Dear sir, i am Srikanth... I had booked a Retiring room in Guntakal Railway station for the dates 9th and 10th May 2023 my checkout time is 06:00hrs on 11th may 2023. I had a reservation for room no 1 (double bed AC). As per schedule My train reached Guntakal station at 23:15hrs and i went to Collect the key of my booked Retiring room...
The lady representative at the office told that the room no 1 is already occupied by some one and i can't help with that... After some augment with her by showing my Reservation slip she called her superior and informed him...
After some time they gave me room no 2...and they didn't even took my personal details before check-in.
Now starts the story...
I entered into the Retiring room and saw the worst situation...
1. The room was used by someone and it's very dirty.
2. The bed sheets on the cot were with dirty stains.
3. The bathroom was pathetic... very dirty.
4. The room is with full of bugs and insects.
5. There was leftover food on table and the room is with dirty smell.
Immediately i went to the office room but no one were there... The time is around 23:45 and there is no option for me to go out of the station...
I was at the corridor of the room outside with my luggage till morning 5:30hrs and went to the office and handover the key to representative and told my situation what I had faced.
Firstly... When I booked the room for 48 hrs that is from 06:00hrs on 9th may 2023 to 06:00hrs 11th May 2023...
How my room was given to another person when it is already reserved...
I did not checked in lately... I came to the station as per my train schedule...

Secondly how they can give me the used and dirty room...

Requesting the IRCTC to solve the issue.

    On 06/May/2023 i deposited 300rs in my IRCTC UTI wallet from UPI, the amount got deducted from my bank but the UTI app said transaction failed. It's been 3 days now and I haven't got my refund. Please process my refund.

      Hi,

      I had booked the train on 8th April from Moradabad to Amritsar for 22nd April. (Train 04653) Humsafar Express

      PNR [protected]

      After two or three days from booking date, I got the message that train is fully canceled. So I booked other train for the same date (22nd April).

      Suddenly on 21st April, I got the message from irctc that the train which was cancelled earlier has been restored. I called to customer care regarding this issue, he told me to file TDR for the same train with the reason "Train has been restored after cancellation" and you will get the full refund in 15 days.

      And I checked the status of TDR, so they rejected my refund request. Literally, like you canceled the train 10 days before departure and sunddenly on the day before departure date, you guys send that train is restored.

      Now, who can help on this, its been already 15 days gone..and I was waiting for the refund

      Can you please help me to get my full refund?

        TDR filing date and Time: 29 Apr 2023 | 08:04PM
        I filled TDR before actual departure of train from my boarding station (Jalgaon) and train was running 07 hrs+ late when I checked. So I filed TDR at 08:04 pm on 29.04.2023 ( Which is before the actual departure of the train i.e. 05:38 am on 30.04.2023 which is 08 hrs 20 minutes late.

          Booked a tatkal e-ticket on 3rd May 2023 on IRCTC website. Boarding from Rourkela (ROU) to destination Kanpur Central (CNB) for date of journey 4 May 2023.
          Unfortunately, the ticket got cancelled and I became eligible for a refund.

            2400 Amount was debited from account 24 hours above but not add in e- wallet, even irctc e-wallet show nothing... What can I do, in my irctc e-wallet there is no showing failed transaction.

              I had booked my onward air ticket from Pune to Delhi on Air India flight AI–850 departing from Pune on 21/03/2023 at 6:50 PM, and my return air ticket from Delhi to Pune by Vistara flight UK–973 departing from Delhi on 22/03/2023 at 8:50 PM. Being a Government of India employee working as Director in a CSIR laboratory in Pune, both bookings were done online through the IRCTC air travel reservations portal. On account of an unexpected emergency on 21/03/2023, I had to extend my proposed journey by 2 days. IRCTC was intimated about this reschedule on 21/03/2023, almost 4 hours prior to my scheduled departure by AI–850 from Pune on 21/03/2023.

              While IRCTC arranged to reschedule my proposed return journey from Delhi to Pune from 22/04/2023 to 24/03/2023 by Vistara flight UK–973 departing from Delhi at 8:50 PM, I was told that a similar reschedule was impossible for my onward journey from Pune to Delhi from 21/03/2023 to 23/03/2023, due to non–availability of reservations by the same airline Air India AI–850 departing from Pune on 23/03/2023. Therefore, I was asked to cancel my one–way onward air ticket from Pune to Delhi on AI–850, and arrange for a separate reservation by a different Air India flight from Pune to Delhi on 23/03/2023. Accordingly, the cancellation of my one–way onward air ticket from Pune to Delhi by Air India AI–850 (IRCTC Booking ID: [protected]; Airline PNR: 5F8FXY) was done on 21/03/2023. I was intimated that the refund amount due to me from IRCTC is Rs. 24, 781/=, after all deductions on penalties. The cancellation invoice was also emailed to me forthwith (attached to this complaint).

              I was informed by Air India that the refund amount due to me has already been processed by the airline and forwarded to IRCTC. However, the refund amount of Rs. 24, 781/= due to me from IRCTC has still not been disbursed to me, despite repeated telephonic reminders and follow–up emails for over the past one month. Hence this complaint for redressal of my grievance, and refund of the amount due to me at the earliest.

              Request your timely intervention on this matter for resolution at the earliest.

