sir,
i bought ifb washing machine senorita DX 5 kg on february 2009. with in 2 months it showed its quality and i informed vasanth & co where i purchased about its repair. then i booked a complaint in customer cell. No one came 15 days even after my complaint. That day night one man came and he just opened machine and told sir i dont have tools to repair and i dont know to solve, tmw another technician will come, he then left. But next day and for 8 days no one came. Then i went to vasanth &co on 23rd day of my complaint, i shouted there. vasanth & co manager called ifb rep and gave his mobile to me, i talked with him, but he was serious that i should not talk at that shop, so that other costomer will understand the truth. i told i[censored] r serious like this, y didnt u send anyone to rectify these 23 days. he told tomorrow morning one will come. but next day no one came. so again i called vasanth manager, he told please dont allow any rep if come then, and he told i will give u a fresh machine tomorrow.

Next day no response from vasanth and co and ur people. so finally i told vasanth manager that i will not tolerate then and i wil return machine. then imtly ifb people came and they took a long time to rectify it and it was normal then.

But my high openion on ifb couldnt be continue. We found water leakage and informed costomer service and got my ticket no 3308582 and they told with in 24 hours our people wil come and rectify. Yesterday one man called from ifb and told by 8.30pm shall i come. though it was untime i told to come and i was waiting for ur people. Imtly i told vasanth manager that i have booked a complaint and one has told night he will come, but if no one come, what shall i do? he told if anyone comes, give me a call. But as ifb standard, still no one replied me for not coming yesterday and wasted our time also no reply so far that when will they come.

Sir, i got BITTER EXPERIENCE with IFB washing machine, that with in 3 months of purchase 2 time repair and Your coimbatore peoples poor and bad service.

I[censored] want to maintain ur company standard, do needful in my matter.

Or i[censored] also will be silent and there is no remedy to me, its ok.

Because I Have to face this Punishment for choosing IFB.

Dear Sir,

First of all we lodge a complaint online at 39004321 and got a complaint no. ie. 3998045 in the name of Rakesh Ahuja, HNo 3834, FF, Sector 32-D, Chd. after that we got a contact person at Chandigarh of Madam Meenu and Mr. Rajinder Kr, we are regularly contacting these persons since last 5-6 days aprox. and they committed to us today engineer will come. But still we are sorry to say that till date nobody reached our house to repair the fully automatic IFB machine for which we lodge complaint. This kind of service given by IFB people. We have bitter exp. with such a good co.and in future we take care of this also.
I agree with Mr. Stephen. I wanted a replacement for the glass turning table of my Microwave Oven Neutron Grill. I called them twice in 3 months. The latest one Customer complaint No 5055435. My customer id 2451012. Nearly 20 calls. Nothing has happened. My friends at Hyderabad also have similar complaints. IFB seems to be slackening or the responsibility of customer care is in wrong hands.

Sir/Madam,

I am one of the IFB Washing Machine Customer. I Purchased the IFB Washing Machine for Rs.23, 500/- on 10/08/09.(Model - WE SENORITA DX SR.NO. WT SENDX B 092743) at Bhrath Electronics, Coimbatore with ready cash.
I Purchased the IFB Washing Machine for Rs.23, 500 on 10/08/2009 with ready cash at Bharath Electronics, Coimbatore.
I would like to complaint you that from the beginning onwards the machine is having some problems (The Drum is not rotating, the switch is oftenly switched off etc., ) For that I call to the customer service But whenever I call they said that they will come tomorrow but they didn't.
So that I report to the section office and Bangalore. But the response is too bad, Again I call in the month of January For that a technician came on Ist of April and he told that the belt is not in good manner. So that I paid Rs. 600/- Even after the next day the machine is not rotating
Again I complaint for that Another Technician came in the month of May and he asked me to change the board. And he came and change the board after one month. After that the machine is functioning only three days. Once again the drum is not rotating properly. So I complaint to Bangalore section on June First week. They said after 24 Hours the technician come. But they didn't. Totally the customer care service is very bad in coimbatore city.
Response is not proper in coimbatore customer IFB Service. Only mistake I have committed is purchase(Ready Cash) of IFB washing machineBecause of this
I have many mental strain. I am totally disturbed. I Want immediate solution. Please replace this machine with new washing machine.

Technician Mani, his manager Mr.Sathish and some bloody guy called Mr.Alok all are good in wiping the of their own and their managers and point fingers at others.
What IFB customer care in CBE knows is

to be RUDE and IGNORANT --

I also totally agree .customer care in coimbatore is the worst.I have been using my nachine in mysore for four years n dint have a single problem with the customer.It used to be the technician who called us when we registered the complain.back in cbe its the reverse, I had to call them that too keep track of the numbers as each time a new person turns up.to top it all they know is change the switch, drum, board, lock...prob they get trained with our machine,

    MY ABOVE MODEL MICRO OVEN WAS PURCHASED BY ME ON 4TH JANUARY, 2008 FROM AN EXIBITION ORGANISED BY OUR COMPANY AT OUR PREMISES "APEEJAY HOUSE" .
    THE ABOVE MICRO OVEN WAS OUT OF ORDER AND A COMLAIN WAS LODGED TO THEIR CUTOMER SERVICES JUST BEFORE EXPIRY OF GUARANEE PERIOD ON 2ND / 3RD JANUARY 2009. SERVICE ENGINEER WAS VISITED AND TOLD US THAT ONE OF THE PART HAS TO BE REPLACED AND IT COST RS. 1600/-. I SAID IT IS WITHIN GUARANTEE PERIOD AS SUCH COST WILL BE BORN BY THE IFB. THE SERVICE ENGINEER MR. GHOSH COULD NOT REPLACE THE DAMAGED PART AND MADE IT IN OPERATION ANYHOW AND SAID IT WILL NOT WORK FOR LONG TIME.

