I need spares like filter, wash bag, machine cover etc.,

when contacted to your person first thing they dodge here and there by giving to contact other No.

when person is there they say i need to buy complete set of pipe,

whereas filters are a separate unit.

I am not able to understand wheather you people want to do business/customer satisfication or want to make money at early. By doing like this.

This is the first mail to IFB complaints next definately it will be to Media stating IFB is doing like this.

We made a complaint on 18.02.2009 and the complaint register number is 2738947.A representative (Name:Mr.Selvam)attended the complaint on 19.03.2009 & 25.03.2009 for the same defect and replaced three way magnetic valve of China make. He had attended the fault during power failure and assured that the defect was rectified and it will be OK. Later we came to know that the defect was not rectified properly and the machine is showing the same problem.

    ifb washing machine digital 6 — washing machine not working

    i have an IFB washing machine .machine is not working since last 6mths I have called customer care of IFB 100 times they always say within this week their engineer will come .NO ONE HAS COME SINCE LAST 6 MTHS THEY ARE NOT EVEN SAYING THE REASON WHY CANT ANYONE COME EVERYTIME WE CALL THEY SAY ENGINEER WILL COME WITHIN A WEEK

      sir,
      i had purchased ifb washing machine through bajaj finance on 19.12.2008 with down payment with T.Narendra Babu(executive in bajaj electronics, lakidikapool, hyderabad)& his cell no;[protected].i was committed a EMI date on 5th every month and first EMI comes on 05.02.2009(same written in application and i have written proof).In spite of this, ECS applied on 15.01.2009.At this time, no funds in my account and it was bounced.ICICI made penalty of Rs.281/-and it was repeated in the same month.so i was loose 562/-and your recovery agent asking EMI+600/- fine.How can i bare this much of harassment?i have all written proofs and thinking to go legally.At this stage, you may solve my problems i.e, 1.Rs.562/-(fine in bank) 2.i don't want to pay jan-2009 EMI 3.i con't able to pay EMI on 5th every month 4.i need not to pay fine on EMI.

      i was given the above complaint but two mistakes in that 1.product is IFB washing machine 2.In problem (2), the date was 15th.Hence kindly accept it.

      IFB Senorita Washing Machine — Worst service in world history

      In span of 1.5 years of my purchease of OFB washing machine , it started malfunctioning ater 6 months, IFB can be desribed as Idot Fraud Bogus company with no customer focus, non responsive , my urge to all the people
      NEVER EVER BUY ANY LG PRODUCT.

      Shameless people with no respecst & committment towards customers.

        We had the misfortune of buying your washing machine on 10 March 2008 at Viveks – Vadapalani, Chennai and it was the beginning of the nightmare called IFB.

        Two months after buying the Washing machine the calls to the customer service began and 10 months later it still continues quite regularly to plead the service guys to perform a miracle.

        If the calls to the Customer Service centre are tracked, the complaints lodged in the last 11 months are more than 10.

        My recent call to the service centre was on 20 February 2009 and the machine is yet to be rectified.

        Despite more than a dozen calls in the last month speaking to your various CSO's(Mr.Rakesh, Ms.Karpakam and the rest which includes Ms.Vidya who is supposedly the Head of Customer Service), at the toll free it still stands unresolved.
        When I spoke to Ms.Vidya on 14 March 2009, she was KIND enough to assure a call back in 30 mins for which 3 days later am still waiting.The service personnel are coming up with new reasons like drain pipe change n installation of stabilizer after which its still not working.Now supposedly the switch board has to be changed of which they have no stock.

        Today I called the call centre again and Mr.Rakesh says all are in a meeting and will call back in half an hour.

        Within a span of one year when the product is still on warranty, if there have been more than 10 problems identified in the product, even to layman its quite obvious that we have been dumped with a defective product for a hefty price.

        Dealers refuse to answer the calls and service personnel promise calls which never come, what is the customer expected to do?

        Change the product or refund the amount we have paid for the product.

          I made a complaint for repair of my Microwave Oven, Model 23SG1S of IFB Limited at Chandigarh.[protected]. I was informed that PCB is out of order and needs to be replaced. A sum of Rs. 1800 for PCB replacement and Rs. 165 as repair services has been charged from me. I wish to know whether the charges are genuine. I have not been able to find the Price List of IFB spare parts / accessories.

