senator washing machine on 21/12/2008 and after the delivery the demo person came after 3 days of delivery and next day after he gave the demo and went when i saw surprisingly the machine was full of water when the machine was switched off when we complained imidiately the service guy came after 2 days and said there is a fault in the machine and some part has to be replaced then i told to replace the machine as we have still not used it and the machine is by delivery having a problem then the machine was replaced on 27/1/2009 and after 2 days of the replacement a service guy came and installed the machine and went the next day when we tried to use the machine the functions of the machine were not working then once again we complained and the next day a service guy came checked the machine and told that the programme board has gone and it has to be replaced i told him that this is the second time were are receiving a damaged piece so please take it back and give me a good working piece i don't want the new machine to be fiddled with on 29/1/ 2009 from then the IFB people are dodging and saying toget it repared how ever it is now today a service head Ponnuswamy told me he cant give a replacement of it so i can do what ever i want to do further

    now am prosseding towards comsumer forum for justice

      IFB Washing Machine - AW609021


      I have registered a complaint :3866215 ON 13/12/2009.(Permanent complint number:1311836) Still it is unresolved. I have spoken to Mr:Shankar of IFB:([protected]) who is least brothered to solve it.I have spoken Mr:Rajagopal - Franshise Owner. No responce till now. Machines was examined three times by two persons.Mealwhile my warranty period got over on 29/12/2009.

      Give reasons for not solving the isuue for a month and when will my machine will be reparied

        Hi,
        I had purchased an IFB Microwave oven, top of the line model, thinking that IFB is a reputed company. There was some error in typing the bill, so I requested him to send me the corrected bill. Also, the cooking bowls that come free with the product were not available at the time of purchase. (Diwali Time).

        Even the demonstration about how to use the product has not been made yet.

        Despite my regular follow-ups, so far I have not recieved either bill or bowl from the dealer (Mr. Ajay Devgun, MG Road, Delhi). He always says, he will call me in 5 mins. and never calls back. This has been going on for months and now he has stopped picking up the phone.

        Please suggest what should I do.

          As a customer who bought IFB machine ELENA DX5.5 Kg I am TOTALLY dissatisfied and FRUSTRATED to the core.Just within 2 months the machine broke down.More than that Even after 30 days(ticket reference 3844530) NOTHING happened inspite OUR FOLLOW UP DAILY.

          Worst part is I am hearing stories from thier service personnel(Raja gopalan -[protected],IFB service manager Shankar-[protected],Bala-[protected])
          1.How the part is not coming even till date.
          2.How there are less no.of people and MORE calls they are attending(reason for not recollecting my case-I have to explain everytime-almost every day)
          3.How there is a gap since some had taken leave
          4.Arranging(!!!) parts

          BUT NO ONE SEEMS TO HEAR THE CUSTOMER PROBLEM.

          I had to contact service manager on my own(THEY DONT SEEMS to HAVE A ESCALATION PROCESS?) after 20 days.

          With two little kids I am paying more to wash my clothes and WASTE TIME(with IFB washing machine justing sitting like a IRRITATING box occuying space).

          I am having doubts(will have),
          Wheher THEY have sold ONE of stock obsolete.
          Whether THEY are going put very OLD part if at all it is serviced(?)

          .Can ANYBODY RESPONSIBLE available in IFB?(respond -RESPOND)

            I am Vidyacharan of Chennai. We had purchased an IFB washing machine 2 years ago. The product is under AMC---Annual Maintenance Contract. We have been paying over Rs.1500 every year under the name of AMC. We had a problem with the washing machine over two months ago. We filed a complaint on 12 /11/2009 with the customer care/service center. We have been contacting them every day almost from that time. They say their people will come and rectify the problem within 24 hrs. But that has never happened. I live with my grandparents and they are senior citizens. They are already having their own health problems. They have been trying hard to contact those people. They simply point their finger at another person and thats all. In the end, there is no response. We have contacted all people from the lowest to highest levels in their company. I can even produce the list of dates on which I contacted them and whom i contacted. We would have contacted 15 different people but with no use. I have only been running my phone bills. We were forced to cancel our schedules waiting for them. We had to request our neighbours to take care if they turn up etc. But it has all gone in vain. This cant go on any further. I don't mind taking this matter to the court.
            I give a deadline of 2 days. Despite this, if they don't turn up, I want a compensation of Rs. 30,000 for the mental stress and torture my grandparents had underwent due to these people and a new washing machine.