    JUST AFTER TWO MONTHS .THE OVEN BECAME NON OPERATION POSITION. I LODGED MANY COMPALIN BUT THE COMPANY DID NOT RESPOND. MACHINE IN NON-OPERATIONAL POSITION SINCE LAST 2-3 MONTHS.

    COMPANY SHOULD REPLACE THE FAULTY PART FREE OF COST AS THE MACHINE WAS IN WARRANTY PERIOD WHEN IT STOPPED WORKING.

    I have purchased microwave oven on[protected] at padmapriya home appliances, Rajampet, kadapa dist. Model No.20SC2, Convection, but till to date[protected] i dont know how to coock in microoven, because the company not send any technician, i have call so many times to technician, but there is no responce. this is not correct for ifb company, now the ifb microwave oven is in my showcase. p.s.afroz basha - [protected]
    i have called to ifb microwave oven technician cell no [protected] & [protected] many times(from[protected] to till to date[protected], ) for demo, but there is no responce model no 20SC2 convection microwave oven, my address, p.s.afroz basha, 6/585-A, Saraswatipuram Street, near Rly.Station, Rajampeta (Post) kadapa dist. andhra pradesh, 516115.

      i had purchased ifb washing machine senoritadx model no 007222 on 27/07/2008 .since then it has develoed faults 5- 6 times. service engineer comes with a great difficulty. now again it malfunctioning repeated complaints no 3274373 has not been able to attract the service departments attention. totally disgusted with service and quality.

        I am having this IFB Elena Fully Automatic Washing machine Sr. No. 28967.
        I am having AMC dt 25/01/09, vide Book No. 230, Serial No. 11478 from Lucknow Branch, and paid Rs.1910/-.
        1. One complaint was registered in call centre on 16/06/09 vide ticket no. 3145809. It took more than a week to get the complaint redressed.
        2. It lasted for only about few days and then again a fresh complaint was lodged on 07/07/09 vide ticket no. 3225326. It again took more than a weeks time for the complaint to get redressed and that too after too much of followup with the authorities.
        3. Hardly few days had passed that the same problem cropped up once again and the complaint was once again lodged on 24/07/09 vide ticket no. 3292540. This was done at 9:25 in the morning of 24th but even after 96 hours no service engineer has turned up

        IFB fully automatic washing machine — Installation to be made.

        I purchased IFB washing machine on 08/03/09, i am waiting for installation for one week but still not installed and nobody turned up from the company in spite of the repeated request to the help line, no service persons are attending the machine, I am not able to understand the reasons for their casual attitude.I am surprised that no higher officials even bothered to take any action. I can't expect such a minute negligence from SUCH A BIG AND RENOWNED COMPANY!

        IFB Elena Washing Machine — Poor Service

        The worst sevice i have seen throughout my life is of IFB washing machine. Know i came a conclusion that in IFB there is not a single person who thinks that it's our responsibility of taking care of customers. Such a useless kind of people are these.
        I agree with you IFB have worse customer care service. Our 6 Kg Digital front loading Washing Machine not working. We have called and as well Posted our complaint on thair web page, but since 3rd of May - 2010 on one came to solve the problem. We are really regret to purchased this Product.

        IFB fully automatic washing machine — poor customer care

        It is horrifying to see the no' of complaints and the very poor customer care that ifb is providing. our washing machine has broken down 2ice in 2 months and tho the first time itself the response was bad, like we indians tend to lean towards, we let it pass. but now 3 weeks after calling we are still to use the machine, someone came and stripped it apart and it is lying like a piece of junk (which it should become) in our home.
        ifb advertises its customer care no's and sure enough that is the no' that is used up most often.

          We bought FIB Executive Elite Front Loading washing machine (S# 23683) on 05/01/2004 from IFB Industries Limited, Ghaziabad. About a month back its drum stopped rotating. We registered our complaint to the local Aligarh agent who asked us to contact Mr Chandan Singh, their authorized service technician. We contacted him on phone and he promised us a visit next day. No body turned up. I personally visited his residence cum workshop to request him to come to see the machine. Three days later 2 technicians came, checked the machine, and told me that its speed control board was defective but they could not replace it as it was not readily available. They left promising to come next day. Since then I have been calling them but no repair so far. I urge upon the FIB Industries to look into the matter and get my machine fixed as early as possible. Looking forward for a quick response.

