My IFB wshing machine is under warranty. The machine stopped working and the first complaint was logged on December 1, 08. My Ticket number: 2484729 . Ever since I have made several calls to the customer care. The workers, totally unskilled, finally turned up, could not dignose the problem, the next time came up yesterday(december 14th) with a motor (an old refurbished motor- with no IFB label) and replaced the originally installed motor. They loaded the laundry ad left. The machine is still not working. This is frustrating, and very disappointing. The service agent is xcell Care, St Thomas Mount Chennai.

we have purchased a IFB washing machine of Model: Elite 5 Kg / Elites 5 Kg Aqua SR. No. WTEL 5 Kg B / WTEL 5 Kg Aqua B 21982, by January 2009 (18/01/2007). From the purchase period itself the machine gave problems. When it was brought to the notice of the Supplier / IFB service people in Coimbatore, they did not turned up immediately. After many phone calls and complaints, the representative came and do something. However, it was not corrected. Frequently, in every month it has been the practice to give complaints, call after call, they come and could not analyse any fault, they simply say one time that there is no problem in the machine, in other time after many compulsions they look into it and could not succeed. The Skill is very poor & No customer satisfaction

This is the regular practice with this machine for nearly two years. We requested with thim many times to take the machine and give us the new machine. Once they took the machine to their place and did some service but with the effort is on vain. The machine is not being corrected till now. Now also we give complaints to them, but they never give any response and reply, they not even try to attend our phone calls. When the complaints are being sent through phone, the people there will pay mockery and no efforts are being taken.

The warranty period of the machine is over on 17/01/2009. This machine has been created more and more mental tension. By this our concentration is always diverted, no peace of mind due to this machine. Many times we requested and suggested them to recommend to change the machine and give us a new machine. However, no body is giving any attention. There is very least Customer Service. This machine was bought with the effort of that this is a renowned international branded one and expected good machine service. But everything is in vain. Always there has been a test for our patience.
Till now also, we are trying in giving the complaints, but they are not attending the calls. We request in this regard, to take suitable actions so that our machine could be changed. It would be better for us to have new machine, so that we would be atleast relaxed atlast.

i also posted my complaint to ifb but i think these people are fraud and do not provide any kind of services.
Anyway now i will lodge my post in Consumer forum to get justice . I suggest all not to buy IFB products.

hi i'm having similar problem with IFB. I bought a DIGITAL 6KG washing machine from IFB and it stopped working on 15 April 2010, we launched a complaint and since then nobody came to attend to it. We had been calling them for about a month but their only response was that the parts have not arrived yet. Today is 1st September and till now nobody has come to our place or even called. We were told to contact a person named Menaka from Xcell Care in Chennai. Could you please tell me the address of that service center.
You are totaly right. IFB want just sale their prodect and after that they forget all their promises
I am living in Mohali (Chandigarh). My IFB Washing Machine is under AMC and it has stopped functioning about five days ago. I booked complaint on 27th Sep 2011. My complaint no. is 7262090. Customer Cell assured me that within 24 hours their service engineer will contact me, but till date beside my repeated requests on toll free no., no one came to attend the complaint. Local contact nos. mentioned in the receipt cum invoice seem to be fake.Contact nos. of the local Senior officers of service center, provided by the Customer care are also not picked up by them. I am really astonished for such type of casual attitude towards the customers from a reputed Co.. Very poor service. IFB really want just sale their product and after that they forget all their promises.
My IFB Washing M/C with Sl.no:0071289 and model Elite5.5Kg is under "Comprehensive AMC" Contract for the period 22.06.2011 to 21.06.2013, Reciept cum Invoice no:2575 dtd:11.6.2011.
This Washing Machine is having the same problem from the very begining of it's purchase, recently also same problem REPEATED on 05.4.2012.
"THE ENTIRE MACHINE JERKS WITH A BIG THUNDERING NOISE AND MOVES ITSELF ON FLOOR TO ABOUT 1 or 2 Ft" inspite of Switching OFF the Power instantly.This is FOURTH Time such problem is being REPEATED.
Recently also the same problem REPEATED on 05.4.2012, again same Engr visited and opened the Machine, tested and freshly loaded clothes and starts working.I have conveyed the Service Chief over Phone, he is not having any other way to SOLVE THIS DEFECT PERMANENTLY.
THE PROBLEM WITH MYSELF IS:I am having a BONDAGE WITH THIS BRAND "IFB", I am an ARDENT FAN OF IFB.
I wish the Company comes farword and replaces this Machine having an INHERENT PROBLEM WHICH IS UNSOLVED FOR THE PAST FOUR YEARS[protected]and creates CONFIDENCE in Consumers.
I hope the IFB Engrs do not divert the issue with lame EXCUSES since I myself an Engr knowing at least BASICS-----such as fluctuation in Power supply / Loose contact in supply path / Quality of Water / Variation in ground Levels and so on.
I do not believe in going to CONSUMER COURT and so on to solve my Issue, ...because I TRUST THE IFB PRODUCT, unknowingly they have given me a machine having an INHERENT problem / Defect which may be because of MALFUNCTING BY ONE OF THE PART.

