I had Purchased a IFB Dishwasher from CSD bearing number SN;[protected]. The machine has been Malfunctioning for quite some time, with the power not coming on immediately, at times the wait is over a few hours. We therefore finally complained to Customer Care on 03 Dec19
The technician who came to inspect has stated that the PCB (Power Circuit Board ) requires replacement with Cost Implications since out of warranty
The machine has been very sparingly used . I am surprised that the it has developed such a major problem. There appears to be some issue with the present PCB of the Machine, as is evident from the large number of Complaints received about malfunctioning of PCB. This I feel the Company needs to address immediately.
Meantime I would request for re- inspection and free replacement of the Defective PCB in our Dishwasher.

Regret the Complaint has not been resolved till date. We did receive a call from the Company, wherein after hearing our Complaint asked us to hold the Line while the matter was been consulted. After about five minutes the line was disconnected. There has been no further progress The problem is UNRESOLVED

It’s been two weeks (14days) since I made the Complaint and made a number reminders thereafter. There has been no Iresponse whatsoever.
I am totally disappointed with the product, the utterly disappointing after sale service and ineffecient Customer Care.
The Complaint is requested to be looked into urgently.

The executive at the other end had assured me that they would revert after taking up the matter at appropriate level since I had desired re inspection and replacement without cost, since the PCB was defective

I have received no repose from the Company

As my concerns have not been addressed
I have only received one call with the assurance that they would revert to me
I am still WAITING!!
I would like to have my Dishwasher re-inspected and if the PCB(Power Circuit Board) is defective, the cause needs to be INVESTIGATED by Engineering.
I cannot understand how a product of a REPUTED COMPANY like IFB should develop SNAGS so early
The HIGHER MANAGEMENT of the Company needs look into this issue!!

I would like to further add that the phone call we received today from your support team was disconnected after keeping me on hold. This was after we had to repeat the whole ordeal to your support team. This is extremely unprofessional and does not reflect the bare minimum we expect as consumers of IFB products and services.

    Washing machine i am using is having persistent problem since my date of purchase. Initially rinse and spin button was not working. Don't know some authorized fellow came many a times but could not give any permanent solution. Now the machine stopped working totally. I booked complain for the same on 30.11.2019. Today i. E., on 02.12.2019 two persons from ifb came and told motor along with pcb may be required to be replaced. Total cost would be at rs.7500/- to rs.8500/-. My point is company people did not repair within warranty period but now when warranty period over they are asking for cost of motor and pcb. May be initially the product given was one of the damaged machine

      Hello,

      I stay in goa, and i relocated to a place 10km away from my previous home. The technician who visited my new place (On 27 nov) to reinstall my ifb washing machine said that he will have to visit again as the drainage pipe is not long enough and the electric socket isn't of the right model, and that he'll bring the required items (For which i've to pay). He has not visited me again yet. I have paid for the service (Rs 590). Kindly look into the matter.

        I am complaining about your staff mr. Vaibhav tarapure from akola head quarter.
        He is very unprofessional and arrogant in talking with the client. For only 40rs matter, he is talking like rubbish on phone. The company with this high reputation have such a low grade staff, i cant understand. And the language of this staff is like a roadside vendor. I am waiting for your satisfactory reply..

            I have purchased the ifb serena sx 5.5, around 9 years.in sep 2019 i took the new amc. But last 10 days back we got the internal electrical circuit and i raised the request and they told electrical circuit needs to replace. That time they told it will be cover in amc. When the engineer came and replace the electrical circuit. Now they are telling it will not cover in amc and demanding for rs 1000+. I called ifb customer care, but they are telling service personal only knows those conditions and not giving any proper information.

            Please do the needful.

            I have purchased the IFB Serena SX 5.5, around 9 years back. In Sep 2019 I took the new AMC.                 ifb service issue

                Hi team,

                We have purchased the ifb front loading washing machine on 30th sep 2019 from reliance digital. And machine was delivered at home after 3 days. Then after 2 days machine was installed. Then next 10 days we are in follow up with ifb team for complete demo of machine.

                After that we are facing pr5 error with machine from 1 month even more than 1 month. 2-3 times case was logged with ifb. 8-10 different...