            I have IFB microwave oven model 20SC1 bought it from Bangalore about 2 years back. The oven was out of order for more than 6-months inspite making complaints at Bangalore. At Bangalore service personnel visited and told that Magnum worth of Rs.2500/- has to be replaced and I agreed to change it, but that service personnel did not turn up for attending to it. Subsequently, I was transferred to Chennai during February, 2009. After transfer to Chennai, whenever I tried to call the toll free number for service of ifb, no one would attend it and the voice recorder will be on and would instruct to record the complaint. Hence, I sent a email to the consumer complaints and inspite of it no one attended to the complaint. Finaly, with great effort, I found out the service centre of IFB at chennai and recorded my complaint on 06.06.09 and the service personnel attended to it. They also told that the Magnum worth of Rs.2500/- need to be changed and I told them to change. I have informed them about other complaints also non-functioning of convection and to clean the window glass pan as dirt got in between the panel. On 06.06.09, they suggested me to go in for Anual Maintenance Contract. Accordingly, I executed the Annual maintenance Contract on 06.06.09 by paying an amount of Rs.1143/-. On 08.06.09 the service personnel replaced the Magnum, but they failed to give receipt for the same. On 06.06.09 they told that they would attend the complaint of non-function of convection after about a month. In the mean time about 15 days ago, the timer was not functioning properly. I made a complaint with regard to it and the service personnel visited and they told that they would take the circuit board to the service centre and would replace it after service within 10-days. Even after 15 days, they had not replaced it and put it in working condition. On 22nd July, 09, I enquired about the status and they informed me that they would take another 15-days to rectify it. I am fed up with the service of the IFB. Most of the them it is idle and I am unable to use if even after spending a lot of money on it. Whenever, I tried to contact the Manager at Madras, Shri Ashok, he won't come on line and he would evade my calls. I need redressal for the callous attitude of IFB Service. We are put into a lot of inconvenience by doing the mistake of buying the IFB microwave oven. We need suitable compensation for the loss of money and inconvenience faced by us.

              My IFB machine is under AMC and started giving problems in Mar 09. All the clothes being washed were getting stained (yellow rust of some sorts). I was told that the drum needs to be replaced. Since then no one from the company or its service departments have shown up inspite of repeated calls and complaints. There website does not list any other way to go higher up in the organization either.

              Hope this helps other who are considering IFB products.

                I am Muralidharan, I purchased IFB TOP Loading Washing machine in Coimbatore.

                Past two weeks back I got a complaint on my washing machine and contacted the Call center to file a case, but they have not raised any complaint on my issue.

                I contacted to Shankar who is coimbatore incharge, he told he will be sending a technician to attend, but the technician dosen`t know anything about the TOP loading. I asked them to send me the person who really know about the TOP loading and for past 10 days I was really sick on calling them for service.

                Really its VERY VERY WORST SERVICE IN COIMBATORE. After a long quarrel I went to IFB service center near Womens polytechnic and shouted for the service.

                At my quarrel they send one guy for service, I am not sure what he made, the old complaint has gone and got other complaints in my Washing machine. I got the message that my ticket has been closed, I replied back that I am not satisfied on your service, but till now there is no call from IFB.

                I never came across like your service, THIS THE FIRST AND LAST IN IFB, I WILL NEVER BUY ANY IFB PRODUCTS IN MY LIFE.

                I have registered the new complaint on this issue I am not sure how this guys going to solve this.

                IFB Top Loader Washing Machine — IFB Top Loader Washing Machine

                My IFB machine is not working for last many days, Customer care never respond. Its one part is to be change butno response. Its having very bad service. I think I have done a very big mistake to beleive on IFB services. Whats ths thing if you are not getting service at time . Firstly they come very late to install. Now when there is problem in machine then they are not replacing. I think its very bad. Its employees just distrying image of this company. Company brand will be gud by the service providing by its employees. I am also an employee and I know how can we keep our company name. But in this IFB, IFB team should be specific during interviews. How their employees think about customers. Are they gud to fulfill requirement. Thats very bad. They are not responding calls.
                Guys I just wanna say, please take care about all these things. Otherwise IFB will loose the faith of their customers and just loose all your business.

                  With reference to my letter dated 12th JULY 2009, it is further to inform you
                  That I have purchased a IFB WM DIGITAL 7 KG from your authorized dealer SARGAM ELECTRONICS, 155, KAPIL VIHAR, PITAMPURA, DELHI-110034 VIDE THERE BILL NO SP-3313 DATED[protected] FOR Rs.27000/- (RUPEES TWENTY SEVEN THOUSAND ONLY)
                  That at the time of installation I was inform by your representative to opt for further extended warranty of two years apart from the warranty offered by the IFB for two years so the WM will be under warranty of four year from the date of purchase, against that the fib company will provide full comprehensive service against any defect at free of cost.
                  That your representative visit to me on 4-9-2008 and took Rs. 2809/- towards the extended warranty for the WM for the period from[protected] to[protected]. And issued me a RETAIL INVOICE/CASH/CREDIT MEMO NO7774 DATED 4-9-2008 BOOK NO.156.
                  That the above washing machine was never working perfectly.
                  That I used to lodge the complaint with your authorized service centre M/s. Power Electronics, shop No. 32, Uday Singh Palace, Naharpur, Sector-7, Rohini, Delhi-110085.
                  That there HIGHLY SKILLED service Engineers use to visit on every complaint
                  That in place of locating and rectifying the washing machine fault they were more interested to sale their other ancillary products.
                  That they sold their products as per their CASH MEMO No.302, book No. 7, dated[protected] for Rs.3853/-, CASH MEMO NO. 312, BOOK NO.7, DATED 4-9-2008, for Rs.1800/- and CASH MEMO N0.1925, BOOK NO.39, DATED[protected]. FOR Rs. 3145/-
                  That you may confirm from their record for the other products sold by them
                  That being an innocent customer I use to trust them for the best performance of washing machine and
                  Purchase their products.
                  That against my last complaint ON 7TH JULY 2009 A VERY HIGHLY SKILL SENIOR ENGINEER MR. B.K. CHAUDHERY visit to me to repair the WM and damage the whole machine by using the PLAIR AND HAMMER.
                  That none of your senior engineer visit me to check or replace the WM after 7th of JULY 2009.
                  That the WM is lying open in different damaged parts till date .
                  That his object to open the machine was to found any metal/metal coin but fails to and the same comments can also checked from his inspection (DESTRUCTION REPORT) DATED 7 TH JULY 2009
                  That the above said WM is not in the condition to re-assemble and work perfectly.
                  That being an ISO multinational company it is your moral duty to replace the NEW WM against the defected once.

