Have been chasing since time of buying from IFB Point an IFB clothes dryer for a lint cover. For the initial six months there were six repairs carried out. The mechanic tore the lint cover and repeated attempts to get one have failed. Have tried their service centre and it is perpetually not available. One cannot use the machine without a lint cover.
The large investment that I have made has been lying worthless.

    POOR SERVICE QUALITY(My Ticket No is[protected]

    IN SPITE OF LODGING SEVERAL COMPLAINTS, COMPANY WAS UNABLE TO REPAIR THE MACHINE PROPERLY. THE WARRANTY PERIOD IS NOT YET EXPIRED. I have been calling daily to IFB call centre and they give me new ticket nos. But to my surprise it is one of the worst appliance company i have come across. I am regretting my decision to stick to IFB. I called up thier Mumbai Office too but there was no response.Pls don't do same mistake by buying IFB Products...Srinath Reddy-ANANTAPUR.

    IFB / MaxiDry — no response to service

    With regards to MaxiDry, I have made a complaint on 19th of May 2009 (ID[protected] which was finally attended on 20th August 2009.

    The tech concluded after checking that the bush needs to be replaced and confirmed to come the next day to change.

    Next day people from IFB calls saying that the dryer needs to be taken to the workshop for replacing the part.

    They collected the dryer on 21st August 2009 promising to return in 2days.

    I STILL HAVEN'T GO T MY DRYER BACK.

    I also registered a complaint on the 14th of September (ID[protected]

    No response from you whatsoever.

    My predicament clearly implies you are not in control of the situation. It is very sad, that in this day and age your service, even when the product is in warranty is atrociously poor.

    Pls look into this matter effectively, and would also like to hear the measures you have taken to right this wrong.

    I was a proud owner of IFB appliances(I even own an IFB washing machine) until i faced the above situation.

    I hope you are in receipt of my mail dated Mon, Sep 21, 2009 at 11:13 AM.

    I also called your customer service seeking to sort out this matter.

    The customer service promised to call back with some clarity later in the day and kept their promise.

    They called and held a conference call with the people who had taken my dryer for part replacement.

    The man verified my name and phone number and said hell will get back to me in 10minutes. Acknowledging this conversation the customer service further reiterated that the service manager will sort out the issue.

    Later I get a call from the service department and she tells me I would get the dryer in 3 days time. I refuse to accept it at ask her in turn ‘do you know when the dryer was taken from me’ for which she claims she doesn’t.

    I then ask her to return my dryer and take it when the part is available.

    She discusses with someone and comes on line and tells me, that they would send it in the morning.

    Now the morning has passed and the day is ending and I still do not have my dryer.

    I don’t know how to express my frustrations, I’m totally, totally frustrated, there is not even a reply or an acknowledgement from you either.

    God help me

    IFB MAXIDRYER — NO RESPONSE

    consumer no 2611084.i bought a IFB dryer on12.12.2010.it is got repair two times besides its shame as its newone (who knows).I complain the customercare on 15.02.2011. they are not responding properly.but they proudly says 4years warranty .why couldn't they produce goodone half of its warranty? so very poor quality and poor response.

      sir,

      my washing machine vibrating heavy while spinning with 800rpm speed. these was informed to ur service person. As per them its quite common nothing can be done. as per him machine kept in ifb authorised stand which having roller and fixed stand option. but still we have same problem and vibration is so high that machine coming out from stand. please look into these matter and give me replay as early as possible.

        I am very satisfied customer of your washing machine IFB washing machine Supremo 5.5 kg which has never given me any trouble so far, however, a couple of days ago my washing machine door got stuck.
        I had booked a complaint No 2532100 dt 18 Dec 08 after the machine door locked and could not be opened. Your mechanics were prompt in reporting to resolve the issue, however, they lacked the expertise to solve the problem and were prepared to break open the door/lock at my cost.
        Request you to send some qualified Engineer who can figure out the locking mechanism and open the lock without any damage to the washing machine or its door. my address is

          No service exists ! IFB guys have no customer focus. They are not helping, nor concerned about any problem of yours.

          Summary ( Observations )

          1 ) The complains recorded in Call centre is NOT tracked for closure. In many cases the calls are closed without visiting the customer at all.
          ~

          2 ) IFB has outsourced service to a company named ” Silicon India “. Thus IFB as a company does not want to show any ownership for your problems.
          ~

          3 ) The ” Silicon India ” guys have no skills. Often after lot of followup / reminders even if they visit your home, will be without tools, without spares.
          Will diagnose wrongly, open things one by one unnecessarily and will only try to change most costly parts.
          ~

          4) The silicon India guys do not carry any identity cards. Once 2 guys came to my home in the evening DRUNK. I complained to Silicon India, IFB and TVSe Chennai.
          No action or apology from any one was reported ever.
          ~

          5 ) The Silicon India mechanics are more interested in ” personal business “. As soon as they see a customer without Annual maintenance contract, they will propose if they can try to solve the problem

          ” privately “.

          The skill level is same, that is ZERO. And thus one by one will replace the Motor, cards, pump whatever and keep charging money. The sole aim is to take away all good parts and sell somewhere else, and put other old parts in the machine.
          ~

          6 ) IFB has only 3 mechanics for remaining part of Karnataka. The IFB Bangalore Manager and Assistant Manager never could send those guys to my home even after several followups for my problems. The standing excuse is that these 3 guys are out of station. Even though they promise to inform me or call back, they never called back.