                Hi team,

                I am writing this to express my worst experience with ifb washing machine customer service. I had an ifb front loaded washing machine which still fall under warranty (Amc covered). We had a few issue in machine for which we raised a complin about an year ago. Every time we call to get the status "give us 24 hrs technician will reach you" which never happens. So following are the thing which i have to understand

                1. Is it only intimating the service center is the job of customer service (Or to follow up with them to make sure the sisssue is resolved)

                2. Service center claims that parts were not ready yet. (Is that a so complex part which requires about an year to manufacture)

                3. Treating the customers as like we are begging for help (Literally got to hear from customer service that " we will do once we get the part that's it and disconnect the call when customer is speaking). We are claiming for what we pay.

                4. Are the local services stations are under monitoring of ifb?

                Looking for really for atleast this mail.

                  My washing machine was purchased in 2008, it was working perfectly without any techincal help or servicing until 2018.in 2018 techinican visited for service & henceforth i took up amc, replaced some pipes, timer, etc. Now currently having taken 2 yrs comprehensive amc which will expire in 2021.
                  Few days back, i registered an issue with ifb customer care for water leaking while machine is in operation. At first a technician from grs solutions, pai layout, bangalore visited, he changed the suspension which was covered under amc, he told to replace 2 rubber fittings which costed rs.750 (Not covered under amc). After reassembling machine, found that water leaking problem is not solved! He opened machine again and found inside outlet pipe is leaking.
                  Later he brought a replacement pipe from office, but it was not of correct size. So he put thread & tape & fixed the existing leaking pipe. When he assembled back the machine, we found that the start button has been damaged by him. The on/ off function had stopped functioning, & light always glowing. This button was working perfectly before he came to check the appliance! When we asked him to look into it, he never bothered & left & marked the ticket as resolved!
                  I raised the issue once again with customer care. A new technician visited & he pulled the machine out with lot of force, which caused the pipe connected to water supply at the back to dismantle & all water gushing out.
                  He replaced the faulty outlet pipe with a new pipe, but never informed me that it is chargeable, i. E not covered under amc. Next he tried to fix back the pipe that had opened at back & he was unable to fix it. He removed the filter (Aqua softener or so they call it), & informed that both pipe & filter needs to be changed as its threading is all gone!
                  This issue was never there previously, he had pulled out the machine so roughly and caused this damage! And now we have to pay for his errors! We had already replaced this filter back in jan-2019. Not even 10 months over & now he is making us to purchase new filter again for rs. 1850 just because he spoilt it and he is not able to fix it back. We would have easily managed with the existing filter another 5 years if not for his mishandling!!!
                  When i i telephoned the grs solutions service manager, he guaranteed that filter functions for 2 yrs & definitely 1 yr+. He assured me that the unnecessary filter sale amount will be refunded back. However, when technician visited, he suggested to keep the new replaced filter, so in effect no refund of my rs. 1850.

                  We are very very disappointed with this type of service & causing a hole in customer pocket with technician mishandling, lack of knowledge & sheer lack of experience.

                  What upsets me the most is that from when i bought the appliance in 2008 until 2018, machine worked perfectly without any issues. Even the filter worked 10 yrs for me without causing any issue. now they made me to change filter 2 times in span of 10 months!!!

                  Ever since grs solutions came to our service, we have ended up spending almost same amount as cost of appliance which we had paid rs. 20, 000 (From 2018 to 2019- last 2 years time - grs solutions charged us towards servicing, replacing parts, amc, etc amounting to rs. 18, 000).

                  Kind attention to other customers: if you happen to read this complaint, pls dont take up their amc, its total waste of money and cheating customers.
                  When they visit for service, they will damage perfectly working parts, ask us and infact convince us to change parts which are not covered under amc. Total total waste of money!

                    I am writing here to complain about the horrible experience we had with ifb bangalore. We took a demo of dishwasher and happy with the product, we decided to buy it. However, when we started using the product we found it did not operate as demo one. The wash quality was poor and it spillls the detergent over to the utensils. Also, the entire machine is dirty after every wash.

                    So, we complained ifb after 2 days and they assured someone will visit. The engineer visited and confirmed the product is faulty and he raised a request for replacement.

