Have purchased this IFB senator 2 years back, during the warranty period no one visited, only at the end of 2 nd year, they called for AMC...i refused to take AMC because there is no proper service done from their end, after 2 months, i faced this problem, booked complaint in toll free no, after 10 days the service guy visited and by not even checking what the problem is he commented that the drum got damaged due to salt water, where in we are using the same water for all purpose including drinking /bore water.
they are charging Rs. 4000 for servicing, i believe there are cheating, not even checked for a minute...just a comment due to salt water...drum got damaged...its a utter nonsense, paying so much of money in buying branded machine of no Use...
I would like to go to the consumer court to seek help.

IFB Senator — Machine picked up, to be fixed in 2 days, it has been 10 days not returned

logged a complaint regarding my machine making a little noise to IFB on 20th apr, they contacted me on 26th, person came and damaged my machine by banging its bearings with hammer, damaged the drum also, the machine was taken on 27th for service and they commited that it would be fixed by 29th and will be returned by 3PM on 29th. From then i am hearing stories from the sc manager as well as area manager and have not received the machine yet. Every day i get a confirmation that it will be delivered today, but of no use.
Don't know how to go about it, even the area manager is not bringing in result!!

    Hi,

    I am from Jaipur ( Ratasthan )

    I bought IFB digital fully automatic washing machine on 30.7.2005 & having its extended warranty upto 29.07.2009 .

    Around middle of march we had some problems in our machine, their was some noise so we called the service centre, Mr. Ramniwas came from their & he told us that we have to send the machine to their service centre ourself & their they will check the machine, repair it & then we have to bring it back ourself .

    We knew afterwards that he was lying, normally the service centre carry the machine from home & deliver it back too, & for this service they charge Rs. 200 each trip. Please inform if its correct or not as the people from your service centre doesn't inform about such service ??

    After this we went out of city & came back on 28th march 2009 .
    After our arrival back to jaipur we sent our machine for repairings on 30.03.2009 to your service centre in Jaipur under complaint number 1252 .

    Again Mr. Ramniwas & Mr. Deepak attended our complaint, they wrote on the complaint form that Bottom panel is broken, Facia side lock is broken & these can't be replaced as these are not provided by the company . We dont know if its true or not ?? Please let us know.

    After we left the machine at your service centre, they didn't called us in next two days, after two days we called them & then they told us that Power control card of this machine is not working & why didn;t you sent it 20 days before . We explained him that we were out of city so how can we send it before .

    During all this conversation the behaviour of the people their was very rude.

    Today Morning Mr. Ramniwas called us again, he told us that the machine is ready, we have to pay the amount for the repairs & after our payment, machine will be delivered to us . We told him that our machine is under warranty so we should not be charged for anything .

    He got very upset hearing this, he told us that their was a coin in your machine & their are big damages in the machine due to this coin, the power control panel is also damaged because of this coin . We told him that we always check our clothes very carefully before washing them so their are no chances at all of having a coin in the machine .

    Then Ms. Megha came on phone & told us that she will send the technician with the waste materials, coins etc he got from the machine & with the bill we have to pay for repairs & parts . After seeing this we have to pay the bill first of all & then we have to pick the machine from their place .

    We asked her that tell us what is the amount of our bill, she took 20 minutes for checking the bill & even after this she didn;t tell us the amount after asking so many times . At the end we told her that this is under warranty so we should not pay for it, but she told us forcefully that you didn't used the mahine in a proper way so you have to pay for all this damage . We denied her again & again paying these charges.

    Then Mr. Ramniwas came on phone again, he told us that if we don't want to pay for the control panel, then we have to buy a Stabilizer from IFB company, we told him that we already bought stabilizer few months back from him, why we should buy it again ? Then he told us which washing powder you use in the machine, we told him we use surf exel matic ( few months back he told us to use this powder ), he said that we should use another powder which is surf exel matic ... ( we dont remember exact word but its some new kind of powder . He told us that we have to buy this powder only from him, i don;t know if IFB is selling this kind of powder of he himself is selling this powder . Please let us know as its very interesting for us to know.

    When we bought the machine the seller never specified that we have to use any special brand of washing powder in your machine .

    Mr. Ramniwas also told us that the drum of your machine is so dirty because of wrong powder you are using, we regularly use surf excel matic & regulrly clean the machine with descaling power provided by your service centre, so we can't understand this problem too. We explained this to him & then he said OK you talk to Megha & megha just hang up the phone for next 20 minutes.

    After that i called them again after 15 minutes & Mr. Ramniwas told me that pay for the bearings & descaling he has done in the drum of the machine . I told him that i will not pay anything & only thing i can pay is transportation charges for sending this machine to my home.