                  IFB — IFB DIGITAL WM 7 Kg.

                  Dear Sir,
                  I purchased one Digital WM 7 Kg. of IFB on 6/11/07 and since begining it has problem and not functioning properly. I am fed up that even after spending Rs.30, 000/-I am having lot of problems with this machine. Machine is under AMC and even after repeated calls to call centre/local officials in Lucknow, no one comes and attends the complaints and sort out the problem.

                  I have registered a complaint on 2nd March 2009 and till date no one visited, I might have spend lot of money on phone calls to IFB company and its peoples but all are rubbish.

                  I have worst experience with IFB and suggest each and everyone to never buy the products of IFB otherwise you will get only tensions after spending your valuable money.

                  Please let me know should I file a consumer court case against the company and claims for 100% refund of my money Rs.28490/- plus AMC charges Rs.2809/- besides harrassment cost Rs.50, 000/-

                  This is one of the worst and most bad company in terms of products quality and quality of service.
                  ref to my complaint the Engineer from IFB service center visit to me on 7th JULY 2009. He dismental the machine in different part by using hammer etc and broken the various parts of the machine during opening. After that I had contact the service center and there call center and there authorised sales distributors M/s. Sargam Electronics at Pitampura New Delhi but no action was taken by the company or there representatives.
                  I have doubt weather IFB is an ISO certified company and they manufacturer the appliances as per International quality code. With the episode will the owner/management of this company take any action to replace the new washing machine or what impression they wish to create upon there valued customers.
                  WITHOUT CUSTOMERS NO COMPANY CAN SURVIVE
                  I have also been the victim of IFB Washing machice after Sales and Service fraud. And now, there is another vendor "Rohini Service Centre", Sector-7, Rohini, New Delhi who are saying that they are experts on IFB washing machines but they are thiefs stealing spare parts from one machine and selling that spare to another customer on double the price an labour and then keeping the victim on hold that they will come tomorrow to fix the poor machine which is now totally screwed as a result of their technical expertise.
                  I keep on calling and they keep on saying we will come but they never come and i feel betrayed and duped of Rs. 4500/- which i had paid for their service and repair.

                  Please beware of these touts screwing your costly appliances. IFB as a company is a big time loser on the after Sales Service, here in India. You will end up calling their customer service, but their engineers never have the right spare to fix your appliance's problem.

                    I have an amc with ifb. I had given a complain about my machine not spinning. One of your technicians had come to repair it and had finished his job properly and had done a good job. Later in the evening when I want to use my machine and when I opened the front door is saw that the door hinge was broken. I immediately call the service center and told than. I was asked to speech to the area service manager. I called him and told him the problem; he gave me the service guy no. I called him to ask how is happened. But he denies that he has done it. And told me that the machine was in good condition when he left he didn’t check the front door as the problem was solve from the back of the machine. But if he didn’t open the front door how did he check whether the machine is working properly or not. And if he opened the door and if the door hindges was broken before why didn’t he bring that to our notice. Well the main problem is no one is attending my call. Even when I have give the complain back. And I am repeatedly calling the area manger and the manager mr. mitlesh jain . But no one is replying. I am not able to use my machine. For more than 20 days. Is that the kind of service are we looking for from such a giant global company. I am sorry to say that I have taken ur ifb machine and to add on your ifb amc.
                    Thank ... hope my problem will be solve asap. So that I can use my machine.

                      Our washing machine "Senorita Plus" is under annual maintenance contract (AMC) till 02/08/2011.
                      Since december 2008, there is a problem of water leakage from the bottom of the machine.
                      The service mechanic from Global Enterprizes came and changed the gasket and charged us Rs. 750/= on 04/12/2008.
                      The problem persisted and some one came on 02/03/2009, changed the top hose by charging us Rs. 195.
                      The problem persisted and on 18/04/2009, another mechanic came but at the time of his visit there was no leakage. It was on this day that the AMC was extended for another two years as per the advice from him.
                      But the problem persisted.
                      On 15/05/2009 Another service mechanic (an unskilled person) came and changed the bottom hose charging us Rs. 125/=
                      But the problem persisted.
                      Finally sometime in june another mechanic came and found that the gasket of front door was torn and was fitted in wrong the wrong way. He asked us to pay for the new gasket or talk to Mr. Sharma of Global Enterprizes. Mr. Sharma assured of action in this regard.
                      Since then no mechanic has visited our place to see the machine. The machine continues to leak during running.
                      It is unfortunate that your company is unable to provide the maintenance despite us having a two year AMC.
                      For the last two weeks some one from Global enterprizes has been calling once in a week primising to send a mechanic but no body turns up.
                      Even after spending Rs. 750/= + Rs. 125/= + Rs. 195/= on parts and Rs. 2780 for Two year AMC, our washing machine is leaking.
                      The 24 hours customer care number[protected] is not working. After one ring it hangs on.
                      I urge upon the IFB company manager to take this email seriousness and send some skilled personnel to repair the washing machine. Needless to say that we should not be asked to pay for the gasket which was spoiled due to the negligience of the service mechanic from Global enterprises.

                      I hope someone at IFB cares to take a note of our situation and act on urgent basis.

