IFB Washing Machine : AMC Contract No. 6909 (26 Jun 08 to 25 Jun 09)

Sir,

I wish to bring to your notice that I had taken the above mentioned AMC fully paid for in advance on 26 Jun 2008.
On 14 May 09 at about 12 noon, I had registered my complaint no. 3026928, as my IFB washing machine was not working. I was assured that the machine would be attended to the same day after 1630 hrs. Noone has contacted me or attended the complaint.
I contacted the call center again on 15 May 09. They assured that they would expedite the case. The call center gave me the contact no. of Mr. Ravi, the franchisee at (Hebbal), - on contacting him he said he was not responsible for my area. Mr. Ravi gave me another contact no., this no. was a wrong no.
I again contact the call center, who gave me another contact no. of Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises. On contacting this franchisee, the first reaction of the lady on the phone was to state that I was to contact another francisee. On varifying the address of Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises, I found that it was less that ONE km. from my house.
I was certain that this was the very franchisee that had made the AMC and collected the AMC fees. On taking Mr. NOOR's name, from her organisation who had collected the cheque from me, then she agree to send a technician by 1700 hrs the same evening ( 15 May 09 ). At 1800 hrs, when I contacted Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises again, they told me that the technician has been given the work order and will be attending to my complaint.
The technician did not come on 15 May 09.
On 16 May 09, I contacted Vijay Lakshmi Enterprises, again. They told me that Mr. Sendil is the technician who has been detailed to attend to my complaint, his mob. no. [protected] was given to me. I contacted Mr. Sendil, he said he would come by 1 PM. After 1 PM his phone was switched off. At about 5PM I contacted him, he said he would be in my house by 6 PM. At 6 PM, when I contacted him he told me that he is travelling towards my house, - he never arrived and also switched off his phone thereafter and was able to contact him only on Monday 18 May 09 at 10.30 am. The said that he will be with me by 12 noon, however, another person Mr. Nawas was sent at 1PM.
The mortor was replaced with a reconditioned one which is not working. Today, 19 May 09 the franchisee assured me that they will send another motor, which has not happened until 12 noon, 19 May 09.
On all days, from 15 May to 19 May 09, I have contacted and reported the matter to the call center about this franchisee's behaviour, who have stated that the only help they can render, is by sending a reminder to the franchisee.
On 19 May 09, I contacted the call center, they inform me that my previous complaint has been successfully attended too, hence closed. A new complaint has been registered as no. 3043967.
From the above experience, it seems that a customer having taken an AMC is at the mercy of the franchisee, who are arrogant, irresponsible, unprofessional, lack adequate knowledge & training and have no clue about customer service or care.

I took an AMC for my Exe Elite IFB Washing machine and it is still under the maintenance contract. The door has been replaced and the person who attended my complaint said that the door is not covered under the maintenance contract and has charged me Rs. 740/- Please let me know if it is chargeable

    1. My wife Mrs Babita Hundal had logged a complaint on 11 May 09 regarding the ON/Off switch not working thus rendering the the machine non operational. The Complaint registration No is 3017070.
    2. No one has yet responded to attend the complaint despite having reminded the Customer Care over "5" times. Every time they tell us to contact Mr Sanjeev Kakar [protected] or Mr Govinderjeet Singh [protected] both of whom either do not pick upi there phones or keep it switched off. The icing on the cake is that the company's web site has the provision to lodge complaints but it is not operational. I must say how convenient for the after sales service staff.
    3. I hope this complaint does ring some wake up alarm somewhere and make the IFB officials wake up. I must mention here that The IFB is out to prove that they are a set up which is worse than the Government set up. We should start siting and comparing inefficiency to "IFB" hence forth.

      I purchased a microwave oven (30SC2) from the military canteen on payment of Rs.8408 vide invoice no.: DEL/NTS/4842/08-09, dated 21 jan, 09. I understand that a COOK BOOK/COOKERY BOOK is given free of cost along with the oven and every company provides it religiously. When it was not made available by the military canteen, i started contacting the customer care centre and also the following officials namely: SHRI BHARAT BHUSHAN, MR. SUBHASH, MR. RAJIV, Ms. MONICA and MR. NAVEEN and a few others whose names i do not remember. Each and everyone promised to provide the book within 2 to 3 days by courier. SHRI BHARAT BHUSHAN wanted me to pay Rs 500 for this book for which i was also ready. Subsequently, he expressed his helplessness conveying that the book was out of print and it will take 15 days time. Unfortunately, more than 3-4 months have passed but to no avail. I have been perpetually waiting for the cook book to be delivered on the basis of the empty promises of IFB staff. I have now no option but to approach the consumer court followed by ventilating my grievnces through the media if the book is not provided within 7 working days in the following address:

        I am having a very bad experience Elite Dx front loading Washing machine of IFB purchased on 14.10.2008.