IFB customer service is the worst I have seen in my life. One of the service engineer first told that a board has burnt and charged 2000. The machine stopped working within 2 -3 days after we changing the board. He then said the motor has to be replaced and charged another 3000 Rs. The very next day the machine again stopped working again . I would have called him atleast 20 times. Each time he has been telling a different story.

Service engineer name is Thyagu and his mobile number is [protected]. He claimed to be from St Thomas branch, Chennai branch.

I have spent Rs 5000 and the machine is not working yet.

My sincere suggestion is to buy indian brand with top load. Front load machine maintenance is costly and also the service engineer experience is not good to handle repairs effectively.

    If I as a customer have to go through this torture, can't imagine what their so claimed '1 MILLION' customers go through. I bought this microwave at their Chennai sales office (Nungambakkam) on 6thDec. I registered for a DEMO call with their call centre[protected]th, after receiving the item at my residence. I was promised this 'demo' within 48 hrs of registering and also was advised not to open the box until the technician arrives - becos if there is a damage IFB will not be responsible. It is 13th today and it has been an ORDEAL to get someone to do this 'DEMO'. I had to ensure that there is someone at home 24hrs for the last 5 days. This is NO JOKE considering 3 people in my family work! They cannot take a customer so lightly. I've been behind 2 of their staff (Both Karthik), since this morning. Each time I called their executive, I was given a "reason", not to attend this customer request. This has caused unnecessary stress and I seek redressal. Request help!

      The machine is not completing the full wash. The machine stops in between itself and we are not able to open the door.The conplaint was booked five days back and I was assured everyday morning that the problem will be attended that day itself. But till today nobody has turned up. We office goers have no other option than to depend on the machine. But your service is very worse. Please take immediate action.I want the problem to be solved immediately as the machine is under warranty.

        I have an AMC for my IFB washing machine. I gave a complaint on Tuesday 9th Dec, 2008 for my IFB washing machine. I was give a ticket number 2519328 and was informed that within 48 hours my call will be attended to. After 3 days One Engineer came, checked the machine, found few electrical parts burnt, told us it will take 4-5 days and went out. Till then there is no communication/followup from IFB and our machine is still out of order. This is inspite of having an AMC with the Company. Please help I just don't know what to do.

          We bought IFB washing machine on 03/01/2001. Once the warranty period got over we started facing serious issues with the washing machine. The worst thing is the service of the chennai service centre. They asked us to take AMC, themachine will never get fault in the AMC period but as soon as the AMC period got over it will face serious problems and again they will collect a lumpsum + another AMC contract (I wonder how this happens ). Now the scenario is worse, last time (30.03.09) they setup an AMC contract for an year stating that all parts will be covered in that but they changed a part and said that it will not be covered in AMC and they dint even bothered to mention it before. They also promised for a prompt service.

          This week our machine got repaired on (08/12/08) 4 days have passed and we have filed a complaint (complaint no.251988)the worst thing is there is no response only after filing the complaint.

