I am using ifb washing machine-senorita 6.5kg and it has some technical problem due to which there is some kind of oil stain on the clothes that are being washed in it. I made a complaint for the same 3 times in the last 12 days but nobody has visited my place yet. All the complaints made were before the expiry of the warranty i. E 7/10/2019. It is requested to please look into this and send someone as early as possible.

I received one call from IFB and i had taken the same. Someone did visit my place yesterday and i hope as promised, the issue gets resolved soon.

    I purchased IFB SENORITA SX ultra white 6 KG on 28.02.2013. now the machine is under AMC from 17.11.2018 TO 16.11.2019.(vide invoice 4358 dated 17.11.2018 Sri Magizh Enterprises, Coimbatore- an IFB authorized Franchisee) The machine is frequently on fault from April 2019 to till date.The complaint docket numbers booked with IFB are listed below

    The complaints booked on 18.09.2019 and 07.10.2019 are not resolved till date in-spite of repeated reminders over phone to IFB company through Toll free numbers([protected], [protected]) and franchisee at Coimbatore( Phone No. [protected]). Due to frequent fault occurred in the Machine, I am unable to operate the machine resulting in, the very purpose for which it was purchased is defeated. I have invested a huge money.

    It is surprised to inform that when the washing is completed, the machine automatically intake water from the tap in the switch off condition of the machine. It is also noted that during the machine is in washing process, the door is automatically opened the fault of which is not attended or resolved by the IFB company.(Complaints booked on 18.09.2019 and 07.10.2019 not attended till date). The recorded videos are also uploaded for ready reference please.

    I am P.Arulmurugan from Chidambaram, Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu. I am one of the customers of IFB Washing Machine(serena SX 5.5kg). my mother was using this machine she is 71years old, On 13.05.2019, I applied for AMC. Now, my washing machine is under AMC period only. Few months back, there was a problem in my machine and I registered a complaint in customer care. A technician came and found out a motor problem in my machine, then fixed another motor few days later. But after installing another motor, he didn’t do any demonstration. After few minutes, I checked my machine but it didn’t work properly. Then, same day itself I immediately contacted technician, he came and viewed the status of the machine and told me he will fix it. But he didn’t fix it. It has been more than 3 months, till now there is no response from technician as well as customer care. Constantly, I am contacting customer care, they are also registering my complaint again and again but, they are not solving my problem. I am fed up with customer care. Please, sort out my problem quickly. If not, surely I will go to Consumer Court.

    Hello sir,

I am one of the customers of IFB Washing Machine(serena SX 5.5kg).this is second time e-mail for washing machine problem within one year. my mother was using this machine she is 71years old, On 13.05.2019, I applied for AMC. Now, my washing machine is under AMC period only. Few months back, there was a problem in my machine and I registered a complaint in customer care. A technician came and found out a board problem in my machine, then fixed another board few days later. But after installing same problem was found. He told to me this motor problem next time bring motor then check and resolve. After one month back no response to me so i booked complaint in customer care. I was booked other complaint in customer care then few week after one technician came he told this board problem, he was installed another board, he didn’t do full demonstration. After few minutes, I checked my machine but it didn’t work properly. Then, same day itself I immediately contacted technician, he came and viewed the status of the machine and told me he will fix it. But he didn’t fix it. It has been more than 5 (march2020) months, till now there is no response from technician as well as customer care. After long time back area manager (pravin) spoke to me .but no action taken for my problem and one time i spoke our service dealer(manikandan) no proper response to me. Constantly, I am contacting customer care, they are also registering my complaint again and again but, they are not solving my problem. I am fed up with customer care. Please, sort out my problem quickly. If not, surely I will go to Consumer Court.

        I recently encountered some issue with my ifb senorita touch panel. Touch panel of my ifb machine is not functioning properly. Some time it works and some time it doesn't despite trying it for many hours. Using ifb washing machine has became a big pain now.

        The worst part is, upon raising the complaint, first service engineer takes long to visit and after visiting, doesn't care much about our concern. Instead of getting the machine fixed, he suggests more on cleaning the touch panel properly with a dry cloth and do it every time before using it. The worst part is, he was rubbing the touch panel so badly, no one can even imagine. I believe, i have not purchased a good washing machine, rather i have purchased some junkyard stuff which needs rubbing before using it.

        Ifb service standard is damn pathetic and non comparable to other good brands. Not even comparable to local brands as even they really are doing well.

        I'm sharing the details of engineer who visited me for service and promised to get the same fixed in 2 days time and now 10 days have already been passed.

        I'm also sharing the complaint number for your reference and persual.

        I look forward to hear soon from ifb failing which force me to lodge a complaint in consumer desk.

