I ordered a galaxy s3 smartphone on indiatimes website bearing order number [protected] on 29th september, 2012. The product was expected to be shipped on 6th october but sadly till date it has not been shipped to me. I have been calling the customer service department everyday for the last one week and I never get a satisfactory reply from them. They keep raising complaints and give false promises that the product will be shipped soon. Today they told me that the product is not available,but instead it shows as in stock on their website. Can't believe they are advertising one samsung s3 to be won everyday when they can't even ship it to people who have already paid in full.
Coming from times of india stable I was sure that I wouldn't face any problems with it but I was wrong. Won't recommend anyone to buy anything from their site. Now I am even apprehensive of cancelling the order. I am sure they will harass me forever to get a refund. Don't know what to do other than approaching the consumer court.

Hi,

I had ordered a phone on 20th Nov'12 with order number - [protected] and is due to be delivered by 30th Nov'12. But, since then there is no change in shipment status along with no status information shared until now. It only shows order verified. That's it

I am doubtful for delivery on due date with current status and don't think it will get delivered by that time.

I have planned to send it as a gift to my relative. Please clarify when the shipment will be couriered from your side along with AWB tracking number.

Will appreciate earliest response from your side.

    I have received message from 58888001 stating that Re 1/- as cost for subscription to indiatimes jokes for one day.It's happening from 10/10/2012(10:26 PM) .I would like to mention here that i have not subscriped for the above mentioned services.Kindly arrange to revert the amount deducted.
    To deactivate they are asking to sms UNSUB JOKES to 58888 and an amount of Rs.2/- will be charged for the same.Kindly stop this services & deduction

      I purchased a hard disk""seagate expansion 2 tb ext." From indiatimes online shopping website on 11th september. I made it sure by calling to customer support wheather the product I was looking for is available or not and they replied yes.

      After recieving the product it was not as I expected it.(I was looking for external hard disk without charger but they delivered the wrong product).

      On 18th I called the customer support and asked them to replace it.

      I waited for there response but it was null.But despite repeated calls to get it replaced, the customer service adviser would assure me that manager would call up,I called them up 20 times and so finally asked for a refund.
      And not they have even avoided attending my calls.

      The another part was when I mail them my query what they do is just reply via system generated mails.

      Worst experience.!!

      The worst part is the customer care is very inefficient in handling any form of query,I have spend a lot of money calling them up, but it was a waste of my time and money.I would want my refund immediately and have sworn to stay away from this particular website-shopping.Indiatimes.Com

      Indiatimes Shopping — no refund no product

      i had ordered a giordano watch from indiatimes in the month of may , i have paid the amount but i did not get the product nor did i get my refund money.it has been more than 7 months now. i have been trying to contact them but in vain. please help me. my order no. is 2034657. my no is [protected].
      faulty product not replaced order no.[protected] and complaint number 1229781 . we gave product for replaced on[protected] and it will not receive yet now. product is sigmatel fxd 6100, touch screen, dual sim, multimedia phone D.O no.[protected]ww

      Indiatimes Shopping — Wrong product /no refund

      I had ordered for Sempr 4 pc bathroom set paying around 2000 Rs. However I have received some random 4 plastic glass which must not be worth Rs 50 also. I had called Indiatimes multiple times regarding the same this week and was kept jugling between the vendor and you people. I was also given a complaint number saying that someone will call and have my incorrect item picked up and get it replaced. But till date I have got no response regarding the same. It has been a very painfull experience shopping with Indiatimes and the customer service is absolutely unfriendly and of no help. Beware of this fraud company. You will only loose your money and waste time.
      I agree with the complainant. Even I'm one of the victim's of Indiatimes shopping. I had ordered for a touchscreen mobile phone for Rs.5500 and the same was delivered. But it was a bad phone with very bad software, bad sound quality. It was a cheap chinese product which is being sold at extravagant price by Indiatimes. When I called customer care for returing and refund, they confirmed that they will refund on my returning the mobile. Accordingly I returned the mobile, but now the same Customer Care have turned around and saying that refund is not possible. First time when I enquired after returning, they said that refund policy has been changed after I bought the Mobile and hence it is not refundable. When I called the next time, another customer care person informed that refund is not possible as their business team has informed that refund cannot be given. This shows that there is no customer friendly and standard policy in Indiatimes, further each time you call the Customer Care is giving different reasons for not refunding. Very bad and sad to see that the Times of India Group, which boasts of its publishing and journalism should be having such bad business model and causing lot of inconvenience to the customer. Now I'm waiting to see what they will say when I call them again. I have already emailed to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in and [protected]@indiatimes.co.in but there is no response.

