I have been cheated by ifb technician 3 times right from installation time. I will start with recent one.
1. My machine senator smart 8kg was not working in may. That was the last month of warranty. Raised complaint. Technician came and checked and said mother board is spoilt due to vibration, it's broken. Donno it will be covered in warranty will check n tell. After discussing so many times with customer care they said they have placed order for it will take some time to reach here. After week the technician came and replaced it. And took the old one with him. He did not show me the new pcb as i was not at home.
Today again it is spoilt. Got to know the pcb last time placed was old one not new one. Now ifb is not responding to my calls. They are disconnecting calls right away.
I would like to go to consumer court if the issue is not resolved
2. Technician comes saying for service and says water filter is old. He replaces the old water filter with new one and takes the old one with him
Before we even check wer is the old one they leave the house.
They keep pestering us to buy their ifb stuff.
3. My washing machine comes with a box below.
So while installing they have not fixed machine on box with screws. So its detached. Whenever machine vibrates it moves out from box and is misaligned. Now the ifb people say hey do not have screws. I have complained so many times and complaint gets closed without even rectifying.
It's just four years since i bout and so many issues. A normal lg washing machine lasts for minimum 10 years. I bought ifb thinking it will have no problems for 10 years at least.
And service and response to our issues is pathetic.

I want my issues to be resolved wlse i am going to consumer court on cheating case.
We do not have so much time to follow up again and again pls understand. And ifb technicians are bigtime frauds.

    My ifb washing machine "senorita dx" is under amc. The rep of ifb visited my house on 31 aug 19 and did not do any service but asked for rs. 1800/- for replacement of filter and rs. 170/- towards cost of consumable required for cleaning the machine. May the company clarify on these charges. The rep has not brought / was not equipped with any multimeter, sprit level etc required for servicing.

      Dear all,

      I'm writing this to inform the pathetic service and the malfunction of the product ifb dishwasher.
      We are customer of bangalore purchased an ifb sx dishwasher product from btm layout branch attended by sales person nikhil purchased in the month of jan 2019.
      The product is still under warranty and the product door is malfunction,
      The door spring has broken and the service person responsible gopal krishnan and the area manager for south bangalore mr santosh has been least responsible in attending to this issue.

      We had raised the ticket to attend the service person came over took the pictures and mentioned that such a problem has never occurred in the dishwasher and will take time to get the spare part for the same.

      The area manager even after several followups has been least responsible to update us on the same.

      The concern i am raising here is that this machine is faulty and i want the machine replaced at the earliest due to the delay of the service person and area manager. And such a problem has never occurred
      If the part has to be replaced the entire alignment of the machine is lost.

      We have not got the machine for free, we have paid our hard earned money and want the product replaced and not the part.

The product was immediately replaced the next day and Mr Ramakrishna coordinated well and the quality manager-Mr Sishu Tiwari accompanied to ensure to the product check is done and complete . Thanks to the team.Hoping we face no more complications with the product.

        I am using elena aqua 6kg washing machine from the last 4 years but now i am facing a problem of barring and drum replacement with no warranty... I keep calling the executives for the same but they keep delaying us with the excuses.. If this continues i will have to switch this company's product usage and also not to recommend anyone for this company...

          Hi,
          I had raised a ticket to ifb team dated - aug-19 and got a ticket no - [protected]. Now its 27th aug till now my micro oven got repaired as of now.

          My question is when it is in warranty only my issue it is not resolved then what will be position for which is not in under warraty.
          Such a worst response i havent come acoss in my life.

          Going forward i sincerely doesn't recommend ifb to any one because of service issue.

            We have purchased ifb washing machine (Diva aqua, vx, 6 kg) in november 2018. We are experiencing problems with this machine as our valuable clothes are being torn. I have raised a complaint with the ifb. The ifb technician attended said the drum and bearings of the machine needs to be replaced. This machine is under 4 years warranty. It's not even an year passed, we are experiencing a lot many issues as our valuable clothes are being torn. I have no faith on their service personnel as they they don't seem to be ifb employees and third party (Ifb approved persons). Hence, i request you either attend a genuine ifb service executive or replace the machine as a whole with a new one.
            Please respond immediately as the problem is huge and we are losing our valuable clothes.

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            The issue still persists and it's not resolved yet. They have replaced the rubber and told that If the problem persisted, they would replace the drum the next time. But, we are still experiencing the issue (clothes are being torn) and I have raised another complaint this time with IFB. Instead of replacing the drum this time, they have started playing games with us. They said, "problem is with the clothes and programs you chose". How come they say like that after seeing these many incidents and replaced the rubber. This shows their irresponsible and indecent behavior towards customer.
            I have purchased IFB only for it's known customer service. These people service is terrible and don't have the manners to talk properly.

            I am looking for a replacement of the drum or the machine. Please fix the machine soon or have to register a complaint with the consumer forum.

