washing machine amc fraud

After complaint on this site more than 10 calls came on 08 dec 2018 asking same thing... Hell of a service. Frauds.
Finally late in the evening somebody lands up checks the machine and says that there are issues and because warranty is over amc cannot be done without repairs.
My query is that i applied for amc well before my warranty ended. Although the request was acknowledged by the company nobody turned up as told by them...

I am getting f5 error on the dishwasher frequently. Whenever i start any washing cycle, the machine fills up water and starts running, but immediately drains out in 10 seconds. The cycle is not completing. Sometime, i get error after 'rinse', when the machine switches to 'dry' mode. The technicians visited and checked, but could not diagnose the problem. They took it with them to service station where they say its working fine. They are blaming the issue on me by telling that water supply is insufficient at my home.in that case, how was the machine running for 1 year without any trouble. I am facing this issue from past 2 months. It was fine till then. I am fed up with this. Please solve this issue, or take this machine and give me a replacement. It is in very good condition except this f5 error that shows up often without any reason.

hi, yes the technician is reporting the water pressure issue. I have got new plumbing for my home now, just because your technician complained. I have spent ₹ 2500 just for this. You have made me spend that money for nothing. The problem still persists. I have checked the pressure. The flow rate is almost 15 litres / minute. Still not working. Earlier it used to run wash cycle and used show error when it jumped to dry. But now the machine is not starting at all. The water keeps filling for 5 minutes and starts leaking from the door ends. This is not normal.

First of all, my question is how was the machine running for 1 year without any trouble. This problem has started from past few months. This means, there is something clogging inside the machine. May be silt deposition in the inside of the inlet valve. Your technicians are not diagnosing the problem, rather they are just following some procedural methods and are blaming the issue on us.

The dishwasher was in the same place with same water supple and power supple for 13 months. It was working without any issue. After I raised the complaint, your technicians have changed many parts and this problem is occurring. Please solve this.

I should bring in a fire engine and connect its hose to the dishwasher now. I think that's the final resort. Maybe the pressure from the fire engine hose would be adequate.
My automatic washing machine is not functioning and displays error code dlEr.. Need service ASAP

    I bought the machine in dec17 but after 3months it started leaking i made many complaint in ifb but everytime technician not came only msg came that your problem has been solved.. Now it is like a rubbish for me.in future i m not going to buy any ifb appliances. I will prefer lg or samsung in future. I also bought a ifb microwave i registered for demo but no one came for the same. As usual i got only a rubbish msg that your issue has been resolved. I will not suggest anyone to buy a ifb appliances if you want a best service. After spend enough money and you are not going to satisfied with company it means that it is wastage of money.

      Sir, i am writing this complaint for the second time, i am a loyal customer of ifb since 2007. After my 2yrs amc contract with ifb for my elena washing m/c, no one is attending my door closing issue even after several calls and online complaint registration.
      If this is the case, i would like to break the amc and request you to refund my rs4500 paid over amc for 2yrs.

      It seems in ashok nagar, chennai a new agency started and where i put my amc is different agency and no one is responding now.

      Need a quick feedback from the complaint cell pl.

        I had applied for AMC of washing machine in response to a mail by company in Oct 2018 before end of warranty period. On 10 Oct I received an email from IFB that AMC request is accepted and that somebody will contact regarding the same. However, there has been no response till date.
        I have approached the company customer care many times but NO positive response.

          Front door washing machine bought from nadiyad sanket sale india 10 months ago by me aka paresh patel, at - alarsa, ta - borsad. Di - anand state - gujarat 10 months ago and machine is not in working condition. I did complaint more than 7-8 times. The drum of it unable to complete one round. Every time person came from service and they perform half checking and left our home. I hardly used more than 10 times this machine. No one able to answer our complaint and also their answers are not justifiable. All my money wasted after it. Also they refused to replace by saying high voltage issue even though there is mcb and stabilizers installed worth of 5500 and yes they said there is air issues etc etc. Every time they have new story. Kindly refund our money or exchange the piece.

          I already mention i can be reachable after 5 PM to your executive. Also service engg told us about some part is dis-functioning. and Do you heard about MCB ?? What function have MCB? how many MCB at my home ?? There is no way of voltage fluctuation. You are saying Machine worked perfectly till Pre wash then suddenly Machine remember that it is working with voltage issues ?? This Piece of Junk does same from the month we buy. You can track the no. of Complaint. in addition to that if you all guys are true in your decision why from your team came to home and try to change some part?? I don't want to Change parts of this machine. If you don't have market complaint experience the Get some one who can handle this instead of making excuses. Get your documents ready which i asked for or i will take legal action.