        The machine started giving trouble and not working properly and a complaint was registered with IFB vide ref Nos.2905254 dated 8.4.2009, 2961857 dt 25.4.2009 and vide ref No 3022424 dt 13.5.2009 but still not fully attended and no response from IFB Service Centre if trying to contact local service technicians.



        We regret that IFB being a reputed company is not responding to its customers in time.

        Hope you will address this issue immediately and get the machine attended by technician immediately.

        IFB Elite Washing Machine — Not washing

        I am Mangalore, (INDIA) Complaint already informed through telephone no.[protected] and I got the complaint receipt No.2957739 a week ago. One mechanic came and told one spare part to be changed. After wards no one turned up. Poor service. No proper response. Worst maintenance. My washing machine is under warrantee. Only 8 months over.

IF PICKED UP NO PROPER RESPONSE . IF CONTACTED IN MOBILE EITHER THEY WILL NOT PICK UP OR AFTER ANSWERING ( TALKS BADLY ) AND SWITCH OFF THEIR MOBILE

        IFB Washing Machine, Elite DX — Complaint not being attended to

        It has been a wrong decision on my part to spend money on one of the most expensive washing machines in the market, being manufactured by a supposedly reputed company, IFB.
        I had bought a washing machine, Elite DX on the 31st of October, 2008, from a dealer in Hyderabad. Ever since the purchase, there have been constant problems in the running of the machine; I was putting in a complaint almost every 45 days! Even though the complaints were attended to, the problem was never resolved to my satisfaction. Due to the technician's negligence and typical replies of "there is nothing wrong with the machine", the machine has developed a problem in its drum assembly and makes a loud, internal knocking noise when running. I had put in a complaint for this with the IFB call center on the 26th of June. I was assured that the problem witll be attended to within 24 working hrs. Today is the 12th of July, more than 2 weeks since I registered the complaint and apart from an odd call from one Mr. Anupam in Hyderabad, nothing more has been done about the problem that I am facing. In the past 2 weeks I have made numerous follow up calls to the call center (the service center numbers and the IFB office numbers that were given to me are not replied to at all). Every time I have been given the false assurance that the complaint will be attended to, but nothing has been forthcoming. I am of the firm belief now that the only reason the complaint is not being attended to is because the product is under extended warranmty and the service center will not be able to fleece me of any money on any pretext. I am quite disappointed with the way things have taken shape and would be quite glad if something is done about my problem.

          Recently I purchased a stand & cover for my Washing machine IFB Elena from their franchisee directed by IFB customer care helpline. The service technician by name Mr.Venkat mobile No.[protected] delivered the stand & cover. While delivery I complained to him that both were of not the right size, since I was in an urgency to go out of station that day, I decided to take up the matter after returning back. Since then I have been contacting the service person, he kept promising me that he shall replace both & never turned up. Now he is not even picking my calls, by this I understood that he had cheated me, I complained to the customer care who have not yet pursued the case & also not providing the complaint no.

            Hi

            We launched the complaint for IFB Microwave Oven on 6/10/2008. After 2 days of complaint service engineer came and took the oven for service. From then on whenever we ask they are telling they will install the coming week. But many weeks have passed they have not come and fixed. They say they don't have board for that model 23SG1S. We bought the Oven by 2005 . If they don't have board why are they releasing this model oven. We are not getting poroper reply from service engineers. they give false commitment.

IN SEPTEMBER 2008 I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE AND ALSO WITH THE LOCAL IFB SERVICE CENTRE REGARDING MALFUNCTIONING OF THE OVEN. THE CALL WAS ATTENDED AFTER 0NE MONTH IN OCTOBER AND SOME MINOR REPAIR WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE OVEN AGAIN RESURFACED IN JANUARY 2009 AND SINCE THEN I HAVE LODGED ALMOST 10 COMPLAINTS TO YOUR LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AT RAIPUR AND ALSO TO YOUR CALL CENTRE AND THE COMPLAINT STILL REMAINS UNATTENDED. MY COMPLAINT REFERENCE IS 2136927 WHICH I GOT FROM YOUR CALL CENTRE 2 MONTHS BACK. I REGRET YOU ARE SHOWING TOTAL DISRESPECT TO A CUSTOMER CALL AND PROBABLY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT ATTENDING TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. TODAY AT 3.40 PM I CONTACTED YOUR CALL CENTRE AND TO MY UTTER DISMAY THE CALL WAS DELIBERATELY DISCONNECTED.               I bought IFB microwave oven model no. 23sc1 about 3 years back. It stopped working about 3 months
              back. When we complained, we were told they have stopped making PCB panels for this model. We have purchased it for Rs.12500 at that time. How can they stop making spares in such a short time? Kindly help me there as I am trying to get it sorted for last three years. Thank you.

