SIR,
I am a senior scientist in the Dept. of Atomic Energy.I have been using your washing m/c since past almost 10 yrs.You wont believe that i was so satisfied with your product that i recommended your product to all my relatives and friends and almost 10 people i know who bought your product on my recommendation. So i went for a microwave, though my wife and friends insisted on an LG product but i put my foot down and went for IFB model 30 SC2. BUT ALAS to my utter surprise this particular product has been far below my expectations for the reasons :
1. Its make hell of a noise, so much so, that it gives u a headache and moreover everybody comes to know that something is being microwaved.2.The key pad was bad which was subsequently changed.3.The door switch has to be readjusted as the m/c was not getting started.4.Now the light bulb is flickering.
Ithink, i have become a butt of jokes among my friends as i used to be your unpaid BRAND AMBASSADOR till date BUT i think the time has come to say GOOD BYE to you and your products.

    I have a Supremo washing machine under AMC. The service is supposed to be provided by IFB service center in Malad viz; Ms Amtek Services.

    I first reported the problem in April 08. Since then I have made at least a dozen complaints relating to the SAME problem. Basically there was a problem in the spin cycle of the machine. I still have some of the complaint ref nbrs and these will be on their internal system eg, # 1742462, 1812766, 1838289, 2059557, 2127545, 2369714, 2369744 and now 2554141. There were many more initially which I did not track.

    The center sends incompetent techincians as and when they please. Basically the persons who have attended have no idea what to fix. I insist on them coming on Sat so that I can personally supervise the work but it is of no use. My wife has sent some of them back without letting them attend as they just waste time and go away without any resolution.

    The phone nbrs of the service center 28835997/28839823 are always busy and if available once in a blue moon, no-one picks up the phone. The are manager (Mr Rajesh Vaitye) does not pick up his mobile as has also been confirmed by visiting technicians. The Andheri office nbrs 28470532, 28470528also also remain unanswered.

    For the same complaint at least 10 different persons have visited my house. Many of them have been fired by the company for unethical practices as I have come to know subsequently. I am exposed to all these strangers in my house (security risk). The service center people claim that I am a problematic client since I insist on certain days of service and give them a piece of my mind whenever I can get hold of anyone!!! I also understand that this is the ONLY service centre between Andheri and Kandivali since the last several years - i.e. it is severly overloaded.

    The technicians have replaced multiple parts (softstarter, ball bearings, timer, motor) but to no avail. The company has lost money due to this incompetence of its engineers.

    I was gullible enough to extend my AMC in Aug 08 for 2 years. However there is just no hope. The clothes are now washed by a maid since the machine just does not work. The technicans have turned a somewhat working machine into a non working one.

    I am totally fed up of the company and its service. They have the guts to advertise for new products!

    I wish to know how I can take up this matter and seek appropriate redressal and compensation from IFB.

    HEAD OF EVERY DEPT IN CHAIN SHOULD STOP GIVING THE MOBILE AND TELEPHONE NO TO THE CUSOMER . THEY CAN NOT HIDE THEIR FACE SIMPLY BY PASSING THE NO. AS THE HEAD OF THE CUSTOMER CARE CENTRE.THEY MUST SHOW THE PROFESSIONALISUM TO THEIR SERVICE PROVIDER STAFF AND NOT TO THE CUSTOMER.

      This is to inform you, that nobody has turned up till today. Your Service centre Perfect Cool Services, personnel are only telling lies. Every day in the morning when they are contacted (Jian, Ahsan Mallik... etc.) they assure us that, 100 % today somebody will attend to your problem. I am really fed up with such kind of liars. I request somebody to pleeeeease look into the matter and pull up your lethargic staff and initiate some action from their side.

      This is to inform you that after rigorous follow-up, your person had finally come yesterday to attend the same.



      Yesterday, your person has confirmed that the machine will function properly now. He had suggested to set the machine running idle (without clothes) and has left the place before the entire function was over, assuring me that there won’t be any problem now. Yesterday night, after the function was over, we have switched off the machine. Thereafter, today morning when we tried to open the door to load the clothes for washing, we found that the machine door is locked. This is ridiculous. Now, I think it will take another one month for this problem to get resolved.



      We really wonder whether your technicians are not capable or your spares are of sub-standard quality or the product is only useless???? We haven’t experienced so many problems with any of the branded goods that we own.



      I finally request you to please depute a qualified engineer (along with all the required spares) today evening positively (after 7.30 pm) to resolve the above problem permanently and instruct him to complete the entire wash process (only verbal assurance from his end will not help).



      Please note that we are not ready to wait any further (it is exactly 1 month 11 days that the machine is down) and incase your engineer is not able to repair the machine today, please refund us cost of machine so that we can buy another washing machine of a better brand `which functions’ & `serves the purpose for which it is purchased’ as it is not a luxury item for a working couple like us….it is a necessity.

      Your service person had contacted me on Sun 14th Dec. 2008 around 12 pm (This is for our complaint lodged no. 2413116 dt. 14th Nov. 2008, for which we have been following up practically every day with your call centre) and informed that he is sending his person to fix the faulty motor. I had told him specifically that we will not be available after 6.00 pm. He told me that the person will come at 3.00 pm. The person came at 7.30 pm. when we were on our way out. We told him to come on the next day after 7.30 pm. ie. on Monday 15th Dec. On Monday, the technician gave a call around 6.45 pm. saying that he has come to my place and nobody is there at home. We told him to wait there and rushed home. As per the technician, he was informed by your office to report at 6.00 pm.