    He told us that if we dont pay the money then he will not send us the machine .

    After one hour Mr. Deepak called us from service centre & asked us that they bring this machine for repairs from our first complaint at middle of march, as we didn;t sent the machine immediately after our first complaint ( we wrote you above that after this first complaint we went out of city for next many days ) so we used this machine in these 15-20 days & becuase we used this machine so all these damages happened & we have to pay for these damages . We explained him that we were out of city & when we are not here, how can we send the machine or how can we use the machine ?? but he was not listening to us & only asking for money again & again .

    Then Mr. Deepak gave us last option, he told us that if we buy extended warranty for another two years then all these charges will be free for us . We explained him that our warranty expires in july 2009, so its still valid for next four months, if they can't give benefit of it to us now then how can we trust that he will give us further service for it which we entitled to get free of cost.

    During all this conversation we realized that Mr. Ramniwas Or Ms. Megha Or Mr. Deepak etc are all bunch of crooks who are just sitting their to cheat the people & make the money . They don't have anything to do with reputation of your company & with such kind of people soon you will realize that you will loose a lot of business .

    At the end we told them clearly that if they want to keep the machine, they can keep it their & we will buy a new machine from a reputated company who is not having cheats like these people in their service centre .

    We will advice everyone that if they are thinking to buy anything from IFB then they should first talk with the people of IFB service centre so they can realize what they will face afterwords.

    If you want to know all what is going on their, just check as a customer with your jaipur service centre & then you will know yourself.

    For your knowledge i know four other customers who are cheated in the same way by these people & they are thinking to file a Law-suit against IFB for all this . I am thinking the same too .

    This complaint i am writing in a hope that their must be some sincere people in your customer care who can really understand pain of a customer who has been harrased by such people from IFB service centre.

    Now we are not sure that when we get back this machine, it will be our machine or not, most probably the people their has already changed all the good parts of this machine & replced them by old broken parts which we can't see from outside & this we will know only after using it.

    Hope you will check this matter & revert back to us soon .

    i agree same it's happenning with me. i agree all this matter. i bought same fully automatic machine and i felt same problem.
    Scrue these IFB service centers, they are same everywhere ... My washing machine warranty is till 8-Nov-2012 but they have charged me 3033 INR for the same two years early ...
    IFB has been cheating the people like this. I purchased IFB 20SC2 from Shree Jee Electronics on 28th November 2009. The machine is not working and we lodged the complaint. The service engineer came and checked the machine and told that the Capacitor of the machine is out of order. Then we were away for 6 months and called them oncemore. May be 3 times in a day. They told that they will get back to us. But in vain??? IFB seems to be a reputed company. This type of service is not expected from them. I donot know how many days we have to wait for the complaint to be attended.
    Kindly be generous and serve the people as per company norms and conditions.

      I Have bought IFB Microwave Oven Model 20SC2 on 28.03.09 from Sahu Agencies, Lucknow.There was no proper demo and during Demo electricity failed and demo was not completed .When electricity came I tried to use the microwave but the bulb had fused and microwave was not working .I lodged complaint on customer care and was given complaint no. 2891240 dated 4.4.09 and was told by the person that in 48 hours the complaint bwill be attended but sorry to say that till date no one from IFB had contacted me even though my husband has repeatedly reminded on the customer care no. and Local lucknow IFB numbers.We bought IFB because of reputation of the company but sorry to say the working of the IFB is below standard .It would be very kind of you all if through you my complaint is attended.

