i purchased on product (i.e laser jet printer ,canon MF 3110 ) with order number --[protected] from india times shopping ,by paying money in advance by credit card. order expected delivery date is over now. when i track product online it seems that product is returned from nashik only without any intimation to me .
this is my aramex shipment number.

when i contacted to indiatimes shopping ,they are saying we cant cancel your order until we receive our product back and their after we will charge you again to cancel it. what is my misatke in that?? i i do ??

Indiatimes — Product Not working Purchase Online

Hi,

I have purchase a Wall Clock of Rs 6000 from internet through Indiatimes (shopping.indiatimes.com) on 30th Dec 2010 from Bangalore.

I had specified the Address of Pune but they delivered the Wall Clock to Bombay and didnt bother to call back to verify. When i called them i havent recieved the delivery then they sent be another item to my Pune address.

The wall clock which they have delivered is a faulty non working Clock. When i raised the concern with them, they said to return the product by Aramex Courier and said the Courier Person will come and collect the courier. But still that Aramex Courier Person havent came to collect the Wall Clock and when i call the Indiatimes Consumer Care they say they will come.

Can any one let me know what needs to be done

    Hi,

    I have ordered two items in Shopping.indiatimes.com online shopping.

    Only one item is received after 10 days but not the another one, after 15 days I submitted the complaint and they told "NO STOCK".

    So I accepted for refund on december 28 2012..

    Its been 3 months from the date of order and I have not yet received my refund coupon.

    Most of the items displayed in the website are "out of stock" but they are not updating the same.

    I have been submitting complaints from the date of order but receiving poor customer service from them.

    GUYS PLEASE DONT CHOOSE indiatimes website for online shopping.

      I have bought a mobile from india times shopping website which delivered to me on 16th feb 2013. After two days i noticed that the battery is draining out very quickly. After that mobile was not getting on. I went to Authorized Service Centre and they gave me DOA Certificate and i sent the scanned copy on [protected]@indiatimes.co.in as india time people told me that they will lodge the complaint when i will mail them the same on 21st feb 2013. They told me to send the mobile back to them through courier and they will give me a gift coupon of rs 250 against courier charges but when i went to Bluedart courier ltd office they told me that its an expensive mobile and it will cost me Rs 1500 for courier charges. So i called up again on indiatimes shopping helpline and they assured me that they will provide me the reverse pickup and gave me the time till 4th march 2013 but till now they havnt provided me the reverse pickup and that TAT of the resolution is 15th march 2013 only. Each time they are requesting for give time for 24 hours but nothing done. Please help me out . My complaint number is 696803 and the order number is [protected]. The mobile is Karbonn a111 and its cost is Rs 9500.

      i have again got a call from mr harish yesterday and again he told me to wait for another 2-3 days for reverse pickup. How can i believe?
      nothing happened yet. what u guys are doing? Give me the status of my complaint right now and let me know what happened till now.
      what a service you are providing to the customers? I have sent
      you guys the scanned copy of DOA on 21st feb 2013. You guys have not
      done anything and today when the TAT of the complaint is expiring
      tomorrow then I got a call that the DOA certificate which you have
      sent to us is not having stamp of ASC. Guys where were you from the
      day when I registered my complaint. I have spent Rs 200-300 on calls
      made to you. How will you compensate for all that . You guys
      frustrated me alot. My one of the worst experience. Product is still
      with me. You guys dont even provided me reverse pickup till now. I
      will get the DOA certificate sealed tomorrow and will send you the
      scanned copy. Will see what you guys gonna do after that.
      can u people please explain what you are doing or everyone sitting there is deaf, blind and dumb.

          i ordered two products

          1) Strontium Pollex 4GB Pen Drive
          (i did not receive the product as described, then i was said i will get a Rs. 200 Gift Copoun which i did not receive till date, then the last time i got a call i said i dont want the GC as i will not shop with you and i want a refund)
          many complaints have been made - but no response