          Only god or Consumer court can save us from these people.

          firstly machine is not taking washing powder from the slot.
          secondly drying is not taking place.Please make sure that person turns up to take care of its service. we are fed up of your earlier committments.Do the needful on top priority

          IFB WM SENORITA PLUS — not attending

          I am from Cochin and I have purchased an IFB senoritta Plus washing machine on 11.9.2008 which is under warranty and the machine failed on 18.9.09 and on 18th morning at 9.30 I registered a complaint at your 24 hrs helpline number. The same day I got a call from a person and he told me that he will come and see at 3 pm. He did't come and I started calling him every 30 minutes and all the times he told me that he is coming. Next day morning again I called your 24 hrs helpine several times and one technician came and he told me that it requires one item replacement and it may take 1-2 days and he told me that he cannot give a time commitment for repair. Again I called your number and they gave me their Service head number and I did't get any commitment. Again I called the same number and they gave me Kerala head number and she gave me a commitment that this will be attended on wednesday. Up to 12 .30 pm nobody called me . Today again I called him and he told ( Mr. Joseph-[protected]) me that this may be repaired today evening and he is not sure. I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

          mu machine is still in guarantee period and thr was a problem of water leakage. after registering the complaint and after running behind service people for 15 days finally it god rectified. but the service person did some loose connection or some thing electrically wrong in my machine. now there is sparking down in machine. again i m calling them. they will tell daily 2 send someone but no one turns up.

          IFB Vizag service centre Radha service centre is cancelling customer complaints without resolving them. I experienced twice.
          IFB is gradually loosing market and it's all the Reputation it got.
          On 31-05-16 I lodged a complaint and it was cancelled without resolving it on 04-06-16. Again they have given a new complaint no.

            I have purchased IFB microwave machine model 23 FCI about 5 years back. However, the machine is giving me continous trouble for last one year. The service centre located in Jorhat, Assam is not able identify the problem and not able to repair the machine. On 23.07.09 the machine have been returned to me in damaged condition. I tried to cook one cake today and after 4 minutes the machine balnked out completely. I want complete overhaul of the machine immediately free of cost as the machine was returned to me in damaged condition

            iam having ifb top load fully automatic machine which has a water leakage problem for 2 weeks and non of early complaints attended with in a week, and ifb service centers are totally bad in handling the consumer.
            I have a frontload washing m/c and i have made a service req on17/09.and i wasassured by call center that within 24hrs i will a service personnel.Since nobody turned up till monday the 20th i had reminder call but a fresh complaint was booked with no 5121280 and cust id 950596.again since nobdy turned up for 24 hrs on wed the 22nd i made another call and i was an immediate action To day 24th friday and till now nobody has turned up .your assurance of 24hrs service has not materialised even after 8*24 hrs.Pl let me know what to do further

              For the above mentioned washing machine which is under gaurantee period a complained was loged with the above no. about 14-15 days ago and once again reminded in between, but so far no one has turned up.
              I am residing at D-144, Fourth floor, Abul Fazal Enclave Part I, New Delhi 110 025. My washing machine gives spark while spinning. My wife Nikhat Khan registered a complained with the consumer care division wit the complaint no. 2482530. After a week or so when no one turned up, I contacted the consumer care again and they told that they have made my complaint urgent. However, after a laps of about 15 days, no body came to attend the complaint. Its pathetic and shows the poor quality of management. I dont know how to tackle this problem.
              It is my request that immediately some action should be taken to redress my grivience. It is the sheer mental harassment by the company.

