I was contacted from Bag It Today(Sunil) saying that I had own 2 lacs worth gold box. To claim the gold box he asked me to purchase MTV kit and it was cost 29992.00 Rs. I initially denied to purchase and after thinking about "India Today" brand name, I accepted to pay the amount. After I have paid that amount, again he asked to pay two 598 Rs for handling and courier charges. I started souting at him and asked why are asking money again. He said, this will be final amount sir. You dont have to pay any other amount. Again, I have paid that amount. After 2 hrs, again somebody called and asked for 14,998 Rs. I asked him to conference Sunil. Sunil said, it is for another 1 lac work gold box. I asked him clearly that what would happen if I will not pay this amount. He said, you will still claim the things for the amount which you already paid and the gold box. So, I had told that I am fine with it, I am not interested to go further and he disconnected the call. In the evening, another guy(Vinod) called from dispatch department and asked 14998.00 Rs. I had explained everything and told him that I am not going to pay money. Again, he conferenced Sunil, he said that you will not be able to claim gold box unless you pay this 14998.00. I have paid that too. The second day another personal called and asked for 20,000 Rs. Now, I have realized, the "India Today" is biggest cheater and asked him to cancel my all orders. Do you think, he still be line? Yes, he disconnected the call. I dont know how to claim the amount. Please let me know if any one had claimed the money and let me know how to claim it. Its all because the trust I had with India Today magazine. Is that bag it today part of India Today?
I would like to inorm you that I booked your offer 7 days / 8 Night Package Rs. 7000/- . My order no. is 170051. before booking I contact in Delhi office Mr. Raj, he confirm me that if you take Tour offer you must get free gift labtop include this offer, but I surprised yesterday i received only letter in my address th : Speed Post Docket No. ED[protected]IN Dt. 24.06.11. gift is not send at your end, I don't Know who is Mr. Raj, you are given false commitment reguarly like our Castomer after future we are not belive in your company. I forward our complain th : Media & Consumer forum after 7 Days.

    My father placed an online order for a product from Indiatodaybook club.com and made the online payment of Rs. 599/-. However, the wrong product was delivered to him. On checking with them, he was asked to send the wrong product back to them on which he spent additional Rs. 125/-

    They did not send the originally ordered product thoght did confirm receipt of teh wrong product back to them.
    Now it has been over 6 months since he has been following up with them and they have neither refunded the money i.e Rs. 724/- nor sent the right product.

    Every time we write to their reponse/ customer service team, they send us an apology mail stating that the money will soon be credited to my father's account. But there has been no action on the same.

    Reequest you to assist as this was totally not expected rom a reputed group like India today.

    i)Received Item No.P1327 (Philips Micro Theatre)& K0443(Kodac C-180) on 08.07.2010, in lieu of Advance payment for Rs.23698( vide Invoice No. ORA[protected] dated 29.06.2010.Unique No.[protected]A[protected] for claiming free gifts as and diamond voucher for Rs.70, 000/- ( No.IB[protected]) against my unique No.as quoted in the subject matter.About 2 months has already been passed till today on 01.09.2010.But Vouchers which was approved on 19.08.2010 not received in my email as spoken with your executive Miss Hina on11.08.2010, 20.08.2010, 24.08.2010, 25.08.2010;Mr Vikram on 23.08.2010, Balkrishna Rao on18.08.2010 and 01.09.2010;Deepak on 27.08.2010 and 31.08.2010;Prashant on 01.09.2010.
    ii)Vide order No.[protected], booked 22"Samsung LCD Colour TV, by paying Rs.17699/-through HDFC Bank Credit Card, To cancel the order due to domestic reasons beyond control, and it was requested to credit Rs.17699/-against HDFC Credit Card Account immediately.The Order was cancelled on 23.07.2010 But till date Rs.17699 not credited in my account.and every time above executive give misleading information.
    iii)Holiday package for Rs.7000/-order No.[protected] cancelled due to domestic reasons, cancellation order No.594394, but till date Rs.7000/-not credited in my HDFC Credit Card account.executive when contacted give misleading information.
    All the above cases are worst examples of frauds commited by executives of India today Group.
    Once again I the undernamed request for immediate action from your end please to avoid further legal action.