          I have purchased ifb washing machine 2 yrs back
          In march 2017.. It was functioning well.
          Suddenly it stopped working n called customer care service. The technician told that the board has gone. N he replaced charging rs. 5000 towards the cost of the board. Now it started functioning.
          I want to know what exactly is covered in ifb warranty period.. N wht kind of spare parts covered.,
          Since the mention is made on the machine itself tht spare parts covered for 10 yrs n warranty 4 years

          My IFB washing machine is under AMC and I am in vidisha.In spite of the repeated request to the help line no service persons are attending the machine, The manager at vidisha, bhopal is not even attending the calls.I am not able to under stand the reasons for this casual attitude.No higher officials telephone numbers are available for the redresal.

            There was a phone call requesting routine machine service on 30/09/2019. Subsequently two staff members including mr. Bharath visited the same day and inspected the machine. Suggested to replace filter as alleged to find bad smell. While hesitating to accept the replacement during free warranty period, as cost of about rs. 2, 000 to be incurred, it was alleged to have replaced the same and raised bill without any ifb name in the invoice for rs. 2000 plus. The visited staff insisted on cash payment. Subsequently consented to receive payment only online to be transferred to individual name of a lady staff in their office. After it was refused to pay to any individual, the staff alleged to have restored the old filter within no time.
            Please investigate the staff visit to no. 41, conservancy, 6 & 7 cross, 6 & 7 main, malleswaram bangalore -560003, whether genuine, conduct of the staff to force the replacement of parts and receiving mode of payment.

              The ifb call centre arranged panel pick up for repair and guy took the same and get it repaired. Charged approx 6000 for the same and next day the machine again broke down. This time the engineer again took the panel for repair but it's been 15 days and we have no update.

              One should desist from buying ifb products.

                I sowjanya from ap, west godavari in tanuku, logged a complaint to ifb on 5.2.2019 with the complaint id.[protected]. One of the technician comes to my house and checked the machine and jointed a wire in that and go away. But machine is working on the same day and its off. After so many calls to that technician, but they are not responded. After some i logged another complaint on 27.6.2019 with ticket no.[protected]. On 5.7.2019 one technician visited and said that the spares are chargeable to replace in that machine. But the machine is in contentiously amc from 2015 on wards. One of your executive mr. Dilip called to me and used uncomplimentary language on me, because of my husband was a ex-service franchisee in that area. He said that my husband was replaced the parts into that oven and given a complaint and with out information that complaint was cancelled.
                On 13.8.2019 i again logged the complaint ticket no.[protected], this is also cancelled. And finally i logged a complaint on 19.09.2019 with the ticket no.[protected], still now the complaint was not attended.
                I request the authorities, please solve the issue within 24 hours or replace the microwave oven asap...

                  We are very much disappointed by ifb washing machine (Eva zx).
                  We had purchased in the month of july-2019 (Dharampeth branch - nagpur 440010) & in just 2 months some technical fault generated in machine.
                  Because of only power cut at the time of washing clothes in machine, machine didn't get started after power comes. We logged the issue in ifb toll free number, technician came, he checked then he is saying we need to order parts & it will take 6-7 days to receive parts.
                  I didn't understand how the machine stops working in just 2 months just because of power cut & why 6-7 days required for receiving parts. During power cut almost all times our tv, refrigerator were on & when power comes it works as normal. No issues comes in our other electronic devices after 4-5 years as well.

                    I have raised the compliant [protected] on 23rd september and till not the issue has not been addressed. I esculated to the francise head (Divya) and the area manager (Vignesh), but no proper response from anyone and they least bother even to respond to my calls or messages. Not expected these kind of worst response from the people who are in customer service. We are paying for the service but we are not even getting the response to our compliant. Really do not know what kind of service ifb is providing to the customers.

                        Our ifb washing machine is under amc and we are located in ponneri (Outskirt of chennai). We have registered a complaint on 01.09.2019 and a service person came to our home to attend this issue on 04.09.2019 but he couldn't resolve the issue as he didn't bring the part and told he will be back after 2 days. Our area service centre is located in red hills and it's manager and attender closed the complaint on 06.09.2019 without our knowledge and since then they have been telling us that they have ordered the parts and yet to receive it for more than one month (As of[protected]. As my parent don't know to read any messages the could not read the feedback message that has been sent when they close the complaint and been fooled by the local service centre people.

                        I have a few questions that ifb needs to address if they value their customer.