          I have a 30 Ltrs IFB Microwave. The turntable broke. I have been charged Rs 1460/- by the company. The cost of the microwave was Rs 7500/- approx. How can a glass breakable part be so costly? Probably they are making profits by selling spares at exorbitant prices. STAY AWAY FROM IFB
          Stay away from IFB unless you want to pay more for service/spare parts than the cost of the new item. Spares are priced through the sky!
          I had a similar incident, I asked for a heating element for my IFB SC2 microwave at IFB Thrissure and Ernakulam service centres, as it got damaged while transporting done by Transport Corporation of India Limited, but they refused to give me the parts saying that it is not their company policy to sell parts and they will only come and fix it so that they can make service charges. I think in a democracy like India, this type of business practice should not be permitted. They have not told me anytime that the parts will not be sold.

          A service centre charged me Rs.325 for the cabinet bulb of an IFB 2304C microvave oven and it fused on the same day. I replaced it with a Philips pygmy bulb - MRP Rs.19.75!
          My ifb microwave model 20pg3s touch panel is not working, when raised a compliant the service technician came and charhed me Rs 3800. Where the new microwave cost is 6500. This is so ridiculous.

          Can anyone help??
          I have raised complaint regarding oven touch pad . Technician came and without checking anything concluded that pcb gone bad as it is electrical appliance. Cost of pcb and touchpad will be total approx 4000+. When i argued that product cost was 10k initially and currently it is 8k, why should I pay 4000 for this. Technician routed call to their colleague and that person told me that he will come tomorrow.
          I have 2 products of ifb and whenever technician came, always busy to tell us how he can loot us.for washing machine moment i told him i will buy stand and cover from market. He was like we did some crime.

            Below is a copy of the email sent by my friend and POA holder Mr. Nandu (91 [protected]) from Mumbai.

            In brief:

            I had purchased IFB products from the exhibition in May 2007 for my two apartments in Mumbai.

            Prashant Apts (currently rented out ) - washing mashine/ dryer/ dishwasher/ microwave

            Nibbana Annexe - washing mashine/ dryer/dishwasher/ microwave . These appliances were delivered but never installed / checked or demonstrations given as no one resides in these premises then or currently.

            In February 2009 I was personally in Mumbai and requested your service centre to come and do the installations and demonstrations.

            Your technician Mr. Nizam ([protected]) and Mr. Mohamed checked and installed all except the microwave which was not working / could not be repaired. Please bear in mind that all appliances were untouched previously from the date of delivery till your technician visit . On the delivery challan please note installation of the washing mashine/ dryer/ dishwasher is recorded as 26th February 2009.

            I subsequenly spoke with Mr. Michael and Mr Gautam[protected] who suggested that a senior technician would come and check the microwave. This gentlemen came and verified that the microwave was a defective piece and would need replacement ( as it was brand new ) I spoke with Mr. Gautam in conjuction with your senior technician and was assured that the microwave would be replaced asap .This surprisingly has not been done to date.

            I am quite amazed that a company of your standing does not back the products it supplies. A defective product is delivered to the consumer, your technicians report that the product is brand new defective, you confirm replacement and then go back on your commitment . What a state of affairs !! and to add insult to injury your company personnel have the audacity to respond rudely !!

            Now whom do we seek to redress this unfortunate state of affairs ?

              Dear Concerned,

              Reference to the Complaint No 2799795 dated 7th March'2009, I want to bring to ur notice the pathetic service being provided by your company.Many complaints have been logged from last 42 days at your customer care but till date no proper resolution has been provided.

              Pls get the same resolved in next 24 hours or I will be forced to go to Consumer court. I have contact numbers of Mr Hemant Arora who is so busy that he cannot attend any of the calls. Today I have spoken to ur Executive who has given contact no of Mr Gurinderjit Singh saying that he will finally get the problem resolved (The thermostat in the machine is not working- same was working when the complaint was logged for the first time but after ur engineers visit it is not working). This machine is under AMC and so the company is least bothered as they have already taken the amount in advance.

              For ur information I have kept record of all the complaints and it will be difficult for the company to pay the damages.

              Hope the things will be resolved on priority basis which is expected from a good company.