      The motor which the technician had brought to replace the faulty motor looked like a used one, and when i enquired with the technician, he mentioned that it was a new motor. On inspection of the motor, i found that the dt. mentioned on the motor was August 8, 2006, which was also pointed out to your mechanic. Still, the mechanic installed the motor and it failed to start. Now, he has promised to visit today or somebody else will come in his place.

      The kind of service we are subject to from IFB is really pathetic. Whenever any major part is replaced, it is but natural that the replacement part should function for another couple of years and not just used as a stop gap arrangement. Here, it doesnt function on the first day itself. I shudder to think, what would have happened if it had worked yesterday and then again stopped working after the mechanic left. How many more followups would have to be done to get the machine in a working condition. What use is the AMC, if it takes months to repair the machine. From the second year itself the machine has started giving problems and is more in an idle condition than in a working condition. The amount of frustration, we are facing after the purchase of the machine is unbearable. Hope somebody will give a thought to this and not penalise us for trusting your product.

      This is in connection with my complaint regarding non-functioning of IFB Washing Machine (Executive Elite).



      Please note that ever since the machine is purchased, it is giving serious trouble. Initially there were small problems which were sorted out during the warranty period. Even your service Engineer Gopal (who has left the firm now), who had come for demonstration was more interested in selling the accessories like trolley, soap etc. rather than giving proper demonstration. Moreover he was not interested in attending the complaints after 6.00 pm. We were really fed up with him.



      Now in May 2008, thinking that atleast AMC (which is a paid service) will be better, we have entered into an AMC Contract with IFB. But regret to say that the service level before the AMC and after the AMC remains the same i.e. it is equally bad. Every time the machine breaks down, we have to make atleast 15-20 calls and the waiting period is minimum 2-3 weeks. We had called Mr.Gopal (in the month of June after complaining & making 15-20 calls) for a break down and found that he wasn't sure of the basics also. Because the connection which he had made were reverse (this was told by my brother who was present at that time, since my brother is an Electronics Engineer). But Gopal was not ready to accept the facts due to ego problem. The very next day we had a problem and the machine was not functioning. He came and again reversed the connection and the machine began to function. I really doubt the quality of your technical personnel !!!



      I feel the washing machine is basically purchase to ease out the washing function on a daily basis. If there is a break down every 6 months and there is no response to the customer complaint, I feel both the product and the customer service is bad. It clearly shows that the Company is not at all doing well because if it takes 3 weeks to procure the spares like Motor, then I think IFB should close down the operation.



      It was on 29th of Nov that the motor replacement was suggested by your Engineer and he had confirmed that the person will come with spare motor on 1st of Dec but today is 9th of Dec, till date no one has turned up neither bothered to call up and inform the status.



      When we called on Saturday 6th of Nov at your call centre again your person has informed us that no spare motor is available so it will be possible to send some one on 8th Dec. Yesterday also no one has turned up. After calling again, we have been asked to lodge the complaint once again and give all the details and they have confirmed that they will send the person today. This is ridiculous and height of negligence on part of IFB.



      We are working people and cannot sit at home waiting for your person to come. I believe your people are not interested in attending calls after 6.00 pm. But since we are working, we are available only after 7.00 pm at home. I have warned your call centre time and again to send the Engineers only after calling, but still they come without notice. Yesterday also when I spoke to your call centre inspite of informing them that the call was not attended since 12th of Nov, they were very casual in their attitude and asked me whether it was possible for them to send the Engineer in the morning (as it is a Bank holiday today). On which I have informed him that we are working today. This shows how much you all care for the customers !!!



      I regret to say that I am highly dissappointed both with your Service Level and also the functioning of the machine. It is very bad and I regret the decision to purchase such an Expensive Machine (when cheaper options were available in the market). I will never recommend this product to anyone in the future. All your promises of customer care seemed to have vanished in air after the product was sold to us. Also regarding the spares, the quality does not meet the basic standards, i.e. the motor was replaced just two weeks before (the Engineer has come on 29th Nov).



      Incase you consider the above views are genuine, you may look into the matter. Incase you feel (after reading this mail) that some one must attend to the above complaint on an urgent basis, you may depute a genuine Engineer, who has thorough technical knowledge, only after 7.00 pm today positively only after calling Mr.Shailesh Mendon ([protected]), failing which I will have no other option but to take serious action against IFB for cheating us with a substandard product.

      executive elite washing machine — repeatedly machine gets water / soap from all parts of the machimeall of a sudden, while running

      the washing machine repeatedly fails, even after service attending, by the water and soap water flowing from all parts of the machine, .
      was attended once or twice, but the problem exists and we are unable to use the machine at all, very frequently. have complained today also, Tkt # 2509310

      executive elite washing machine — NON-ATTENDANCE OF COMPLAINT

      The machine is not functioning since 12 Nov 2008. The product is simply hopeless. I have been facing problems with this machine ever since I have purchased the same. Initially it was under warranty hence the expenses were covered. Now the machine is under AMC and since June 2008 the machine is continously being giving problems. Just about 8-10 days before 12th Nov, after about 15-20 reminders, the engineer has come and replaced the motor and now again on 12th Nov the machine has conked off. Your personnel had come without spares (again after 15-20 reminder calls) and just checked the machine. He has told us that the motor has to be replaced. The machine is totally dead now. Inspite of complaint being registered and reminder mails being sent, no one has attended till date. Your customer care personnel is so very casual in their attitude that despite sending the mails, they have not bothered to attend. This is highly disgusting. Looking at the above sequence of issues, I think both your spares and the quality of service are simply hopeless. I will never suggest this product to anybody and let them suffer like we have. We have repented buying this expensive product when cheaper options were available in the market. My contact no. is [protected].