          Also your person came with New Stabilizer and machine did not work with that stabilizers too. So Your Service engg doesn't know which stabilizer to suit the voltage conditions??

            We had a problem in our ifb dryer for which we contacted customer care. They sent service people who came and found 2 problems. We paid the money for their service. There is a coil problem for which we told them to order for a new one. More than 15 days have passed the service people didn’t turn up. I have expressed this difficulty in customer care and they too have not responded. We are in a place where we are in desperate need of our dryer. Iam very upset about the irresponsible behaviour of your staff. Do take this matter to resolve this issue.

              This is with regard to the technican mr shailender who visited our house on 03/12/2018 to my shock he shouted at my father who is an senior citizen and started using derogatory language just because we did not take accessories from ifb and i will complaint this to your higher ups as well. I want to ask you a simple thing is it a crime that we dont purchase accessories from ifb and this behavior by ur so called technician is like an mafia who just want to sell his product and if you dont then he is uses indecent language and says that future onwards he wont provide any service and even said to an extent that you can even complaint to anyone but still nobody gonna take any action as he is the only technican in the entire vicinity. This is harrasment at its peak level. This type of services by such an multi national us highly unacceptable and i promise you that i will spread the word of mouth to all my friends and family that never purchase any product of ifb because their after sale service us horrible.

                With deep concern, we would like to inform you that, our ifb machine which is not even 6 months old purchased from ashram road branch of sales india has given us problems 3 times. We have been given defective and faulty piece.

                We had already lodged complain regarding the same, and was immediately attended by your technician. The technician worked on it and made it serviceable, although we were not made aware about the problem.

                After few days, the machine again stopped working, we again lodged the complain, next day again 2 technician came to repair it, and repaired it within few minutes. The moment they left our place, within 5 minutes the machine again broke down. I immediately called them back, but i got a reply from them that we have reached very far from your place and cannot come back, and now somebody else will visit your place tomorrow to repair it.

                After 2 days, i received a call from sales india asking me that is your machine repaired??? I informed them the whole story and told them that the washing machine which is delivered to me seems to be faulty and needs to be replaced with new machine, she told me that she will talk to her senior and call me back. I never received a call back from sales india.in fact in the evening without informing me she sent the same guy to repair it and replace the faulty part.

                We as a customer feel that we are taken too lightly at times, and the sales india team does whatever they want.

                There may be several reasons to it.

                1) they either think that we are uneducated and we dont know our rights.

                2) they think that we dont carry technical knowledge about machine, so whatever they tell us, we will believe it.
                The problem should have been sorted out on the first complain itself, if the part was faulty, why was it not replaced on our first complain, secondly when i have already demanded to replace the faulty machine with new machine, why they are trying to replace the faulty part now??
                I want to replace my faulty ifb machine 6 months old to replace it with a new machine.

                  We have purchased ifd dish washer on[protected] and we are having issue with that from starting.

                  We have added filter and also using ifb related products even though the mission is not working as expected, when we raise any ticket for that the technician will come and not providing correct solutions.

                  We requested to them if that missing having any problem that we couldn't able to fix then please replace it, for that they are saying we will give discount 50% you can purchase new one.

                  This not correct solution to purchase new mission if that mission couldn't able repair it should be replace by ifb company.

                  We are expecting permanent solution either repair or replace.

                    I have called the customer care number more than 5 times over a period of one month regarding my washing machine not working one guy came to house on day one after that no one visited my name is ajith r and the complaint number is [protected]

                    The washing machine stopped working completely and i made a call to customer care and a guy came and said the board is faulty and needs to be replaced we said ok after 10 day he replace the board from day one every time i switch on the washing machine it starts working but after sometime it stops working automatically i am not sure he replaxed the machine with a new board or a good one. Every time i call the customer care they say the complaint has been escalated and they give me numbers of so called managers for me to contact but they never pick the call or are in out of coverage are i haven't reached then once please do something

                      I own a 6kg senator ifb washing machine which is under amc inclusive of rubber parts... On 27th nov i registered a complaint with the toll free no. Mentioning very specifically that on/off switch on the machine does not light up when supplied power... My ticket no. Is [protected]... Initially the customer care were unable to the correct service centre of my area even though there have been numerous complaints attended by the local service centre in the past during the same amc period.. I had to give them the address of the service centre which had handled my earlier complaints... After more than 48 hours of registering the complaint a service centre technician mr. Rajeevcalled up... He was specifically told the problem and requested to bring on/off switch so that the problem could be resolved... He visited our residence yesterday and called me back confirming that the switch had to be replaced and that he will indent for on off switch from the company.. The issue remains unresolved and we are left to the mercy of local service cente /technician and extremely ineffective customer care centre of ifb... We wiish to escalate this matter to the top management of ifb in view of our liyalty of being ifb cusomers since last 20 years...