            We have registered a complaint to IFB Customer Service Center for my IFB Microwave 23BC4 for not working of Start/ Express Switch on 08.08.19. A technician came to attend the complain and told that he has no Spare / Key Pad and assure that he will come shortly to repair.

            Till now the problem is not resolved. What should we do?

                I bought ifb 23 l microwave (23sc3) through flipkart online portal. Installation guy came and found scratch in inner wall. Gave me job sheet mentioning that scratch inside the machine. It's been more than 7 days now, no replacement happened. Flipkart rejected the return request saying seller rejected the replacement. Ifb area manager told that it's flipkart who will replace it. No proper response from ifb customer care team as well.

                  Washing machine model (Front door) - ifb elite aqua sx 7kg - 1200 rpm
                  For a small problem (Sensor) technician is asking to change the mother board.
                  In the board every button is working except the start button.
                  I rejected the board replacement because, the only problem is start button not working.
                  I discussed this problem with the local technicians. They told, no need to replace the mother board and this can be done by changing the pcu on mother board.
                  Ifb technicians and ifb customer support are insisting that changing the mother board is mandatory.
                  Even local technicians are providing service with low cost but your company technicians are charging heavily for a small work.

                  After raising the complaint regarding the issue i faced, i got a call from regional manager of ifb.
                  He confirmed that, "as per company norms, we won't repair the machine, we have to replace the total board even if the problem is in one part of the board".
                  After the call, i got a doubt - why don't you disclose these type of norms before purchasing the machine..?
                  Can you show your company norms which say — "we won't repair the small problems, you have to replace the entire part".
                  I haven't seen anywhere these types of conditions - if a small problem occurs, we have to replace the total.
                  And he is arguing like, if any local technician repairs the machine and later if the machine will get short circuit, then who is responsible, so we are replacing the total part.
                  I don't understand why you are unable to repair the small problems, while normal technicians are able to repair.
                  Moreover, the regional manager is insisting me — "you have to take amc, then these types of problems will be
                  Covered under warranty"; ifb technicians already told me that these problems will not be covered in warranty because, parts of the machine which we are able to touch won't be covered under the amc policy.

                  You gave the estimation for the board replacement and amc, not for repair.
                  Replacement of board is not the repair. If you work anything without change of the current board is called repair.
                  If you can repair the machine why should i raise the complaint.
                  Kindly let me know if you given any price to repair.

                  I discussed with you multiple times for that problem but there is no use, i didn't get any support from the international company, what is use of your technicians even local technicians are doing better than you.
                  Please find attachment for the bill to that repair.
                  What is the use of choosing international brand instead of routine.
                  What a worst support by ifb.

                  1005349960 Is the request number solved with our proper fix and the issue reoccured next day and have another service request. Service executive force to close the request with good rating as they take the picture of the rating we give this is do stupid.
                  My next service request 1005355697 was resolved to day with replacing the parts and charging 2260 for the product that is under warranty for next two years but the bill was not provided even after asking for it
                  You can get my contact number and address from the ticket number as I can’t post personal details online I need the bill for the parts that they changed technician told he will Whatsapp the bill but not received or getting updated.

                    We had very bad/worst experience with ifb service, we had and emergency issue with our washing machine, water flow inside the machine did not stop during washing so we have raised a complaint #[protected] dated : 16th aug 2019. 19th august 2019 one technician turned up after my personal request and examined the machine and said everything is fine.

                    Once he went out and we tried and faced the same problem and called him and he said he will do next day. But, next day he came suddenly without calling when we were out of house again i called and he told he would come next day but till now no one turned up to take care of this. We were tracking the complaint daily and no one are attending the complaint till date. We are calling ifb customer care daily and they are conveying that they we will forward the complaint to higher authorities. Even, we have called local in charge, franchise and but none of them responded back. We are very much disappointed and facing problem w. R. T service.                         We registered a complaint for our IFB washing machine. A service technician attended the fault after 2 days of registering the complaint. He replaced inlet hose, door lock etc., and since the machine was not working he later informed that he will replace the door. Even after several reminders it is pending. SERVICE IS VERY POOR. IFB must resolve at the earliest.

