My car Maruti Swift (DL 4C AM 1282) met with an accident and IFFCO TOKIO appointed a Surveyor Mr. Mukesh Setia for the inspection of the vehicle. I was very much surprised with his Misbehaviour over the phone, with me arguing that the accident occurred with my car is not a single accident and talking to me very rudely, He is not ready to accept the accidental damages occurred to the car, and also asking me to file a complaint to any level and ready for any consequences and even not afraid of any action taken against him. Showing his Rigidity and not accepting the facts of the accidents. In fact he says that you have got your car insured and not taken the AMC from Iffco Tokio, dont think that whenever & whatever damages will be occured to your car can be claimed from insurance company. I was reallysurprised to hear it from a surveyor of your company. When my insurance agent (Mr. Ravi Jain) contacted him for the issue, he informs him that he has approved everything except of the running board, just because it has caught rust.. But the Maruti people are denying and says that apart from Running Board, he has not approved few other things which were likely to be (Like he has approved Front Fender but not the fender lining, some underbody damages, etc.). I just wanted to know that If IFFCO TOKIO company is only ineterested in the Premium and not the Claims filed by customers, then I would get the work of my car done on my own and you may cancel this policy and I'll get the insurance done through some other company because I don't want to continue with companies who are having such type of surveyors associated with them who don't even know their job completely.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    I Syed Javed Naqvi S/o S.I.A Naqvi R/o E11/50,Hauz Rani Malviya Nagar, New Delhi-110017 hereby serve you following notice for its strict compliance

    1) I am the owner of aforesaid vehicle bearing registration No. DL-3C-BJ 0368 Model 2008 Maruti Swift Lxi.It was comprehensively insured by you vide policy No 90050160 valid for the period from 06 Dec 2008 to 05 Dec 2008 for a sum of Rs 379991/-. The said car had stolen at Karol Bagh Area at on 24/10/09, which I had parked in rear side of Jassaram Hospital, Karol Bagh.I immedietaly informed the PCR (100) and filed the FIR (FIR No. 153) at Karol Bagh Police Station on same day.

    2) The Investigator ,Vikas Kumar & Associates was deputed on 27 Oct 2009 by your organization to examine and access the loss caused to the said vehicle who supposed to conducted requisite survey of the vehicle (got the SMS from the Insurance Company), but after waiting a long period there is nothing a single call from Investigator as well as your company.i called customer care and get the Contact details of Investigator.I kept on trying to contact the investigator for examine my vechile but on every attempt nothing was happened nor getting any satisfactory answer from the investigator.

    3) I again contacted the aforesaid Investigator on 2nd Dec 2009 over his mobile ([protected]) and again on 10th Dec 2009 to know whether they will be come to investigate or I request to change investigator from your company.In every conversation with the investigator he assure me that he is coming next day, next Monday, after three days. he gives me a false commitment every time when we spoke.

    4) Having not satisfied and fade up with the attitude of the Investigator displayed about my claim.i requested to insurane Company for the change of my investigator,but they refused my request.

    5) After waiting long time my Investigator came on 16 Jan 2010 and start the survey of my case. on 20th Feb 2010,he finished all the investigation of my Car.i handed over the following documents on same day:

    1) FIR
    2) Vechile Particulars
    3) One Unused Key
    4) Letter to R.T.O
    5) Untrace Report
    6) Photocopy of Insurance policy
    7) Photocopy of Purchase Invoice
    8) Photocopy of Service Record
    9) Photocopy of Salary Slip for Jan 2010
    10) Claim Form duly Filled
    11) Photocopy of RC
    12) Self attested Photo Impression of the Key with Key Tag.

    6) The receipt of aforesaid paper has been duly acknowledged by the representative of the aforesaid investigator (while receiving the documents assured me on 20 Feb 2010 that he would submit report after a week). since then I egarly waiting for response but no response has been given. on enquiry to ascertain the status of my claim, it was learnt that my case has been kept pending with the investigator.