                I had a problem with my dryer where there was a jumping of the drum. I logged my complaint on the 20th November and got my SMS of ticket number 2442269. I didn't hear from the IFB service centre for 1 week. Finally I wrote on the feedback page of the IFB website and got a call from the Service centre. A Mr ravi mobile number [protected] happens to be the manager coordinated it. After a 2 days of back and forth they finally came and told us the ball bearing is gone and would cost 600/- for their cost and part cost and that they would come back once part is there. After no news we called them repeatdely and was told that the part had not come in. Finally on 6th Dec we got a positive answer and my wife fixed an appointment for 12 noon as we all work. There was no sign of them for 2 hours and on calling them back they rescheduled for another day. On the 9th of December Mr veeresh mobile number [protected] who is the engineer doing the job promised to come at 12 to fix it. Finally at 12 when called again, mr veeresh seemed to sing a different tune and said we have to speak to the manager Mr ravi. On calling Mr Ravi, there was no response till finally the phone was picked up and his spokesman Mr Vipul spoke. he was arrogant, and talked very badly to my wife . His contention was that they had closed the ticket already as we were not cooperating with their coming home and not letting them do their work. further he was abusive and insulting my wife on the phone and asked us to go ahead and tell whoever we want about this as they will not do it and We have to open a fresh ticket number for the complaint.

                A company as big as IFB is answerable to even their service partners and we would hold them responsible for the heartache given to us.

                IFB Dryer — Very Bad & Poor Service

                There is a IFB dryer which is under AMC with Elite Services of IFB and some part of that IFB dryer has gone faulty but no one is attending to the complaint since 2 months (Complaint No.284810). I spoke to Mr. Mitesh/Ms.Sonal of IFB on 28470528/32/[protected] hundred times but he send some stupid technician with no knowledge of trouble shooting and just waste our time by saying that the part which he brought is also faulty. We are feed-up with this kind of service since the machine is installed at Nepeansea Road at our Boss residence. Every single day we are been following up with Elite service (Mr. Michael[protected] but invain, we have never ever experienced this kind of service from even the normal vendor but if this is happening under the banner of IFB which is very pathetic.

                Kindly look into this matter as we are facing a lot of problem.

                IFB customer care service is worst than poor. I have called them almost 7 times but no one has turned up till date. I should have never bought an IFB product, I am totally repenting it. Please DO NOT buy any of IFB products, its like buying a great headache.

                IFB Dryer — DEMONSTRATION & INSTALLATION NOT DONE

                We have purchased one IFB Dryer from M/s. Fomra & Co. and it was delivered on 8th of November 2010. The same time we have informed the customer care to install and for demonstaration. But they are not responding properly.
                Recently, I am also facing major problems with IFB's service. As per process, I called teir call center for some replacements. They had promised that someone will attend to my query WITHIN 24 hours. Its more than 5 DAYS since my logging of this request. NO ONE BOTHERS. I have complained to their head of service group. I have even logged onto their "Feedback" form. Not a single response. IFB's service is PATHETIC. Hope, someone will address their service issue ASAP.

                I am very much frustrated of the attitude of the IFB company service people. our is a new and got into some drum problem in our machine. I been giving complaints for almost 7 times and these service guy so called seniors who could not find the problem. I warned and told i have to file a case against the irresponsibilties of both the employees as well as the company. If people are in the pool could join we can make a powerfull hands to help the IFB company know the pain of people who trust on this brand and finally fooled of them.                 I rue the day I bought a IFB Elite DX washing machine in 2008 at Kozhikode. Since we moved to Coimbatore in 2009 this is the 2nd time that we have had a complaint with the IFB machine. Now it is 6 days since we registered a complaint with the Coimbatore Service Centre, and the problem remains unresolved. Their service personnel either switch off their phones or remain elusive. I wonder if they have all gone on a holiday enbloc or resigned. Wonder if IFB has declared a service holiday. They continue to sell... You just have to send them a SMS showing interest to buy. They will soon swarm all over you like flies. At this rate it will not be too long that IFB joins the list of RIPs. What a shame? The next time time around I wish that I do not buy IFB.                     my three month old ifb wahing machine has not been working for the past 20+ days...i lodged a complaint immediately and made repeated calls to get someone to take a look at it...the worst part being that the person would attend my call and say he was on his way to my place i would cancel all other programmes only to give him a call after 2hrs...sorry madam not possible today... finally after 18days of the intial complaint somebody came in to look at the machine...thats it he said some parts have to be changed no expaination as to y it happened when it would be fixed...am still waiting...the regional office, the service manager nobody picks the calls

                      I have got a new IFB Microwave Oven under HP Gift Hamper Scheme for purchasing a new computer. The wave guide of the oven is broken and is not working since receiving. Your engineers came and said that they will not provide free service as this machine has been ggot under 'Gift Hamper' scheme. Please see that we are not pushed to the consumer redressal forum for indifferent attitude of your engineers.