      After my bad experience, I started checking on Indiatimes in the internet and to my horror there are scores of complaints against Indiatimes, which clearly proves that all is not well with Indiatimes shopping. Hope the professional management of Indiatimes takes immediate and timely steps to have a customer friendly business model or just shuts the indiatimes shopping. It is such a waste of time and money as we have to keep on corresponding for get our due.

      Indiatimes Shopping — No delivery of product/ No refund

      Hi,

      I ordered a Bajaj Iron on 8 Jan at Indiatimes shopping. My order number [protected].
      I waited for 20 days for the arrival of the product and at last had to shoot them a mail regarding non delivery of product.
      After that they called me saying that the Iron was out of stock and now they have shipped it, and that I would get the same in 4-5 days. They didn't had the courtesy to tell me that before I send the mail.
      Again after 2-3 days, I got a call that they are unable to deliver, so they would refund me in 3-4 days.
      Now its over 10 days, and I haven't got the money back yet!
      What kind of cheaters are they?
      Do we need to tell them how to carry out their own business?
      This is customer satisfaction that they are offering?

      I ordered a sewing machine and food processor. Both failed at first use. Placed a complaint with Times of India. They promised to replace...no action taken. Sent escalation mail. Still no response.

      Its time to realize that TOI is polluting our country with cheap China goods (both the products I ordered were made in a village of china). This is affecting our Indian industries. Their after sales support and response is zero...their standard answer is "in 72 hours we will have someone pick it up from your doorstep". Also realize that, all you have is a call center number and a mail id...there is nothing you can do to take penal action on them.

      Beware and stay away!

        I have ordered a sony mobile (order ID: [protected]) on 24th sep'12 via indiatimes shopping. As per booking status (which is still the same) is to be delivered on 4th oct'12.

        I have tried contacting customer support [protected]. They accept our complaint (case ID: 429199) and reply stating that "we will get back to you".

        I am not getting any reply on my order's shipment at all.

        I have tried other way of contacting supports (online chat, email etc.), But no luck.

        Please do not buy anything from this website. I made a big mistake by ordering a landline handset from this website and paid 6k for it. They fleeced me out of my money and still haven't seen the product. Apparently there are a lot of complaints against the merchant Circonnia.
        So please do not buy anything on this site.

        I will be shortly bringing this company to consumer's court so that they start paying up for their appalling service (actually lack of it).
        It is surprising that a company like Times of India is behind this.

        I would urge anyone who has media connections to expose this farce. I can provide any details about my experience. I have all relevant details to support the coverage.

          I had ordered (Order no. [protected]) Two Sandisk Cruzer pendrives from shopping.indiatimes.com on dated 7th Sept 12., but they sent me Pendrives not as I ordered. On registering a complaint with them (Complaint no. 406679) they asked me to submit the Photo Snap of sent Pendrives which I promptly did. Even after three to four reminders to them they have not sent me replacement. Even they have stopped responding to my e-mails.I think they are doing this to clear there inferior quality pendrives inventory.
          I hope you will help me get this issue resolved.

