i had place a order on indiatimes.com shopping website for a mobile on 4 November but i have not received it till now. i have sand email to them . they hade called me once after that saying the have already sand the mobile.you will get it in 48 hours. i called the blue dort.courier service. they say. they have received the parcel it is at goa but they have not delivered it. as parcel is in not proper condition or damaged.i tried calling indiatimes customer care no. but it of no use.

    We had Registered & Renewed a domain name : www.bentleydrugs.com with domains.indiatimes.com till 10th-Nov-2014. We have been using this domian name for the past several years and we had last renewed it for 5 years starting from 11-Nov-2009 till 10th nov2014.
    We just recd a plain confirmation mail from indiatimes for receipt of the payment 2770.00 agianst our renewal order no. 951883 which said that a confirmation letter follows but noting came subsequently. But our domain was up and running and we assumed that the renewal is done. Now, on 11th - Nov-2010, the domain stopped working and was showing status as expired and under 30 days redemption after which it will be put up for sale. We were astonished and tried to get in touch with Indiatimes-domains. They have only provided one tel no.[protected] which always one response that all the executives are busy- pls hold on....We have almost tried calling 50 times to the said no. for the past whole week. We have sent complaint mails to [protected]@indiatimes.co.in but no response. We tried calling one person by name Arif Jamil on his number [protected] as this no. was given in the payment confirmation receipt that we had. He picked up once and confirmed that the domain is indeed paid for by us for 5 years and that he will verify how this this has happened. He asked us to send mails to his id : arif.[protected]@indiatimes.co.in aswell as his personal gmail id. After this there has been no response. When we try calling his number, there is no response or if he picks up by chance, he just dosen't talk or acts as though he is not arif but his friend and that arif is busy and will call back,. There has been no confirmations to the mail complaints that we have sent. We feel cheated since money was taken by us and the domain was registered for only one year and now they are not responding. We did not expect this from a company of indiatimes group. The domain name is a valuable asset - similar to brand names. We wish to file a FIR since its a clear case of cheating. Please registere my complaint and kindly advice us if we can approach any other authority.

    I too have been cheated by indiatimes.co.in. I also have got no response to numerous mails, and as you say, phones are always busy.

    Are they at all affiliated with the well-known Times of India group?

    They have given an address for themselves in Gurgaon. Do you know anybody in Gurgaon who can go personally and check whether this address also is a fraud?

    What can we do to put these people out of "business" and behind bars?

        Indiatimes is cheating and fooling the general public.
        People who are using indiatimes shopping website for the bidding and purchasing the products from them, become repentant for purchasing from this cheat. They eat up the hard earned money and do not send the promised item. when I made complaint to the Indiatimes for non-receipt of the item , they do not answer to my email, because they are cheating the general public.

        I request all the people NOT TO BUY THE PRODUCTS FROM THE FRAUD INDIATIMES SHOPPING.

        Indiatimes Shopping — Fraud & Cheating

        Being an Airtel Telephone Customer I had received a Gift Certificate Voucher Number - GC[protected] for which I can redeem anything worth Rs.200/-

        On the last day of its expiry (till 11.59 PM) I was about to redeem (On 11.00 AM) but it showed that "This Certificate is expired" and was unable to redeem anything. On calling customer care they too confirmed and sayed we will be looking into the details and get back to you but they never called and the reason was "Power Failure". Can anybody tell me does any Phone or Mobile run through electricity and also in such a company there are no power back - ups ???? nor I have received any reply.

        However, everytime I called and everytime I was told that we are working. Frustated I spoke to thier head and he said that there have been other redemptions too and there was nothing sort of any type of error...and refused to accept any kind of complain and have me redeem my Gift Voucher.

        The kind of treatment & experience was very very bad.

        Is there anybody to teach them a lesson ????? The complain or reference number provided was 866878 and a mail which I had written on the 30th November'08 getting them with the problems I faced.
        indiatimes shopping is only making fools to people. They never deliver the products on time.. even they don't have a good customer care. I know they are just survived that times group (their father) is with them.

        ITS A REQUEST THAT NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM.