                sir,
                i, A.Jeevarathnam Naidu, using IFB Dish washer since 4 years.Recently i.e in
                January'09, we have shifted to Vijayawada .for commissinig the equipment we
                called your technician.He has given connection and it was not working.He
                suggested that pressure no sufficient for intake or water, other wise every
                thing is alright.We have arranged new tap with pressure.Later some other
                technician came and informed that panel board is to be replaced.But the panel
                board is replaced after so many contacts including to Mr, Joney this was
                rectified.This brek down is simply due to technician fault only.
                Now we have given a complaint on 23 rd and the call log no is 2957523 that the mechin is stopping rince.for which you technician attended on 25 th.and told every thing is alright and no problem.The problem was not solved and it was standing
                in rinse only.Once again we log call on 27 th march.The call log no is 2969214.The compint is 'the same.After so many phone calls technecian came and told the door lock has to be replced.We arecalling again and again custmer care, They are giving some nos to call.we aretalking with all, but the problem not yet solved.On saturday we called Sri Ramakrihna, manager in hyderabad and he informed that the door lock has beendispatched.Till now no body attended.once again today we call on
                Sri Ramakrishna, he informed that it is not that part, some other part.With out attending how the local supervirsor sir mr Srinivasa Rao indented some other part.Once again informed that it will be attended by tomorrow or day after tomorrow.likewise so many times we have to call for single complint.Loal Supervisor Mr Srinivasa Rao will not respond for any call.For every call we have to call customer call.If the local man responds it will be easy to us to explain in
                and solve the problem.But he is not cooperetive and speeks recklessly.Please
                do the needful and solve our problem by posting some resposible person in
                vijayawada..Once again I request the IFB management to act on this complint.

                  I bought a elite washing machine from chengannur, Attinkara electronics about two years back.It was running with out any problem so far. Yesterday It is found that rubber washer in side the front loading lid was broken in variuous pices. after the washing of 2 kgs of clothers.

                  Even your technecian does not know How it is happened .It is ot wear and tear item .I strongly doubt that there is some manufacturing defects in this machine.Your technecian told us that it a fisrst case in this kind reported.To replace this parts cost usw around 2000rs. which is not all justifiable to a ordinary man.

                  Request to find out that there is any alignment mistakes in the mechanical functions of this machine and advise to make repair with out giving us more financial burden.

                  Your proffessional approach to this subject will be highly appreciated.

                    We purchased an IFB microwave 2 months back. The model number is IFB17PM1S. The door lock of the machine is not working since last week and needs to be replaced. We raised a ticket immediately. The ticket number is 2982915. We have come to know from the service manager that the lock is available; however, even after repeated calls, the lock is yet not replaced.

                    Both me and my husband leave for office at 12.30 pm. So it is not possible for us to wait for the service man throughout the day. Can we know, how long we have to wait for this service?

And its door has broken.I call the technician .But he said company not provides door lock now.becouse your model is too old.and its door lock not in stock in anywhere in Punjab.                       I've bought a IFB MW Oven model 20PG1S in October 2007. It was working fine till last month and i was quiet satisfied with it. Last month it started showing problem. It is sometime working and sometime not. I've lodged a complaint on 21/04/09. An engineer came and told that the magneton is "almost chocked" and i need to replace it, he took a service charge and gone. after that my oven was working ok. on 26th a "senior" person came with the spare part and told "unofficially" that the part is not at all faulty as we neeed not change it. He asked me if I want to change it !!?? After that a week has passed and my oven started showing problem again. I again called the Call Center and they told me that the previous ticket was closed. I've opened a new ticket and waiting for their response.

                      MY FOLLOWING COMPLAINT HAS REMAINED UNATTENDED SINCE LAST 4 MONTHS. THE IFB MICROWAVE MODEL 20SC1 IS NOT WORKING AND THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD MADE THE FOLLOWING COMPLAINT ON 7.5.2009 AFTER MY EARLIER CALLS REMAIN UNATTENDED. I NEED YOUR QUICK INTERVENTION.
                      IFB MICROWAVE OVEN MODEL-20SC1 WAS PURCHASED BY ME IN SEPTEMBER 2007 FROM BHOPAL. SUBSEQUENTLY I GOT TRANSFERED TO RAIPUR IN MAY 2008. IN SEPTEMBER 2008 I LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH YOUR CALL CENTRE AND ALSO WITH THE LOCAL IFB SERVICE CENTRE REGARDING MALFUNCTIONING OF THE OVEN. THE CALL WAS ATTENDED AFTER 0NE MONTH IN OCTOBER AND SOME MINOR REPAIR WAS MADE. THE PROBLEM WITH THE OVEN AGAIN RESURFACED IN JANUARY 2009 AND SINCE THEN I HAVE LODGED ALMOST 10 COMPLAINTS TO YOUR LOCAL SERVICE CENTRE AT RAIPUR AND ALSO TO YOUR CALL CENTRE AND THE COMPLAINT STILL REMAINS UNATTENDED. MY COMPLAINT REFERENCE IS 2136927 WHICH I GOT FROM YOUR CALL CENTRE 2 MONTHS BACK. I REGRET YOU ARE SHOWING TOTAL DISRESPECT TO A CUSTOMER CALL AND PROBABLY ARE LEAST CONCERNED ABOUT ATTENDING TO CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS. TODAY AT 3.40 PM I CONTACTED YOUR CALL CENTRE AND TO MY UTTER DISMAY THE CALL WAS DELIBERATELY DISCONNECTED. PRIOR TO THAT THE SERVICE ENGINEER CLEARLY INDICATED THAT HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO ATTEND TO THE COMPLAINT. THIS IS REALLY A SORRY STATE OF AFFAIRS AT IFB.                         SUB: Recent development based on my earlier complaint dated 20/4/2009