            My BSNL Mobile Sim number is [protected]. I am getting unwanted SMS from BT-ITIMES which is provided by INDIA TIMES. They are deducting a sum of Rs.10 per week regularly for the last 2-3 months as subscription charge. The SMS is showing a link to unsubscribe, and when clicked on the link I got the message that “You are unsubscribed”. I did this futile exercise on a number of occasions and every time I received the same message. Despite that, they continue to flood my mobile daily with a lot of SMS and charge Rs.10/= per week. I am blocking the sender every time I get an SMS from BT-ITIMES. But they defeat me by sending the SMS from new sender numbers. I am fed up with deleting the message from BT-ITIMES. Apparently either their link for unsubscribing the service is simply a fake or they wantonly disregard the unsubscribing message to continue their illegal & unauthorized charging/collection of subscription fee. The most important fact is that I have not opted for subscription of the “FOLLO” service from BT-ITIMES hosted by the INDIA TIMES and I have not downloaded any files they send by SMS. On the first hand I am losing Rs.10/= every week for nothing and secondly, the SMS, many numbers daily, is highly disturbing causing inconvenience and taking away my precious time. I have also sent an SMS to 58888 asking them to unsubscribe me from "FOLLO" service for which I have not opted subscription. But they have neither replied nor discontinued troubling me with their SMS and charging subscription fees.

            I have earlier too made a complaint about the same subject in this forum which did not yield any result.

            Therefore, please look into the matter and do the needful to stop such unauthorized SMS & subscriptions/deductions by the “FOLLO” service provider BT-ITIMES, INDIATIMES and I also request to book the BT-ITIMES, INDIATIMES for harassing the consumer with disturbing SMS and illegal unauthorized charging of subscription fee for a service to which I, the consumer, have not subscribed. The BSNL must not allow illegal unauthorized deduction of subscription from its subscriber.

              This web site http://shopping.indiatimes.com is poor shopping site. If you order any product in this site they will take ur money and they wont ship that product until you make a call. They ship the product more than 15 day after the order date and that order will be transit for more that 7 days. So pls dont make any shopping in this site.

                I ordered a book from shopping.indiatimes.com. Order no. [protected]

                They gave me a damaged book, I complained to them to compensate for it. The customer support is useless who replied twice that the complaint will be taken care of.

                I don't know what kind of system they have. It's been around 45 days, but still there is no response. Worse they always procrastinate the decision. I would advise everyone to not leave these guys if you get any damaged items. Just ping them till they die, because they have a thick skin attitude towards customers.

                  I am really aggrieved by Indiatimes approach to my order no [protected].
                  The compliant id being 394904. I am writing this follow up mail for theumpteenth time !!

                  So far during any of the communications the status of my order with regards shipment has not been notified. I was due on 7th September 2012 for the record.

                  Further,it has been 30 days now since I paid 58,200 Rs in full on 31st Aug for the Samsung 3DTV set which is still listed and "IN STOCK" on your website.

                  In your reply you are sighting problems with your merchants,kindly note that it a problem that has to be sorted out in house and can not be sighted as a lame excuse to the customer. I purchased the product from the your website hence the liability to deliver is ultimately yours.

                  The shopping experience is turning out to be traumatic and agonizing with every passing day and lack of inaction on your part :(
                  I just checked out the reviews from mouth shut post this,they too are not encouraging.

                  Kindly take responsibility and fulfill your commitment ASAP.
                  I am definitely going to take this as a case of cheating & fraud with the consumer forum if such is your attitude.I am also thinking of filing a FIR with the cyber crime cell now.All you are doing is just tarnishing the image of TIMES group.

                    I am getting unsolicited SMS from Indiatimes 58888001, and every day I get an SMS 1 Re. is deducted from my prepaid BSNL service. I sent and SMS STOP to 58888 and the unfortunate thing is 2 Rs. is charged for that service. I request the concerned to stop the service immediately, else will constrained to take the matter to the appropriate authority.

                      The service form indiatimes is pathetic and i am still to get resolution on this case. I had bought the sandisk 32 gb pendrive on[protected] and recieved it on[protected]. I had raised the complaint on the same day as wrong item was delivered from you people. Today is[protected] i.e almost a month and i still dont have my item what i ordered therefore this will be the last time i'll be buying anything from Indiatimes. I am pissed off with the kind of service support indiatimes is having and they are sitting on my complaint from the day i lodged it.

