I have been using irctc website for train ticket bookings since many years. Earlier it was very convenient for working people like me but now it has become worse than hell. Every time i login, it fails to connect most of the times. Worse is that when after completing all the form filling and account details filling formalities, it deducts the amount and in reply it says "sorry please try again". My credit card limit gets exhausted after repeated attempts where it deducts money but fails to book ticket. Can irctc reply me on this issue. Why the money is deducted every time? Is it another way of generating funds for railways by holding the money o[censored]sers for few days. Itctc please respond.

    On 16th feb, 2018 I have booked a ticket from Jaipur to Pune but the transaction failed. Money is being deducted but no money has been credited to the bank.
    The IRCTC site is showing refund status as "Refunded" but no money is credited from IRCTC to the Bank.

    Please let me know what is the issue and till when the amount shall be credited to bank.

    Sir i have booked tickets from jabalpur to jhansi on 27/01/2018 for 06/02/2018 the amount for which was 3350but it was debited twice i.e 3350*2=6700 and the ticket was not booked .
    I have not recieved he refund till date .

      I booked a train ticket On IRCTC On 20/01/2018.
      Date of journey was 12/02/2018.
      But the train get cancelled.
      IRCTC website Showing Refund has been done pon date 16/02/2018.
      But I have not received that amount in my account.

        It's was 12th June 2018
        I had booked a ticket from Thalaserry to Pune Junction on 12th February 2018 for 12 May 2018. I cancelled the ticket due to my error the it showed a refund of Rs1400 but its been 4days still it's not being refunded back to my bank account.

        I want my refund ASAP.

          I have booked a ticket for my self mr. Dayagar for travek from surat to rajkot by surat rajkot exp train dep surat at 10 ocloc morning. After making the payment of rs 450/ trough hdfc debit card there was sime failure. When i checked my bank account i got message of psyment is done. But huwever, when i logged back to irctc i could not see my reservation.

            My irctc id bcreddy001. I booked one ticket on 13.2.2018 from mahabubnagar to chittoor journey on 11.3.2018.in this regard amount deducted from my icici bank a/c no.[protected] for rs.1460/- vide receipt no. Vin/www irctc c/201 [protected]/0. But ticket ticket details not received. The above transaction amount is still pending.
            Pl look into the matter and settle the matter at an early date.

            Hi, I booked a online ticket in 3rd AC and paid ₹4821 from irctc App, it show payment status, now I'm not sure whether my ticket is booked or I need to rebook.

            It's really annoying and frustrating. Can someone Pls advice on this issue urgently because there are limited seat available in the train.

              Please find the complaint summary logged for irctc ;

              I had booked e ticket with transaction id: [protected] and pnr no [protected].

              But 1 day before travel date, i got an sms from irctc that the train is delayed by 11 hours so due to that i had to cancel the booked e ticket.
              So i cancelled the ticket due to the train delay.
              Now after i cancelled the ticket, i got the refund amount after cancellation charges of 560 rupees which should not have been charged.

              In irctc website i am not able to file tdr, so sent the mail so that i get the full booked ticket amount refunded to me.
              But i am not geting refund of the full booked ticket amount and cancellation ticket charge should not be charged to me as i have been refunded the amount after charging of the cancellation ticket amount.

              So please look into it and refund the full amount and resolve the issue soon.

                  I booked for 2 people in tirumala tour by venkatadri express. On reaching tirupathi railway station, we were made to walk for 5 minutes till a ;ick-up vehicle arrived. Though i booked for comfort package (Ac), i was told rudely that we have to check-out of hotel sindhuri park by 8 am next day. Next day, by 12 noon our darshan at tirumala was completed. After that there is no accommodation till 6.35 pm. After talking to irctc contact person over phone, he told rudely that you should have read our itenarary. But my question to irctc is, can you design a package where you leave your customers on the road for 6 to 7 hours on the road with out accommodation. Irony is that for non-ac package, they are providing accommodation till 5.30 pm in the evening. Every one booking this package should know that no water bottles will be given by irctc through out the tour and for dinner, if thali is not provided by hotel, the charges will be restricted to rs.120 per person. Over and above that you should pay from you pocket.

