I bought IFB microwave oven model 25bc4 in Jan 2019 from Satya Chennai. Now the oven is not working and only the fan was spinning.. I contacted the customer care and they sent an executive and after opening the oven now the start button is also not working. He told me that it's the panel board problem and didn't resolve the problem as the spare was out of stock. He informed me that I have to pay 2000+ for spare as I am out of warranty. My question is how come this problem happened in a product from such a brand within 2 years of purchase. I am totally unhappy with this product and want your company to resolve this problem as soon as possible. I don't think it is worth to spent again 2500 on a product which is not even 2 years old.

      I Have done the AMC for my microwave on 23 Nov 2019 .vide Book No 002215 and receipt number [protected] dated 23 Nov 2019 for Rs. 1770/-
      I have registered complaint number of time but your represented not visited. In spite of repeated requests your representative visited my house on 29 Oct 20 and raised a ticket [protected] and said i will carry out the repairs tomorrow but he did not turn till today. Now he is saying first renew the AMC than i will carryout the repair . and ticket has been closed i got the massage on 31 Oct 20.
      I do not understand how the ticket has been closed with out carrying out the repairs. It seems your company is charging AMC amount with out providing the services and making the customers fool. Please look into the matter and carryout the repairs on TOP PRIORITY.

        Buyer beware! Don't buy IFB products. This is a long comment since I have had issues with IFB service that I would like to warn potential customers of.

        While the product is good the service is very sub-par. I purchased a microwave oven model 25BCS-DD1 and while it is a decent machine within a year the front glass cover detached due to glue which could not withstand heat from oven. The service person who came, stuck it back and it lasted for two days before it fell off again.

        Then due to a thunderstorm, the machine stopped working and when I called the service person in, he came looked at it, didn't even open it and said he would return with parts the next day. Of course, he never returned, never bothered to call or even take my numerous calls.

        I called IFB back and they took my escalated complaint down but said due to technical issues they could not log the complaint on the system and promised to do so once the system was back up... nothing for another week.

        Finally I called IFB for the nth time and they gave me new complaint number promising to have someone contact me but till now no one has called.

        And all this perhaps because I know the PCB board needs replacing and still it is under warranty I think no one wants to service the machine.

        Please buy another product which likely will be cheaper (this machine was MRP Rs. 18, 490) and service better. Because how can service ever be this bad.

            I have Senorita AQUA SX 6kg front load with not powering ON issue due to power fluctuations. Recently we contacted IFB service engineer, he visited and quoted around 6k for mother board and 1.5k for door lock. Really they are so expensive when compared to other brands. Please confirm with real prices to continue with IFB.

              I purchased an ifb dryer 1 year ago. It has been giving me trouble for the past 10-15 days. I booked a complaint with the service centre after a lot of trouble... The two numbers are always busy...I can imagine how many complaints they are handling. The technician came after two days of booking the complaint. Did nothing and went away without my signature and closed the ticket. Since then I am calling them local service centre everyday. They are not responding. Every day giving some or the other excuse. Is this the kind of service that ifb provides? Is this what it Chatterjee's the customer so much money for its products? For a four year warranty product, product gives trouble from day 1. When you call for service no one responds. Worst customer service I have ever seen. LG, Samsung are way ahead in customer service. Please send technician immediately to solve the problem otherwise I will move the consumer court for redress of insufficiency of service.

                I have registered service request on 03/11/2020 for my IFB washing machine as black pieces comes out after washing. Ticket number [protected] was alloted to me. Engineer visited on 03/11/2020 and told that machine needs to be cleaned and he will again visit on 04/11/2020 with tools and accessories to open the drum, I paid him 590 Rs visiting fees for which I didn't get receipt. Next that another engineer visited and without opening and cleaning the machine he advices to replace drum with new one with Rs 5000. The problem is just cleaning of drum but engineer didn't even bother to clean it and telling useless things, two different engineers are advising two different logics. Why same engineer who visited on first day didn't attend on second day. There is no transparency from IFB as I didn't get the GST receipt of visiting fees. IFB is a brand in Washing machine industry butter these service engineers are spoiling it's name. Had a worst experience, would not recommend IFB washing machine to anybody.

                  Hi, We have a Senator 6kg washing machine. Cust. Code # 1033559. For getting the AMC amount, the service center from Hyderabad were harassing us by calling several times and once we paid it, the technician visited us and said that there are few parts that needs replacement and we were told by both the Branch Manager Mr. Kishore (+91 [protected]) and later was confirmed by the Area Manager stating that the parts would be replaced.

                  It is so unfortunate that now when I called Mr. Kishore he was not only rude but also stated that he would have forgotten about us, which seems so irresponsible to hear from a Branch Manager. How come they were able to call us so many times and not being able to forget when they have to collect the AMC amount?

