Before i catch train from vadodara station, it was announced that the train will not go beyond dahanu. I was carrying weight of approximately 70 kgs.
So i have to call 2 teenagers from borivali to dahanu. There were no coolie on the station (Naturally dahanu is a small station). Other means of transport also not available. Have to shift the weight from platform no 3 to 4 for getting the local train from there. To carry 70 kgs in local is also not a simple task.
Even tcs in the train were not aware of the issue. When i checked on m-indicator, it showed some repairing was going near saphale. All other trains passes through except sayaji express. Repairing was in very small area. So that was not the reason.
Next day i read in newspaper that there was a technical issue in the train and must be addresses at earliest.
The announcement was done at vadodara just 5 minutes before arrival of the train (May be announced on earlier stations also).
Now questions are:
1. If there was a technical issue, why the train was not stopped there only?
2. Why lives of passengers were put on risk?
3. Why train terminated on dahanu where there is no facility for passengers? Alternatively may have been terminated at vapi.
I must not only be refunded but give me compensation of at least rs. 5000/-. There was totally non-matured decision on part of railway.