        I Ravi Ganatra have bought IFB Washing Machine from Ruby Electronics, Rajkot, Gujarat before few months, since 2 months its not working properly, i contacted service center, care taker Mr. Mukesh Gaglani, Contact No.[protected], [protected]. he send some service people and gave complaints that some parts is not working, he has done all excercise to repair washing machine but still its not working and they are now not interested to repair it. kindly guide what can be done and how can you help me. my contact number is[protected]. thanks.

          model ifb delight purchased last year, not working properly, i lodged a complaint so many times, but there is no proper response

          Past 10days my washing machine is not working. Not doing proper washing, strains are remaing, dirty cloths are coming out how i put inside, same it comes out.             I had bought a digital IFB washing m/c 15 months back and since then every month the sevice engineer has to vist my house at least twice to repair it. every month the machine doesn't work for atleast 10 days.

            I would like the company to take back this faulty machine and also would request everyone planning to buy a washing machine to go in for any machoine but IFB

            this is the worst service from IFB customer care through shri kailash enterprises ,valasarakkam , chennai 87 , the washing machine IFB admiral model drain problem was not sorted out with the complaint no11618283 dated 1st aug 2104 and complaint no 11675105 dated on 22nd aug 2014 . please try to solve my machine problem in good working condition regards ramesh babu D [protected] / [protected]

            IFB / fully automatic washing machine — Bad after sales service

            The computerised panel of our washing machine has stopped working and the IFB service guys dont have the replacement part for the last 3 weeks. In the rainy season of Delhi its become a real pain to manage the laundry of the house for 3 weeks now. Inspite of multiple calls and complains there is no respite.

            DIVA washing m/c — worst service

            I had purchased an IFB (Diva Cold) washing machine from a dealer of shop termed as 'Sales Corner' in Vadodara, Gujarat, India on 27th January 2009 at 20:00 hrs. I had received my order on 28th January 2009 at 21:30 hrs. But till now i havent got any one from your company to start the machine as instructed by the owner and it is lying as such at my home and am can not use it for the same purpose. Truly niether the owner of shop (Mr. Jayesh) who is the dealer of your product and niether your company values COSTUMER.
            Please look into the matter.

            I am purchased IFB washing M/c from Vijay sales Vashi. And the same machine have some problems. I approached the Customer care and Vijay Sales, and IFB through telphone and Mail. But sir theydid not resolved my problem yet now. So how can I take this issue to IFB higher authorites against these peoples. Hereby I pasted the contents of my before followups with these proples for your notice. I tried so many times with these peoples by smooth manner to get it resolved. But I could not yet get received proper replies from these peoples.

            I have bought the IFB wshing machine in 2006. The machine is good, but the after sales service is very poor. The service provider (R K International Ashoknagar, Chennai)is Not giving proper service to the customers. If you make a call to the agent they simply said that sir we dont have spares stock.You have cry to get the service from them.
            I have bought an IFB Digital 5.5 kg washing machine on 28th march 2009. Till date, I have registered almost 4-5 tickets for excessive vibration during spin dry. Unfortunately the technician has come to look at the problem and has not been able to solve it. As a lastditch option I have been advised to buy Anti-skid rubber pads ( sold by the franchisee offcourse) to prevent the machine from shiftng due to excessive vibration, but the root cause has not been solved to date. This morning the machine was vibration and two screws came off from the unit and the ring around the machine broke into pieces.
            I am sorry to say that in the past twenty days, since I bought this machine, it has been down almost every alternate day and with no visible sign of repairs, I have to revert back to my old faithfull Videocon semi-automatic machine, for which I did not have to replace a single screw in the last 10 years.

            I am an IFB product user for the past 10 years. I bought a digital front loading washing machine on 06Apr2009 from YOUR chennai office . On 12May2009, it gave a huge noise and I stopped the machine. I made a complaint to your call center - ticket number 3020996.


            Your service engineer Mr Suresh, came on 15May2009 and found that off the 3 screws that needs to keep the stone in place, there was only one. This had come loose while the machine was working. In the bargain the stone came out of its alignment and sheared all the plastic parts inside the machine. This has resulted in the tub alignment going cross,

            along with the motor alignment.



            Since it was 1 month young, I spoke to your call center and your engineer, that I needed a replacement under warranty.

            I spoke to your service leader Mr Nanda also regarding this. He informed me that he would replace the machine.



            Meantime your call center closed the first ticket number. Hence I had to raise another ticket number 3057611 on 22May2009. I have spoken to your following staff on this.

            We registered a complaint on 23 July 2009 and got complaint no3290368 the same day evening at 7.00pm in the mobile.

            No one came for service the next dayor today

            But when we checked up this afternoon it was to our surprise that the ticket is closed saying we were out of station

            It is very disgusting and very difficult to follow through these guys. We tried reching the agency on their landline/ Mobile butin vain

            The IFB Service Centre at Hyderabad, one M.A.Associates is indifferent and manned by a bunch of well dressed plumbers who pretend to be engineers. not one of them can speak English properly or have the brains to respon d to the easiest of situations. We bought an IFB Dish washer and have received very bad and indifferent service thus far. I suggest that no consumer waste their time investing in an IFB Machine. This British company is as stupid and disfunctional as the British Government.

            I purchased one IFB digital washing machine on 30th march of this year unfortunately, it is unfortunate because only after using 1 month (Date of Delivery-03/04/2009 & date of Installation- 23rd or 24th April 2009) o[censored]se the machine started encountering problem.
            The problem being started after 3rd use of the machine as whenever we use to put it in any temperature mode i.e. hot 45 degree, 60 degrees or any other similar type mode after running for certain time the timer in the digital output remained stationary, the problem was noticed in the month of May but we ignored as we referred user manual in which it was written under the head TROUBLE SHOOTING (pg. 22) if “program cycle time delayed/ balance time on the display remains stationary- NOT A FAULT”

            On 6th of June we selected program Function Warm 60 degree Celsius, but after running for continuous 5 hr the program didn’t ended it stuck to 64 min. We informed the servive centre immediately, No action prompted as I did not know that Service is provided by your franchise ‘smart agencies’.