                          - purchased neptune sx! From ifb point viman nagar pune on 18 november 18.

                          - was given in writing. Delivery date - 20 nov and installation date - 21 nov 18

                          - got my machine with lot of persuasion to if point ultimately on 24 november that too i was told that it will come by 11 am and it came finally at 8 pm. My complete day was wasted and i am in business. Imagine how much loss of time and money. Got my machine with almost 7 days of delay with out any valid reason.

                          - the person i used to contact at ifb point is sidharth and his mob no is [protected]. When service rep came for installation on 25 nov 18, he said that plumbing is required to be done whereas neptune dishwasher was already functioning from the same connection and i bought new machine in exchange of old. There was small attachment required to be fixed between your machine pipe and water tap. Sidharth did not tell the service rep that machine is neptune vx1. I asked the service rep why you did not you get. He said company does not provide. Then i spoke to mr sidharth at ifb point. He was so rude and uncooperative that one cannot explain. He said that this attachment and plumbing is required to be done by the customer and else he is ready to take the machine back and return my money. The whole conversation is recorded with me on my phone

                          - i asked the service rep to explain me and my wife about the machine and attachment i will get it done later. I got that attachment later for rs 100 and got it fixed myself so it was a normal thing which your service rep and sales man mr sidharth made fuss out of it. It was a company responsibility to get the machine fixed and customer is to give you tap connection near by

                          - i have been ifb customer for the last 20 years and recently also i purchased ifb washing machine one month back. But this atrocious behavior by the company rep is tarnishing your company image and i thought as a loyal customer i must bring out this incident to you.

                          - why delay in providing machine and why your rep was not able to fix it with attachment or at best that attachment item would have been charged by us. Mr sidgarth behaviour of returning the money shows how careless and loyal he is towards your company.

                            Hi,

                            My ifb 30brc2 microwave oven's convection heating element is not working. The heating element was damaged. I have amc for my oven. I raised a ticket [protected] on last monday 19-nov-2018 but till now i didn't receive any calls from service center or technician. I phoned customer care and service centers more than 50 times but no proper response from them and the problem is not yet resolved. Is this the way your customer service center behaves. I feel very bad experience with ifb. Our family have many ifb appliances in home. We will never ever suggest or recommend anybody to buy ifb products now and then if the service is very worst like this. If the problem persists for more than a week, i will go to consumer court and file a case against ifb customer service.                               I am from amritsar, punjab. This is regarding ifb 9.5 aqua washing machine. My suggestion to all don't buy this scrap. There is a continuous water leakage problem since i have purchased the machine. Every time an engineer comes and replaces the faulty part. Then it works for 2 to 3 months. And after that again same problem occurs (Water leakage). Now this is happening for the 4th time. Either the engineer don't know how to fix it or the machine is defected one. Last time i again booked the complaint on call centre on 8/11/2018. And received the ticket no. [protected]. Surprisingly on 15/11/2018 i received the msg regarding cancellation of my complaint. Can you imagine without contacting and without visiting they cancelled my complaint. Nobody from their side even bothered to contact me. So after again lodging the complaint they sent engineer on 23/11/2018. Engineer again changed the faulty part (As usual) and said it's ok now. When i asked him why this is happening again and again. He replied that it's a common problem and lots of others machines are also creating same problem but i have fixed it now and it will not happen again. But to my surprise on the very next day when my wife started washing the clothes the same old problem of water leakage occured. Then again i lodged the complaint on 25/11/2018. And today is 28/11/2018. It's been 20 days since i am facing the problem. Though they claim that complaint will be attended within 24 hours. But ifb is not bothered about anything. Their after sales service is pathetic. Now i feel that the machine is defective one. Now i am thinking about other options too like consumer court etc. If they don't rectify it.in these 20 days i have written my mails to [protected]@ifbglobal.com, written on their official website, talked to mr. Digvijay but all in vain. Ifb team fix it as early as possible.

                                This complaint is w. R. T ifb microwave oven (30frc2) purchased on 19th feb 2018 from ifb point yelhanka, bangalore. I received the product on 20th feb 2018 and had been using it since then.in a couple of months, discoloration started appearing in the internal metal cage and when checked with ifb toll free customer care, they informed that this is quite normal and i shouldnt be worried. Also, the wheel on th turntable was coming off often, they'd told to put it with some glue which i didnt do as i didnt find it suitable for use in microwave.

