It has been a very frequent issue with this appliance. Just keeps saying 'door' and has been attended to just 2 days ago by an ifb official. He was on visit for the due service but he didn't fix this door error and advised to raise a complaint. Over years this issue has kept popping up, i seriously request you to provide a permanent resolution to this.

The estimate is very high. And this is a repeat complaint.
If I just Google for the Front Load Door Lock, the first page shows part price as Rs.300, while your estimate is about Rs.1500, so your service is just not worthy as despite replacing it multiple times neither is the serviced part reliable nor cost effective.
Even UrbanClap estimate is cheaper, plus the part is way cheap if I buy myself.

      I called this no [protected], the person, on the other hand, claimed to be ifb service guy took my complaint and visited me within a couple of days to repair ifb oven, he took the part repaired it and came back after 2days with 6months of warranty on the repaired part and charged me rs. 3000, the repaired part didn't even last for a day and now he has blocked my number. I called from a different no still he is claiming to be an ifb guy. He is a fraud and listed on many genuine websites like justdial.

      What complaint no do you require, I already informed you he was fake IFB agent working under your company name. They even have their websites and no, at least take them down. I have also attached their fake bills.

        I own a ifb front load washing machine and currently i've my amc running for the same. Within the past 3-4 months my washing machine is having frequent complaints and even though i've taken amc, they are charging me heavily for the repairing.. The filter itself which costed me around 2600rs got damaged in 3-4months usage... Not only ifb is charging unnecessarily for the repairs, they are not providing quality products.

        Today i received a call from IFb regarding my complaint. The caller informed me that my issue will be addressed at the earliest (today itself) and a senior technician/executive (not the same technician who attended first) will connect with me to resolve the problem. Now it is nearly evening and none other than the technician who attended the case first have called me. This technician was enquiring about why i've given negative remarks for him. My case is NOT YET attended by any of the senior technicians as they have promised and also they informed that they don't service on weekends. With such a wonderful customer care from IFB, i guess i will be left with no other option than using this dump machine invented by IFB as a waste bin. Atleast that works on amc n high bills i guess.

        I've done 1 round of washing in the machine and it is working fine. Thanks for the service IFB..i hope your product doesn't bring me back here anymore. :)

          Receiving message as service issue resolved, but no service request raised by me. This is happening once in three months. Service agency raise tickets on their own and close with comment issue resolved. Though i have mailed to ifb cusotmercare, still it is happening. I called the concern agency number and asked why this happened, they replied ifb automatically generating tickets, and we close this with issue resolved.

          Is this fair? It is a largest company doing silly things?

            I had called on ifb toll free number to service my ac as it was not cooling properly. The guys from ifb came and filled gas and charged around 2500 bucks. Since there was not much improvement, i again called on the toll free number and again the guys came and did something and charged another 350 bucks for the visit. After sometime, water started leaking inside the room and cooling went down. I again called on the number and the guys this time replaced the capacitor which i still think has no fault in it. This time again i was charged around 2000 bucks. The technicians seemed amateur and lacked technical know-how. They even broke the indoor unit. Ive paid more than 5000 to a bunch of # just because they work for ifb. I liked my ac very much just like so many other ifb appliances that i possess. But the ac has been reduced to a piece of crap. Since last few months i'm sleeping with buckets inside my bedroom. My biggest fault was to call the in toll free number. Thanks to the third grade customer service, i promise that i won't be buying any ifb appliance for the rest of my life.in case the company feels that one individual customer is also important, it can still redeem itself.

              I have purchased IFB Cut out. This shows "HI" even if the voltage is 240 V. This IFB voltage protective device is purchased at the time of installation of my new IFB washing machine model Executive Plus on[protected].                 I have been complaining since 15 days on ifb helpline for servicing my washing machine and clothers dryers. Even though ticket no is given the technicians never visit and everytime i call the helpline they tell that they will put a request again for urgent servicing.

                I have amc of the machine and still this is the class of response that is givcen. It is never told when we buy that the ifb service will not be there in case of problem.in the clothes dryer there is burning smell of wire and i lodged complaint for urgent service. This kind of poor and unresponsive service is of ifb since years now!