My order was returned due to defective product on 14/4/2010.Your customer service representative said that i will receive the product within 10 days. but its being more than 30 days I havent got my product. I have complained for more than 3 times but no steps have been taken so far. The customer service representatives only tell us to wait and wait... How long should I have to?? When will this wait be over? I have relied on you. but got only disappointment.. have send sms near about 26 times.. but no responses.. please give me my product or return my money back... am waiting for your response.

              I purchased 33 Sets +12 Gold Plated Bangles+ 4 1gm Kadas+12 Designer Bangles+4 Pearl Bangles+2 Jodha Akbar Style Kadas+10 Assorted Earrings+1 Jewel Watch

              After opening the box found all wrong material. There were only nylon beades necklaces of young 11/12 year old child , with matching bangles., which will not fit to any adult female.
              Today returned to them tro TNT courier.
              Courier person told us there are more than 50 % rejections every day. he was holding simillar returned 6 parcels.
              Hope it get good quality material in return.

                  This is with reference to my mobile shopping with indiatimes online shopping. When I ordered the product on the phone, I have promised for a Rs.250 gift voucher which I did not receive. I have specifically asked the executive on the phone that if this mobile contains Yahoo massenger and Facebook or not. He has CONFIRMED that yes this products contains Yahoo massenger and Facebook (also the same was written in Times of India news paper) but this product does not contains these 2 applications. My main purpose for this order was access to Yahoo massenger and Facebook thru mobile else I already have a good touch screen dual SIM mobile. Also the paper says that the mobile has a 2inch screen which is also wrong. Its around 1.4 or 1.5 inch.
                  Below mail was again sent after 25 days when no reply was recd.
                  PLEASE CANCEL MY ORDER FOR Business Series Mobile With QWERTY Keypad and Dual Battery, ORDER NUMBER[protected] AND SUB ORDER NUMBER 3349656.                       Secondly, the question of REPAIR does not arise ! This phone is a used refurbished unlocked phone
                      and I do not want it, I do not know how to make it more clear.

                      Yesterday I got a call from Sudhir Raj[protected] and he communicated that this phone would
                      be replaced with a brand new one since that is what I thought I was buying when I got this used
                      phone delivered.

                      I made it very clear to him that only the original Blackberry, sealed and with hologram, the way it

                          please i booked one webcam from Indiatimes Shopping against order #[protected] dtd 21/09/2010.

                          but till date and time the delivery of the purchased webcam has not been done.

                          i have contacted there customer care but not getting proper reply and i am feeling like cheated & harrased.
                          as they are telling me that now as i have complained for NON DELIVERY so they have taken my complain and now it will take another 7 working days to get it delivered.

                          this is not right as i think by giving lower rates on net and not complying with there commitments & useage of customer money which they take thru CC or debit cards and then delay & harras customer.

                          i want you to take serious note of this complain and help me in getting the order or make sure that they return my money which they have already used for 7 days.

                            I have booked one sewing machine through India times shopping ( online shopping) vide order no.[protected],sub order no.3190554 and the amount was paid in advance through my debit card.The item was supplied.On opening the parcel it was found that the machine was not working and it was complained to customer care.I was advised to send it to the supplier "Ojjas Enterprises,Unit no63 New Satgurunanak industrial estate,Goregoan,Mumbai-63,accordingly it was sent to the supplier through TNT courier vide AWB.No DO.[protected] WW dated 30-7-10 and it was received by the supplier.
                            I received a small parcel on 6-8-10 from the supplier containing three small thread reels.It was reported to customer care India times shopping.
                            The supplier deceived me by sending three thread reels instead of sewing machine.The matter was reported to India times shopping several times but no action has been taken to return the sewing machine from the supplier.
                            This is a fair example how the business people deceive gullble customers by online shopping.The cost of the machine is not much (Rs.1000/-)

                                Never trust Indiatimes shopping. They are a gang of cheats.My order No. was[protected] for Sigmatel S-400 mobile handset. But Indiatimes shopping send me a different model which was defective and dead handset.Indiatimes eat up my money. I send the handset 4 times to the seller, but each time the seller returned back the parcel box without opening it. The same seller "Teknix" takes another name "Circonia" to cheat people. I complained 50 times to Indiatimes but to no avail. Indiatimes shopping is run by a gang of cheats and frauds, who suck money from innocent people. I advice to avoid these rogues. They falsely advertise in print media and also in their website and attract the citizens. They take money and never send items. Sometimes they send non-working defective items. Most of the time they send items of inferior quality which go out of order within one week. Never trust such an online fraud. Never be trapped by this cheat.