        I thought this India Today group a very big and much reputed group, but ended up as a biggest cheat and online scam group.

        On 29/07/2010 i ordered (Order No. =[protected] & [protected] in bag it today for Samsung LCD & MTV Product. For the same amount Rs. 17,699.00 & Rs. 7,498.00 taken from my credit card. But still they did not process my order. And when ever i call they say it will be processed in one week. I wonder in India Today how many days equal to one week.

        Before two week they informed my Samsung LCD order is processed and it is despatched thru Blue Dart via Way Bill No. [protected]. But when i enquired in blue dart website & after calling to Blue dart i came to know it is sent from New Delhi to Bangalore. But i'm in Chennai. After knowing it is shipped to Bangalore i called to Bag it today New delhi and informed, they said it is wrongly sent to Bangalore and it will be diverted to Chennai.

        Now in Blue dart they say it is delivered and their website also says so. the details below:

          I was called from Bag it today and pitched about the Gold box gift wrth Rs 1,10,000/-. I was promised and with 25 mints of persuasion i was convinced from the callers that i do stand a chance though i was still skeptical. I was suppose to receive 4 reebok wathces worth rs 10,000/- and Rs 1,00,000/- jewelry vouchers emailed to me on this email address.

          I took the Samasumg digi camera es25 and swiped my card twice for camera and other Rs 1699 shipment charges, i did receive the camera and 4 reebok watches and one numero uno glares.

          However, ive been relentlessly calliing bag it today to get the update on the vouchers and ive been informed 72hrs evertime by each cust care exec and i called 4 times for the same. The 5th time i was informed to wait for 7 days because the vouchers are out of stock. Let alone the information but the way the execs talk to you over the phone is appalling. I am highly disappointed in bag it today and ive lost my patience feeling cheated and wrongly treated by the cust care. The product was sold by making false promises.

          Today i also get a call from india today that i have won a Rs 100k to k110k and he was trying to get some transaction and handing charges. immediately i ask to call me back after some time and search on internet about the gold box...after some time again call came and i told them "bluddy chitter...disconnect the call immediately.

          I have been called upon from[protected] promising cash of rs. 55000/- if i book an order atleast worth 7000/- approx. is it possible to offer such schemes? not sems to be feasible!! rather they want the money by swapping credit card in mobile?
          is it reliable? i don't know. pl. clarify.

            I bought a watch from bagittoday online and the below attached is the screen shot for the same which i got from the site.

            But when i called up their customer care i am told he does not have any details of the transaction and i need to call up again on monday.

            As per VIKRAM, who answered the call, he is not having any details of the Online transaction made in their site nor on the registration i have made.

            The site shows that they have received the payment but he is not even ready to acknowledge the same.

            He was not ready to escalate the call nor ready to give details of the escalation matrix.He started shouting and was parroting only one thing call on monday.

            This whole set up look like a scam and does not seem to be genuine.

              I have ordered a product Samsung 3G star touchscreen high end version phone in OCT 2008 over phone through my Credit card.As per the offer they are suppose to send me by November 2nd week 2008 and along with that 2days 3 nights holiday voucher with round trip air tickets for a couple and for 2 children below 5 yrs,10000 work nakshatra diamond jewellery voucher,extension of india today book club membership for free,United colors of Benetton watch worth 2600Rs etc.,has been offered.But to my surprise,the product recieved is basic samsung star phone by me is tampered and received in dec 2008 with through sealed blue dart courier where the product inside is with broken seal and no sealer covered products inside the box.I made numerous complaints but of no use.I even sent 2 written complaints to their head office with AD speedpost.I lodged complaint at National consumer forum complaint no:210140.I feel India todaybook club is playing with their members.I was very disappointed and created a lot of mental trauma.
              Kindly help in getting justice.

              India Today Book Club — No Product Delivered

              I have placed an order for a REEBOK ROLLER COASTER SHOE (Size 10) on 17th Nov 2009.
              And also I have given payment of Rs 1398 /- through my credit card. This amount has debited from my account also.

              My Booking ID is[protected] and Membership ID is ITBC09156126.

              Now it almost 3 months over. I DID NOT GET THE PRODUCT YET...

              Several times I have called to their customer care office number. They are always telling that we will re-dispatch your product soon. And also I have sent many more emails. They are also telling the same. By giving money, why should I need to hear their fake apology?