    7) After a several times talking with my investigator with a same reply I called a customer care on 26 April 10 at 4:50 Pm requested to lodge a complaint with Mr Amit Kumar but he refused to do complaint, i also requested to talk with his senior but he refused first,when I insisted him a lot then Mr Debojit Sr Manager was coming on the line, gave me the Number of Mr Aditya Dixit ([protected]) and assure me to get a call after an hour from the company but I have not received any call.
    after an hour, at around 5:40 Pm, i called Mr Aditya Dixit who is in Claim Deptt. about the status of my case he replied that he hasn’t received the file from investigator of my name and try to contact the investigator only.

    8) Next day (27 April,2010) I tried to contact the investigator but he picked his mobile at 2:30 Pm, replied that he’s in Kota, coming next day then he will be able to give the status and also assure to give a call.

    28 April -- I have not received any call from the Investigator.
    29 April -- I give a call to Mr vikas replied me that he’s not reached his office,assure me to give a call from his office but in vain.
    30 April -- talked with Mr vikas he replied that he has dispatched my file to the Insurance company.
    1 May -- called Mr Dixit to know the status of my file,he told me that give a call on Monday.
    3 May -- called Mr Aditya Dixit again but he’s in the meeting answered me that he give a call after the meeting but not received any call.I have not received any satisfactory reply from anyone (Investigator or Insurance Company). At around 6 Pm I called Customer Care and requested to lodged a complaint about my case with Mr Dinesh Gill Customer Care Executive, he refused to do so and assure me to receive a call from concern person on the next morning.
    4 May -- not received any call from the company, I again talked with Mr Aditya Dixit, this time he doesn’t know the status of my file, he committed to call within an hour after talking with Investigator, but not received any call from the same.
    7 May –enquired from Investigator who’s claiming that he already dispatched the file to the Insurance Company, I called customer care to know the status (Mr Dinesh, Customer Care Executive) he transfer the call to Mr Mohan Raj (Supervisoir) assures me to give a call on Monday (10 May) and give the status positively before 4 Pm.

    10 May – I havn’t received any call from Mr Mohan Raj who assured me a lot to give the status of my case.I complaint to greivence cell (Complaint No. 4233) on the company’s website at 5 Pm on the same day.
    Over the six and the half months gone but till date I have not received any single call after several times assurance from the Investigator and your Company.

    9) It is most disgusting and astonishing that not being communicated about the status of my case despite trying a lot from my side so that I decide the future course of action to be taken in the matter. i have been deliberately harassed and being put to unbearable mental tension by the attitude of your investigator and your company claim to dispose of the claim within 15 days.

    10) Under the above circumstances I therefore, request you to communicate the status of my case and to take appropriate action in the matter within 7 days of receipt of this notice, failing which I will be constrained to initiate all legal action against your company to settle the dispute. A copy of this notice is also being sent to IRDA, New Delhi the controlling agency to make them aware about your act and conduct in harassing the reasonable customers.

      After made a complain on IFFCO TOKIO Gen ins. portal. I received on call from company. than after not a possitive reply from company.
      My first written comlain to the company its below mention. letter.

      Respected all
      I am one of the motor vehicle policy customers of your company and my policy No is 42244284 which named on Mr. Samir Narendrabhai Soni. I have been made a claim against my motor vehicle stolen. I was submitted all supporting document for that. My claim No is 31700799. As per the policy my Insure Declare Value is 32378/- but my claim sanction amount is 24283/-. Between the different amount of IDV & sanction amount I was made a complained in your company’s portal. After 2 days I got your call from your company on my mobile and she was explained me due to one key does not submitted by you company deducted 25% amount from your IDV amount.
      I replied her: I was submitted all supporting documents for that and also submitted Govt. Notary paper with reason (why my key was lost?) There is no any written clause in my policy bond (which I was received by your company) if lost my key, company will be deducts 25% claim amount from our IDV amount. (In matter of vehicle stolen) So please release my full IDV 32378/- amount against my claim. I am very disagree against your disburse amount of my claim. If you are not able to manage my claim with full IDV amount of Rs. 32378/- I will go in ombudsman and also go through the consumer court.
      Give me a reply as soon as possible.
      Do the needful help.