                      I purchased IFB Microwave oven Model No. 30SRC1 on 10th October 2009 from vasanth & co
                      by bill no. [protected], It has been delivered only on 13th October 2009. On 16th Oct.09
                      an unskilled person by name Mr.Sendil came to demonstrate its function. While doing so, he
                      has broken a part and promised for its replacement. He also got two cheques for Rs.2, 414/-
                      for extended warantee upto 14.10.2010. After my complaints to IFB (complaint No.3654131)
                      another mechanic (sathish) came and inspect the mechine who said after opening the mechine
                      only it can be repaired, As it is not agreeable to me, I asked for replacement of new mechine.
                      My complaint has been forwarded to our area manager. From there I have been asked to
                      wait to get replacement since the new mechine is out of stock. I didn"t get further response
                      till date. Please guide me what action I have to be taken fuether to get a nre mechine.

                        I bought IFB 17 PG 1S Microwave, Serial No- IFB 2508/01/11788 on 17th June 2008. Nobody had came for the demonstration of the product till date. And from day 1 one haulling sound was coming through it, then I had lodge a complain against the same Complain No- 2367058, Dated:- 31.10.08 at 11.35 a.m & I got the commitment to resolve my problem with in 48 hrs. After 15-20 days of lodging the complain, one mechanic came with wrong part called Megatone and it doesn’t fit in to our product. Then after 1 week another mechanic came with right part, but he was not knowing who to fit it. And again we called up cutomer care today in the morning they said nobody had informed them for the same.
                        Is this your way to serve the customers. You was so promising when we purchase the microwave from you & now you are not responding to our quires. In short, IFB is not at all a reliable brand to use. If you want your customers to be a regular customer, kingly get the servicing done at earliest.

                          Dear Sir,
                          I am a customer of IFB Home appliances. Last year, 6th of December 2008, I entered in your AMC plan for my IFB Elena washing machine (serial number: 61356). Service Engineer from your Franchise (S.Velu) attended my last complaint. He identified the problem was in the Motor speed control unit & replaced the same today (11.03.2009)

                          When changing the above said, he changed the MOTOR of the washing machine also which he brought from the Service franchise unit. The motor which he brought to change, in my washing machine didn’t have any Label sticked on it Which in turn gives the Serial number of the motor, date, month & year of manufacture, wattage of the motor, voltage & frequency of the motor. So I felt that may not be the Genuine parts from IFB. Also the motor which he brought to change, which has to come in properly sealed condition, was brought in an ordinary transparent plastic cover where there was no IFB letter embossed. I was not even able to note down the technical details including serial number of the replaced motor. This is for your kind attention. I request you to clarify reg. the above said.
                          I have changed New washing machine motor on "25/11/11", through mr.HAJA, his tel no:[protected], (Service engineer).
                          The motor is damaged and it make big noice within 2 months. I try to complaint to your service centere its not available.

                            My IFB washing machine developed a problem about 50 days back.Complaint was registered with service centre on 22nd of October with the service centre at jammu( Complaint No 559).they promised that the service engineer will be available in a couple of days but no one has come till date.
                            I also approached my dealer on 3rd nov who in turn rang up the service centre and assured me that the engineer will turn up in a day but no one has turned up till date after repeated calls to the service centre and the dealer.
                            I was a strong supporter of IFB products and have suggested a number of people to buy its products. Keeping in view the worst service provided by this company at jammu, i appeal all the people not to buy any product of IFB if you want to keep yourself tension free.

