Dear DC Readers,

BEAWARE before shopping through Indiatimes Shopping see the below points to change your mind set, I have the worst online shopping experience with INDIATIMES SHOPPING, I have purchased Karbonn A1 mobile by viewing an Advertisement in there news paper, for 4198/- for 6 EMI’s through Credit Card, and 250 Rupees gift coupon and 1 year warranty for Indiatimes shopping readers.

Just one order 10+ mistakes 26 E-Mails communications in-number phone calls still the problem not solved and the credit goes to Indiatimes Shopping Management.

1) I wised to gift my wife this mobile on her birth day which was on 23 Aug.
2) After placing the order on 13 Aug 2012 it was delivered on 01 Sep 2012 It Took 19 days by then she celebrated her B-day in her home town and returned back to work.
3) Since it took too long to delivery, I have called up there call center on 23 Aug 2012 and changed the delivery address from home town to residing place.
4) In spite of the clear instructions given they delivered at the wrong address 165Kms far from the address given. Instead of Hyderabad they delivered in Karimnagar.
5) Now the new story starts the courier guys delivered the mobile at the wrong address WITHOUT the BILL and Gift Coupon as shown in the offer and un stamped warranty card.
6) I had to travel 165 Kms to take mobile, which cost’s me 700 Rupees and 1 Day full of stress.
7) After using the phone from the 3rd week onwards Karbonn A1 mobile stops ringing and vibrating when some one calls, from 4th week on wards in addition to the existing the problem, Speaker stopped working.
8) When I took the phone to the service center they took the phone with E-mail delivered copy from Indiatimes shopping for servicing, the very next day the service center guys called up and said they need the Bill for this phone for servicing, which was not delivered with the mobile by Indiatimes shopping guys.
9) After sending lot of mails and phone calls to the customer service desk requesting for bill and Gift coupon which was part of the offer they E-mailed me the soft copy of the bill on 1 Nov 2012.
10) This is the funniest part, Mobile was delivered to the customer on 1st Sep 2012 and the warranty started on 27 Aug 2010 before the mobile was delivered to customer warranty is started.
11) When I took the same invoice to the service center they accepted at the counter, when I went next day. Again a new story started Service center guys say this mobile is purchased in north India so we cant do the service in south India,
12) I called up the customer care center and informed the same the call center guy advised to, Ask the service guys to give a written statement of the above mentioned point and then send the same to them(Indiatimes guys), They want customers to do there job.
13) While accepting the mobile in the service center they gave back mobile back cover and battery, but did not return the 8 b SD card, While giving back the mobile UNSERVICED next day service center guys removed the 8gb SD card and fail to return the card, when asked about the SD Card they say you never gave us the card.
14) Till date NO action is been taken by the Indiatimes Shopping.com that’s the WORST experience in my life dealing.
15) From 13 Aug till date I have sent 26 E-mails and lots of phone calls to the Indiashpponig but the problem is still the same.

Therefore I suggest U all never dare to make an online purchase from INDIA TIMES SHOPPING keeping in mind the above 15 points.

    I placed Order No. [protected] for B1054453 - Samsung Galaxy S Duos S7562 (Black) with Indiatimes shopping on 07/12/2012. Expected date of shipment was 14/12/2012 and delivery was expected on 17/012/2012. However the the item has not been shipped as yet. A complaint no. 573954 had been raised with the seller on 15/12/2012 but no satisfactory action has yet been taken.

