Indiatimes shopping is totally fraud and cheat.

I send mony for Sigmatel S400 handset, but another defective non-working dead model was sent by Teknix. As per advice from Indiatimes, I sent back the mobile 4 times, but each time Teknix returned the box without opening it.

Now the dead phone is lying with me !!! Everyone is advised to avoid the trap of Indiatimes shopping.

I have purchased a mobile online, after receving mobile I have found following defect in mobile Which are mentioned below-
1.Online mobile name Is “I-PHONE” with dual sim, but when I received it the name on mobile is just “PHONE” With dual sim.
2.They have provide us a “IMEI” number on mobile, but its was not registered, i.e they are selling a unregistered mobile, So a Device without IMEI no. is Just a device not a Mobile.
3.They are showing mobile price online “6490/-Rs” but on mobile box it is mentioned “4000/-Rs” and the market price is “2500/-To 3000/-Rs” only.
4. The Sigmatel Mobile provided by them comes with two batteries in which One battery is not Working.
5.a.First Call TEKNIX For 6 time they had not responded to my call, in working Hour Working Day.
b. Second Call a person received & told me nobody is here so give call next day.
c.Third call They have told me they sold unregistered mobile only.
They have given a bill in which following detail are mentioned “VAT TIN No: [protected]V w.e.f. 1/4/06” and “CST TIN No: [protected]C w.e.f. 1/4/06”

Teknix (sometimes takes another name "Circonia") is a thief. The seller is a fraud and cheat. I had been cheated by the seller and Indiatimes shopping. They sent me a non-working dead mobile. I could not be able to refund of my money.
I totally agree with the complaint.
Teknix/Circonia are cheats indeed.
I was looking to buy a Sony Cybershot H55 camera on the net. The MRP of the camera is Rs 14, 995. Since everyone tries to save money if one can, I searched the net for the same. Under India Times Shopping, I found that the camera was available for 13, 600 + 200 as shipping charges.
I like a fool fell for the trap.
After a gap of 20 day and countless phone calls and emails, the camera was delivered to me and to my utter shock, I found that it was from the 'grey market' (smuggled) without any warranty of theSony Company. No Memory Stick, Waist Strap or Carry Case...a total loss of more than Rs 2000 and no warranty!!
Phone Nos given on the Bill and the courier package do not exist!!
A solid fraud and case of cheating.
Dear friends, do not buy any thing from Indiatimes Shopping...because they say we are not responsible for the fraud!!
I am an Army Officer and have been cheated of my hard earned money.

I purchased a Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 mobile phone from India times shopping(www.shopping.indiatimes.com) worth Rs 23174 /- with one year warranty on march 23rd,2010.
The display of the mobile is not working now and also it is not reading memory card since day 1.The phone is not working. All this should be covered in warranty.
I have sent the handset back to India times twice with a complaint for repairing. But both the times they sent me the phone back saying they cannot take care of the problems and I should get it repaired from outside.
Moreover , when i got the phone checked from Sony Ericsson service center (Noida) , they told me that this phone does not belong to India and IMEI number is not from India and not registered with them.Even the manuals are not in English.I fear its a smuggled phone which they sold me.

Please help me with this matter.India times is not showing any co-operation and have said they cannot do anything.

Seeking for a positive action

But after several calling to their customer care I an assured that they will send me the product by next friday(17th of august) which I dont believe because I have been assured by them that i would be getting the product last Saturday, Monday, Tuesday etc etc.. It just doesnt happen. They make empty promises and we have to wait for them to break it to call them up again. I have asked for cancellation and full refund. Let me see what happens with that now.

I placed an order early in the morning at around 0800hrs on 02 Aug 2010 with Indiatimes Shopping for a cake and the product to be delivered to Kolkata. Several times I interacted with customer support executives at telephone number [protected] from morning itself. They always informed me that the order will be delivered by 2000hrs (8p.m.) of the same day i.e. 02 Aug 2010.

At around 1600hrs I again contacted with customer support executives about the delivery information. They again confirmed me that the payment was verified from my banker and the product will be delivered within the assured time i.e. 2000hrs. Also, they gave me the vendor's name and telephone number i.e. Mr. Deepak and[protected] and advised me to contact directly the vendor about the product delivery. My repeated effort of establishing the contact with the vendor were in vain. Initially, the number was busy for several times and finally when it was ringing, none was there to pick it up.