            IFB WASHING MACHINE — worst maintenance service

            Believe it or not! My IFB washing machine is under AMC; it stopped working from October 2010 and from the time I started sending so many complaint calls, e-mails and letters to all the authorities of IFB that I could find in the internet. But, till now, no use. Although educated, they not even have the courtesy to give an appropriate response to their customers. Now, I have decided to face them legally.
            My parents are around 75, IFB collects AMC fees, but the technicians they have dont even no how to service. They had a similar problem, everyday you register a new complaint, the tso called technician comes and repairs ur machine further and says some sparepart is to be replaced that is not available. why is IFB selling machines if they cant provide spareparts- let them closedown their factories and outlets. This is the worst company that cheats on its customers

            My sincere advise- dont buy because the company has a brand name- they are thieves out there to rob us

              My IFB Elena modle washing machine is not working.This problem happened on 17.11.09 and that day itself I had registered my complaint to Vasanth & Co, Pattukkottai, Tanjore Branch. My Complaint No.is 3759320 and my permanent No. is 2104681.Regarding this I spoke many times with Vasanth & co Manager karthick, Demonsrator Selvaraj, Area IFB service incharge Senthil & Murali. They did n’t ggive proper response to my call and treated me as not a customer. My problem not yet solved.I request the responsible IFB person to take quick action to short out my problem and take action against those persons mentioned above.

                My washing machine is not working since last month and i have loged a complaint for it for 50 times. But till date i.e 7.01.2010 the problem has not been solved. The complaint details are 3869625 dated on 14.12.2009 and 3911602 on 23.12.2009. The authority is continuosly promising of sending the technician but at the end of the day nobody turns up. The complaint has even been even made to the higher authority (Mr Mitesh Jain, head of IFB, Gujarat). But yet no concrete steps have been taken and my machine has not yet started.

                  I bought IFB washing machine in June 2007 and during the warranty period of 2 years, we have gone through lot of problems like, shock during the running of the machine, noise during the washing, water tripping during washing, left over water after washing and poor wash quality etc., etc.,

                  We have battled to get the service representative/engineers to attend to the problem.

                  Now the machine is under AMC after the warranty period. The quality of service is not improving and frequent problems and the company is blaming the customer always.

                  Now the clothes are getting torn during washing and the service engineers are not able to locate the problem.

                  It is a bad product without any quality inspection before sale and also no proper customer care and satisfaction.

                  I would not recommend IFB washing machine to any body nor I would buy any IFB product at all in my life.

                  I am also thinking about selling this IFB washing machine and buying some other better brand.

                    I HAVE PURCHASED A WASHING MECHINE FROM QRS KOTTAYAM IN MONTH OF SEPTEMBER

                    AND AFTER ONE WEEK ONLY THEY INSTALLED DUE TO POOR SERVICE OF THE COMPANY.

                    IFB, Serena — IFB washing machine

                    I Sridhar.V purchased IFB serena washing machine 4 months back, now the machine is not locking and it is not taking water for washing from the overhead tank, complaint to company has given 1 week back, they were telling no stocks of locks, if i cal they were telling today tomoro and they were unable to give survice within 2 or 3days as on today still they were not given service

                      I had purchased the IFB Microwave oven model no 20sc1 from Bangalore in 2007.I received manual book for other model, I complained to the concerned person but he is not able to give me manual book for the said model hence I can't use this microwave without manual. I kindly request to send me the manuals for the said model through mail.

                        My dryer is not working since almost 1 month. Machine is under AMC with IFB (Customer code : 1389574). After lodging complaint technician attends after 5 - 6 days and further spoils the machine. I have asked many times for a senior engineer / knowledgeable person to look at the machine. But, still the company is sending people who do not know the work. Since last 20-25 days smoke and burning smell is also coming from the machine. My clothes are getting burnt in the dryer and I have to throw them away. I have already lost 3-4 cycles of clothes together worth much more than the cost of the machine.

                        On calling IFB they keep giving numbers of senior people who either don't pick up the phones or are never in the office. The service centre Antek Services is handling my service. I was able to contact Mr. Anil Diwakaran (supposedly someone senior and in charge) once around 15 days earlier. Now, he is always avoiding my call.

                        Looking at their damn care attitude, I realise that I made a mistake buying an IFB product and also urge other people not to buy IFB Products. By buying IFB not only is one faced with faulty machines and the regular service issues but also financial losses by clothes getting spoilt / destroyed in their machines.