                  The quality of tour packages by irctc has gone down drastically over the years. Long back, irctc used to maintain good quality and care of customers which is lacking now.

                  Hope irctc mends its ways.

                      My name bharat a shah, i had booked my ticket today from bandra to bhuj. I am 73yrs old man and booked for senior citizen concession and lower berth. Inspite of selecting for lower berth.. I get upper berth. How can senior citizen like me climb up. This has happened to me twice. Due to which i had cancel my ticket and program.. Which caused a lot inconvenience to me. I am regular traveller. I am very unhappy with your service.

                        This is inform to you that, i have book my indian railway ticket from irctc of i-ticket on 05/02/2018 and journey date is 19/02/2018 but still my ticket in not delivered. I have still not received my railway ticket for my journey scheduled for tomorrow morning.
                        I called irctc 24x7 customer service many times. The first time they provided me the overnite express courier contact number to track my ticket. The number provided is switched off since 10th feb. The second time i spoke with irctc 24x7 helpline, they said their system is down so they cannot help. Today i am trying to call them, no one is answering their 24x7 help line or any other customer service number provided in their website. I have to travel tomorrow and i dont have my ticket yet. So can you please give me the current status and i request you to deliver my ticket as soon as possible. This is my ticket pnr no. [protected] and transaction id is :- [protected].                             I had booked a ticket on 11th feb with transaction id [protected] on irctc. I cancelled the ticket on 13th feb. Irctc is showing that the amount of rs 1500 is refunded on 14th feb and the bank name it is showing payumpp but i have not got the refund yet. The cancellation id is [protected] and i had used boi debit card for transaction. Please do the needful at earliest.

                              Ordered chicken biryani in jhelum exp (11077) : quality of rice as well as the meat was unbearable, both rice as well as meat was undercooked
                              Non veg meal appears to be lacking all the items that are mentioned in the menu, all the items that were mentioned were not provided (In my case as well as fellow passengers, they failed to provide curd or sweet as mentioned in the thali) therefore a strict action is requested, otherwise the quality of food will go on degrading day by day

                                  You charge us ₹775 plus tax for absolutely nothing special, the seats are just as uncomfortable as the seats in the less expensive compartments in the same train.
                                  The recliner lever does not work, it requires us to push the seats front or back ourselves, you offer “wifi termed as a magicbox” which is certainly just a joke, it does not work!

                                  But there is an other compartment with a display and better seats which costs just the same as this one, we have been told by the staff that the irctc website bifercates it’s customers as to who gets the better compartment and who gets the worse. This is a cheap way of ripping off the travellers who have no choice but to travel through the indian railway.

                                  The Chennai mysuru shatabdi train no. 12008 has name boards only in Tamil. Ideally the display of train name and destinations should be in English and Hindi and local language. It it very depressing to note this. I noticed this during my travel 8n shatabdi 12008 from mysore to Chennai. So many passengers from North were finding it difficult to identify the train. The train Number displayed is too small. Pls appeal to the concerned authorities to act in an impartial way and display boards in English and Hindi also.

                                    I had booked train ticket using irtc app via zaak epayment service pvt ltd gate way. My ticket was not booked but my money was taken from my bank account. The transaction details inb/[protected]/zaak epayment services pvt ltd. The amount is 870.90 inr on 17, feb 2018. I had contacted my bank and they had confirmed the money was taken from my bank account. Please refund my money back. My email address is [protected]@yahoo.com. My contact no [protected].                                         I have to travel by sj rajdhani as it has no booking in general quota between my stations, but from last few months every time i book in tatkal, it shows error that booking not allowed while there is seats available and money got debited from account. I have to suffer as i have no other option to travel. I have contacted customer care but there was no satisfactory reply from them. Kindly resolve this issue.
