Hi,

My ifb 30brc2 microwave oven's convection heating element is not working. The heating element was damaged. I have amc for my oven. I raised a ticket [protected] on last monday 19-nov-2018 but till now i didn't receive any calls from service center or technician. I phoned customer care and service centers more than 50 times but no proper response from them and the problem is not yet resolved. Is this the way your customer service center behaves. I feel very bad experience with ifb. Our family have many ifb appliances in home. We will never ever suggest or recommend anybody to buy ifb products now and then if the service is very worst like this. If the problem persists for more than a week, i will go to consumer court and file a case against ifb customer service. The service center coordinating with me is keelkattalai - arun [protected] [protected].

    I am from amritsar, punjab. This is regarding ifb 9.5 aqua washing machine. My suggestion to all don't buy this scrap. There is a continuous water leakage problem since i have purchased the machine. Every time an engineer comes and replaces the faulty part. Then it works for 2 to 3 months. And after that again same problem occurs (Water leakage). Now this is happening for the 4th time. Either the engineer don't know how to fix it or the machine is defected one. Last time i again booked the complaint on call centre on 8/11/2018. And received the ticket no. [protected]. Surprisingly on 15/11/2018 i received the msg regarding cancellation of my complaint. Can you imagine without contacting and without visiting they cancelled my complaint. Nobody from their side even bothered to contact me. So after again lodging the complaint they sent engineer on 23/11/2018. Engineer again changed the faulty part (As usual) and said it's ok now. When i asked him why this is happening again and again. He replied that it's a common problem and lots of others machines are also creating same problem but i have fixed it now and it will not happen again. But to my surprise on the very next day when my wife started washing the clothes the same old problem of water leakage occured. Then again i lodged the complaint on 25/11/2018. And today is 28/11/2018. It's been 20 days since i am facing the problem. Though they claim that complaint will be attended within 24 hours. But ifb is not bothered about anything. Their after sales service is pathetic. Now i feel that the machine is defective one. Now i am thinking about other options too like consumer court etc. If they don't rectify it.in these 20 days i have written my mails to [protected]@ifbglobal.com, written on their official website, talked to mr. Digvijay but all in vain. Ifb team fix it as early as possible.

      This complaint is w. R. T ifb microwave oven (30frc2) purchased on 19th feb 2018 from ifb point yelhanka, bangalore. I received the product on 20th feb 2018 and had been using it since then.in a couple of months, discoloration started appearing in the internal metal cage and when checked with ifb toll free customer care, they informed that this is quite normal and i shouldnt be worried. Also, the wheel on th turntable was coming off often, they'd told to put it with some glue which i didnt do as i didnt find it suitable for use in microwave.

      By 25th november, 2018, the discoloration had become too intense and sparks were spotted during operation from inside the metal cage. I again contacted ifb customer care and a complaint ([protected]) was registered and i was assured that the customer service representative would be sent within 24 hours. The complaint was riased at 2am on 26th and the representative assured me that the service representative would be visiting my place within 24 hours starting from then, ie within 26th itself.

      On 26th, as i didnt get any call on the updates, i called baack customer care number and got the local service center number, but when called they didnt have an update other than saying that someone would be calling me to fix an appointment within 4 days. Post that i managed to get the branch manager's number and called him to inform that said sla from the customer care people was 24 hours and not 24 working hours (Still, it would be 2 days as they work 12 hour shifts). After lot o[censored]nanswered calls and debates later, i got him to commit that a person would be visiting my place on 27th (Tuesday). On 27th as well, i had to follow-up with branch as well as branch manager to get the person to reach my place which is hardly 10 minutes from their office.

      Post inspection, the service person informed that internal metal cage has been rusted and the discoloration was a result of this and now, it has even burnt and broken in places owing to sparks when in use. He also informed me that it was a major issue and the unit has to be taken back to the service center for repair, but he can do that only the next day. I personally got the device delivered to the service center to speed up the process and requested the branch manager to replace the device as this is a major repair caused owing to the manufactoring defect within the warranty period. He informed me that he will have to take the approval of his superiors prior to doing that and he would try to get it done within the next day and inform me. So far, post that, i have not received any call from the service center or the manager. Also, when called, both are refusing to accept my calls.