Finally I once again contacted with the customer support executives at around 1844hrs and the call was attained by one lady executive. I was astonished when she informed me that the product will be delivered on the next day i.e. 03 Aug 2010 (a day later of my order). I explained the fact and purpose of purchasing the product and about the assurances given me by the previous customer support executives. For sometimes she hold the line and finally assured me that the product will be delivered on 02 Aug 2010 by 2100hrs (9p.m.) and hurriedly dropped the line.

I waited till 2130hrs (9:30p.m.) and confirmed from the shipping address that no product has been delivered till the time. I tried to establish contact with customer support executives but I was informed that the customer support service for indiatimes shopping is available from 8a.m. to 8p.m. only.

My image towards the receiver of the gift was turned black due to the poor customer support services of Indiatimes Shopping and due to their false information provided to me. Also, delivering the product on any other day was meaningless as the purpose of sending the gift was over.

I must be compensated for the acts of Indiatimes Shopping.

I had purchased SONY W320 digital 14MP camera on 9th june 2010 from INDIATIMES SHOPPING on net worth 8000/- It worked when recd. But after 10 days the shutter of lens suddenly closed and did not open after that.
Since then i have been following up with Indiatimes. The TEKNIX merchant is putting the entire fault on us that we have spoilt the camera. And on the other hand Indiatimes keeps giving false assurances that i will get replacement of the camera. But till date they have not given, and the same camera has been sent 3 times back to me in the same damaged condition.

We as customer are being wrongly framed and we dont even know what exactly went wrong to the camera all of a sudden.

Its a huge loss of money, product and as well as time.

i have now again send the camera to delhi darya ganj indiatimes office...but nobody is giving any support or solution to this problem.

TEKNIX IS ABSOLUTELY NOT COOPERATING.

it has been very unfair and unjust deal with INDIATIMES. They are simply agreeing to what TEKNIX is saying without understanding our reasons and believing in it.

Please kindly help me resolve this problem. Since the camera has not worked even more than 10 days, i should get a replacement or refund of my money back.

Indiatimes shopping is cheat and fraud — Indiatimes eat up our money

Indiatimes shopping is run by a gang of cheats and frauds, who sucks money from innocent people. I advice to avoid these rogues.

They falsely advertise in print media and also in their website and attract the citizens. They take money and never send items. Sometimes they send non-working defective items.

Most of the time they send items of inferior quality which go out of order within one week.

Never trust such an online fraud. Never be trapped by this fraud.

I purchased a mobile phone (Micromax Q55) from Indiatimes Shopping on 06 Jul 2010 and paid for the same online. The payment was received by them and it was promised to be delivered within 7 days.

Whenever I called customer support, the person picking the phone did not help me at all. Neither I got any assurance of delivery. Please find the screenshot attached where they accepts that they are 3 days behind schedule.

Indiatimes — Non Delivery of items purchased

Shopping through indiatimes has been a very bad experience for me, I had ordered Iball UPS two time and they did not meet the SLA and cancelled the order, refund is still awatied. They are totally shameless and even the second time i ordered they assured me that it will be shipped on time and then they cancelled the order without any intimation. I think they are most unprofessional and i am not going to do any purchases again with Indiatimes.

Hi,

I have orderd a magazine subscription of Rs 1200 on May 7th 2010. And payed the full amount by using my credit card and they have NOT YET sent any information to the Merchant for my subscription (i confirmed through merchant directly) nor they have informed me anything.

I have called more than 12-13 times by now at their customer care help and enquired about my subscription, Initially they told me to wait for 45 days and then i waited to for it and its been around 60 days now, Still nothing happened. I also told them to cancel my order if not able to process and refund my money back, Customer care executives everytime telling me that it will be refunded back in 24 hours. Its been more than last 10 days that they are telling the same still not recieved the amount in my account. And also to tel you that some times when i called, if they do not know the answer they will simply cut our phone off. THAT IS REALLY STUPID behaviour it happned with me 2 times. THEY ARE PATHETIC AND DO NOT CARE FOR ANY CUSTOMERS.