            Getting no reply within 48 hrs we lodged complaint with Customer Care (Complaint No. 3121173) and then started our follow-ups with your Franchisee Service centre and We really didn’t knew how difficult it was to explain them what problem exactly we were facing, Franchisee service engineer visited us for not less than 7-8 times but till date no solution to the problem, Meanwhile your Service engineer also visited my home, every time it is being told to us that some or other parts needed to be changed many of them have already been changed for eg. Timer Relay, Motherboard ETC..

            But till date the machine is continuously encountering problem. It is really so frustrating that though the problem were known to authorised service centre but not a single time feedback was taken by them anytime that whether the machine is running or not, every time we used to contact them and explained that what problem we are still facing. At the time of purchase we never thought that IFB had such poor, Pathetic after sale service though It was told by the dealer during purchase but we were not convinced that time thinking the Reputation of the Brand, but now We made a guilty by purchasing IFB having poorest after sales service in Consumer Durables in India.

            We are really hopeless as we are unable to see any permanent solution to the above, it is already 3 months we are following up but each time ending up in dark speaking to service engineers. Last Time they said that some major parts has come from Goa, and they replace and checked but same problem continues. It is only our bad luck that to have better comfort this chose digital model of your company. GUY also reiterated this series of machine has some manufacturing, so it is better to Replace the machine as the Machine itself problematic from beginning as your Technical Team fails to correct the problem after 7 Trials, So as a consumer I AM CHEATED.

            I've bought new I.F.B machine model SENATOR 6 K.g on 21-08-09 from Gupta Electronics unser Invoice no. 9057 dated 21-8-09.
            Within two days of purchase problems started with the machine and till date has not been taken care off.

            IFB machine is worst as wellas their customer care too.
            IFB is providing Very Poor After Sales Service. It doesn’t keep important spares in their stock for repair of its washing machines. I am totally dissatisfied with it.
            I have procured IFB top loading fully automatic washing machine in Dec’2008 with 4 years guaranty. I am not satisfied with its timer, which covers 27 minutes time on its display actually in more than 35 minutes. The service engineer visited told it as a normal feature.
            It failed working on 10th Sept’2009. I have booked complain no. 3486011 dated 12/09/09. A service engineer visited the machine on 14/09/09, and told it require PCB to replace. In spite of regular follow-up, it could not get repaired in more than 3 weeks i.e. 4th October 2009. I have wasted more than 30 calls till date for follow-up. If this type of service is being provided in warranty, what will happen after warranty ?
            My IFB washing machine is under SENORITA DX and I am in mangalore i had given a complaint on 16, oct, 2009.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine, The manager at bangalore is not even attending the calls.even the person who is incharge in mangalore is not responding to the calls.i am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

            IFB has entered into a service and maintainance contract with me on
            December 2009 for my IFB MIcrowave.The appliance has been malfunctioning and is out of order since the past three months many times. The latest is the PCB which the service technician took away and said would replace it within three days. Over two weeks have passed and now the technician says that the said part is no longer available in the company. The same PCB was malfunctioning since January 2010 ans was repaired easlier under the promise that it would be soon replaced.             This is to inform you that we have IFB washing machine and it is under AMC for next 2 years. I keep getting the digital board issue on my washing machine and we have logged a complaint on 3rd March with IFB service center at Thuraipakkam, Chennai, The complaint number is 6042099, but still no action has been taken from them and no proper response from the help desk. I really dont know what kind of service is providing from IFB and the engineer is not well equipped with the product knowledge.

            IFB HOME APPLIANCES INDIA LTD; — Washing Machine not working

            IFB 6Kg; Digital washing Machine, still in warrenty Period, is not been rectified off the dcomplaint given on[protected]. The machine, after running for some time shows fault E-06 on the digital disply. On checking the Coin Trap no material found in the coin trap. Even after cleaning the coin trap, and run the machine as directed in the user manual, the machine stops after running for some time. Particularly, the machine does not work in the 'spin' mode. Even after complainig many times the company does not care to send a knowldegable service personel and rectify the machine. This resulted in mounting of cloths for washinig in my house. We had to wash some cloths by hand for urgent need. I need immediate attending of the machine by the service people of the company and rectify the machine, so that the cloths waiting for wash foe more than 20days be washed immediatly.

            sir I had a ifb washing machine elena for 8 yearssince I had frequently encountered problems and the service center were not prompt in atteding the complaints
            I had to buy a new one ifb ergo angular version purchased from ifb point koyembedu chennai few days ago, when the engineers opened the pack the plug point was broken and the warranty card and the operator manual was missing,
            I asked the show room person he replied he is only a salesman appointed by the company and gave a irresponsible answer

            i purchased a dishwasher naptune dx on 09.11.2012 sale order no 4571118, challan no [protected] dt 9.11.2012 to put mc on dhanteras . the mc was delivered on right time but could not install by engg upto jan'2013. after regular follow up the dare to come and purchased some items of rs 2700.00 . as m/c started the m/c got leakage from base and all items got wasted. they even not checked the m/c and asking for repairing cost. i denied to pay and complaint to local office so somehow change the m/c after one month. they provided new m/c and opened by the engg which is also broken from up side. we made a complaint again this local office not responding on no [protected], [protected]. i made again on 16/03/2013 with no 10376597 on toll free with a request to start m/c atleast before before holi otherwise we r force to go before court and ask for refund of our money .