        I logged on my complaint for a fault in IFB Washing Machine on 3rd Feb 2009. My complaint Number is 2884541. My machine is under AMC. Till today nobody has bothered to attend my complaint.I called IFB customer care on 1.04.09 again to check why this was happening! They informed me that my address mentioned in their records is wrong, the address they told me is my three years old address.I am giving regular AMC of my machine and the last complaint attended by IFB was on 8.12.2008, and the complaint number is 2515267.This complaint was attended by IFB engineer at my present address in NOIDA. I fail to understand how come my old address is recorded in their Records when they have already attended my complaint in December 2008 at my present address which was given to their representative while giving AMC payment? My AMC receipt Number is 172633 dated 03.08.08.The customer ID given to me is 288040.
        When I called their customer care on 1.04.09., I asked IFB representative, why was I not contacted on my Mobile Number if my complaint was not closed, he had no reply to my question. Then I requested him to note down my correct present address and he promised me that their engineer will definately vist us within 24 hours.
        He also gave the mobile number of Mr, Ashok([protected]). I contacted him and he asked me to speak to Mr. Mihir Mobile Number [protected]. I spoke to him on 2.04.08 and he promised me that he will send the engineer early morning on 3.04.09 positively. Nobody has visited me so far!
        I lost my patience and called customer care again 0n 3.04.09. I spoke to Mr.Francis and was shocked to know that they still have not corrected my address in their records. Then I asked him to give me the name and telephone number of senior Manager of customer care. He gave line to Mr.Rajvir who according to him is a supervisor. I asked him to give me the Name and Telephone number of a senior Manager of customer care. He refused to give me that. Then I threatened him that I will lodge a complaint in consumer court, then he gave me a name of a person, Mr. Rais Ahmed but did not give me his telephone Number.
        I called Mr. Mihir on 5.04.09 again to check if they are interested to send an engineer or should we throw away the washing machine and forget about it?? He politely said that I am looking after Delhi area and I have passed on my complaint to the Branch Manager of NCR who will arrange to send me an engineer.
        It seems that there is nobody in IFB company to check and listen to the complaints of their customers!
        Nobody in customer care is botherd to listen anything and they are doing whatever they want to do. When they come for taking the AMC they give you very big big commitments and promises but when it comes to service they are all BIG ZERO.Every body in IFB is the KING and nobody is bothered about the spoiling reputation of such a big International company like IFB.

        I lodged this complaint on 3.04.09 but did not get any reply to my complaint so I am lodging this complaint today again.
        May I ask you why are they all behaving in such a casual manner and what action will you take on them so that this kind of attitude is not repeated again with other customers??????????????????????????

        Sub: Non providing of warranty services for removing defects.

        Sir,

        It is inform you that vide invoice date 19.1.2008 I purchased on IFB washing machine WM TL 6.oKg AW60-806-6kg. from M/s Bedi Electronics Words for Rs.13, 800/- with warranty of two years.

        That after purchase I called various ti me to the dealer and service centre for rectification of the defects arisen services were provided and defects were removed

        Now for the last one month my com plaint is pending against complaint no.3056527 dt. 22.5.2009 and you promise to rectify the defects within 24 hours but despite of various telephone calls and on customer care centre as well as through emails no body visited for removing the defects except recording the defects in the washing machine with the observation that machine required replacement and cannot be repaired.

        Now through this registered letter I requested you to please comply with the warranty condition immediately as I am suffering from spinal problem and helpless to do the manual work . There is no other young women or person in the day time in the home to help me so I am suffering very hardship and mental tension and difficulties in cleaning the cloths of the family members. I am also afraid from hiring servant due to there wrongful act . I hope you will consider my case on priority considering the circumstances otherwise I will have no option to approach the District Consuemr Forum
        for relief.

        i'm also agree to the same.IFB is not attending their customers in a responsible manner, their service centre in kerala at perumbavoor took my machine to their service centre and charged about Rs 4000/ without invoice
        They did not repair it. The complaint is still continuing.I sent a message from IFB's website but not yet responded yet
        Yes, IFB brand is worst machine which i had selected in my life time. New machines are often getting in to problem, the service persons are attending and asked to change the most of the spares, once u purchased and kept ready they will change it and they will took back the defective parts which is our property.( that also we maynot know all the changed sparesis defective) i[censored] not giving the defective parts they will blackmail u they will not service further.

        According to my suggestion this type bad MNC company's have to punish with huge penalty

          The warrenty of one of my washing machines has lapsed on the 18th of March 2009. Till date none of the employees/service personal has come back to me offering a AMC package. Surprised to note the service standards maintained/quality of service provided of IFB.
          I have been trying to reach Mr. Steven on [protected] to help me with the AMC, but in vain. There never has been a response from him till date. The phone rings with no response from the other side.
          Iam now informed by the service team that post realisation of the AMC cheque, it would take 45 days for my AMC to be actioned. This is ridiculus. I can understand that you will need to wait for the amount to be realised. What shocks me is-why should the customer wait for 45 days after receipt of money by the company. As a customer i have all rights to awail of the services of the company post payment realisation.

          Now the rubber bushes of the stand which holds the washing machine is worn out and hence needs replacement urgently. I would appreciate if you could ensure the same is done immedialty post realisation of payment.

          I would expect a revert on this by monday (6th Apr 2009).