I am not frusted with this Indiatimes shopping network. What kind of business they are doing?

Please help me in this regards.

Dear Mr.Rajnish,
Today is 19 of June 2010. As requested by you 2 working days are passed & I did not hear anything from you.

That particular vendor is fraud & I suggest the Indiatimes ( such a reputed online shopping site ) should not have business relationship with such kind of people. I tried to call that vendor numerous time but they never picked up the call .

Let me know if you need some more time BUT pls. do not ignore the communication .

I again reiterate that I have not even once used the product due to defect from the first day & now ( after 100 days of followup with you ) I do not want this product . I want to cancel this order . If you have any problem in this please communicate clearly so I can accordingly decide my future course of action.

(Order No.[protected] , Complaint no. 258035 , Cancellation request number - 261607)

I returned the defective product ( order no.[protected] to the vendor on 11/05/10 through TNT courier & they returned the same packet ( without even opening the pack ) on 14/05/10. There is nobody at my home so courier guy left the packet at my society gate with the security guard.

I am so frustrated with all this happenings that I have now lost the faith in your system. Tell me what should I do now.......the whole episode ( from 18/02/10 ) have only stressed me beyond my imagination. The only mistake I did was.......I ordered a product from Indiatimes site. Pls do not push me in to a corner so to force me to blow this out of proportion by showcasing the product & distributing the copy of all this communication to clue starved print & electronic media.

I again reiterate......I am not a fraud consumer & trying to cheat you by returning the product after use. Pls send your representative at my place to check the product yourself & if it is working I will accept the product & apologise you but If it is not working pls give my money back.I am sick of this replacement game. I have not used the product even once as after charging it was not turning on. It is still kept in the original packing.......then why should I accept this defective product ???? Pls put yourself in my shoe & imagine doing the this kind of followup with your regular 8 - 12 hrs office job just because you ordered a product online from a reputed well known site.

In the light of the above I request you the following..........
1) Pls respond immediately
2) Pls depute your representative to check the product & establish my genuinety
3) Discuss the matter with vendor
4) Arrange to resend it to the vendor
5) Arrange to return the amount to my account

PLS. FEEL FREE TO CALL ME ANYTIME AT MY CELL NO. [protected] IF YOU NEED ANY FURTHER CLARIFICATION IN THIS REGARD or ALTERNATIVELY PROVIDE ME THE CONTACT NUMBER OF YOUR DEPTT. HEAD SO I CAN EXPLAIN HIM IN PERSONAL.

Indiatimes - Blackberry 8110 — Non Delivery of product

I had placed an order on India times for a blackberry set 8110, with order no. as[protected]. The payment was debited from my account on Saturday 30th July '11. Still I have not received the product. Even the website is not showing any updated status on whether the product has been discpatched or by when will I get the product. I am very disappointed by the slow respose of India Times. I have even sent mail to India times for delay in delivering the product and the reply which I received was that we will revert back in another 10 days time. The complaint number is- 262388. Kindly help. regards Rajat Gupta.
Indiatimes Shopping website is highly doubtful. Its because of the high discount they're offering through other sellers. A Blackberry 8110 of Rs. 11, 000 sold at only Rs. 5000!!! Who in India ever gives 6000/- discount? And look at the warranty - they said its "6 months, Seller Warranty" means its not original company warranty at all.

And then, "Ships in 2 working days", never mentioned how many days to deliver!

Anyway, Indiatimes is a reputed website, please send them your feedback about this whole issue -
http://www.feedback.indiatimes.com/gcReport/feedback/index.jsp?CID=20
Since you purchased on 30th July 2011 and today is just 5th August 2011 means just 5 working days have elapsed (you ordered on a Sunday). Wait upto 10-12 days and then start asking them again...

Indiatimes.com — defective product & no replacement

i had purchased a drill machine from indiatimes.com, machine is defective ,so i sent it back for replacement on 29 Sep. but today it is 11 Nov. still i am waiting for my product, i called at least 10 times to customer care, but beside assurance they are doing nothing, really worst shopping experience,
they are neither sending product nor refunding money.

