This is to share with you my bad experience of ifb after sales service.
I bought an ifb tl-ssdr6.5 kg aqua top loading washing machine in august 2018.
On november 22, 2018, at 10.44am i called helpline no.[protected] and placed an order for a stand for the machine, fluff liquid detergent as well as descal appliance descaler. The lady on the telephone assured me that the representative would come home and deliver the things in the next 48 hr. Nothing of that sort happened and i called up again at 10.26am on december 01, 2018 to remind and i was promised again that the items will be delivered in next 48 hr. No delivery or phone call came. On 19 12 2018, i was called up and told that the items will be delivered in next 24 hr.
Now that i have given you all factual details i want to know, in writing, certain things from ifb:
Is this the way you operate in the market and cheat customers on after sales service?
What is your definition of in next 48 hours?
Why you have appointed such incompetent staff to take care of such vital aspect-aftersales service?
Why the coordination between your employees who handle the calls and the employees who are supposed to deliver the goods in the specified time is so hopeless?
Have you not thought it worthwhile to train your staff to have the courtesy to call the customer and explain their failure to keep their promise and apologize for the delay and eventually deliver the goods on the new proposed date?
Unless you will reply to my mail immediately, i will not accept the goods even if they try to do so in near future.
I will also not by any of ifb product in future and also share my bad experience on social media in addition to telling my vast network of friends, acquaintances, and relatives not to buy any ifb product.
I want to warn you that this kind of behavior by a well-known company like yours will sooner than later tarnish your image and goodwill and business will nosedive as today's home appliances market is very competitive and you will find difficult to keep your business afloat.
So far i had written several emails and demanded an explanation for the sloppy and careless attitude and got a stereotype non'_commital reply that they regret the inconvenience caused and look into the matter. My every follow-up email was replied by a different employee and no one willing to explain the reasons for their failure to deliver nor apologize for their mistake.
Even after 45 days of placing the order, i have not received any satisfactory answer from ifb and hence canceled the order.
I'm highly disappointed by the "who cares" attitude of ifb customer service and decided not to share my experience with people at large so that they do not get cheated and suffer like me. I strongly urge my fellow citizens to think 10 times before deciding to chose any ifb product. As customers, we have a vast choice and market is very competitive and there is no need to fall prey to false advertisements by such companies.