            the worst customer service provider, I have purchased a washing machine EXE VX 8kg on 3/3/2013 the machine is vibrating in the spin cycle - complained to the installation technician after 1st use, asked to check with second wash and then inform him and give a complain to the customer care call number - complain no: 10589326 dated 22 /3/ 2013 service promised within 24 hrs. reminder given on 23rd morning no service given as promised, the service center says cannot be attended after I called at 6pm will see if it can be attended on MONDAY, Call center called - informed, same reply cannot do any thing only can be attended on Monday, that too with no guarantee that it shall be attended, this is the commitment of the company to its customers, can they dare to do this any where in Europe or USA, No they cannot they are taking the INDIAN consumer for a ride. I regret buying this machine already will the company wake up and start giving service to its customers. all the customers need to get together and sue this company for non service and get their money back with interest by going to the consumer forum in each city and, make them take their faulty machines back and return the money wit interest and for the mental stress & harassment they have caused.

            The RUBBER PART of our washing machine DELUXE SUPREMO has stopped working and the IFB service guys don't have the replacement part for the last 3 weeks.

            Finally yesteryear the mechanic form the company came with rubber part, fixed it, but didn't take pain to start the machine even after taking the full payment - thought the power had come before he left the place. Moreover the mechanic with little more IQ could have - during the interim period - easily fixed the rubber part by 'clamping' the hose to spare us from avoidable harassment and would have brought good name to IFB but i believe he is trained to replace & not repair.

            Ever-since yesterday, I have been calling Mr Harkirat Singh Mob no [protected]/5045088 but they are coming out with one excuse or the other and have told me that the Engr is out of city. And now they have stopped even attending my calls l!!

            Inspite of multiple calls and complains there is no respite.
            IFB Company washing machine is ex lent if we compare with others no body can give more than five years spare part suport. just you can ask them any company can give after five years spare suport in writing. but ifb is giving 10 years spare suport in writing and 4 years 100% waranty on all parts with ruber ports also
            ifb have four milion customers. who god good service they never post comment. but some customer who got late sarvice he post comment.

            My complaint no[protected] dated 29.12.2015 on IFB washing machine which was affected by the recent rains in chennai. Yesterday ( 06.01.2016 ) the technician from Shri Kailash Enterprises visited our home, inspected and said that the motor has jammed and has to be replaced at my cost ( Approx Rs 3500 less 10% discount ). I was totally surprised to hear the same since my unit is currently under AMC which takes care of motor, tub, drum, PCB, pumps electronic components and other mechanical components.
            In my opinion due to authorised service agency is cheating the customers by charging cost of components which are covered in AMC.

              I have 2 washing machines of IFB and having AMC contract with a IFB dealer. He was very nice when started. After that that person stated refusing complains and I have to request (like I am not his customer but a beggar!!!)

              I have done complained on 31-08-08 having nos.
              1614114 and 1614119

              Which is still pending in their records and my both machines are not working at all.

              After that I have complained again on 18-11-08 having complained No. 2434426 but as again no result.

              Now I would like to ask you these things that if a IFB costumer is not getting service in 4 months, what type of steps I expect from company. This is a height of all that none of company officer is in mood to help a good costumer.

              I would like to request you for this all complains and please please take a feed back of this service agent and also your technical department and sells department who is still sleeping and not at all in active stage.

                  Purchased at Hyderabd vide Bill No: A6450IN/S.No.INA8150523
                  few months back. IFB Micro Oven H.P.Pavilion E.C.Model. Brought to Tirupati and used just for one month. The operating Buttons are not working. The service engineer at Tirupati (Srinivas: [protected]) as per Service Center incharge: Bhaskar Rao[protected] removed the panel and sent it for repair about 20 days back to Hyderabad. Till date the same is not received by the Service Center, Tirupati (A.P). There is no proper response from the Service Centre.

                  THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION THAN FILING A CASE BEFORE THE CONSUMER FORUM : TIRUPATI.

                  Kindly pursue the same and see that the panal is returned
                  to the Service Centre Tirupati after rectifying the defect
                  immediately.

                    DIGITAL 6KG — REPLACING DRUM

                    Sir, I am Senthil Ramesh residing in Tenkasi, Tamilnadu. I bought one digital 6 kg model two years back. In the close of warrenty period we met a problem in our machine. We lodged a complaint with our tirunelveli service centre. They sent their boys and they found there were some mistakes in drum.Then they replaced the drum, That is not fit for our model. After that they replaced another drum which was also not fit for the machine.Then they left our house with a promise to bring a suitable drum for this model.We didnt get it till date.More than one month our machine is under repair. When we contacted the service centre they promised to rectify.Kindly do the needful service as it is a vacation periood and we are expecting guest.We once again hope on you to rectify our problem quickly.

                    Remember, we are the very old customer of IFB and so far we have not met any problem in our product. This is the first and we hope to be the last one.

                    IFB-Washing Machine-Digital-6Kg — Unattended complaints in AMC

                    I had a digital 6kg IFB washing machine and it is under AMC contract from the begining. I registered a complaint wide comp. no 3476736 on 10th september,2009. Inspite of so many reminders at the companies customer care number no one has attended the complaint or called for it till 14th sept.. Company while doing the AMC make a claim that it will be attended in 24 hrs. So there is no use of doing the AMC's when coplaints are going unattended.