          7 ) No training is provided to all these mechanics for new models such as Digital models.
          ~

          8 ) The spare parts are very costly, not available in open market and thus IFB fleece the customer very badly.

          Attn Manager Customer care/ Marketing Manager/Manager Kannur Branch,
          I have a problem with my IFB Executive Plus (which I am using for the past 8 years) I am really satisfied
          with your Washing Machine. My problem is with your customer care department.
          I called your Customer care office in Bangalore (Toll free Number [protected]) and lodged a complaint
          on the 11th July & COMplaint number is 3242221. I called them couple of times and the same recorded
          information like we informed the concerned department and will be in touch with you shortely.With my
          constant call with your customer care department, on the 14th July ie: today I spoke to Mr Jitesh
          I think he is your customer care in charge from bangalore, promised to take some action within an
          hours time, and arranged one of your technician Mr Vijesh, who attended my case with half an hour.
          It took 4days to send someone to get my job done. All I am asking is to be very frank with the
          customers.Say what date and time they can (a specificc date and time ) rather than dragging for long, My be one day 2 day or ex number of day . Give us a date and make sure your are there to help
          the customer.
          Mr Vijesh ( from Kannur)was very helpful and he is a real professional and he gave little tips of regular
          troubleshooting of the machine, before calling the customer care.
          Please congratulate Mr VIJESH on behalf me for the JOB WELL DONE, and I am very pleased
          with his service.

          My compalint no. - 3528064 is registered with service centre 1 month ago. just display board is to be replaced. what kind of service is provided by company like IFB. this is just going to hit ur company's image in future if IFB will not see towards customer care. service centre is just making excuses since one month that we don't have display board. I ask you to seek in to the matter or I will file a complaint in cunsumer court againt IFB company.

            i am having a AMC for the machine still every visit of engineer costs me no less that 2000 INR
            last time the motor was replaced on friday 12th of december 13th machine broke down again .we informed the representative who came to collect faulty motor on sunday the 14th december 2008 .
            he promised to be back on monday 15th .since 16th have been calling on the number[protected] very time recording my tel number [protected] and [protected].your answering machine replies in evening that someone will contact between 8 -10 am it replies so in the morning too and in afternoon too. somehow the confidence in IFB is waning

            I have bought a new washing m/c elena dx serial no.65296 from prince & co.chengalpattu on 23/09/2009 and a person fro IFB came to my house on 29/06/2009 for demo . Once he left we put the first washing load and within 10 min we found it is not working I have made a complaint to customer care on 30/09/2009 morning by complaint no.3529769 but even after several reminder only in evening a technician has come and repaired and he left. Again within half an hour m/c total power has gone so we again informed to customer care as well as their sr. technician Mr parthosarthy and technician Mr balachandra . But all the things gone into vein as new machine is not at all working and their customer care people not bother even to see the customer complaint as whether works are being carried out or not .Since neither they are affected nor they have been paid directly by the customer and it is luck of the customer that the machine which you bought if is working OK otherwise be ready to suffer like me.

            IFB WASHING MACHINE — Repeated Failure

            Please refer the enclosed letter dated April 12, 2010 & October 2, 2010. Our pathetic experience keeps continuing till date. Is this the punishment every IFB user suffering worldwide? Same sort of severe vibrations with heavy metallic hitting sound started on 19/02/2011 & washing stopped in between. Needless to say balance washing was completed manually.

            Complaint to rectify the problem was made at Pondicherry office to Mr.Vinoth (Ph. No: [protected]) on 21/02/2011 & he directed us to Chennai (Ph No: [protected]) & we were given the Complaint No: 5198263. Following this a Mechanic came on 22/02/2011 & after checking the washing machine he complained that a shock absorbing spare part failed & the same to be replaced. Then there was no response from IFB service side as usual. We called Pondicherry and Chennai office on 28/02/2011 & we were told the old Complaint Number is closed & received a new Complaint No: 5993049. My question here is without rectifying the problem, on what basis old complaint number: 5198263 were closed?

            With the new Complaint No: 5993049, we called Ph:[protected] & one by name Ms.Saranya attended on behalf of IFB. She deputed a Technician on 02/03/2011 with the spare part to replace the failed. The Technician told us that the spare part is chargeable but whereas our Warrantee card says that we are covered from 29/12/2008 to 28/12/2012. The technician directed us to the stock office (Ph:[protected], Mr.Dinesh) and he confirmed 4 Years warrantee for our machine and he instructed the Technician to change the failed part at free of cost. But the Technician refused him and he told that he will come back after taking instructions from his office and left without attending the machine. From that time till date we are regularly calling the Pondicherry & Chennai office but nothing seen in action. Since 19/02/2011 our washing machine is not working & we are manually washing. My mother stated developing severe allergy in her hands & we are incurring huge expenses to get Dermatologist Consultation & Medicines. I and my family members had suffered enough because of frequent failure of your machine. Due to repeated failure of the washing machine we have been now forced to employ a washing maid who is unnecessarily costing us extra. Many a times we were not able to get our soiled dress and linen done on time. We at home are now suffering severe mental and cost pressure because of repeated failure of the washing machine.

            This clearly shows how your organization is unorganized and least bothered for its client’s pain & pressure. With these we lost our peace of mind and hopes we had on IFB Washing Machines. We are totally frustrated with the performance of your machine and we seek for suitable compensation at the earliest. We do not intend to continue with the same machine and so please make suitable compensations accordingly.