                        Dear Sir,

                        Thank you for your kind and prompt intervention based on my previous complaint. At least, Mr. Mitesh Jain and Mr. Iggy Gonjalvis from Mumbai branch inspected the machine and heard us patiently. But, I am very sorry to say that instead of giving the replacement or refunding the money, they are also trying to divert the problem to some other direction like other service personnel did before. Most frustrating part is that they say, “Your machine is absolutely alright!” Then, why was mother board changed? Why was back side of the machine-body broken by service personnel if there was no problem? Why does your department want to change the back cover now? This incidence itself proves many things. Why was shock absorbers changed? Please note that we were against of changing shock absorber, we wanted replacement then only and which was mentioned clearly in my earlier complaint. Mr. Sagar Rai, who changed the shock absorber, informed us that irrespective of changing or not changing shock-absorber claim of replacement can be made as the machine is under warranty. Moreover, according to him it was better to change as procedure for replacement would take some time and we could operate the machine by that time. I don’t know whether he wanted to misguide us or was a genuine well wisher! After changing the shock absorber, knocking-like sound with less intensity still persists. But, your representatives, Mr. Mitesh and Mr. Gonjalvis term it as normal, whereas we hear distinct knocking-like sound which was not in the beginning. I do not understand how smartly, coolly, consistently and shamelessly your service personnel are telling lie without hesitation and giving false report!

                        As you understand the machine supplied was defective, within eight months of purchase many important parts (mother board and shock absorber, etc.) are changed and we have lost confidence on the machine as well as service personnel, I earnestly request you to make arrangement for replacement of the machine or refunding money and take back LIMO and refund our money.

                        The funniest part is that whenever I talk about refunding money spent for LIMO sold by Mr. Chandan by telling lie (please refer to my earlier complaint for detail), they promise to settle the matter as early as possible. After that I just do not get any response! If I make further enquiry, I receive the same reply. It goes on! It appears to me that they are not at all bothered for company’s reputation, quality assurance of the product, and customer’s complaint, inconvenience and satisfaction. They are just interested in testing customer’s patience and killing their time to linger the problem. Even, they are not ready to answer my question, “Why will not be replacement or refund given in this case of genuine problem?”
                        All email communication made with Mr. Mitesh are enclosed herewith for your kind information. I earnestly request you to go through those to understand the situation as well as to understand who tells lie and who does not. You will also find in the communication that they want to extend the warranty period by three months. I don’t understand why they want to extend the warranty period if there is no problem with the machine!

                        It is not only a question of money I had spent on a faulty machine but also a matter of harassment we have been facing from service personnel. So, I request you to reply or instruct branch office of Mumbai to reply me in writing citing reason “Why will not be replacement or refund given?” If I do not receive any reply on or before 15th May 2009, I will understand you are ignoring my complaint and demand and at that case I will take the case to consumer court.

                        Thanks again for your kind intervention and taking positive interest to resolve the matter. But, unfortunately we are not getting much response from Mumbai branch.

                        i also brought ifb elena delux from ethos electronics chembur four month back, inbuilt heater grounded since last three month i call custmor care four time they sent person but everybody assured that we will change the heater but all four didnt came back to change the heater, this is very poor service for customer .
                        IFB simply does not care. The worst machine to buy in the market. Sales people will sell you the product as they make more commission and give you all sorts pf promises but the machine does not live up to its hype.

                        Dear Sirs,

                        I own one senorita Dx bought about one month back and one Executive elite bought 4 yrs back. The executive elite had all the defects I can tell and the service personnel came to my door promptly but their action to the complaint was not very prompt and they never wanted to hear us they say they know better and wanted to drag the same till the warranty was over.