      I purchased a sony xperia tipo dual mobile handset through indiatimesshopping on dt 22oct12 which order no.is [protected]. he deliver mobile handset on dt 8nov 12 but headphone and screen protector has not been deliver yet. I called customer care he register a complaint which no. is 499445 and assured me that it will be resolved on dt 28 nov 12 but till date he neither deliver my product nor respond my phone call. pls take it matter higher prorioty

        I Have ordered xbox 360 with kinect bundle with mrp 26990 on 9th november 2012 and i was given order no. [protected] but on 14 nov i got different product with mrp 15990. i made complaint immediately within 15 mins both telephonically and throug email and i was given order no. 509746. i was assured that product will get reverse picked up within 24 to 48 hrs ( i have telephonic communication recorded) then new product within next 5 to 7 working days maximun. then after repeated emails ( more than 20) and calling customer care of indiatimes shooping more than 12 times ( all records available) they have not replaced or arranged for reverse pick up. i even cancelled my order and asked them for refund ( as i purchased new product from different store) but still after one month the response from customer support of indiatimes shopping is deaf. they have cheated me and made a serious damage to the trust of online shopping. i have all the records with fake assurance.
        when they delivered the product within 5 days of order still they are struggling to arrange reverse pickup after one month of wrong delivery. and my money is still struck after more than one months.

        I have purchased a a hand blender fron india time shopping .But when i received it i was surpried that i item that was shown in website was not in packet. It was just a baby toy.And when i contact then they send it was by mistake. We courier the pack and send to mumbai by ondot courier airbilll no:[protected].I have submit then the details on 3rd sep and they assured me the product will deliver in 10 days. now today i talk to them they told me that the item is not received by them. As the ondot courier showed delivered status.Everytime when i call indiatimes they give us new excuse

          i have booked a induction cooker with delight coking set from indiatimesshopping.com.i got the product on 8th nov with broken kadai handle and without bill for the induction cooktop.my order number was [protected]. i give complain on 9th nov 2012 with case id 499741. they take the complain and provide me the resolution date on 29 th NOV 2012. but till date i have not got any mail or call from the merchant.i called them to resolve the complain they are telling it is on process. neither they sending the bill nor for damaged delivery.please take action against them.thaey chaeting the customer

            My order number is [protected]. The item was sent to me however it was a tampered/ damaged item. The company seal on the box was broken . I have called indiatimes however no action has been taken as of now . Case id is 543441 !! Would be grateful if you could sort out this problem immediately as I had purchased this item last month and till date the proper item has not been delivered to me.

            Its simply irritating to talk to different customer reps each time and explain them the issue with them assuring a call back in ten minutes which never comes.

            This is not the kind of service expected of Indiatimes Shopping .

            Please help !

              I have written on following complain to customer service indiatimes"
              I like to inform you that today I have received my parcel from BLUEDART courier at about 3P.M .
              Packing of the parcel is in a good condition and I accept the same.
              After opening the parcel I found one "Philips Toaster HD4815", after reading the manual thoroughly I want to operate the same but surprisingly I saw that one popup tray(grill) is broken and not operating by knob.so bread is not come out from toaster.I verify the same from local shop that both the tray are operating by the Lever(up-down knob). So I received a damage item and I want to a replacement of the same product as it is very useful for me.

              Kindly cooperate with me and replace the defective one at your earliest.I will be ready to return the defective one to your representative.

              Indiatimes Online Shopping — Refund of money

              I have not received the replced product nor the amount for the purchase made through Indiatimes shopping.

              I had booked an online gift to be deliver to mumbai. This booking was done through www.giftwithlove.com and was supposed to be delivered on 21st Jan 2009 before 4 pm. unfortunately the delivery has not been made till now and there is no communication or response from there end inspite of repeated calls and mails from me.
              The order number was CART20390397.

              The payment has been done from my end. When they advertise on their site saying that midnught delivery and one day delivery they should meet it.

              i think thieir is some fraud involved .

              the matter has already been filed in the national consumer court against your shopping site and dealers.

              now thw matter will be resoved with compensation for fraud and misuse of customer info on the pretext of shopping.

              Indiatimes Online Shopping — no product delivery, no refund

              I purchased a toy helicopter for 1100 ruppees online at indiatimesshopping.com (order no.[protected] .). They did not deliver it for long time and when i wrote an email to them about it, after 2-3 weeks they cancelled the order without asking me. They have not returned the money back, rather they have offered a gift certificate. effectively, they want to keep money our money for free or they want us to buy unnecessary/worthless things from them.
              I was deceived because the name of times of india newspaper is associated with them. Take these fraudsters to consumer court.