            I’ve identified few more IFB washing machine users experiencing the same or more problems. We have planned to conduct a Press Meet & Press Release on 30/03/2011 to expose our bad experiences & problems encountered with IFB Washing Machine & the worst after sales service.

              IFB / Microwave — Defective Microwave

              I bought a Brand New IFB microwave on 8th July-08. I called IFB executive for the demo when i discovered that the machine is not working only. Executive guided me to book a complaint again at the call center stating non functionning of machine. After numerous call's and reminders a technician visited me and removed a part ( motor) from the machine and assured me of comming back with the new sparepart (motor) the next day. I still continue calling service center relegiously everyday and am getting a response of getting machine either re-placed or corrected the sameday . Nothing has moved till date and problem remains unresolved.
              The original camplaint was lodged on 21st of Aug and its been these many days and the issue has not been resolved.

              Microwave -IFB — No demo given

              Dear Sir,
              No demo given by Croma on purchase of Microwave oven of IFB brand. My availability at home is after 7.30 or on Sunday, the people are not ready to give demo during this time.Yesterday, I came earlier at 6.30 & called Croma, but they did not come. This problem is not at other retail shops.

              we purchased a micro oven and ticket no.3158890 on 19.6.09.and requested ur sales executive n ifb care people to provide demo.the day person came to us to demo is not able to explain us even small features but offcource well in wasing m/n.
              the more than that in that pack we got an gift voucher worth of Rs.2000.for micro oven.the information has been given and shown to ur dealer and our shp M/S.sri rama agencieis.kotagummam, rajahmundry.
              on the day ur dealer and executive Mr, sai promised me to arrange the benifit.
              but yesterday Mr.sai telephoned me ([protected], [protected])and said that he is unable to provide me the benifit of it more than Rs.500/-.
              i felt very bad in this regard n know why should i loose that full benifit.

              IFB Microwave — Defective microwave

              Hi,

              I purchased a IFB microwavemodel 20DC2 on[protected] from Priya Electronics, Pimpri, Pune - 411017. The main reason for selection of IFB was it's brand and service quality.
              From the day I bought the microwave I was not satisfied with it's heating and roasting. I am confident that there is some issue with my microwave heating and roasting. I called IFB helpdesk / service center multiple times and registered the complains. Below are the details of the same -

              Remarks / Comments - After regrous follow-up, The technician after testing the microwave, accepted that there are technical issues in the microwave regarding heating and roasting. He adviced few spares needs to be replaced because of the defect in the product. The spares are still awaited and whenever I call to check the status I get an reply that the spares are not yet received from company

              Even after regrous follow-up with IFB helpdesk for the resolution of my complaint, I never received satifactory response neither from IFB helpdesk nor from the local service center. Its very unfortunate that IFB is not maintaining the quality of their products. Based on my experience so far with IFB, I have decided not to purchasde any product of IFB in future. Learning from my experiences may of my friends have also banned purchasing prducts of IFB. If IFB continues to manufacture such poor quality products, it will soon be thrown out of the market where their is already a huge compition and multiple brands available for selection to the customers.

              Request you to please refund back my money along with the interest and take back the defective microwave at the earliest.

              IFB Microwave — Sleeping IFb over my complaint.

              My microwave 25SCI is not working since 22 December 2009. I registered the complaint on the same day and the complaint number is 3904861. The service centre owner, Mr. Vikas Asthana says that he is helpless as the company is not providing them with the part required for the microwave. The regional head Mr. Akshay promises to help but never helps. This microwave was bought on 25 February 2005 for Rs 12500 and has broken down three times since then and we are suffering from lack of service since then.
              my microwave has stopped working whereas grill is working. convection also does'nt work efficiently. i reside in grtr noida and looking for someone who can repair my oven. my model is 25sc1. my mob no. is [protected].

              IFB Microwave — Microwave not working - no resolution

              We had lodged a complaint with IFB customer care centre on 12th Aug 2010 regarding some problem in our Microwave. However, no body either contacted nor visited our residence to attend the complaint. We have contacted your customer care centre three times again and reminded them about the poor service. We were again consoled and given one number of your so called service centre, to whom we tried to contact over phone on 2nd Sep and 3rd Sep but everytime we tried, it was intentionally disconnected by the person present there.


              We trusted IFB and brand and expected excellent after sales service but it is disgusting and disappointing to get so worst service that no one ever bothered to call us back after lodgement of complaint on 12.08.2010.

              It is really disheartening to note that IFB Company officials have not taken enough care to find out that whether customer’s grievance has been addressed or the complaint is attended or not. Not even the emails has been acknowledged as yet by your Company.



              The complaint was lodged on 12.08.2010 for the IFB Microwav, Model No. 25 SC2, purchased by me from Delhi and I have been continuously following up for its redressal. I had spoken to customer care centre around 20 times and also contacted higher officials of the Company i.e. Ms. Amreen (Mobile No: [protected]) and Mr. Sheshank (Mobile No. [protected]) to get the problem solved in the Microwave. After so much follow up, one person called on around 10 days back at our residence and came with a loose old used spare part to replace it with the faulty part, for which we have not agreed and told him to bring a fresh, sealed and Company’s genuine spare part. He assured to do the same and never turned up. We are really fed up with the lack luster kind of approach of the Company for not taking care of compalints and poor after sales service and no serious thought is given to the customer complaints.