                        I reside at chennai and my area was covered by one of their franchisee and in january this year they appointed another franchaisee who has been given the area where I stay. Unfortunately my warranty also ended in January and on my repeated complaints no one attended and after a lot of struggle I could manage to get the service personnel for the AMC in the month of March and was surprised to know what they show on the web site is not true and the warranty for plastic parts is not covered in Tamil Nadu. I think for a national company they have differrent policy for differrent states and this is no where mentioned in the web site. I was forced to go for an AMC which is with out rubber poarts and since then I have been asking their service department to direct me to their service manager or national incharge, to my regret I have no reply.

                        I happened to see this complaint which is also was handled very irresponsibly, hence I thought I could post my comments and hope the IFB management would do some thing to sort out my problem too.

                        As regards the Senorita Dx i too feel there is so problem in the design becoz the shock absorbers are making some type of hissing sound while washing which I never heard in my Executive Elite machine but yet to make any complaint.

                        I think the IFB needs to take things serious as the competetors are more aggressive and once the front loading machines were IFB's monopoly but not today.

                        I hope earnestly there will be some action to my plea.

                          SUB: Request for replacement of defective washing machine

                          Dear Sir,

                          It is regarding horrible situation we have been facing since purchase of IFB washing machine (Senorita DX) from Vijay Sales, Mumbai, Chembur branch, on 8th July 2008, paying Rs. 17, 990.00 (Sales Invoice no. 25-CH07-08SIAO 227, Dated 10/07/2008, Order No. 25-CH07-08SO248) under exchange of old washing machine. After reading the following, I hope you will understand the situation and express similar opinion.

                          1. Within a month of installation, the machine started vibrating like anything. After our complaint to IFB service center, service engineer attended found that one of the legs of the machine was missing and in place there was a rubber pad. We surprised how it was possible and why we were not informed! As you understand, we didn’t receive any suitable answer from service personnel.
                          2. Then within next one more month, the machine became fully dead. The service personnel detected the problem as main mother board had gone completely bad and the same was replaced. We wanted replacement but the service engineer was not ready for that. Instead, he gave verbal assurance that if any problem occurs in future the machine will be replaced. Now running after service personnel for so many months, we have understood that what mistake we did not sticking to our stand of replacement and listening to “sweet voices” of service personnel. Their simple and clear-cut policy is that somehow linger the problem and let the warranty period be over!
                          3. After that the machine has been giving continuous problem of vibration and making very nosy and knocking-like sound. We regularly complain about that and some service man attends the problem and does this and that. For one week or so, machine vibrates less, sound becomes less, but gradually the machine goes back to its original mode of vibration and making sound. This cycle is going on – we complain, service engineer attends, problem subsides for the time being, problem recurs within very short period of time, and again we complain. Please refer to your complaint-log book to find out the fact and see that the nature of complaint is always same.
                          4. In recent days the problem is very acute. It appears that while spinning, the drum is hitting the body and making very random intolerable huge sound. We are really very much disappointed and frustrated observing the attitude of service personnel.
                          5. First (6/3/2009), one person came and reported there was no problem in the machine. If we buy four rubber caps for the legs from them, the problem will be solved. We bought (Invoice no. 11833) but the problem remained same.
                          6. Second (31/3/09), another person came and replied the same as the first person replied. This time he wanted us to buy LIMO powder for Rs. 1500.00 as it would surely solve the problem of the machine. We bought (Invoice no. 12031) that too paying Rs. 1500.00 but the problem was not solved.
                          7. Third (13/4/2009), another person came and broke the back side of the body to rectify the problem. Please note that, I repeat again that the third person broke the back side of the body. Still, the problem remained same.
                          8. Fourth 16/4/2009), another person who introduced himself as Mr. Sagar Rai came and that too he came after our continuous effort of two-days-follow-up. He was also not able to solve the problem but replaced the shock absorbers on 17/4/2009. Vibration now has become little less but knocking-sound with lesser intensity still persists.
                          9. As we asked for replacement of the machine, Mr. Sagar replied that he would report it to the office and Mr. Manjunath, who only can take decision, would contact me. Mr. Manjunath has not contacted me so far. In fact, I have been trying to contact him on phone numbers:[protected],[protected],[protected], [protected]. But, I always get the same reply from receptionist of his office (Authorized Franchise of IFB, Above Tarun Automobile, Opp. Glass Factory, Pestom Sagar Road No. 4, Chembur – 400089) that “Mr. Manjunath is busy in meeting. Please call after 15 minutes.”

                          Hope, you have now understood that it has become our monthly routine to complain about the machine and run after service personnel! Please tell us how long we need to run after them! After purchasing the machine, we have at least lodged complaint 10 to 12 times and the nature of compliant is same. Please, refer to your complaint-log book to verify and clarify it.