      As its a manufactoring defect and a mjor one at that, kindly help me in getting a replaced product rather than a serviced product whose warranty will expire in a couple of months. There is no fault of the customer, but he is being made to use a sub-standard product which has not undergone a proper quality check at the factory prior to delivery.

He informed me that the mail has been sent to the concerned dept and they are expecting to get the invoice details by tomorrow eod. Once done, he will inform the shipment details and where to collect it from.

      I received the product replacement on 30th Nov 2018 at 7PM. I wanted to test the product for at least a week before marking this complaint as resolved. All were working fine till now, but since today morning, in between the microwave doesnt switch on even when i press start button. Just the light comes on, but the sound and turntable are still off. Food doesnt get heated either. It occurred quite a few times since today morning and it works correctly on repeated trials.
      I have again raised a complaint based on input from the branch manager Sugam. The complaint number is [protected]. Hoping to get a permanent solution from these issues soon.
      I had been using LG Microwave extensively since last 9 to 10 years and have never faced any complaint with it except when the magnetron was damaged in Feb 2018. That is when i bought an IFB based on online reviews. But sadly, this has not been a good experience, the product has been at fault multiple times. I had used an IFB washing machine before and that was good, but this is a half baked product which might or might not work, its pure luck i guess.

        Our ifb washing machine has been giving problems, mentioned below is the fresh complaint and earlier ones already submited for which no action has been taken.

        When the technician came to see the broken switch (Sachin - [protected]) he said "switch tut gayi hai par machine to phir bhi chal sakta hai" and went away without repairing it. I called area manager (M=[protected]/[protected],[protected], [protected]) and the manager said they wont do anything as machine can work with broken switch as well.

        Now just 5 days back[protected] machine has stopped working. It shows 'door' error and also makes some sound (Seems like some loose connection)

        If this machine is not replaced with new one and all my amc money paid we are approaching consumer court. If you cannot train your team for service then you must stop manufacturing more machines until you fix your service agencies.

        1. Complaint was registered on 28.10.2018 and was resolved on 5.11.2018. However mr. Udit (M=[protected]) told me he had handed over the spare part to them immediately. 2. A person from service center had come. While replacing the part he had taken out at least 15-17 different parts. He hardly managed to put the rotating (Program selector switch in place. He broke the start switch as well but he blamed it on us. He took around 1.5 hrs to assemble all the parts that he had taken out. 3. We had to raise another complaint for repair of switch - [protected] 4. We need our amc money back. Amc number[protected]. If you cannot handover our complaint to another service agency please buy back our washing machine, dishwasher and dryer. We do not wish to keep machines of a company that cannot provide a proper service center in our area.

        I would have thrown a away that technician from his job. Would have blacklisted the agency forever...who breaks my machine and updates you with false status.

        Before replying you should have read what I have written in complaint.

        your response only shows that you have no REGARD / CONSIDERATION for complaints... you got 1 yr contract money... We bought washing machine, dryer, dishwasher from your company... what more you expect from us... so dumping us with this problem works best for your company

            I booked a complaint on ifb. I had specified that the technician comes before 12:00 p. M.

            At around 15:00 (3 p. M.) the technician calls and says that he is coming over.

            I told him that my specified times are before 12:00 pm, as i have to go to the office after 12.

            He then asked me what was the issue. I told him that the clothes in my ifb machine sometimes came out fully wet.

            His response was - oh you must be adding too much washing liquid.

            I said - i have been using washing machine since more than 20 years, i do know how to operate the machine.

            He said in a rude voice, "oh that everybody says that!"

            I got frustrated and asked him when will you come.