              We have paid an amount of Rs.2280/- vide cheque towards AMC charges and same has since been encashed by the Company and your company has failed to provide any service to me.

              IFB MICROWAVE — No one attend for installation & Demo

              We have purchased IFB Microwave. Several times we have registered for Installation & Demo but no one turned for installation & Demo till now.

              IFB Microwave — Where is the service?

              I am trying to contact IFB service number as given at their site[protected] and also their Raipur service center number ([protected]) but leave alone bad service...here no one even picks up the phone. PATHETIC

              IFB — no demo

              Microwave 30SRC1 purchased on 24.08.11 and still chasing IFB for a demo. Useless company.. no concern for the customers...

                we had purchesed ifb drier 'MAXIDRY 550' on JANUARY 2008 and errect it and start working on 30th JANUARY 2008, it run soothly for 4-month after that it many times stopped, cmoplained, reparied, run again & again it remained out of orderd, Pl follow the data of cmpalain.

                  We purchased IFB washinf machine last month, Executive plus model. during demo operation it was found that heater was continous functioning irrespect of programs selected. service engineer told that it problem of sensor unit and he will replace the same by day or two. we logged compliant through customer care. But even after a month, nothing was retified. when we made enquiry to ifb coustomer care compliant status was closed.repeatedly 2 time we logged compliant but it was closed without attending problem.

                  I have a Senator model washine machine.
                  Last year in the month of December it wasn't working properly.A personal attended and then claimed that its heater isn't working and asked us to take AMC contract.And told that after taking this contract we will change the heater and then it will work properly.And he told us to complaint after 15 days(don't know wht was the reason of saying so).We did in this manner thinking that its service is poper.
                  Then we complaint a technitian turned up and told there's a wireing problem.We were amazed to hear that.But he rectified it.
                  After few days it stopped working again(heater stopped working).
                  Again some technitian turned up.And the same process is repeating till date.we have given almost handfull of complaints and none of the technitians is rectifying the problems.Its almost 3 months now and none of them are rectifying it.Though we were told in the starting that heater is not working properly, and we keep telling them that change the heater but they aren't.
                  And the technicians are coming from Ramantapur, Hyderabad center.
                  Can you please tell us what is the problem behind there ill response.And what we are feeling is that after taking AMC technicians aren't responding properly.They were but actually resposnding properly before.
                  We were ready to pay the money for the part which wasn't working properly before but he forced us and convinced us so much that we couldn't stop ourselves from taking AMC.

                  IFB/washing machine — Poor AMC service

                  I own IFB Washing machine for more than 12 years and have been having AMC since then. Recently the machine encountered some loud noise when in dry mode. I had registered a complain (Compliant No: 2852177) on 24th March 2009. The concerned service personel who attended the complaint said that the bearing needs to be replaced and a technical guy will attend the same. The next day the technical guy came and after checking the machine told that the internal drum also needs to be replaced. He came the following day with a new drum and replaced the drum in the machine. After starting the machine water started leaking from inside. The technical guy after much struggle told that the outer drum also needs to be replaced and he will replace the same the next day, but he did not turn up. On 29th March 2009 he came and replaced the outer drum also, but this still did not solve the problem as water was still leaking from the machine. He suggested that the new drum which he has got is also faulty and he will get a new drum again and fix it. From then on neither he or some other personel turn up to fix the problem. I called up your customer service care centre and was shocked to know that the complain is closed without being correctly resolved. The customer care personel registered a new complain (Complain No: 2875976, Date: March 31st 2009) and also gave me the number of the service manager in chennai (Mr.Guna - [protected]) and told to call him. I had called the said number and spoke to the service manager and he assured to get the machine fixed, but again the person attending the complain told that the technical person needs to sort this. Till today no one has turned up to solve the complain. I don't understand why you have such in-efficient people and what is the use of a AMC when I am unable to use the washing machine for more than 10 days. I request you to take strong action on the concerned people at IFB Service people in Chennaii and also request you'll to resolve my issue as soon as possible.

                  IFB — Poor Service on AMC

                  I had taken a full year AMC for digital IFB wsahing machine. The machine developed some fault on 20.09.09. Complaint was registered. Service personnel came on 21.09.09. Inspected the machine and told that some parts i.e power board and display etc. have to be replaced and changed. However till date the parts have not been changed inspite of several requests/complaints on customer care & Mr. Kashyap [protected]. Hope the IFB service personnel keep a note of this and take necessary corrective measures so that the functioning of the franchise service centre is improved.

                  Since last one year neither my Washing machine ( IFB Eleena Model) working perfectly nor the service personnel are able to make it OK. Till date they have replaced motor & tub (Both outer & inner) twice. But since last one month, till today the machine is not working. After repeatedly failure of motor the service personals are showing their helplessness as they are telling that almost all new motors are failing!!!. The service personnel even are denying to give the service report after carrying out the maintenance work (even after motor / tub replacement), where we are also signing. It is really a regretful thing for such a high branded & internationally famed Company such as IFB. Given a preference.
                  IT IS SURE THAT I SHALL NEVER PURCHASE ANY ITEM OF IFB , NEITHER I SHALL RECCOMEND TO MY COLLEAGES/RELATIVES.
                  A few Suggestions:
                  1) The complain should be attended timely , preferably within 24-48 hours maximum for AMC .
                  2) THE IFB should monitor all the online complain after proper acknowledgement in return mail. Till date although I have put 3 online complain, but I didn't received any return mail / nor any complain nos etc.
                  3) Top level management like state in charge are also showing their helplessness which shows very poor image of IFB. (I am particularly speaking for the ORISSA counterpart.) They should be strengthened.

