My name is abhishek from solapur and my complaint is regarding ifb customer care service. Ihave washing machine of ifb elena aqua vx.
Last 2 month we're facing machine noise problem. Regarding this problem i called ifb care to provide service and visit.
Last 2 months i'm calling them but there is nothing happened.
They're not giving such services as they promised in their policy.

    My family is a high fan of ifb brand, so i purchased ifb top load washing machine (Model: sgdg 7.0 kg aqua) from grias, gudvacherry showroom on 25th may 2020.

    Over a period of 1 month we noticed some damage in the fabric after washing but was not sure if the damage was due to the washing machine. It took 2 months for us to realize that the damage in fabric was due to the washing machine after washing. (Damage images attached for reference)

    So i raised a complaint ticket on 25th july and the service engineer responded to the ticket the same day and escalated to the next level. I got a replacement id on 28th of july.

    It is almost 2 weeks time from raising the ticket, still my issue was not resolved and the machine replacement was not done. Today i am writing this mail with so much pain after repeated follow up with the local service engineer.

    Today my family's attitude towards the ifb brand is very annoying. I bought this machine for my wife after her maternity to help her household work, but ended up in burning my fingers.

    I almost lost inr 10000 worth cloths and fabrics which is of no use now.

    To my last hope i am writing this mail complaint with a hope that ifb team will respond to my request at the earliest.

      Ref: ticket no. [protected]/ chat no. Cb[protected].
      Complaint was booked for elena model washing machine registered under mobile no [protected] for disconnection of water inlet pipe.
      Actually the connecting plastic thread was broken which may cost only 20 to 40 rupees. However the mechanic changed the full set, charged rs.450/- and told it is available as full set only.
      The above seems to be deliberate looting of customers in the name of spare parts. Why plastic thread of inferior material is fixed and full set is changed when it breaks, instead of repairing while the machine is under warranty.
      The above is a sample only to show how customers are cheated in the name of spare parts.
      Even after several complaint s & reminders to ifb mail "[protected]@ifbglobal.com" they neither replied nor acknowledged the complaint.

        Hi

        Machine have 2 problem

        1) it keep blasting
        2) program of 1 hour take 2-3 hours to complete.

        After your technician visit, your technician has told to observe it for some days. But after next day the same problem started to occur. So we called your technician mr. Parag (Mob: [protected]) and informed the same. He told us to schedule next visit. I remind him again but no body has came. Now it is more than 10 days of visit but problem still persist.

        So can you please check up properly. Or replace the machine.

          Sir,
          My washing was repaired.
          The servicer says the pcb has to be replaced at the cost of 6000
          So what is the right price. Kindly give me the reply

            Sir, i am using 6.5 kg topload machine of ifb, technician from ifb visited and taken 590 as visiting fee
            He said pcb board is faulty and it is only available at the cost of rs. 6700 from ifb company only. No repair is possible and no compatible board is available
            Please confirm the facts because if i changed then it is 1/3 of full cost of machine not affordable
            If this is then no use of ifb,

              I have been complaining for my ifb since almost 2 months now. But they never answer your call. Then after taking the complaint they never come. This time literally i had to threat them then they sent one person from antek he checked and he simply said parts are not available. Its been 3 months and i am still waiting. This is their regular practise. Heard from many people. Never buy this 3rd class product. Samsung lg is way better interms to services. My contact is [protected]

                Dear team,

                I had a problem with ifb washing machine over a week back. I registered a complaint with the ifb customer care. The problem was that water was coming out from the front of the machine.

                A technician was sent after around 4-5 days and he suggested that the shock absorbers need to be changed. We agreed to pay price of 3300 for the shock absorbers change even though we found it to be a bit steep and even though i wondered how shock absorbers would cause the machine to leak water from the front. The machine was then started again and worked fine. Later on, after 1 hour or so the machine completely blanked out. The technician came again and did something to start the machine but then we had door open error. He tried with new door lock and new pcb but there was a trip and he suggested that even his new pcb got damaged as the door lock had an issue. He is now suggesting a new pcb and a new door lock to resolve the issue. Cost of the pcb is 6800 and door lock is 550. This means i will now spend over 10k inr for a problem that was door leakage from the front! Request you to kindly look into the issue as early as possible.

                  I have registered for a service for my washing machine (Senator 6kg front load out of warranty). How the issue went around is described in detail, without completing job.

                  24th jul : service request placed for repairs of w. Machine

                  24th /25th: repeated calls about the type of complaint and location details from suresh tilavalli ifb ([protected]) and technician ifb ([protected])

                  24th : desired details sent to technician and another person by name vinay vini ([protected]) calls that he will be attending

                  25th : vinay makes call and informs due to some urgent work he will depute a person.