                  This I feel is complete cheating and harassment from the service center personnel here in Hyderabad. I feel a threat from IFB that the services going forward will not be done properly even after paying the AMC for 2 years. If this is the case, please do let me know so that I CAN WRITE THIS AMOUNT AS CHARITY AMOUNT WHILE FILING MY TAXES.

                    I have been using IFB Senorita 6.5KG for the past 5 years Recently I got some problem and raised a complaint with IFB for service. One of their service engineer came and said the PCB is faulty and needs replacement. He also mentioned that the price is Rs.4500/- but there will be no warranty at all.

                    Question.
                    1. What is the cost of PCB
                    2. Why there is NO warranty when i am busying a company product only.

                      Hello,

                      I recently had issue in my IFB senorita aqua sx 6 KG washing machine and i raised the service request with IFB Point.


                      The service engineer visited and said PCB board has to be replaced.

                      And also he suggested, to go for AMC thru which they will replace the suspension for free of cost. But he never told me, PCB board also comes free under AMC.

                      He said the cost for PCB board will be around 5000 and i agreed an paid around Rs. 4800 just for replacement.

                      And then i also paid 3000 for taking AMC and after a week, he came and replaced the suspension and water sensor ( he replaced sensor though old one was running fine and said it is free as part of AMC). And he asked me to raise separate service request for replacing suspension.


                      After these 2 pair part replacement, the machine started working fine.

                      And later i got a call from service center help desk to ask the feedback about the number of items that was replaced. That time, they told me, PCB board also comes under AMC.


                      The service engineer never told me this information and when i enquired the first service ticket was in cancelled status as per IFB support help desk.


                      I had paid totally around Rs. 8000, but actually all the replacements that was done( PCB board, suspension, water sensor) are seems to be free under AMC.


                      My IFB service ticket :

                      I really not happy with this service handling, kind of cheating clearly and really not worth to pay 8000 rupee for one time service for a machine which is worth of Rs 32k.

                        Iam a disappointed customer of IFB appliances.
                        I have IFB Front Load Washing Machine.My washing machine drum was not moving & stopped working by default and a complaint for the same was registered with customer service.The technician from DATAR Services visited to look in to & he suggested to change the part i.e ball bearings of the drum & even suggested to change the entire drum.We paid the charges of Rs 8000/- for a new drum and the service charges including the labour charges for the replacement of the drum.Technician installed the drum, however he forgot to install some of part associated for smoothly working of the machine.Technician visited again and installed the part after that the machine was not working properly where we again complaint to the company for resolving the issue and technician & Datar Services Owner replied since the parts have been replaced there will be some issues till the time the parts are smoothened but shockingly the washing machine came to dead end and stopped working completely.
                        Due to the mistake & half knowledge of the technician the other parts in the machine have been impacted and damaged by him.

                        We have been following up for the same with Datar services & IFB company however both are behaving in a very unethical and unprofessional way.We have been suffering for the mistakes done by thier respective technician.Instead of providing the services and resolving the issues we have been asked to pay the additional amount to resolve the same.

                        Surprisingly there is no response even from thier MD office / Chairman office.The mail has been marked to the them which is unanswered till now.

                        The part which has been replaced, I had already paid Rs 8000/- if there was issue with some other parts it should have been updated to me at the time when the technician had visited for the first time.

                        Iam not going to pay for the damages caused by your technician, please get the same fixed on priority.

                        I also want the compensation for trauma caused to me by your company and the technicians which have been hired by you. You guys have not responded to any of the mail marked to you since long. Company is taking the customers for a ride. Washing machine has come to a dead end because of mishandling by your technician.

                        We have been gone through the hell during the entire lockdown period as there was no domestic help permitted as per the covid guidelines and on top of that the washing machine have been damaged by your technicians.

                        Shockingly there is no reply on the mail which has been marked to your MD & Chairman of your company.

                        Also please clarify that why the damaged parts are not been handed over to the customer? When I raised this question to your service provider it was replied to me that this is a company policy. What kind of policy is this when I have already paid for the washing machine so the entire parts whether damaged or in any condition it belongs to me company doesn't have any right on the same. This clearly states that the drum which was replaced was good to work and the service provider has used the same drum somewhere else and has done the fraud.

                        Since there is no revert from the IFB company, it seems that the company is inefficient to take the ownership and responsibility of the damages which have been done by their technician.

                        It is so easy to ask the customer to pay and get the damages fixed but when the same is being asked by the customer to pay and compensate for the damages which have been done by their so called technicians they keep their mouth shut on this entire scenario.

                        Ifb company just loots the customer by charging them for the damages done by their technician, technician and service providers also belong to same category they do fraud and forgery with customer and company simply comes and safeguard them by asking the customer to pay for the damages.

                        If the customer has to pay for the damages done by your technician please clarify what kind of services IFB company is providing and who is going to take the responsibility and ownership for the damages done by your technician.