                  It is further requested to kindly look in to the above and acknowledge with timely & appropriate corrective action plan in return mail.

                  IFB WASHING MACHINE — BEWARE - Purchaser of NEW IFB WMachine

                  Prospective Buyers of IFB Washing machine,my sincere advice is that please do purchase IFB products. Once you pay your money for the product, then you are at the mercy of their ASC (Authorised Service Centre) for Installation, warranty complaints and post warranty complaints.

                  You need to spend your money on the product, accessories, and AMC. Even if you are willing to spend money, the treatment meted out to customers by their AMCs are really pathetic. You cannot contact any of IFB officials or ASC officials. Your only point of contact would be the Toll Free Number wherein they always say sorry, take your complaint, give you a complaint number and close the complaint the next day meticulously in their system even without verifying whether the complaint has been actually attended to.

                  Still you want to buy IFB washing machine, always keep blood pressure tablets by your side.

                  i have a similar model and a similar complaint .am based at coimbatore and am in the amc period but despite repeated calls for over 6 months nobody has bothered to call back let alone come over and check the machine .2 years back one of the company engineers had come over for a check and replaced the original part by a faulty part [this he did in a number of places for which he was subsequently fired }, following which all over troubles started .i wonder why we ever bought this machine because we have been only handwashing our clothes ...pl do not buy ifb machines !

                    Complaint was lodged on[protected] vide ticket number 2484591 for replacement of some pump as recommended by IFB Engineer Yogendra, who visited usearlier. Also rat mesh was to be put.
                    Nothing has been done to date. We have been informed that the parts are not available, and that theseswould be carried out as soon as the parts arrive.
                    cannot understand how an international giant like IFB does not have in stock a pump and rat mesh.
                    Please look into this.

                      IFB WASHING MACHINE — Complaints not attended

                      My IFB washing machine is under AMC. The machine is not working for the past six months. My last complaints ticket Nos. are 2423872 dated 14.11.2008 and complaint ticket No.2647582 dated 23.1.2009. The service personnel after inspection promised to come back with spares to make it working. But till date they have not attended the complaint.

                      I intend to file a civil suit or a complaint before Consumer court seeking compensation for damages and deficiency of service.

                      We had purchased an IFB Washing amchine two years back. On 15 Jun 09 I had launched for a compalint and requested for a MAndatory vist and for the same I was given a token No.3140753. But no one had turned up. All of a sudden a received a message in my mobile on 18 Jun 09 stateing that the mandatory vist was resolved and how the service was. I was so surprised I called the call center and they requested me to contact the local gudown for the service not rendered.I called them on 17 Jun 09 and two ladies attended and the call and they said they will get back to us but there was no reply from tham.Meanwhile i got a call from IFB stating that my AMC is getting expired on 28 Jul 09. where as i had paid Rs.2000/- at the time of purchased for an additional 2 years warrenty. She said is it so and there was no confirmation from her. All of a sudden a guy has come home and he called me just now stateing that he has come for the service. Since I am working I had requested them to send their service person on weekend where as this guy says he is not aware of it. The service and the care given to the customer is very very poor. There is no service from IFB. I never thouht it will have such a poor customer service.

                      Hi,

                      Am quite sure this IFB washing machine is proved to be a BIG failure and the service people are proven ridiculous and got fed up of their attitude. The area Manager is really appointed not to manage the situation whereas to obstruct the disheart the customer by not supporting them and misguide them by giving false reasons.

                      Myself purchased a senator Washing machine and it underwent 16 times repairs in 3 yrs time, by last month its warranty also got expired and I have no ther way to get their support other by cash payment which will be another expensive affair and paying penalty for selecting the International band item. I have repeatedly requested to all IFB available authorities in Kerala and through their complaint number many many times. Perhaps I would have spent more than Rs 300 for telephone calls (each complaint I have done more than 5 times and the waiting time is nearly 10mts in addition to calling the local offices)and my valuable time over phone and hearing arguments of service people. Its a big punishment of buying an IFB machine and request any customer NOT TO BUY IFB MACHINES else you will loose your money and mental peace.

                      Now I also have to approach the legal authorities either to get my money back or to get a new machine.

                      I strongly feel that the top management of IFB may not be knowing the real happening in grass root levels. The people in lower levels are trying to defame and thus the entire IFB name will be washed away from the market no sooner also the curse of suffering people who spent their hard earned money for a junk of metal will also prove in a short time.

                      IFB / Washing Machine — Not attended to the complaint

                      My washing machine is constantly in need of service and therefore I have always had an AMC.
                      I regestered a complaint on 18th August 2010 Complaint no.4958208 but the Machine is not yet set right a service mechanic came on 20th and promised to return with the required part the next day. but nothing has happened till today.

                      When I call the Call center they have their staple replies,but never have a supervisor with whom I can speak. When I insist on an IFB officials contact,they give different names at different times.The only consistant thing is that they give telephone nos which either do not work or keep ringing or remain switched off throughout the day.

                      The Management of IFB either does not exist or are unable to handle the problems eminating from poor quality products being dumped in the market to gulible customers.

