Dear Ms.Monica, Millan Chandola & Mr. Tamim,
I had lodged a complaint of malfunctioning of my IFB Front loading washing machine - vide complaint no. 3651795 ON 21/10/2009 in the afternoon, with a confirmation about my present address - Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095, which remains unheard till this moment.
The series of discussions goes as following:
I lodged the complaint on 21/10 at the customer care no. [protected] - The customer care executive confirmed that the address in the system is A113 SMV, which was my 3 years old address.
I confirmed that it was the old address and was corrected to the new address as Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095. about 1.5 years back also.
On request the customer care executive again updated the same on the system as Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095.
When there was no call from IFB for 2 days I again called up customer care to be tolled that the complaint is cancelled, who did it was not answered.
The customer care executive again confirmed that the address is A113 SMV, which was gain corrected on 23/10/2009 as Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095.
We were given the contact no. of the local service franchise MGB services [protected] and told if you are in hurry please contact them directly.
Our unfortunate luck the phone at MGB services was not answered till today as was either busy or ringing.
Again I tried to lodge the complaint at the customer care executive on 26/10/2009 morning at 930 AM to be told that the address in the system is A113 SMV -- to my surprise the system though updated at least 4 times for change of address still picked up the same old address , which was gain updated to the new & present address as Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095.
I tried to reach out Ms. Monica - contact no. given by customer care as [protected] , which was answered by another gentleman who confirmed that IFB listens only if the MD/ Chairman office is contacted in kolkatta. Thus still I could not reach Monica to register the complaint getting unheard as the no. in the system of their own customer care executive is wrongly updated.
I contacted the customer care again - again to be told that my address is A113 and not the present address Flat No S2, B14, Vivek Vihar , Phase 1, New Delhi - 110095............... I think why IFB poses of being a global company when the system for attending the complaint does not register the correct address............ I lost the hope of ever getting my machine repaired.
A last try I gave few moments back to call the local service franchise MGB services [protected], which was answered by Ms. Kajal only to confirm there is no pending request no. 3651795, in spite she confirmed to depute a person at the earliest to attend the machine.
I ................... do not know whether to wait for the customer care executive to update the correct address as the system does not accepts the corrections ( Reflects after doing the same n no. times - 3 times today itself), or just leave it to destiny or approach the Consumer forum grievance cell to compel IFB to correct my machine and compensate for the mental torture I am going thru.
One thing is clear -- use IFB machines till they don’t require service and then junk them as service call will be unheard.
Sorry to state - but actually aggrieved customer.

Senator 6kg — Machine makes white clothes brown
i have an AMC contract with my Senator washing machine which expires this month 25th March, There was no AMC prevantive maintenance visits made during the one year period, During the complaint visit which was registered once the engineer just brushed the dust out of the control switch and boxed the same, The quality of washing is very bad, i am afraid to wash my branded clothes in the machine which is washed by hand by me by doing this the very concept of having a washing machine is defeated, If I may mention your engineers are not service oriented but Sales oriented selling powders, This utterly defeats the very purpose of having an AMC,I had recd a call for AMC renewal, I requested to repair the problem faced of not clean washing the engineer who visited wiped the external surface of the machine, cleaned the filter and asked me to renew the AMC, This is not expected from engineer any person can do the same, I require my machine to make soiled clothes clean not make them brown, All my new white shirts are brown and dull,