                        2) We will arrange the wheel (a machine part) from GOA.

                        Now let me try to specify the agony of forwarding a complaint to "IFB" - A WELL RENOWNED GLOBAL NAME". It will sound like "RAMAYANA" to all concerned but thanks to your excellent support division:

                        Till date we have been provided with the following numbers to contact (i.e. Customer needs to contact and not the IFB officials)

                        1) [protected] - Belonging to Mr. Ajay but I was told yesterday by the call centre executive (Mr. Singh) that it belongs to Mr. Ashok.
                        2) [protected] / [protected] (For Mr. Mihr and Mr. Milind Chandola) -
                        These numbers belong to "Warehouse" and we were required / forced to talk to them on behalf of IFB as we are your Employees. To the best option available, they didn't pick up
                        the phones.

                        3) [protected] - (Mr. Mihr Kashyap - Area Manager) - We called him on Tuesday i.e. 02/07/09 and were told that he would call in 5 minutes as the "Top bosses" are around without asking our contact details / Ticket number. When we told him about this missing info, we recd a reply "Don't worry as I will find out". Till date no call back recd.

                        4) Yesterday evening and Today Morning, I again called up your call centre number to speak to a Senior official (Mr. Shashi Sethi) as his email account can't be provided. I was
                        assured that there would be call at about 1100 hrs today (10/07/09) for which there is only one option i.e. TO HOPE.

                        a) Why do I need to wait so long to rectify a problem?
                        b) Why do I as customer need to call your team Responsible for rectifying?
                        c) Who is liable for all these calls made?
                        d) If all zero downs to your Franchise from where the Machine was purchased, then why on earth your call centre numbers are specified?
                        e) Why there is no "Escalation Procedure" in place?
                        f) Why there is no revert back in form of email or call?
                        g) I even specified this issue on your website but BELIEVE ME, NO REPLY FROM THERE TOO. What an ORGANISATION???????????

                        a) Why I need to wait that long?
                        b) Why I need to call every time to know the status?
                        c) Why there is "No Escalation Procedure" in place in IFB?
                        d) Why are the executives hesitant to provide the email addresses / contact details of their seniors for escalation?
                        e) Why Can't I have a replacement till my machine is corrected?
                        f) Why on the site after registering your complaints there is no number provided + no correspondence is done in black and white i.e. written confirmations or denials
                        g) Why do I get failure reports on the emails forwarded to them (sometimes) on the following two addresses which have been confirmed on various occasions?

                        I perchansed IFB washing m/c one year back and many times complaints came. I raised complaints but many times it takes 15-20 times request to service the product. Last 2 months my washing m/c does not work and nobody cares to correct it.

                        I got the helpline no from the net and must have foned number of times but it seems the attitude of IFB is sell it forget them. Its been 20 days and no body seems interested in helping us, they seem to enjoy only talking to us i hope they r not using virgin mobiles and get paid for incomming. Please if thers anybody sensible enough in IFB listen to our complaints

                        IFB has become the worst company. They never attend complaints quickly. Not even quickly, they do not even care. There's no use calling up those Call Center people in the Toll Free number! They do not at all respond. I suggest everybody that buying any IFB product is the worst mistake of your life!! Please do not do so!

                        IFB automatic — unsat installation

                        My ifb washing machine was installed 3 days back. it is an automatic digital machine. The machine was checked by the engineer named rajender and said everything is fine. later next day when it was used for the first time excessive vibration was observed. we removed the portable stand, but still there is vibration.
                        2. All operation buttons are not functioning.
                        3. Post washing, water is not getting drained out from drain pipe, but on opening the front door, all water comes out from it.

                        request check by your service engineer and proper demonstration of al operation modes by him.

                        suggest some standard guideline which the installation engineer should follow and show operation of modes to new customers.
                        I have a IFB washing machine which is giving a lot of trouble, the water from the machine leaks when the machine is in running, there is water all over the place once it is switched on. To add to it now even the detergent is not being drawn for wash when the machine is turmed on. The service levels are toooo BAD. There is no one to attend the phone call and once it is attended there is no one turning up.

                        REQUEST THE CONCERNED AUTHORITIES TO LOOK INTO THIS AND IMPROVE THE SERVICE LEVELS of IFB WASHING MACHINES IN HYDERABAD. I HAVE ALREADY SHELLED OUT RS 5000 FOR SERVICE SO FAR EARLER STILL THE PROBLEM CONTINUES. IS ANY ONE HEARING AT ALL. PLEASE DONT GO FOR IFB WASHING MACHINES AT ALL.

                        My cousing who also has a IFB washing was facing the same problem. In his case atleast the servive was given to him after 45 days though he has a AMC with IFB.

                        IFB — Poor response to complaint under warranty

                        I have made a complaint regarding faulty waching machine (6 KG Senator) with Toll free no. [protected] in the month of October 2008. I had been assured about rectification of problem within 24 hours. However the complaint is pending till date and nobody from IFB is ready to reply satsifactorily. Since then I have been regularly reminding them but to of no use. Latest complaint no. given by local service centre of Jammu is "417".

                        IFB / Washing Machine — No response from Comapny executives on complaints.

                        On 28 Mar I requested for repair of my washing machine and was assured that complaint will be serviced within 24-48 hours. An engineer visited the next day and noted the parts needed (machine in not under AMC). But since then I've given about 3 calls a day to the local service centre at Mathura (Uttar Pradesh) but there has been no response. Such pathetic attitude only makes me wonder at my decision of purchasing this company's product in the first place was right or not?