                                By 25th november, 2018, the discoloration had become too intense and sparks were spotted during operation from inside the metal cage. I again contacted ifb customer care and a complaint ([protected]) was registered and i was assured that the customer service representative would be sent within 24 hours. The complaint was riased at 2am on 26th and the representative assured me that the service representative would be visiting my place within 24 hours starting from then, ie within 26th itself.

                                On 26th, as i didnt get any call on the updates, i called baack customer care number and got the local service center number, but when called they didnt have an update other than saying that someone would be calling me to fix an appointment within 4 days. Post that i managed to get the branch manager's number and called him to inform that said sla from the customer care people was 24 hours and not 24 working hours (Still, it would be 2 days as they work 12 hour shifts). After lot o[censored]nanswered calls and debates later, i got him to commit that a person would be visiting my place on 27th (Tuesday). On 27th as well, i had to follow-up with branch as well as branch manager to get the person to reach my place which is hardly 10 minutes from their office.

                                Post inspection, the service person informed that internal metal cage has been rusted and the discoloration was a result of this and now, it has even burnt and broken in places owing to sparks when in use. He also informed me that it was a major issue and the unit has to be taken back to the service center for repair, but he can do that only the next day. I personally got the device delivered to the service center to speed up the process and requested the branch manager to replace the device as this is a major repair caused owing to the manufactoring defect within the warranty period. He informed me that he will have to take the approval of his superiors prior to doing that and he would try to get it done within the next day and inform me. So far, post that, i have not received any call from the service center or the manager. Also, when called, both are refusing to accept my calls.

                                As its a manufactoring defect and a mjor one at that, kindly help me in getting a replaced product rather than a serviced product whose warranty will expire in a couple of months. There is no fault of the customer, but he is being made to use a sub-standard product which has not undergone a proper quality check at the factory prior to delivery.

                                I received the product replacement on 30th Nov 2018 at 7PM. I wanted to test the product for at least a week before marking this complaint as resolved. All were working fine till now, but since today morning, in between the microwave doesnt switch on even when i press start button. Just the light comes on, but the sound and turntable are still off. Food doesnt get heated either. It occurred quite a few times since today morning and it works correctly on repeated trials.
                                I have again raised a complaint based on input from the branch manager Sugam. The complaint number is [protected]. Hoping to get a permanent solution from these issues soon.
                                I had been using LG Microwave extensively since last 9 to 10 years and have never faced any complaint with it except when the magnetron was damaged in Feb 2018. That is when i bought an IFB based on online reviews. But sadly, this has not been a good experience, the product has been at fault multiple times. I had used an IFB washing machine before and that was good, but this is a half baked product which might or might not work, its pure luck i guess.

                                  Our ifb washing machine has been giving problems, mentioned below is the fresh complaint and earlier ones already submited for which no action has been taken.

                                  When the technician came to see the broken switch (Sachin - [protected]) he said "switch tut gayi hai par machine to phir bhi chal sakta hai" and went away without repairing it. I called area manager (M=[protected]/[protected],[protected], [protected]) and the manager said they wont do anything as machine can work with broken switch as well.

                                  Now just 5 days back[protected] machine has stopped working. It shows 'door' error and also makes some sound (Seems like some loose connection)

                                  If this machine is not replaced with new one and all my amc money paid we are approaching consumer court. If you cannot train your team for service then you must stop manufacturing more machines until you fix your service agencies.

If you cannot handover our complaint to another service agency please buy back our washing machine, dishwasher and dryer.                                       I booked a complaint on ifb. I had specified that the technician comes before 12:00 p. M.

                                      At around 15:00 (3 p. M.) the technician calls and says that he is coming over.

                                      I told him that my specified times are before 12:00 pm, as i have to go to the office after 12.

                                      He then asked me what was the issue. I told him that the clothes in my ifb machine sometimes came out fully wet.

                                      His response was - oh you must be adding too much washing liquid.

                                      I said - i have been using washing machine since more than 20 years, i do know how to operate the machine.

                                      He said in a rude voice, "oh that everybody says that!"

                                      I got frustrated and asked him when will you come.

                                      He again said very rudely, "if you are shouting on me, i will not. I am not going to come. You do whatever you want, i will see. I won't come."

                                      first, the technician calls to come at the wrong time, outside the time that i had specified in my complaint.
                                      then he was not talking properly and acted like a know-it-all.
                                      then he started talking rudely.
                                      and when my frustration showed in my voice, he spat that he won't come and he doesn't really care what i do. "aapko jo karna hai woh kar lo, main dekh lunga!"
