I had booked a ticket from delhi shahdra (Dsa) to saharanpur (Sre) in train - 14521 and my seats were 51 (Ws) and 52 (Nc). But when i boarded the train 51 turned out to be aisle and not window. Neither 52 was window side. Even me and my wife had to sit on separate seats which appeared to be together. This created a lot of chaos inside the compartment. So, i demand the compensation for the inconvinience caused to me. It’s the sole responsibility of the dept. To check the seat numbers and then allot on irctc.

      Hi support team,
      I have booked a general (Gn) ticket from lko
      To dli for 13413/farakka express on 24th oct,
      2017 and date of journey was 24th oct, 2017.
      For reason train delayed more than 3 hours and
      The passenger has not traveled, i filled the tdr
      For the same in irctc against my ticket and the
      Status was turned to cr registered, but the
      Amount was not refunded yet.
      I am not sure what else i might be missing to
      Get amount refunded. Please let me know what i

        Hi,

        I was trying to book tatkal ticket and logged in exactly at 10:50 am today and tried booking at 11am sharp for a trip from bangalore to dharwad ranichennamma first time itself i got an error "you are permitted only 2 tatkal tickets between 10:00 am to 12:00 pm per ip address".

        Since it was urgent for me i tried again again i got same error. First time availability was 244 then it was showing then 200 then 136 and then 70. I tried from different machine there also same error by 11:13 am it was sold out.

        Not sure why this service is open for common people when railways have sold this service to private agents or to 'unknown' hands!!!

        When railways is not possible then common people to cough money to bus operators who loot people anyways during week end travel by charging whopping rs. 200 and upto rs.500 extra money than normal fare.

        I cancelled the ticket with the transaction id [protected], but my ticket fare has not been refunded to my bank account yet .
        It shows to have transferred to some PAYTM SDK, but i have not booked the ticket through PAYTM.

        Please refund the amount to my bank acocunt at the earliest.

          Sir
          I was a traveller in the lakshdeweep-nizamudheen superfast train on 18th november, boarded from aluva railway station to kozhikode at aboaut 130pm, while returning from lakshadweep trip with my wife and son. I upgraded my sleeper ticket to second ac, ordered three chicken biryani from the pantry car. I like to point out an unfortunate event as my wife almost bite a big glass piece with about 1.5x1.5cm size, while eating from the packet of chicken biryani, mildly injured her throat, was so lucky to spit it out. Unlike any other insects or something else, she could have endangered to a major threat if swallowed or badly injured along with the food. We immediately pointed out it to tte, train was near chalakudy station, he spoke to the pantry manager and they issued another one. I am hereby requesting you to take suitable action to the ignorance of the pantry service, as they didn’t realised the big threat or mistake they made as take it so lightly ignored the issue and not even have the courtesy to pacify us even though we narrowly escaped from a danger. If it happened to a child or a passenger in a hungry mood to eat, the threat was so big and dangerous and as a doctor, i am pointing out not to repeat such a shameless ignorance from their part in future.

              I Have Tried to book tatkal ticket on 11th November 2017. When the payment method started the payment got failed it happened two times third time ticket got booked with waiting list. But when payment failed the amount got deducted from my account two times. Can you please help me in refunding the amount.

                I had filed a tdr request due to train no.12562 late than its scheduled time by more than 4.50 hours on 27.08.2017.

                Detail is as under:

                        I have booked the ticket on 1 ac but its get reallotted to 2 ac.

                        After that same day i try to call irtc but its was in waiting or call drop so i call to 139, inform to situation that guys told me do not worry its will be return within 2 days.

                        But still not received any amount.

                        After i have mail to railway care & irctc to taker care but still no body taken any action or call back.

                        On 11 nov. 2017 i unfortunately my call get connected to irctc, they told me that you have to inform earlier or taken written from tc or tdr to be file.

                        How i can get this knowledge for the return the fund.

                        As its ticket got confirm by railway itself, so it railway responsible to pay back to each customer..

                          When by online reservation we booked tickets then seats are not confirmed and allotted as per the choosen preference of seats even after the seats availability is there.
                          But if we booked tickets from any agent then he give us the preferred seats.
                          Why there is so discrimination with users who booked ticket by their own.
                          Even for senior citizens the seats are not allotted if we choose during booking online when the availability is there.
                          Please resolve this issue so that everybody should get their choosen seats when booking is done.

                            Today (19/11/2017) i have done an online transaction to purchase a ticket on 15909 avadh assam exp from sv jn to delhi boarding on 21/11/2017. Unfortunately after the payment was made through sbi payment gateway, the error, "redirect=https://www.irctc.co.in/cgi-bin/bv60.dll/irctc/booking/bankrespon...�... came up without giving me the confirmation of the payment and neither the ticket is generated.

                            This is really embarrasing situation and irctc is expected to help me at the earliest with the ticket if the payment is already confirmed at their end. If not refund the same amount.

                            Expecting a reply as soon as possible.

                                I had booked railway etickets on 18/9/17 and 15/10/17 through my irctc app and maked the payment via rupay debit card/sbi credit card. Pnr no of all etickes are [protected]/[protected]/[protected]/[protected]. Afterward, i had cancelled the all etickets through my irctc app on 11/10/17 and 22/10/17 respectively and cancellation id of all etickets are [protected]/[protected]/[protected] and [protected] and total refund amount is 14040/. But i am very sorry to inform you after a stipulated period of refund rule of irctc they are unable to refund the amount till date.in spite of many email deliver to irctc regarding refund of amount neither they respons to me nor pay of amount to me

                                      My user id at irctc.co.in is purushotam, mobile no, [protected], registered mail id is [protected]@rediffmail.com. The train tickets booked till 05-nov-2017 is attached as proof. Am requesting them from 16-nov-2017, they are asking to send mail from registered mail. Id. I feel my train tickets will be cancelled by some body and my money will go. Am also trying to reach them on phone[protected], but not successful. All the requested documents are attached.                                         Refund status showing - refunded on 14.11.17 but still today amount of rs 680 not credited in account
                                        Pl do needful & refund the same amount.

                                        We have refunded the amount in the same account from which you had made the payment.
                                        The refund including service charge against this ticket has been done with below given details. Kindly contact the bankers for refund confirmation.