        Dear sir / madam,
        I vikas dangi an authorised agent of your insurance company having a policy number 70540785 dtd:[protected] of my new maruti wagon r vxi car.
        I had met with a accident on 24th march this month for which i intimated the claim on your tollfree no. & took my car for claim at sai service - andheri - e on 26th march morning, which was surveyed by the surveyor mr. Nitin patil. I was present there at the time of inspection i. E survey of the car. The damages are on the left side of the car and the description of damages are as follows.
        Both left doors, door handles, lower floor panel, left rear quarter panel, left front fender, left side mirror etc.
        At the time of survey i told the surveyour that the doors are damaged on the edges which cannot be repaired upto the mark and i want the replacement of my both doors. Which he did not accept nor he accepted my floor board etc.
        It was just like he was doing a fovour to me by approving repairs. He said that i cannot give you anything more than this etc.
        Then i contacted mr. Gautam shettigar from your claims department at marol and explained him the entire matter, also mailed him the detailed description of the accident. (Mail attached below) .
        Then finally the floor panel got the approval for replacement but the doors replacement approvals are still pending. After contacting again he said you give me a letter or mail from sai service that the door are not repairable for which i spoke to sai service and even that is done. (Mail attached below) .
        Then also mr. Gautam and his senior mr. Hardeep are not agreeing for the approval of replacement of both doors.
        They are not ready to listen at all. Mr. Hardeep told me that if they are not repairing the doors take to some other workshop, i cannot do anything onto it.
        This is the way they treat to the customers.
        I am not begging to the company for claim, it is my right, i had taken a policy and had paid the premium for same. It is the laibility of the insurance company to resolve the problem and give a good service, and if the people inhouse of iffco tokio speak in such a manner, i think its a "question mark on your reputation also"
        Still da claim is pending last 5 dyas because of the claim department's delay in decision.
        Whatever is correct has to accepted, they cannot just runaway from there liabilties.

        Request you to please look into this matter and resolve the issue or else i will have to go legally for futher action, which will again put a question mak on your reputation for cheating the customer by giving selling them your policies and then running away from the responsibilty when any claim arises.

        Please find below the detailed description of the accident.
        On 24th march, 2010 i was driving from my office to my residence i. E from powai to sakinaka about 5 - 6 pm in left side of the road.
        When i reached near ansa indl estate, one old jeep type car dashed my car from behind i. E. On my car's mudguard, then i got disbalanced and then my car got rubbed with a divider's stone which was lying on the road nearby, by which the floor board of my car was was rubbed & damaged and then there was a best bus in front of my car, so to avoid dashing the best bus i took a right turn, but unfortunately the turn was not so succesfull and the left part of the car's body got rubbed with the rear right side corner of the best bus, which damaged both the left doors from the sharp edges on it also it made a hole on the first door, damaged the left quarter panel with a deep scratch and bend, both door handles etc. Even the left side panel of the bonet also got scratched a bit.

        The details mentioned above are ture and correct and i would request you to please consider the facts.
        The vehicle was taken to sai service - andheri - e, mumbai on 26 - march - 2010 saturday at around 11 am and was also surveyed by the surveyor's (Mr. Nitin patil) collegue mr. Samir, still the approvals are pending for them to start the work of my car.
        I was personally present at the time of the survey. Even the sai service claim person mr. Dinesh also said that the door will not become as it is after repairs.

        The above mentioned car came for the bodyrepairs job under insurance claim, which is surveyed by mr nitin patil.

        As per the assessment of surveyour, left door allow for repair but as per the damage it can be
        Repair but finishing of it will not upto the mark, so it better to replace. As the car is new, customer also insist for
        Replacement of damge panel.

        Pls look into the matter & do the needful in favour of customer.