                  26th : mr manoj ([protected]) contacts inquiring the location attends the house with one assistant, examines the w/machine and informs there is a leakage in the drum which needs repairs/ replacement. Indicates approx estimate of rs 7 to 8000 for replacement of drum. Further conveys this to be procure from other sources. It may take 2 -3 days two complete the job.

                  27th : calls and informs that i need to trasfer 5000/- providing his / others personal bank account details. Is the practice ifb asking to pay advance for service in some ones personal bank accounts. I found this to be wrong procedure which i never entertained in 12 yrs period for serving technicians from ifb. Suspecting a foul play i refused to transfer money.

                  From now onward the issue has stated. I made several calls to manoj,
                  Informed him to carry out the work and the amount will be payed after fitting the drum.
                  He insisted money transfer, which denied. He said unless the money is transferred work will not done, i asked them to return the drum taken. There was no positive response.

                  28th : several calls made to manoj. I insisted cash will be paid when the drum is repaired. He say his manager to be contacted if agrees will be done.

                  29th : contacted vinay who come out with a proposal the un repaired drum will be returned but will not installed. That proposal also i have accepted to get red of the headache.

                  30th : contacted vinay. Ne response. Contacted manoj. He conveys the new drum has been fitted. Then i said how come money is available with you, when you were insisting for the same. His message was, the drum from the demo piece was fitted. I said if so advance is required to procure from other sources.
                  He coneys i need to go to their office pay money and collect drum and fitting will not be done.

                  Is this service ifb provides to its customers.

                  I need immediate intervention in the matter by the appropriate authorities and resolve the matter.

                      Ifb industries — i have taken extended warranty but no one wants to honor its t&c

                      I have taken extended warranty but no one wants to honor its t& c for last one month i have contacted multiple time your contact center and people are saying they will come today or tomorrow but no one came. Also they keep closing my request without attending to my complaint.

                      I finally was in touch with one mr sudhakaran ([protected]). Who said he can return back my warranty money or i should buy a new one he will give me a discount.

                      Given the situation and the fund crunch i wanted my washing machine repaired so i can use it. He said he cannot service it. I asked him to drop a mail.. And i have followed it multiple time. He is not responding.

                      I have wasted 1 month of my warentee time doing this followups. Also with a non working machine.

                      Is this a reputed company like ifb working model. Take warranty and ten not service till warranty expires?

                      I have attached a screen shot of the messages i have sent him asking for a mail stating he cant honor warranty terms.

                          Madam/Sir,
                          This is to report issue with the service of our washing machine - Elena.
                          We have been a valued customer of IFB for more than 15 years. It was
                          surprising that when we complained about non-functioning of the door
                          earlier, the customer care person said that we were not closing the door
                          properly and he gave this reason till the time the machine was within the
                          warranty.
                          This time the customer care person - Ranjeet came and said there were issue
                          with motherboard, drain pump. So he billed around INR 8000 and besides
                          taking the service charge of INR 590, he took the additional sum to procure
                          parts. He did not give any receipt. Since then, he has not come to fix the
                          issue and now he is incommunicado. THIS HAS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK. PLEASE
                          LOOK INTO THIS ON AN URGENT BASIS. I AND MY WIFE ARE BOTH SENIOR CITIZENS
                          AND IT IS SURPRISING THAT DURING THE TOUGH TIMES OF A PANDEMIC, THE COMPANY
                          IS FORCING US TO GO THROUGH THIS TRAUMATIC EXPERIENCE. PLEASE REFUND MY
                          MONEY OR COME UP WITH A SUITABLE ALTERNATE OPTION. I AM EXPECTING A
                          POSITIVE RESPONSE WITHIN NEXT 48 HOURS OTHERWISE I WOULD BE FORCED TO FILE
                          A FIR OF FRAUD AND SEEK LEGAL RECOURSE.

                            I had buyed ifb washing and the model is neo diva sx.
                            The mechanic (Vasu) demanded to take stand also for that machine which we did not agreed but he convinced to take stand.
                            Now the stand is not compatable and the machine is vibrating alot and moving, we shoed the same to mechanic but he is not agreeing to their mistake and arguing in vulgar language.

                                Never buy an IFB washing machine.

                                The after sales service of IFB washing machines is the worst. My washing machine complaint ([protected] )is pending with them for the last three months but they are least bothered to attend, though I have AMC with IFB.

                                Their customer service helpline is not toll free and is useless. It costs you between 15 to 20 rupees per call as you are kept on hold for about 10 minutes to connect with their hopeless Customer Service Executives. These CSE just play the role of intermediaries to pass on your complaint and never follow up the complaint or give any feedback.

                                The mails to the Customer Service are never replied. The customers are left in lurch as to whom to contact to get the problem resolved.