              IFB WASHING MACHINE — complaint resolved

              I had registered a complaint with the IFB BPO, complaint no. being 3317845. This complaint was made subsequent to an earlier complaint that I made which was attended to by Mr. Bharathi of Star Engineering, Coimbatore, which is your authorised service agency . However, the day after Mr. Bharathi attended to the problem, when I ran the W/mc, i found that the problem has not been rectified. So I called up Mr. Bharathi, and he asked me register a complaint again, the no. of which is given above. I have called up Mr. Bharathi and given him the complaint no. but he says there are no spare parts and he has ordered for them and will be avialbale in 3 days. Now nearly 15 days are over after registering this compalint. I find IFB very poor in customer service. If the service agency does not respond properly, u can compalin the company, but if the company itself is at fault whom do u complain to? why does'nt the company provide its service agencies spare parts? This problem that I have with my W/mc is nearly a month old. These people come and do some stop gap arrangement and make it work; it will work for 2 or 3 days and then again conks off. Pl. look into the matter and do the needful.

On 21/08/09 (friday) one of your technicial call for general service i told to come @6.30PM, he came, i told my machines problem he didnt touch the machine, he told he will bring another technician with him and he went away.                 Hi,
                Ob 5th-Feb-2009 while placing order for IFB Washing Machine (Senetor-DX) on IFB Website JAVA error ocurred and no confirmation message generated regarding order placement so i have tried for the second time & same error occured second time so i stopped.
                Next day i received credit card alert that amount for both the orders so i have launched complain on IFB website and i have a reply also from the IFB global team member Ms.Kanika so i waited for there action but no reply since then from IFB team.
                Mean while credit card statement generated for both the orders so i requested to cancel both orders & they accepted but still i have to pay a minimum amount for both the order till order has been canceled.
                I have contacted atleast 20 times to IFB custmoer care center but not even a single time they replied satisfactory. As per IFB customer care executive they don't have any information regarding this and they had comunicated the matter to their upper level. every time they told that we will check and call you within 1 or 2 hrs but till now i have not received any phone call from IFB.
                As per IFB procedure an E-mail is sent to the customer for the confirmation of an order & i have not received any such mail and i'm presently paying the money for what i have not received any ordered thing.


                Please look into the matter.

                We have IFB Washing machine, Model – Senorita Plus. Before few days ago I had a compliant regarding “friction noise”. Accordingly a man from your company/ franchisee came last week and repaired. However, when we used washing machine after repairing, it has started making more noise than earlier. And the present situation is that this friction noise is unbearable. As a result, we have immediately stopped its use. Please sent a mechanic to see the problem

                  I purchased Alite model of IFB washing machine in 2007. It is under Warranty period upto 2011. I lodged a complaint about overheating of the machine on 15.1.2009. The problem has not been attended properly even after repeated phone calls to local Jaipur office and to the Call Centre complaint No. The service engineer has been coming and going without proper part for replacement. We are told that the defective part will come from Goa.
                  I spoke to Officer-in-Charge of IFB at Jaipur (who claims to be an engineer herself) on 26th February, 2009.She promised to see that the defect in the machine is rectified within 5 days. Another 10 days have passed but the solution is no where in sight. It appears the defective part is yet to be received from Goa. In these days of fast communication, why cant Jaipur office get the correct replacement within 2 days from Goa.
                  We are frustated. IFB may soon loose it market if treat the complaint in this manner

                  IFB Fully Automatic Washing Machine — non availability of detergent

                  Last 5-6 months surf cxcel for front load machines is not available in the army canteen. suggest names of suitable detergent for front load IFB fully automatic machine (preferably available in Milatary canteen).

                  IFB — Complaint Not being attended to

                  I had logged a complaint with IFB customer care helpline on 08-Jan-09 with complaint number 2596981. Till now, this has not been addressed even after taking an AMC from them. After regular follow-ups, the technician visited after a week and told that a part needs to be replaced and he’ll get it done in next 2 days. However, till date, this has not been replaced. We are tired of following up with their customer care number. One has to wait atleast 10-15 min to speak to the person in customer call center but even after that there is no solution that they can provide except giving the contact number of local area service center. In the service centre, they just assure that it will be done today but nothing happens. Their service is absolutely frustrating and all you get from IFB are false commitments and disgusting response. Would strongly recommend to all not to go for IFB products and invite suffering.