            He again said very rudely, "if you are shouting on me, i will not. I am not going to come. You do whatever you want, i will see. I won't come."

            first, the technician calls to come at the wrong time, outside the time that i had specified in my complaint.
            then he was not talking properly and acted like a know-it-all.
            then he started talking rudely.
            and when my frustration showed in my voice, he spat that he won't come and he doesn't really care what i do. "aapko jo karna hai woh kar lo, main dekh lunga!"

                I have purchased ifb washing (Model elina) machine last year. Subsequently i have provided"fresh n clean water purifier" to my washing machine 6 months back, through authorised service franchisee m/s arun enterprises, tiruvanaikovil, srirangam, tiruchirappalli-620005.
                But the fresh n clean water purifier attached to the washing machine has become leaky and not properly workinging. When i called the franchisee on 26.1.11.18 and 27.11.2018, to attend this fault, he told that complaint has to be raised with company's toll free number. I tried several times to contact the numbers[protected] and [protected]. But i could get connected to these numbers to book my complaint. I am getting the answer as "sorry this number could not be connected now. Try later".
                Hence kindly arrange to book my complaint and arrange to send your nearest service personnel to attend the fault in my washing machine immediately.

                  I have lodged complaint in IFB Customer care cell fro servicing of my washing machine(which is under AMC) on 13.11.2018 but still (today 27.11.2018) my machine is not repaired. Regarding this I have made lots of calls in customer care, all the time they give assurance that my problem would get resolved in 24 hours.Finally one technician visited to check the machine on 18.11.2018 and informed us that some parts will get replace and he will send the request to service center by next day, but next day we got a message from customer care that our request has been closed as our problem has been resolved without repairing the machine.
                  Again we called too customer care center and they raised a new request no and same circle get started again.after so many calls they provided me no. of service center, when i called to the service center, the person started giving me excuses that part is not available, once they will receive the part, person will come and repair the machine.After 4-5 days of followup, service center person informed me that part has been available and technician will come tomorrow and repair the machine and same line He repeats everyday since last 3-4 days.

                    My ticket number is [protected] allotted on[protected], 11.17 am, machine is down but nobody bothers to attend the complaint. My name NEEL KANT BAJPAI, mob.[protected], [protected]. Machine is in AMC. If machine is not get repaired tomorrow, I will complaint the case to higher authorities/consumer forum, not let you feel free. When today I called IFB they pretend to be helpless. I am bearing lot of pain as my son came from outstation and not able to wash his clothes and nobody bothers it, I want my AMC money back.

                      I have purchased this product on August 2018.after 3 months I am facing issue with this product. Capacitor is not working. I have registered a complaint with IFB customer care but after doing so many phone calls they stated that engineer will be available in 48 hrs. Engineer will arrived after 48 hrs. Engineer just checked and again confirmed that the issue with capacitor and it will take another 48 hrs. I have already informed same thing at first time that issue with capacitor as per IFB manual. This is very very bad service experience I got from IFB. Also no one is taking ownership of the issue. Every time we need to follow up with them and need to beg for service. I recommend that do not buy any IFB washing machine. This is no use of money. I don't want to give even 1 star for this worst service and product. This is very worst product and service

                        We have a ifb neptune dishwasher purchased a year back for 38k. We are in bangalore kasavanahalli area. We have registered a complaint no. [protected] on 17th september for an f5 error. The mechanics have come but are unable to solve it and the company is not providing a resolution but have now started mentioning that it is a fluctuation problem. Today the complaint number has disappeared from their system. Absolutely pathetic services. I have asked 15 times for someone senior to talk they refuse to talk. I want a resolution

                            Dear sir/madam,
                            We are using elite model ifb washing machine since many years, but in the recent past years we are facing lots of issues in the machine were service engineer come and are not able to identify the problem, instead of that they keep on changing the spares and charging for the same with the issue still pending for more than 7 months.

                            The issue was initially before 7 months was reported vibration in the machine to great extent were sometimes machine will come of that stand, along with the water leakage issue, but the service people came and said it is a normal problem, has the machine runs it will become alright and we have also taken care of it, we were complaining if the machine is vibrating to this extent if any spares goes for a damage who will be liable they said nothing will happen, till last month several engineers used to come and tell some stories but water leakage and vibration was not resolved.

