Pursuant to the termination of the said MOU, IHO members shall not be able to renew the add-on benefit of Group Health Insurance Policy of NIC, through IHO.
For the benefits of our members (IHO members), and to give the continuity benefit with the new terms & conditions, if you wish to migrate your Group Health Insurance Policy to an Individual / Family Floater Health Insurance Policy, you may do so by contacting the concerned official of the insurer i.e. National Insurance Company Ltd. at:

It is important to note that IHO is not an insurance company & that the insurance product is provided directly by National Insurance Company. The insurance was being offered by IHO only as an add-on benefit to its members.

Updated by subratman you have already sent me this lines, Pooja.[protected]@nic.co.in is not agreeing to continue the existing plan moreover asking for another 4 years of waiting period of existing diseases even after for waiting for past 2 years of existing policy. You should take responsibility with the same eagerness with which you offered and started the policy.

Updated by subratman I have opted a NIC mediclam policy[protected] for my parents via Indian Health Organization two years back. Which was due to be renewed on 15th of Apr'17. But, I have received an sms stating "NIC has discontinued the group policy and need to be migrated to an individual Mediclam policy. As suggested by IHO executive I have approached Pooja Nimesh at (pooja.[protected]@nic.co.in) mentioning that the policy is 2 year old and now covers the existing diseases, with copy of existing policy.
But NIC is now denying to renew the same policy with same terms and condition and asking for new policy which will have further 4 years of waiting period for existing diseases.
IHO is not taking the responsibility and asking me to personally visit the NIC office. IHO should take responsibility with the same eagerness with which they offered and started the policy. Please suggest and request IHO to provide me the escalation matrix and ask me to give a call from a senior person, as the calls I received were of no use.