            My machine Ser No. A031526 has been continuously under AMC and the present AMC is valid till 06/11/2010 (AMC NO. 174802 dt 07/11/2008). I have been constantly asking your service centre to rectify the machine which shakes violently whenever it is in the "spin mode". Your mechanics have come and changed a No. of items such as drum, shock absorbers etc. However the fundamental problem continues to trouble the machine. This not only leads to damage to the floor besides making unwanted noise, but also causes unnecessary wear & tear to the machine itself. I think the level needs to be raised and a qualified engineer needs to have a look. Your service centre at Ghaziabad seems unable to do anything further. An urgent action is requested please.

              i purchased a top loading 6kg IFB washing machine about 1 week back. i am sorry to say that the water in let c o nn e ctin g hose is too short to reac h the tap in m y b athroom as i ha ve to keep the m achin e n ec essarily outside the bathroom to prevent moisture which may damage the machine. Alternately I have to carry out additional cumbersome plumbing which will spoil the walls.A simple solution will be to make the water inlet connecting hose longer, say, about 6 feet in length so that the machine can be very conveniently placed outside the bathroom and hose can be disconncted and rolled up and kept outside the bathroom. In my previous BPL washing machine I was provided with such a connecting hose.

              When I complained to your HELPLINE I was provided with an extension water inlet hose but with a rubber universal connector which could take pressure of the water in the line and got disconnected with full force and my bedroom adjacent to the bathroom was flooded with water within minutes and huge job of wiping and cleaning my bedroom.I fail to understand why the same metal&ABSplastic universal connector which can be tightly screwed to the tap was not provided to the extension hose which should have been the logical thing to do.

              I hope you have understood my problem.A somewhat crude solution has been temporarily provided by the service provided but the correct&longterm solution is as I have mentioned in the previous paragraphs.Do you think you can see you way in providing the kind of connecting hose which I have described above.I have already spent Rs8OO/- on the additional accessories provided to me which has not helped much.

              Hope you will give serious thought to my complaint

                This is a copy of correspondace sent to M/s IFB after a dismal performance of its Washing Machine. This will highlight the harrasment I had to go through after purchasing the product.

                This comes from a customer whose trust of IFB products has been shattered at a time when I ignored all the available products in the market and chose IFB. Please pay attention to the grievances I have now have regarding IFB product purchased by me and an under par service provided to me after purchase. I purchased an IFB washing machine on 18th December 2008. I hereby mention the proceedings of event that has upset me as a customer

                - On 18/12/2008 an IFB washing machine was purchased by me from M/s Thermoking, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi. The installation of the purchased machine was done only after 3 days of my purchase of the product, that too after frequent calls made to one Mr. KP Aggarwal, (Incharge, East Delhi)

                -On 8th March, 2009, after almost three months of my purchase of the washing machine a problem occurred which disabled the washing machine completely. A complaint regarding the problem occurred was made thru telephone to customer care on the 9th March, 2009. An SMS posted to me conveyed the registration of my complaint and I was given a complaint number : 2803573.

                -Since then it took quite a while for the help to reach us and it was on 12/3/2009, a got an opportunity to speak to Mr. KP Aggarwal, who assured me that the problem would be taken care of and soon a technician would visit our premises to rectify the problem. Surprisingly, no technician visited on 12/3/2009 and I had to call up Mr. KP Aggarwal again on 13/09/2009 to send someone to look into the problem. Mr. KP Aggarwal seems to be a very busy person and expects the customers to be patient, something that he himself is not at a time when a genuine call is made regarding a product that was purchased just 3 months back. On 13/03/2009, one technician did visit in the evening at 4:30pm but unfortunately, there is no electricity power (which off course is beyond our control) and the technician decided to return, with a promise that he will be back next morning. On 14/03/2009 the procedure of making calls to Mr. KP Aggarwal started from the morning and to my surprise Mr. KP Aggarwal said that the technician had visited yesterday and there was no electricity, so for a visit again you have to be “PATIENT”, when your turn comes. A call was then made by me to the customer care as well and I was shocked and shackled in that situation, as I was unable to get help from the company itself, from whom I purchased a product defying all other companies in the market. The technician, however, visited our premises on 14th March, 2009 at around 5 pm and checked the machine and found that the water pump was not functioning at all in the washing machine. At that moment I thought that here is a washing machine that I purchased 3 months back and the water pump was non functional. I wonder whether I made the right decision by purchasing an IFB washing machine? But that was not the end of the problem that needed a solution, there was harassment by Mr. KP Aggarwal awaiting us. Since the pump was non functional, I called up Mr. KPAggarwal and told him that I can come to his office and collect the water pump so that the problem is fixed on the same day. Mr. KP Aggarwal felt that my coming to his office to pick up the water pump was not a good idea as the technician’s working hours were about to get over and by the time I reach to him, the working hours would be over. I was then advised to remain “PATIENT” till 16th March 2009. Meanwhile I spoke to different people of M/s IFB and conveyed my grievances to them. Floor manager Mr. Shashi, was then contacted and he advised me to remain patient till 16th March 2009 as no action was possible before that.

