I am using ifb make top loading machine since oct-2016. Recently my machine is getting cut of with error as "ac lo".

Upon my complain their tech visited and doing any check advised for using voltage stabiliser to resolve issue. I checked my house voltage was steady at 245 v.

Tech advised to start machine after 10/15 minutes of this error and this way machine was operating . But this error appearing repeatedly and hence again lodge a complain with customer care for sending some senior tech. He comes with voltage measuring meter and observed steady voltage of 242. He has advised for replacement of card costing 3240/- as error has entered in card.
Being a electrical engineer, i asked what it mean that error entered in card memory. I feel ifb does not have competent persons to identify simple electrical fault and interested in selling their costly card that too with only 03 month warranty.Card has satisfactorily worked till their 02 year warranty is over and immediately bad cheap component like capacitor/diode/reed relay used in voltage low circuit leading to replacement of complete card.
I asked tech to temp bypass ac low cut off as voltage was not a issue but was insisting for replacement of costly card with three month grantee.

    Yesterday, i called up hyderabad, miyapur area ifb service center, co-ordinator name: sai (Moblie no. [protected]). He said the machine is not repairable and they will return my amc money back. They want me to buy a new ifb machine.

    No one grow money on the top of a tree. I just cannot buy new machine with 25000 to 40000 rupees. After amc customers expect the peace of mind for service.

    Being an elctronics engineer, not the ifb machine expert, i got some time, want to check, why my ifb machine is not repairable. I just opened the screws of top cover and found that the top stone weight is loose, moving and shaking. Your technician visited my place on sunday and stayed for 10 minutes. He not even tightened the nut bolts of top stone weight. This is the quality service they are providing it.

    Today, after i fixed the paper packing just below the stone weight and used the machine. The machine is not making sounds and working fine.

    I just want to know why the technicians are not fixing the parts properly in the washing machine or they doing it with wrong intention. It is my serious concern the service they are providing it. I need your intervention on this. Now i am suspicious about the ifb technicians service and it is clear that they want to cheat me. Customers trust the ifb brand name and you people are cheating customers like anything.

    Previously technicians replaced machine parts when. Wife was there at home. So, i doubt they removed main original parts which comes with machine and now they are saying it is not repairable. As per area manager mr. Prem hanmala, if they replaced the maximum parts in my machine why the hell the machine is not repaired from 15th june 2019. It is more than a month the problem is not resolved.

    Why they want to take machine to their service center for stone tightening. After this worst service, i will not allow my machine to pick up to service center.

    Technician even broken my taps fittings while doing service. I replaced with new taps, not a concern.

    It is my humble request to help in getting service of this machine.

      I have raised a complaint and one of the technician came and said very small issue and went back saying will come in 2days and yesterday another technician came and he was very young and don't feel he was expertise with washing machine service. He first said issue with front rubber and changed it later he said bearings should be changed & he changed drum too as it's requirement to bearings and he said it need to fix along with it. Now my washing machine looks like not good.

      What kind of service is given by ifb. I'm demanding nenew washing machine as the service man uneccesarily removed few parts and attached with new parts with out reason and not assembled properly and demanding for money for service. Finally my issue is not resolved, the sound was coming more than earlier.

      I demand ifb needs to give new washing machine or will reach to consumer court.

        Ifb wachine machine i use is senorita sx aqua.. Problem started after 2 yrs of my purchase. Machine showed dp error initially at 13 min.., i lodged a complaint nd the ifb technician said that it was the problem of the motor and suggested me to change the same and he did... But after that same issue started again within a week., this time machine stopped at 31 min.. How could the technicians be so worst in service.. Can this be rectified,

            I purchased ifb 1.5 ton hot & cold air conditioner in february this year. It has some serious cooling issue. I have installed it in my cafeteria. I usually keep it at its maximum cooling setting but it doesn’t perform as it should. I called the service guys a couple of time. They visited and tweeted some of the settings and left but the issue never got resolved. I run it at 16 degree temperature but my room temperature never comes down below 28 degrees
            I asked the service agent to refill the refrigerant but they don’t show any interest in doing so. I am now sick of calling them. Kindly take this matter to the higher authorities.

            I just had a word with IFB Senior Technition, he refused to help . They never guide me with parameters before installation and now giving me these parameters reason to avoid the best solution of this . Now I have to take strict action against this .

                We have purchased new washing machine on 13.07.2019 and after new machine comes, their are issue with its door i. E.                   I had subscribed to AMC on May 30th based on the suggestion of the service executive, Praveen from Star Airconditioners, Chennai. I called up the customer care and logged a servicr request on July 15th. Details of ticket below.

                  Till now no technician has come to fix the issue inspite of escalating to customer service, technician Raman, Reporting Manager Arun, Branch Manager Rajasekar. I have been provided false promises of attending the problem everyday from 15th. This has caused so much of frustration, waste of time and effort. I need a strict action taken and My AMC returned.

                    The estimate is very high. And this is a repeat complaint.
                    If I just Google for the Front Load Door Lock, the first page shows part price as Rs.300, while your estimate is about Rs.1500, so your service is just not worthy as despite replacing it multiple times neither is the serviced part reliable nor cost effective.
                    Even UrbanClap estimate is cheaper, plus the part is way cheap if I buy myself.