              For last 3 months ITBC have been following the same cheating. How long a person can wait for a product?

              Why ITBC cheating its customers. I would like to strongly recommend that services ITBC should ban by Indian Government.

              ITBC should justify my issue.

                I received a phone call on09.08.2010 around 11 AM on my BSNL land line number[protected] from one Mr. Aditya of India Today Book club office. He informed me that I was selected for a prize of jewllery worth Rs.50,000 and I had to pay Rs.598 for processing it through my credit card. He asked for Credit card details including the 3-digit code number on the reverse. Though not interested, I was made to give my ICICI card number ( [protected]) which he fed to the answering machine of the bank. It announced the amount Rs. 598 was charged to my card.
                This was followed by a series of calls from some girls speaking in Hindi and claiming to be from India Today who started annnouncing a few more gifts like camp cords, dimond jellery worth Rs.120000, mobiles etc etc some of whch were charged to my credit card using the card number. I came to know an amount of Rs.58,800.20 was charged by this fraud company of your esteemed Group. They siad that the gifts will be delivered in a week. Finally one person, Anupam, who said that he was also from India Today, Delhi offered a Holiday package which I refused to accept. Then he said that I would forego all the other gifts if I did not accept the Holiday offer. I said I was ready to forego.
                I suspected some fraud in this and immedaitely sent an e-mail to Customer care Dept. of ICICI Bank.
                There was call again today and on insisting the girl on line gave the phone num ber of bagittoday. I contatcted bagittoday but they are not cooperative - they want me to furnish billing details which I do not know.
                I found from website that I am not the only victim and thre are many more cheated by this company.
                I am 63 years old person who had undergone angioplasty recently and recovering from heart related problems . I request you to please save me from becoming a prey to this credit card fraud of your group company. .
                I am also approaching Cyber Crime Police and also consumer forum based on the evidence I have about the involvement of your Group company.

                same thing is happened with me.i was told that i hv won of worth rupees 110000.00 gift vouchers.i hv purchased two more things they are on 4th august..n 25 th n 26 th aug 2010 total 5698+598+8998+598+2000 and for all of these I hv got only 4 reebok watches n the voucher (the gifts) but not the original products..whats the wrong with ur company.?india today is on one side a promising news line and bag it today is on the other hand a big fraud site .is not it?i need my funds immediately..

                This is a complete fraud organization. un professional. All you can expect from them is send you spam e-mails, the moment you click on an e-mail and show interest they would start calling you and push you to make a online card payment ( by throwing some extra benefits of a free gift, so that they get the money) and once this is done you are in the trap. you shall never receive the order. Reasons like " order is not placed due to technical problems" " server is down" " we apologize" We will right now place the order and it will be punched in 2 days and bull ***t like that. The payment is done but they cant locate the payment and would ask you for a payment id, even if you provide that alll you can accept is Apologies. I would suggest to people that if you really want to buy something take the effort and but it from a shope but dont fall prey to this website. and in case you want to buy a gift for someone, be readdy for a complete disaster to happen. I have yet not recieved the order but I am sure when I do ( if I do ) it wount be the perfect thing what i actually ordered. So guys understand that you are educated people and dont fall prey to the amazing offers they throw. You wont get it.

                  This fraudster company BagitToday.com has not delivered my ordered items - Reebok googles and Bag. They keep sending a standard reply that "your order is under process, please wait for some more days". They don't even feel ashamed of sending me the same reply for atleast 15 times in last 6 months!

                  Please do not deal with this company. They are running a money making racket and duping innocent people like us!
                  I wonder how many months they will take for refunding my money...What about interest, damages and mental agony charges?

                  I have called twice and each time they mentioned that I will get a call back with details. When I called today, Sangeetha (agent) told me that my payment is processed and received but order is punched into the system !!! She asked me to wait for 10-15 days more for the order to be delivered.

                  I think this is a BIG CHEATING MAFIA in the name of INDIA TODAY (I had a very esteemed view of IT) but now it is changed.I can see many customers like me getting cheated on this Website.