                          Looking into above-mentioned facts, will it be irrational if we say that we have got a defective product! But, the most unfortunate thing is that we did not realize it when the mother board of the machine had to be replaced within two months of purchase. We just believed “sweet voices” of your service personnel and now have been facing the consequences - from mother board to shock absorbers have already been changed, on top of that back side of the body is broken. So, one can easily guess what is the fate of the machine and value of paying Rs. 17, 990.00 under exchange offer. We sincerely put our following demands before you:

                          1. Replacement of the machine as early as possible
                          2. Take back LIMO’s packets sold by service engineer telling lie and return our money.

                          I understand if you do not pay attention, I have nothing in my hand to do with you but I will be left with the option of knocking at the door of consumer court. I am sure nothing such will happen as till now I have not approached the right person like you who really cares for the customers, customer’s satisfaction and reputation of the company.

                          Hope to receive an early reply with clear directive how to get the replacement of the machine.

                          Re: Defect in the washing machine.

                          Dear Dr. Dasgupta,

                          It is now more than 1 week since your incompetent authorized service care center took our machine ( ticket # 3236858) from my house to check what is wrong.
                          This is probably the umpteenth time your service agent has come to rectify the problems we continue to have with your defective machine. Over the past 3 years we have had this machine checked for defects, problems at least a dozen times.

                          Just 2 weeks ago SK Associates charged us Rs 2000 for changing a part and not even 2 days later the machine developed problems.
                          Firstly none of the service staff come on time and if they do it is only after repeated calls made to them. The supervisor, Steven does not even pick up his cell phone.
                          What sort of service is this? How can you retains such service agents? This is not we as consumers expect after paying over 25000Rs!!!

                          The machine was supposed to be delivered on 15th JUL and not a single person has called to find out why it has not been delivered. I tried calling Steven at [protected] at least 10times yesterday and sent him an sms.
                          Not even an acknowledgement as yet. This is the kind of poor service your company provides.

                          I suggest you get rid of incompetent service agents and get more customer friendly engineers to handle your after sales service.
                          I have dissuaded several of my friends from buying your machine and told them to buy another brand and this one stinks! The machine does not live up to its standards and your customer care agents’ service is terrible!
                          I am posting this complaint on the internet so future buyers can be aware of the problems and issues that they will face on a day to day basis.

                          I hope that someone will at least read this email. Since i do not have your personal ID i doubt your loyal employees will even bring this to your notice. Hopefully someone will see it on the internet!

                          I agree. Service of IFB is precarious. A close relative of mine have had a harrowing experience. They charged Rs.9000/- to replace a part of a washing machine but within 2 months the machine started giving problems again but despite repeated calls, the service guys cared less.
                          I agree completely towards the callous attitude of IFB towards servicing their product !!! They just don't bother ... I hope its high time this is noted and taken care of...

                          IFB / WASHING MACHINE Senorita DX — Defective Machine delivered

                          I booked IFB washing machine on date 03 Nov 2010 by IFB executive & it got delivered on that day by some dealer. I paid full payment on the same day.IFB technician came on 09 Nov 2010 for the demo of the machine but he found it is defective & told me that it will get replaced.From that day onwards IFB experience is hillarious. Their executive name Dipika [protected] called me on 11 convincing me that machine will be delivered soon but it never got delivered yet.Later own she even not taking my calls.I called IFB customer care on 14 nov 2010 at [protected] & he put my complaint promising me solution by 15th but no action taken. On 15th nov 2010 i called again on that number.I selected english option & the ecexutive started in HINDI. He talked rudely that this is not their task & gave me another number of Mr Pradeep [protected] (same guy i booked machine). Now i called Pradeep finally & from last 4 days i am listening faulty promises of Machine replacement with no action.He promised me delivery on 18th but still i have not got the machine.Now when i called today on 19th nov 2010 he telling me that it was in stock yesterday but got delivered to somebody else.I don't know what to do now to get the machine.I have registered a complaint on IFB site also but no feedback yet.
                          We are having a hell time with IFB service in chennai. The franchisee nor IFB Chennai cares less to attend to the issues..
                          I own a IFB Senorita Plus washing machine which is under AMC. I completely agree on pathetic service of IFB & the skill set of technicians are very poor. I am struggling to get it repaired since long time with their authorised service provider. They build story every time they visit. Technician does not even know specification of main motor, who tried to connect it domestic UPS in my absence!!!. such a poor training given by the IFB. Incompetent IFB service manager (who is on IFB roll), does not have control over their service dealer, nor replies to customer call or emails. I suspect huge scam avoiding part replacement and make money by the service dealer with my observations. They do not have service objectives in place, no time line, no skill-set, doesn't know basic trouble shooting & they follow completely short cut method. I have faced short circuit at home due to their poor connectivity of cables inside. We were lucky, no one was hurt at home.                             I have a Washing Machine of IFB- Elena model, which i got serviced before 4 months. Now the outlet pipe is not working properly. Hence i called up your Customer care centre ([protected]). He said within 24 hours a peson will attend the problem and also confirmed total charges of Rs289 for the same. Please note that this person did not give me any refernce number. For complete three days no one revert back, so again i called up your CC and a lady gave me your Jaipur centres' number[protected], 5129977). I connected these number several times, one was contanly no reply and second picked up by someone where i could hear the papers' noice every time. Again i called up on 1st May 09 to your CC centre, some Pooja attaneded the call, asked for complain number since i did not getthe same earlier she disconnected my phone. Second time i made call to CC some Nadeem attaneded the call and promised me to solve my problem by communicating the same matter to yout Jaipur office. He promised me to address the problem by that day itself and will confirm my complin number before 2.00 pm on 1st May. As irresponsible team members he did not call me, than called hime again in the evening where he again committed me to solve the problem by send a person on Saturday (2nd May). Howver till date no one has visited and addressed a very small problem.