                            We had purchased the Top Loading Model AW6563 Sr. No. 80700364 on 19th Jan 2009. When your representative came to our home for a initial installation and demo, he broke the back plastic sheet of the Washing machine. His name is Gurvinder Singh. He told us that they would replace the sheet ASAP, as it was his fault when he was opening the WM for installation. I had been calling the Service center in Sec 38West, Chandigarh for this and had called number of time to Mr. Pankaj, Parveen, Paramjit Singh, Mr. Kakar. But they say the part is not available with them and they have placed the order to the company. It's very irritating to call and get the same answer every week as they say call after one week. But it now going to be 4 months with this complaint and this hasn't been resolved. We request you to please let us know by when can this be fixed as the Washing machine makes lot of noise when rinsing.

                                  I LODGED A COMPLAINT OF SERVICE AT CENTRALISED CUSTOMER CARE OF IFB IN END OCT 08
                                  THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE AUTHORISED SERVICE FRANCHISEE
                                  M/S S M ENTERPRISES F-37, GALI NO 13 LAXMI NAGAR DELHI 92 ATTENDED THE COMPLAINT AFTER 10 DAYS AND GAVE AN INVOICE NO 11625 OF 11.11.08 FOR RS 674 AS SERVICE CHARGE AND INVOICE NO 2992 DT 11.11.08 OF S M ENTERPRISES( THERE IS NO BOOK NO MENTIONED ALTHOUGH TIN NO AND MOBILE NO [protected] ARE DISPLAYED ON IT.) CHARGING RS 4216 AS MOTOR COST AND DESCALE POWDER 06 NOS @ RS 150 CHARGING RS 900 FOR IT AND AMOUNTING RS 5, 116 WHICH WAS PAID IN CASH. THE COMPLAINT WAS ATTENDED TO BY ONE MR KAMAL AND HE SAID THE DESCALE POWDER IS NOT AVAILABLE WITH THE FRANHISEE AND SHALL BE DELIVERED NEXTDAY. AS A PRECAUTION WE ASKED HIM TO WRITE DESCALE POWDER AS "PENDING" ON THE INVOICE.
                                  WE WAITED FOR HIM FOR 2-3 DAYS BUT WHEN HE DID NOT TURN UP WE LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FRANCHISEE AT TEL NO[protected]
                                  SUBSEQUENTLY ONE MR VISHAL FROM THE FRANCHISEE VISITED AND THE INVOICES WERE SHOWN TO HIM AND HE ASSURED THAT THE POWDER SHALL BE SENT SOON
                                  HOWEVER TODAY ON 29.11.08 I PERSONALLY VISITED THE FRANCHISEE AT 5 PM AND WAS TOLD BY THE OWNER OF THE ORGANISATION THAT KAMAL HAS BEEN SUSPENDED AND EXPRESSED IS INABILITY TO HELP AND ON THE CONTRARY ADVISED TO REGISTER FIR AGAINST HIM
                                  I REQUEST THE HIGHER AUTHORITIES AT IFB, THORUGH YOUR FORUM TO ATTEND TO THIS IMMEDIATELY

                                  Dear Sir,
                                  Through your forum i would like to inform to all the customers of IFB washing machines as to how the company is cheating all its customers. The simple way they use is just by speaking different persons at differnt times and putting the blame on the other without solving the issue. We are facing the problem of not getting the descale powder replacement free of cost due to the wrong usage of the technician. One day someone calls up and says they cannot give any free products. Suddenly the same night another person says they will for customer satisfaction will give it. This process is being going on for the past two months without any soulutions as everybody is blaming the other and persons who have promised to give it free are nowhere to be seen or cannot be contacted. We are in such a condition as we do not know wht to do. I[censored] could help us.

                                  we are getting lot of call for your products and i am fed up by the call and sms so please stop the same
                                  Agree, we puurchased IFB washign machine 7 kg automatic on 31/12/08, we were promised by the dealer that we the machine would come with 4 yrs warranty instead of 2 as special package. On installation of the machine despite repeatedly telling the engineer that please confirm and make the warranty years to 4 he just ignored and said that we will get a call from the call centre and the same initmation will be received by courier. Nothing happened. We have repeatedly following up with Ahmedabad office but no result. I plan to go to the consumer forum, we are not fools purchasing a washing machine worth 35, 000/0. IFB as a product may be good. but its service is third rate and totally down graded.
                                  agree... even i hv been frauded by this kamal person !