                        No body from IFB is bothering to furnish my service complaints of My IFB Washing Machine (Model- Executive) for last 4 days. This is also to be noted that my washing machine is under AMC contract for last 3 years. Last time also, the response time was pathetic. I think that nobody should go for any IFB product otherwise he will face lot of pain being a customer (Kast - Mar).

                        IFB WASHING MACHINE — Very Poor post sale &customer care

                        I bought a new IFB (Senetor) washing machine. The machine is not working appropriatly from the day it has landed/installed (thats what they claim). The wash cycle knob gets stuck quite often and also some times it take more than 3 hours to complete. I have been trying to get place a complaint but the phones put me in endless hold and the person who installed the machine responded once and asked me to turn the dial a couple of cycles and restart and try. But it did not help and still I have to turn the knob manually if it is stuck in a place for more than 30 minutes. when I tried few more times to call the person who installed, he does not even pick up the phone. It is really very very poor customer care.

                        I recently moved to Koramangala, Bangalore. My IFB washing machine executive plus did not work. We registered a complaint with IFB Customer care who sent service personnel from Harinidhi Enterprises, the service personnel came with a very callous and intimidating attitude, asked us to replace the pump at a cost of Rs 5600/- and then they told that if we donot take AMC then they will not attend to the machine as a result under compultion we took AMC . They repaired, but the machine didnot work, we registered a second complaint again some different service personnel came did some jugglary without knowing what they are doing and went back without setting the machine right.we lodged a third complaint again a service technician came today but could not set right the machine . My present complaint no. is 3250457.Till now i have spent close to 8000/- but the machine has not been set right.The service technicians also carry back the so called failed and we are really surprise as to whether their diagnosis of the problem is correct or not.Regularly I am speaking to one Mr.Raghvendra, who claims to be a partner of Harinidhi Entp. Wilson Garden and always has an edge in his voice and is evasive in his replies even, he makes us feel that by providing paid service he is doing a favour to us.In addition if we ask for telephone no. of his superior he provides with misleading telephone numbers.

                        Kindly look into the matter and help me in resolving the issue.

                        I also have a complaint against IFB, I have a 7kg digital washing machine which has developed some trouble, I had first complained in March '09 and on repeated reminders there has been a visit by service personal from the franchisee but my machine has not been repaired till now Oct' 09 in spite of getting three ticket numbers. The first one they have themselves cancelled as refused without even talking to me and the others they don't bother to take up. IFB has the worst after sales service whereas they go to all lengths to pursue customers to pay them extra for the so called extended warranty. More over as a clever ploy they don't maintain an e-mail ID for registering complaints/or even any e-mail ID, as this would generate record with the complainants . There is need to set up a front to stop such companies /dealers/franchisees from committing more wrongs on the citizens .

                        6 weeks ago I made complaint and representative from A ONE ENTERPRISES, CHENNAI - 600030 visited my house and checked the machine and said the TUB is leaking and that has to be changed. After repeated requests over phone and personal visit, their answer is "IFB IS NOT SENDING SPARES AND WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR THE TUB". Finally went personally today and they said they will come and replace today. Visited my house today and changed the TUB, it is unbelievable the way water pours from the TUB like shower. Mr.Satheesh is a technician, he raises his hands and saying that they can not do anything bcos IFB is sending such spares like this and they asked me to wait till they get new spares from IFB. Really fed up after waiting more than 6 weeks, they can't even check the TUB before they fit it??? Such a big and branded company IFB, are they not in a position to supply spares to their Franchisee??? It is unacceptable and rediculous to have such services from IFB. I expect some immediate response and action from IFB customer care to avoid any further legal involvement in this issue. A ONE ENTERPRISES not even updating or informing customer whats happening unless customer visit them personally. Appreciate concern desk to take necessary action in this matter and make sure to organise even thru other Franchisee to change the TUB otherwise I have no other option but to take it up consumer forum and also publish my bad experience in local articles so that other customers will not suffer like me. 17.11.2009

                        We purchased an IFB washine Machine Executive Plus on April 9, 2007. Serial No. WTEX+B 139169

                        The dealer's name is (I think) K.V.Anil (the name on the customer copy of the warranty card is not very legible)

                        The machine has been giving trouble almost from the very first year of the purchase. The service offer on registering the complaint is absolutely unsatisfactory, inasmuch as on an average it takes 3 days for the technician to visit and attend the complaint. That too after a number of telephone calls at different levels. This in contrast with an earlier IFB machine which we used for years without much complaint, and reasonably good repair service.

                        The difference as we understand has to do with the replacement of steel drum with a plastic drum in the new models. This was also the explanation given which is no solace to the consumer.

                        We are now charged Rs.850.00 for the change of pump and the V.belt, as they are not covered by the valid contract. If the problem is arising because of the defect in the make, as it appears to be in the present case, charging us with Rs.850.00 is totally unjustified.

                        I would request you to personally look into the matter and effect corrective action, and also refund the amount of Rs.850.00 we are asked to pay, under your Customer Service Department Ticket no. 4362617( Job No. 53023) dated April 09, 2010.

                        We have booked complaint for IFB washing machine 2 months back. We have repeated complained several times on the Toll free number as well as the service centre. Inspite of repeated complaints, every time, they are saying that spares yet to be received / engineer not available. The machine is under warranty. We are totally fed up with the service of IFB. Will a company take 2 months to attend a complaint. They are claiming to be no.1 in the washing machine segment. The manager at the service centre is not availble at any time. he is not even picking up the calls.