                    However, we heard nothing from ifb for next couple of weeks. After several follow ups, they said we would like to see the machine again. The engineer who visited this time mentioned the product is fine and this is how it works. He mentioned we cannot put big utensils or plates in front. I told him it wasn't the case in demo product as we've used it in a similar way for 3 days but he wasn't ready to listen anything.

                    I suggested him to try the machine the way he wants. He started a 50 minute wash cycle and left. He wasn't kind enough to wait for the entire cycle to complete. I even sent him pictures that the problem is still there but he did not respond to any of my messages.

                    Now they have stopped taking our calls. It's been more than a month now i'm struggling with this piece of crap.

                    The ifb filed engineers are not skilled enough to troubleshoot the dishwashers.

                    Please do not buy dishwashers from ifb. The product is poor and the service is worse.

                      Hi i have purchased 9/7in 2013 and faced main circuit board problem several times. But now there is no spare parts available and no support as promised by ifb is breached. It's just 6years completed hence i will be registering consumer court in couple of days.

                      Zonal person proposed 30% off to buy wm and dryer which will cost again 50k but if we get parts it will be around 8i

                      Please guide me or ifb can take it as seriously

                        I am using elena aqua 6kg washing machine from the last 5 yrs.. It's knob needs to be replaced under an amc taken around 3 months back... 2 times the executives had visited with a wrong sized knob after so many calls. They keep on giving excuses all the time... What is an amc if customer has to be charged for any product internal or external... I am disappointed with the reluctant behaviour of ifb team... Very bad customer service i strongly recommend everyone not to buy ifb products...

                          Our ifb washing machine stopped working within the warranty period. The complaint we raised with ticket no:[protected]. They took almost more than month to fix this saying part is not available. We had to call them daily. Even they gave us service center manager numbers, they were also careless. Later one guy named shankar he came in and fixed it partially and told us to close ticket. He told he will come back once part is available. Since we closed this ticket he did not bother to come back and repair. Also i wrote mail to ifb support, i did not get any response from them. This is very poor service from ifb. I will never ever buy or suggest to any body to buy # ifp products. You can check ticket logs how may times we have to call you just ti know the status. We are not beggers ifb.

                          This is getting worse. The same technician (name: shankar) visited yesterday(28-nov-2019). Even though he brought part to be replaced, was not able to fix it. As he got wrong part. From the begining of the issue he is only checking the machine. Is he not capable of identifying the issue and get right parts before visiting customer?He was not co-operating whenever we ask questions. It would be better if you can monitor this issue closely. I would request you send better techinician other than the same guy with name shankar.Also the washing machine is operating as it was operating earlier. If we set for 1hr and 30 mins is done, in case power goes of it again starts from beginning to 1hr.

                            Sir; i mr. Dharma rajan vk purchased a 30 l convection rotassary microwave oven and it was delivered exactly one month now... On 25 oct 2019. On 27 ifb service technician assisted to install and check.. But while opening we found two items were missing.
                            1. Rotassary rod.. Item ser 7 of parts list
                            2. Handle, item ser 12 of parts list
                            Made so many comlaints / feedback verbally and by mail also, but no one responded back. But last week i got a office replying to me from amazone. Asked me to approach ifb customer care.
                            3. I could manage a customer request number : [protected].
                            On approach next day for service assistance... The technician say ifb is not responsible. You approach amazone.
                            4. Then i approach mr malvin m regional manager for customer care support and he told he will look in to but since last 7 days again no action.
                            5. Now what i should do... Wait for the missing items?? Or go to a consumer court??

                              I myself have come across couple of incidents where the technician is very keen to make the customer opt for AMC rather than finding the best solution. the customer never knows the cost of spare parts. In my case the the technician asked me to replace the drain pump and it costs around 3000 rs. I have inquired the customer care representative to find the actual cost. But he himself doesn't know the price of it. eventually we need to believe what the technician said. He said AMC for an year costs around 3k. So having no choice we opted for AMC. But when i see amazon and other websites its coming around 1200 to 1500. God knows. More over to just find the technical fault the technician charging around 590 rs. Hats-off to IFB. Customers will never buy your products again.

                                    We had paid AMC cost for our convenience for such failure and we need machine operation to make life easy. Otherwise its almost useless. No local support on sunday.