                      I fully agree with Mr. Deshmukh. I am also suffer same problem since 31/12/2008. I have given complaint to call centre my complaint is 2568798 till today not attended by service centre. They have my both landline &cell no. with them, i request their call centre & service centre Pl call me on my cell no. and visit my resi. because we both are working, but purposely Global services person call on our landline no. and give reason as not responded the party. They don't have even rate card with their person, so they charge us as per co. rate or their own rate i am confuised. Your office address for complaint not avaliable. I think you blacmail your customer after purchasing your product because your machines part not avaliable in any Electrical shop or your machine is not repaired by any person so customer is beggar in your account. Your company is international and you give such type of services to your customer is shameful for your side.If you do not give jusitice to me, i would take up this issue in press. My machine is 8years old & not in your contract. Every customer is in pain which means you are helpless towards your service centre.

                      I received your SMS on 10/01/2009, my complaint is resolved thanks for that, but harresment for every call from your service centre after paying sizeable service charge s. This means customer when purchase your product, you sell harresment to your customer through your service centre. It is offence because when your products spare parts not avaliable in market that time your moral duty to give service to your customer in given time. (time frame made by you means 48 hrs.) if they fell to give services in your frame time punished to your service centre with decrease theire payment or withdraw their service centre and appoint new one. There are many person in hunt of job or bussiness opportunity, definetily your company name is in limelight with good after sales service provider.When i am using this of language just understand the gravity of harresment. I except ans.on my e-mail.

                        My name is Picasso, I purchased the IFB washing machine in December 15, 2008 at Delhi (Okhla-Head office), i am waiting for installation for one week but still not installed and nobody turned up from the company in spite of the repeated request to the help line, no service persons are attending the machine, The manager at Okhla and Rohini is not even attending the calls. I am not able to understand the reasons for this casual attitude. I am surprised that no higher officials even bothered to take any action! I can't expect such a minute negligence from SUCH A BIG AND RENOWNED COMPANY!
                        I am still waiting for the initial orientation demo . This is making me wonder how you will take care of after sales service with this kind of staff.

                        IFB WASHING MACHINE — Machine not installed for one week after purchased

                        I have purchased a IFB washing machine on 14 Mar 2009. in Chennai, and was told installation will be done on Monday 16th Mar. The techenician contacted by phone and asked for purchase of stand, cover etc. it was told we don't need now, since then he has made 5 calls but till now they have not come for the installation. It shows that if you buy all accessories from IFB installation will be done immediately, this is a wrong attitute and bussiness culture.

                        There is no father / mother of IFB washing machines sold in the indian market. I had purchased a machine and thereafter I have not been able to find anyone for after sales service at Ahmednagar. The dealer says he has no more any dealing with the IFD. It is a pathitic situation. If someone of the company can resolve this problem can contact me at [protected].
                        I purchased IFB washing machine on 06/06/09, I am waiting for installation for four days but still not installed and nobody turned up from the company in spite of the repeated request to the help line, no service persons are attending the machine, The manager at Kollam is not even attending the calls.I am not able to understand the reasons for this casual attitude.So I request you to attend the above case at the earliest.
                        You should be lucky. For me it was installed 40 days after purchase

                        I have been making follow ups to IFB service center through toll free numbers as our machine is not working for 8 days. The complaint was registered after 3 days . Even after 6 days the complaint has not been attended.. This is only sell and sell attitude. We acnt recommend any one to buy IFB machnes for such a poor service network. This is ridiculous that such a company like IFB is not able to provide service in 24 Hrs.

                          Have been chasing since time of buying from IFB Point an IFB clothes dryer for a lint cover. For the initial six months there were six repairs carried out. The mechanic tore the lint cover and repeated attempts to get one have failed. Have tried their service centre and it is perpetually not available. One cannot use the machine without a lint cover.
                          The large investment that I have made has been lying worthless.

                            IFB / MaxiDry — no response to service

                            With regards to MaxiDry, I have made a complaint on 19th of May 2009 (ID[protected] which was finally attended on 20th August 2009.

                            The tech concluded after checking that the bush needs to be replaced and confirmed to come the next day to change.

                            Next day people from IFB calls saying that the dryer needs to be taken to the workshop for replacing the part.

                            They collected the dryer on 21st August 2009 promising to return in 2days.

                            I STILL HAVEN'T GO T MY DRYER BACK.

                            I also registered a complaint on the 14th of September (ID[protected]

                            No response from you whatsoever.

                            My predicament clearly implies you are not in control of the situation. It is very sad, that in this day and age your service, even when the product is in warranty is atrociously poor.

                            Pls look into this matter effectively, and would also like to hear the measures you have taken to right this wrong.

                            I was a proud owner of IFB appliances(I even own an IFB washing machine) until i faced the above situation.

                            I hope you are in receipt of my mail dated Mon, Sep 21, 2009 at 11:13 AM.

                            I also called your customer service seeking to sort out this matter.

                            The customer service promised to call back with some clarity later in the day and kept their promise.

                            They called and held a conference call with the people who had taken my dryer for part replacement.

                            The man verified my name and phone number and said hell will get back to me in 10minutes. Acknowledging this conversation the customer service further reiterated that the service manager will sort out the issue.

                            Later I get a call from the service department and she tells me I would get the dryer in 3 days time. I refuse to accept it at ask her in turn ‘do you know when the dryer was taken from me’ for which she claims she doesn’t.

                            I then ask her to return my dryer and take it when the part is available.

                            She discusses with someone and comes on line and tells me, that they would send it in the morning.

                            Now the morning has passed and the day is ending and I still do not have my dryer.

                            I don’t know how to express my frustrations, I’m totally, totally frustrated, there is not even a reply or an acknowledgement from you either.

                            God help me

                            consumer no 2611084.i bought a IFB dryer on12.12.2010.it is got repair two times besides its shame as its newone (who knows).I complain the customercare on 15.02.2011. they are not responding properly.but they proudly says 4years warranty .why couldn't they produce goodone half of its warranty? so very poor quality and poor response.