                  IFB fully automatic washing machine — Service not completed

                  I had a problem withmy fully automatic washing machine Model: AW60-806 in the month of November. A service man turned out a week after registering the complaint and checked the machine and told that a washer/ valve is to be replaced and will be done next day. Till date no body turned up inspite of more than 50 telephone calls. Every time they respond that they would send a person or forward our complaint and nothing is done. Why is the service so poor? Our complaint number was 2423870 when we had given the first complaint on 13-11-08. Washing mashine being a vital appliance for everyday use, we are very much troubled and affected by your company's bad customer care. Kindly sort the problem at the earliest.

                  IFB fully automatic washing machine — PATHETIC REDRESSAL OF COMPLAINTS

                  I have never seen such lethargic customer care elsewhere. IFB sucks.
                  I have been following up with the customer care since the 10TH February 2009 TILL DATE and my AMC period is just getting wasted and no one seems to respond. Its terrible and pathetic. The branch managers react like dummies and ignorant people. They just do not know how to handle customers.THEY SEND THEIR TECHNICIANS WHO ARE TOTALLY RAW AND IGNORANT AND KEEP ON CHANGING THE PARTS OF THE MACHINE WITHOUT GETTING TO THE ROOT OF THE PROBLEM. THE RESULT IS THAT THE MACHINE IS NEVER FIT FOR WORKING.

                  I have IFB washing machine and it is under AMC. I lodged a complaint no. 5064279 on 4th Sep. 2010 but no body is attending the same though I call their customer care helpline daily.                   i made a mistake of buying an IFB washing machine....i have paid for AMC...i have booked complaint on[protected]....they have given a false assurance that it will be attended in 24 hrs...nothing has happened after 3 days inspite of my repeated calls...now neither the company nor the hyderabad branch people are not even taking calls.....i feel this is because they dont get any extra money because it is in AMC...

                    In my within warranty IFB micro-oven (Model no. 30SC2) had corrosion in the inner body (cooking cabinet). Though it is made of stain-less steel. It became very much unhygienic. I lodged a complain to IFB on 08 Jan 2009 at 10:00 pm (Complain ticket no. 2599885 dated 08 Jan 2009). Within two days, one representative of the company visited our house & inspected the unit and confirmed the warranty failure of the unit’s inner part. He informed that company would replace the part. However, till date despite of several request to the company’s Kolkata service centre, no action has been taken to repair/replace the part of my machine.

                      I purchased an IFB washing Machine Model:Elite 5Kg, in Feb 2007 from your showroom at Sterling Road in Chennai. This machine was under repair most of the time. I make complaint and your people come and attend, it will work for 10 to 15 days and again repair. This goes on till today.

                      I suspect, there is some manufacturing defect in that machine.

                      IFB has got reputation and always want to maintain cordial relationship with its clients. Earlier also I was having an IFB washing Machine and that was giving very good service for a decade.

                      I purchased this machine by exchanging the old hoping to get improved machine. But this proved otherwise and we are suffering for the last two years.

                      I expect IFB to act on my complaint and do what best you can do to retain client’s confidence over IFB.

                      IFB Washing Machine, Elite Model — IFB Washing machine manufacturing defect???

                      We have purchased Elite model of IFB in Oct, 07 from Faridabad. Within 8 months of purchase the machine developed problem and it stopped working suddenly. After repeated compliants and several follow ups, service person attended to the m/c after 1 month and informed that water inlet valve needed replacement. However, the m/c again developed problem within 3 months of service. Again, it was attended to and the problem rectified. This time, the performance of the m/c was still better. It konked off only after running for TWO rounds. Its not clear whether service person does not know how to rectify the problem of the m/c or whether IFB has not checked the quality of the finished prodect. IFB is being requested to look into the problem and replace the m/c if need be. In future, we would be careful in choosing the products from IFB and would inform our acquaintances also about the same.