                        My IFB wshing machine is under warranty. The machine stopped working and the first complaint was logged on December 1, 08. My Ticket number: 2484729 . Ever since I have made several calls to the customer care.                         we have purchased a IFB washing machine of Model: Elite 5 Kg / Elites 5 Kg Aqua SR. No. WTEL 5 Kg B / WTEL 5 Kg Aqua B 21982, by January 2009 (18/01/2007). From the purchase period itself the machine gave problems. When it was brought to the notice of the Supplier / IFB service people in Coimbatore, they did not turned up immediately. After many phone calls and complaints, the representative came and do something. However, it was not corrected. Frequently, in every month it has been the practice to give complaints, call after call, they come and could not analyse any fault, they simply say one time that there is no problem in the machine, in other time after many compulsions they look into it and could not succeed. The Skill is very poor & No customer satisfaction

                        This is the regular practice with this machine for nearly two years. We requested with thim many times to take the machine and give us the new machine. Once they took the machine to their place and did some service but with the effort is on vain. The machine is not being corrected till now. Now also we give complaints to them, but they never give any response and reply, they not even try to attend our phone calls. When the complaints are being sent through phone, the people there will pay mockery and no efforts are being taken.

                        The warranty period of the machine is over on 17/01/2009. This machine has been created more and more mental tension. By this our concentration is always diverted, no peace of mind due to this machine. Many times we requested and suggested them to recommend to change the machine and give us a new machine. However, no body is giving any attention. There is very least Customer Service. This machine was bought with the effort of that this is a renowned international branded one and expected good machine service. But everything is in vain. Always there has been a test for our patience.
                        Till now also, we are trying in giving the complaints, but they are not attending the calls. We request in this regard, to take suitable actions so that our machine could be changed. It would be better for us to have new machine, so that we would be atleast relaxed atlast.

Frequently, in every month it has been the practice to give complaints, call after call, they come and could not analyse any fault, they simply say one time that there is no problem in the machine, in other time after many compulsions they look into it and could not succeed. The Skill is very poor & No customer satisfaction

                        This is the regular practice with this machine for nearly two years. We requested with thim many times to take the machine and give us the new machine. Once they took the machine to their place and did some service but with the effort is on vain. The machine is not being corrected till now. Now also we give complaints to them, but they never give any response and reply, they not even try to attend our phone calls. When the complaints are being sent through phone, the people there will pay mockery and no efforts are being taken.

                        The warranty period of the machine is over on 17/01/2009. This machine has been created more and more mental tension. By this our concentration is always diverted, no peace of mind due to this machine. Many times we requested and suggested them to recommend to change the machine and give us a new machine. However, no body is giving any attention. There is very least Customer Service. This machine was bought with the effort of that this is a renowned international branded one and expected good machine service. But everything is in vain. Always there has been a test for our patience.
                        Till now also, we are trying in giving the complaints, but they are not attending the calls. We request in this regard, to take suitable actions so that our machine could be changed. It would be better for us to have new machine, so that we would be atleast relaxed atlast.
                        i also posted my complaint to ifb but i think these people are fraud and do not provide any kind of services.
                        Anyway now i will lodge my post in Consumer forum to get justice . I suggest all not to buy IFB products.

                        hi i'm having similar problem with IFB. I bought a DIGITAL 6KG washing machine from IFB and it stopped working on 15 April 2010, we launched a complaint and since then nobody came to attend to it. We had been calling them for about a month but their only response was that the parts have not arrived yet. Today is 1st September and till now nobody has come to our place or even called. We were told to contact a person named Menaka from Xcell Care in Chennai. Could you please tell me the address of that service center.
                        You are totaly right. IFB want just sale their prodect and after that they forget all their promises
                        I am living in Mohali (Chandigarh). My IFB Washing Machine is under AMC and it has stopped functioning about five days ago. I booked complaint on 27th Sep 2011. My complaint no. is 7262090. Customer Cell assured me that within 24 hours their service engineer will contact me, but till date beside my repeated requests on toll free no., no one came to attend the complaint. Local contact nos. mentioned in the receipt cum invoice seem to be fake.Contact nos. of the local Senior officers of service center, provided by the Customer care are also not picked up by them. I am really astonished for such type of casual attitude towards the customers from a reputed Co.. Very poor service. IFB really want just sale their product and after that they forget all their promises.
                        My IFB Washing M/C with Sl.no:0071289 and model Elite5.5Kg is under "Comprehensive AMC" Contract for the period 22.06.2011 to 21.06.2013, Reciept cum Invoice no:2575 dtd:11.6.2011.
                        This Washing Machine is having the same problem from the very begining of it's purchase, recently also same problem REPEATED on 05.4.2012.
                        "THE ENTIRE MACHINE JERKS WITH A BIG THUNDERING NOISE AND MOVES ITSELF ON FLOOR TO ABOUT 1 or 2 Ft" inspite of Switching OFF the Power instantly.This is FOURTH Time such problem is being REPEATED.
                        Recently also the same problem REPEATED on 05.4.2012, again same Engr visited and opened the Machine, tested and freshly loaded clothes and starts working.I have conveyed the Service Chief over Phone, he is not having any other way to SOLVE THIS DEFECT PERMANENTLY.
                        THE PROBLEM WITH MYSELF IS:I am having a BONDAGE WITH THIS BRAND "IFB", I am an ARDENT FAN OF IFB.
                        I wish the Company comes farword and replaces this Machine having an INHERENT PROBLEM WHICH IS UNSOLVED FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS[protected]and creates CONFIDENCE in Consumers.
                        I hope the IFB Engrs do not divert the issue with lame EXCUSES since I myself an Engr knowing at least BASICS-----such as fluctuation in Power supply / Loose contact in supply path / Quality of Water / Variation in ground Levels and so on.
                        I do not believe in going to CONSUMER COURT and so on to solve my Issue, ...because I TRUST THE IFB PRODUCT, unknowingly they have given me a machine having an INHERENT problem / Defect which may be because of MALFUNCTING BY ONE OF THE PART.