                                This is very true. India times are selling sub-standard products (non-working products) and when we return these for replacement, the internal back end vendor returns the same part without bothering to resolve customer issues.
                                This happens irrespective of the number of times you send the faulty product.
                                The other fraud that Indiatimes are running is selling the products with a higher price than these are available in the market. They do this for selected products which are not found easily. So the buyer has to order them from Indiatimes online shopping.
                                Lastly, all products are sub-standard and even worse than the Chinese products. So if you happen to see these before buying, you would never even buy it for 25 % of the quoted price. Thats why they sell these products online and take the money before sending the product.
                                If they really believed in customer service, they should follow cash on delivery like other online sellers.

                                    While I was (and am until 12.8.10 at Appt. No.806, Sindhu Amazon, 79/8, Bellandur, Outer Ring Road, Bangalore-560103, Tel:[protected]) on a short visit to my son's place,in response to an ad (indiatimesshoppiong/ro) in my favorite daily, I placed an order (No.[protected]/Suborder No.3324988) for an imported car stereo and paid for the same by credit card on 26.8.10.The parcel was received by me on 30.8.10 untampered MINUS the free gift coupon for Rs.250 which was to be received by me as an incentive for credit card transaction and which found mention in the contents of the pacel wrapper as well as in the email sent to me on 30.8.10 confirming the shipping of the order. On noticing the faux pas, I tried to lodge a complaint using the reply menu of the email sent by the company and at the customer service ID as suggested in the email several times; but received failure notices everytime. On another attempt, I was able to forward the undelivered email to the customer service ID for which no acknowledgemet has been received nor the gift coupon so far.
                                    As regards the quality of the product, it is no exaggeration to say that even the ordinary toys purchased from roadside vendors sport a much better get-up. I have had the experience of ordering books from the same website for which I have no regrets. But it is utter foolishness to order gadgets from this outfit under readers' offer entailing total loss of money and much heart burn.

                                    I ORDERED A CAR STERIO UNIT WITH SPEAKERS FROM INDIA TIMES SHOPPING BASED ON THE ADVERTISMENT IN TIMES OF INDIA. WHEN PLACING THE ORDER ON PHONE I WAS TOLD THAT THE UNIT IS SUITABLE FOR FITMENT ON ALL CARS.
                                    CAR STERIO UNIT DELIVERED TO ME IS NOT SUITABLE FOR FITMENT IN MY CAR SANTRO ZING.CLAMPS HOLDING THE UNIT PROTRUDE OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED LOCATION FOR STERIO ON DASHBOARD MAKING THE WHOLE DASHBOARD LOOK UGLY. EVEN THE SPEAKERS ARE NOT SUITABLE FOR FITMENT IN THE DESIGNATED PLACE FOR SPEAKERS BELOW DASHBOARD. THIS IS CONTRARY TO THE INFORMATION GIVEN BY YR CALL CENTRE PRIOR TO MY PLACING THE ORDER

                                      I ordered one sewing madchine and coffee blender vide my order no[protected] and received both items.It was found that the sewing machine was not working and reported to cusomer care,who adviced to send back the machine to the supplier. It was sent to the supplier throgh the TNT courier meas adviced by the customer care.In spite of repeated emails to the customer care the sewing machine has not been retuned to me till date.The sewing machine has got 6 months warranty.Instead of solving my problem the indiatimes shopping group is not able to solve my problem,instead they are draging the problem.Already more than one month time lapsed in solving the problem.

                                        We had ordered two rakhis to be gifted to a relative at Bhopal through Indiatimes Shopping on 19 Aug 2010. The festval was on 24 Aug 2010. The delivery was promised within three days. The order numbers were[protected] and[protected]. Till date the items have not reached the destination. The website also proclaims on the site that the orders have been despatched awaiting confirmation.
                                        A very sorry state of affairs and loss of faith in the portal which has a good reputation.