Some person from the company came the next day and told that some component has to be changed. He promised to repair/ change the component on the comming day. Despite my repeated telephones to your office at Chennai and assurances given by the person attending the calls, no body has come to repair the machine. For past four months, i called many times to chennai office but there no response and nobody lifted the phone also.I do not know the reasons for the delay. If there is some problem then I should be informed so that some alernative arrangements could be made. Negligence and carelessness on the part of your office has been causing great incovenience and avoidable expenditure on the washing of cloths in the washing shop for which you company is responsible.                       washing machine (elite 5 kg) — repair service

                      Sir,
                      I stay in Jaipur and had lodged a complaint (Complaint no. 5530045) with your customer care center on Monday (Dec. 7) for repairing my washing machine. As per the complaint a person came for assessing the problem on Wednesday and said that it needs to go to the workshop for repair. He said that the machine will be picked from my home on Thursday. On Thursday he said it will be picked on Friday as audits were going on in the workshop. Even after repeated reminding the machine was not picked till Tuesday (Dec 14). Then I again called up the customer care where they refused to call the senior executive on the phone and even refused to disclose the senior manager’s name, but promised that the machine will be picked today. On Tuesday as well machine remained at home. Then on Wednesday I talked to Megha Jain who is the head of Service Department in Jaipur, she assured us that the machine will be picked on the same day. But now it is Thursday (ten days since I lodged my complaint) and machine has still not been picked, forget about the repairing.

                      This is highly unprofessional and not expected from a company of your repute. It is very disappointing to know that you can’t even fulfill your commitments. Am I expected to go to the local vendor? Who will then be responsible for future problems in the machine?

                          Following some problems with the way our Elena washing machine (purchased Jan 2005) was spinning, we contacted IFB customer care (mid Jan '09). Someone visited two days after the complaint was raised and said that the program setting knob had some loose contact. He supposedly fixed it and it started working again.

                          After three days the same problem occurred and we called up customer care again. The mechanic came after four days and said that the issue was due to the calc deposit in the machine.



                          A water softening tool from IFB had been fixed to the water inlet of the machine following IFB's advice at the time of the purchase of the machine. The representative did not check the pipes or water in/outlet and simply assumed that the culprit would be the calc.
                          He poured 1.5 pack of IFB's descaling powder into the wash powder tray and half a pack into the drum. That when it was clearly written on the pack that the powder should be poured into the wash powder tray only. After that the drum went black!!!
                          He demanded Rs. 300 for the powder though we were on AMC!! We did not give the money though.
                          The drum should have been washed and the filter cleaned after the descaling, which he did NOT do.

                          After n number of phone calls and arguments, the guy who screwed up our drum came to "investigate" and we were promised that the drum would be replaced (1st week of Feb), which hasn't happened till now. Since 18th Feb '09 the machine is back to square 1 and not spinning properly. I raised a complaint on 19th, then followed up on 22nd and was told that they haven't been able to visit since the PIN code given in the address is incorrect. To be noted is that we had already been visited thrice in a month's time - so I don't understand how the PIN could be the reason for the delay in service!

                          We were told that the issue has been forwarded to the local franchise and were given a contact number (Gopi - [protected]). The franchise guy told us that the issue had already been addressed and that the representative had informed them that the drum needed to be replaced. I told him that that was one thing and that the more urgent issue was that the spinning was not right and that it needed to be looked into immediately. Then he said that it cannot be done until the drum is replaced and that he will call in 2 days and let me know when he can send the vehicle to take the machine to the service centre. Three days have passed and no one has called.

                          By the way, we were initially told that we had to bring the machine to the service centre ourselves. How could that be our problem when the damage was caused by the IFB people?! It took me some tongue-lashing for them to agree that they would come and take the machine. The question is: When?!

                              I have purchased IFB Senoreta + washing Machine and was quiet satified with its performance untill dec 2009, when it stopped suddenly. We called your service cente and person came on 28th December, 09 and recommended replacement of some parts .We agreed and got the same replaced for Rs 2080 .However the machine could work merely for a week and the problem re- occured .The complaint was lodged and the person came on january 10th to recommend replacement of some other part which we again agreed to replace for Rs 1200. This time the machine worked for more than a week. We had no other option but to lodge complaint again . But this time (Till date 26th Feb, 2010), we are given only assurance but no service .

                              This is totally unprofessional and is not in accordance with the market reputationof IFB.

                              May I request your intervention and ensure our complaint is attended by a competent person without any further delays with least wested interest ( Of replacing parts as franchise main emphasis has been on this aspect and not the competence of persons ).

                                  The IFB call centre in Bangalore - [protected] is one of the most ill equipped call centre one can find anywhere in the world. The call centre agents dont understand English. While the automated response system requests to dial 1 for english, when the call is directed to a call agent, the agent doesnt understand English.