                        IFB customer service is the worst I have seen in my life. One of the service engineer first told that a board has burnt and charged 2000. The machine stopped working within 2 -3 days after we changing the board. He then said the motor has to be replaced and charged another 3000 Rs. The very next day the machine again stopped working again . I would have called him atleast 20 times. Each time he has been telling a different story.

                        Service engineer name is Thyagu and his mobile number is [protected]. He claimed to be from St Thomas branch, Chennai branch.

                        I have spent Rs 5000 and the machine is not working yet.

                        My sincere suggestion is to buy indian brand with top load. Front load machine maintenance is costly and also the service engineer experience is not good to handle repairs effectively.

                          If I as a customer have to go through this torture, can't imagine what their so claimed '1 MILLION' customers go through. I bought this microwave at their Chennai sales office (Nungambakkam) on 6thDec. I registered for a DEMO call with their call centre[protected]th, after receiving the item at my residence. I was promised this 'demo' within 48 hrs of registering and also was advised not to open the box until the technician arrives - becos if there is a damage IFB will not be responsible. It is 13th today and it has been an ORDEAL to get someone to do this 'DEMO'. I had to ensure that there is someone at home 24hrs for the last 5 days. This is NO JOKE considering 3 people in my family work! They cannot take a customer so lightly. I've been behind 2 of their staff (Both Karthik), since this morning. Each time I called their executive, I was given a "reason", not to attend this customer request. This has caused unnecessary stress and I seek redressal. Request help!

                            The machine is not completing the full wash. The machine stops in between itself and we are not able to open the door.The conplaint was booked five days back and I was assured everyday morning that the problem will be attended that day itself. But till today nobody has turned up. We office goers have no other option than to depend on the machine. But your service is very worse. Please take immediate action.I want the problem to be solved immediately as the machine is under warranty.

                              I have an AMC for my IFB washing machine. I gave a complaint on Tuesday 9th Dec, 2008 for my IFB washing machine. I was give a ticket number 2519328 and was informed that within 48 hours my call will be attended to. After 3 days One Engineer came, checked the machine, found few electrical parts burnt, told us it will take 4-5 days and went out. Till then there is no communication/followup from IFB and our machine is still out of order. This is inspite of having an AMC with the Company. Please help I just don't know what to do.

                                We bought IFB washing machine on 03/01/2001. Once the warranty period got over we started facing serious issues with the washing machine. The worst thing is the service of the chennai service centre. They asked us to take AMC, themachine will never get fault in the AMC period but as soon as the AMC period got over it will face serious problems and again they will collect a lumpsum + another AMC contract (I wonder how this happens ). Now the scenario is worse, last time (30.03.09) they setup an AMC contract for an year stating that all parts will be covered in that but they changed a part and said that it will not be covered in AMC and they dint even bothered to mention it before. They also promised for a prompt service.

                                This week our machine got repaired on (08/12/08) 4 days have passed and we have filed a complaint (complaint no.251988)the worst thing is there is no response only after filing the complaint.

                                Only god or Consumer court can save us from these people.

                                IFB WM SENORITA PLUS — not attending

                                I am from Cochin and I have purchased an IFB senoritta Plus washing machine on 11.9.2008 which is under warranty and the machine failed on 18.9.09 and on 18th morning at 9.30 I registered a complaint at your 24 hrs helpline number. The same day I got a call from a person and he told me that he will come and see at 3 pm. He did't come and I started calling him every 30 minutes and all the times he told me that he is coming. Next day morning again I called your 24 hrs helpine several times and one technician came and he told me that it requires one item replacement and it may take 1-2 days and he told me that he cannot give a time commitment for repair. Again I called your number and they gave me their Service head number and I did't get any commitment. Again I called the same number and they gave me Kerala head number and she gave me a commitment that this will be attended on wednesday. Up to 12 .30 pm nobody called me . Today again I called him and he told ( Mr. Joseph-[protected]) me that this may be repaired today evening and he is not sure. I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

                                    For the above mentioned washing machine which is under gaurantee period a complained was loged with the above no. about 14-15 days ago and once again reminded in between, but so far no one has turned up.
                                    I am residing at D-144, Fourth floor, Abul Fazal Enclave Part I, New Delhi 110 025. My washing machine gives spark while spinning. My wife Nikhat Khan registered a complained with the consumer care division wit the complaint no. 2482530. After a week or so when no one turned up, I contacted the consumer care again and they told that they have made my complaint urgent. However, after a laps of about 15 days, no body came to attend the complaint. Its pathetic and shows the poor quality of management. I dont know how to tackle this problem.
                                    It is my request that immediately some action should be taken to redress my grivience. It is the sheer mental harassment by the company.