                                    From last 2 years their are 4 conmlaint on the same Machine vibration No Improvemnt in the machine.
                                    All the time Engineer comes with new suggession.
                                    1. Change your detergent.
                                    2. Remove the botteom stand.
                                    3. Brocken Shock absorvir,

                                    But problem remain the same.

                                    Does IFB Manufacture the Product like this which never end with complaint.

                                    Machine vibrates Continously while working, after complitation of process the changes its original position attached cables becomes very tiight(water pipe and electrical cable)

                                      Sir,

                                      I have purchased a washing machine -I am from chennai. Water inour area is around 600 PPM hardness. IFB is selling some chemicals - limo / descale etc at fancy price. Even a general conent is not written in the packet. Even after using this for 2 years continously the scales are being formed, Every 60 days the drums have to be cleaned. When we ask the company there is no answer. For a machine costing ~5000 Rs every year the annual maint contract is 1900 Rs. I think this the most customer frindly company.

                                      I use a IFB microwave for the past 3-4 years.I am based in trivandrum.We get very poor service from IFB in trivandrum.Soon after the purchase, the fuse for magnetron was blown off.The service person did not bring a proper company made fuse.Instead, the problem was fixed using a piece of wire from my home.Later nobody turned up with the proper fuse, though they had agreed to replace it.
                                      Now, i would like to know
                                      1. How can i purchase a fuse for my microwave.It is microwave +grill model(900 W).
                                      2. Do you have an outlet in UAE?
                                      3. How can i protect the microwave or the fuse from voltage fluctuations?
                                      I havean IFB microwave oven purchased vide Inv. No. DEL/NTS/230/07-08 dated 27.10.07 . This has developped problem. I am living in Dwarka area of New Delhi. Olease advice whom Should I contact. am based

                                        IFB sold us a lemon dishwasher. It has not functioned for about 75% of the time in the last two years. It is mostly disfunctional or under repair at one of the IFB service centers. It has been repaired numerous times and pretty much all the parts seem to have been touched during these repairs. The first problem occurred in a month or so. After that it has given us repeated problems. The dishwasher not only doesnt wash properly despite following the recommended procedures and use of IFB additives but the machine also leaks. The technicians dont seem to know what they are doing and often multiple visits are required to get the machine working again. Also, some of them leave it a worse state than before. Lastly they do not have the courtesy to come at a requested time or inform you once the machine has been repaired at their service center. You have to do all the chasing most of the time. The managers don't even know how to apologize for selling us a piece of junk and then not knowing how to get it serviced appropriately. This machine has caused us a lot of grief. Their jingo about a "million happy customers" seems like a cruel joke to me. Given the cost of the appliance (around Rs 28000!), I would have expected a more professional response from IFB for a machine that never worked, pretty much right from the beginning. For comparison, my last dishwasher, from GE worked straight for 17 years without a single problem. I would like IFB to replace our machine ( I am convinced that this machine cannot be repaired such that it will function like an appliance should, definitely not by the IFB technicians !). If they had any shame or self respect, they would have done this a long time back.

                                        IFB Neptune Dishwasher — DISHWASHER NOT REPAIRED FOR 6 DAYS AND COUNTING

                                        My aged parents, both senior citizens had bought a dishwasher from IFB under the illusion of a strong service setup, as promised durig the sales pitch, in Nov 2008. However, the promised support has proved to be a mirage. I registered a complaint with their helpline(??!) vide ticket no 3298639 on 24 Jul 09, Friday. Today is Wednesday, 29 July 2009 and the dishwasher is still not repaired. This is despite repeated telephonic reminders on an hourly basis to the supposed Helpline, where the call centre executive only states " i am very sorry to hear...".
                                        2. It is amazing that a company of the stature of IFB has such pathetic customer service to back its products in India, and is able to get away with it.
                                        Can anybody help!