          2)Laptop Notebook Skin High Quality - LP0252
          (i did not receive the product, i gave an alternate address, still i did not receive the product, then i said i want a refund Rs. 301 but i received a refund of Rs. 158.72)

          i dont know what is the matter with my case
          are they fooling me around

          or INDIATIMES is turning in beggar and looting customers

          i just want to know will i get the full back or not.

          skin cover of laptop — not refunded

          I HAVE ORDERED SKIN COVER OF KEYBOARD FOR MY COMPUTER, SOMEONE CALLED FROM THE OFFICE AND INFORMED ME THE UNAVAILABILITY OF SUITABLE SIZE, AND ASKED ME CONTACT CUSTOMER SERIVE TO CANELL THE ORDER. I DID THE SAME, BUT THEY DIDNT RESPOND OF SENT ME REFUND ADVICE. ANOTHER MATTER I HAVE PURCHASED AN EXERCISER MACHINES FOR RS.3200/- THEY SENT ME A DAMAGED UNIT, AND SO MANY CORRESPONDENCE I FED UP AND STOP WRITING. I NEVER SEEN A DAM SERVICE LIKE THIS. NOW I AM DEALING WITH E-BAY THEY ARE VERY GOOD AND FAST.

            Do not buy anything from Indiatimes Shopping.
            Here my experience with them, I placed a mobile order [protected], on 21st Feb, when I called INDIATIMES SHOPPING representative ADITI SHARMA, told me to wait for one more week to get this product delivered as been told by her manager. When I asked for the name of her manager she told that she cannot provide the name and will give case manager name. And she LAUGHED on me while giving this information.

            Day before yesterday when I called they told me that I will be getting
            a call in 24-48 hrs.

            Such awful customer service and failing to meet customer experience.

            I believe Indiatimes Shopping do not know the value of time.
            Despite I have called multiple times and several emails been sent.

            I have the message where it is told that the expected delivery date is 04 March 2013. And screen shot of your website where the expected delivery date is 06 March 2013.

              On Jan 18, 2012 9:13 PM I have placed an order for "Samsung E2222 [protected]@222 Dual ". (Order No : : [protected])

              The payment was successful. The company shipped the product through AFL courier which did not service my area, and it was returned automatically.

              I requested a refund and had been trying to convince them ever since that the amount was not refunded to my account. It is been over an year and I am really tired.
              I have made numerous calls and send so many emails, including copy of my bank statement to the each and every contacts they gave me.
              Every month I get reassured that the problem will be solved.
              The company says that it is my bank’s fault and gives me fake transaction numbers, each time a different one.
              I am a regular online buyer and my bank never cheated me (State Bank Of Travencore).
              I would like to end this misery whether or not I am getting my money back.

              Indiatimes Shopping — Non refund of excess payment

              . I also wish to bring to your kind notice that I purchased the following items on 27 Jul 08 from Indiatimes, through my icici credit card from my mobile

              EPSO Printer Rs 4634

              Sigmatel Mobile Rs 6329



              While entering the cc number in my mobile in order to make the payment through my credit card, the indiatimes executive informed me that the internet system did not accept the payment hence I was required to enter the card number once again. Therefore, for both the above product I entered twice.

              To my utter surprise, I was shocked to find that four debit transaction has been made from my account as mentioned below

              I immediately contacted the merchandise and your bank for refund of excess payment deducted from my account but without any fruitful result.

              I wrote to indiatimes (merchandise) on numerous occasion and send the mail, however the merchant insist that as per their records no excess payment has been received. On the other hand, bank is deducting instalment of Rs 3623 every month for the amount to be payable in six monthly instalment.
              Kindly advise
              This is so insane. I thought I was the only guy who got cheated and when I googled " India Times Shopping fraud", to my utter surprise, I found too many complaints.

              I live in USA and planned to gift some shirts to my younger brother who is in India, and ordered some Hollister and Abercrombie Shirts. First of all, I was surprised to see Hollister and A&F in an Indian shopping website coz they are only sold in USA. Then I did order some shirts and later on received an email reg the order and shipping information. After few days I was surprised to see 3 transactions from my account and immediately tried to contact the customer care(Hyderabad), and when I did I was shocked to listen that the number doesn't exist.