                          I am a hapless customer who foolishly took an AMC a few months back. Now I have lost money and my peace of mind and am saddled with a dishwasher that is good only for scrap value.
                          I keep calling the service centre tirelessly as my dishwasher is leaking. All the salt seems to be coming out. Inspite of several reminders and subsequent promises to resolve the complaint, nothing happens. No service person calls or attends. And when I checked my ticket status today, it always shows as resolved.
                          Interestingly, when I had to replace a part that was out of AMC where I had to make payment, the service person came the very NEXT DAY.
                          So the modus operandi is very clear. Once the customer buys the AMC, then God save him. There will be NO SERVICE. And to my utter shock, the service centre and the customer care centre are hands in glove and CLOSE THE COMPLAINT WITHOUT RESOLUTION.
                          And they never send the ticket details by mail or sms!!!
                          After I threatened to go to consumer court only, they disclosed the ticket number. HA!!!
                          So my dear prospective customers of IFB, PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS FRAUD COMPANY

                          now the machine is leaking so much that not only the kitchen but the adjoining hall is also getting flooded because of the leakage
                          And after so many dismantling and repair by your so called engineer, now the door doesnt open and close properly
                          it opens with a screeching sound and now thanks to your AMC my the machine is totally unusable
                          I need a resolution please

                            I've purchased a washing machine of IFB & using since 2017.
                            Model - IFB TL-SDG 7.0 KG AQUA.

                            It was working fantastic. Suddenly few days ago, it stopped working & when we asked for serviceman, we got to know that PANEL board is damaged. We were asked to replace the panel board & told that it will cost you INR 6340 + taxes & service charges of INR 700 will be charged extra.

                            Request for your help as this being critical issue & needs to be resolved immediately.

                              Authorized ifb service guy replaced front drum seal rubber on leaking issuem but have found its kind of local and issue closing the front door. We reported the issue ro the service guys but no proper response. Bofore service the machine was good except leakage issue. The service guy charged me 2500 for rubber and 600 as service chagers.. But service was not upto the mark. He struggled a lot in connecting back the main motor.

                                With in the months it's touch screen has not been working, after that repeated complaints they changed the boards door sensors something and also suggested some ifb stabilizer some that after the same problem program error, then the same program error door display showing now. I think it's better to lodge a consumer complaint in the court is better to register the complaints here.

                                  I am an ifb customer (Ifb elena aqua vx).
                                  I raised issue ([protected]) on 27th july 2019.
                                  The technician visited and said he will repair the next day.
                                  On 31st i got a message that issue is resolved.
                                  I complained and got to know technician wrote 'the issue is resolved' in the ticket.
                                  They raised another ticket ([protected]) for the same issue.
                                  After that i did many number of support calls to ifb and no action was taken.
                                  Still its pending.
                                  Its in warranty and i paid rs.2442 for the warranty extention.

                                  Since washing machine is a critical thing for our day to day life and no follow up is happening from your side on the issue, i am going to buy a new washing machine and moving legally against you for cheating me.

                                    Dear sir / madam,

                                    On 13.08.2019, ifb washing machine service engineer and replaced water in-let valve and provided water filter at the cost of rs. 1850/-. The mechanic re-iterated that the water in-let valve is free-of-cost (Rs. 1020/-) as it is under warranty. The work was completed and paid rs. 2190/- for the charges for water filter & cleaning powder rs. 340/-. During service, the mechanic said that the service charge of rs. 350/- and water in-let valve cost rs. 1020/- is free. Bill was provided by the mechanic for rs. 2190/-.

                                    On 14th, the mechanic called and informed that my washing machine is out of warranty and asked to pay the amount for water in-let valve & service charges.

                                    Today, the mechanic reached my home and started shouting on payment. We agreed to return the water filter and to receive the different amount. Now the mechanic started telling that the cost of the water in-let valve rs. 1800/- and the service charge as rs. 590/-. How suddenly the cost shall improve?

                                    It is noted that the mechanic is having 15 years of service and does not know the warranty period. This clearly shows that the mechanic is having cheating mentality.

                                    Also the mechanic did not provide any bill for the payment for service charges. The water-filter was taken back by the mechanic. Also the mechanic threatened that the water in-let valve shall be removed. Also he threatened that he shall bring 4 or 5 persons to argue with me. How can he do like that? Is mechanic behave like this? Is this way of doing customer service?

                                    It is noted that the mechanic initially doing service informing the lesser cost and once the job is over, they started demanding more charges which is not accepted.

                                    The mechanic started shouting and threatening that he shall complaints against me. Being a house-maker lady, how can he shout and threaten me?

                                    Also threatening that all the water in-let valve shall be removed and taken-back with them. Is it right to do so?

                                    Please explain the above points and take corrective action on such mechanic such that the fellow should behave in correct manner with due respect.

                                    Is this method of customer service by ifb - a big renowned company? Please correct it.

                                    A line of action taken needs to be informed to me.

                                      I have purchased a ifb 6.5 kg fully-automatic top loading washing machine (Tl-rdw 6.5kg aqua, ivory) on 23/01/2019 from amazon.in.

                                      Since 9/07/2019 it is not working, i have tried to reach via call but there was no response from them. Thus i decided to reach via email and wrote several emails and got a complaint number [protected], but without solving my issue they closed my ticket.

                                      Today i contacted amazon for help but they require service denial number and i don't have that as they are not responding.

                                      Now. I am helpless there is no resolution of my complaint.