                        I, too have a problem with their service not only regarding my clothes dryer, but my washing machine also. I agree that their service is going from bad to worse and I am still awaiting their service for both my machines
                        I agree 100%. They take too long to come, when they came spoilt the dryer more. Mr Anil is irresponsible. I called antek 25 times and ms meenaksi there rold me everytime that the technician will come in some time. They were to come befor 12 and they came after 5 the next day. I can't even begin to explain my frustration dealing with them. Similar and worse experience with IFB very poor service. They should be audited for consumer grievence and sued. Horrible service

                          Sir,
                          On 25 Mar 2009, I bought IFB washing machine model no. 6563 ( A/ccount No. 1837229 )from Arvee Electronics.
                          I am disappointed because the service you provided after the purchase is pathetic. The product given to me is defective which I am compalining from day one but there is nobody in IFB to listen to customer after sale is done. I registered complaints so many time but without any solution they get closed and when I chase in customer care they just like a fool says onely one typical answer " we will escalate it". Nobody in customer care gives number of a senior authority to whom I can speak. I got number of Ms Ankita Srivastav who is service Incharge of my area and madam is very busy she never picks up her phone and by chance she picks her phone makes false commitments that she will send an engineer, never stand by her commitments and don’t even bother to call back and confirm whetehr the service is provided or not.
                          I will not waste and talk about previous complaints (TT[protected], the recent one was logged in on 27th Nov 2009 and till date I am calling customer care & Ms Ankita so called service incharge and good for nothing female to know when engineer will come. Over and above this in my last call she said " Madam apko apni machine theek karwani hai na tho wait karo nahi tho jahan tak jana hai jao and don’t call me " every time answer I get from her is Engineer is on leave , he is out of town as if IFB have only one engineer who is going to visit my place. I am poor customer and giving a call on the daily basis in customer care but nobody from IFB bother to revert back.
                          THIS KIND OF SERVICES IS NOT AT ALL ACCEPTABLE. This is in breach of our contract as laid down by the law.
                          To resolve the problem I require you to either refund/ replace my machine ASAP whilst reserving my right to claim against you.
                          I look forward to hearing from you and to a resolution of this problem. I will wait for one more day before arranging for the matter to be corrected by a third party at your cost or seeking help from Trading Standards, consumer group, solicitor etc .

                            Hi,

                            This is Sivasankar from Chennai working with a Leading IT company. I am an IFB Customer as well...

                            I got an issue with my Washing M/c (ELENA Model) and raised a complaint thru Call center and a Service center guy came on 26th and he said a component need to be changed and we asked him to change it immediately. As he doesn't have that spare he told us that he will change it on next day (27th Dec). But he didn't turn up on 27th..we guess as it was sunday he can't able to make it..but from next day (Monday)..I made several calls to customer care(IFB) and Chennai (Velachery Area) Service center, but I didn't any proper response from both....I got irritated by Service center people.

                            Since from Monday I made more than 50 calls to Service center but and 15 calls to customer care ..............No use at all.

                            I was getting the responses like..

                            > Service engineer will reach in another 1 hr... by today.... It was continued for 3 days.

                            even I got responses like .."we already sent the Service engineer but his mobile is swithched off"..

                            I got the Service Center Manager number..when i was trying to talk..he was not even ready to listen the customer's complaint/problem and atlast he said everything will be done by that day...but again i din't any update.......................................................

                            Atlast after making 100's of calls One executive came to my house and he was asking what is the complaint ?:-) and again as he didn't bring the required spare..again it is not resolved....(Wednesday night 30th Dec). I hope atleast by tomorrow it will be done..but not sure.

                            I am composing this mail by 11:30 PM ..think How much I(customer) got irritated.........


                            I really don't understand why IFB need to have a call center..and So many service center to provide such a poo...............or service. Now I felt I could have asked a road side Washing machine repair shop.

                            Atleast from you I need a proper response..........or just lemme know IFB's Sales Team or Marketing team mail id. Let them know abt their service which they are providing to the customers.

                              I have been using IFB dishwasher for some years. Whenever there were problems with the dishwasher, the service technicians failed to solve these even in several visits. The quality of customer service is pathetic. After lodging any complaint, I had to make several calls to make them come home to attend to the problem. Some of the telephone numbers of service engineers given to me are not answered at all.

                              Recently, I lodged a complaint on 23 December 2009 [Complaint No. 3909243]. Until today the problem has not been identified or solved. After me reminding them several times, a service engineer visited and wasted my time (he came thrice). He could not identify the problem. Every time, he came up with some new causes and sold washing/descaling products worth Rs 2000 to me. This was in the name of cleaning the dishwasher. [Please note that I had bought 20 packs of the same washing /descaling powder 2 months back, where the technician at that time had used 10 at a time. There was no dirt to be cleaned again now]. 2 days back, the customer service once again made a false promise saying that a technician will definitely come and attend to the problem. I cancelled all other plans, took leave and waited in the house for two days, but no one came. Until now no one has come to attend to this problem.