              I seriously wanna sue this freaking fraud website, but I do know it's a waste of time.

              Indiatimes Shopping — No Refund

              I have a very similar issue, I ordered a Blackberry 8800 on 22nd May 2009, using my ABN Amro Debit Card for Rs13950/-. (Order No[protected]. I received the mobile after a week, however there was charging problem, so I called the vendor (Mr C S Pani, Indian Magnetics, Ph no -+[protected], +[protected] and told him about the problem. I was told to return the mobile through TNT by initiating a return shipment which i did the very next day. I was also informed that a replacement will be provided within 3-4 days. However after repeated follow ups the vendor failed to resend the new mobile as it was out of stock. Mr C S Pani then advised that I can cancel the order with Indiatimes and i would get the refund. So i called Indiatimes customer care to cancel the order, at first I was told I needed to send them a scanned copy of the return shipment courier receipt which i did immediately. The next working day when i called to confirm if they have recieved my email, they said that I was given a wrong information and that I just had to give the AWBill no over the phone.(AWB no[protected].Alrite so finally my order was canceled on 15th June 2009.On June 19, 2009 I recieved an email confirmation that order cancellation request is under process of confirming with the merchant and will take upto 2 days. On June 21, 2009 I receive another mail confirming that the order has been canceled and that a refund has been processed on June 20, 2009. However the refund did not show up in my bank account as of June 20, 2009 and till date it hasnt. I have been following up with them, have sent them bank statements for the months of May till July. I even asked my bank if they can track the refund however they are unable to do so as they have no information. Everytime they keep sending a mail saying "we apologize for the inconvenience; We assure you that this matter will be resolved as per the above mentioned resolution service level agreement (SLA)" which is supposed to 3 working days and the 3 days doesnt seem to end. I request to do something and help me get my refund back. I will be highly obliged if you can help me.
              Well Finally I received my refund. it took some time but as long as it got resolved i am happy.
              Lodge a complaint against them in the consumer forum
              I ordered some product online through indiatimes shopping. the order got cancelled for no reason from their side. there was no information from their office regarding the cancellation of order and I kept waiting for delivery. After a week time, I started follow-up and they said about the cancellation of order giving reason that they could not locate my address. I have received deliveries from them in past. Although, they had my mobile number to confirm the address.
              Anyway, they said, they will refund the money. It has been 4 months now, they have not send the refund and now they are not responding to my e-mails. I approached the operation head of indiatimes shopping but he also ignores my mails now. I have no clue to get my money back. I mean there is nothing that I can do while they do not respond to my complain. This is really ridiculous, they do not bother to pay the refund.
              This is a simple way of cheating people/customers.

              I hope someone to come and guide me to resolve my problem. I am not bother about the money now but I wish this should not happen to anybody else. The responsible people must be punished. Please beware friends from such cheaters/cons. I guess the times group is from Rekitt and Colman.....is it? They should change the " L " from Colman to "N" so people may read real word... Conman....!!!

                Last time I ordered XOLO A1000 mobile(Order id- [protected]) from this site on 21st of Feb, 2013 for Rs 28,654 which after discount totaled Rs 24,355.9 approx. Firstly, I was told that expected delivery time of my order will be by 25th of Feb. Then after few days past the said date I called them up and asked about my order they said your order has been cancelled and the money will refunded within 5-10 working days. I called them again after few days since no response came from them. I emailed them 4-5 times, contacted them on their voice support everytime they gave me a fasle assurance that my case will be resolved withing 24-48 hours. Its such a shock that a big name like shoppingindia times backed by the Times group can do such a fraud with the customers.

                  They are doing fake buisness, when i buying it is in stock but after am waiting 11 days they told that it is out of stock they are not replying properly and the call center person told that it is in out of stock do you cancel the order so i cancelled my order with sad.... they don't know how am waiting for getting the mobile and how much we have spend the time to buy the mobile, am so sad about their carelessness.... refund of my money is in progress but i don't know how many days they take to refund my money from these indiatimes bluddy careless peoples....