                            During the last visit of service engineer we again told the same issue, he also never resolved the issue, at one point of time because of vibration the bottom part of the panel broken initially and eventually the door itself is broken.

                            Now the door and the lower panel broken because of vibration, now they are telling has the machine became old the panel is broken, we are not liable for this, and completely reverse statement by service engineer and now you need to pay for these doors and lower panel.

                            We still said okay by showing our persistence to change the door were we will pay for the door even though it is not at all our mistake, they said they will replace the door in a week, now one month has gone they are telling no door is available has your model is old, so better you for the buy back.
                            They are least bothered about this issue.

                            Pathetic thing is door was broken has the issue was not addressed by the service people during the initial days and they left it as such to precipitate the issue and to make this machine in non working condition.

                            Now they are telling to go for the buy back.
                            I have not come across this kind of worst service with ifb till last year.
                            There is a general rule that company should maintain spares for minimum number of years to service the existing customers even it becomes obsolete.

                            The issue is not at all escalated and it is kept within the area, even when i call the customer care they said we will said senior person to resolve nothing is turning positive.

                            If ifb is not able to resolve the issue they can give it in writing rather than playing with the customer patience, lots of time, effort, and stress was given for this issue.

                            I don't know whether this mail is going to go in junk or is this has a value.

                            If really this issue is not escalated to the upper level, kindly treat this as important issue.

                                I have raised a ticket since my washing machine stopped working on 13th nov 2018 (Ticket number#[protected]) which they closed without resolving it. I have raised a ticket again (Ticket#[protected]) on 19th nov 2018, which they closed without resolving it. When i called the customer care they kept reopening my complaint but no solution yet. It has been two weeks now and still calling customer care daily with no progress. Probably the worst post sales service by such a reputed company. And the customer care people are so rude.

                                  I purchased my washing machine from matrix located in andhra pradesh ; rajahmundry on 20.05.2015. My is under warrant period and my machine is not working since from 5 days. Your service engineer has been visited to my house to repair and said that there is damage in panel board & door lock. He also said that the machine is under warranty as per their data base. However i lost my invoice copy & book provided to me and i have only 4 warranty card with me and i got duplicate bill from my purchaser. But your service engineer is not accepting duplicate invoice copy and warranty card. They are also telling that the machine data is mismatching with their data base information. We are purchased you costly machine around rs. 35000.00. But there is no use. We are highly un satisfied about the services provided by sales area manager.
                                  Kindly resolve this is issue please. I would also like to bring your kind notice that the data available with you is clearly showing that the machine is under warranty.

                                    Hello,

                                    I have purchased ifb 6 kg fully automatic front load washing machine on 19th may 2018. I was using this washing machine from last 3 months. On 23rd august 2018 when i was using this machine all of sudden huge noise came from machine. I stopped machine and booked a complaint with ifb care for the same. On 24th august 2018 one of the technician came and he checked and he did something (Which didn't fixed issue) and said that installation was not properly done so this issue happened now i have fixed it. I have asked him to wait till i wash cloths in machine but he took signature and went out. After this i tried to wash cloths in machine, machine didn't performed it's full cycle, the drain and spin is not happening in the machine since then. And the cloths that i put in machine are ripped.

                                    On 25th i again booked complaint for the same. This time different technician came and he said that due to voltage issue this is happening. We checked voltage during machine run it never crossed 252v where as in user manual of machine valid range of voltage is given as 150-270v. The technician accepted that he has discovered same problems for many users. They provided solution of purchasing stabilizer of worth 4800/-. I denied the solution as it was not the right solution
                                    After fighting with them they agreed to replace the machine and provide me the stabilizer worth rs 4800 for 1800/-. Now its almost 3 month now that they took my machine and i haven't received my new machine yet. When i checked found that nobody knows where is my machine.

                                      Power supply issue with the recently got chimney and after 3 consecutive calls to customers care, I am yet to get a response from service agents, But the complaint is closed for weird reason.