                                  Both the response times, and the response quality are the worst one can find globally. Its surprising that IFB being a global company, doesnt have a call centre with well resourced people.

                                  Most recently, there have been a lot of issues getting dishwasher salt and detergents delivered. The lead time is anywhere between 3-4 weeks. Several follow up's are required to be done, post which the agents will shuttle a customer between Harinidhi enterprises and back to the call centre

                                  All in all, a very frustrating experience for a customer !

                                  I have booked a complaint for not working of dish washer three months back but till date it has not been attended / rectified, and shmelesssly they ahve sent a message todaw that upgrde your machine & save Rs. 5000.00.
                                  The company appears to have involved itself in cheating the customers and provide zero after sale services. My last complaint no. is. 2777257 dated 28.02.2009.

                                  I think this is thre best time for company to wind up from India.

                                  Srividya's complaint has made IFB take notice and they do indeed now have an english call centre and a very responsive complaints redressal process.
                                  I have another shocking thing for you people to know about IFB modus operandi.
                                  IFB service engineer had taken a PCB and front panel from my Microwave for servicing. After 22 days and repeated calls to various people in the their organization finally one service engineer has brought the "so called rectified board "to replace it and found that he has not brought the main front panel along with it. Out of curiosity when I looked at the PCB, which was supposed to have been rectified, I found two micro switches were just left unsoldered. This may be they way they ensure we depend on their Annual Maintenance Contract. I am calling the senior manager to come and see this for himself.
                                  "Service one problem and create another problem to get more money from the Customer" This is the way we get trapped in their web forever.

                                  I have the same feeling for IFB appliance. I purchased a Dish Washer on my wife's name on 25-08-09 from Reliance Digital, Vashi, Navi Mumbai.On 27-08-09, a person from IFB came and demonstrated us how to operate it but without washing any utensils because to wash utensil special salt, detergent and a liquid is requred. The person said you will have to purchase these materials and then you will be able to wash the dishes in this machine.I ordered all material for 6 months requrement.Till date the 5th September, 2009, no material has been supplied and I am frantically calling IFB service provider in Navi Mumbai, Reliance Digital (from where I purchased this machine) & of course to IFB directly but in vain.The only answer I get is that material is out of stock and it will be supplied when available. Reliance Digital says that it is not their responsiblity because after sales service is IFB's responsibility.My New Dishwasher is like show piece for last ten days. I am really curshing myself why I purchased machine from IFB because I had very very bad experience with IFB 8 years ago when I purchased IFB washing machine

                                    11th Feb. engineer come and told that one rubber inside the machine has damaged that need to replaced.He told that it will be replaced after two days when thay will receive it from Ludhiana store as the same is not available at Patiala.We repeatedly called his Mobile no. but shown the inability as the faulty parts are not available He gave us the contact no of area manager [protected] .On calling this no. no one responded.Such attitude of such a reputed firm is unexpected.

                                    Brought one washing machine (Senator DX) from Bismi, Thripunithura three months back. Within one month it developed a complaint and the panle board' was replaced by service centre. This is again having complain after one month and replaced again. now it is failed for the third time.                                       The IFB Care unit can be termed as one of the most unorganized and pathetic care unit. I think it is sourced out and its right hand doesn’t know what left hand is up to. Very soon you will get upset with the response and synergy they show towards there service effecting the customer.

                                      No concern being shown by service personel to rectify the smallest problem in machine even though having AMC for the washing machine.The service& maint. management is worst one can think of at Gurgaon. Will any body, may be some higher up in the company would like to address the customer recurring problem, I am sure the incharge Gurgaon does not believe in
                                      customer delight or customer satisfaction.Very rude behavior by maint.staff at Gurgaon

                                      This is to inform you that we had buy your one washing machine 5.0 kg. digital Bill no. 01R800310 on date 31.04.08 from Lotus Electronics super market indore (M.P.) Till now it is 14 month old machine. out of this period its break down period is around 8 month. Earlier several time we had booked our complained and its 4-5 part including motor was replaced by you. As on date it is again under repair. We feel that this machine have some masure manufacturing defect. Because after every repair by your machine it will run for 2-3 time and get again under break down. So we request you to replace this machine at the earliest.