                    This is Sushil K Madwani. I oredered HUAWAI ASCEND G600 mobile on 21st Feb 2013.

                    The expected shipping date was 2nd March, on the 2nd March itself I called customer care asking status they said they will deliver the product on time and I will recieve the product by 7th March.
                    On the very same day I recieved a call from them saying sorry sir we can't deliver the product, When I asked for the reason they opened a complaint and please read what is ahppening with that complain

                    1. I am unable to understand why after 10 days keeping my money, you are saying that sorry we are unable to shop the order.
                    2. As a responsible shopkeeper you could have checked your stock in advance and could have updated your site, so that I could have not ordered.
                    3. I missed 2 other opportunities for the same product on other websites ( ebay and Shopclues) during your inactive period. Now if I am going to buy the same product I have to pay 2000 rs extra, which is only because of your irresponsible behavior.
                    4. On Friday 1st March'13 5 PM , I got a call from Miss Komal Raheja Stating that IndiaTimes is unable to ship the product, On my insistence I got a call from Shyam Siddaqi, who promised me, he will get back with the product update by Sat 2nd March 6PM, which still I am waiting for.
                    5. One thing be sure either I want mobile or I want my complete money back with compensation without any condition or its better we should meet in consumer court.
                    6. I just want to tell you When I was browsing, I saw the brand image of IndiaTime is, 'better avoid purchasing from it as it always cancel the order after keeping money for 1 month'. so please change your image or keep yourself out of this business. Online business works on Trust.
                    After this fiasco I have lost my trust and I will also join anti-Indiatime brigade which I can promise is going to badly affect your business.

                    Have a trust like FLIPKART, which allow us to blindly buy the product.

                    Remark 4: I talked with Chetan Meena by calling on customer care @ 10:20 AM on 05th March'13, he promised me he will come back to me within 24 hrs with the solution.

                    Hope this time Chetan do not act like Shyam Siddaqi and think about customer first.

                    Indiatimes Shopping — Product not delivered even after a month

                    I purchased a product from indiatimes online shopping site on 30 September 2009. It claims that the product will be delivered in 6 days but after 20 days i am still waiting for the order. The site claims that the product has been shipped but to whom..?? I try to contact to the courier company but to no rescue, unable to get through the helpline numbers of Indiatimes and ELBEE courier. Is this a new way theft money from people pocket.

                    I want to know How and what are the legal actions i can take against Indiatimes and ELBEE courier.

                    It has been more than 20 days for my order has not been received till now after so may followups and assurances give by customer Care so bad for a name like India times.

                    On 21'st dec10 i received the Sony(4GB Micro Vault Pen drive) but no clue about the Nokia 5233.It's been frustrating and waiting so long i think i have done a big mistake ordering from this shopping site and make sure not to deal in future .

                    I called customer care today also but no positive response from there side and they are having attitude like if i want to cancel my order instead of sorting out the problems at there end :)

                          I have purchased Karbonn smart tab tab in the month of Dec 2012. The ad published in the paper saying that the cost of TAB is 7000.00 which includes gift coupan of Rs 1000.00 and 1500.00 worth Reliance dongle free. I have sent so many mails and also made phone calls. None of them is bother to send us 1000.00 gift coupan. First i have sent on mail on 24.12.12. They sent reply saying that they will send the gc by 31.12.12. Again i sent a mail on 7.1.13 saying that nothing has come and no action from india times shopping. Ms Pooja Yadav replied saying that with 48 hours my case is refered to team leaders and they will sort out the issue. Again on 15.1.13 i have sent mail and this time Mr. Kartik Pahwa replied the same that with in 48 hours they will sort out and team leaders will call u. Nothing has happend. Again 28.1.13 i have sent mail refering all old mails. This time Mr. Vishnu Sharma replied with same above answers. Again 12.2.13 i have sent a mail and no reply and again i sent mail on 18.2.13 and this time Mr. Bhopal singh sent a reply saying the same above. I am fed up with India times shopping and request you to intervene and solve my issue.