                                      I had a problem with my dryer where there was a jumping of the drum. I logged my complaint on the 20th November and got my SMS of ticket number 2442269. I didn't hear from the IFB service centre for 1 week. Finally I wrote on the feedback page of the IFB website and got a call from the Service centre. A Mr ravi mobile number [protected] happens to be the manager coordinated it. After a 2 days of back and forth they finally came and told us the ball bearing is gone and would cost 600/- for their cost and part cost and that they would come back once part is there. After no news we called them repeatdely and was told that the part had not come in. Finally on 6th Dec we got a positive answer and my wife fixed an appointment for 12 noon as we all work. There was no sign of them for 2 hours and on calling them back they rescheduled for another day. On the 9th of December Mr veeresh mobile number [protected] who is the engineer doing the job promised to come at 12 to fix it. Finally at 12 when called again, mr veeresh seemed to sing a different tune and said we have to speak to the manager Mr ravi. On calling Mr Ravi, there was no response till finally the phone was picked up and his spokesman Mr Vipul spoke. he was arrogant, and talked very badly to my wife . His contention was that they had closed the ticket already as we were not cooperating with their coming home and not letting them do their work. further he was abusive and insulting my wife on the phone and asked us to go ahead and tell whoever we want about this as they will not do it and We have to open a fresh ticket number for the complaint.

                                      A company as big as IFB is answerable to even their service partners and we would hold them responsible for the heartache given to us.

I spoke to Mr. Mitesh/Ms.Sonal of IFB on 28470528/32/[protected] hundred times but he send some stupid technician with no knowledge of trouble shooting and just waste our time by saying that the part which he brought is also faulty. We are feed-up with this kind of service since the machine is installed at Nepeansea Road at our Boss residence. Every single day we are been following up with Elite service (Mr. Michael[protected] but invain, we have never ever experienced this kind of service from even the normal vendor but if this is happening under the banner of IFB which is very pathetic.

                                      Kindly look into this matter as we are facing a lot of problem.

                                      IFB customer care service is worst than poor. I have called them almost 7 times but no one has turned up till date. I should have never bought an IFB product, I am totally repenting it. Please DO NOT buy any of IFB products, its like buying a great headache.

                                      IFB Dryer — DEMONSTRATION & INSTALLATION NOT DONE

                                      We have purchased one IFB Dryer from M/s. Fomra & Co. and it was delivered on 8th of November 2010. The same time we have informed the customer care to install and for demonstaration. But they are not responding properly.
                                      Recently, I am also facing major problems with IFB's service. As per process, I called teir call center for some replacements. They had promised that someone will attend to my query WITHIN 24 hours. Its more than 5 DAYS since my logging of this request. NO ONE BOTHERS. I have complained to their head of service group. I have even logged onto their "Feedback" form. Not a single response. IFB's service is PATHETIC. Hope, someone will address their service issue ASAP.

                                      I am very much frustrated of the attitude of the IFB company service people. our is a new and got into some drum problem in our machine. I been giving complaints for almost 7 times and these service guy so called seniors who could not find the problem. I warned and told i have to file a case against the irresponsibilties of both the employees as well as the company. If people are in the pool could join we can make a powerfull hands to help the IFB company know the pain of people who trust on this brand and finally fooled of them.                                       I am frustrated and pained.
                                      I rue the day I bought a IFB Elite DX washing machine in 2008 at Kozhikode. Since we moved to Coimbatore in 2009 this is the 2nd time that we have had a complaint with the IFB machine. Now it is 6 days since we registered a complaint with the Coimbatore Service Centre, and the problem remains unresolved. Their service personnel either switch off their phones or remain elusive. I wonder if they have all gone on a holiday enbloc or resigned. Wonder if IFB has declared a service holiday. They continue to sell... You just have to send them a SMS showing interest to buy. They will soon swarm all over you like flies. At this rate it will not be too long that IFB joins the list of RIPs. What a shame? The next time time around I wish that I do not buy IFB.                                         SIR I HV LODGE A COMPLAINT REGARDING MY WASHING MACHINE IFB 6KG DIGITAL MODEL PUMP ANS SOUND WHILE RUNNING THE MACHINE, ON 18/10/2008. BUT I GOT THE TICKET NO ONLY ON 21/10/2008 AS THERE WAS A PROBLEM IN THE COMPUTER.
                                        AFTER GETTING THE TICKET NO I REPEATEDLY CALLING THE CHENNAI OFFICE AT POES RD TEYNAMPET VIKAS ENTERPRISES
                                        THER WAS NO ONE THE LIFT THE PHONE OR IT SAID IT WAS ENGAGED. HENCE I WENT TO OFFICE DIRECTLY, TO MY SURPRISE I FOUND THE PHONE WAS KEPT OPEN FOR LONG AND THE PERSON ATTENDING THE FRONT OFFICE WAS TALKING OVER A CELL PHONE.
                                        THEN I MET MR SELVARAJ, HE PROMISED ME TO GET THE REPAIR DONE BY A WEEKS TIME.

                                        ONLY ON 12/11/2008 A PERSON CAME TO ATTEND THE PROBLEM. HE WAS QUIET INDIFFERENT IN HIS REPLY.
                                        ONLY ON 6.12.2008 A PERSON CAME AND FITTED THE PUMP BUT DID NOT ATTEND TO THE SOUND PROBLEM.
                                        AFTER THAT I CONTACT MR SELVARJ OVER PHONE . HE AGAIN
                                        PROMISED ME TO DO THE WORK DONE BY ONE DAY.
                                        TILL NOW NO ONE HAS ATTEND MY COMPLAINT COMPLETELY.
                                        SHOULD A CUSTOMER WAIT FOR 2 MONTHS .
                                        MY SERVICE CONTRACT IS ALSO GETTING BY JAN 2009.