                Head customer care Mr. Raees was then contacted who sounded very confident in solving my problem and told me that in 10 minutes some one from M/s IFB would call me and solve the issue. No one called me for good 2 hours and I had to call up Mr. Raees again, who first apologized and advised me to be “PATIENT” and someone would definitely call me this time. Someone did call me up and that was Mr. Manish Lodha (Head of Sales, Delhi) and what I got from him was another assurance, that the problem would be fixed surely by 15/03/2009, 12 pm. I was a little relieved and believed that the problem would now be solved soon as the Head of Sales, Delhi had promised me. NO ONE EVEN CALLED ME UP FORGET ABOUT ANY TECHNICIAN VISITING OUR PREMISES. On 15th March 2009 when by 4pm no one visited us, I tried to speak to Mr. Manish Lodha but my call was not attended to, by him. I then called up customer care and this time I was made to speak to one Mr. Jasbir who gave one more assurance that the problem would be solved by the same evening. The problem was not solved and no one visited us.

                On 16th of March 2009, frequent calls were made to Mr. KP Aggarwal and finally the help was sent to us and the water pump was replaced. I feel lucky that there were no further harassments to come my way.

                NOW THE QUESTION IS, DID I DO THE RIGHT THING BY PURCHASING AN IFB PRODUCT ? Please help me with an answer Because, I make a full payment and purchase a washing machine. How come a new washing machine’s water pump became non functional in just three months of purchase. Was I given a genuine new product ? Despite my trust in your company’s product and spending my hard earned money on the purchase, why was I made to suffer so much by people responsible for after sales services. I am a regular tax payer to the Government of India and it I think I have a right to know that why a responsible citizen like me is made to suffer for no fault of mine’s. My trust on IFB products had been demolished and I am a highly dissatisfied customer and will not ever, even think of buying or recommending your product to any one. I look forward to a reply from M/s IFB on the harassment I have faced and I promise that I will be “PATIENT” again (as advised on numerous occasions by your people) for a reply from M/s IFB.

                I am still awaiting reply from them and intend to carry forward my grievance till formal apology is made.

                I WISH TO BRING TO YOUR ATTENTION THE LOOT BEING DONE BY YOUR FRANCHISES TO YOUR IFB CUSTOMERS.



                i have purchased IFB SENATOR washing machine two years back. Its warranty period is over two months back. I have not taken the AMC till now.



                I had a small problem of detergent suds coming out of detergent tray, for which i made a complaint to the call center and they had given the complaint to M/S PERFECT COOL SERVICE, D.N.NAGAR, ANDHERI-W, [protected], the local franchise of IFB. The technician called MR SANOJ visited my home on 20.12.2010 and after inspection of the machine said THAT THE TIMER IS DEFECTIVE AND NEEDS TO BE CHANGED. I told him, that machine has no problem, only detergent suds are coming out of the detergent tray. He tried to justify his stand and said that because timer is defective, it is throwing back all detergent through the detergent tray. I then asked him, what will happen if will not change the timer ( because i was having this problem, since many months and sometimes suds came out / sometimes not. To which he replied, that SOME BIGGER PROBLEM WILL HAPPEN, LIKE MOTOR / DRUM getting spoiled. Although i did not agreed to his argument, but fearing bigger loss, i agreed to change the timer. I asked him, whether he has brought new timer, to which he showed a timer from his bag, without any packaging ( in loose polythene ). It did not looked like a new timer at all nor it was present in company packaging / ifb logo.

                To which he replied, that it comes like that only from company.



                But, as i had no option, i agreed to change the timer. When he was changing the timer, i tried that he changes in my presence, but he objected and said IT WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME. Then i moved to another room and within five minutes he came out and said that the job is done. 5 MIN back he was telling me IT WILL TAKE LOT OF TIME and within 5 min the job was done.



                After that i paid him rs 2584 for changing the timer and rs 331 as visit charges . Then he asked us that HOW MUCH DETERGENT WE USE WHILE WASHING CLOTHES. We showed him the scoop which we were using. To WHICH HE REPLIED THAT YOU SHOULD USE HALF THE QUANTITY WE ARE USING IN FUTURE. Then he left.



                All this raised some suspicion in my mind and decided to do some research on internet / IFB manual. I was surprised to read in the IFB MANUAL and internet sites, that there TWO CAUSES of leaking DETERGENT SUDS from detergent tray-

                1- USE OF EXCESSIVE DETERGENT

                2- USE OF WRONG DETERGENT.