                                They are cheaters.
                                See how they cheat the costumers. Once I had the problem with motor belt of my front load washing machine and I had no AMC. After every two months the belt would crack and the technician used to replace it without ascertaining the reason behind it. After replacing the belt for three times, the IFB technician said that the frequent failure of the belt is due to the shaft of the motor and it is required to be replaced and suggested to take the AMC. After renewing the contract same problem occurred. The technician, this time said that it is not the fault of the motor but of the shock absorbers and he replaced the shock absorbers and the problem of belt failure was solved.

                                So my sincere advice is not to buy IFB washing machine and turn to the brands with good after sales service.

                                I am abandoning IFB and would go for LG or Samsung!

                                  Ticket i'd [protected] lodged on 17 april. My washing machine pcb was dead. Despite several respect when they are going to replace is not being told by service personnel.
                                  I spoke to their services manager deepak, he assured me to look in to matter but he is not giving response.
                                  IFB Industries customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                      Dear sir,

                                      I had ordered ifb dishwasher detergent, ringe, & salt online through your website vide my order no[protected] on 12th june, 2020. Long time has been passed since then, the items yet to deliver to me. I had talked to your customer care many times however nothing happend inspite of their assurance. I have not seen such a poor customer service from a reputed company like ifb. If you are unable to deliver the items please refund my amount.

                                      I have procured ifb dishwasher detergent from the ifb store and the detergent quality is very bad this time. The powder is very fine..has got a strong chemical odour and doesn't clean well..detergent remains on the vessels. I feel it is fake. Please look into this as a reputed company IFB should not indulge in such activities.

                                        This is to inform you that i have registered the complaint for my microwave which is under warranty on 9th july 2020 (10:54 am) having ticket id [protected] (Registered mobile no - [protected]) & and the complaint is still not resolved so far.

                                        I would like to bring into your notice that after so many calls & reminders over telephone, an engineer visited the site on 20/7/20 and checked the microwave. On opening the outer cabinet of the mw it was found that the electric parts have turned burnt and black, so the engineer told that some parts (Heatingrods and tco) are to be replaced, and he will visit the site tomorrow and will change the required part.
                                        I also purchased a washing machine cover from him on that day for rs 600/- for which gajendra (Technician) refused to provide the invoice copy and left the premises.

                                        In the evening i got a call from your asm shubham (Mno - [protected]) and i requested him to get my mw replaced as almost all the inner electric parts are turned black & brown, to which he replied he will again call and will update after talking to his seniors. I also asked for the washing machine cover bill but didn't get any resolution from his side. Then he never called back.

                                        After than on 21/7/20 the whole day passed and nobody visited or contacted me through telephone, later on the next day i called vijyalaxmi (Mno - [protected]) and updated her about the whole scenario and then she took bsm on line with me, bsm asked me to give the microwave for two days in workshop and then after repairing the same they will return the product. When i declined to give my product to the workshop, bsm told me that after arranging the required part we will send an engineer on thursday (23/7/20) to my residence for repairing the product, to which i agreed.

                                        Then on 23/7/2020 no one visited the site and upon calling vijayalakshmi in the evening she was feeling totally helpless and has no clue of when the engineer is now gonna visit the site. But again casually she replied that the engineer will visit on friday now. I asked to reply to this by drafting a text message to me but she didn't listen to me and disconnected the call.

                                        Finally engineer around 4 pm on friday came with the part and started to repair the mw.
                                        The engineer that came (Gajendra and second one i don't know his name) didn't have sanitizers, hand gloves & shoe covers with them, and they started to repair the mw.
                                        When i checked the part that they were going to replace in my mw, it was a used part and was also rusted from sides (Pics attached). I was really shocked by this and was not able to believe that a company like ifb can do this and cheat its loyal customers like that.

                                        I also asked for my wm cover bill from the engineer, he provided a tampered / over written bill (Pic attached) & wrong amount. On this invoice fluid is used and the name and address is overwritten. Seems that this bill belongs to someone else and the same after over writing has been given to me. On enquiring the same, technician gajendra started misbehaving when i asked for the correct bill. He was very rude on his part.

                                        Then i again called vijaylaxmi and bsm (Mr prihar) was also online, they again committed to arrange the required part and assured to get this repaired on monday (27/7/20) instead of saturday (25/7/20).

                                        Now, i am totally feeling harassed and cheated by ifb and forced to take the matter in social media and further to any extent if not resolved.

                                        Seniors are requested to kindly look into and get this microwave replaced with a new one or refund my amount.

                                        It is really bad on ifb customer services :-

                                        1. No response on phone or e-mail.
                                        2. Even when a customer calls his issue is not taken care off and delayed. Even after promising no call back.
                                        3. Repeatedly commitment failure.
                                        4. Invoice not given to customers.
                                        5. Used / rusted parts are replaced under warranty. (What would have you guys done if send my mw to your workshop)??
                                        6. Customer satisfaction has no value in ifb.
                                        7. No use of sanitizer, hand gloves & shoe covers by technicians as a safety measure in this crucial time of covid - 19.