                  With due respect I beg to state the following lines for your kind information and orders please. I purchased IFB AC from khosla electronics Madhyamgram on 29.04.2019 and installed on 03.05.19 vide order no.01122/1920/01589 in the name of Arpita Sarkar. Immediately after installation it is not working properly due to cooling problem as well as condenser leakage. After installation continous 02 months contacted with IFB authority as telephone provided by them (No.[protected]) as well as contacted with Khosla Electronic Madhyamgram. 03 times they send their representative and they told the manufacturing problem i.e. cooling problem and required to be replace it. But after repeated request they dont replaced it till date. In this regard, it also intimated that the company not register the complaint officially after repeated request and after lapses 02 months they told that we dont lodged any complaint but we have all the call details as a prove of evidence as on the day of installation we are continous complaint them.

                    I purchased ifb washing machine and in a month the panel started acting weird and they replaced it again in 2 months the same thing happened and they send the technician the person was so rude he is like jo bhi chale usko chala lo that way he responds to the complain
                    Then some senior person came and he said fitting nai kiya hai bande ne abhi mai aacha kar dunga but again the same problem in this process the warranty is gone and i am stuck with this thing
                    If the product is faulty in the first month itself then how can the warranty can sustain
                    It was better i would have taken second hand machine only or have gone for highly recommend siemens or bosch
                    Atleast there should be some kind of assurance when we buy product from a reputed company

                        A complaint was lodged on 2nd of July in an IFB authorized dealership regarding a broken part of my refrigerator. I was assured a redressal within two working days. I was contacted by the representative and was promised a specific time thrice within the past week but he never showed up. On the 9th of July, I again called the representative. Instead of being apologetic, he started behaving rather rudely and then passed the call to someone who he said "handle the complaints". His name was Musharraf. he, also behaving unapologetically, said he would visit tomorrow. When I asked him to lodge another complaint against the representative, he refused. When I said I am going to write about such behavior, he tauntingly said - 'you do whatever you want to do'
                        Such behavior was totally unexpected from a reputed company like IFB and strict actions should be taken against the persons concerned.

                          Nowadays ifb service is very very poor and very irresponsive. I have logged the complaint and the service guy attended in a day and told that the drum has broken and since the machine is in warranty, he will bring the drum once it is available and left.

                          After two days i logged a complaint to replace the drum and the customer care people says the same statement link the service guy will attend within 24 hours. But no one attended even i had called them 5 times in 5 days. I dont know what is happening. After shouting at them, they had given our area service manager’s phone number but that mobile is switched off. God only knows when they will replace the drum of my machine.

                            Hi,

                            I have raised complaint on 13th jun’19, it is almost a month now there is no resolution from ifb. I am reaching them everyday, they will say technician is in goa, but for how long till now no action. Who ever tracking the complaint number [protected], please call me at [protected] or [protected].
                            There is no response from the service agent and his manager now. Please request to solve this at the earliest.

                              We relocated to a new apartment in fraser town and got our ifb dishwasher re-installed. Since dec 2018, we have called the ifb technician at least five times for the same complaint. Every time the technician comes he charges rs. 590 for the service and charges for de-scaling powder rs. 680/- (Four packets). However, two days later we keep getting error f-5 when we put it for a 1.5 h cycle.

                              Dryer is not working. It gets disconnected once we put the clothes for drying and put it ON. Can you send the technician or ask him to call first before visiting.

                                I have purchased a washing machine on nov 2015 there was some sound from the drum so we informed ifb now the service guy had come to check. He is telling that the rubber sleeve is worn and asking for 2500 rupees plus charges but when i checked online it is showing around 500-600 rupees. Why are the techician people asking so high amount and also it's under warranty please this kind of morning thefts should be stopped from company side. It's really a big mafia kind to take money in spite of still in warranty parts.

                                  Ifb washing machine with valid amc has not been repaired for the last 10 days.
                                  Many many complaints made but the service center and the company jointly delaying my repairs saying the machine is a old model.

                                  Please refer all my earlier emails. Not good to repeat the things again and again as your services are failing again and again.

                                  Ifb is a good and great brand. I don't understand as to why you people want to spoil it.

                                  I am not getting my emails replied.

                                  Please explain a senior person who attended after good five days did not locate the problem but whereas the second person who attended after good seven days did locate in a minute and was to arrange to replace the motor.

                                  Today is 8th july, my problem is as it is.

                                  May i spread the issue all over the country and at international level?

                                    Sub: complaint against the untrained & incapable treatment given to my dishwasher by the after sales service team.

                                    Sir/madam,

                                    This is to bring into notice the unprofessional attitude of the after sales service team in allahabad (U. P.) i am highly dissatisfied with the inexperience and ir-responsible behaviour done to my machine.