                I felt cheated after knowing this and I UNDERSTOOD THAT MR SANOJ has cheated me for rs 2584 by raising false alarm for TIMER, I do not think he has changed any timer. He just showed me the timer initially and later on he took the timer back with him, saying that this is company policy. IF I HAVE PAID FOR THE TIMER, IT IS MY FULL RIGHT TO KEEP THE TIMER WITH ME. but he insisted and took the timer back



                Then i called up the customer care and told the entire story to one executive. She just gave me a number of MR BARI[protected] and asked me to speak to him. She said he is a company manager. I called mr bari and asked him his designation. He said, i am the owner of the franchisee.



                I was surprised, but i told him the entire story once again, HE ALSO TOLD ME THAT THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN TIMER & MY PROBLEM OF SUDS COMING OUT OF DETERGENT TRAY. He assured me that he shall send another senior engineer mr pandey for checking and shall refund my money. But no one came from their side and then when again i called up the next day, he said that MR SANOJ shall talk to you and mr pandey shall visit you. Mr sanoj called me up and tried to justify his stand, to which i did not agree.



                after that from last two days i am calling mr bari and is not taking my call. I FEEL CHEATED BY IFB . KINDLY RETURN MY MONEY IMMEDIATELY AND TAKE NECESSARY ACTION AGAINST YOUR CHEATER FRANCHISE AND THEIR STAFF, OTHER WISE YOUR BRAND SHALL GO DOWN.



                ALREADY THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF COMPLAINT IN INTERNET ABOUT IFB AND THEIR FRANCHISES. AFTER SEEING THESE COMPLAINTS I HAD BOUGHT SIEMENS DISHWASHER AND NOT IFB .





                KINDLY SOLVE MY PROBLEM ASAP . OTHERWISE I SHALL GO TO CONSUMER COURT, INTERNET, MEDIA AND ALSO CREATE NEGATIVITY ABOUT IFB TO EVERYBODY.

                I wish to inform you that yesterday 29.12.2010, i have been returned Rs 2580 by IFB franchisee. I had made complaints to IFB through their website and the email id provided by their call center staff. Also i had written review in MOUTHSHUT and registered a complaint in consumercomplaint.in . MY COMPLAINT HAS BEEN RESOLVED and i would like to thank all concerned.


                Also i would like to inform you that on 27 th of december, i had put extra detergent in the machine by mistake, AND IT AGAIN RESULTED IN SUDS COMING OUT OF DETERGENT TRAY. It further proves that changing the timer has no role in this specific problem. This can only be solved by using the right amount of the detergent in the machine.


                thanks for your response and required action. Also i expect, the training & monitoring of the technicians of the FRANCHISEES, so that these things are not repeated in future with me or any of the customers.

                  purchased IFB-washing machine from Audio Video Electrical centre, Panchkula on 05.09.2008.From day one the machine sounds like ATTA-CHAKKI when on dryer mode. Frequent verbal complaints and subsequent visits by service engineers prooved futile.Finally I lodged a written complaint with the dealer on 25.03.09 and subsequent visit by your service engineer declared it a manufacturing defect on 30.03.09
                  Hence you are requested to replace this defected piece.

                    Our 5kg digital washing machine is showing E7 and stops whenever I try to use from past 12 days. I complained about it on March 21st, my complaint # 2842712. Technician saw the machine and told motor has gone and it should be changed and he has to take it to service center. I requested them to do it as early as poossible. Everyday i am making some 10 calls to them and they keep giving some other mobile no. and ask me to call. When i call that number it says switched off...and again when i called back to the previous number they are saying the next day it will be taken. Till now nobody has come.

                    I am a customer, because unfortunatly I bought an digital IFB washing machine. Last 4 days I was contacting your customercare regarding to shift the machine. Registered the complaint id[protected]. And they promised to come and lock the machine today 3 pm. I cantact your customer service and they not ready come and lock the machine. I already booked the parcel service and lost 1500 . Can u give this cash.
                    I called that stupid fellow Mr. MUKESH (your customer care manager) and he switched off the phone. Don't think customers are fool.
                    hello i think ifb is the no 1 irrresponsile customer care i have bought new washing machine from ifb and they told they will be coming within two within week for demo but they din't do so. after 2 weaks they came and told that some internal error had been occured it will be rectified within two days but they did't come two weeks passed no response from them if it is going on like this i should be proceeding leagaly with the consumercourt