              Indiatimes Shopping — product was damaged and all things as said not delivered

              customer service executive don't given proper information, all say's different things, i have told i will mobile pouch with my order and 2 GB memory card, but i have received only mobile blackberry strom 9530, and the piece i have ordered it was damaged, very wrong service or you can say cheating with customers, my order no is[protected]

              Nokia 2690 model — wrong specifications, no proper accessories

              I ordered Nokia mobile 2690 model in my order no 3599499. The specification given was it is dual sim mobile But it doent have. They have not given me usb cord and head prhone. Also I was having indiatimes gift voucheres. Their system didnt merge the vouchers and they instead charged me for that I think this way Indiatime shopping is fooling customers

              I ordered Nokia 2690 through Inidatime shorpping and the order no was 3599499 They gave wrong specifications mentioning that its a dual sim handset. Also they didnt give accessories like USB cord and headphone. As I had 4 gift vouchers, but the system didnt mege the certificate and I have to pay for the product inspite of my having vouchers. I think Indiatime online shopping taking online shoppers for a ride and fooling them. Their custemer care people never took my complaint

              Indiatimes Online Shopping — Refund of money against order no. 11228171

              One year after lodging my subject complaint and requesting for a refund of about Rs 3000/- I had paid for the advertised product the company has disowned that the gadget ordered by me had FM radio in the first place itself and asked me to give a proof. They have also given me specifications of another product which they say was advertised at that time though I could not find it on their website now.
              Earlier the company had accepted my complaint and informed me that my refund is under process.

              I think reputable companies like this need to be exposed so that many gullible consumers can be saved.

                I placed an order for subscription of a magazine withe Indiatimes on 12the October. The first issue was committed to be delivered by 19the November (35 days after placing an order). I waited patiently. on 12the November I received a message theat thee product will be delivered withein 4 days. Product was not delivered.

                On 21st I called up theese guys again to know thee status of delivery, theey had no clue. I asked theem to cancel thee order, and committed a refund by 28the November by theeir service manager Swati Ratlani.

                its been 15 days, and no sign of product or refund. I called up again, and theey say theere is no such remark for refund mentioned. They also said about not being able to track thee shipment.

                  I have order "Seagate Goflex 1TB hard disk" form indiatimes shopping it's model no. is STAA1000302. They have taken full payment from me and delivered wrong product to me i.e "Seagate Backup Plus 1TB hard disk" and its model no. is STBU1000300. I have filed a complaint there now they have closed my complaint by saying its a wrong complaint. They have closed my complaint without informing me. They have fraud me have took my money and they are now refusing to do any thing in my complaint. As per their policy I have complaint them about the product with in 24 hrs and they took more then 48 hr to call and not called yet about my complaint and closed it without any notification to me.

                    I purchased a Samsung Galaxy S3 from Indiatimes Shopping for which first I was told after 20 days that it is OUT OF STOCK !! Wonder how an item can go out of stock after I have paid for it ! how can they accept an order for an item which is Out of Stock ?!?! After complaining and talking to them for 5 continuous days they did send me the item however the company seal on the box was tampered with , actually cut open ! After repeated complaints they are doing nothing about it simply giving tareekh after tareekh like the Indian Courts !!!! DISGUSTING !!

                    Request you to kindly take strict action against them and not just that take away their license !!! They deserve nothing better.

                    All i am getting from Indiatimes Shopping is a new customer rep calling every 24-48 hrs. No action taken ! Only false promises of calling back with a solution but every day one rep calls to ask ma'am what is the problem . With the call ending in "Oh !! Okay, ma'am please wait for my call I will talk to the concerned department and my seniors and get back to you in half an hour". But the call comes only after 24 hrs or more and that too doesn't have a solution with it but yet again a new rep only wanting to know what the EXACT problem is as though with each call with a new rep the EXACT problem changes !!!