                            Hence this is the kind of service you offer to your old and valuable Customers. I am really very disappointed.                                 Dear Sir,

                                Dealers are unable to demonstrate Washing. Hence customer don’t know how the product works, specially in case of washing machines. The machine will be delivered to you at your house with full packing. The company executive will come at your house after three day and will unpack it and then do the fitting. After that only the machine will get started. Customer will not have any clue up till than of how the washing machine works.

                                I have purchased IFB washing machine model Executive plus on 14/02/09. The company executive have came and done the fitting. From the day one when I have stared using the machine, the machine vibrates a lot and make a lot of noise. It sounds like flour mill rather than like washing machine. I have registered complain for it # 2778498 dated 27/02/09.
                                The company executive came and changed the motor but the problem is as it is. Also he recommended sending the machine to IFB work shop. The machine was taken to IFB workshop and some replacements were made. Even then the problem remains the same.
                                The machine still makes a lot of noise. And the sales head – Mr Rakesh and technical head – Mr Nitin Kate of IFB, Pune misbehaved with me and told me the machine is fine and nothing can be done further.
                                The machine is still making a lot of noise and vibrating a lot. Even some additional noise is also started coming from it after the machine is back from work shop.
                                I request IFB to take this defective machine back and give my money back or give the new good working machine in replacement of it. Off course I want a reliable model in replacement of it.

                                But they denied. Can somebody help me.

                                  we regret to inform you that we (larsen and toubro ltd) purchased 2 washing machine and 2 dryer placed at sanchore in jalore dist rajastan.
                                  these machines are not working for the past 3 months inspite of repeated complaints no one is attending this.
                                  nor service engineer nor service center.
                                  now we feel that we made a great mistake by purchasing IFB product because of your poor after sales service.

                                  IFB Dryer — not attending complaints for repairs

                                  I have been calling the local IFB office as my drier is not working but they keep on delaying saying they have other calls and come tomorrow.The next day also they say the same thing. I talked to one Mr.Akshay G ([protected]) I think he isthe most rude, sick, arrogant, insensitive and an unprofessional person in sales.IFB should take a note of this.Keeping such people in office is harming companys name and status.He plainly told me today that the technician will not come today do what ever you want to do and complain if you want. Even road side shop keepers are not that arrogant .I was shocked to hear this from IFB office.

                                    i had purchased a ifb digital washing machine on 01.10.2007 with a 24 month warranty from white planet, m.g.road, ernakulam Kerala. Earlier on two occasions i had problem with the machine and was reported subsequent to which the thermostat was replaced. subsequently on the advice of the service engineer a cad[stabilizer] was bought vide freeze india engineers bill no.3818 dated 25.08.208.

                                    Even now the same problem persists. This has become a inconvenience to the smooth functioning. Requesting you to kindly solve the problem permanently.

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      I am using two IFB washing machines and one IFB Dryer since more than fifteen years. Over the period of time that me and my brother have purchased the machines and changed them four years back, we are always under AMC with the company.
                                      This year when our AMC was due in March 2009, we were astonished that the AMC charges had been revised from Rs. 1396/- to Rs. 1978/- i.e. a 50% increase. This fact was brought to the notice of Mr. Murugan of M/s. Classic Enterprises Perambur who couldn't explain any reason. Since no information was given from your company, we had no option but to renew the contract under duress.
                                      Unfortunately, a sound developed in the machine on 15th April 2009 and we called on the customer care number on the 16th April and complained under complaint no. 2932617. On the 17th of April promptly the service executive came, checked and informed us that he would be here on the 18th of April to change one part which will rectify the machine.
                                      Until 20th of April there was no sign of the serviceman and we had to again make a complaint. We were promised that he will definitely come on the 21st and the reason for delay was that "we have a lot of complaints to attend to and the part that has to be replaced is not in stock!!" Stunning!!!
                                      Anyway, on the 21st of April two people by the names of Marimuthu and Mariah came and changed the part. Both the boys insisted that we have to descale the unit and refused to leave until they had not carried out the job. One of the boys Mariah (with a woman's name) was so discourteous that even after telling him not to speak so, he challenged to complain to the Company!!! His words were "Do whatever you want, I am not bothered." On asking him to give a copy of the challan which will provide us proof of the date of his visit and change of part he refused to give any sheet although he made us sign three sheets!
                                      Were we getting the work done free? Was the machine not in AMC? Why is descaling required when our water is soft? How often does it have to be done? What is the cost of one time descaling? And many many more queries which your men refused to talk and explain but demanded that we carry out our job or else the machine will fail!! How confident about the FAILURE!!!
                                      The whole episode was so disgusting and frustrating that given an opportunity, I would have thrown the IFB machine from the terrace and refuse to deal with any product of IFB.
                                      Is there no method of dealing with such unmannered and abusive people at a higher managerial level so that this event does not take place again? We would be more interested in speaking to decent people and interact with refined men than a pair of hooligans. Awaiting a prompt reply soon.