                                      Don't buy IFB Digital 7 Kg, the highest range. I bought the same machine and now the IFB Company Representatives are not ready to install and now they are saying that it has to have overhead tank at 30 feet in height and not ready to give any solution. Then why the hell they are informing and advertising before buying.
                                      very pathetic. i am having similar response. i was told minimum 15 feet reqd and the installation rep has refused to come home!!!
                                      Very very poor customer support. We need to continusoly follow these buggers...

                                      Please hige some good people so that IFB can maintain there standards.

                                        To the IFB Senior Management,

                                        I don't know where to begin actually. Only because i am SO DISGRUNTLED by your pathetic lousy After Sales service. My trouble began the day i bought the Machine in August 2008 from your Sales office at BKC, Mumbai. You may find it difficult that your Service staff took no less than a week to get the machine installed owing to the lack of "Time" to visit my premises.

                                        That was just the start of all troubles really. The Serviceman, Mr. Singh who visited us was not only Extremely rude and uncouth, he went on to spread ugly rumours that he was insulted and abused at our premise. This fact came to light when your BKC office took an ENORMOUS delay in attending to my registered problem of the machine going defunct within 3 weeks of its purchase.

                                        Again to bring to your attention, It took no less than 21 working days for your staff to realise the problem and get the machine replaced only at the continued persistence at my hand.

                                        This nonsensical and almost whimsical service standard almost became consistent when the machine again ran into trouble within three months and it took several reminders to get the Service centre to visit us.

                                        What happened the previous week has literally spilt my anger and i can NO MORE be tolerant to your company's screwed up service standards.
                                        After the machine showed problems since Monday 16th Feb 2009, We registered a complaint on Tuesday 17th Feb 2009. As usual, we were assured by your Hotline staff that someone would attend to us within 48 hours and passed on the Service centre's contact details. "Lucky Service Centre".
                                        This shoddy franchisee of yours however denied having recieved our complaint at all and chose to insist that some other Service centre named " Grover Services" would be attending to us. Inspite of this, your Hotline staff[protected], Mr. Vinay, Mr. Siddharth, Mr. Srinivas, Ms Pooja...(They are as many who have stood to doing NOTHING yet). they all insisted that it is Lucky services who shall be servicing the machine. MY ONLY QUESTION HERE IS... WHY IS MY COMPLAINT BEING TOSSED AROUND STILL INSPITE OF SUCH REPEATED REMINDERS?????????

                                        Till date, as i write this mail to you, NO ONE...I REPEAT...NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO REVERT, RESPOND OR ASSURE that the machine problem shall be attended to.

                                        I have LOST ALL belief that yours is a company of global standards who have failed SO MISERABLY ON ALL COUNTS when it comes to SIMPLE after sales servicing...

                                        My next step would indeed be raising this issue in the consumer forum wherein i shall rightfully seek redressal against such Nonsensical whims being inflicted against us customers.

                                        If there is ANY DECENCY amongst the Top bosses at IFB, i'd expect a tendered apology for this ruckus caused over the past few months... The false allegations of your Service staff including Mr Singh...The lack of any response towards the machine replacement for over 3 weeks...THe continued shoddiness by way of absence of ANY response towards my complaints... LEave alone attending to them... In light of absence of any response from your side. I shall strongly believe that this Complaint feedback has also been thrown into garbage... Just reflecting your focus on Customer quality...ZERO...

                                        IFB — Service & Repair

                                        I regret to say that Service Network for the IFB washing machine is so bad and irresponsible our machine is 100% in the guarantee period upto 4-years (2012) but had been twice major break down, where ECU was replaced after 1-month of nagging service station to fix it. Now they said motor is also need to replace along with ECU and no body is attending or telling when will they replace?? I am worried after the guarantee period what we will do??? with these kind of issues and poor reponse.

                                        I will never recommend any body to buy IFB machine in my friend circle.

                                        This time Mr. Sunil Kumar, Service Engineer came to repair his attitude was so ignorant like he is giving favor to us by attending service call. And when we ask question about machine why it is not working he replied rudely, And when we ask him to update the Job card with diagnoses what is wrong so we will keep the history of issues, he bluntly refuse to write down on the Job Card. So Service station and we cannot maintain the issues in the History. When we insisted he threatened us that "now he will see how we can get the repair done". Such a attitude from the Service Engineer of the Reputed firm!!1 I am sure either company is doing very well do not care about after sale or will be closing down SOON.