                      My IFB washing machine was purchased on 14/2/2009. On 29/3/2009 while washing the clothes, I heard metallic noise and also foul smell. Hence lodged a complaint at the call centre. On 30/3/2009, the technician by name Vikas appeared and informed me that some wires inside had separated and hence occured a short circuit due to which there was the noise and the smell. In his presence, I had put newly washed clothes for washing but he refused to stay back till the washing is over but promised to come back in an hour as I had not signed the customer call report. However, he didnt re-appear. This happend at about 3.30 pm. During washing of the clothes again same problem occured and hence I put off the main switch as was directed by the technician before he left. Since he didnt come back, I called the service centre, Delight Services ( who are not as per their name). My call was answered by a lady who send she will direct the technician. However, he didnt come. Today morning, I called Mr. Param Yadav who heads Delight Services. He said that since it is 31st March, no technician would be able to attend the call. He would be able to attend only on 1st April after 12.00 noon till 6.30 pm and says he cant co-operate beyond the time. If a customer has to put up to the whims and fancies of the service centre what is customer service? Param Yadav also had the cheek to say that "you can do as you wish" but this is the terms. Is this way a customer is treated or servicing done? I had not expected that when you buy a good and expensive product such as IFB, the servicing is so poor???????? Will the concerned authorities take this into consideration? While I am penning down the complaint, I see that there are 76 complaints in this company. Is the company taking any notice of these complaints?

                        My IFB washing machine Senator 6kg started giving problems of water leakage. I have an AMC for two years from Oct 2008 till Oct 2010. The company technician who attended the complaint claimed that the drum was damaged and wneeded replacement. He also showed us a coin which he claimed he pulled out from the machine. This he said was the customer's fault and therefore I would have to pay for the cost of the drum. This is an obvious scam on the part of the company where rather than replace any parts free of charge as required by the conditions of the AMC, they teach their mechanics to show a coin and tell the customer that the machine is damaged due to the customers negligence. Customers need to be made aware of this and avoid signing an AMC with companies like IFB

                          Myself, Victor Pereira working with Indian Institute of Management-Ahmedabad, as In-charge, Students Activity Office. We had bought 27 washing machines from IFB company in the month of October 2008, we have got ONE year warranty for these machines. Recently there was a problem with one of the washing machine, I registered the complaint on their Toll Free no.[protected] twice in last fifteen days, they have even sent me the written confirmation through SMS, but nobody comes for the repaires. IFB being such huge company, ignores our institute. IIM-A, being such reputed institute in the world, I understand the problem faced by the other customers. I wish they come soon resolve the problem.

                              we have recived one IFB make Washing Machine ( refer above Product Name) on 27/03/2009.
                              For first time demonstration IFB authorised service provider in Chennai( M/s IFB Care) has givenme a Ticket No:2867301. but they are saying they can send their service person on 30th of march 2009.

                              i wnat to know for every customer IFB first time service will be made after 04 days of delivery?

                                I have purchased one IFB Washing machine Digital 5 kg Model manufactured by you through your retail dealer M/s Chellamani&co Chennai -43 Vide bill NoApp/7715 dated18/9/2007.
                                From the date of purchase the washing machine is not working properly and we have been making complained has referred above. For attending the complained there is no proper service center in the madras and kanchepuram Dt. For attending a complained. We have to contact your banglore office who will give cell no of the service engineer number. service engineer not attending the fault immediately but take three or four weeks to visit my house and see the fault.
                                Every time new service engineer attuned the fault and every time they admit the manufacturing defect but they take time to replace the parts are complete the repair. I am not happy with the way in which your service engineers are attending the fault and also function of the washing machine.
                                The history of the fault attend by your service engineer would establish that the washing machine purchased by me suffers from manufacturing defect. The not attending the fault in time and not making the washing machine to function good cause mental agony to me. I have rupees 50000 thousand has compensation for the mental agony suffered by me till date. .
                                I request you to replace the defective washing machine by a new one. Other
                                wise I have to file civil, criminal and consumer cases against you for remedies.
                                Please kindly comply the request with in 7 days from the date of receipt of this notice failing which I have to take legal actions for replacement of machine and for compensation mentioned above.

                                  I have an IFB Washing Machine which has an Annual Maintainance Contract. Machine Model- Excel. Machine Serial No- 096290. Contract com. date- 12/8/2008 Contract Exp Date- 11/8/2009. Iam really fed up regarding their Service center. IFB Helpline[protected]. Atleast 3-4 times, when i have made complaints, their service guys take 2-3 days to respond. If there a serious problem it takes them 4-5 days to take the machine to their service Centre. Complaint no - 2842561, dated 21st March 2009. Their service centre guy came on monday (i.e.23rdMarch 2009) and told me that he would take the washing machine to their service centre on tuesday (i.e.24th March 2009).The persons name was Mr.Mateen [protected]. I have contacted the call centre on 25th march 2009, 26th March 2009.

                                  Iam really fed up & i think IFB must also concentrate on after sales department. I have paid Rs2094 as annual Maintainance, this is what i get for paying this amount.