                      I had paid the amount and i cant use this product as this one is cheaper product as compared to the one i ordered and thus cant use it. They are just sending mails and i dont know whats there to investigate which took them a more than month already to figure out.

                      Kindly help me get my money back.

                          I get an sms saying "thanks for subscribing to Indiatimes subdating service", and 1. Rs is being deducted everyday. I have not subscribed for the service. They have started it without my knowledge.
                          IndiaTimes.com customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                I have ordered an External Hard Drive (Western Digital Passport 1TB Hard Disk (Blue)) by seeing at the link(http://shopping.indiatimes.com/computers/portable-hard-disk/western-digital... FROM Indiatimes Shopping (Product name -:”Western Digital Passport 1TB Hard Disk(Blue)[B977145] SKU : WDBACX0010BBL”) which cost is 6387 /-.
                                The order has been confirmed (order date September 8,2012, Order No. “[protected]”, Status Verified)

                                But when I received that product is different from which I have actually ordered http://shopping.indiatimes.com/computers/portable-hard-disk/western-digital-pass... the product which I have received from the Indiatimes Shopping is black colour and the price is also less i.e 6178 /- difference of the price is 209 /- .

                                And the worst thing is that the product name and the S/L No- which is written in the Retail Invoice (product name “WDD 1TB P.P Model # WDBBEP0010BBL” And S/L – WXG1C5205834) is different from the product which I have received by the Indiatimes Shopping (product name “Model # WDBBEP0010BBK” And S/L – WX51C6244558)

                                I want my Original product which I have ordered not this one.

                                And I need a true/actual/original retail Invoice.

                                Never ever purchase any product from indiatimes shopping site...this company is completely fraud...
                                these wont even take calls and wot they deliver to us is the wrong product.
                                I also lost my money...they cheated me by showing a fake photo and delivered a wrong product...its been 4months now...i got fedup with them...wotevr they say is lik "v r working on with ur case kindly b patient"

                                stil now i usd to check thro their site...they havent changed tht fake photo yet... they fooling people and looting money by making us begging behind them...NEVER EVER BUY ANY PRODUCT FROM INDIATIMES

                                  I am a customer of India time and purchased a Micromax funbook online.
                                  I recieved the funbox by Courier and upon recieving it I found that the screen shows a white line.
                                  I called up the customer service[protected] and the call was attended by one Rahul Juneja. (ref number 396052)
                                  He informed that i need to contact the service Center and get a DOA scanned in order from Micromax service centre.
                                  he gave me the contact number of micromax service center[protected]which does not works.
                                  hence i am clueless on this and feel cheated with my money by Indiatime.

                                  i have sent numerous emails to indiatimes about this issue and have also sent the pictures of the faulty product, and stillwaiting for there response.

                                  Never buy anything from indiatimes.

                                      I have bought Samsung Tab2 by order number # [protected] on 16thAug2012 from India times shopping website. Firstly there were delivery issue where it was not clear from your end that delivery was returned or item will be delivered to me or not. That time I have coordinated with courier company & manage delivery somehow.


                                      However item doesn’t having valid Invoice, where Invoice should have IMIE number & based on that Invoice will be considered as valid invoice. For that I have updated case ID and doing follow-up with Customer case on # [protected] & also on # [protected] with Mr. Ravi Chaudhry and already provided my IMIE number available on device.


                                      I have contacted to Modi Infosol Pvt. Ltd (Gurgaon) but they also told to contact IndiaTimes as they sold via IndiaTimes.


                                      Since 23rdAug I have been told that I will receive Invoice in one day by Ravi & Customer care but I haven’t receive till that & every time I have asked to contact Mr Ravi or Customer visa versa but couldn’t getting proper answer too.


                                      In Listing there was clearly mention that I can avail Samsung Promo offer but Samsung also unapproved the request due to IMEI not available in Invoice. Also Valid Invoice require for Warranty purpose too.


                                      I am not understand the reason for not providing Valid Invoice on this, if its genuine product with proper tax paid.

                                        I have ordered a google Nexus 7 tablet from India time shopping website and supposed to deliver it today. They have not even shipped the product and also not responded properly for complaints.