                              my washing machine vibrating heavy while spinning with 800rpm speed. these was informed to ur service person. As per them its quite common nothing can be done. as per him machine kept in ifb authorised stand which having roller and fixed stand option. but still we have same problem and vibration is so high that machine coming out from stand. please look into these matter and give me replay as early as possible.

                                I am very satisfied customer of your washing machine IFB washing machine Supremo 5.5 kg which has never given me any trouble so far, however, a couple of days ago my washing machine door got stuck.
                                I had booked a complaint No 2532100 dt 18 Dec 08 after the machine door locked and could not be opened. Your mechanics were prompt in reporting to resolve the issue, however, they lacked the expertise to solve the problem and were prepared to break open the door/lock at my cost.
                                Request you to send some qualified Engineer who can figure out the locking mechanism and open the lock without any damage to the washing machine or its door. my address is

                                  2 ) IFB has outsourced service to a company named ” Silicon India “. Thus IFB as a company does not want to show any ownership for your problems.

                                  3 ) The ” Silicon India ” guys have no skills. Often after lot of followup / reminders even if they visit your home, will be without tools, without spares.
                                  Will diagnose wrongly, open things one by one unnecessarily and will only try to change most costly parts.

                                  4) The silicon India guys do not carry any identity cards. Once 2 guys came to my home in the evening DRUNK. I complained to Silicon India, IFB and TVSe Chennai.
                                  No action or apology from any one was reported ever.

                                  I have a problem with my IFB Executive Plus (which I am using for the past 8 years) I am really satisfied
                                  with your Washing Machine. My problem is with your customer care department.
                                  I called your Customer care office in Bangalore (Toll free Number [protected]) and lodged a complaint
                                  on the 11th July & COMplaint number is 3242221. I called them couple of times and the same recorded
                                  information like we informed the concerned department and will be in touch with you shortely.With my
                                  constant call with your customer care department, on the 14th July ie: today I spoke to Mr Jitesh
                                  I think he is your customer care in charge from bangalore, promised to take some action within an
                                  hours time, and arranged one of your technician Mr Vijesh, who attended my case with half an hour.
                                  It took 4days to send someone to get my job done. All I am asking is to be very frank with the
                                  customers.Say what date and time they can (a specificc date and time ) rather than dragging for long, My be one day 2 day or ex number of day . Give us a date and make sure your are there to help
                                  the customer.
                                  Mr Vijesh ( from Kannur)was very helpful and he is a real professional and he gave little tips of regular
                                  troubleshooting of the machine, before calling the customer care.
                                  Please congratulate Mr VIJESH on behalf me for the JOB WELL DONE, and I am very pleased
                                  with his service.

                                  My compalint no. - 3528064 is registered with service centre 1 month ago. just display board is to be replaced. what kind of service is provided by company like IFB. this is just going to hit ur company's image in future if IFB will not see towards customer care. service centre is just making excuses since one month that we don't have display board. I ask you to seek in to the matter or I will file a complaint in cunsumer court againt IFB company.

                                    i am having a AMC for the machine still every visit of engineer costs me no less that 2000 INR
                                    last time the motor was replaced on friday 12th of december 13th machine broke down again .we informed the representative who came to collect faulty motor on sunday the 14th december 2008 .
                                    he promised to be back on monday 15th .since 16th have been calling on the number[protected] very time recording my tel number [protected] and [protected].your answering machine replies in evening that someone will contact between 8 -10 am it replies so in the morning too and in afternoon too. somehow the confidence in IFB is waning

                                    I have bought a new washing m/c elena dx serial no.65296 from prince & co.chengalpattu on 23/09/2009 and a person fro IFB came to my house on 29/06/2009 for demo . Once he left we put the first washing load and within 10 min we found it is not working I have made a complaint to customer care on 30/09/2009 morning by complaint no.3529769 but even after several reminder only in evening a technician has come and repaired and he left. Again within half an hour m/c total power has gone so we again informed to customer care as well as their sr. technician Mr parthosarthy and technician Mr balachandra . But all the things gone into vein as new machine is not at all working and their customer care people not bother even to see the customer complaint as whether works are being carried out or not .Since neither they are affected nor they have been paid directly by the customer and it is luck of the customer that the machine which you bought if is working OK otherwise be ready to suffer like me.

                                    Please refer the enclosed letter dated April 12, 2010 & October 2, 2010. Our pathetic experience keeps continuing till date. Is this the punishment every IFB user suffering worldwide? Same sort of severe vibrations with heavy metallic hitting sound started on 19/02/2011 & washing stopped in between. Needless to say balance washing was completed manually.

                                    Complaint to rectify the problem was made at Pondicherry office to Mr.Vinoth (Ph. No: [protected]) on 21/02/2011 & he directed us to Chennai (Ph No: [protected]) & we were given the Complaint No: 5198263. Following this a Mechanic came on 22/02/2011 & after checking the washing machine he complained that a shock absorbing spare part failed & the same to be replaced. Then there was no response from IFB service side as usual. We called Pondicherry and Chennai office on 28/02/2011 & we were told the old Complaint Number is closed & received a new Complaint No: 5993049. My question here is without rectifying the problem, on what basis old complaint number: 5198263 were closed?