                        IFB WASHING MACHINE — Not responding to AMC

                        I have a IFB Washing machine Executive model. For the past one month the machine could not be used beause its making heavy noise during running. Especially spinning could not be used due to heavy viberation. Logged a conmplaint with the service center on July 2nd 2010. This complaint was closed without even attending to it. Again called up the serive center on 22nd july and logged a new complaint.

                        On 24th a technician came and saw the meachine and said the drum bearing has to be replaced and as it is in the AMC will be replaced free of cost.

                        But he was trying to sell me water softner for Rs.1800 that need to be fitted to the machine to avoid these kind of bearing issues in future. I said fine, once the machine is repaired and running , I will get the softner. He said next day the vechicle will come to pick up the macine to the workshop and got it repaired.But after 1 week nobody turned up. I am making daily calls to the service sataaison and the one standard reply I am getting is "sorry for inconvience".

                        I need to register a complaint int he consumer court and make the IFB industries to answer fo rmy problem.

                        IFB / Washing Machine — Washing machine creating sound and the tech not able to repair it.

                        There is a problem of sound in my washing machine. I am complaing from last 2 months to the customer care. The techenicain comes two my house and replaced the every part of machine but not able to find the problem. He siad he will replace the part after some time till the use it as it is.

                        Now I have complaint again on 13th July with complaint no 477629. Same person visited again and unable to find the problem. After this no one come to recitify the problem. I callled 1000 times to the customer care but instead of sending some one they are giving me numbers of her eand there,
                        Agin after 15-20 days when I called the same technicain he visited to my house with some one else called senior tec, and said he is unable to find the problem. THe machine is need to be replaced.
                        More than 3-4 days passed no one reverting me.

                        I would like to request here to you people toi replace my machine as soon as possible as i am not able to use it form last 2 months.

                        There is no proper response from such a big company IFB.

Or if not doing it please returned my money that I have paid for AMC IFB Washing machine.I feel sad of your amc service.
                        My experiance about service of IFB product is similar to others. their service provider in Chhattisgarh is always indifferent to their customers. At one time I had to wait over a month for a very small repair. I was so pressed by my household work load that I had to purchase another Washing Machine. Present position is that I have registered a complaint on 16 July 2011 and no body has attended to my complaint. Though every time I phone to their customer care number I get a reply that they are sorry that complaint has not been attended and that they are forwarding the complaint to their service center. Nothing however has been done.

                        IFB WASHING MACHINE — Unresolved Complaint

                        I had registered a complaint (#6936575) on[protected] and the service engineer arrived on[protected]. He opened the machine to find the fault and asses the total requirements. Hoses connecting to the water inlet has been disconnected and the clip missing. I fear these and other missing parts also will be charged.
                        Since that day the machine is open and no one is attending to the calls on the numbers provided by the representatives.
                        My plea is that if there is any development that is delaying the servicing, it should be intimated and the customer not left to run from pillar to post and find the numbers either unattended or switched off. I had contacted on the 24X7 call-centre number only to find that their database was not updated.
                        I had also initiated an AMC which I intend to terminate before it takes off as the attitude of the representatives is very unsatisfactory.
                        I have already paid for the defective parts amounting to INR[protected] for the drum & 100 for a rubber hose). Please help me to get the things in order and the machine made service worthy.

                        I have a IFB Microwave oven of IFB which was purchased by me in Augut 2007 and the company covered it first in extended warranty and then AMC which runs till August, 2012.

                        The said microwave oven stopped working on 22nd July and I lodged a complaint on 23rd July, 2011 vide complaint no 6804807.

                        The IFB now says this is a obselete model and can not be rectified, i now discovered from the compnaies call centre that a microwave manufatured in year 2000 was sold to me in 2007 and was also covered in AMC.

                        We have bought IFB ELENA fully automatic washing machine in Jind Haryana two years back , It did worked fine for few months now from past few months it wasnt spinning clothes , i registered a complaint for the same in rohtak as we got shifted there, the person attended the complaint & he changed some card of it & we have taken AMC from him now after that it continuously start giving problems in even washing clothes.                         IFB / Washing Machine — Poor Service And Not Responding

                        My Customer Id - 772753. First I complained on 15.02.2012 , complaint no was 828190, they came and repaired the door lock, and the next day the washing machine was not working. So i complained on 24.02.2012, complaint no. is 8341561, again they came repaired and broke the lock, now the lock got damaged. Now i called on 27.02.2012, 29.02.2012 & 01.03.2012. There was no response for the continous complain. worst service.

                        I have complaint about IFB washiing machine. The said machine is out of order since last 2 months. the complaint no. is 8186772 dtd 31 Jan 2012. When contected there service center the people talked very rude. No body solved our problem till date. I am regularly contacting IFB but never got any satisfactory answer.

                        i am also one of the tortured and harassed customer of IFB. I suggest all people on this earth that NEVER EVER BUY IFB product, otherwiswe you will make your life hell. Since last one moth I am after the IFB people to sort out my washing machine and every day i make around 5-6 calls but no response from their side just assurances which are never fulfilled. I fell that I have committed a nenious crime by buying IFB product so called reputed company.