                    I ordered Britannica Word Search CD ROM; Women Who changed the world CD ROM & World leaders.There was free Trolley Bag & Holiday package along with this. On 12th Dec'09 I received those 3 CD ROM vide Membership No. IT0C09181247; Invoice No. ORA[protected] & Order No. OGA[protected] Dtd. 10.12.09(unique number[protected]A[protected]; Till date I am waiting for the Trolley Bag. I talk every(Tel No.[protected] month for the Trolley bag and their answer is that the bag is not in stock.                       With reference to the above cited subject, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that although many calls were made and complaints registered, nothing has been done by ITBC to either reimburse the amount or deliver the ordered items.

                      In this regard, I would like to make it known that I was a member of ITBC under the name Mr. K.Vaiphei with membership number ITBC01151395. To purchase items like KIDBIKE and HUGGABLE BEAR, two drafts for Rs.2688 & Rs.2327 drawn on SBI/Bhalukpong were sent on 13/11/07 and 27/11/07 respectively.

                      My wife was diagnosed with cancer. She was undergoing treatment. I had to be with her. We frequently had to leave our four daughters, including our two year old daughter, in the care of our friends. Knowing that they were feeling insecure, I had decided to buy the toys for my youngest daughter who was suffering the most.

                      Now, three years later, my wife is no more, and we have to relocate to our home state (earlier we were in Arunachal Pradesh). And still, ITBC is not doing anything about the ordered items.

                      Please help us to recover either the money or the ordered goods.

                      On 18th September,2009 there was an addvertisement in a local news paper of City on which it was promoted from said company that if ordered in two days i shall be eligible for 21 CD's and a Puja Thali of Art D Inox in addition to this I was promised holiday for three nights for two persons through their partner, Premier Sales Promotions Pvt. Ltd. (Big City promotions). On the same I ordered at Customer Care no.[protected] and i made payment through my Credit Card. I was promised that I shall be delivered goods with in 28 working days but till date I have not received any goods, inspite of contacting at Customer Care they gave us date mentioning that our systems are down please contact after two days and so on.My transaction confirmation no. He asked me to submit a money amount rs.21000 to A ONE child foundation trust, (on name of Chairman Jyoti Negi, and give me a Kotak mahindra Bank A/c. no.[protected] on 19.10.2010 and same day deposit me cash to bank from pune, kotak mahindra bank-bhandarkar branch- and he say give u a certificate of for income tax in 80 D for tax rebate,
                      give me Aramex track no.[protected], and in 12 days collect ur lucky drawn gift to ur address but last 45 days going not coming any gift or parcel from aramex and no track this no. in aramex curroir.
                      I had to believe him as he was capable to provide all the data the I gave to India Today group.
                      I transmitted the cash of 21K.
                      He gave me the below Aramex tracking number which is not updated from last 45 days. Also the phone number he was calling is not receiving now.
                      This is a lession and really allowing me constantly try to get rid of India today group as they do not have Data security and integrity.

                        I placed an order for a watch its already around more then 10 months.

                        they every time give me written and verbal assurance, but i not able to believe the the people or the renowned company of india is involved in such kind of activity.

                        are their upper level directors known about this thing?

                        not a single responsible person over their to listen my mails and phone calls that i made them.

                          Bagittoday.com — Non-receipt of Free Gift

                          I had placed order for reebok shoes on 20.02.2010 against mode of payment as Cash on delivery as the credit card option was not functioning on your website. Subsequently i got a call from your customer service executive (Telephone no used was +[protected] who told me to do the payment on the Phone line using my Credit card as the COD would take lot of time (more than 4 weeks) as the delivery will happen through VPP service. Hence i did the payment using my credit card on the phone line when your customer service executive called up regarding the order. The transaction id given to me was [protected]. He also confirmed that the earlier order will be cancelled and only the current order would be processed.
                          I received the parcel without the free gift which was promised for the first time shoppers on the site.
                          On raising complaint, I got all the irrelevant replies from different persons from the customer care unit of the company. The free gift is yet to arrive. I have lost my patience and left it there.

                          It is unfortunate that you have had a bad experience with bagittoday.com, that too on your first purchase order itself. However, as a fellow consumer I would just like to say that don’t let this one-off incident influence you negatively regarding this site. I have used their services quite a few times and have till now received all my orders without any difficulty.
                          I too had faced a similar issue with one of my orders with bagittoday.com. However, after communicating my complaint, the problem was rectified. So, will suggest you to complain through proper channels. My experiences with bagittoday.com have always been good and I’m sure yours will be too in the future.