                                  IFB washing machine bought on 24.03.2008. the machine in the midfdle of the cycle. Attended 25 days after complaint given. But it is stoping in the middle of the cycle for about 10 minutes and then running.Please rectify the problem.
                                  We have complained to IFB helpline no. for attending a problem. i.e. the machine vibrates with loud sound while rinsing and letting out the water. A service person from JS Engineers, Ullagaram at Chennai attended after making several phone calls to the no. provided by the helpline and the service person told that the Drum (Exe) (along with the bearing) has to be replaced. According as per their suggestion, the same was replaced on 23.06.2009 vide Invoice cum receipt No.941 dt.23.06.09 by paying an amount of Rs.3, 927/- But to our surprise and shock, we experienced the same problem after making an expense of around Rs.4, 000/- We request the IFB managment to look into such problems faced by the customers due to inefficient and ill-equiped technicians/franchisees.

                                  We request the IFB to attend to my problem and rectify.

                                      I have a 5 kg digital front load washing machine which makes jerking sound and shows E 7 and stops..my complaint # 2842712. When i complained on 21.03.2009 they sent a technician who said there is problem in motor so it should be changed...after several calls again on 23.03.09 one person came who said machine should be t aken to service center. My machine is giving continuous problems from past 2yrs. Last time when i had same problem few months back they took it to service center and repaired..after that repair digital display doesnot show END after completing washing and the door can be opened easily even when machine is running. Please rectify the problems as early as possible.

                                      Sir, I pruchased the machine during May 08. during the month of Aug (fourth week) the machine was not working and reflecting E-2, I made a complaint thro internet, a guy came from Anna Nagar and replaced the filter. Within one week again the machine was not working and displaying E-7, I made a complaint to the Customer Service No.[protected], my complaint No. is 2203794 dated 20 Sep 2008. Nobody has turndown to ask our problem till this date (ie 30 Sep 08), in between I contacted the customer care service people three times, the are replying that with 48 hrs our people will come to you, but no one has come to repair the same. on 29 Sep 08 & 30 Sep 08, I made a complaint through internet to the IFB, it also went into vein. Please advice, I have to go for consumer forum as well as to media.

                                      IFB Washig machine, Digital 5 Kg — E-7

                                      1. Reference my previous complaint on IFB made on 30 Sep 08.
                                      2. IFB machine purchased during the month of Apr 2008, was stopped working during the month of Aug displaying E-2, that complaint was attended after 5 days and changed the filter unit. Now on 19 Sep 08 the machine again become offroad and displaying E-7. I made the complaint to the customer care service. My complaint No. is 2203794 date 20 Sep 08 and made subsequent complaint thro Internet as well as to IFB customer care service in the No.[protected] and to the nearest IFB Servince Centre in Anna Nagar Chennai on 23 Sep, 25 Sep, 27 Sep, 28 Sep, 29 Sep, 30 Sep and on 01 Oct 08. But still date nobody has attended the complaint. No one asked me regarding that complaint made on 20 Sep. In Chennai City, people like me facing these type of severe problems with IFB Service, What will be the situation of peoples in the Rural Areas who have purchased the IFB machine. Hence plese take necessary action to stop supplying the IFB products in India. Otherwise I have to go for Consumer Forum.

                                      IFB — Digital 5 kg machine showing E 7

                                      Complaint no. 2842712. When I run the washing machine its giving some jerking sound and shows E 7 and the machine stops. Given complaint on 21.03.09. Technician came and checked the machine and said there is motor problem and motor should be changed. Again when i called today a different person came and said machine should be taken to service center and it should be checked. I bought IFB 5 kg digital front load washing machine 2 yrs back and its giving continuous problem. Few months back when i had same problem they rapired it but after repairing the display doesnot show END after completing washing and I can easily open the door when the machine is running which was not so when i bought the machine. please rectify the problem as early as possible as I am facing problem washing clothes with guests at home.

                                        I purchased a Washing M/c ( IFB- ELENA DX ) on 24/08/2008 FROM GHAZIABAD.

                                        WHILE WASHING THE CLOTHES M/C NOT RANSING & DRYING THE CLOTHES PROPERLY.
                                        IT LEAVES DETERGENT IN CLOTHES. CLOTHES ARE ALSO WETY ( NOT FULLY DRY AS PER Co. STANDRED.)

                                        FOLLOWING ARE THE COMPLENTS NO. IN IFB COMPANY.

                                        SINCE 09/01/2009 NO BODY ATTENED MY COMPLENT.

                                        my m/c is under warranty and i also made a payment of 1600/- agst. 2 year extended warrenty.
                                        so now i have 4 Yr. warranty.


                                        So you are kindly requested to pl. resolve my prob.