                                      Hi,
                                      I purchased IFB Washing maching (Senorita 5.5Kg) on Feb 2009, after 6 month there was an free service, IFB tech came and inspected the Washing machine and said to de-scale, he said de-scale will remove all the dust and improve the maching performance, hence i agreed.
                                      After adding the de-scaling powder (2packets) maching was on for 60 degree C.
                                      After 60 min i opened the door and saw my washing maching drum color was black, i immediatly called the tech guy and complaint, he says after de-scaling the color will change.
                                      Can anyone help me on this.
                                      I have paid 300.00 Rs for de-scale powder.

                                      yesterday i.e on 15.10.12, a man called from IFB b'lore and said he will be in my place to check the performance of the IFB washing m/c.I told him that there is no problem with the m/c and where is
                                      the need for any such routine check up.
                                      But he insisted and I yielded.
                                      the man came and asked me when was the last time the m/c de scaled and he was not happy with
                                      my answer and then suggested that m/c has to be de scaled otherwise it's performance will be at stake.
                                      as soon as i gave the green signal, he cut opened two packets of IFB descale powder and poured one in the soap chamber and the other one directly into the drum.
                                      He collected Rs 300/- for two packets and gave a receipt also.
                                      He asked me to call him only after 2 months and he will make his appearance every 2 months henceforth for conducting operation de scale.
                                      my doubt is 1. whether the m/c needs descaling every 2 months once irrespective of your use.
                                      2.why the service provider personnel show personal interest in doing anything connected with spares, descaling sort of activities.
                                      I also feel Rs 300 for 2 small pockets of descaling powder is exorbitant.
                                      is there any solution for this?
                                      can one get citric acid based, m/c compatible powder in the outside market without depending on the authorised service provider who charges the customers more.

                                        We have IFB washing Machine of Elena make. The machine startted giving vibration problem in the month of December 2008. We have informed to IFB people and a technician ( so called) from their Delight Service Centre Vashi, Navi Mumbai has inspected the machine and informed us to replace the TUB immdiately which we have done based on his suggestion by paying Rs. 2500/- immediatly. Also we were asked to sign for 2 year AMC which we have done it by paying another Rs. 2850/- . But the vibration problem has agravated after replacing the TUB. Then they started giving us silly reasons like improper use of surf powder, washer not ok stand not ok and etc.

                                        Whenever we put the machine on It makes so much sound that even a 5Kwatt Generator set woul not give that much noise. It dances all over in my living room. Peoples satying in the nearby flats come to wach the scene. I have made an vidio recording of the machine movements and are planning to send it to some of the TV channels so that by seeing this on the TV other people will not make a mistake of purchasing any IFB products in future. At present we have given the machine full rest by washing our clothes by hand daily.

                                        In the last twomoths we have registered about 5 complaints. Whenever we register a cmplaint some useless fellow turns up for checking the machine and trying to convince us by giving aforesaid bullsit reasons.OUr patienece has been tested by IFB people We are fed up with them. Have left with no option but to initiate a case against them legally.

                                        We have requested the Delight people to refund the money which has been paid towards AMC as well as TUB. Total Rs. 5350/- has been paid up front. You are therefore requested to look into the matter and help us out in geeting the problem solved.

                                        We had purchased two machines (7 kg capacity, m/c no 3463819) on 17/07/2009 purchase from Rahul Electronics, Goregaon. From 07/09/2009 we are facing problem of savior vibration while spinning operation. We had launch compliant in costumer care center, also we had lunch the complaint & the compliant no is 39004321on the same day. We are in continuous contact with Mr.Zyan (perfect cool service) & Mr. Suresh Pujari. Mr. Pujari keeps on promising us about sending service engineer but of no use. This is very shameful for such a big name of IFB of not attending problems of costumer.

                                        Kindly look in to the matter on ASAP