                          india today (bag it today) — Non receipt of free gifts

                          I received a brochure through Book Post from India Today Group during the month of March 2011 in which it was mentioned that this is yours confirmation for the final stage of our Rs. 1 crore sweepstakes. It was also mentioned that you pay RS. 2499 and get a completae guide to UNESCO World heritage sites Book and special free gifts Reebock Shoes andNumero Uno Watch. I sent a cheque amounting to Rs. 2499 in favour of India Today Group on dated[protected]
                          . The said cheque has been cashed v from my account on dated[protected], but unfortunately I have neither recieved Book nor free gifts.

                            though i received the letter of customer of distinction i have yet to receieve the free gifts. my membership no. is ITBCO8491452 .

                            I applied for indiatoday English subscription in the month of december2008. i was getting the copies from jan2009.but i was supposed to receive free gift of adidas bag and encyclopidia cds within 8 weeks.but till today[protected],i did not receive any.i am having my mail correspondence with them.they say that due to out of stock ,they shall send me in 4-5 weeks.but again if i ask them after some months still the answer is same.but strangly i receive some mails from their group that u buy this and u will be getting encyclopidia cds and adidas bag.so the reason that they are out of stock is false.i never expected this from a leading publishing group to cheat and mislead a customer for a gift which is small compared with to their prestige.

                              I have ordered an item at bagittoday.com on[protected]. Today's date is[protected] I have not received the item yet. I had made full payment.

                              I was on leave on one day, and the courier company tried to contact me and as i was unavailable (for one day) they returned the courier. Now till date i do not know the status of the item. Whenever i enquire at bagittoday, they say the courier is 'on transit'. The response that i always get is ''apologize for the incovenience.... request you to wait for few days..... we have escalated the matter...." which seems like some standard template.

                              I regularly purchase from several indian sites and have not faced any such difficulty. Bagittoday does not inform the customer about the delivery date or courier reference number.

They suppose to send with in 3 - 4 weeks but they sent only after 6 weeks and they have not sent free gift of Reebok sunglass, they sent reebok watch only. Regarding this i tried them many time over phone but they are not responding. I sent e mail then one mr.kusum sent reply and assured that it will take few days to solve this problem but till date i am not yet received the sun glasses.                                 I had ordered Reebok Kit vide advertisement which had appeared in the DNA After hours ( page 5 ) on
                                the 26th of AUGUST 2010, advertised by bagittoday.com , posted by THE INDIA TODAY GROUP. I had
                                made the payment thru my ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD NO: [protected] at precisely 7.58am on[protected].for an amount of Rs 3298/- which included the VPP charges of Rs 299/- for delivery.
                                I was told that as i was the first customer to have booked the kit , i was the winner of Special Gifts,( Gold & Diamond jewelery worth Rs two lakhs , and other assorted gifts like watches,tee shirts, shoes,books,track suits,etc) for which I was asked to pay Rs 14996/- towards taxation charges for gold & diamond jewelery, and Rs 598/- + Rs 598/- ( twice ) towards delivery charges for the above goods.
                                All the above payments were made by through same ICICI BANK CREDIT CARD mentioned above. All the transactions were made on the same day and confirmed by bagittoday.com with respective Transaction IDS for each of the four payments. I was assured that the kit and other special gifts would be delivered within 15 to 20 days.Till today except for 4 reebok wrist watches which i recieved on[protected]
                                from The LIVING MEDIA INDIA LTD which is part of the free gifts, i have still not recieved my original order of Reebok Kit and other special gifts for which i have also paid taxes.                                   Dear Sir,
                                  I would like to bring your notice that M/S Living Media( Bag It Today ) cheated me. They have offered me prize in the form of gold box as they told that I am one of their privileged customer on June 12, 2010
                                  According to Bag It Today, I purchased One handicam& bed sheet[protected],[protected]&[protected] total worth of 20,685.00 including packing and forwarding charges of gold box. I have been offered by one of their senior executive that the prizes of one cutlery set,watches,holiday voucher & cash bach of Rs. Three lakhs and the same will get with in 6 days.
                                  Please note, I have not yet received the handicam till date the product which I have purchased
                                  On June 19,2010 again I received a call from Bag It Today, presented me gold box again. I purchased LCD TV as they informed that the item which was listed item against my name. This time the Bag It Today offered me gold worth of two lakhs and other price which was not mentioned
                                  On next day, June 20, 2010 again called by their Sr.executive, according to him the transaction which I made last day was not completed and I have to purchase one more product, that is mobile hand set. Total I spend Rs 39589.00 and the booking ids are[protected],[protected]&[protected].
                                  On June 24,2010 I have received a call from Bag It Today and informed that the the above said order all are pending for confirmation, criteria is purchase the product one digital photo frame worth Rs 7797.00 and promised to get Rs one lakh cash price. Booking Ids are[protected]&[protected]
                                  On June 30,2010 I have received a call from one of their executive and informed me that all my prices will send to me soon if I purchase further .According to him I purchased a mobile handset worth Rs 13998.00, Booking ID[protected]
                                  On July 10,2010 I have been told that If I am not purchasing again I will not get any price offered me earlier and also he told that after completion of transaction immediately somebody from their senior level will inform me immediately about the prices which I have been offered through e mail and also I will receive an offer of gold worth Rs. One lakh.I Spend 14694.00 and booking Ids are[protected],[protected]
                                  Still I have not received any proper answer from Bag It Today neither contacting their customer service representative or sending so many mails to them on [protected]@bagittoday.com,[protected]@bagittoday.com&[protected]@bagittoday...
                                  Look forward to receive a positive response from your end and a solution of this problem.