This is in the reference of order no. [protected]. I had placed an order for Nikon coolpix L 100 camera on 15th June through customer care, for which the payment was debited for Rs. 8951 on 16th June from my Husband's HDFC credit card. I had been told that i shall be receiving the product with in 10 days. From then i was continuously chasing helpline for an early delivery of ordered product and infact I was ready to collect it myself from the warehouse. In this entire period starting 16th June to 25th June, I have never been told that product is not available in stock and I shall be not be receiving the delivery. Everytime, i called up on helpline i was told by customer care executive, that i will receive the product in few days. Today on 25th june when i called up on helpline for status, than i have been told by Cust. care exe. Shivam about the unavailability of the product in stock.
People at helpline does not even have courtesy to proactively inform customer about the unavailability of product. Do you guys think that customer would assume that the product is out of stock in case the same is not received within committed time?

And, now when the order is getting cancelled, I am getting to know that amount of Rs. 8951 will be refunded back to my Husband's card account by July. Will you please advice that interest which is going to be charged from 16th June to the date of refund, who is going to bear that???? its me who has to take the hit of the interest or i'll be getting refund even that as well??? I hope you are not going to tell me that i have to be in touch with my bank for that, because i will not be doing it at any cost. Coz my intentions for allowing to debit the card is to make the purchase and Indiatimes is incapable of delivering the product than Indiatimes has to take the initiative or take the hit of the interest.

I really regret to say that such an unprofessional attitude was not expected from such a reputed brand indiatimes.

Re: [Order:[protected]] Item No 2 Godrej GFE 27 SMT4N Frost Free Refrigerator (Case 529044)

Godrej Refrigerator with amount 18,575/- was ordered on Oct 22nd 2012 and till now I have not recieved the shipment.

I got a call that the item is out of stock on Nov 6th so I asked for a refund therefore I bought a new refrigerator locally. Customer care has marked my order as item already shipped with 2181558-H-CR and AWB 82I/93156761 on Nov 9th later. This is a made-up fake courier service which doesnt exist. My order has been intentionally marked as shipped on November 9th when I asked for a refund. They say I had to reject the shipment to get a refund. This is November 27th and I havent recieved a shipment.

Never shop with indiatimes, they are running a scam with customers.

Thanks,

Indiatimes Shopping
Service of India times shopping is just very bad. I ordered using indiatimes twice and both times the product was not delivered till the delivery date which itself is too long as compared to others like flipkart, etc. They didn't even ship after 16 days of order/ 6 days after delivery date. I even complained about that and the product was even not shipped 6 days after the complaint. At last I had no other option but to cancel the order. Just waste of time and I had to make urgent purchase of the same product as I needed by that time, at a much higher price locally.
Non delivery/cheating: On 10 June 2013 I ordered a laptop dell vostro 2520 with Indiatimes provided id [protected]; bluedart awb no. [protected] and ensuring me delivery by 19 June. As shipment ref. not found on tracking system I complained Indiatimes, they accepted and appologised for the wrong shipment and registered a case no. 936925 on June 22. On 27 June the company confirmed me of my order returned to Indiatimes office and asked me if they would send me the order again. I strongly asked them them to send me the same product/order immediately. To my surprise on 29 June company informed me that the order is delivered to me, I complained of such cheating, negligence and disturbing response telling them again to send me back the same, my order immediately. But on 1 July morning an official called me that the product was out of stock. In case they had sent me the product through bluedart and returned the same to the sender/office after long misplacement in the courier (as indiatimes claimed), the same order should be in the indiatimes custody. There should not be any question of out of stock. Where is my order? What had they sent to me earlier exactly? As I planned my work considering the new laptop arrival, I failed my participation in two meetings; one is in Guwahati on 21-22 and second in Itanagar on 25. I need compensation towards my losses and inconvenience caused by Indiatimes due to their cheating and negligence.

I ordered for a Magic Bullet Mixie through Indiatimes online shopping facility as per order number[protected]. It was a cash on delivery arrangement. I contacted their customer service again on 07 June, 2010 and was told that action would be taken by the next day. But nothing happened. I contacted their customer service every day since then. Every time I was told that it would be replaced within next 24 hours. No action has been taken till now (24 June, 2010)