                          Door lock was not working, We approached to Ahmedabad Customer care. They gave Vadodara Customer care phone number[protected]. Initially it was not approachable. We could contact after several attempts. Complaint registered-- complaint no.3074039. One Mr. Laxmikant turned up. He fixed up the new door lock. We paid Rs.750/ towards service charge and cost for lock. We operated machine only once. Very next day the lock is not working. we again contacted Vadodara customer care. Initially, they did not respond. We requested to replace the part and repair the machine at their cost. Later one lady spoke to us and informed that we have to again pay for repair. She did not allow us to speak to incharge of the centre.
                          My complaint is that if a part replaces by company' technician does not work even for 24 Hrs, why should I pay for it again? Kindly help to get the repair done free of cost with free replacement of part.

                          We faced similar problem like this to our IFB EXECUTIVE ELITE MACHINE recently. This was serviced by IFB Chennai Service team. They charged us Rs. 1150 for the component (Lock) and service fee Rs. 340. Total Rs. 1490/-

                          We wanted to retain the part which is defective component by the service engineer. He refused to give us because replaced defective part should go to their factory for their R&D ? !

                          I don't understand why should I pay to IFB to do R&D on my cost. I suspect the problem is not in the component, it may require some kind of refixing the same in the machine. Without trying simple the service engineer replace the component and charged for the new component.

                          Then he said If you can take AMC for this machine you don't need to pay service fee of Rs. 340/-.
                          Then I reacted to them that this machine was in AMC for the last three years. You never used to change defective parts by replacing new component. You always used to replace with old components which is used by the other costomer or recovered from the old machine or other customer... !

                          We don't required your AMC for anymore.

                          I think IFB in india is not trustworthy by all means or not dependable.

                              Regarding this subject I have registered a complain with you three days before but till now no response and there after I have contacted and submitted my complaint by phone, day before yesterday and yesterday.                                 I had bought an IFB washing Machine- Senortia Plus in May 2008. During the routine call of the service engineer within 3 months of purchase, they recommended to use DESCAL ( Probably to achieve their sales targets) a powder which they said should necessarily be used for removing scales. However after use of the product, the stainless steel drum got corroded. On complaint to IFB, I was directed to contact the authorised service manager who can never be contacted.

                                Having spent to a close to 25, 000/- for the machine and it accessories, I repent for buying IFB Washing machine.

                                Through this forum, I request to have a second thought before buying an IFB Washing Machine.

                                Yes I selected three IFB machines on the sametime.One in my home, IFB elena second one for my wife, IFB elena and the third one for mother-in-low, IFB senorita. I spend 6000 for IFB elena for repairing but now its not working .The serivce eng said the drum and switch is damaged so they need 5500 additional amount to make it working.Then total 10500 for reparing it.I really repend for buying IFB waching machine.
                                i think IFB is winding up.

                                no other way to explain so many complaints .


                                I have been escalating my complaint from one level to another, no avail as all phone nos are not responding, closed .

                                  We purchased a IFB washing machine, senorita 5kg capacity during Jan'09. So far, the washing machine was not used because it was not installed, even service man were not visited and no action taken. i could, nt able to find company's contact details. And machine lying idle in our home. Sorry to say that IFB is very very very very very worst and poor in customer service.

                                    My machine stopped working on Wednesday-8th July. After which I tried contacting the following nnumbers-[protected] /[protected]/[protected] which gave an automated response about dialling a particular no for the language after which the phone got disconnected. On saturday I tried the no early in the morning at about 7am and got thru and the first complaint got registered. At the time of registering the complaint- I was told that the someone would attend to the problem within 24 hrs.I specifically requested if they could send someone before 1PM but nobody came on the same day or even till tuesday. I had reminded on Monday also about the same to the service station but to no avail.
                                    I was given a no of one MR Santosh[protected] but that no was also not answering.
                                    On tuesday morning I again contacted the call centre where I was given the no of one Ms Deepali at ahmedabad but she had difficulty understanding the problem and was curt in her reply -had the least interest in hearing the complaint and inspite of my asking her what meant by 24 hrs she says that since the complaint of thursday was registered only on Saturday sso it will take time for the complaint to get forwarded to the respective service station and it will get attended to only on tuesday. - CAN ANYONE Take this explanation in a time of instant communication and mobile phones?????
                                    this is not the first time that such a thing has happened regarding service in the past 2yrs. The service experience was definitely better earlier although there was a problem regarding the phines which we could never get across for days. with the call centre that has been rectified to some extent but the service time is pathetic.
                                    The service department is absolutely pathetic.

                                      I have complained to IFB customer care on 5th of July 2009 with my ticket No. 3219272. The service engineer called me on 7th July. I have asked him to come after 4PM or before 8 AM as we both are working and leave the house early. But to my surprise no body turned up till date. Today surprisingly I have reveived a message on my mobile phone from Customer care that my problem is resolved. No service person has arrrived to my house and checked my IFB washing machine. When I again contacted customer care they have given another ticket no. today ie. 3250420.

                                      Kindly look into the matter and try to resolve my problem.

                                      Vide their Inv. No. 6245 dated 1.11.2010 bearing Sr. No. WTTIG5XB004056
                                      install on 16.11.2010. At delivery time water came our from machine, We inform to Kapila Electronics, he inform that if your face any problem in 1-2 months, I will get it replace. Machine is giving problem since 9th of Dec.2010 attenting person couldnot observe the problem and what is to be replace.

                                      We used machine only 5-6 times only. You are requeted to get it replace at the earliet to avoid the inconvience.

                                        Apart from this I have communicated number of times with their dealer regarding the dishwasher not functioning properly since installation.

                                        The utensils are not washed properly, soap stays on the vessels and the vessel are not dried completely.

                                        A technician sent by the customer service of the company has come on several occasions but has never solved the problem and has also not bothered to check whether the problem is solved.