                                    Dear Forum,
                                    I had ordered for one UCB watch + One UCB sunglasses to Indiatodaybookclub (ITBC) over net on 16th June'2009. After making the payment of Rs 1248/- thru HDFC credit card, the response from ITBC portal was that the transaction had been unsuccessful hence they did not send the items. Later on, I came to know from my credit card statement (further confirmation from the HDFC bank) that the said amount has already been paid to ITBC. Since then, I have been following up with the company but there has been no positive response till date even after more than a year.
                                    I had already made complaint in this forum few months back but still there has been no positive reply from ITBC team even after that. The details of my transcation to ITBC is as follows:

                                    Order ID : MITBC-WEB[protected]

                                    membership no: ITBC0956160
                                    The details from HDFC bank on above is as follows:

                                    Auth Code : 031792

                                    Amount : Rs.1248.00

                                    Transaction Date : June 16, 2009

                                    India Today Book Club — India Today Book Club - No Refund of Unsuccessful Order

                                    Hello,

                                    I got an email for offer SWATCH for Rs. 2150

                                    I tried to make it online first, But after providing payment details, I got message that server is down, but my credit card has been charged, After that one representative called me from India Today and confirmed that payment will be refunded as that order was unsuccessfull. And to complete that purchase I need to provide credit card details again on IVR system on same call itself. So I did that.

                                    Now in my credit card bills I do see this two times charges 2150/- .

                                    I have communicating them with more a month, they promised many times that it will refunded in next 3 days. But still no refunds.

                                    and even now they are not replying my emails .

                                    What should I do now to get my money back ?

                                    India Today Book Club (ITBC) — Money debited from credit card and no refund is being provided by ITBC

                                    We placed an order on 10 Dec 2008 with the India today book club (ITBC) call center through one of their adverts in Mail Today. ITBC took the credit card number while they took the order - promising speedy delivery of the parcel. Money was debited from our credit card the very next day. Inspite of ardent follow-ups ever since they failed to deliver the order. It took them 3 months to agree that it was ITBC who had debited the money from the credit card coz their name showed on the credit card statement.The order was then cancelled by us and we asked for the money to be refunded in Mar 2009. Constant calls to their call center almost every week and continous mail exchanges with them (Jitendra Kumar Thakur and his colleague Justin Fernandes;Designation - Call Center Shift incharges) ever since have been FUTILE.I have never ever come across such a worthless organisation - My first and only experience with them!! They say, they have not been able to generate a reference number against my refund request for the last 6 months which is why the money has not been refunded. I am given false promises of 15 days of processing time every time i call them. Getting through to any other senior in the organisation seems impossible as they don't forward calls to them and in effect the senior management is completely shielded from the consumer.So God only knows what transpires in an organisation like India today Book Club.All i can say is that i'am doing the best possible follow-ups that one could perhaps do however the organisation that i am against is the most pathetic, inefficient and unprofessional that i've ever come across.They've really crossed the limits!!