        The above fact mentioned is true and correct. Iffco Tokio is a cheater company and is not at all responsible in settling claims. Iffco always runs out of its liabilities.
        Please don't ever insure your vehicle or your self with IFFCO TOKIO, cause they are very fast in accepting premiums but they don't ever settle the claims properly or sometimes even they deny the claims without any specific reason.
        No one will help you out to settle your claim, instead they will even put you into more mess.
        So please don't ever trust Iffco Tokio General Insurance

          See i had asked for the letter / certificate from the doctor statig that this is not an external congenital disease. The discharge summary does not shiow duration of the deformity. Also confirm the policy period as stated by the Pt. as 14/05/06, if it is correct. Plz. provide these documents so as to opine further.



          As per Doctor's certificate it is not a congential disease. The policy is since[protected] instead of[protected] with ITGI covernote no. 41048805. If it is pre existently the company also cover after third year.

          Iffco Tokio General Insurance Company Ltd. — CLAIM

          I Vikas Dangi resident of mumbai had purchased a Maruti WagonR car in the month of september 2009, which is insured by IFFCO TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE CO. LTD.
          My car met with an accident on 24th of march 2010 y which my left side of the car got damaged i.e. left quarter panel, left front fender, both left doors, left side floor panel, left side mirror etc. The doors are damaged on the edges and also there is a hole on the door i.e front door. The vehicle was surveyed by the surveyour on 26th march 2010 by Mr. Nitin Patil. At the time of inspection is was clearly told to the surveyour that the edges of both the doors are damaged because of which the door will not be repaired upto the mark. Even it is acknowledged by the official of SAI SERVICE where the car is sent for claims that the door are not repairable upto the mark.
          Even though it is clearly mentioned and notified to the Insurance Compant that the door will not be repaired properly then they are not approving my claim for new doors. They are running out of their LIABLITY and RESPONSIBILITY.
          As a consumer i always have the right to claim for the things to get replaced which will cannot be repired properly. According to the norms the things which should not repaired why are they IMPOSING there DADAGIRI on customer to do the things by which he feels cheated and is not satisfied by their service.
          THEY ARE CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS BY SELLING THERE INSURANCE PRODUCTS. CUSTOMERS PAY PREMIUM TO THEM TO KEEP TEHMSELVES OUT OF WORRIES AND NOT TO TAKE WORRIES.
          Please guide and assist me, and please do the needfull.

            Claim not settled from last four months

            I have lodge complain in police station & insurance company for my bike was theft from working place in panvel. But till today insurance company is not giving me any satisfied reply. They are mentaly disturbing me & neglacting me to see in their office. Kindly help me out.

            my vehicle got accident on 7 of December 2009. it was taken to the Suzuki service center in secundarabad.the surveyor of this company had to reach the service center within 24 hours. its more than 10 days & the surveyor haven't reached the service center. i request you to take some severe action on this complaint.
            not attending complaints

            my vehicle got accident on 2 of agust 2010. it was taken to the himalayaautomobiles paonta sahib (himachal pradesh) service center in secundarabad.the surveyor of this company had to reach the service center within 24 hours. its more than 20 days & the surveyor haven't reached the service center. i request you to take some severe action on this complaint. cover note no. 39744464 my name shaukat ali mno.[protected]

              My self Apexa Shah I was working with ur organisation from August 2006 to March 2007 due to some reasons i left the job.I was working with IFFCO TOKIO GENERAL INSURANCE SERVICES LTD.as customer care associate at L3 level ITIS(5537), DEP ID:64855.My Employee ID : 82785. According to ur contract of employment i have contributed(Employee's contribution) provident fund for 09 months+ESI.so i m requesting u to please tell me the procedure how i can get back my contribution and please clear all my dues as soon as possible.

                I took an insurance from Iffco Tokio General Insurance of my two wheeler at that moment they gave me only cover note which is valid for only 1 month.on 28/08/2009 of amount Rs579 from Noida, Sec-18 by the agent Mr. Rakesh Whose Mobile No. is +[protected] and i have given him Rs 200 extra on his demand. i don't know why he took. now the matter is that till date 10/11/2009 i haven't received our policy document from them. and when i gave a call to mr. Rakesh (agent) he didn't gave any response and besides that he started using abusive words. neither Mr.Rakesh nor Iffco Tokio is serious about this matter. with out this policy i cant drive my bike.