                    Either solve the problem folks or just admit that you guys are frauds !!! Stop trying to play the blame game now trying to get the courier guy involved in it !!! you guys are miserable ! playing the most obvious game !

                    HORRIBLE !!!

                    Should be ripped off license for life !

                    Simply pathetic ! I really don't understand how these people can be so shameless ! Each time a new customer rep calls and they all have the same thing to ask .. "what is the problem ma'am?" . You narrate the entire matter as though it is some fairy tale story you are narrating to a child and then the same reaction comes from them ... "Oh ! Okay! I understand ma'am. Don't worry I will get back to you in ten minutes after talking to the concerned department and my seniors !" I have spoke to 4-5 reps regarding this. It is really shameful ! But then shameless for some I guess !

                      Indiatimes Shopping — Wrong delivery, still waiting for replacement

                      I ordered a DVD online arund two months back on Indiatimes shopping. On the first place wrong DVD was delivered to me. After calling customer care finally they told me the process of getting it replaced. Now I have returned the wrong DVD but stll waiting for the replacement DVD to arrive. Callled Customer care many times but everytime I call they will assure that it will reach to you within next 10 Days.
                      Now it's almost 2 months. Have got really frustated with the online shopping experience with Indiatimes.
                      I have Ordered Blackberry torch vide order No[protected] on[protected] Paid Rs 28289, they named dealer as Akansha Distributers Pvt Ltd as vendor, I Received Courier on[protected] containing sealed Box from Indiatimes...
                      When I opened it was Vacant & No Mobile inside, it contains only Blackberry box with charger & Invoice...I complained on there given No's .talked to executive Jyotsana who gave me complaint No..& now they want verification etc etc etc...& more 8-10 days

                      I got heavily shocked with cheating from India times...
                      it is totally fraud company, they take money in advance & dont deliver product..they act smartly take advantage of poor judicial & law & order system ...take ur money in advance & u will be delvered a blank box...& update their shipping details to deliverd..
                      After being cheated by Indiatimes...

                      wht should i do..Now is this time to go for litigation, complaints & police

                        had purchase a BSNL penta tablet through Indiatimes Shopping on 7th Nov'12, The product was delivered to me on 14th Nov. I was surprize to see that they sent me a used one tablet having lot of skrecthes on front as well as back , immediatel i called for replecement and they have registered a case against this on 14th Nov (CASE ID-510493). Till then i have chated to their customer care for 03 times, called their helpline no 5-6 times but those people are still not looking forward for replacement.They always promise that my tablet will be picked very soon but so far 14 days has gone and nothing is doen at their end.
                        What they did.. they just ask to their vendor to send tablet against my order without checking and finally customer has to suffer .They are simpley non responsive and making a bad name of online shopping. I had a good image of other online sites like flipcart, yebhi,myntra,jabong etc but this is worst online shopping site.

                        Yeah..this is the worst online site..i even experienced.

                        Here is the problem i faced and i am planning to approach them legally.

                          I had ordered a phone on 20th Nov'12 with order number - [protected] and is due to be delivered by 30th Nov'12. But, since then there is no change in shipment status along with no status information shared until now. It only shows order verified. That's it.

                          I am doubtful for delivery on due date with current status and don't think it will get delivered by that time.

                          I have planned to send it as a gift to my relative to mark special day and any delay here will really nullify the purpose of purchase itself. Please clarify when the shipment will be couriered from your side along with AWB tracking number.