                                    I faced some technical issue last night in my dishwasher. I programmed the machine on super 50 level with extra hygiene. The machine covered aprox 40 minutes and then there was a sudden power cut of an hour or so. When the electric supply came, i went to check the machine but it isn't working since then. Power supply is good and the machine is even connected with an stabilizer. The power cut scenario is very usual in between the running programs but i never faced this dead reaction from this machine in last 1.5 years.
                                    So i launched a complain on customer care number giving all the details about the issue. They were already having my customer id and machine details in their system.
                                    Ifb technicians came in the evening, although he assured to come in the noon time. He diagnosed that the machine is in dead state and started opening the panel to change the circuit board.
                                    Circuit board he brought looked similar to the one in the model. But he wasn't very sure if the machine is going to work in a proper way after the interchange. He started matching the circuits of the board he brought with the original and confirmed himself, as the designs matched. After some struggle with the internal wires and plugs he managed to fit the new board in the panel.

                                    The machine was switched on, the technician tabbed few buttons on the panel and says that, the machine is not getting proper water supply so there must be some problem with the inlet pipe, or it is jammed due to hard water and lay down the machine. While he was playing with the buttons i could see some water from the outlet but he was only interested in listening to the vibrations of water supply inside the machine.

                                    He opened some cover on its downside, checked something and told his helper that this machine is a different model, ‘it’ will not fit into this. During all this dramatic event i asked them how did the water problem occurred all of a sudden when this wasn't the issue earlier as we are using it daily after purchase, they were not interested in answering but busy in dismantling, may be they deliberately wanted me to believe that there is a water problem and i need to purchase certain device to fix it, but because the model was different they had to get back.

                                    Now they said that the circuit board they have brought does not belong to this model due to which the machine is not working properly and unable to retain the water into it. Another circuit board has to be ordered from the head office and it will take around 3-4 days.

                                    Now the question arises:

                                    · when the model number was noted down, the technical issue was clearly understood by the team then why did the service men came with a different model circuit board.

                                    · the authorized person looked inexperienced as they were not sure if the circuit board belongs to the same model.
                                    I don't know if by inserting a wrong board in the panel, they might have damaged other technical systems of the machine too. I wish the company takes the responsibility for any other technical issues created intentionally or unintentionally by the service team.

                                    · the best part is that after wasting my whole day waiting for them i'm being told that the board is not available and has to be ordered, which will take another 3_4 days. Does that mean they were aware that the particular board that is technically applicable to the machine is not available; and if so they should have informed me instead of enforcing a different category. If this act damages other parts in a long run, i'll have to keep calling ifb service. Hope its not the way the company earns, 'repair one damage the other'.

                                    · the other aspect could be that the original board is sold out in the market purchasing a duplicate one, as being a customer neither can i differentiate nor does the question of distrust arises on an authorised team, off-course the id card was hung on the neck.

                                    · now the bigger part, when the problem has not been resolved yet then why have i received an sms from the company claiming the same in the evening. If the problem o[censored]navailability was genuine then why is the service team misleading the head office, closing the complain and if they claim to resolve the problem, then on whose name are they going to order a new circuit board from the head office.

                                    It is disgraceful to observe such a careless attitude from the after sales team of an international electronics company. I didn't even liked the mishandled treatment done to my machine. The haphazard pull n push in the panel & directly laying down the machine on the floor on its door side was terrible to watch. The level of delicacy which needs to be given to an expensive electronic item wasn’t there and is definitely unexpected from an authorized service men. Before leaving they did not even cared to put it balanced from the base as it stood tilted on one side. The experience was as worst as calling a local untrained mechanic for repair.

                                    Ifb is unable to handle the after sales team or rather not getting the actual feedback, but this is damaging the brand image, credibility and trust built up in years of development.
                                    I hope these issues to be recognised by the higher management and the problems to be resolved by some better trained technicians as soon as possible, and wish the machine stands long lasting.

                                      My new executive plus washingmachine is not working. I registered complaint on 22/06/2019 tktno: [protected]. Even after 16 days, complaint is not resolved saying that parts are not available.in your website, status of the complaint is seen resolved. Several times i called customer care and they say complaint is pending but my problem is not solved. I am using ifb machines for last 15 years. Such a bad experience have never been expected from such a top brand like ifb. Kindly take necessary action.