                        1) how can a service complain which is under amc can be closed without the knowledge of the customer? (Implication from this attitude of ifb service people is that amc which is once seen as a value addition to the ifb product is now being used to scam people as amc has been priced as much as a new semi-automatic washing machine)

                        2) our local service centre people were giving a reason for the delay as ifb don't have spare as it was an old machine. This give rise to a question that if ifb can't produce enough spares for the sold machines why do they haven't mentioned it in their warranty or amc booklet that "our spare get delayed in delivery if your machine model gets older than 10 years" and why do they have amc for those machines in the first place?

                        3) why can't i find any grievance redressal policy? (As your services like amc cost as much as your product so i suppose ifb is generating more revenue through this kind of services than by producing any quality product that has actual quality life period)

                          I bought "ifb tl-rdw 6.5 kg aqua fully automatic top loading washing machine" on[protected] and having 4 years warranty.

                          Washing machine is not working, so i called up service center and requested for complaint and the complaint no is : [protected] (Created on[protected]

                          From ifb technician visted and said issue with motherboard, i called service center and they said the product having only 2 years and asking for 4500 for motherboard + 650 rupees as service charge.

                          But when i look in to the ifb website or flipkart, still i see the machine has 4 years warranty.

                            Plastic color tearing or brusting in drum of machine. We bought it on 26th january. And had already changed it once by authorised dealer. Bt after 3 months it happens again. And this time we call on toll free. But coustmer executive didn't give any proper response as he said ifb made faulty pieces what we can do.

                            Dear sir/madam, i have purchased the amc contract and washing machine mother board had to be replaced by the service person. It has been more than a month and washing machine is still under repair. Being no 1 in the market, it is absolutely unacceptable to make customers wait for a month to get replacement even after paying hefty amounts for amc contracts. Washing machine is a daily need item and making customers wait for a month is unbelievable. I have made several calls to customer care and no one follows up and no one comes for checking. The visits by ifb personnel gets rescheduled automatically. Every time i make a call, i am asked to call somebody else and that number usually is not functional. This kind of harassment, illtreatment of customers is not acceptable.

                                I purchased the microwave oven last year and used it around 15 times during one year period. One day, when i tried to cook in it, no panel light glee. I just missed the one year warranty period because of delay in informing ifb. I lodged my complaint in their website. Their service franchisee representative came to my house without any information about service charges for visit. Later i wrote to ifb again requesting for free repair since i have hardly used it and just one year had passed. They replied with a promise to look into the matter. After two days again their authorised service company's technician came with a chinese circuit board. But after replacing, he asked me the price of the pcb plus service charges. I refused to pay rs 2000/- for the substandard chinese circuit board. The microwave is at present lying unused.

After two days again their authorised service company's technician came with a Chinese circuit board. But after replacing, he asked me the price of the PCB plus service charges.                                 I thought I was buying a reliable brand's reliable product. Instead, the product delivered to me stopped working after 15 cycles.                                 Sorry for the delay in responding because of limited access to internet during Puja. IFB's Kolkata office had contacted me on 3rd October 2019 and noted the details of my grievance, my concern and my request for free repair. The person had promised me that they would discuss internally within IFB this special case and my request for free of cost and revert. After that I have not received any communication nor any estimation cost.

                                Same status. IFB did not respond. Today I discovered that IFB has cheated me every way possible. The PCB's original date of manufacture is 2015.11.09, but a paper sticker is pasted on the PCB and it shows the date as 2018.06.09. So greedy has these companies become!

                                The service technician came this afternoon and replaced the PC board and the touchpad. Rs 2511/- paid in cash. The microwave oven is heating now.

                                Sad part is that the technician's finger got cut in the burr of the sheet metal frame of the appliance. I could help him only by giving soap, Savlon, cotton wool and tied a bandage to stop the bleeding. Hope he has taken medicine and better now.

                                      I am one of the ifb customer from last 9 years. As on now my washing machine is under amc period of 2 years.

                                      On last friday (20.09.2019) some noise was created in drum during running time, hence i have registered one service request on same day and request the service on next day (Saturday 21.09.2019).

                                      My register ticket no. Is [protected]. The customer care person was confirmed the ifb service people will come on saturday. Again i have called (Mobile no. [protected]) our area local ifb authorities service centre (Vishaka enterprise, selaiyur, east tambaram, chennai) and inform my registration of service request. That person was also confirmed the service will attend on next day.

                                      On second day, i had again to remembered our area local ifb authorities service centre (Vishaka enterprise, selaiyur, east tambaram, chennai) and inform my registration of service request. That person was also confirmed the service will attend on same day afternoon at 3pm.

                                      Still now the service person has not attend my problem. Why ifb given the confirmation on service date.

                                      Main reason is my area ifb service center people are not interested within amc machine.

                                      All the service people only for money maind and not for customer stratification.