                            I had placed an order for Samsung Galaxy S3 on Indiatimes Shopping, paid in full through my credit card , waited for 10 days for the item to be shipped to me . However upon no status update regarding shipment i started emailing them to which too there was no response. They were supposed to ship me the item on the 24th of nov which hasnt happened. Not just that they claim that the item is OUT OF STOCK ?! how can they take orders on an item which is out of stock ? Full payment was made . They knew very well that there was a problem regarding this item but they did not inform me. Only when i finally called them today did they mention that the item is out of stock. They are total FRAUDS and CHEATS ! Rob you of your money. The actual reason probably is that indiatimes has provided an extra discount on the item which the dealer cannot provide and has refused to ship ! this is not my problem !!! neither are they refunding the money nor are they acknowledging their ignorance towards the matter. Its a case of NON-DELIVERY of item after FULL PAYMENT and they call it cancellation and "IF" i want a refund case !!!

                            This is ridiculous ! I think the consumer court for online shoppers should take strict action against indiatimes shopping so that they do not lure customers showing them discounts and then not providing the item nor the money !!!

                            Please help me regarding this asap !!! Your help is greatly required !

                            India Times Shopping — Non-Receipt of Ordered items

                            I had placed an order for jwellery through Indiatimes Shopping and paid through my credit card on 13 September 2009. Till date I have not received the ordered items. On repeated follow up through phone and emails, the only response that is received is "we will revert within 48 hours" or "we are following up with the merchant and will soon revert". I have a complete series of emails evidencing this exchange. I have even requested for cancellation of my order and refund of payment but no response is received.

                            I the undersigned had ordered a Nokia E71 mobile phone vide my order No[protected], online on 14th Nov 2009, and on 15th Nov 2009 I received a call presumably from the Indiatimes confirming my order with tthe order details to which I confirmed and later I find on their website on my account that the item has been despatched on 15th Nov 2009, I waited till 23rd Nov and since the item was not received I lodged a complaint No 27907 with the Indiatimes Customer Care, today 25th Nov I tried to confirm from the courier company mentioned on the details of my order ie Aramex at Mumbai and was told that the AWB NO mentioned has not been booked with them to date, what am I to make of this wonder, my credit card has been debited with the amount of 13544/- towards the payment of the same, when I contacted Indiatimes customer care again I was told to wait for another week for the order to materialise and the consignment to be ddeliverd to me, I am a harrassed lot and would recommend no sane person book online with Indiatimes for shopping you will only come to grief.

Further I want to say items are not same and less delivered which are suppose to be as per newspaper advertisement. Also all bangles are very small in size, while giving order I have requested for bigger size. Finally it is very much true that items are not worthy as per paid cost.

It has been over a month and my product is showing as shipped but they have not shipped it till now. The customer service mentioned that due to Diwali there was a delay and they keep saying that they will contact me after 48 hours.                                 The price of the pen drive was Rs 712 and the redeemable coupon was for

                                    I have order (Order No:[protected]) Metal Lunch Box on Oct 12, 2012 1:17 AM using net banking. They told me that they delivery my product with in 5 to 7 working date (Expected/Actual Delivery Date[protected] But still they did not delivery my product.When ever i call customer care executive they always told me "the product will be deliver with in 48 hr to 72 hr" .I have call customer care executive almost 10 to 12 time and i have spend almost 50 to 60 rupee to communicate with them. I have register a complain in their site and complain number is 459900(date:01/11/2012 ). Today i have call their customer care executive(2 time) to know my product status then the executive told me "he forward the call the case manager " but waiting 10 to 15 min they cut the line.

                                      I have ordered for a Karbonn mobile on 26-sept-2012 and received the mobile on 4th oct-2012. The order no is [protected].
                                      I received the mobile in damaged condition with the mobile box seal open. I informed the customer care, they said contact karbon service centre as it is under warranty. Karbon service centre is saying there is a physical damage for the screen panel and it does not come under warranty.
                                      The times of india customer care is so pathetic that they repeat the same statement to go to karbonn service centre.
                                      I a frustated calling the timescustomer care as they dont tell me how to get this problem resolved.
                                      As per the customer service request I sent the snapshots of the damaged product and they created a case with id: 451275. As per the site this case should be closed by 7th Nov, so far I did not hear any thing from customer service.


                                      Please help me how to rectify this issue?