                                      My Subscription Number is ITE1889036 (one year subscription for India today-english magazine).

                                      Despite so many complaints i either dont receive my issues on time or else i dont receive them at all. Every week i have to call them up to remind, that i have not reeceived my issue and then they send me next week.

                                      i am seriously upset with this weekly routine of calling them up. Could you please help me with this matter and get my refund processed. Nobody is taking any responsibilty at India Today and every time they claim that such delays wont happen in future but it is the same story again and again.

                                      if you need any further information from my end then please do let me know.
                                      my membership no. is 04ITH144580 (one year subsciption of India today hindi magazine).
                                      I am not receiving magazine and received few but that also not in time.
                                      i am not at all satisfied by your service. kindly look after the matter or else i will have to think about your service while new subscription.

                                        As per below communication I had spoken to your customer care dept. today, which they were told me the good has been dispatched, and when you receive the same pls refuse to accept the same and after that today I got a call from some body who came to deliver the product. No body was available in my home and he forcibly delivered the Consignment No : [protected] (indicating LCD TV) to my neighbor. The consignment is lying at there place only in intact position, and hence your urgent action is needed in this regard. I am bit surprised with your cheating methods that inspite of my cancellation email sent on 21st July 2010, you had dispatched the same consignment on 24th July 2010.

                                        An urgent action is required from your side in terms of refund of .Booking Order No.[protected] &[protected] and refund the respective payment of Rs. 17699/- & Rs. 1196/- (Both the transaction done on 16th July 2010 from my HDFC Card No. 5176 xxxx xxxx 6804.

                                        This is to bring in your notice that on 16th July, 2010 I received call from your office that I had been selected as lucky customer for assured prize i.e Gold Box of Rs. 1.10 lacs if you purchase Samsung LCD or Samsung Camcorder. The assured prize will be either cash or Gold. If I will win cash it will be send to your address by cheque or if you win Gold you can buy it from our outlet which we will provide without any terms and conditions.

                                        After placing the order No.[protected]Samsung LCD) and Gold Box[protected] he told me I had won Gold worth Rs. 2.40 lacs and for this your criteria of purchase has been increased,, which I declined instantly. After that he told me that you had won Rs. 1.20 lacs of gold which you can purchase from any of the outlets without any terms and conditions.

                                        On 17th July 2010 I called you customer care and came to know your order status is not available, while I got the info that Gold Box is discount Vouchers of Rs. 5000/- each.

                                        Today on 21st July 2010 I had called again your Customer care and this has been confirmed that these are Discount Vouchers of Rs. 5000/- each from Surat Diamond and Rs. 5000/- from Rebook Watches Vouchers.

                                        Hence pls cancel My Booking Order No.[protected] &[protected] and refund the respective payment of Rs. 17699/- & Rs. 1196/- asap.

                                        I too was told accordingly on 19th July 2010 from Phone Number[protected] under an understanding that details will be e-mailed by 21st. But since then I am being told that their Server is having problem. I have transferred Rs. 52, 000.00 thru Debit Card.

                                        Persons who talked to me are Ms. Shruti; Mr. Pranab Sabbarwal; Shri Prashant Paliwal & Mr. Anuj.

                                        Police is also not helping me locate them. I have full recording of all conversations.
                                        I also received the same call today 3rd August 2010 from Amit Raghav, Ph. No.[protected]. I would like to thanks you for posting this complain. He said that I won 55000 rs and I need to purchase their products for generating customer id. After reading this complain I told them to provide the proof and the customer care number of Bag it today and India Today where I may know the detail of winners. they disconnected the call and after that they did not called me again. But these guy need to be punished because they are trying to cheap people.

                                        I have a doubt on the genuineness of the Originality of the items that are sent across to us.
                                        How can BAG IT TODAY assure us that the item is ORIGINAL & GENUINE?
                                        Do you have any system, in which if we do not like the quality or look of the item that we have order, we can simply NOT accept is and not take delivery of the same? If yes, then what happens in case of Credit Card transactions? would it take forever for us to receive the refund??