                        I need an immediate revert on this and get the damages fixed on your own & if it seems difficult for the company please provide an apology letter mentioning you irresponsibility and inefficiency to handle the damages done by your technicians, post receipt of the same from your end I will pay and get the damages fixed from my end.

                          I purchased a washing machine within two months machine started malfunctioning. Washing cycle not completing, getting stuck half way I complained several times ref [protected]. I complained several times some young technicians ( Freshly ITI completed apprentice) coming and opening machine and spending some time and scratching head. Machine status is same I send several reminders but problem is not solved. I asked for replacement of machine (Transport charge I can bear). Machine is under warranty. As the machine is not in usable condition, please arrange to replace the unit.

                            I rang up your customer care number at [protected] to get connected with one of your customer executives and informed the individual to speak in Bengali. Seeing she is unable to communicate with me, I politely asked her in English to hand over someone who speaks Bengali. The customer executive on the other side appeared pretty much reluctant to speak up with me.

                            is it because the executive feels ashamed to speak with a Bengali speaking customer? I guess a regional customer care language is always mandatory for all to speak. she could have guided me to communicate with a Bengali speaking executive. instead, she behaved with me as if I was a cold caller and disconnected the line. Is that the way how you treat your prime customers? So the commercials and advertisements you show on TV about customer relationship management is a bloody hoax, right?

                            Go on son, I'm waiting for your explanation.

                              I am a an IFB customer for last 15 years and have been very happy with machine and services too. But now I am very sorry to say that I am deeply disappointed n frustrated with Hyderabad customer care and services of IFB as in last 15 days twice we registered our complaint (asked by your people only to do for their misunderstanding of the model) and it has not been rectified till now. Now i have lost hope also as we give them a call everyday and they give a date n time too but don't come. I was told within 72 hrs it will get resolved. Never expected this kind of treatment from a reputed company. Our machine is in warranty so since authorized we are waiting...I don't know whether this complaint will be of any use, still trying to bring to the notice of head of the department. Kindly oblige. Thank you

                                I reported a complaint regarding washing machine to replace rusted cabinet, senetor Aqua 6kg, on 28th June 2020, they visited and said they will replace within two weeks, took Rs 1000/- advance, no proper reply, and again I lodged complaints four times regularly, they take the complaint and closes my complaint got sick of calling their technicians, finally they returned my advance and said cabinet is not available, IFB customer care simply closes the complaint without confirming the service has done or not, still my problem hasn’t got solved. So much pain they created for this.

                                Thank you they attended, I spent Rs 9625/-, for cabinet and other accessories, but the unit is giving problem, water is getting heated up, even though the knob is on ‘cold’, and water is not getting drained, They closed my tct, I have to make several calls, to make them visit, They said they are busy to attend other calls, still the problem is going on, they replaced cabinet on 30th but some problems I am getting, I spent lot of money and time now, please help me, I hope my problem will be solved.                                   It is been 3 months, we are facing issues with the washing machine. Even after complaining 5 times, it is not resolved. The engineer asked to put stablizer, I have not ever experienced if washine machine needs stablizer and also he said to switch on all the electrical appliances on home to reduce the voltage, if this machine is so much defective, we need it to be replaced as it is under warranty. Every time they send Engineer 'Kaushal Gautam' who has no knowledge and also replaced filters so many times and charged the same still the issue is not fixed, when we asked to change the engineer they dont have one, who says this model has a defect if it has a defect we want it to be replaced asap else get it fixed, below are complaint tickets-

                                    I purchased a Washing Machine through Amazon, and since I purchased a machine I am getting unwanted noise from the machine. As always I logged many complains to IFB and their one of the Engineer Named Alpesh who is from Ahmedabad, had put some kind of packing from board through which the noise stopped coming. Somehow later on I came to know about this and still the noise persist. I had called the Local Higher Authority but he is not convince about the defect in the product. Last Friday they changed the motor due to which additional noise started. And again I had to call customer care each and every day to get an update on this but no luck. Fed up of IFB appliance. Even their Engineers denies to visit and examine the issue for 2 hours. And they say they don't have time for this. Is this a joke? Even their Branch Manager says this is normal. Well i would like to understand whats the definition of normal is for the branch manager. Because, I don't see any normal thing in this.

                                    Even after changing the so called pump issue still persist. I guess IFB guys are unable to identify the issue and just providing useless solutions. Looks like they are only doing wastage of time so that warranty period gets expire.

                                      I have complained a 100 times to the service centre about the repair of my washing machine. There has been no reply by the local service provider. There is some minor problem with the door lock due to which my washing machine shows an error of f2. I have explained this to the service provider on the toll free no. They register my request but I get no response in return from the local service provider. I call them again and they tell me that the complaint has been canceled because I was not there. When in fact I am at my home all the time. They are making me regret buying a washing machine of 50 thousand and getting no service in exchange. It is some sort of vendetta that the company or their service provider has, I think which is forcing us to buy a new machine.