              IRCTC informed that the disbursement of refund amount was pending from the airline and there was little that they could do on this front. Further, I called up the airline and warned them that they would face legal action if the long-pending refund amount was not disbursed within one week. This entailed release of the refund amount by the airline and subsequent credit of the refund amount to my account by IRCTC.

                I was planning to travel to Mysuru, Karnataka from Virudhunagar, Tamilnadu on TN Mysuru Express and booked for[protected] for my wife, 2 kids and mother in law.

                But my ticket was not confirmed for my family.

                In this regard i applied for TDR on 28/12/2023 and obtained approval on 02/02/2023

                But as of now no amount credited to my account

                  Myself R.chithra, Iam writing this complain while travelling from arakkonam to mettupalayam in Nilgiri express train number is 12671 on 1st may 2023. I booked 5tickets in 3A coach including for my 6years old son. Since the tickets was in waiting list of wl6, 7, 8, 9, 10 till the day before to travel so i gone for sleeper class tatkal ticket which can book only 4ticket at a time. I book ticket for adults of 4 tickets in sleeper coach ( S1 -26, 29, 30, 32)hence my son name got more preference to get confirm of wl 6 in 3A i kept that ticket alone and rest of the 4tickets i cancelled. After chart prepared wl got confirmed( B3 46 ) and my 6year old son cannot travel alone in ac coach my husband went to his seat . When ticket examiner came he said to my husband that he cant travel in that seat only my son should travel in it. He too came to our S1 coach and asked for my son and told he only should travel in it and my hus cannot. How come we can make a kid travel alone. Will any parent leave their child??. He saying only seat can exchange by person in a coach bt cant change by person in different coach . If then so how i make my child travel alone. He shouted at us like we are travelling without ticket. I told him we had paid money and travelling. He said he will make that seat to other RAC people or we should pay extra money. Is this logic? We cant tolerate this anymore as he keep on judging us like we made a mistake and blaming us.. I told him that my hus will stay in that seat we paid money and travelling. Atlast he cursed my husband that he will face trouble in his job. . How cunning he is ?? I can cancelled that whole tickets in a.c and book tickets in sleeper tatkal and i can say my son is reaching only 5years . We dont want to cheat, want to follow the rules of the government. Hence this is the punishment for us to follow the rules. I dont know the name of that TTE but he made us our travel memorable and spoiled our
                  vacation and gave us all mental pressure. Please take the severe action against him

                    I had cancelled below PNR tickets for the train (16219) from KJM to TPTY on 15th April and yet not received the refund. It's already been more than 20 days and I've tried contacting to customer services but they are trying to escape the situation by giving different customer care numbers rather than resolving my issue. This is really frustrating and I'm not liking this attitude at all.

                      Please find attached SMS screenshot from Indian Railway System, As per the
                      SMS train was late around more than 3 hours.We have waited more than 2 hrs then decided to not travel on said train. But Tdr is rejected.

                        I am travelling from Arakkonam to Pune,
                        I booked The waiting List 19 after it gone RAC, the IRCTC given side lower berth for two passengers, tell me how to take slip in hole night, why given such kind of allocation, if the IRCTC is world longest Train service’s why not provide additional coach to such kind passengers

                        I am really upset because from
                        Last three travels doing the always RAC with sharing the seat

                        Also after 6hours journeys yet to get the conformation berth, TTs are yet to conforming the seats

                        Please look the matters and take the further allocation for the RAC passengers

                              This is to bring to your notice that I was charged twice on credit card number ending with 4006 on 18th April 2023 on https://heliyatra.irctc.co.in/ however .

                              I was booking helicopter for my family for chardham yatra.

                              booking ID [protected] for RS 11704, & [protected] for RS 5832 went through and their website kept freezing at the payment confirmation page, after about waiting for 20 minutes on the same page I received error" This site can’t be reached" I went to the booking section of my heliyatraIRCTC online portal and found that the booking showed failed.

                              I was under an impression that the amount would get credited back in 2-3 business days. Hence I patiently waited.

                              After 3 biz days I sent email to [protected]@irctc.co.in to inquiry but I was not responded, I called them but the IVR kept disconnecting the line.

                              Please investigate.

                                I tried to add money in irctc ewallet for 2times of rupees 4000 and 5000 and the money was deducted from my account but the irctc ewallet shows as failed . Kindly refund my amount. I attached the transaction history of both.

                                    Booked a ticket with PNR [protected] on SBP NED S F (20809) from PVPT to SC on 10th Apr, 2023.

                                    Actual departure of train at PVPT station was 17:10 hrs. but Train reached PVPT station at 20:16 hrs, which indicates the train is late by more than 3 hrs.

                                    Also passengers did not travel in the train.

                                    So I filed TDR with reason "Train Late More Than Three Hours and Passenger Not Travelled".

                                    But TDR repudiated with an invalid reason "Reason for Repudiation/rejection:, TRAIN NOT LATE BY MORE THAN 3 HRS. AND TDR NOT FILED WITHIN ACTUAL DEPARTURE OF THE TRAIN"

                                    Kindly approve the TDR and refund the amount.

                                      I used my netbanking for recharging R Wallet o[censored]TS mobile app( Under IRCTC).But at first attempt money is not credited to my R Wallet and money has been deducted from my account please do the needful