                        I called this no [protected], the person, on the other hand, claimed to be ifb service guy took my complaint and visited me within a couple of days to repair ifb oven, he took the part repaired it and came back after 2days with 6months of warranty on the repaired part and charged me rs. 3000, the repaired part didn't even last for a day and now he has blocked my number. I called from a different no still he is claiming to be an ifb guy. He is a fraud and listed on many genuine websites like justdial.

                          I own a ifb front load washing machine and currently i've my amc running for the same. Within the past 3-4 months my washing machine is having frequent complaints and even though i've taken amc, they are charging me heavily for the repairing.. The filter itself which costed me around 2600rs got damaged in 3-4months usage... Not only ifb is charging unnecessarily for the repairs, they are not providing quality products.

                          Today i received a call from IFb regarding my complaint. The caller informed me that my issue will be addressed at the earliest (today itself) and a senior technician/executive (not the same technician who attended first) will connect with me to resolve the problem. Now it is nearly evening and none other than the technician who attended the case first have called me. This technician was enquiring about why i've given negative remarks for him. My case is NOT YET attended by any of the senior technicians as they have promised and also they informed that they don't service on weekends. With such a wonderful customer care from IFB, i guess i will be left with no other option than using this dump machine invented by IFB as a waste bin. Atleast that works on amc n high bills i guess.

                          I've done 1 round of washing in the machine and it is working fine. Thanks for the service IFB..i hope your product doesn't bring me back here anymore. :)

                            Receiving message as service issue resolved, but no service request raised by me. This is happening once in three months. Service agency raise tickets on their own and close with comment issue resolved. Though i have mailed to ifb cusotmercare, still it is happening. I called the concern agency number and asked why this happened, they replied ifb automatically generating tickets, and we close this with issue resolved.

                            Is this fair? It is a largest company doing silly things?

                              I had called on ifb toll free number to service my ac as it was not cooling properly. The guys from ifb came and filled gas and charged around 2500 bucks. Since there was not much improvement, i again called on the toll free number and again the guys came and did something and charged another 350 bucks for the visit. After sometime, water started leaking inside the room and cooling went down. I again called on the number and the guys this time replaced the capacitor which i still think has no fault in it. This time again i was charged around 2000 bucks. The technicians seemed amateur and lacked technical know-how. They even broke the indoor unit. Ive paid more than 5000 to a bunch of # just because they work for ifb. I liked my ac very much just like so many other ifb appliances that i possess. But the ac has been reduced to a piece of crap. Since last few months i'm sleeping with buckets inside my bedroom. My biggest fault was to call the in toll free number. Thanks to the third grade customer service, i promise that i won't be buying any ifb appliance for the rest of my life.in case the company feels that one individual customer is also important, it can still redeem itself.

                                I have purchased IFB Cut out. This shows "HI" even if the voltage is 240 V. This IFB voltage protective device is purchased at the time of installation of my new IFB washing machine model Executive Plus on[protected]. Because of this defective Cut out device, I am not able to run my washing machine.

                                  I have been complaining since 15 days on ifb helpline for servicing my washing machine and clothers dryers. Even though ticket no is given the technicians never visit and everytime i call the helpline they tell that they will put a request again for urgent servicing.

                                  I have amc of the machine and still this is the class of response that is givcen. It is never told when we buy that the ifb service will not be there in case of problem.in the clothes dryer there is burning smell of wire and i lodged complaint for urgent service. This kind of poor and unresponsive service is of ifb since years now!

                                    With due respect I beg to state the following lines for your kind information and orders please. I purchased IFB AC from khosla electronics Madhyamgram on 29.04.2019 and installed on 03.05.19 vide order no.01122/1920/01589 in the name of Arpita Sarkar. Immediately after installation it is not working properly due to cooling problem as well as condenser leakage. After installation continous 02 months contacted with IFB authority as telephone provided by them (No.[protected]) as well as contacted with Khosla Electronic Madhyamgram. 03 times they send their representative and they told the manufacturing problem i.e. cooling problem and required to be replace it. But after repeated request they dont replaced it till date. In this regard, it also intimated that the company not register the complaint officially after repeated request and after lapses 02 months they told that we dont lodged any complaint but we have all the call details as a prove of evidence as on the day of installation we are continous complaint them.

                                      I purchased ifb washing machine and in a month the panel started acting weird and they replaced it again in 2 months the same thing happened and they send the technician the person was so rude he is like jo bhi chale usko chala lo that way he responds to the complain
                                      Then some senior person came and he said fitting nai kiya hai bande ne abhi mai aacha kar dunga but again the same problem in this process the warranty is gone and i am stuck with this thing
                                      If the product is faulty in the first month itself then how can the warranty can sustain
                                      It was better i would have taken second hand machine only or have gone for highly recommend siemens or bosch
                                      Atleast there should be some kind of assurance when we buy product from a reputed company

                                        I have a ifb washing machine and representative from ifb called saying that my service is due. Upon visit, the person opened the machine completely and then says that there is problem with the mother board. All of a sudden the display started flickering, i did not have this issue at all. I want the issue to be resolved and harinag enterprise be held responsible for it. The person's name is punith.