                            Initially it wasn't delivered until reminded 4 times and then to my surprise Tweaked Packaging as Games Supplied By Sony as part of Product were missing. Complained same day as 645086 on 21st January but not resolved till date. Seems India Times is doing a Big Fraud on the name of Shopping. Even when not able to deliver committed not even responding to emails and giving new Date every time.

                            Indiatimes — Worst experience with india times

                            Hi,

                            I ordered for a book in indiatimes shopping. They said the book is out of stock. Instead of returning the money, they gave the Gift certificate and they gave a dead line of 3 months.. When I asked for refund of the order they are refusing to return the money. They are not replying to the mail I sent.

                            I didnt have a need to buy something from the site and also I dont want to buy because my second order in the same site was also a failure. I chose one chudidhar and they sent me some other design which I didnt like.

                            So BEWARE OF INDIATIMES SHOPPING...

                            I ordered PS3 from Indiatimes on 7th January and after multiple reminders got 22nd January and realized it is Partial Delivery. 3 Games offered by Sony itself as part of package and committed by India Times were not part of package delivered. Raised complaint same day "No Action Taken" till date.

                            Even multiple reminders, calls, emails, chat no action taken till date and still not confirmed when it will be delivered. Earlier I was told missing items will be delivered by February 11 and internal reminders were showing that. Now India Times even not bothered to respond why not available,

                              I placed order for product "Salt & Pepper Shaker - Slim (Mosaic Houseware)" at Indiatimes Shopping website on 5th Jan 2013. The offer price mentioned on the website listing was Rs. 185 after discount on price of Rs. 245.

                              I received the product and was amazed to see the product was not having any MRP mentioned on the box or on the product itself. I raised a complaint as its illegal to sell an Indian product without MRP mentioned on it. Case number : 621876

                              I got a call and was told that they have all rights to seLl product without MRP and this is a fake case opened by me.

                              Later on I contacted Mosaic Houseware to know the real MRP of the product and I was informed its MRP is Rs. 175.

                              I wrote several mails to Indiatimes for speaking to seniors who can resolve this issue but they dont reply at all.

                                I ordered Nokia Asha 308 (gold) dated February 8, 2013 vide Order No. [protected] through shopping.indiatimes.com. Around 15 days later the shipping details were updated. When I tracked the shipment (Blue Dart, AWB: [protected]) I found the details were incorrect. After that when I contacted customer service they said that they have cancelled the order. I used a gift card of Rs. 5000 while payment which was verified and approved by indiatimes . Now that gift card is no more valid. This is a severe treachery on part of indiatimes shopping and I would like to lodge a complaint against them.

                                  I bought a HTC mobile phone through Indiatimes Shopping website on 14Dec choosing the 6 months EMI offer on credit card. However the entire amount was charged to my credit card and no EMI conversion happened. Raised the complaint (complaint No 614578) with Indiatimes around 45 days back and still it's not resolved. Every time I call, they have a standard useless response that I'll get a call back within 24 to 48 hrs from the concerned department but only a couple of times got a call back from them saying that the problem is resolved but it was never resolved. Some of the customer service agents do not even understand how the EMI option works.

                                  So please do not get cheated by EMI offers from Indiatimes Shopping. You will end up paying interest on the credit card balance as the transaction amount will never get converted to EMIs.

                                  Same thing happened to me today. I placed order No. [protected] with Indiatimes using HDFC EMI 6 months option, but the amount has been decucted from my Acc in single go and no EMI conversion took pplace.

                                  While I tried to take up with Cust care executives, they are not even able to understand the issue.

                                    I have been calling DTDC & Satvik Shop almost every alternate day & all I get to hear from Satvik shop is that " your complaint has been registered & our Executive will get in touch with you"

                                    After further investigation DTDC executive revealed that the said shipment was taken back at the airport itself by Satvik shop as there was some leakage in the bottles. Futher on 18th February they updated the status that I refused to accept the parcel and hence it was sent back.

                                    Where as I am not getting any satisfactory reply from satvik Shop.

                                    They are playing musical chair.
                                    Tracing my order is such a mental torture.