                                I bought an IFB microwave M-2901 when they first started in India. It cost me Rs 16,000 then. From the first day nobody came to give a demo, after a lot of phone calls to the company they sent a man who said he didn't know how to operate the machine. The company also refused to give us an owners manual for the microwave.

                                Then we realised that it doesn't heat the food like a microwave does but takes the same time as an electric oven does. After repeated calls to the company's top brass they sent men over who either damaged the machine or didn't know what to do with it or who damaged the original parts and installed local parts that burnt.

                                Also the door kept coming apart and IFB said that the door isn't under warranty.

                                Finally the machine went out of warranty and then even under AMC they refused to do anything about the machine. Finally they refused to come to my house even though the machine was under AMC.

                                We finally stopped renewing the AMC. When I called the company they refused to talk to me, and kept lifting the phone and then keeping it back down so I lost my money, this continued for about 400 calls.

                                Once a lady "Kumkum' took the call and asked me to buy a new machine since mine was old and they didn't have any support for it.

                                People at the service centre also said they didn't know about my machine. This complaint is prevalent all over the net for all IFB products.

                                The office in calcutta where the CEO sits does not answer the phone. I have 6 numbers for IFB, all cel phone numbers but they are all switched off, the landline number has a person who puropsely lifts the phone and keeps it down to ensure you lose money. These belong to people high up in the ranks.

                                Right now the machine is just lying at home and I'm at a big loss.

                                  I have purchased IFB20SC2 convection microwave on order. I made payment as was asked byagent on home delivery. On opening I watched the gift voucher of Rs.2000/-. when I contacted the agent, He dint replied satisfactory. last date of gift voucher is 31st dec 2009. how I can get the redemption on my item. Plz suggest.

                                    I have purchased convection microwave oven of IFB company 20SC2. there was a gift voucher of 2000 which states weiver of 2000/- rupees. Dealer dint told about it.I have seen it at home. now dealer does not provide the discount and this offer is valid upto 31st dec 2009. Today it is 29th dec 2009. what I have to doi. please suggest.

                                    Wanted Rowdis, serial killers, prisonneers , etcc. to do justice
                                    I have been cheated by IFB Home Appliance, and i want someone to do justice by any means....i give money , and you cut head !!! Justice has to be done. Food poisonning, Road accident, hospital miscare,...rape, etc...acid bottle...
                                    yes, IFB customer care no. is never available. Its wrong. service is very poor and they make fool of people

                                      hello sir! am palanimuthu from putlur.(near tiruvallur). my washing machine s not working properly. the problem is the active led repeatedly flashes near d ending stage n does not come to end. and i have contacted the guy who has come for the demo.. but his mobile is switched off. he wud have given wrong no. and he dint give the purchase bill too... so pls take this complaint nd send us the people from service station immediately.... am expecting fruitful reply from ur side.......

                                        This is Bindu from Hassan, Karnataka. I actually purchased IFB 7kg fully automatic digital washing machice in the name of my father, B.N.Ramaswamy from NEXT Showroom on Monday, 21.12.09. They told Company service person will come show demonstration within 2 days. But till now they haven't come.After so many phone calls to showroom they told they have already registered on Monday itself. After that one fellow by name, Chethan phoned up today, i.e., on 26.12.09 at 12.20PM and asked about address and told he will come and attend today itself. He is simply telling he will come and he has said to showroom he has sent a person to our place, is he playing a fool with us. Is this is the service your are giving. It is going to be almost one week and no service man had come till today. Its a very bad service.

                                        Sir, this is to bring to your notice that we have been having problems with our IFB washing machine, Supremo Deluxe Model, and when informed to the IFB Industries Ltd, Whitefield Road, Bangalore, they contacted their Franchise, Supreme Global Services and though the machine was repaired thrice, we are not satisfied with their work since the problems still persist inspite of our spending about Rs. 5000/- .The machine is not working properly. Moreover, they have changed the stone and the steel plate which according to us, was not at all necessary and they insisted on taking the changed parts along with them, though it was not at all damaged. We have retained the same with us. When we complained to the IFB Industries that the problem still persits, they said they will warn the franchise, but no further action was taken. We request you to give us some other franchise contact no and address in Bangalore, so that the problem can be solved as soon as possible.
                                        Hi this is Ragavendra from Bangalore. First i would like to update that IFB machines are not good. There are some or the other problem always been there. Secondly Phone are not reachable to the service centers. Thirdly after service they don't give you the bill, which is very strange.