                                    With the new Complaint No: 5993049, we called Ph:[protected] & one by name Ms.Saranya attended on behalf of IFB. She deputed a Technician on 02/03/2011 with the spare part to replace the failed. The Technician told us that the spare part is chargeable but whereas our Warrantee card says that we are covered from 29/12/2008 to 28/12/2012. The technician directed us to the stock office (Ph:[protected], Mr.Dinesh) and he confirmed 4 Years warrantee for our machine and he instructed the Technician to change the failed part at free of cost. But the Technician refused him and he told that he will come back after taking instructions from his office and left without attending the machine. From that time till date we are regularly calling the Pondicherry & Chennai office but nothing seen in action. Since 19/02/2011 our washing machine is not working & we are manually washing. My mother stated developing severe allergy in her hands & we are incurring huge expenses to get Dermatologist Consultation & Medicines. I and my family members had suffered enough because of frequent failure of your machine. Due to repeated failure of the washing machine we have been now forced to employ a washing maid who is unnecessarily costing us extra. Many a times we were not able to get our soiled dress and linen done on time. We at home are now suffering severe mental and cost pressure because of repeated failure of the washing machine.

                                    This clearly shows how your organization is unorganized and least bothered for its client’s pain & pressure. With these we lost our peace of mind and hopes we had on IFB Washing Machines. We are totally frustrated with the performance of your machine and we seek for suitable compensation at the earliest. We do not intend to continue with the same machine and so please make suitable compensations accordingly.

                                    I’ve identified few more IFB washing machine users experiencing the same or more problems. We have planned to conduct a Press Meet & Press Release on 30/03/2011 to expose our bad experiences & problems encountered with IFB Washing Machine & the worst after sales service.

                                      IFB / Microwave — Defective Microwave

                                      I bought a Brand New IFB microwave on 8th July-08. I called IFB executive for the demo when i discovered that the machine is not working only. Executive guided me to book a complaint again at the call center stating non functionning of machine. After numerous call's and reminders a technician visited me and removed a part ( motor) from the machine and assured me of comming back with the new sparepart (motor) the next day. I still continue calling service center relegiously everyday and am getting a response of getting machine either re-placed or corrected the sameday . Nothing has moved till date and problem remains unresolved.
                                      The original camplaint was lodged on 21st of Aug and its been these many days and the issue has not been resolved.

My availability at home is after 7.30 or on Sunday, the people are not ready to give demo during this time.Yesterday, I came earlier at 6.30 & called Croma, but they did not come. This problem is not at other retail shops.

                                      the more than that in that pack we got an gift voucher worth of Rs.2000.for micro oven.the information has been given and shown to ur dealer and our shp M/S.sri rama agencieis.kotagummam, rajahmundry.
                                      on the day ur dealer and executive Mr, sai promised me to arrange the benifit.

                                      I purchased a IFB microwavemodel 20DC2 on[protected] from Priya Electronics, Pimpri, Pune - 411017. The main reason for selection of IFB was it's brand and service quality.
                                      From the day I bought the microwave I was not satisfied with it's heating and roasting. I am confident that there is some issue with my microwave heating and roasting. I called IFB helpdesk / service center multiple times and registered the complains.                                       Even after regrous follow-up with IFB helpdesk for the resolution of my complaint, I never received satifactory response neither from IFB helpdesk nor from the local service center. Its very unfortunate that IFB is not maintaining the quality of their products. Based on my experience so far with IFB, I have decided not to purchasde any product of IFB in future. Learning from my experiences may of my friends have also banned purchasing prducts of IFB. If IFB continues to manufacture such poor quality products, it will soon be thrown out of the market where their is already a huge compition and multiple brands available for selection to the customers.

                                      Request you to please refund back my money along with the interest and take back the defective microwave at the earliest.

                                      IFB Microwave — Sleeping IFb over my complaint.

                                      My microwave 25SCI is not working since 22 December 2009. I registered the complaint on the same day and the complaint number is 3904861. The service centre owner, Mr. Vikas Asthana says that he is helpless as the company is not providing them with the part required for the microwave. The regional head Mr. Akshay promises to help but never helps. This microwave was bought on 25 February 2005 for Rs 12500 and has broken down three times since then and we are suffering from lack of service since then.

                                      IFB Microwave — Microwave not working - no resolution

                                      We had lodged a complaint with IFB customer care centre on 12th Aug 2010 regarding some problem in our Microwave. However, no body either contacted nor visited our residence to attend the complaint. We have contacted your customer care centre three times again and reminded them about the poor service. We were again consoled and given one number of your so called service centre, to whom we tried to contact over phone on 2nd Sep and 3rd Sep but everytime we tried, it was intentionally disconnected by the person present there.


                                      We trusted IFB and brand and expected excellent after sales service but it is disgusting and disappointing to get so worst service that no one ever bothered to call us back after lodgement of complaint on 12.08.2010.

                                      It is really disheartening to note that IFB Company officials have not taken enough care to find out that whether customer’s grievance has been addressed or the complaint is attended or not. Not even the emails has been acknowledged as yet by your Company.



                                      The complaint was lodged on 12.08.2010 for the IFB Microwav, Model No. 25 SC2, purchased by me from Delhi and I have been continuously following up for its redressal. I had spoken to customer care centre around 20 times and also contacted higher officials of the Company i.e. Ms. Amreen (Mobile No: [protected]) and Mr. Sheshank (Mobile No. [protected]) to get the problem solved in the Microwave. After so much follow up, one person called on around 10 days back at our residence and came with a loose old used spare part to replace it with the faulty part, for which we have not agreed and told him to bring a fresh, sealed and Company’s genuine spare part. He assured to do the same and never turned up. We are really fed up with the lack luster kind of approach of the Company for not taking care of compalints and poor after sales service and no serious thought is given to the customer complaints.



                                      We have paid an amount of Rs.2280/- vide cheque towards AMC charges and same has since been encashed by the Company and your company has failed to provide any service to me.
